I know most of us spent our childhood playing a lot of games. Common games are hide and seek, chasing, chinese garter, playhouse and many more. But, have you tried a horror game? Let's just exclude online games, as this one is common now, but those games that you play while interacting your childhood playmates.

For today's article, I will share those horror games that we played when I was young. If you guys have games like this, you can share it too:)

Bilog na Buwan

This is the common game that we like to play. We will create a big circle in the sand and divide it into four by creating another Cross or X at the center of the circle; this serves as the four rooms inside the house. After that each player will do Paper Scissors Rock, or what we commonly called "Bato-bato Pick". The Player who will lose will serve as the aswang; the Mythical creature who can eat humans(I already shared this in some of my articles).

The remaining players will act as a family, so they will stay inside the house. When everyone was ready, the Aswang will knock the door, holding a stick; and this is how the conversation of the game;

Aswang : Accept this gift that I prepare for your family [give the stick]

Player 1(serve as the father of the family) : Thank you! Where do you live?

Aswang : at the cemetery

Player 1: who is your mom?

Aswang : white lady

Player 1 : who is your father?

Aswang : kapre(a strong entity who live in the big trees, they have bad odor and likes to smoke)

Player 1 : who is your sister?

Aswang : vampire

Player 1 : who is your brother?

Aswang : zombie

And after that the Aswang will enter the house(the circle you've created), and chase everyone. This Aswang can only walk in the lines, and everytime he/she touch your body you're going to be an Aswang too. So the winner is the last to stand.

The Old Woman Story

This kind of a trick game that you can only do once to your playmate. Of course if you done doing it, then he/she already know what's the next. This was only telling a story to a friend and the goal is to scare or shock a friend. The story that you're going to share will go like this;

There was an old woman who beg for food. She was a beggar and always bring a sack at her back. Her right hand was cut, and it was only covered with a cloth. One day, Peter met the old woman, he saw it wearing dirty clothes and tired. Peter give him money and ask the woman, "who cut your hand grandma? ". The old woman slowly left her head and say, "YOU!"

Shock your friend by saying "YOU!". It was also up to you on how you make your voice serious or something scary on your story, so that your friend will focus or got scared. Just remember to be ready, maybe your friend will slap or punch you after saying "You!". Lol!

Horror House

Since we cannot go to a real haunted house, or even horror house in a carnival. We usually play Horror House inside the classroom.

During lunch break, after we eat, we will move all the chair on the side, close all the window and turn off the lights. Everyone will pick their partner to play the Paper Scissor Stone Game, all the winners will serve as the human while those who lose are the ghost or monsters. After that the winners will prepare outside, while those who lose will enter the room and prepare themselves. When everyone was ready, all the players will enter the room and the game will start. The goal is to get out in the classroom through the other door; as classrooms usually have 2 doors.

And that's it! These are the 3 horror but funny games that we like to play before. We also play Spirit of the glass btw. But this is not good to play.
