A Woman, Not Just a Woman
*I want to greet first, all woman writers in this platform and to all the woman around the world. Yes, this is the day to celebrate the woman empowerment, to show once again the importance and right of every woman.*
*Last week, I read a lot of articles about woman as the main topic; how important they are, how they struggle in life, how being a housewife is not that easy as what we thought, and many more. But then, at last I love to read a good feedback for woman, as I myself, appreciating and respecting other woman is also my pride and happiness.*

In today's generation, women have the right to speak and do the things that they like, unlike before that woman are under the authority of man. In our old culture, just like here in the Philippines, women should always stay at home, some don't pursue education as what the point of having this education if at the end, she will just stay at home and serve her husband lifetime. No freedom to do what they want, as they are only women, No right to choose for their future, as they are only women. No opportunity to speak out, as they are only women.
As life competencies increases, people now a days learn what is the right thing to do. Men know how to respect and serve women as they deserve, while women on the other hand have the freedom to show what they got.
But remember, this is not for all.
I was scrolling to my Tiktok feeds last weekend, just to relax when I saw a man slapping his gf's face, the gf didn't any revenge and just let her bf do it and walk out.
I'm not against a man scolding a woman, because this is an act of correcting a mistake or to show that you're against on what she did. But not to the point that you will hurt her physically. Argument is so normal in couple but never ever remove your respect.
There this worker who weekly visit my mom in thier clinic, she always open up about their situation and she asked about contraceptive vaccine. It was her second time for that vaccine but when mom touch her left arm, she said if they can just do it again in her right arm. My mom didn't agree, as it should be on the other side of arm, but she didn't let mom to open the sleeves in her left arm. Mom get curious and asked her what happened, and she immediately burst out crying. She open her sleeves and there's a big bruise made by the punch by her husband. She explain to my mom that she always palpitate after vaccination but still force herself to do it because they already have 5 childrens and she don't want to add more. Her husband don't have a stable work and only go whenever he want. What she always do is to bring her kids to her mom and get them again at night after work. At home, it's she who always prepare everything, and her husband keeps on using her at night even she is tired, everytime she reject it, her husband beat him.
*My mom already give her advices, and I hope she will follow it.*
Still although woman have the right, some are still in the came of the world of depression. As like what I've watched, the woman said ,***"Please make sure that you teach your son that women are not objects and you need to respect them. Don't protect women, teach them(men) how to behave."***
Do you know what's mode funny in a relationship? When the man broke up the girl just because they found another one, or their love already fade. I just want to add this because I have a bestfriend who have a strong personality but now crying because of a man who don't act like a man. I remember what **Vice Ganda** (*one of the Phenomenal Box Office Star in the Philippines)* said;
Usually woman don't court man, although it's her choice to do so if she want to. But in our culture, it's the man who courted a woman. Woman are just quiet, but then the man came and make her fall in love, so that they can be in a relationship. Then suddenly you(*a man)* will say *"I made a wrong decision", "I hope you find the right man for you"*. Eh! You were the one who enter her life while she's at peace, then it's you who will broke up? You are the one who entered a person's life, then you messed up her life, then when a woman used to be with you, then you left her.
*Not all men are like this, but just a reminder for those who are.*
*Why I share some stories like this? Since this is a day for women, I want to remind every ladies to take care of yourself, don't let ordinary stone broke the diamond in you. Let yourself shine and remember you're worth to love and respect.*

Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief Featuring Medusa
*It's been a long time since I want to share this topic and now finally I was able to completed it. Today's topic, is all about one of my favorite movie inspired by Greek Mythology; Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. For those who love Mythology, I highly recommend this one, although there are more series of books about Percy Jackson such as The Sea of monster, The Titan's Curse and The Battle of Labyrinth written by Rick Riordan; but for now, I'll just focus on The Lightning Thief, my gateway to discovered Percy Jackson.*
*Since I know that not everyone are familiar with this movie, then I'll just share some points which can help you throughout if you want to read the book or to watch the film adaptation.*

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief
This story focuses on the main character Percy Jackson a demigod*(half human - half god)* who was the son of Poseidon. Since it was forbidden for a god to have a relationship to human, then Poseidon left them when he was just a baby, her mom kept this as a secret for his own safety. Since early childhood he was always get into trouble and known having ADHD and dyslexia without knowing it's part of having a blood of god.
When Percy Jackson finally knew his true identity her mother Sally Jackson sent him to Camp Half-Blood where he met a lot of teenagers, a demi god. There are other characters deuteragonist like;
**Grover Underwood** - the guardian of Percy Jackson. He was a **satyr**, *half human - half goat.*
**Annabeth Chase** - demigod daughter of Athena. Love interest of Percy Jackson.
**Mr. Brunner** - latin teacher of Percy Jackson which is a **Chiron**, *half human - half horse.*
The main conflict in the story is when Percy Jackson was accused who stole the lightning bolt of Zeus *(god of sky)*. His journey start in proving his innocence and saving her mother's life.
*Does Percy Jackson stole the lightning bolt? Is anyone stole the lightning bolt? Why he was accused by Zeus? What are the reasons of his journey? Where did they go?* Are just some of the common questions in the story's exposition, but just like what I've said 'm not gonna answer those, as I don't want to be a spoiler for those who will watch the movie.
**My favorite part in the movie is when they finally met Medusa.**
Medusa is known as evil, monster and enemy of gods and goddess in Greek Mythology, without knowing the real story behind her situation. She is the most misunderstood character and only much known for her appearance having hair of snakes. She was the only mortal among 3 Gorgons, her sisters are Stheno and Euryale.
Medusa was once a kind, innocent and beautiful lady. She adores Athena *(goddess of wisdom)* so much, that she became one of priestess in Athena's temple. A lot of people come to Athena's temple just to see the beauty of Medusa, which makes Athena jealous to Medusa. One day, Poseidon (*god of the sea*) saw Medusa and it catch his attention, Poseidon tried to get Medusa but she keeps on rejecting him. Until Poseidon get Medusa by force, Medusa run to Athena's temple to ask for them but no one was there to help her, after Poseidon rape Medusa Athena came out and angrily confronted Medusa why she do tha act inside her holy temple. Athena didn't listen to Medusa and curse her to become a monster. Now, a beautiful and kind Medusa turns to a monster.
Back to the story, Percy Jackson finally defeated Medusa by cutting her head.
In Greek Mythology, Medusa became one of the dangerous monster, he can turn someone into a stone by just looking at her eyes. They try to kill Medusa, but they all failed. Until, King Polydectes sent Perseus, he give him a sword while Athena give him the polished shield. Using his skills and dedication to kill Medusa he was able to trick her using the shield's reflection and have the chance to cut Medusa's head.
*At last, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, is just one of the movie which teach us not only about myth and legends but also the moral of life.*

What's More About Myself
*Finally it's already weekend, gonna take some time to relax and finish all the remaining task; hopefully I can. By the way, take some bite of my snacks fried siomai, I don't know if you have tried this. But yes, it's a siomai, disadvantage when it's fry because it was deformed but still taste good.*

Have you ever had a nickname? What is it?
Yes I do have a lot of nicknames. But if we based on the nickname which my parents given to me then it's "EJ", this is my nickname and at the same time the acronym of my first real name.
Way back when I was in primary, I always feel bad with my nickname. According to my classmates it sounds like a name of a boy. When we are having campings at school, it only asked our nickname for ID, and everytime I get mine, their reaction was always *"I thought you're a boy."*
I am angry telling my mom why they give me this kind of name, like I'm irritated answering their question, sometimes I felt insulted. But as I get matured, I realized that this name suits my personality. I met a lot of people who appreciate it, and proud I'm EJ.
What are your hobbies?
There's a lot but the number 1 is doing art. At first I found happiness in cute staffs, my hobbies is just to collect them until it leads me to discover some of my skills.
What is your biggest fear?
Just like most of us, I'm afraid to lose the people that I love. I think this one doesn't need more explanation.
What is your favorite childhood memory?
When my father used to tell bedtime stories, particularly horror stories. He the man behind most of the horror stories that I've shared; he used to tell me about his real-life experiences, which makes me very proud of him.
If you ask me who I think is the best tale teller I know, I'd say my father. He is too good for God to use his gifts to make him an instrument for spreading the Gospel.
What three things do you think of the most each day?
What to do, what do eat and what I have done. What to do, as I want my day to be productive as always. What to eat, because being in charge with cooking, sometimes I don't know what to prepare, especially when we are lacking of ingredients in the kitchen. What I have done, to sum up everything, and get sad why I haven't finish the task.
Do you collect anything?
I'm a sentimental person, so of course I do. Even in the simplest of things, I found love. Art materials such as pens, coloring materials, paper, sketch pads, journal materials, and so on, are currently my most prized possessions.
Hopefully, I'll be able to finish my piece about one of my best collections, which will be published soon.
What was your first job?
Okay let me go to On-the-job Training(OJT), me and my classmates/workmates was assigned in Red Cross Chapter. For those who are not familiar what is Red Cross, this is a private organization which the main goal is to give first-aid and to alleviate human suffering; conducting leadership training, blood donation, first-aid training is just few of their activities.
We are assigned to work there for two weeks. We met a lot of volunteers, especially students who spent their vacant time in the chapter just to help in case of emergency. We visit their laboratories, and joined different activities.
What is your favorite game or sport to watch and play?
I like to watch Barangay basketball league, maybe that's the reason why I'm so dedicated to join Woman's basketball in our school before(lol). For my own sports, I play chess, not good now.
What motivates you to work hard?
God, my love ones and myself. God, because He teach and give me a lot in life, at least I want to make an exchange by achieving the opportunities that He has given to me. Love ones, because they are my inspirations, what I'm doing is mostly for them, I want to give what they deserved. Myself, as don't want to settle for less.

Health : Self-Checking
*Although we grow as one here in this platform, we all have our responsibilities and work to do in real life. Students who are busy in online or modular classes, housewives who are busy taking care the whole family and house chores, parents who work hard for the family, frontliners who serve as our soldiers in this pandemic and many more.*
*But have you pause for a moment and asked if you're really fine?*

*We have the* ***4 Types of Wellness*** *:* ***Physical****,* ***Emotional****,* ***Mental*** *and* ***Spiritual****. These are basis for you to say that you're Totally Healthy;*
Physical Health
The physical look of your body is the first thing that others will notice about you. **Exercise** not only helps you lose weight and build muscle, but it also improves your posture and blood circulation. It's difficult to exercise on a regular basis, especially when you're busy or lazy, but remember that if you want to be physically fit, you should go for it.
What you eat is what you are, this doesn't mean that if you eat chicken you became chicken too, but this only mean that if you eat **healthy foods** then you become healthy too. I'm not against eating fastfood or chips, as I myself found happiness in this kind of food; good for mental health. However, we should limit.
**7-8 hours of sleep**, have you? Are you also like me who got irritated easily when you don't get a proper sleep? Our body needs rest, like a phone that needs to be charge. If you're a busy person then give credits to your body by giving it proper time to rest.
**Proper Hygiene**, I remember my TLE teacher who always shout *"SANITATIIIOONN!"*, as for her cleanliness is everything. Aren't you attracted to a man or a woman who is neat and clean to him/herself? Be that person too.
Emotional Health
I used to be the type of friend who always said yes to every request, but now I'm willing to stand and **say no if it's necessary**. We can't escape the fact that there are people who take advantage of your kindness and generosity, and you keep creating them without realizing you're breaking yourself.
**Choose your friends** **and activities that will make you happ**y; "they may call you crazy, but at least you're a happy crazy, not a lonely empty"
Mental Health
One of my bestfriend experienced depression, he comes to the point that what he want is just to eat whole day, he don't want to do anything and cry without any reason. He was occupied with lots of works that make him stress and struggle. Until he said to himself, "this is not me anymore."
Have you also experience depression? or realized that you're changing negatively?
Our mind is powerful, it can affect our physical, emotional and spiritual aspect of being. What you think affects on how act and become. So we must be careful about this.

I was in primary when I first heard a priest said *"The Word of God is the food of your soul. Imagine yourself being fat, with a thin soul".* From that moment I make sure to **read bible everyday**, as I want my soul to be healthy too.
Happy, sad, angry, worried, scared or what emotion who have, we should **not forget to pray**. Before we sleep, the moment we woke up, we shouldn't forget Who is more important. Why? Because it's way of communicating God.
While the highest form of prayer, the praise and worship, to sing to our almighty God, **to go in church, moshjid and/or temples** where we can offer our time, talent and devotion.

We are not the only one here
*Before I will start, I would like to greet everyone for reaching another month to achieve. I welcome this month with hectic schedule, please pardon me if cannot engage and reply to your comments but still trying my best to support. By the way to @Trofi01 , once again thank you so much, you're one of those who support me a lot here, I highly appreciate your greetings; yes finally I achieved the 7 months. I will not set goals for now, as there are more important things that I need to do, but I'll do my best to interact at least.*
*Now, I would like to share the scary experiences of my mom at work. This is for those who like horror stories like me.*

My mom works in a company where they processes fish for exporting. She work as a nurse, and do her duty according to their shift, there are weeks that she in a morning schedule while other weeks for night shifting, as there are only two nurses; my mom and Sister Che*(not her real name)*
On her first months of working there, mom can say that everything was fine. I've visited their clinic and it's quite big, consisting of two rooms excluding the comfort room. The first room is for all medical supplies, where they accept visitors, or those workers who need check up and/or ask some medicine for first aid. On the other room, there are two beds good for patients.
One day, she went early in their workplace and there's still this other nurse on duty. There's no other worker that time, so they are just talking to each until Sister Che open up with my mom that she keeps on having nightmare for how many nights, when she's sleeping during her night shift.
*Just to make this clear, both of them prefer to sleep or take some nap during their one hour vacant.*
According to Sister Che she always dream that someone is pulling her hair until she cannot breathe for forcing herself to move; but she can't. My mom felt goosebumps on what she shared so she prefer not to sleep that night.
It's already 7:30 pm, my mom is busy writing accidental report until she heard that there was like someone taking some water in their water dispenser. When she look back she saw that it was slightly open, so she move closer to close it. But when she's already I'm front of the dispenser, she saw that there's a black shadow who passed by in his side. My mom did her prayer, and finally 8:00 pm time to go home.
The next night, still in her night shift she go to the comfort room to pee. Since there's no available water, she go outside to use their public comfort room. When arrived there, there's no other workers. She enter inside the first cubicle, and heard a flush on the next cubicle. She felt relieved thinking that she is not the only one there. During that time the light inside their public cr is dim, so it's a relief when you're not alone. After that, she go out in the cubicle and wash her hands, but still curious why the person in the other cubicle still didn't came out.
She waits till a shoe came out under the cubicle and then returns inside. Mom was terrified, so she knocked on the door, but no one answered. She left and returned to their clinic. She continues checking to see whether someone used the public restroom because it is only visible from their clinic, but no ono.
Just last week, they have this team building and they spent it in a hotel. She enjoy it, and sending some photos of her with Sister Che; they are only two of them in the room. Until the night came, they are just talking to each other until they hear a flush. They just ignore it and forcing themselves to believe that maybe it's in the other room.
Late night, both of them are already sleeping but they woke up by the noise of dragging chair, seems like it's in the room which their company admins stayed, they hear laughing voice and some noise that they can't understand. Mom approach Sister Che, to ask if she also heard those noise and she said "yes".
In the morning they all gathered in the hotel's convention area, they open up with their other workers about what they hear and they said that they also hear the same. The admins came in and mom ask them if are dragging chair late night, as they can't sleep because of it, but the answered that they also can't sleep because the volume of the tv in mom and Sister Che's room is so loud, where in fact they don't open tv late night.
One of the admin join their group and said, *"We are not the only one here!"*

Proud to be me, Proud to be Pinoy
*Pinoy or Filipino is the term that we use to refer someone living in the Philippines. Being a Filipina it's an honor to be in country known as being friendly and talented. I don't know if you have observed but most tourists love the Philippines not only by it's natural beauty but also on how welcoming the people are. Aside from this, Filipino talents can compete worldwide; beauty pageants, sports, entertainment, agriculture and so on.*
*What I appreciate more, is those foreign people who found love in the Philippines. For example, our very own President, he is not perfect but I can say that he is great. Sadly, there are still Filipinos who look down on him, without knowing that the other countries are so proud of our own leader. He is going to leave a great history, hopefully the next leader will be, so to my co-filipino writers we should vote wisely.*

What makes someone a Filipino is his/her Personality, Behavior, Tradition and beliefs. In personality, we Filipinos have this unique character which we are flexible enough to adapt in any environment; not a surprise why there's a lot of Filipino abroad. But I know not everyone do it by choice but because of needs, hopefully the next leaders will provide a more higher salary and job opportunities to all Filipinos, so no need fo work abroad. Filipinos are also known for being strong and happy go lucky, that no matter what challenges we encountered we still aim for positivity.
For the behavior, Filipinos have this unique behavior, the way they talk and act. We are also known for being conservative, but because of globalization and influence of social media then we filipinos tried to go with the trend. Advantage or not, in depends on someone's perspective.
For the Tradition and beliefs, just like other countries who have their own tradition and beliefs, we filipinos tend to celebrate fiestas, holidays and other special occasions. Beliefs about superstitions and other folklore, it's funny how filipino defend the Philippines by *"Aswang"*, white lady, Tikbalang, Tiyanak, Kapre and other supernatural entities, including Cardo Dalisay; but then these are just made by the sense of humor.
However, have you seen someone dragging down your own country? Degrading someone's belief is a big NO-NO. We have this golden rule "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", we want them to respect our own tradition, so we would do the same. Besides, learning other's culture is not only gaining knowledge but also fun. In todays generation, appreciating everyone's culture is a must than building gap. Even inside our own country, we are consist of different cultures, but it doesn't build any hindrance to build the friendship or a family. At last, if we know how to appreciate respect, then we can gain peace.
Lastly,we must me multi-culturally literate. So what are the things that we need to improved to become multi-culturally literate? In order to improve, we must first be culturally aware. We need to learn first what does culture really mean, the tradition and beliefs; to answer questions why and what. Being flexible, just like here in the Philippines, we need to be flexible enough to engage with other culture, not to self-centered.
To be sensitive, although we are against on what that particular tradition it is, we must sensitive enough to understand them. The last but not the least, know your own culture. Before going beyond, it must you who know and appreciate your culture more than anyone else.

The beauty of darkness with the single light of candle
*Sunday with full of love, another week of job well done. Hopefully everyone had a great morning, some of us went to church while some attended online mass. I came up with the verse;*
*"For it is you who light my lamp; the Lord my God lightens my darkness"*
*- Proverbs 18:28*
*This means that we should not be afraid of darkness as there's the Light; our Lord our God. He will serve as the love in all the hatred, the hope in all the discouragement, and solution in all problems that we have.*
*Yesterday, I read Sis Jramona's post about her two sisters, in which she discussed their favorite childhood activities. This reminds me of those times when I used to play "Bahay-bahayan" too, but since I previously mentioned it in my first article, then I'll go with the candle.*

Even in the midst of the darkness, I remembered how precious every moment was when I was a child. As I observed kids now a days are irritated when there's no electricity, so different from the kids before. Can you recall your neighbor's reaction every time there was a brown-out/black-out? We can actually get more precious reaction on this every night, when the electricity back again everyone in our neighbors are clapping and you will hear children shouting *"There's an electricity!"* It was like you're the hero is you are first one who inform everyone that there's already an electricity.
Now, I just want to highlights those things that we like to do when there's no electricity;
Playing with the shadow
Have you ever tried to make an animal out of your hand's shadow? This is one of our favorite games to play when there's no electricity. Birds and fish are the easiest to make. I have a friend who is quite skilled at creating animal shadows, whereas another friend is unable to do so appropriately; as a result, they will end up fighting. Aside from that, we enjoy dancing and seeing our movements in the shadow. If you've seen the *El Gamma Penumbra on Asia's Got Talent*, you'll see that we're aiming to be like them.
Story Time
Just like most of us who likes to share and listen to stories I also like to do this with my friends.
We like to gather in our house, we have this friend who have a mini sari-sari store and it's his task to bring candle. Did you know that we also have this attendance checking everytime we do this? Yes, and it's me who hold the attendance list. We put candle at the center and start to share some stories, until we end up with horror stories, my favorite part.
Abacadabra
Who is in here experience to be a magician using candle? Because I'm one of it. Another friend of mine who shows a magic trick, we make a circle and he is the one at the center with this candle. He then passing his index finger in this burning part of the candle and said *"Chada! No pain! "*, and we was like *"wooow!"* while clapping at him. Everyone of us tried it, and so happy with the magic trick. Now I realized that one second fire is not enough to feel the pain.
Experiment Time
Since the kid's imagination is so wide, me ans my friends made some experiment too. What we like to do is dangerous, but we tried to burn different kind of plastics just to observe how it works, and what we like the most is the stick of lollipop, the way how it melt and give drops is so satisfying. Another one is shaping the melted part into a new one. Lastly, we drops the melted part of candle to the water.
On the other hand, if we look at the other side of life, we can see that there is beauty in everything; perhaps you're currently preoccupied with darkness, but remember that even if there is only a small candle to serve as a light, you should try to make use of it and do things that will make you feel better. It's not so much about the situation as it is about how you respond to it.
We tend to focus on the darkness of problems and struggles in life, without appreciating the light that can serve as our guide through happiness. But then, still our choice to imprison ourselves with darkness or to make the use of candle.

Herbal Plants : Let's Cure Ourselves through Natural Made
*A day full of blessings, I woke up with the lovely sounds of raindrops. After half an hour, the rain stopped and I need to get up, I walk around and saw that most of our plants already have flowers. *Since it's a helpful piece, I would like to share what my parents usually use, even in their daily diet. I'm not into taking tablet as a medicine, I prefer to eat fruits, chocolate and water, but these herbals that I will shared are inspired from them.*

Oregano
I honestly don't like the smell of oregano, but did you know that my parents used to put this above our newly cooked rice, imagine how the whole rice inside the rice cooker smells because of that. But then, I told them not to do it again because it ruin my appetite.
Oregano is a natural antibiotics, so my parents use this as their herbal juice. Inside our 1 Liter glass pitcher, they put oregano leaves, slice of lemon, ginger and flower of blue ternate.
Blue Ternate
Blue Ternate or Butterfly pea this is also one of the herbal plant that they usually use. We have this in our backyard before but since my relatives and neighbors always cut it's branch, then it died.
Asde from herbal juice my parents also put this in their coffee, or in a hot water wherein they will soak it's flower for 5 minutes then they will eat it; chewing the flower like a goat.
Guava Leaves
We use guava leaves in doing bath after recovering from fever. My mom will prepare a mild temperature of water mixed with these guava leaves. It feels good, just you smell like guava leaves after bath.
In some cases my parents use this when they have back pain
Aloe Vera
This is commonly known for hair growth until the studies about this plant widen, now this was use as moisturizer or anything that you can use in skin care. I cannot use it for that purposes because we only have 4 plants of Aloe Vera; don't want to scold me if I cut it all.
Another is for juice, I saw my parents making this into a drink added with lemon. They do it to have a proper digestion, also for my mom who wants to loss weight
Mayana Plant

As of now, these are the varieties available in our garden. We used this as decoration but my aunt told us that in province they use this to treat wounds. Just like how we use horseradish or Moringa, we crush it and get it's juice to treat the affected skin; this is also how Mayana works
Tawa-Tawa Plant
This plant is known to cure dengue. When I was a kid my parents are afraid everytime that we have fever, thinking that there's a possibility that it was a dengue. My younger brother once been hospitalized when he is only 5 years old due to dengue. According to my father, he felt pity to my brother being injected multiple times in a day. He told the doctor about tawa-tawa plant but it doesn't agree on him. The next day he pay all our bills in hospital then he carry my younger brother without telling to the doctor and escape in the hospital. In our house my parents use tawa-tawa plant as the water for my brother, and fortunately he was cured and finally recovered.
This plant was featured as the possible cure for covid virus; we don't know these kind of herbal can help us to defeat this virus.

Road to New Literacy
*New literary is a big help not only for students but even to adults, not only for studies but also in work and/or everyday living. This helps us to gain more resources that we can use for an easy and faster work. But although there's a lot of advantages this new literacy give, there are still a lot of disadvantages.*
*Now, I would like to share my experiences before I reached the point of being part in New Literacy.*

If you gonna ask me on what subject I hate the most when I was in Highschool, then I would say ***ICT*** or *Information Communication Technology*. Sounds funny for those who are media literate, but yes I am so weak in media information that time. I remember my classmates, they are so excited when it's our ICT subject, as we always conduct it at Computer Laboratory.
There is a time that we need to make our own gmail and I don't even know what tab to click, fortunately some of my friends are computer inclined so it's them who made my gmail. Since I'm so slow in this subject, even memorizing my own email and password is hard for me; imagine I can memorize all the terms and meaning in our science subject but I cannot in my gmail. At last, Before our school year end I made five different emails.
Another one during my Primary, I was like 8 or 9 years old that time; I don't have any knowledge about gadgets, although I know how a computer looks like. I was chosen to be one of the representative in a school level orientation about ICT Program.
It's already the day of orientation, we go to the event place and fascinated how beautiful their building is. Me and my bestfriend keeps on looking around until both of us are the last student who enter the computer lab. When we enter the room, all units are already occupied, so the speaker told us to go in the next room. You know who's in there? All their staffs and workers, they was like *"oh hi, no more vacant computer? You can use the unit of Ma'am... "* I'm so shy that time, until the speaker start to discuss, and he also said "After this orientation, we are going to test the ability of these students to use the computer" something like this. So what I did, while he is bus discussing, I keep my eyes on the keyboard and memorized all the letters.
After his discussion, they conduct a game for every student; one game is to finish typing the paragraph before the time's out. Because of my adrenaline rush, being nervous, using my both my index finger, I am one of the student who finish it first. *(yeah, sometimes being nervous can help you too)*
For students, New Literacy give more knowledge about sites and applications that can help to improve and make every work easier On the other hand for higher levels, new literacy helps to build their skills and knowledge. A way to enhance their ability to know or locate information that is pertinent to every topic that their teachers are discussing. This give competence when it comes to critically examining material found on the internet, just like identifying reliable resources for assignments or research. This means new literacy improves student's way of learning; by this the more skillful and knowledgable students are, the more good future it will become.
As I observe in this pandemic, not everyone can access the internet, not everyone are able to buy gadgets that they can use for learnings, which leads an effect for those students to struggle, that instead of enjoying their studies, they end up knowing nothing. While for those who can access easily, they/we are vulnerable to online scam or any unreliable resources which persuade us to believe.
Overall it's in our hand how to apply the benefits of new literacy, just we need to bear in our mind to ***"think before you click"***

Dark Side of Human Sacrifices
*Human sacrifices is one of the traditional beliefs of many ancient civilization. Have you heard stories that a bridge, a tourist destination or any establishments are made through the process of human sacrifices?
Way back years ago; It was a normal day, me and my classmate was having chitchats until he lower his voice and said *"I have secret to tell you."* Since it's a kind of interesting to know a secret then I asked him what it is. He stated the our school was build through human sacrifices, that the founder use someone's blood in order to strengthen the foundation of the school. I am just laughing listening to his story, as I know this kind of act is real but centuries ago, in todays I am confident that no one still do this practices.
The next day, since there's no class, I chatted him to ask where did he get the story. He replied that his cousin is an old teacher in our school. They found out that in order to maintain the agreement of human sacrifices, they must sacrifice one student every after 10 years. This became real as they observe that in every 10 years there's a one student missing. Added to his cousin, the founder choose the student through placing all the student's name and the name that will appear is the unlucky one.
My friend also stated some points for me to observe. One of it is, there's no sign of any religious things inside our campus. And also, we never conduct mass inside the campus. I've been studied in five different schools and four of it conduct a monthly mass; there's room for Christians and Muslim. Only one school didn't do this, and that is what I am referring to.
Honestly, the first time I enter the school with my friends is during enrollment period. It was a gloomy morning, not so much people inside. And the first thing I said when we sit in the school's bench is *"Why this place looks cemetery?"*, I really said this because the formation of their pots are like tombs. It was like you're in a village, because the rooms are not arranged in an organized way. There's a big building, just it's looks creepy because only few students, it is quiet, and it's paint is already dirty white.
No matter what will be the truth behind that school's foundation, whether the story is real or not, I am confident that I'm secured. My faith is bigger than this.
Aside from this story, I would like to share one of my favorite ancient tourists' spot, Chichen Itza by Mayan Civilization.
**Mayans** are highly advanced and intelligent civilization, especially in terms of astrology, architecture and numerical system.
Just like other civilizations, Mayans also believed in god and goddess, and sacrificing someone's human body is sacred for them, and to perform this act they have this **Chichen Itza** as their power house. In some ways they do the act of sacrifices by laying down a person, where his eyes looking up in the sky, they will cut his chest and remove one's beating heart. On the other side, they have sacrifices in the form or painting blue color to someone's body before throwing into the well, or after they paint the body they will put some marks like in head and chest, and after shoot them using arrow.
*There's a lot of form of sacrifices, not only about life or human sacrifices. We can have some sacrifices in love, education, work, decision making, etc; just make sure, that decision or person/s is worth sacrificing for.*

Empower and Inspire; Speak Out for the People
*Most of us have already attended some program or orientation, and even church activities where we heard inspirational talk. Someone who will inspired us through his/her own story; someone that can share knowledge and give us some tips on how to improve ourselves.*
*I once dream to be a speaker someday, I honestly not good in giving advices, the reason why it's funny for me to aim about it. Maybe I'm just mesmerized how other speakers can talk fluently and capture their listener's heart and mind.*

My father was chosen to be the speaker for the event of our church this day. They only inform him yesterday, the reason that he was in hurry to ask what will be the format of creating a speech. To sum up everything, he point out the we must first have the topic to focus and end into something that leads our listeners want to ask for more or satisfaction.
There are two sets of people that I will say that the best speaker in the world, then that is our parents and teachers.
My father once told me *"Life is hard when you're poor, people will just ignore you because you don't have something to give. So the two of you(me and my younger brother), you must finish your students and find a good job. Earn not to pull down people, but to help them."*
I saw how sincere my father while saying these words. After he told this, I get a pen and write it on the paper, the exact words that he utter, because I know someday this gonna be my one of my inspiration.
For teachers, they are the second parents of every students. I felt sad that they less appreciate the teachers. I even heard a lot of students saying, taking the course of being a teacher is just so easy, without knowing that it's a struggle.
That's why I am so happy while watching some clips about the Presidential debate, where Prof. Clarita Carlos speak about how many look down the teachers. That according to her, she have this *"bobo"* or daft cousin, someone told her cousin that since this cousin of her is slow learner then he/she must be a teacher. Imagine, having a daft teacher.
These teachers are those who teach and inspire students, they are the everyday inspirational speaker in the class. That's why students like to hear their teachers story in order to gain goodness, but honestly the common reason is that students don't want to have class. (lol)
Lastly, we can be the best speaker of our own thoughts. Push yourself to learn and gain knowledge and wisdom. You don't need any inspirational speaker to listen to, because you yourself will serve as the best speaker of your own selves.

*I have read a lot of articles about the importance of self-love. For me, self-love is the fruit of loving God first, because if you love God then you're doing your best to take care of yourself as you're His living temple.*

5 years ago, we are having bible study and they had invited this missionary from other county. Since she is a nurse at the same, she was focusing her discussion about the proper ways on how we must take care of ourself especially our health. We are separated from boys, they also have their own discussion area, so we are just all girls that time. She asked if we already have boyfriend, then all of us said none, and added that we are still studying.
Hearing our responses, she smile genuinely and said *"I am so proud to all of you, when I was at your age I like to go to a party and have my boyfriend. There's a lot of girls that when they reach teenage they already engage into something that they must not "*
She was asking about how we are, about your studies and anything that we are doing getting to know each other like that. Until she told us that we must treat ourselves as a living diamond.
We know that diamond is the most expensive and precious stone in world, or let us say in the universe, which is the Pink Star Diamond.
Why we must treat ourself as a diamond is that we must set ourself as expensive and precious. Think about a jewelry store, you may see different kinds of stones. These stones are place into it's own label and kind, but one thing that stand out is the box or the glass where the diamond placed in.
Being a woman, we must treat ourselves as a expensive stone, that a poor man can't afford. We are not talking about financial but a man who have the wealth of love, effort and faithful.
If you're a person who loves to read science book, or a student having science subjects; then you know that diamond don't shine on it's own. Light is the main source why it looks shining, we see it's bright by 3 ways; and one of it is the reflection.
In life, the light is our hope. If you cut the hope within yourself then how can other people see you shining? Remember that when someone left you behind being broken hearted, then that's only mean, that person can't afford how expensive you are.
Also, treating yourself as a diamond can also be imply to men, it's not only the girls who are the victim most of the time but also boys.
One of my boy bestfriend was so proud of his gf. We are far with each other, but I can see the happiness that he have through social media. I support his happiness, but I am not 100% sure about the girl as I don't know what kind of woman she is.
One night, my boy bestfriend contact me crying because the girl wants to break up with him. I got curious why it happened that I know my bestfriend is a good person and once he is in a relationship he will only stick to it. I asked him why and he said "Bestfriend, she chat me for the last time. She said "I'm sorry, these are all lies." This means that the girl don't really love my bestfriend, she just came with that relationship for some reason or maybe she don't have a trip.
I felt pity to my bestfriend and scold him at the same. I know that he was hurt but I feel bad that he didn't take care himself as a diamond. At first, I already warn him for falling inlove easily but he didn't listen. Still must be careful.
Lastly, what I want to convey for girls is to protect yourself until the right man work hard to get you. While for boys, build within yourself the love and dedication for success, if you finally found the partner of your life, treat her as a diamond of your life.

***What Made You Smile Today?***
Many. There's a lot of reason and persons who made me smile today. Just like earlier, when I woke up I made my short prayer, open the bible to read Holy words before starting the day, and after it my mom enter my room kiss my forehead, and asked "Good morning langga. Why you wake up early?". I just smile at her and said "nothing". She don't know that I always wake up early but didn't go out in my room early; I do stretching and replying or reading articles here in read.cash, so sometimes I go out 8 am.
***What Was The Last Good Book You*** **Read?**
**Human Biology and Health by Prentice Hall Science.** I think this was given to us year 2012 by our relatives in Bukidnon. I love science, especially about Biology and Astronomy. This is one of our book that I like to read again and again. This is like a science book for students in primary or secondary. The words and explanations are easy to understand. Actually this is one of the book that inspired me to be a writer. Just imagine that your name was written in a good book. Nothing, just imagining *lol!*
***What do you think is the best show on Netflix right now?***
I don't watch in Netflix and I can't afford it, besides I am not fun of watching movies, series or any show on TV. But I think the answer for this is "All of us are dead", I observed that a lot of users here already watched this, and share there own review which I can't relate because I haven't watch it, but my friends told me to try it because it was worth to watch, and it's available in Facebook. Let me try, this kind of movie is interesting too.
***Have you been on interesting trips lately?***
Yes in my imagination and dreams, but in reality, I haven't. I only stay at home except when there's an important matters to go but if there's none then I just behave at home. Ofcourse, I want to go in an interesting trips with my love ones but I/we need to save first.
***Are you a cat person or a dog person?***
Dog Person. We have 3 cats and 4 dogs at home, but I would say that I'm close with the dogs. Shoutout to those who have sweet cats, because for the past thousand of years, char! We haven't had a sweet cat. They are like the boss in our house, sometimes I'm thinking if I disturb them at home, they are like boarders here. I was in Primary the last time we have a sweet cat, and last year, the cat we found outside but the sad thing is he died after 2 days.

85% Introvert and 15% extrovert, is this already ambivert? I am talkative with my family and close friends, I am comfortable and Jolly being with them. Let's go to the next house
*Earlier, I was talking to my father about the upcoming fiesta in our place; that would be 3 months from now. Why we came with this topic early, is that our church officers decided that after the mass on that day, everyone will gather in our house to eat. This is one of the tradition in any fiesta, that there must be one house that the priest will stay to eat. Actually, we always set our house for that matter, we always gather here until discouragement occur.*
*There are some point of mine that I don't like when our house is choosen is that. I observed that everyone in my family are so busy in preparing the food. Others will say, "don't worry, we will help you in preparing", but at the end it's my parents who are struggling, until it's only me and my grandma who can go to church. I really want us to attend the mass as a complete family, just like how I'm eager for all of us to completely attend the mass during Christmas Eve.*
Way back 3 years ago, after mass everyone gathered in our house to eat. Btw, we didn't cook all the food, but each member of the church have his/her share. Speaking of my title, it is somewhat a tradition for everyone to go in each or different house to eat. All houses are open, and all welcome to eat; unless you're shy to do this like me, I just only stay in our house besides I have something to eat.
But did you know, especially to my co-filipinos here that eating in different houses can give bad effect? I have watched a documentary on TV about a group of friends who eat in different houses during their fiesta, they don't care if they know who's house is it, but the important is that they can eat.
There are three of them, they enter in a house which is somewhat creepy. They eat all the foods prepared on the table, say bye and everything change at night. One of the girl noticed that her sister always wakes up late at night, she thought that it is just normal. Until she observed that her Sister was going out in their house, and when get back she sometimes have blood, smells bad, then have this dirty and pierced clothes.
One night, she hide behind their wall and look what does her sister's doing. To her surprise her sister changed into an 'Aswang'. Again, for those who don't know Aswang is a Philippine mythical creature, who eat flesh of a human. You can check here is you want to know more about it. https://cryptidz.fandom.com/wiki/Aswang
The next day she saw that there's a body part of a baby outside their house. Because of her panic, she immediately dig a hole and buried it so no one can see. She asked her sister on what's happening to her, and it said that she can't control herself during night.
They asked help to those who are expert in this case, and finally they found out that the girl unconsciously eat a black stone which lead her to become an Aswang. They also conclude that maybe it's in the last house that they visit during fiesta. Lastly, they successful get it out from her body; she vomit and with it there's this black stone. They buried it, and they are starting to live again peacefully.
Why I shared this one is to remind everyone not to eat in other's house during fiesta. *Charr! Just joking*. I just want to remind us that we must be careful in engaging with other people, especially when you don't know who he/she is and even the place you are in.This story might be real or not, but at the end this still teach us that We should be careful in our actions,as it might lead for a lifetime problem.

**How did you get here in "READ CASH"?**
It started when I first discovered noise.cash through searching 'free earning app/site' in YouTube. During that time I'm busy with five other earning apps; yes my storage is almost occupied with earning apps and online wallets. To make it short, these five earning apps waste my effort and time, I really do my best to reach the minimum payout but I observed that they only give very few tips the reason that you will spend 6-8 months before cashing out. It is somewhat like a scam, so I download another three apps that pay Bitcoin, by this I discover that there is what we called "cryptocurrency", I spent 2 weeks in that three apps until I finally cash out, but to my surprise it's only equivalent to 7php. Wow! Another waste of time.
So I keep on searching until I discover noise.cash, I enjoy staying there until I read post about read.cash. According to the post if we want to earn more then we must try read.cash. During that time I am one of those users who stop recieving tips. After a months; it took me months before creating one because as I shared before that the first time I enter read.cash, all the articles are about cryptocurrencies, and I don't have much idea about it. Until I saw some posts sharing about their daily life, then I discover that I can try my luck too as I love to write*(literally write*). Finally, I made my account and blessed to reach 6 months and counting
**How Challenging it is as a writer that need to write article everyday?**
On my first month here, I don't write article everyday, I published articles every after three days. I don't know why but my feeling during the time is it's really not easy to complete one article in a day. I do care of what will be the reaction of my readers than my own earnings. But now, since there's a lot of expenses, I do my best to publish 5-6 articles in a week, kicking to reach 6 articles. I don't want to post article during Sunday because it's my time to rest, family day and Church day; except yesterday I still post as I need to earn to fix a problem. But hopefully this week I can manage everything.
But about the question itself, it's not that easy especially when you want to make an article which other users can gain knowledge from it. In my case I really love to read daily blogs, but I don't like to write daily blogs. Although I like to share throwback memories, but just something that I can sum up.
I don't know if you guys experience being stress, if you don't have something to write. But me, I really do, although I mostly comment "*Take yourself time to rest", lol* I can't apply it to myself. I'm trying to work smart than hard, but sometimes Destiny testing me.
**How did "READ CASH" help you?**
In terms of earning financially, read.cash help me to help others. I don't have a work and I'm still a student. I have my mini business together with my mom, but still it's not enough, especially these days.
But aside from this, read.cash help me to have online friends who became my online family. What's good about read.cash is there's no bushing. Writing Journey : My Way Getting Back on Track
*Every journey to success is not easy, just like here in read.cash we face challenges but the result is on how we react towards it. For now, I want to share about my read.cash and to at least give hope especially to those newbie to strive more. This will not all about earnings but the dedication to stay.*

Staying here for 6 months is a great achievement. As of now I am blessed to have have these 22 sponsors. Let me show them once again,
I'm so lucky that there are users who support and inspire me to strive more. I remember when I'm just new here, I do my best to engage with other users but most of them ignore me. But I'm not sad because during that time these five users **Bloghound, Mictoranni** and **ARTicLEE** supported me, after few days **Gaftekloriginal** and **Codename_Chikakiku**. I will never forget and always introduce their name because they are one of the major reasons why I'm still here. Cinderella Story : Movie vs. Book
*Disney movies is part of our childhood, because of this we are able to know Princesses such as Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel from The Little Mermaid, and others. These Princesses' love stories may differ, but one thing they always have in common is that "they live happily ever after."*
*But did you know that storylines in Disney movies, such as Cinderella, are not the same as ones in books? Now I would like to share the difference of these two; this isn't meant to ruin your childhood, but rather to show you where the Cinderella movie was inspired.*

In the movie
*(****I've seen the Disney film Cinderella several times, so the narration you'll read here is based on what I recall; pardon me if I forget some importar details.)***
There was a beautiful lady named Cinderella living together with her stepmother and 2 ugly stepsisters. Her mother died at the very young age, the reason why her father married again but unfortunately it die years after. Her stepmom and stepsisters are cruel and trear her a servant in their house. She stay in the attic together with her friends mice and birds.
One day, the Prince invite all the ladies to a grand ball as he was going to choose who will be his wife. Every ladies in the town are so excited including Cinderella and her stepsisters. Since they don't want Cinderella to go at the Kingdom, they give her a lot of chores. Cinderella wasn't able to fix her dress for the party, but then after she finished cleaning the entire house, she go to attic and surprise that her friends fixed it for her. Cinderella was so happy and go downstairs, but her stepsisters get angry and destroy her gown.
They left Cinderella alone while crying until a fairy godmother appear. The fairy godmother fixed Cinderella's outfit, give her pair of glass slippers and carriage, so she can go to the ball but to make sure that she need to go home before midnight. At the kingdom, Cinderella catches everyone's attention including the Prince. It asked her for a dance, and everyone was looking at them, even her stepsisters who are so agry without knowing that it was her. Cinderella was enjoying her moment with the Prince until she saw the clock almost 12 am. She immediately run outside the kingdom while the Prince run after her. The Prince haven't reached Cinderella, but he saw that Cinderella left the pair of her glass slipper.
The next day, the Prince look for Cinderella by asking every ladies in the town to wear the slipper, and he will marry the lady who is perfectly fit on it. He sent his Grand Duke to search in every house until it reached Cinderella's house. The stepsisters failed to fit it until the Duke call Cinderella and it fit perfectly. Because of this, they bring Cinderella in the Kingdom, the Prince marry her and they live happily ever after.
In the book
(***The information that I am going to share in this part are based on my learnings in my former subject 'Children Literature', featuring Cinderella by Grimm Brothers.)***
Just like in the movie, Cinderella have a wicked stepmother and stepsisters who always abuse her. Her father is alive but always not home because of businesses trip. One day his father asked everyone on what gift they want to recieved from his next trip, the stepsisters who was describe as a beautiful ladies, asked for beautiful and expensive stuffs while Cinderella only ask for a twig from a tree.
When their father arrived after a business trip, Cinderella recieve the twig and bring it in their backyard where the grave of her mother located. She plant the twig beside the grave and watered it using her tears. Soon the twig grows into a tree and hears every prayers and pain of Cinderella.
One day, the Prince invite everyone to a party but the stepmother didn't allow Cinderella to go. Unlike in Disney movie which have fairy godmother, Cinderella in the book go to the tree and said;
Little tree, Little tree
Shake over me
So that silver and gold
May come down and over me.
After this, the birds came carrying a nice dress with silver and gold jewelries, also a golden shoes.
*Fast forward*
At the party, she amazed everyone including the Prince. The party last for 3 nights; on the first and second night, the Prince told Cinderella that he will bring her home but Cinderella refuses. On the third night, the Prince make a plan to catch Cinderella's secret, she put sap on the path, and fortunately this trap Cinderella's shoes why she left it.
The Prince get the shoes and the next day they go to every houses to search the owner. They reached Cinderella's house and the stepsisters eagerly wants to fit the shoe. The older stepsister didn't fit it, so they go inside the room to cut her toes. Finally it perfectly fit and the Prince Prince suppose to bring her in the Palace but it noticed that there's a blood. The Prince saw that they just tricked him, so the younger stepsister try her luck but it doesn't fit too, so she go inside and cut her heel. It perfectly fit, but the Prince discover that they are just lying. Finally Cinderella came and perfectly fit the shoes. The Prince bring her to the Palace and on the day of their wedding the stepsisters attend but because the birds are angry they peck out their eyes.

What do you see as your best character trait?
Being a human diary. Honestly, I am not good in giving advices, sometimes when someone share his/her problems I became speechless, especially when I'm also suffering in that same problem, but one thing I can assure is I am always there to listen no matter how long it is. I've been thinking that maybe one of my purpose in life is to be there when a person needs someone to talk.
When I got in college I have these group of friend. They have different characteristics but there's one thing that they are all common, and that is they secretly talk to me about their problems. And those problems that they have shared are always written in my heart and mind, and never ever share to anyone. I also have these 3 classmates, we are not close but I don't know why they open up their problems and tell the reason why they will stop in studies.
That's why, if I can relate myself to an object, I would say that I am like a diary. Just open up your happiness and problems in me and I will surely keep it forever as a secret, it's only between you and me. Maybe I can't help to solve it, but I'm there to listen and lessen your pain.
What mistake did you learn the most from?
Being kind to much. I do believe that kindness is next to love, but as I grow I realized that there are people who don't deserved kindness. I mean, we should be kind to everyone, but if you see a person who didn't change or just to improve him/herself then don't tolerate.
I will highlight those people who likes to borrow money. It is really good to help people who are in need but then the problem is, most of them don't know how to pay back. Sometimes it's them who get angry. Just like in my case when I was in highschool, I always save from my allowance so I can help my classmates when they need money. But then, one of my classmate abuse it, she borrow 1k($20) which I save for how many months because I only have little allowance, I even sacrifice my fair, but she didn't pay it back. Because of that, my parents didn't allow me to help others in terms of money.
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
Love. Love is everything, it's a representation of our Almighty God. Once you love a person then every good thing will follows. But, saying to the person how much you love him/her is not enough, you must prove it through your actions as Actions speak louder than words.
You can love a thousand of people but you can only be inlove to a one person. So in terms of relationship, especially for those who are just single, choose a person who is in love with you. This will turns him/her for being faithful than being a loyal.
I have seen a lot of videos about force marriage, those girls that are crying because it's not their will to be in that situation. I know this is other's culture and tradition but I really don't see genuine love on this. While those parents who push their daughter to be in this situation is like pushing them to be a rape victim.
But again, love is the most important element in this world; because of love we are created and because of love our life have a purpose. And in relationship, love must be keep on burning until your last breath in this world.

I was 7 years old when I met this boy named Jack*(not his real name),* he is one of the bullies in our school. Everytime there's a fight he is always on the list, and our teachers always scold him and his group of friends because of how hard headed they are.
One day, I don't know what's on his mind but he followed me up to the gate, I look at the back and saw him smiling at me. I raise my brows and then he do this "*pogi pose"*
I look at him confused but he just look back and go to his way home. After that incident, we go back being strangers. One year had passed we became classmate, still stranger to each other until our adviser told us to present a dance intermission. I'm active in both academic and extracurricular activities that time so I joined without knowing that he joined too. On our first day of practice, our dance instructor told us to gather in covered court, but since forgot to bring my wallet*(I think*) I go back in the classroom. I was busy in my bag when I saw him in the door looking at me. He move closer and I feel nervous as there's only two of us in the room. When he is in my front, he bow down and fix his shoelace. After that he look and smile again, then he go to the covered court. I'm just following at him but when we reached, our instructor welcome us by saying *"Okay you two are partners".* Unfortunately, I don't have a choice, and that presentation is our first dance. Btw, we never talk to each other that time, we are still like stranger during practice.
Since he don't like to study and always wants a fight. He was moved to a lower section and we didn't became classmates again. He still see me joining different contest while I still seeing him in guidance office because of how silly he is.
We reached highschool and I almost forgot about him. One day, our adviser told us to be careful as there are outsider who are throwing stones, and there is a one student in the other section who was hit by the stone. The next morning, lunchtime, I plan to go in the canteen. I was walking alone, until there's a boy walking ahead of me carrying a shoulder bag. He really looks attractive, his uniform is so plain, white and clean. I was staring at him thinking that he looks like a rich kid. I look in his hair and it's so healthy, until I observed the bandage on his head. I was like *"oh he is the boy our teacher referring to".* I don't know what happened to me, I was mesmerized looking at his bandage, until I didn't notice that I'm closer to him. He stop, look back and saw me staring at him
*"Its Jack!"* Just like what he used to do, he didn't say anything and continue to walk. But I can feel how hot my face, turning red.
*Fast forward*
Second year highschool, when he start courting me proper. Everyday he always do something just for me to notice him, until our whole batch know about us. He was known being a bad boy in our campus but he is so kind to me. I'm 17 years old that time, so I wait one year, that I reach legal age before I said yes to him.
Weeks after I reached 18, I said yes to him and he was so happy that he can't sleep at night. Lol!
I told him to keep our relationship secret as I have a strict father. He agreed but after days he told me that he wants to face my parents and he already told about us to his parents. I was so nervous yet so happy of what he said, so I talk to my mom and she start to cry
Mom : I don't have baby anymore
Me : ehhh Maa
Mom : who is your boyfriend?
Me : Jack
Mom : Jack?
Me : Jack F....
Mom : What! Why him?
Yeah, my mom also know how bad boy he is. But then Jack proved to them that his intention for me is good. We became open to everyone, they are so happy and support our relationship. But just like mom when I told my other friends about us they was like *"What! He is a bad boy" "Why him? He bullied me before"*
Being together, he changed from being a bad boy to a god-fearing. His friends even said that he stop doing bad things. He is also a band vocalist, during college he compose a song for me and present it during Valentine's competition; they win the first place btw. I also discovered that he likes me since we are Primary, just afraid to talk to me as I only focus on my studies.
Until one night almost 10 pm, he chat me that he is the other street and want to see me. His home is like 1 hour travel from our home, so I'm confused why he went in our place that late. Unfortunately, I didn't meet him, the next morning he wait me in our school gate. After class I saw him with his friend, he is smiling at me. He told me that we need to talk, so we went to his friend's boarding house.
Then he said ***"Ling, I made a big mistake. My ex girlfriend is pregnant and I'm the father"***
And that's our fairytale ended:)

I've mentioned in my previous article that I really hate boys when I was in my few years in Elementary, until I reach grade four and realized that boys being friends is fun.
I have this seatmate, it is common in our school to arrange students alphabetical, and alternate it to boy-girl-boy-girl. This is our school's technique to manage the noise inside the room. Since I don't have a choice, I sit next to this boy named Ray. I don't have a problem in him, he is just quiet and clean.
Days passes by, we became close to each other until I found out that he is a kind person. Until our school year ends, and on the next year he is in other section. We don't talk anymore, and that ends our friendship.
*Fast forward*
It's the last school year of being in Primary. I've met a lot of friends already. One day, one of my classmate shouted "*Guys Riza and his boyfriend is at the back of their classroom holding hands together!"* I don't know who is Riza that time but my mind was thinking what kind of a girl she is, she is too young to have a boyfriend and it's a Big NO-NO in our school.
But guess what, this Riza became my bestfriend, the ultimate one, until now she's still my bestfriend and I'm soon to be the godmother of her son. I also discover that her bf that time is Ray, so it means it's Ray whom my classmate refering too. I asked her why she like Ray and she said "*He is caring and sweet"*
(*Back to my story*) I'm already first year highschool, and Ray became my classmate. We talk and became friends again, but then I noticed that he became so carrying, not only in me but to all his friends. Everyday he comb my hair, and fix my hairband, clips or anything I put on. She always check my uniform if it was still plain and clean. He like to put me powder and perfume; do I look like haggard? Btw, just like a mom, he also scold me if I did wrong.
I'm also a fan of Barbie movies that time. Surprisingly, he talks about it and I asked if he likes Barbie movies. He said yes and what's more, he memorized all the songs of every Barbie movies. Just like these;
Maybe some of you think that he is a gay, but not. He is a member of Sipak Takraw and Basketball. Actually, he acts like a mother to his girl friends while a father to his boy friends. Everytime his friends are playing, he is always on the side shouting what they must to do and even make a plan for the play, the reason why we call him "*coach"*, until now.
Aside from this, he also an honest person. Just like when we are in first year college, he was having this secret relationship. Until the parents of this girl found out that they are staying in a boarding house after class. Her gf already told him to deny what will the question of her mom, and he agree on this.
The time came, the girl's mom talk to the both of them and asked if they are staying in a boarding. The girl said *"no",* but when the mother asked Ray she nervously said *"Yes Ma'am".* And that's the end of their relationship.

Day of Hearts in School Day
*Can you still remember what kind of Valentine's day does your previous school have? For those students, can you still remember how Valentine's day goes when there was no pandemic, and having face-to-face class?*
*Since I enjoy reading articles about love, then I would like to share how my former school celebrate Valentine's day, I've been in a private and public school but I will only share our moments in public* school. So, let's get started!

First Year Highschool
I can still remember my first Valentine's day in highschool, I got irritated because "*why there's a class, it should be holiday!" lol* So btw, it still goes fun still. It is common to us to present jingle everytime our teacher came in, imagine we have 8 subjects with different teachers each a day, and we are going to welcome them with a 5 minutes jingle. Since it's a Valentine's day, we have this "harana" singing love song to them when they enter our class.
There's no discussion that will happend, as we are going to conduct a short program inside the classroom. We tell our subject teacher to sit in front, we will sing a song, give that teacher some token of gifts, letter that everyone of us are obliged to make. 8 teachers so 8 cards, don't worry we mostly copy paste our message.
Second Year Highschool
Our school level up, before Valentine's day they announced that there's a clothing motif; what color you will wear is your Valentine's status. These are the examples :
**Red** - inlove
**White** - it's complicated
**Blue** - friendzone
**Pink** - Mutual Understanding
**Brown** : Broken Hearted
**Black** - "There's no forever"
**Uniform** - "Don't care, I'm a god/goddess"

We also likes to give flowers to every teachers we met, those flowers our from our garden in school. Our Principal get angry because after February 14, no more flowers left in school.
I also remember we have this love chain, you will just pay 5php and write the name of the person you want to be with. Then the SSG(*Supreme Student Government*) will catch that person, and tie his/her hand with you, then oth of you will walk around the school field. We also have blind date, still you will pay 5php, and they will catch the person you like to be with.
Third Year HighSchool
Finally, we have our program. The King and Queen of Hearts. It's open for all, competition is not by year level but based on those who want to join individually. It consist of two parts; one is the pageant with clothing portions, while the other one involves money, 50% will be put to school renovation.
Everyone of us are so excited, since we have poor in facilities, we need to carry our wooden chair to our covered court. Lucky for those girls who have someone that will carry their chair, or those who have friends that will help them. If none, you're going to get stress, so heavy and the covered court is so far, near our gate:D
Fourth Year Highschool
I already transfer in different school, a semi-private. We also have program in school the King and Queen of Hearts pageant. But since I felt lonely in that school, although I have my set of friends. I didn't attend.

Let's Travel Some Scary Places
*Our world is full of beautiful places, it can be tourists spots which are naturally made or those that are human made. But behide this beauty, there are also scary places that we can found in different part of this world.*

Village of Nagoro, Japan
This place is also called Kakashi No Sato*(Scarecrow Village)* made by Tsukimi Ayano. Tsukimi spent years in Osaka, but when she returned in Nagoro she felt sad that the 300 residents are only 30 left, some of them died while some transferred in different places.

Curious what will be the hell look like? Then try to visit the Door to Hell, one of the top tourists attraction in Turkmenistan.
This is the Darvasa Gas Crater but commonly known as the Door to Hell. Because toxic methane gas was leaking into the atmosphere, scientists decided to light the crater on fire, anticipating that the gas would only burn for a few weeks but then crater are still burning fifty years later.
Suicide Forest, Japan
Still in Japan, they have this suicide forest intended for those people who want to end their life. Inside the forest you can see strings that are tied in trees, this are made by those people who are planning to commit suicide, that once they change their mind they have the string as a guide to go out in forest, but most people didn't come back and end their life. This is a quiet place and no internet connection.
Since the suicide rate in Japan is increasing and become alarming, their Goverment made some actions toward this. They put some signs inside the forest to remind them how precious their life is. Since this is not enough, they also sent some patrols.
Hanging Coffins of Sagada, Philippines
Philippines have a lot of scary and mystery places, just like what Sis ***Jeansapphire39*** she shared about their trip in Enchanted river. This place is believe to be the home for Encantos, spiritual entity who live like an ordinary human. But now, I'll just share the place in Sagada
According to a documentary that I've watched before(*sorry if I cannot share the name of that documentary, I forgot it)*, the people living in Sagada follow their old traditions of burying their dead. When their family member die, they place the body into a coffin, sometimes a small coffin that they need to break the bones of the dead just to fit in, and place it into a higher place. They believe that the more high their coffin placed, then more higher the possibility that they can enter the Kingdom afterlife.

To our parents and grandparents
If there is someone that we must give lots of appreciation next to God, then that is our parent/s and grandparents. They give so much love and sacrifices. For them we can give something that they need or like. For example your dad need a new shoes for work, then if you have budget why not to give him. For what they like, example, your mom loves jewelry, then why not to give her necklace.
To the whole family
For moms and dads out there, I think food is the best gift that you can give to the whole family. This will lead to a family bonding, and that your kids will learn the importance of heart's day. They will realized the important of giving love. We don't know when they grow up they will also do the same to you
To your partner
For those you have bf/gf or married already, it's you who knows what's the best gift that you can give to your partner. It's you who knows his/her wants and needs. Just make sure to give it with love, not just you give it because you need to but because you meant it.
To yourself
Selflove is a must. If there is no one who can give you something for that special day, then why to gift yourself. You work hard, you struggle a lot, you cry a lot, then it's better to give yourself something special. Go to the places you like, buy the things that you want.

**Flower** (if you have budget then choose red rose, it represents love and beauty)

When I was in elementary we have this mini fish pond and it have a lot of Molly Fish, different sizes and types. Since there's a lot of fish pet vendors beside our campus, I decided to buy another kind of fish which is the gold fish and fighting fish. I don't have an idea that fighting fish is really a fighter and that golden is a sensitive one. I put them all together in our pond until the next day I saw some of our fish died.
At that very young of age, I'm thinking that the souls of my fish are looking at me and feel bad that I didn't protect them; because of that emotion I want them to give a proper burial. I dig a hole in the back of our house, place a leaf, then put above it our dead fish, bury with a sand, I lend a short prayer, put a stone, mark a cross, and lastly a flower from my mom's plant:D
Maybe some of you here think that this funny, but I really do it heartedly when I was a kid. Until, when I reached in highschool, I realized that maybe heaven and hell is just for humans, while animals will blow-up like a bubble.
The closest animals to humans are these dogs and cats. When I was like a month old here, I read an article which the author flex her pet dogs, I leave a comment which I already forgot but I can still remember her reply that is something like this *"I treat my pets right, because someone told me that when they are in heaven, it's them who will talk to God to protect me."*
If you ask if animals have souls? In some beliefs will answer it '*yes*'. Just like Hindus, they believe that animals have souls but after death it will go to the process of reincarnation.
I have read the piece Mosquitoes by Lafcadio Hern, an essay on Karmic Effect and Beliefs in Reincarnation. This esssy states about how we care for ourselves but we unconscious give ourself trouble by doing some our beliefs and tradition. This also states that when a bad person die he will reincarnate into a mosquito.
I have have this former classmate, we are having our discussion until..
**Teacher** : *What will you do now class, you all have low grades?*
**One Student** : *move on to the next life*
**Him** : *Then you're already a dog next life*
*And yes there are also some beliefs like this; a person can be reincarnate into an animal.*
In the Holy teachings, there's no direct statement which prove that animals go to heaven after they die, but there are passages that shows animals are part of heavenly world. Just like in the Bible, God represent Jesus into a lamb wherein a dove represents the Holy Spirit. Another thing, God shows the garden of Eden as a perfect place, a paradise with plants and animals. According to Christian beliefs, if God represent the Garden of Eden as a perfect place, then for sure in heaven there's also animals; and maybe our pets.
*For you, do animals have souls? No matter what will be our answer, we should put in our mind that animals have feelings, that they need love and care; so if you can't give it to them then just don't hurt them.*

The Black Magic
*Do you believed in black magic? If you asked your grandparents or even your parents who came from province then maybe they will said "yes". Black magic is the other term that we can use in referring evil power, or those ability that someone can perform by the help of demonic rituals and/or agreement to a demon.*
*Why I came up with this topic is because of how my conversation with my bestfriend goes when I visited her yesterday. This topic may be sensitive especially for those who don't believe black magic, but my point here is to share the reality of old ages beliefs.*

Yesterday I went to my bestfriend's house because she asked me to help her about the upcoming baptism of her son. Since I want to plan it personally, as it's hard to explain in chat so I decided to go in their house. When I enter in their gate, she was looking at me with a sad face saying "*Baby J is sick"*
I'm sad on Baby J's situation but I told her nothing to worry, maybe it's because of changing weather that we experiencing these days. Until, when it's already noon while I'm preparing for lunch she asked me *"Do you believe in black magic?"*. I look at her and said yes, ofcourse black magic exist it's for the people who do demonic rituals. I was curious why she asked it, so she explained that they are from her grandma's house, and she was already bedridden because of how old she is. Her grandma is paralyzed, cannot move and cannot talk but they know that she can hear, and it response through lifting her finger.
According to her uncles and aunties, maybe the reason why their mom is still alive is that it is looking for someone to transfer the black magic. I laugh when after I heard it because what kind of persons who will talk like this to their parent. My bestfriend added that her grandma is a healer in their province, and when I asked her if she feel or saw unusual things to her grandma before then she said *"Nothing, we are not together for so long. But when we visited her before I observed that she woke up 3 am or 4 am doing something. I can't see it. Snce I know that shes a healer then Im thinking that maybe she is preperaring herbals"*
My bestfriend added *"when she started to be in bedridden my uncle (the owner of the house where her grandma stay after her sick became worst) always hear footsteps in the middle of the night."* No one dare to look what or who is it; sometimes this happened when the only person in the house is her uncle and her grandma who is paralyzed.
For her, one possible reason why her son having a high fever is because she bring it to see her grandmother. We have thia what we called "*gi kugos"* means to carry, this is the belief that when a baby get a high fever while visiting his/her deceased grandparent's funeral or house then this means that grandparent is carrying the baby.
I've been in this situation when I was a baby, my parents bring me to my mom's grandfather's funeral in the province. My parents said that I got a high fever and since they are afraid that I will get convulsion they bring me to the nearest city to find hospital, but the moment our van passed their area, my fever miraculously gone. They conclude that my great grandfather carry me.
In other's belief one of the reason why this happened is because of the black magic, when a person having a black magic die, they will show up to their relatives to carry them in other world; but I highly believed that this things doesn't run in our family. Lol!
Back to my bestfriend's grandmother. Some said that she knows about supernatural entity "*aswang*", which is already impossible in these days. This entity believed that will not die unless they already transferred their black magic to someone.
*One thing for sure, God's power can defeat black magic. No matter what will happened prayer is the best solution to defeat demonic realms. It's a natural reaction of our mind to get scared but bear in mind God is with us.*

Epic Fail Varsity Player
*Yesterday we have this Bible Study in our church; time for all the members to gather, time to met my bestfriends again. We only do this twice a month so every after the Bible study, my bestfriends always stay in our house for chitchats. We talked a lot of matters until we came up into the topic of funny moments during our school days.*
*I mostly listen to their stories as when we reached fourth year highschool I already transferred in other school, we keep on laughing until I shared to them my situation when I transferred in a private school.*
*Now I would like to share it too here; my experience when I joined sports club(Women Basketball) in my fomer school.*

Transferring in other school is hard, but in my case it became smooth as some of my classmates in my previous school also transferred there. Although it's a new environment, but I already have a set of friends.
2 months to go before our intramurals, varsity players in different clubs start to have their training. Sometimes they are exempted in classes while sometimes they dismiss early as they need to train in the afternoon. Me and my friends don't have a sports club, I'm a chess Player in our former school but since we are not yet known then they didn't approach. It's a private school and every clubs have a fixed number of members, although some of my friends wants to join but still they can't, the old members is the priority.
Why clubs don't accept new members except when you're pro Player, is that they train those students from first year high school, while some started when they are just elementary; yes the school have nursery to senior highschool. Those players are representative in Intramurals event and the school level competition. Win or lose during Intrams, if your club adviser want you then he/she will still list your for the school level representatives.
1 month before the Intramurals, the school principal announced that there's gonna be a new sports club which is the Basketball for Women. A lot of old players want to join the club but since there should be only one club for a student then the moderator for Women Basketball search for her own team.
One of the transfee in our class is the cousin of the Women Basketball's moderator, she is one of our close friend. During dismissal she talkto us and asked if we are interested to join the club. I'm a fan of a Barangay basketball, especially that my father is a good Player and our house is located beside a basketball court, but I never play it because my father is angry at me when he saw that I'm holding a ball. For him, basketball is not for girls; just I felt that he don't want me to be a lesbian. Lol!
I immediately said yes when she asked it and all of us in our squad list our name. She remind us that there's gonna be a tryout. I don't know why my heart really wants to join although I only know how to dribble and nothing more, but still I join the tryout. Because I'm so nervous during the tryout, seems like my body move it's own, I don't know how to dribble while running but during the game I did it. Finally she choose 12 among us, only 15 join the tryout and luckily I was chosen.
I keep this as a secret to my parents, because for sure they will scold me. 3 weeks to go before the Intramurals and we need to train hard. Every dismissal we have our training up to 6;30 pm; I only tell my parents that we have practice in our club; they thought that I am practicing first-aid as I'm a red cross member but they didn't know I already join basketball. *Lol!*
On our first day of training our moderator command us to run around the field 10 round, a very big field. We was like *"I think we are going to die!"*, especially me that I'm a kind of modest in action. So when I got home my whole body start to pain, it was so heavy, I can't even stand because both my feet are aching. I am the one who cook for our dinner, so what I did so that my father won't see me suffering is I'm always sitting when he is around, and struggling to walk when he is not around. The next day I only commute, and another struggle on how I can ride the motor as can't left up my leg, so I carry it using my hands.
1 week before the game, they announce again that we need to pay almost 2,000($ 39.16) for our T-shirt and jersey. I was so surprised that time, I didn't expect that it cost so big, I only have few savings.
Because of that, I have no choice and tell it to my parents. They are so angry at me especially my father. I remember our conversation goes like this, we are eating dinner that time.
**Father** : *What!? You're so hard headed, I already told you not to join basketball. You're going to faint in your training*.
**Me** : *I already trained for almost two week*
**Father** : *Huh! Nooo, back out in that club!*
**Me** : *Our game will be next week(while crying)*
**Father** : *why you just said this now?*
**Me** : *Because I need 2k*
**Father** : *What!*
*Fast forward, father give me money. I joined the basketball league, we also compete in different school.*
**Moral lesson : I will not join basketball again.**

*Editing is one of a fun idea on how to enhance our creativity. Since I'm a fan of art,I tried to search some apps that serve as my tools in editing. The apps that I am going to share are only those that I already used. Some here already know this apps, but still I want to share this for those who need it.*

Apps for editing
Canva
I observed that a lot of users here are using Canva. If you want to create a presentation either photo or video, then this app is the best. Simple and easy to use; it have free templates, stickers, gifs and sounds. Best for school, work and occasion; If you're fun of editing then you better install this one.
PicsArt
This one may a bit complicated to use but if you're expert in editing then this app is the best for you. I usually use this when I need to crop photos as it will still give you a good quality, unlike other app or the phone itself, it will make the photo blurry. Like Canva, this also have free stickers, templates and gifs, while you can also edit your videos. For unlimited usage, you need to pay for the subscriptions, besides if you don't like to pay you can still use a lot of it.
Remini
This is a face photo enhancer, that will turns your blurry photos(selfie, groufie, as long as human faces) into clear and sharper look. Best for those who don't have a clear camera. Easy to use; as you open the app you will select photo, choose from your gallery, wait for the ads, then click ready to process your photo, within a seconds you will see the good result.
I observe that if you only use it for free, you only have 5 free trials, once it's gone you can wait for it to restore and have your 5 more trials again, no worry as you can still save it. If you don't like ads, and wants to have a fast processing and unlimited usage then you can pay 36php($ 0.70) good for one week while 685php($ 13.40) for one year.
Background Changer
If you're struggling on how to make your background good then you can use this app. You don't need to worry on how to trace your body as the app will do it for you, but you can still fix it when you're not satisfy with the outcome. Once it's done you can choose photos from the Google or in your own gallery.
StoryLab
Are you fun of creating messenger or IG stories? This app was made for that purpose. You can edit your photos using templates, stickers and fonts. Easy way to give your photos motion and creative designs.

This app will show you a millions of photos and short clip videos that will give you an idea on how to make a design. You can search anything that you like, even about foods, places, dresses, sunset, etc. You can also post your own photos and videos, to let others see your works.
In terms of editing, you can search ideas about a certain topic or theme that you want. Also the background and templates. For those who likes to draw, paint or create different crafts; you can try this one, it can give you a big help.

I will say yes in front of that person who ordered me but I will not do it. Killing someone that I love is like killing myself. But, the reason why I said yes is for my own security. I don't want to use any money or things from him. When this scenario turns, that I'm a poor, I will still not use his money, I know what manner this kind of person have, it will only give problem to me.

I'm guilty with this one. So I will just share the scenario why we did it .
At the end of the school year we have this clearances, we need to have the signature of all our subject teachers, club moderators, prefect discipline, guidance and lastly the principal. During that time, teachers are divided into two types; One are those teachers who became invisible, you already search the whole campus but still none. While the other one are those teachers who always say "*bring flower pot", "bring concrete block"* and a lot of requirements before signing.
We have this teacher who always asked a lot of requirements, first she want this, then after another one, so when all of us finally comply all her requirement, we gathered all our clearances for her to sign it but we can't find her. She is only one who haven't sign yet in all our subject teachers. We got irritated, so we copy her signature and passed to Principal's office; all done.

Maybe that person hate one of us, the reason why he/she have this dubious feeling of inviting. So I will asked that friend on what's the problem, or if I did something wrong before. Besides, I don't want to go in an occasion with a heavy heart.

I woke up with the noise of clangor, I look on my left side and there's a white wall. On my right side is a cabinet who blocked me from a door, while in my front is an old model tv; seems like I'm in a room. I sit on my bed and saw a man, like the age of 47-50, he told me *"Get up now, we will start to work"*, I immediately get up and saw a man outside holding a hammer.
Where I am? Who are you?
Lol! That's how I woke up earlier, we are renovating our room the reason why I'm sleeping in our sala. Then that man who talked to me is my father, while the one holding a hammer is a worker.
