Blooming Flowers and Booming BCHPad
Hello ladies and gents! How was your Tuesday? Or Chooseday?
I only have one patient on my schedule today for home PT and that was one quick session in the morning. Thank God, I have “me time” for the entire afternoon.
After weeks of rain every afternoon, I can see the flowers in our backyard in full bloom. I don’t know their names, but its beauty is just captivating. So, this afternoon I have decided to clean our backyard of dried leaves. It accumulates quickly because of the wind and the rain that has been very consistent for weeks.
Blooming Flowers
An old woman in the neighborhood passed by as I transplanted some baby aloe vera plants, and she quickly complimented my mom’s flowers. I snipped two stems of the flowery plant and asked my 7-year-old niece to give it to our neighbor’s house nearby.
My niece gladly brought it to her, the neighbor thanked her and said, *“These are beautiful. Do you know their names?”*
My niece said she didn’t know and stepped slowly out of the house, but, before reaching the door, she turned back and said, with all smiles, *“You can call them Emma and Elsa, if you like.”* Then, left.
Our neighbor was laughing while narrating the story to me and my mom in the store this evening when she bought some eggs. She asked me who is Emma and Elsa? I told her that those are the main characters in the animated movie Frozen! Haha!
LOL! Kids are kids. Actually, my niece asked me this evening if the flowers have names, I told her yes, they have, but for those flowers in our backyard, I don’t know their names.” LOL!
Booming BCHPad
Of course, another blooming, I mean booming since yesterday is BCHPad, this is in smartBCH. I earned more or less 100% from my investment, really awesome, right? I shared my excitement in noise.cash yesterday, now I can totally relate when #Club1BCH are elated over the smartBCH hype. LOL! At the back of my mind, I was never too late.
I bought BPad token when it dumped first week of November at .0068+ in USD, when it pumped yesterday at .017+, I sold 40% of my BPad hodl and was surprised that I’m few sats in getting back my capital investment. Wow!
Now, I’m using the capital to invest in another fresh token, the 1BCH dex in smartBCH with the help of my #Club1BCH fam. You can read the details from @Official1BCH in this article Launch of 1BCH DEX Main Sale 1. Oh well, all the best for this project, may it prosper more and to the moon in 2022! Yay! A happy new year perhaps! Iggy's Adventure In The Wild
**Midnight.** The family was fast asleep while I maintained the Iguana watch. She was the pet of my cousin residing in my grandmother’s house on the farm. The iguana’s name was Iggy and she has been with the family for years.
One summer break, we lost Iggy as we brought her out in the wild. I thought that it was my fault for bringing her out, thinking that an occasional stroll in the wild would be best for her. Somehow, Iggy must’ve loved the new ecosystem, that she wanders far from us.
So, that night I was on a watch for Iggy, I have that intuition that she was just hiding in a decaying log. I bent over and startled, gazed right into Iggy’s eyes. She seemed to be smiling!
At first I thought that by baiting Iggy with some huge pieces of cabbage- the wild sweet baby of my cousin would pitter-patter back into the outside of the hole. Indeed, she went for the cabbage with her long slender tongue back into the innermost part of the hole, I can only imagine her grin mocking me.
After a restless night we swore one another to a tell-and-you-die oath. We have to capture Iggy back as soon as possible. It would be better to kick start right away our plan B.
**Saturday afternoon** was our plan of attack: Lure Iggy into a trap, a huge rectangular tray that has water and plenty of cabbage, and some leaves knowing that Iguanas are herbivores. We waited for an hour, but she didn't come out. We decided to take turns in watching Iggy in the wild, we already installed a tent outside. Of course, the most persistent catcher took the first turn - me, then my cousin, then my brother and lastly my other cousin. This night brought less sleep - more peeping and peeping to make sure Iggy was still in that same location. I guess she still had plenty of cabbage. Sigh.
**Sunday morning**. We prayed to God for Iggy to get bored of her adventure inside the hole and finally decide to come out. My cousin said that under no circumstances would he ever attend school again if we didn’t catch her. The pressure was on.
The key for a successful operation is having a complete support network. So, I have decided to tell my dad that we lost Iggy and we need to capture her back. A visit to dad’s secret weapon - the pet store guy, now seemed to be our only option.
When I told the guy about our crisis, he barely batted an eye. Clearly he knew a lot of animal psychology.
The guy said, *“Iggy was either A. on a vacation and loving it, B. playing a game of catch-me-if-you-can, C. lost in the hole. But she would come out, hunger would win,”* the guy continued.
The pet store guy told me to take a big trap, put on a heavy weight so that Iggy won’t be able to move the trap when he gets caught inside. The cabbage should be tied and placed at the innermost end of the trap to ascertain that Iggy won’t snatch it with her long tongue and back to her hideout.
**Bedtime Sunday.** We thought that Iggy must’ve consumed that piece of cabbage she snatched the other night with me. So, we installed the trap outside the hole as the pet store guy suggested, thinking that Iggy might be so hungry now to return home.
Then, in what seemed like one of those slow motion and dramatic return of the Prodigal son moment, my cousin’s sweet wild pet entered the trap, smooching the tied cabbage inside.
We, then close the trap, brought Iggy back in her cage again, home sweet home.
Everyone savored every second, as a victorious adventure unfolded for us.
There are moments in our childhood when our memories in the backyard had been just one big adventure, and perhaps this is one of them. The moments when losing a pet is like losing a family member and you would do all leaps and bounds just to bring them back again. Well, actually, all pet owners know that very feeling, not only children.
I never did win a stuffed animal at the carnival ever since, but that time I know how it feels.
Thanks for reading again read community and friends! xoxo

Hustle Bustle In Cryptoverse
Annyeonghaseyo everyone!
Okay, I have been so busy today, despite that it’s my day off from work. Ironic! Day off should be a day of rest, eat, sleep, watch some movies or TV series, or perhaps a trip out of town to enjoy the beach or to the mountains and breathe some fresh air. Nada.
Instead, today I spent my morning doing my laundry, though the rain always pours every afternoon, but I have no choice. Putting my hopes in Downy, it will keep my clothes smell clean and fresh even with less sunlight anyway, haha! After lunch, I met a colleague to help her with some online stuff, as if I was so techy, lol! But, I was able to pull it off, so, I guess I’m not that novice after all in front of the computer. Later in the afternoon, I promised myself to devote some time learning crypto and try a little trading, and gladly I must say that I leveled up a bit on this aspect. Well, we all just need some time and diligence to jump start, then practice and perseverance to continue honing that skill. A note to self, I must say.
“Believe in yourself. You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you imagine.” ― **Roy T. Bennett**
Indeed, we can work out anything, just believe and keep the faith!
Finally, in my crypto journey, after buying some tokens in smartBCH when it dump, I started farming in Muesliswap. Last night, I stake Milk, and I’m glad to claim some profit today. After the transaction, I noticed the gas fees and though minimal still it might just be equal to the profit I made, so, maybe next time I should not get overly excited in clicking the orange claim button.
Moreover, today, I tried farming BPAD-BCH, still in Muesliswap, and it went through smoothly. I tried Mistswap first, but it didn’t work. Instead of trying again, I transferred to Muesliswap and my stake was a success. It’s too early to get excited, I keep my fingers crossed.
Anyway, yesterday, I got some good news from a giveaway I joined on Twitter. I am one of the 10 winners to get $20 worth of BCH each, while the top prize was 2000 Rici Elon Tokens for the 3 lucky winners. Yey! Thank you CM, @Crypto.Maniac here in read.cash. And, thank you #Club1BCH, I have been slowly learning just by silently reading the Telegram chat.
Let me end my hustles and bustles here. Still, a productive day off for me.
Thank God it’s Friday! But, I want to interpret **TGIF as thank God I’m free**! Free is always awesome, right? The Awesomeness of Freedom, you might want to read this one. https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/the-awesomeness-of-freedom-c9f04d18
A free lunch, free load, free ride, free holiday, free day, giveaways, airdrops and anything that could save us from spending is just so wonderful. How about God’s offer of freedom? This offer is for free too, just seek Him first.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” - Matthew 6: 33
Awesome beyond compare!

The Wedding Announcement
Hello virtual friends and read.cash community! How’s everyone! I had a fun chitchat with my colleagues over lunch today. I was thinking of leaking out the fun part of our conversation in noise.cash, however, while typing it, I noticed that it had gone long enough fitting for an article here, so, yeah okay, let’s do it here.
Just a heads up, this is not my wedding announcement, lol! That might sound exciting, but, regrettably no, not now unfortunately. Maybe I need a shotgun to make it happen, haha!
So, moving on. Just a short overview about the Roman Catholic weddings here in the Philippines, it’s a tedious process. Mind you, when my sister got married, I never imagined that it could be a very long task, from acquiring some requirements and legal documents, file it to the civil registrar, then sit for a seminar. After that, there is another seminar in the Catholic church, they call the Pre-Cana seminar, from there the couple have to wait for a few more weeks for the wedding announcement. That lengthy process, you have to go through to get married, and if the odds went unbearable living together in one roof, getting a divorce or any forms of legal separation is one long, painful and expensive undertaking. Gosh! So, you might get another shotgun, eh? Lol! Just kidding!
Back to the chitchat, my colleague had a friend working in the office of the Barangay’s Local Parish Church, she is one of the people assigned in processing documents for weddings and all sorts.
It was a common practice that a month before the wedding day the names of the couple will be mentioned every after mass for 2 consecutive Sundays.
After the mass, this worker from the church headed to the podium and began announcing the list of couples getting married,
*“Announcing again this morning that Mr. Robert Reyes filed her intent to marry Ms. Marie Cruz (not their real names) this coming November 28, 2021,”* then she continued, *“and we would like to apologize that we announced the wrong woman for him last Sunday.”*
And all the people inside the church laughed. This must be so awkward, LOL!
Funny, but at least they apologize, haha! Whatever, that was just a mess.
Anyway, workloads must’ve gone crazy for the church personnel in charge to make those mistakes. No one is perfect as they say, so what can we do?
For the couples, especially for the bride, who of all people wanted to make this special moment perfect and memorable, must be a bit disappointing. They can only laugh about it, and pray that hopefully no more jinxes on her parade on the actual wedding day.
Oh well, something light and funny for tonight. I have a slight headache that I try to ignore the entire day. I had a short nap before dinner and when my niece woke me up to eat, I sneak on my computer to write something for tonight. Then, I have to get some more sleep. Good night and good morning, wherever you are in this universe! Stay safe and God bless!

Things You Must Do In a Road Traffic Accident
There's a road traffic accident happened near our house this afternoon and both parties are so unfortunate. I was totally shocked to hear the story as narrated by my dad this evening over dinner.
The driver on his 50's suddenly passed out while driving, the police suspected that the driver must've experienced a stroke or heart attack on the road. The passenger in the front seat narrated that the driver has been sweating profusely and complaining of the very hot weather. All of a sudden, he just noticed the driver falling down to his side, and the jeepney pivot off to the sidewalk hitting a woman walking on the side. Both, the driver and the woman were rushed to the nearest hospital on a brink of death.
Oh my! Seriously, this accident is just horrifying. I pity both of them, oh God! Please send help to those grieving souls.
The police dropped by later this afternoon to locate the family of the woman, he is a friend of my dad. So, they had a bit of chitchat, while I am eavesdropping in the background.
Interestingly, this is a rare case. How can we deal with the driver at fault? Anyway, my heart breaks for everyone. Though, as a driver, one should be conscious of his/ her health and well being before hitting the road. Everything is crucial indeed!
A road accident might not happen very often, but we still need to know how to deal with it when it happens. If you don’t know what you need to do, your insurance coverage may be in jeopardy, and maybe your license. If you may have to go to court, at least you don’t have a hazy memory for the facts. I just want to insert this here, though the case I presented was something extraordinary.
Here are five things you must do right away;
Stop immediately, as close to the scene as possible without blocking traffic. If the vehicle can’t be moved out, put out flares or some other thing that can warn incoming vehicles. Turn off the ignition.
Count ten before saying anything. Tempers will definitely flare up during accidents, so, don’t argue. Leave it all to the police.
Notify police or the traffic enforcer nearest you.
Get assistance for the injured. Except to avoid further injury, do not move anyone who may be hurt. Call an ambulance.
Exchange identification with the other driver, since you are both required to have those licenses for verification. Take note of the police officer’s name and station/ precinct number, especially if the other driver is at fault.
Just a few reminders for anyone driving. Most importantly, be conscientious of your health.
If you drink, don't drive.
If you feel sick, don't drive.
If you're sleepy, stop the car to the side.
Be a responsible driver.
An article from nowhere, just wrote something random and quick since the one I have written just disappeared on the screen because of my negligent clicking. Ugh! I was so mad that I stopped typing for an hour, and watched an episode of the K-drama I've been following.
Thanks again everyone for reading and upvoting! You're all the best!

Hold On For How Long?
“Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.” - C.S. Lewis
I have this quote posted recently in noise.cash, integrity bothers my mind while I was on my way home from work.
I wonder, where is integrity when all that is left is drudgery, hardship, and tribulation. When no one checks on your mistakes, and no one acknowledges your success, when you’ll just have to do your thing on your own, ***can you remain honest and truthful till the end?***
This evening, my memory takes me to this patient that I have been seeing for some time. I was her Physical Therapist when she got multiple fractures due to a vehicular accident. She recovered from that ordeal with me, however, she got a stroke a few months after that, so it was a never ending Physical Therapy sessions for her.
Her dilemma was overwhelming. When she got a stroke and could no longer move around, being in bed all day and having to rely on her husband’s help, I know how depressing it was, I can feel it and I saw her cry sometimes.
Unfortunately, her suffering didn’t end there. The most painful of it all was when her husband abandoned her, took her retirement money that she thought was enough for her treatments and medications.
The husband didn’t hire a caregiver for her, he would constantly assure her that he can do it. Helped her in taking a bath, changing diapers, cooking, and feeding her, it’s a cycle every single day. Anyone would understand all that is drudgery in the long run. So, anyone should ***hold on, but for how long?***
After six months, the husband stopped PT sessions for her wife saying that they’ll be going to Manila and will be living with their son. All along, I really thought that they did.
A couple months after, I received the heartbreaking news that the wife died.
At the funeral, I found out that they didn’t leave for Manila, and a month after she stopped Physical Therapy, her husband took the money she got after retirement being a Public School Teacher. However, before that, she endured being left at home sometimes with no food, and diapers left unchanged. Her co-teacher once visited her and contacted a relative’s househelp to visit her once a day during daytime when the husband isn’t around, unfortunately there are times that she’s alone at night too.
While listening on how she went through, I felt like I had a lump in my throat holding back my tears. She must’ve held on for so long with all the pain and frustrations on her deathbed.
***In sickness and in health***… Sometimes, it can be a lie.
This is a sad reality, no one is sticking around when the other gets sick, and when life gets tough. Our chances of finding integrity in situations like this can be a shot in the dark.
Nothing is certain, even the weather and love.
Why out of the blue this story bugs me? Because, just this afternoon, I have heard the husband passed away in their home, in the room his wife died.
I hope he finds forgiveness from his past mistakes, from life that might've unfolded differently, and the regrets that might've haunted him till the very end.
Right now, I am listening to this song from Ben & Ben "Leaves," made me realize that, perhaps patience just fell short in sustaining love and truthfulness. ***And maybe, all will be all right in time, that is if there is still time.*** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oxxi0d7AQI
What a melancholic Saturday night, and listening to this song makes me want to sigh...
Have an amazing weekend everyone!

11-11
Obviously, shopping sites and apps are all so busy today with the 11.11 sale. People are also busy checking out the sale items of their favorite brands and stuffs in their wish list, wavering whether to give in and spend.
In the previous month, during the 10-10 sale in Lazada, my brother bought a portable drill machine and he got it at a very cheap price. He was eyeing this power tool for a couple of months perhaps, and he kept delaying the purchase thinking that the price might get a bit lower the next month. When he saw it on 60% promotion that day, he snagged it off to the cart and bought it. A best deal indeed, packed and shipped safely with a handy plastic case, and functioning really fine. He tried using it in both wood and concrete wall already, and it worked perfectly.
Today, I tried looking for jackets or sweaters because the weather was a bit cooler now, and I needed a lightweight one that I could easily insert in my bag. Most of the days, the rain pours in the afternoon and it’s convenient to have one that I could pull out of the bag while commuting on my way home.
While checking some of the jackets on sale in Shopee, I am amused because I often see descriptions that says “Fits small to large” or “free size.” For sure, it’s good enough to fit a large body frame, and extremely huge and bulky for the small ones. Though oversized shirts are a trend now, I don’t think I would like to be fooled by sellers who lack effort in describing their merchandise.
Anyway, I finally got a decent one that I added to cart, then browsing down the page, I saw more tempting items that I may also like and similar products suggested. Oh well, marketing strategy at its finest, hahah! Great fortune tellers! lol! Now, it’s up to me to give up or add more, and more, and some more, to the cart.
This is stressful for my pocket, lol!
However, last night, I sold the AxieBCH I hodl in my Metamask wallet for a week already, and earned a few sats when it went ATH. Posted this in my noise and funny that I posted a photo from coingecko instead of marketcap. Though, at first I really thought that Axie and AxieBCH is the same, indeed DYOR is a big thing. Oh well, the tension is obviously still in my nerves, lol! That's how it feels like to trade on a seemingly different platform. Hopefully, I'll get the hang of it.
But, no way I'm gonna spend all for 11-11, my plans are all so big and bright on my take off to SmartBCH. I am keeping my hopes high and all the best for BCH!
Just another random article popping from nowhere.
Thanks for reading and the upvotes my dear virtual friends! xoxo
And to @Pichi28 thanks as always!

Filipino Foodies and Goodies
A diet rich in variety and loaded with essential nutrients is the cornerstone of a healthy lifestyle. But the majority of us, especially Filipinos, are not meeting their daily needs for many vitamins and minerals, including iron and zinc. Usually, we indulge in carbohydrates, like the rice we have been eating at every meal and the bread or some sweets in between snacks.
Adding servings of lean beef or pork to the menu is an easy way to make sure we get the recommended daily allowance of minerals. However, we only need 3-ounce serving of lean meat to get more than 10 percent of the daily value for protein and zinc. Yep, 3-ounce not 1/4 or half to a kilo of meat we cook and eat in one serving, thus, nowadays, people are more prone to cardiovascular diseases because of overeating.
Anyway, what am I doing?! I just want to talk about foodies and goodies, but instead started a couple of segments in this article pointing out harsh realities. Well, I'm not a health freak, but working in the medical field being cognizant of the different diseases just gets the best of me. Sigh.
So, let me go back to this gastronomic tour of some Filipino foodies and goodies that I have written several months ago in this platform.
Philippines: Luzon Food Habits and Practices https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/philippines-luzon-food-habits-and-practices-c8970e5f
Starting in the Southern part of the Philippines, my favorite is the famous Kare-kare served with Bagoong, this viand is just so delish. Originally, this food was considered as an exotic Tagalog dish (check it out why from the original article). Nowadays, it has been cooked in several versions thus reducing its authenticity. But, still, my favorite Tagalog dish no matter what.
In Visayas, my fave is the Inasal Chicken, of course the popular Mang Inasal is still the best with its distinct recipe and taste that captures the palate of people not only in Visayas, but in the entire Philippines. I love eating this with rice, and of course with your bare hands, well, after washing your hands, hahah! To avoid those deadly viruses! lol!
Philippines: Visayas Food Habits and Practices https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/philippines-visayas-food-habits-and-practices-ac5c8637
Lastly, Mindanao, has this fruit that I hate, but love by many. The Durian fruit has this really unpleasant smell, that's why I don't like eating it, but it's delicious as most Durian lovers would say. Businesses in Davao developed a delicacy from this fruit, like the durian jam, tarts, pastries and candies.
How can I forget my favorite, Fresh Lumpia or Lumpia Ubod. This is a healthy spring roll recipe mainly of vegetables, tokwa, shrimp and other ingredients, together with its unique sauce, this dish is just so distinct.
Philippines: Mindanao Food Habits and Practices https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/philippines-mindanao-food-habits-and-practices-e36085a0
Last weekend, my sister and I wanted to make Broken Cathedral Jelly, but then we got confused along the process and we thought that if we would pursue with the usual plan, we might end up breaking our hearts while eating the finished product. We're both trying hard kitchen buff, so everything will be an experiment, lol! Nevertheless, we pulled it off with a simpler gelatin recipe, we call it, the fruit jelly, haha! We got the green gelatin, and I was thinking maybe we can make both green and red for Christmas! It's so easy to make and it's delicious too!
Did I make you hungry?
While making this article, I'm starting to crave for Kare-kare and the Inasal Chicken. My goodness! Life is just so wonderful with foods and goodies! Well, that's just the way the cookie crumbles!
Let's eat!

Because It's Christmas!
**C**iao! Bella giornata to all! That means, hello! Beautiful day to all! lol! That's what I got from watching Vincenzo, a K-drama that point out some common Italian words. Anyway, just try watching, it's entertaining and the main characters are all witty, so I must've enjoyed it, yes! A lot!
**H**owever, the purpose of this article is not to make a review or whatsoever about the drama series, I just want to share the vibes and the holiday spirit of Christmas already springing everywhere. The malls here have been decorating for Christmas since September, our hospital decorated the lobby, and since we don't have much patients in the Out Patient Department that day, we started decorating too.
**R**ight! Christmas is everywhere! So, for this Acrostic Challenge of @McJulez, please check out the paragraphs, the first letter of each paragraph would start purposely with letters C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S organized from top to bottom. Now, I proceed with the letter I. Haha! This is fun!
**I** did some decorating for Christmas at home too. I usually do this after the Halloween, since, I'm free in the morning, I woke up early to do some cleaning in the living room. My nephew helped out too, he is big enough to carry some boxes we used to store the decorations. I quickly started to empty some stuffs out, and decided not to use everything this time. I don't know, but I can feel that Christmas isn't as festive as before, pre-pandemic. Are you feeling it too?
**S**ometimes I fret how this pandemic changes everything, our way of life, our finances and all. Though, it brings some good outcomes, but without doubt it hits our national and personal economy remarkably. So, must be the reason why we are all so frugal about the decorations and the gift giving, everything is understandable.
**T**oday, after work, I passed by the mall to have dinner because I don't want to drive hungry again. So, inside the mall, at the entrance, are Christmas decors on sale and despite of the bargain no one cares to drop by to check it out. Sigh. At the back of my mind, it seems I am not alone in the universe feeling minimalistic for Christmas. Well, I'm very normal I guess.
**M**aybe, this year, we could all focus our efforts and energy on what this season is all about. The birth of Jesus is a great message and alone our only reason to celebrate. We can exclude the material things and the lavish parties this festive season brings, instead cling to a simple recollection of gratefulness of everything that matters - good health, amazing families, great relationships, productive work, and our relationship with God.
**A**nd, how about BCH? Yes, I thank God for BCH too, and may it reach $60,000, like BTC, yay! I know not this year's Christmas, but how about in the next couple, triple or quadruple years to come? Everything can happen!
**S**ounds crazy? NO, that sounds Christmas for me!
That's it! Another article from the prompts that we can all take advantage if our mind is less motivated to write.
Thanks for reading and for all the generous upvotes, gracias! Merry Christmas and expect another holiday greetings from me in the next 48 days!

Idioms In The Whole Nine Yards
Aloha beautiful people all over the world!
Let me **jump on the bandwagon** tonight with a challenge about an article using idioms from @meitanteikudo promptfactory, and from the title obviously, these will be idioms in **the whole nine yards** and free writing just anything and **under the sun**.
Ah, I love this picture! A new upload in my Flickr, just want to share it. Why not? https://www.flickr.com/photos/mayaomana/51654297071/in/dateposted-public/
Today, I woke up so late again. I said again, because I have been sleeping in the wee hours of the morning lately. In my noise.cash post two days ago, I shared about counting sheeps to bring myself to sleep, but, unfortunately, that didn’t work at all. I even tried to add some humor of counting shapes instead, but still was just **a go on a wild goose chase.** Well, the comments did encourage me though, I love this line from @bbyblacksheep.
“Can’t sleep?
Don’t count sheep.
Talk to the Shepherd instead.”
Indeed, this is so true and comforting. Our mind is a battlefield that needs the luxury of God’s peace. I was reminded that perhaps my mind has been dwelling so much on, the cares of this world, and certainly I just need a **heart-to-heart talk** with the Lord to calm my thoughts of His promises.
Life has been fine **come rain or shine** at the moment. I have been enjoying my work both traveling and on rehab duty, and virtually, with noise.cash and read.cash in between. It seems, I’ll just have to live my life every single day patiently and ardently because **the slow and steady wins the race**. Yes! I’m keeping this positive perspective just to make this life worth living, and at the same time knowing and hoping that soon I will have the **best in both worlds**.
Furthermore, who would love to slack in time and in learning. We all want to be busy and productive so often that we have forgotten to eat, some have forgotten to play a bit, or worse, to sleep. I must have **hit the nail on the head**, let me put that as a note to myself.
“Don’t confuse having a career with having a life. They are not the same.” - Hillary Clinton
Yeah, right?! I love that quote. Sometimes, it’s okay to loosen up. Getting some rest, more sleep and some time to just enjoy breathing and appreciating life as it unfolds is always as valid as killing ourselves to work, earn money and success. A balance of things and of this and that is important. **Take it with a grain of salt**, then life will be more interesting.
So, tomorrow, I promised myself to wake up early, **fit as a fiddle**, and cook something **not rocket science**, that will uplift my mood. I dropped by the grocery store earlier after work to complete the ingredients. I'll be cooking with my sister, she’s the one suggesting it because we’re both craving for some sweets.
I want to save the best for last, so leaving you with this verse.
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” - John 10:10
I have to **hit the sack** soonest. Good night and good morning wherever you are, my forever supportive readers and friends in the virtual world!
Blessings!

Let Me End My October
Good morning and good evening virtual friends all around the world!
So, October just ended. What a jiffy?! Why does the world is in a rush? Is there a way to pause it for some time?
Nah. It's not. Time keeps moving. Tic toc tic toc, tic toc, imagining how Anna's eyes and feet moves while staring at the antique clock while *"watching the hours tick by,"* in Frozen 1.
Anyway, almost 10 o'clock in the evening of the second day of November, 2021. Let me end my October then.
`Before anything else, let me thank everyone in the community for being so supportive, and of course, to the owner, developer and contributors of both noise.cash and read.cash, and to all my sponsors, tyvm! xoxo`
My topics as I see it now were a bit diverse this October, as I started connecting under the weather, well, I can only blame the monsoon rains that never goes out of fashion nowadays. The climate make me want to stay in my bed all day and imagine day off surprises. What a life it would be?! A coffee is great, but a cold Matcha milktea despite of the rains won't hurt my nose or my throat, so I'm up to it too. Then, binge watching K-dramas all day, or a short film that would inspire me to write an article or a quick post for my two favorite platforms: read.cash and noise.cash. https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/connecting-under-the-weather-156a9521 https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/day-off-surprises-4d6240c6
This month really pushed me to keep on my pace of publishing articles and to renew my commitment in making some more noise, after all both platforms are better together to aim our time and efforts into. Actually, it's good to devour all these tasks and goals, feeling like a predator as if I were a crocodile. lol! That sounds funny! But, I have to pull this off, so that's it. Anyway, October is unpredictable too for me, I might hate horror movies and stories, but I was able to make two articles in this genre, and made the first part of She Can See Ghost my top earning article for this month too. Not much actually compared to the previous months, because Rusty is unpredictable too sometimes. https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/day-off-surprises-4d6240c6 https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/if-i-were-a-crocodile-2b402e23 https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/she-can-see-ghosts-part-1-aab7a619
Moreover, I'm proud of myself for exploring other stuffs for other financial means virtually, I think you have to try it too and know your opportunity in Bityard as well. I'm still on my toes in that platform and same with the smartBCH network. So, fortunately, my clean little hands are still holding my asset dearly before the rug pulls happened with some tokens in smartBCH few days ago. Thank God! But, some awesome people I knew here recovered quickly from the rug pulls, indeed man can fall down and get up again, smarter and braver than ever with their strategies and investments. DYOR is indeed, a one top tough job. https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/know-your-opportunity-in-bityard-db63939a https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/clean-little-hands-d46bdc2e https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/man-can-fall-down-and-get-up-again-5b65fa50 https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/top-tough-job-5aea0bad
I thank #Club1BCH for the membership I got this month too, silently reading the TG chat about BCH and the cryptoverse inspires me to explore other means of earning. Hopefully, I won't get torn between nots and knots in this whole new journey. Somehow I got hiccups already while installing Metamask, I might need help desperately if I couldn't get a grasp of it soon. Help! https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/torn-between-not-and-knots-9a40c4a7
That would be all for October, I guess!
Let's run this race steadily, continuously and consistently, after all laziness is a bondage, and we don't want to fall on that trap. Let us make read.cash and noise.cash our constant companion for BCH adoption. https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/laziness-is-bondage-4bb3439f
Hoping for a much productive November for everyone!
Aja!
The lines with blue marks my articles for this month, except this article Going Plastic for Aesthetic, I can't get a good spot in the article to insert it, lol! So, this was a challenge by @Infinity of connecting titles, that I was reminded while reading @jane and @CoquiCoinarticles. https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/going-plastic-for-aesthetic-dda30633

She Can See Ghosts (Final Part)
Please read the first part of this article "She Can See Ghosts," all the strange things initially happened with our friend Ana, who can literally see and talks to ghosts. https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/she-can-see-ghosts-part-1-aab7a619
I have made a part two because my adventures with Ana continued from our fourth year in College to our fifth year of Clinical Internship. And, in this second year Ana have been my companion for a month both in the boarding house and in the hospital we've been assigned during internship.
My first month in the program was in Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center, of course I was with Ana. I'm so glad I was with her than the other obnoxious guy in our batch that travelled with us to Manila. The hospital was quite old, at the back of my mind Ana must have seen a lot of ghosts from there. However, I told her beforehand to ignore it so, the month went smoothly, we finished our first month no ghosting whatsoever.
Oh well, that was I thought actually, until this obnoxious guy in the boarding house triggered a mess one night in the house.
She Talks to Ghost
We had a small celebration on the last day of May, actually, it's my birthday too, so I bought burgers from Mc Donalds for my colleagues in the boarding house, it's the nearest fastfood chain available in the area, and of course my budget can only afford. The landlady's son has been so friendly to everyone too, and bought bottles of beer. This boarding house has been an abode for Mindanaoan PT students for internship for some years, that's why the son of the landlady has been so much comfortable understanding our dialect as well.
The small party was held on the rooftop, the favorite spot for students to hang out most often was on this side beside a huge tree because it has been cozy and cooler. The branches of the tree almost covered that side. Some were drinking, others just had chit chat and some laughs of our experience in the first month of internship. Some students returned to their rooms as the night grows late, while some remained on the rooftop.
There were still around 7 or 8 of us on the rooftop, when our obnoxious guy batchmate speaks unthinkingly to Ana about her gift of seeing ghosts. Everyone was thrilled, perhaps the alcohol had an effect already, well, except me. I know this won't be fun to watch.
The student from Dipolog excitedly asked Anna if she can see a ghost with us at the rooftop, and even added if she can talk to them too. My friend had been tipsy, I believed, and answered yes to both questions. Everyone looked at each other in amazement, like a child wheedled for a tour to an amusement park.
Ana, all of a sudden transferred to a corner just within the group and faced an empty space, and talked smoothly, *"Do you have a name?" "What's your name?"*
The ghost perhaps nodded in agreement, and Ana then answered and said, *"His name is Bob."*
Right there and then, everyone had goosebumps and ran.
I grabbed Ana by the hand and said that we should go too, but she faced that same empty space again before moving out and said, *"we are so sorry, we have to go."*
And, we left.
That Strong Wind
My friends and study group mates from the previous year meet again at the school campus when we finished the first semester of clinical internship. We need to have our clearances signed by several department heads that time, and since we only got a day to do this because we need to travel the next day to our respective hospital assignments, we waited for our clinical coordinator until 6 o'clock in the evening to submit our clearance and take our endorsement.
After we finished, the group then had a small discussion in the roundabout in front of the medical center. The roundabout was like a park with lots of trees and some benches arranged suitable for the use of the students, and the community too. However, during at night, it does not have enough lighting making the place a bit creepy.
We waited for some of our friends there, when suddenly a strong wind swept all the leaves and dust towards us in a second. Then, Ana forced us to leave the place and perhaps wait for our friends in the mall. We rode the next jeepney that stopped nearby, then a friend realized that what had happened must be another ghost interconnection with Ana.
He asked Ana what was it about, and answered that some ghosts gathered in front of the medical center, waving timidly like bidding goodbye to us when the wind blows hard. And she thought, that must be a sign to leave the place.
The End.
Okay, that was it.
From that moment onwards it seems that I no longer have those strange moments. Mind you, from the start I really don't believe in paranormal existence. I only had an experience of such sometimes with Ana, if my memory serves me right.
Last Thoughts
We might agree or disagree on these things because it's not something that happens ordinarily. But, in my experience I can't brush it off aside in disagreement because of friendship, and of course, that feeling too that somehow there must be that unseen entity in the shadows, watching.
The only consolation we could give to these wandering souls are our prayers. Praying that somehow they would rest in peace, and rebuke any harm or destruction while we live with the unseen, undermined and abandoned souls.
Thanks for reading and the generous tips from everyone! God bless you... overflowing!
P.S. Thanks to @Jane for the sponsorship renewal yesterday, and to all my great amazing sponsors, thank you!

She Can See Ghosts (Part 1)
Growing up in my childhood, I never believe in ghost and in any paranormal stories that I often see in the movies and on TV. Must be because I never encountered any of such terrifying event in my life. The only frightening experience I could remember are in my dreams, and nothing from reality.
But, that was before my fourth year in College.
During college days, in my fourth year to be exact, my friends in the course were mostly my buddies too in overnight group study and research. We're all outgoing and fun, however, we also compliment each others strengths and weaknesses as students. In short, we have each other's back all throughout time. But, one stood out from the five of us, ***her name is Ana and she can see ghosts.***
Ana is a silent average girl, for the entire semester we never knew that she has this gift, or whatever you call that, some call it the third eye or the sixth sense, to be exact the ability to see ghosts. Yes, she can actually talk to them too. Weird, but we have lots of experiences with her in this aspect as part of the friendship.
In one of the course in Physical Therapy, we have the opportunity to work in a real human cadaver to study vividly and closely the human anatomy. And, in our fourth year, the Anatomy Laboratory has been our constant dwelling place, at first it's really strange, but when we got compromised with a red mark in our test paper, every eerie feeling disappears, we can easily brush it off just to pass the subject.
Encounter with the Cadaver
One time, Ana told me and one of our friends that she somehow have seen the face of the human cadaver we are working with. I blurted out, how could she be so sure when the face was covered ever since we started dissecting, and she defended that before we cut the skin of the cadaver in the left thigh just above the knee was a tattoo that resembles a bird flying. And, at that very moment, Ana told us that she could see a man holding a ball standing near the door, wearing a jersey shirt and short, with that same tattoo we saw from the cadaver beforehand.
We didn't mind her and we just continued studying for the muscles. Ana and the rest of us had forgotten about it too, especially when the schedule for the moving exam was already posted.
Gasping for Air
The exam date came, and the five of us came early in the classroom near the Anatomy Laboratory for a quick review. When all five of us were seated, Ana forced us to quickly leave the room and come back later when the rest of our classmates arrives. When we asked her why, she calmly told us that one female ghost was crying in the room and glanced angrily at us when we arrived. The five of us ran down the stairs from the fourth floor to the basement of the building, gasping for air.
Since that incident, we requested Ana not to tell us if she noticed something strange. We thought that maybe it would be better just to ignore it. Ana agreed half-heartedly, perhaps she undoubtedly knew that we don't want any ghosts or any of such things to interfere with our reviews and studies. Seriously, who would want to fail just because of these ghosts, right?
BOO!!!
For a few months, we barely had an experience of those strange things, Ana never bothered telling or warning us too. However, before the end of our fourth year, we had this project to clean the cadaver of its flesh and leave all the bones clean and assemble it precisely back in its place. This is a class project and the cadaver was divided in regions to be assigned in every group to work closely into. The class devoted an overnight stay in the school campus, for a thorough cleaning of the cadaver, some students installed tents, and some stayed in the fourth floor- same classroom beside the anatomy laboratory. And I am one of the students who took a nap in the room at a wee hour that morning.
I think there were fifteen students in the room that time, some had a chit chat, some were brainstorming, some had a snack, and myself on a "supposed" power nap. Then, the light in the room flickers and everyone seemed to ignore it.
A few seconds after, we heard a loud bang on the door, perhaps the one from the laboratory, and then suddenly my classmate sitting near the door, saw a ball thrown in the air and hit forcefully on the floor. That very moment everyone, including me, was so frightened. We gazed at each other in complete shock, wondering where the ball came from! Without any fuss, we moved out of the room quickly as if someone had just rebuked us to LEAVE.
My mind tells me, that must be him.
To be continued.
See you in the second part and perhaps the last one.
I still have memories with Ana and her adventures ghosting, literally and technically speaking, lol! So, stay tuned!

Top Tough Job
The national election is coming soon here in the Philippines, as usual, it's the talk of the town, especially in the mass media. Although, I care less about it, but it has been a subject from the people I've been interacting today, it seems that I hear more of politics than Christmas and Covid19, so I give in. Let me write something about it.
The noisiest by far among all of the available occupation is the highest ranking position of the country, The President of the Philippines. The politicians eyeing for the position all have diverse experience, some have the atypical colloquial mentality, political inconsistencies, to radical vision. All that is a circus in the realm of social media, where everyone has their own opinion of loud or obscure agenda and well, who wouldn't notice those funny memes, quotes and taglines.
The top job, being president is, in many ways, the nicest job in the world perhaps. The salary, though not princely compared with what a successful crooner can earn, maybe half a million per month in Philippine peso, and expense allowances are generous. The Malacanang is rent-free, complete with limousines. The Airforce places as an armada of aircraft at the President's disposal. The Navy offers a variety of ships to suite the President's tastes in cruises.
A President also meets a lot of interesting people. He is welcome in the homes of the rich and fawned upon by the masses. Fleets and armies are his to command. His name is one of the world's household words. His every word is magnified, reproduced, circulated, and studied with a respect suggesting that his wisdom transcends Plato's. Epic, yeah?!
This job surely is to satisfy the most energetic craving for fulfillment. Any man assuming the office would love it, but would sheepishly admit it. His words would always be for the people, and by the people. A way to win the hearts of the masses. Every democratic mind would always follow such vision. It works, I guess.
Anyhow, comprehending the minds of these candidates nowadays, my humble mind had gotten lost in translation. Why? Because, these aspiring politicians had gotten lost in words too. One, opted for this famous line in his speech "sana all" with beaming confidence and drama. While another candidate lost their Math skills, and some often times talk in riddles. Undoubtedly, their talent is surprising during the campaign period.
Last Thoughts
Politics has never been clean and noble in the face of the earth, especially here in the Philippines, it has always been with malice whether from the topmost or at the bottom position. And, for this reason, ordinary people like us must act with diligence and responsibility for the people we choose to lead our country and our community.
As for me, I might care less at this time about these people who seek for my approval at this time of reckoning, however, I will exercise my will to vote with moral and logical effort. Nevertheless, as Christians, we have to pray for God's guidance, because the people who will sit and govern our nation and community should be honored and respected as He commanded.
"Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God." - Romans 13: 1
God bless, the Philippines!
Thank you to all my sponsors who renewed today and the past few days!

Laziness is Bondage
Laziness, I have mentioned a bit of this topic in my article about The Awesomeness of Freedom. I have to quote back here what I have written about laziness and poverty, because both words are significantly congruent with each other. https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/the-awesomeness-of-freedom-c9f04d18
**"Being poor is not a bondage, but laziness is**."
A lot of us aren't born rich, we are all in this platform to make both ends meet. Thus, we're not lazy. Great job to all of us! You're free from the bondage of laziness.
However, how about those unfortunate people who seem to have no initiative on how to make a living, or lack the guts and the confidence to divert their energy into something more productive, or lazy to learn new things and lacks enthusiasm to venture profitable pursuits in life?
Every time I commute going to work, there are Badjao people waiting at every stop of the jeepney or the bus in the city streets to beg for money. The Badjao is an ethnic group often tagged as "sea gypsies" in the southern part of Mindanao, while they're known to live in an impoverished way of life, I believe not all stagnate, some had lived making a difference like the Badjao Girl, and also this Badjao community in Cebu City that has been thriving positively and proactively for the development of their tribe. https://entertainment.inquirer.net/422338/badjao-girl-rita-gaviola-hints-at-joining-next-years-miss-universe-pageant https://serve.ie/the-story-of-the-badjao-tribe/
But, for some in this group, opted the easy way of making a living like begging in the streets. I have some friends from public/ government agencies that had worked together to address the problem of this group in our city. They have provided livelihood projects, and some teacher volunteers help to educate them for self development and to new things that could be great opportunities for these people to grow and improve their means of living.
How come we still see them in the streets? Unfortunately, because some are just lazy to learn new things. A volunteer friend of mine would tell me that, whenever they have a livelihood training with the Badjao community only 1 or 2 were present, while some would sell the raw materials for the project and ended up with nothing to use in the next session. Most of them are just relentless for a better change, perhaps they're only wanting easy money.
**“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime” - Lao Tzu**
This is the premise, why we need to teach some people to explore something new for better opportunities, for them to settle up and carry on living by the sweat of their brows not relying on anyone to feed him or her. Some despise work and thought that it's easier to rely on someone else. It's a shame that even people in their productive years- mentally and physically normal individuals, still rely on their parents, or worst to their grandparents.
Nowadays, there are lots of things that we can do to earn and make a living, if we're not lazy to learn these new things then we can change the direction of our lives. We only need to keep our mind open, and keep on learning.
**"A lazy person has trouble all through life; the path of the upright is easy." - Proverbs 15:19**
Laziness is a bondage, and one should realize that he/ she needs help to be set free.

Going Plastic For Aesthetic
Hello read champs from around the world! How was the week going for us in the cryptoverse? Mine was in a status quo no matter how I try to level up, I guess my brain works up to this level of understanding only, sadly. But, I will never surrender, I have a lifetime to learn.
Anyway, I started writing this article yesterday for Friday publication, but my body won't cooperate. I was so much beaten up from work yesterday, I thought I would be running a fever. Body malaise was terrible too, so right after dinner, I went to bed and sleep. I woke up early at 5am, would love to go for a morning walk, but I still feel weak, so I pampered myself for a few more hours of sleep. The alarm woke me up at 8am, and assessing myself physically, I think I'm good for work. As if I have a choice, my patient is due for reevaluation today by our doctor and I don't want to cancel it while the patient is all prep up for her appointment.
I'm glad my body recuperate overnight, it's hard to fake our body in a pink of health. Sometimes, we can fake our emotions, we can smile despite in an emotional roller coaster, but with health we can't fake it. If you're weary physically and your body demands sleep, hydration and nutrition, your body will take its toll. Then, you have to do something.
Moreover, we try to cover up and fake ourselves to look okay on the outside, I think, it is so natural for us. Like fake friends, so esthetically comfortable to be with. They laugh with us, and pretend to be caring and kind, however, when a situation becomes tough, fake friends will abandon us in a jiffy, right? Who can relate? I bet everyone had an experience of this sort once or twice in a lifetime.
This cafe at the center isle of the mall is so aesthetically beautiful and pleasantly cozy too. I stepped in to check the menu and I only noticed coffee, frappe, and milk tea. Not my need at the moment so I left. But, I would love to sit for a while next time, and wait for the time to pass by perhaps. The hanging plants that you see are all made of plastic, yet they look so pretty from afar, makes me imagine sitting in a garden, a natural garden with fresh air, I hope, then I would sit on a bench sipping a delightful Matcha tea. What an aesthetic life?! Soon, maybe.
Unfortunately, with the kind of life we have now fast paced- and instant, those pretty gardens are brought inside of the mall, with those fancy architecture and plastic plants, one can make believe that he/ she is in a garden, but the air-condition could never fake the fresh air. Just sad, still I want to sit in there and pretend myself enjoying.
My mother bought this potted beautiful pinkish red flower for the coffee table in our patio, mind you these pretty little petals are plastic too. I once thought that it's real, that I even wonder how my mom got this plant, I know she will never pay for anything lavish like it. So, the next morning, I pinched one petal and discovered that it's plastic. Yes, she opted to have this fake plant than buy those ridiculously expensive ornamental plants, that would make her miserable if it dies.
Well, of course, cheers for those fake moments! Those times when you thought you're genuinely happy and yet you're just plainly intoxicated by alcohol, or whatever. There are times when you try yourself to be a people pleaser, and living for lip service and turned out you're just fooling yourself. When you realized and try to defend yourself ones, you've been tagged the most horrible person in the universe. Cheers for finally realizing who you are!
Parting words:
**Learn the real from the fake....and don't worry about the mistakes you make.**
- Anonymous
Yeah, I guess that is learning the hard way. Betrayed by plastic friends, fake moments, and some make believe is just so annoying. But, what can we actually do, this is the world NOW.
After all, there are no mistakes in life, just lessons.
Thanks for the upvotes, comments and for reading just something random for today.
Have a blessed Sunday ahead! God bless!

Better Together
Before starting, let me play this song from Jack Johnson. I was reminded of this song a day ago, from a photo I took in the front yard of my patient's house. Likewise, it reminds me of a good friend back in the academe days, Lina, not her real name, when she married her best friend.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfoqELZWcp8&list=RDRfoqELZWcp8&start_radio=1
Lina and I had a catch-up a week ago, when I met her while grocery shopping after work and went to continue our chit chat over dinner in a restaurant just inside the mall.
Let me tell you a short cute story of them. I told her that I'll share it with my friends in the virtual world, and she disagree. But, when I blurted out to make it cute and superficial, she then gave me the okay sign. Well, I hope I could keep the promise, lol!
It was a Saturday afternoon when her husband asked if she'd like to see a movie that night.
"Sure," she replied.
So, about 9PM after the baby had gone to bed, she sat on the couch as he inserted a DVD into the video player.
"What movie did you get?" Lina asked. "I thought we'd watch My Best Friend's Wedding," he responded with a nod and a twinkle in his eyes.
He then handed her a glass of wine and hit the play button. But instead of seeing Julia Roberts come up on the screen, she realized suddenly watching a group of familiar faces... and the beginning footage of their wedding day five years ago.
Aww, isn't that the sweetest? Indeed, it was her best friend's wedding, eh?
When he proposed to her to level up their relationship, Lina never had second thoughts. She reassured herself that she won't lose him along the way, and he promised her as well that entire new level of intimacy would never spoil the friendship that was formed by time.
And, indeed, they somehow make it work until now.
*"The best love is finding your soulmate in your best friend."* - Unknown
That's what she told me when I asked her why they end up together... maybe forever.
Trusting was a smooth resolution for her each time she needed to confide about something. There is a commitment that was built in time and experience that they both shared in the toughest and the longest of time, being best friends for 6 years and dating afterwards for 3 years.
Indeed, your best friend, shares with you every pain and happiness, celebrating with him in the ups and cried with him down in the dumps. You both, knew each other so well, compliments each others weaknesses, laugh, speak, understand and fight sometimes.
That all, made her realize that, *"we are better together."*
Somehow, it works for them, and some just don't. I think it all depends on the level of understanding and respect that you both have for each other.
What do you think?
This was the photo that triggered all the lovely thoughts around my head couple of days ago. The meet up has been a complimentary experience to finally come up a lovey-dovey article, lol!

Know Your Opportunity In Bityard
All along, I thought that Bityard is a new online crypto trading and exchange platform. Then, I discovered that this has been established since 2019, licensed and regulated in four key countries: Singapore, U.S.A., Australia and Estonia. Thus, I believe the credibility of this platform to handle our crypto finances is commendable. However, to earn in Bityard will always be up to our skill and capability.
"Grow Your Future In The Yard"
This statement is from BitYard, and in my opinion, it is futuristic like the opportunity we have in this platform, which is cryptocurrency. It is inevitable that crypto will stay pushing our future with digital technology and eventually for global mass adoption.
From its name, Bit Yard, it connotes something realistic and friendly, like my article and the song "Backyard Boy,"smooth and light. Indeed, while checking the app, Bityard has this friendly interphase, practical for the use of novice crypto investors in the appetite for learning how to trade and earn crypto. https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/backyard-boy-d669f926 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mbj26vHDMII
Opportunities in BitYard
**Mining**
You can earn USDT by mining, and this is as simple as clicking those fancy colorful gems you can see on the mining screen. Transferring the reward is easy with few clicks, and it will then be added to your Contract Bonus, that can be used to deduct trading fees. You can check the Reward Center for the accumulated reward you got for mining.
**Copy Trade**
This is trading in an opportunity to copy and invest from all potential and seasoned traders. You can try this out by simply clicking copy and entering the amount you wish to invest for this trader. In my perusal, the needed information are all provided under the trader's name, especially taking note of the Profit Rate and the Win Rate. The premise of copy trade is simple, if the trader wins- you win too, if he loses- you lost your money as well.
So, if you can't afford to lose your asset from copying other traders, you can try pushing for the next opportunity to earn in Bityard.
**Contract and Spot Trading**
Actually, trading isn't my forte, I'm still new into trading. I have been so conservative in handling my assets, in fact, I'm only investing my hodl in Binance Flexible Savings and the BNB vault. However, we need to learn new things and expand for the better, so, I'm on my toes at the moment in my venture for crypto trading.
The minimum deposit to start maneuvering around the yard is 10 USDT, this currency is also the one to be used for copy trade. But, any crypto is available for deposit and eventually start trading.
A demo version is available for beginners, this is to practice yourself in the trading process without the risk of losing your asset. If you're a novice in this bracket of crypto investment, like me, the demo mode will surely help us out to get the hang of it.
**Affiliate Program**
By sharing affiliate links in social media, a Bityard user will earn commission from trading fees from your referrals.
**Bityard Happy Wednesday**
Join the fun and win cryptos in the Bityard - Grow Your Future In The Yard - Flickr account @BitYard_Global. Last Wednesday, I've seen 2 users from read.cash who won $100 in XRP. Not me, unfortunately, but, maybe soon.
Last Thoughts
I will definitely try my luck in this platform and hopefully grow my future with cryptocurrency in Bityard. Currently, just transferred XRP from my Coins.ph wallet to Bityard and so far the transfer has been successful. This is one great advantage for Filipino crypto enthusiasts because we can transfer assets directly to and from our local wallet.
My parting words, learning is a continuous process, it never stops, and crypto is one of the best resources to help level up our financial goals, and hopefully improve our way of living. Nowadays, we can earn even by staying at home and merely use our mobile phones and the internet, learning how to utilize these things to our advantage is all up to us.
Disclaimer: I'm not a financial advisor. In investing, always DYOR.
I know this is just a superficial presentation of the Bityard platform, something a beginner could grasp the practical side of things... or whatever.
Start exploring Bityard, **here**!

Man Can Fall Down and Get Up Again
Not so long ago, during the school’s recognition day of my nephew, one county public official was invited as guest speaker.
As he walked into the assembly area and down the aisle under the cold stare of the kids, he realized that his inspirational stories and successes would be far from fitting with his audience. His heart pounded and he wondered how he would start his speech. As he blinked his eyes and as he goes up on the steps to the platform, he stumbled and fell flat on the floor. The kids went laughing.
The guest speaker got up, broke into a smile of delight, rushed into the speaker’s stand and said, “Kids, that’s exactly why I’m here – to tell you that all of us can fall down and get up again!” then he added on and on speaking words of encouragement for all those little ones.
Falling down can be irritating. Whether, literally and in public like what happened to the guest speaker in the story, or perhaps in our private lives, being pushed down, rejected, ridiculed, scammed or lied. We fell down so often, we barely noticed how many times we've been in such position, yet we're still up and fighting. We didn't notice those scars anymore, yet we learned from those instances that had left a great painful mark in our lives.
Moreover, from the story, we can get up with enthusiasm. Most often, we would get mad and disappointed for failing, we got flustered in isolation and eventually demotivated to try again or to try new things. But, we can always choose to react positively to a situation, we always have a choice.
Today, I hate to admit to myself that I might've fallen down again, yes, again and again. It seems I have never learned my lesson. Of course, I did learn something, but the dreamer inside this humble soul, won't give up. So, I would pursue countless of times to keep going until I make it.
Anyway, half of myself is hoping and the other half is just overthinking, that's because I still don't have the answers in concrete details. Nevertheless, what if I fall down again, what would I do now?
Get up, again. lol! A cycle, I know.
This is life.
Sometimes, I do blame my stupid self, but at the back of my mind is a strong voice justifying my actions and decisions. That voice, is the positive side of myself looking at the brighter side of things and situations. And, this will be the driving force to keep on moving on.
I like this quote from Einstein, a genius yet his wisdom about life is so simple.
“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.”
― **Albert Einstein**
So, this is how to balance things. Move and keep living.
A short and simple, inspiring article for y'all. I hope you find this motivating. And, remember, no matter what kind of lemon life throws at you, be resourceful in making a lemonade.
Then, we can get a glass. Cheers!
Heaps of thanks for the upvotes, and for reading and commenting.
Have a wonderful weekend ahead!

Torn Between Not and Knots
Hola! Readcashers! Como estas todos!
The bliss of social media give us opportunities to interact people from all around the world. In noise.cash recently, I had a fun interaction with a Spanish speaking user of the platform, and I have to go on translating her language to English to meet both ends, lol! That was fun learning, though the words retained in my memory were only "Como estas" and "Gracias." The next time I'll multiply those words to a hundred and you'll be surprised! haha!
Back to my topic, verily, just a couple of things I wish to share with you all for this free writing part of the week. Let's go!
Between Not or Whatever
Today, I had a little argument with our supervisor regarding her decision making about our patient load. Actually, it happened yesterday and I didn't get a chance to talk to her because my schedule won't allow me to drop by the hospital. So, today I confronted her when I got the chance. She kept insisting on about the "patient's right," but she missed my point that as health workers our patients need to know beforehand what's the best treatment and option for them before expressing his/her right for treatment. Moreover, that is also **our responsibility to make patients understand the situation medically**. Anyway, I don't want to go into detail, but that was my point in questioning her "decision making." In my understanding, she just decides based on what the patient like, like "I feel that I like this, "I want this and that." Seriously?! A patient needs an explanation why these things are done, we don't conform to it directly.
I was really disappointed. Decision making in medical practice should not be based on feelings alone, and not about people pleasing. The health and welfare of the patient should be a priority. So, I was torn between, to drop the issue and not tell our doctor about it, or call the patient and explain, or not or whatever. I don't know, maybe I just have to slide this off and hope for the best - for everyone.
Between Knots
Anyway, for a couple of days I've been working back to my yarns. Yah! I have those skillful hands, I guess, lol! Some years back, I've learned to crochet from my classmate in college. I was able to make a small handbag, and cellphone case, I hope to show it to you, but I could no longer find it in my dresser.
I'm making this mask headband strap, with the help of some YouTube tutorials I was able to decipher how those knots go from one end to the next. I have completely abandoned this hobby for a century, lol! and had forgotten how to start it and how to turn from one line to another. Well, after the tutorial I was able to relearn again the easy and those basic patterns. Looking back, I can't believe that I actually made a handbag out of the yarns, it's a tedious process for me now.
Why the mask strap? Apparently, for like almost two years now of using the mask for hours everyday, there are times that the skin folds of my ears gets painful. The strap would then help secure the mask in place without attaching it to the ears. Honestly, I don't like the presence of the straps because it's just another annoying thing attached to my head, but, I don't have much choice to alleviate the pain the mask brings. At least, I can do something about the discomfort. So, I'm just bringing this strap with me and wear it when the need arise.
I have seen those plastic mask headband straps from online shops and tried using one too, but the plastic was hard enough to create another source of pain in the area. So, I have decided to make this one and I find the crochet straps more comfortable that the plastic ones.
Great idea, eh?
"I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision."
— **Maya Angelou** https://www.goodreads.com/author/quotes/3503.Maya_Angelou
I leave you with this quote, and remember we need some kindness in making decisions for others. We don't decide and push them to a disastrous situation.
Spread the love!

Clean Little Hands
The Covid19 pandemic has been so much overwhelming for a lot of us, for almost two years now, it impacted our lives big time.
I admit, this pandemic changed a lot of things and plans in my life. If adults like me endured a huge impact, how much more the kids. Those babies born during this time of pandemic and had grown up learning the new normal things we lived with now.
I stumbled upon this video on YouTube about this little girl, perhaps she's around 2 years old. Please watch this short video of this cute toddler who thinks that some things around her are sanitizers to clean her little hands.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sN_TMgf5Ogg
So, I have mixed emotions watching this video. It's funny, but at the same I feel sad for this little girl. This must be one of the effect being born at this time of pandemic. At this age, kids learn by observing the environment and the people around them and undeniably this is us, constantly cleaning and disinfecting our hands as protocols to avoid contacting this unseen virus.
Before this pandemic started, you would see toddlers play and hop around in sidewalks like this, they care less about what they touched on the ground, on benches, and every single thing around them. Parents would care less too, because this was normal back then. Now, adults carrying children with them would get paranoid in public places about what they touched, and we become cautious of people who sneeze or cough in public.
If this scenario persists, maybe kids will think too, that our nose and mouth are private parts that needs to be covered, lol! Funny indeed, but, the human brain is so complex in learning and grasping information that surrounds it, we can either learn the good, the bad, the weird and the worst.
Anyway, let's not dwell on the bad or worse. I want to think of the positive impact this pandemic may bring to children, as they say, let's look into the brighter side of things. The thought that children and adults had become conscientious about cleanliness is impeccable. Before, I would constantly remind my nephews and niece to wash hands before eating, now it seems it had become a habit for them to clean their hands before every meal. The transformation in the smallest of things like hand hygiene has improved at least significantly.
I would like to drop this very common and overly used phrase here;
**"Cleanliness is next to godliness."**
Also, this nursery rhyme "Clean Little Hands" subconsciously teaches the children that cleanliness is good and admirable.
**"I have two hands, the left and the right**
**Hold them up high, so clean and bright**
**Clap them softly**
**One, two, three**
**Clean little hands are good to see"**
I remember in my childhood, our teacher would always emphasize the value of cleanliness. Apparently, these echoes to our way of life, most importantly at this time of pandemic, that cleanliness should also be a moral obligation.
This would be it for now. Stay safe wherever you are and always clean those little hands.

From Campus To Online/ Module Cheating
I was once a clinical instructor before in one of the private institution in the city (read my story on My First Job in The Academe). During that period of time, I was astonished at the rampant cheating taking place with the students in the classrooms and in the campus. https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/my-first-job-in-the-academe-a0f29654
Being a student, I could only remember sharing answers with my classmates on our assignments and some projects. It was seemed so hard to be cheating in exams in one seat apart or worst testpapers in set A and set B. Our Anatomy class moving exam will never give us a chance to answer, but just to startle us to literally "move" lol! Practical and revalida exams will only shed light for some tips and hints, and unfortunately, still no chance to cheat.
Still, I think, every student cheats in one way or another. One big reason for cheating is that they see their peers getting away with it.
Campus Cheating
There must be a lot of ways on how to cheat, students are so innovative and creative in this aspect. Students looked over each other's shoulder, devised coughing codes to communicate with friends, and flashed answers on the backs of their hands while pretending to stretch.
I once caught one of my students using his cellphone to send answers via text message to a friend's phone. The code "28-2," meaning the answer to question number 28 was letter B. I immediately confiscated the test paper and gave both 5, this is F in some universities.
In a Philosophy class, two students turned in homework essays that were almost identical. The professor reported this incident to the college dean for investigation, and both students were suspended and given 5 for the course.
Incidents such as these are all too common. In recent years, many colleges and universities have reported a surge in plagiarism, unauthorized collusion on assignments and cheating on tests.
In the Koren Drama, Law School, one student so much admired in the campus for being intelligent, was caught plagiarizing a case study. She even tried to cover her cheating act by inadvertently covering a crime. Wow! I was dumbfounded how cunning some intelligent people are!
Online/ Module Cheating
Nowadays, learning academically has become hilarious with the new ways of learning especially in children. I have heard a lot of parents answering modules for their children. My brother, who is also a father, mostly busy with work have to rush answering some unanswered parts of his daughters module just to complete it during the submission day. The same scenario with a colleague of mine who has been preoccupied most of the days with work too, have to answer her son's module task. According to her, most of the lessons were just so difficult for a second grade schooler. Sometimes, she needs to use the internet to cram for additional information.
I've seen this meme in Facebook, and this might be one comical scenario of a student in an online class with his mom watching him. Poor kid, but this can be real in anyone's home.
My nephew already in middle school sometimes resorts to his classmates group chat to answer questions during online examinations. Most of his essay tasks were checked by yours truly, lol! For the reason that he struggles with how the questions are formulated. Seriously, I even have trouble comprehending all those stuffs. Sometimes, I wonder if I have ever encountered such lessons in my high school, because some are really mind boggling.
These are forms of cheating, but, parents rationalize it as a way to survive schooling for their children at this time of pandemic. This is a sad excuse, but a reality for all of us.
Closing Thoughts
While this surge in cheating has been blamed on many factors, including a declining emphasis on moral values in the home and school. Also, with the internet, students have access to a treasure-full of information they can pinch without proper attribution. There is that feeling about the internet that information is out there for everybody to use as they see it fit.
Well, I just hope that there is still learning despite all these things happening.
I can only hope.
Thanks for reading everyone!
Take a good rest now and may you have all the strength you need for another busy week of work and earning. xo

If I Were A Crocodile
When I stumbled upon the new prompt of PromplyJonica: If I Were, it reminded me of this song and what a wonderful feeling again to be grateful being me.
Before starting off, let me park this video here from Youtube, so you can enjoy listening to it while reading this article.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-nb5CR1uec
Some years back, we have visited this place in Davao City, Philippines - Davao Crocodile Park, and my friends and I were kidding what a lonely life this animal has been living.
The crocodile being endangered nowadays are being conserved and propagated in this park, so, I bet there are a few of this specie dwelling on swamp and rivers today. No wonder I can see a lot of people swimming in rivers nowadays, crocodiles are living in the Crocodile Park, lol!
Back in the days, during summer vacations, my cousins and I would love to play in the river. There is a tree near the river that kids used to climb and jump off to the waters. We would run back and forth to climb and jump again, it's a fun childhood moment. But, sadly, we only experienced it once. We got a good scolding when my grandmother saw us swim in the river. Since then, she would scare us off with her stories about the scary crocodile, so we would not attempt to go for a swim in the river again.
Places To Visit in Davao City, Philippines https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/places-to-visit-in-davao-city-philippines-54acd22c
If I were a crocodile, I won't be hiding in the swamp, I would love to play with the kids and show off my healthy conical teeth. That great smile would be a marvel in the world to see.
If I were a kid once again and crocodiles are as friendly as me. I would sit, or lie down on his back and feel his thick, scaly skin massaging my back too. Then, my friend crocodile would tour me around the river, and cheering me up when I make a great jump off to the waters. I would count how many teeth he has and how amazing that he never got problems with it. I bet crocodiles don't need dentists, because he seems to have the natural ability to keep it strong and healthy.
Oh! Crocodiles as friendly as me won't be so lonely after all. They won't be so timid and lazy to move, because playing around with people will keep them preoccupied. Happiness is no longer in the food they devour, but in existing mutually with others.
That was my imagination as I talk to my nephew when we watched about crocodiles on TV. Mine was a totally opposite perspective. I hope I can bring my little nephew to the Crocodile Park in Davao City when the pandemic is over. That would be an awesome experience for him. Kids nowadays have so little time to explore other things being trapped in the four small corners of the house. What a shame!
My Thoughts:
We can be different with one another, but there is always beauty in our uniqueness.
I love this children's song, If I Were a Butterfly, because it reminded me that with every flaw we have, we need to grateful for who we are today. I don't need to be perfect, I can't wait to be rich, and I don't need to be brilliant to thank God that I am existing wonderfully as I am.
Embrace it!

Day Off Surprises
Hola beautiful souls!
Today was supposed to be my off duty from work, but, I have an important errand to do out of town, so I'm a busy bee, and my weary soul will be hitting the sack as soon as I finished composing this posting for today.
Doze off while traveling. Why not?
Around 10am today, I went to Cagayan de Oro City for the renewal of my professional license. I arrived past 1pm since I commute on this trip and I have to endure transferring from one vehicle to another plus the traffic to reach my destination. Thank God, the bus was not crowded, and of course I sleep for about an hour along the way, just woke up when the steward called all passengers to get out and submit for inspection in a checkpoint by the Philippine police and the Covid19 Inter Agency Task Force (IATF).
I dropped by to the mall near the office of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) for lunch. My appointment in PRC will be at 4pm, so I roam around some shops a bit before heading for the renewal. Mind you, I booked this appointment last June 2021 and I really tried to get a schedule in the PRC branch in my hometown but It was always full even until next year! Imagine?! That's how they limit the people they entertained in a day at this time of pandemic. Sigh. This schedule was the closest and it's in Cagayan de Oro, no choice at all.
A selfie in the restroom
I went there 30 minutes early and the guard allowed me to get inside the office and start processing. I was in the window with the teller for renewal in less than 15 minutes, I was asked about any certificates for the Continuing Professional Development (CPD), but I don't have any, she let me sign an undertaking to submit 35 units in my next license renewal, that would be in 2024. Goodness! I would be spending so much money for that 35 units in the next 3 years. Anyway, I thought everything was fine, however, when she noticed the photo I uploaded online was the same as last 2018, she told me to change it with a recent photo, well, I can do a quick selfie though, but, the problem now is a white background. I went out of the PRC office, and back to the mall's ladies room, I spotted a perfect spot to take a selfie. My apprehension also was taking off my face mask in a crowded place, so I made sure I'll be doing my thing alone as possible to be safe. Clicked! All good. I'm done.
Delicious favorites
I took some snaps with my phone camera when I went out, the sun was still up and the sky is clear, one fine day indeed! The Lim Ket Kai complex is an organized place, though some shops were closed because of this pandemic situation, a sad sight really. I bought a couple of slippers for myself, and one for my mom and dad. Then dropped by to buy this famous delicacy originally from Camiguin, Vjandep pastel, it's a bun with sweet yema filling inside. It's delicious! Try it if you happen to visit Cagayan de Oro or Camiguin in the future.
Got trapped in the bus!
I arrived already late back here in Iligan. Surprisingly, when we're about to get off, the door of the bus got stuck! The door has this hydraulic mechanism, so there is no way to open it manually. The driver tried to maneuver sliding it outward, but it didn't move. There are no windows either on the bus, the exit according to the steward was through the roof. After a few minutes the terminal authorities went to our location to help, they signaled the driver to turn off the lights, and the bus engine itself, perhaps to conserve energy for a bit. I think that really makes sense because after 5 minutes, when the driver tried to open the door, it swayed freely and normally again. Whoa! That was quite of an experience for me and for everyone on the bus. I can hear some ladies saying not to ride the air-conditioned buses ever again, lol! That really was a traumatic experience for any claustrophobic individual, or for anyone trapped inside longer, glad it opened after several minutes!
The last part was the most exciting experience of the day, my first time ever to be trapped in a bus, or anything.
Have you experienced being trapped somewhere too? Like in a room, elevator, car, store, etc.

Connecting Under The Weather
It's raining cats and dogs and a gloomy day for me, mentally and emotionally down at the moment. So, maybe for today I'll just have to scribble some thoughts for free writing, going with the flow as I feel it.
It seems I'm under the weather today. I'm a traveling PT the entire day and I'm glad I pulled it off safely feeling literally the Monday blues, the rain that never want to stop, and my mind that wanders elsewhere. Thank God, I arrived home safe tonight, with my shoes dripping with water, and myself half soaked in the rain because I have completely forgotten my umbrella in the patient's house while I let it dry on their patio. If only the housemaid didn't fold it, then maybe I would remember. So, that's what happened if I'm under the weather and my neurons aren't up and well.
Well, I've seen this person in the mall's food court sitting comfortably on the floor, perhaps sleeping or thinking, I don't know. I let him be. I realized that this man might be feeling a bit sad and blue too. However, I envy him because he was almost lying on the floor doing nothing else than conforming to what he was feeling. I hope I could do that too today, but NO. I have to get up, move, wear that motivated look and vibe, then pretend that everything is all right.
Right now, actually, I am upset. I just feel a bit suffocated, not with the face mask and face shield I am wearing almost 10 hours a day, but with life and everything. I'm just tired. I think, I had a home run with reality. This pandemic, my future plans, family, responsibilities, work and all are suffocating me emotionally. Last night, I cry it out to the Lord. I've read some verses about His faithfulness, I was comforted as I sleep, but, today I'm back in my shackles. My shoulders are heavy, my mind is clouded, and honestly wearing a long face. I was working and pretending to be okay, for my patients to feel at ease with me too. That's how we SHOULD be at work. I'm glad that on this platform, I can be real.
Real people do pretend sometimes to deal with life's challenges. It can be irritating sometimes, but this is how it should be. The other night I had a confrontation with my youngest sister and my mom sided with her telling me to drop the topic, when I just tried to advise her that she should be serious in looking for a job again because this pandemic will stay for long. And, I am concerned about her lifestyle nowadays, she's very sedentary for a year now! Unfortunately, I was nagged to mind my own business, well, I just hope that I could do the same if she get sick from what she's doing. In this situation, I can't pretend to be dumb, I know a sedentary lifestyle would do no good, so I have to speak out. I'm just stating facts.
**"Open rebuke is better than secret love."** - Proverbs 27: 5
Facts can hurt us, but if we accept them with an open mind, then perhaps it would give us an imperative call for something better. I understand, that our emotions can go wild when confronted, however, I hope that they will understand that I'm just worried about how long she should be living idle. In my free writing article last week, I have mentioned about our youngest joining noise.cash. I am hoping that she could at least earn, get out for a walk and find inspiration on what to post, etc. Unfortunately, she finds it boring and still loves to do what she's doing - doing nothing productive at all.
All in all, I got bummed and my mind wanders unsteadily into confusion, fear, doubts, frustration and disappointments, triggered by that simple confrontation. This is just me and my melancholic/ choleric temperament, I guess, getting a hold on me.. Or maybe I'm just thinking a lot??
Lots of thanks to everyone again for reading! I tried the challenge of connecting the last word of every paragraph to the next, and I think I made it! lol! I have seen this writing challenge first from @Codename_Chikakiku, and today from @Jane. This is fun and I'll be fine. Thanks again!

September In A Roller Coaster
Oh, well! September is over, and that was like a roller coaster ride touch on life in particular.
How was your September, fellas! I have read some recaps about this months earnings virtually, from my friends in this part of the world, and congratulations to all of us! This platform never ceases to bring forth blessings, by God's grace. Thank you read.cash!
Okay, bear with me bringing up heaps of gratefulness for this platform, noise.cash and to all my sponsors, supportive friends and readers. I only do this once in a while, lol! So, yes, thank you everyone!
`Thank you very much for renewing your sponsorship! xoxo`
Lonesome Week 1
Being quarantined is lonesome. First week of September, I was still in quarantine and my Ready to Rumble murmurs were all over the four corners of my room. However, this platform and noise keep me company. During the entire time, I was able to write daily and felt really fulfilling to be doing it for the first time, it seems my mind was all set to write. Usually, my day job really robs all my strength for the day, thus I try to write every other day to balance everything physically, mentally and socially. I am amazed with myself to be writing daily that entire ordeal, I think I am normal like some of my friends here on the platform, lol! I admire y'all! So, the quarantine was not that lonesome with this platform keeping me busy. Thank you for hearing me venting out sometimes. https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/ready-to-rumble-e2333189
8th is Freedom
I was free from quarantine on the 8th of September after a negative RT-PCR test. Yey! Freedom is the sweetest indeed. To be able to work again on that day was even great because we were happy celebrating The World Physiotherapy Day! https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/happy-world-physiotherapy-day-12fc9d1f
This pandemic might have caused a huge blow to our work, plans, life, living, economy and all, but we still have to make it work the best way possible for our sanity.

Celebrations for Week 2
A week long of reading inspiring articles about celebration, thanksgiving, gratefulness, for life, family, friends and community. This started when I made a post about the giveaway for My Read.Cash 1 Year Anniversary, I'm so grateful for everyone who participated the celebration with 23 articles from that same number of users in the platform. Celebrations are blessings, give thanks! Thank you! https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/my-readcash-1-year-anniversary-finale-3743a478
Gloomy Week 3
Bad news sprung like mushrooms on the 3rd week of Monsoon Rain and In Between September. It's a sad week for me and gloomy too, the news of loved ones who succumed to Covid19 was depressing. Last week, I was able to talk with my cousin who lost her husband from that dreadful virus, and her words struck me so hard. She said, *"everything happened in a blink of an eye."* Death is unbelievable, yet, so ordinary nowadays. https://read.cash/@LykeLyca/monsoon-rain-and-in-between-b04af4dd
So, so Week 4
The last week of September was so so. Work here and there, write and finish something, and ~~play some games~~, nah no games just binge watching the trending and controversial Squid Game. This got me preoccupied last week, it's a horrifying and ridiculous emotional ride, however, in touch with reality, life and choices. That was a crazy game, good story, amazing characters, and yes, I'm staying tuned for the next season. I don't want to spoil you, just watch it. Netflix has the English dubbed version, no more annoying subtitles.
That would be a recap I wanted to make for September.
Thanks for reading again, beautiful souls!
Let's bloom together this October!

Airdrop Post: Let's Go To Dumaguete City, Philippines
Yellow, everyone!
I mean, hello! That actually reminds me of my cousin’s little girl that would babytalk in her greetings, yellow! Lol!
So, I happened to read an article of @CoquiCoin regarding her wonderful travel to Istanbul, also to participate in an airdrop initiated by @nomadghada. I wish to follow suit, therefore, this article is for that same purpose and, of course, travel with me virtually to Dumaguete City, Philippines!
Dumaguete City is one of the laid back cities in the southern part of the Visayas. From my hometown, we travelled by bus to Dapitan, part of Zamboanga City, then a 4-hour boat ride to Dumaguete. This way is a cheaper route for us, than by plane, but, if you’re from Manila, then flying would be your fast and best option. Travelling there has been fun since I have five of my colleagues in the Rehab Medicine Department with me. The main purpose was actually to attend a 3-day seminar held in Silliman University and we’re all glad that it has been held in a beautiful and historic place that we also wanted to tour around, thus after the event, we stayed a day more to enjoy the city and its tourist destinations nearby.
Silliman University
One of the oldest universities in the Philippines established in 1901, and its campus is so huge that you have to ride a vehicle to transfer from one building to another, like those great universities elsewhere. The lecture and training we attended was held on the ground floor of the oldest building - called the Silliman Hall, which is now the Silliman University Heritage Museum.
We were so amazed how this building has been preserved for generations. The architecture is extraordinary and the stories were even historical being one of the places occupied by the Japanese forces in World War II.
One thing I love existing in the campus are the trees and vast green landscapes. Nature still thrives in this growing university.
This is still part of the main campus, at the center is the Silliman University Church. I hope I could get a blue backdrop of the sky, but the weather that time wasn't really great.
Pulang Bato Waterfalls Valencia
Pulang Bato, when translated in English, is red rock. Literally, the waterfall was surrounded by natural red rocks. This is just a 30-minute ride from Dumaguete City and the road is accessible for vehicles. The water might look red too, but, actually it's crystal clear, the reddish appearance is brought about by the red rock reflection in the water.
There is a pool built near the area that is ideal for swimming. Also, just a kilometer away from the falls is the Red Rock Hot Spring, where one can enjoy a dip from the waters of Pulang Bato River. We did not swim, but we tried to test the water in the Hot Spring and indeed, it is warm perhaps at around 36-38 degrees Celcius.
Tierra Alta Residential Resort
This is still located in Valencia, Negros Oriental and just half an hour away from Dumaguete City. I love the tranquility of this place, living here is really peaceful and cozy because of the vast location. However, I bet on a high price because it was well developed, secured and all.
I love the beautiful designs and landscape of the place. Everything compliments the main attraction of the resort which is the lighthouse.
The resort is so ideal for special occasions like weddings because of the great ambiance and unique beauty of the place. It has a pool too that is great for swimming and of course, picture perfect too! The place is magical in events, been following their page on Facebook and I am always in awe of this place. https://www.facebook.com/tierraaltaresort
When visiting Dumaguete City, it will be easy to jump to an island just near. A boat ride will take you to a paradise in Siquijor, or go for an island hopping in Apo Island for the Turtle Sanctuary, and the Manjuyod Sandbar and experience Dolphin watching.
We love to visit all these places, but due to time constraint, we miss those island adventures. Maybe next time, after the pandemic, let's go explore this amazing part of the Philippines!
Thanks for taking the tour with me!
If you wish to participate on the airdrop, you can read the mechanics from here. https://read.cash/@nomadghada/nomadcoin-airdrop-website-launch-e8f93797
There's a recent post from @nomadghada that the airdrop will run in a few days more, so, good luck!

How To Be Famous?
Before the era of social media, thinking about getting famous, you would consider, that it’s free to dream. Back then, only the people in politics and on the television were famous. No one else.
However, nowadays, social media like Facebook, YouTube, Instragram, Twitter and the like, can help you get famous. A lot of people today are feeling like celebrities and influencers, undermining what kind of content are they showing. You can be famous - no longer a dream!
This evening, I stumbled upon a content from KMJS - Kapuso Mo Jessica Sojo. This is one of the famous documentary TV shows in the Philippines that I do watch sometimes. In the post, the show featured "Bingo Girl" the name of a Facebook page, of a teen perhaps 18 years of age who got famous of her dancing. She calls it "kaldagan" and I actually don't know what term or dialect it was. As I see it, this girl simply dances and gyrating with her sexy clothes on. She invites video calls from viewers that would dance with her, and mind you some are minors! She claimed herself as a game streamer, but, unfortunately in every 3-4-hour live video she made, I think, 99% of it was dancing.
Was she famous? Definitely! Even got a hitch of publicity from KMJS. But, seriously, I don't think this has significance or moral lesson to learn about people, nature, environment, or life in general. I used to think that documentaries would give us insight about those impactful stories. Well, perhaps the show did showcase that this is one of the easiest ways to be famous. Anyone can call me old fashion, but the videos are displayed publicly and it is not worth emulating by all users in Facebook, especially the kids.
One time, while browsing around Facebook, I bumped into this beautiful girl on her live video, again dressed in sexually appealing top. I was surprised that she called her mom, so ecstatic when her viewers reached a thousand, and the mom was even more happy! I was shocked in disbelief, I thought parents were unaware what this girl was doing, looks like the mother encourages her daughter too!
I have a 7 year old niece who loves to scan over the Facebook of her dad, and I am hoping that she won't come across any video of girls like Bingo Girl. Also, my niece loves to watch Cocomelon cartoons and I was shocked to see another sexy dancing game streamer that uses "cocomelon"hashtag on her videos objectifying her breasts. Just ridiculous!
How to get famous? So, lame and easy nowadays. Create a Facebook or Twitter account, add friends, followers, and whoever you feel like can feed your hunger for attention and self gratification. Upload your beautiful and sexy photos/ videos and campaign a flood of likes/ share and etc. Now, you’re famous! Congratulations!
Popularity and money must be so enticing, but I hope social media avenues can filter contents like the ones I mentioned in this article. Images, videos, and any online content should be properly moderated with safety filters. And, as content creators, we must be conscientious in appropriating our posts in safe or mature levels. Sadly, most of these girls don't know about it, ignorant and misguided.
While people love to go public, do you know that celebrities crave privacy? Do you know that privacy is so expensive for them? It is such a pity to see them having that kind of pressure, that even your private life got magnified by people.
So, how do you want to be famous?
Something random for today, that I guess I should just take the green light (red light, lol!) for publishing...
Thanks for dropping by, reading, and commenting! xoxo

Backyard Boy
Today, I had a last song syndrome with this song. Though, I am not familiar with the lyrics, and if I do maybe I could not follow through the singing of this talented girl. I can only hum *"da da da da da da da da da da da da,"* lol!
So, let me share this song here for you to listen, while I write about the backyard boy.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mbj26vHDMII
In my younger years I have this guy neighbor just a couple of years older than me, and let me hide his identity by the name, Ted.
Ted, is not so handsome though, but he looks definitely sleek and neat with his white marine uniform. Actually, I didn't notice him at first because back in my student days I was a bit serious and stiff in my studies. Moreover, as the eldest I was preoccupied with responsibilities. The one who had a crush on Ted was my classmate, that lived just a few blocks away from our house. At school, she kept asking me about Ted, yet I don't have much to tell about him.
The one closest to me was the elder sister of Ted, Tess (not her real name). She adores our youngest sister and would constantly drop by the house to borrow my baby sister who was 2 years old that time. I, for sure, love the thought that she would take our youngest to their home so I could sneak out to play with my friends in the neighborhood. Yep, in middle school, I still loved to play patintiro. I still have that playful spirit with me, unlike most high schoolers nowadays who are so much preoccupied rushing to adulting stuffs, tiktok, crushes, online games, etc.
Anyway, back to our neighbor, every time I went to their house to check on my baby sister, I only had a glance or hi/hello with Ted. Nothing much really because I'm not attracted to him either. One weekend my friend and classmate who had a crush on Ted came to visit me. When she knew that I would be going to Ted's house to fetch baby sis, her eyes grew wide in excitement, lol! She insisted to go with me and so we went from their backyard door, because it's more accessible from ours too. That was a dream come true for her, I guess, being close to Ted for a minute when I introduced her to him in the dining area.
The next day while Ted was about to leave for school, I was outside too waiting for our school service. He never hesitated to talk with me about my friend whom he thought was "feeling close" to him. I was taken aback by what he said, at the back of my mind Ted was somewhat conceited. I know, my friend was head over heels for him, but I don't think it's appropriate to foul talk my friend to me, her best friend! However, I thought I should not make a big deal out of it. So, my lips were sealed.
A Few months later, was my best friend's birthday. She wanted to invite Ted to her party, so she gave me this paper with a short note and forced me to give it to him before her special day. It was written:
*Hi Ted,*
*I would like to invite you to eat our house tomorrow at 6PM.*
`FYI, English is not our native language. So, my friend, I bet, really tried to make a good invitation for him, regrettably, wrong grammar. sigh.`
I didn't open the letter to read it, and I'm not that nosy too. So, I gave it to Ted that same afternoon when I arrived from school. Face Palm**
Okay, I admit that was funny, I laughed a bit when Ted laughed about the note too. But, I was ashamed for my friend. I really pity her. In my mind, I'm juggling the situation- what if I could've read it first? How should I tell her? How would she react?
Fast forward.
Today, my bestfriend is working in a BPO company in a managerial position. I bet she would laugh all about it now.
Ted, was still the backyard boy in our neighborhood. He graduated a college degree, but can't get a decent job.
Now, let me go back singing *"da da da da da da da da da da,"* haha!
I hope y'all like the song, the melody does loosen up my mood and gives good vibes.
Just something light for today. Thank you for dropping by!

Deceived By Knockoffs
Nowadays, knockoffs are everywhere. Sometimes, it's hard to decipher the real and the fake ones just on the very limited images and information provided by the seller or the provider online. Oftentimes, we fall into these scams because of some testimonials that are just overwhelming. And, sometimes we fall into it because we're just diving by instincts. We miss to scrutinize it, or maybe we did, but miss some things somehow because we're just like that - humans. Yah, lame excuse. But, we all are!
Simply means, lies and deceptions are everywhere too. It varies in severity and in forms, yet, still a lie. It can go far from the petty lies we have at home to the worst of all elsewhere - on the internet, in most social media platforms, from the betrayal we get from our friends and even from the people we trust so much in our lifetime.
A Few years back, I happened to join on one great make believe multi-level business thriving virtually. I don't want to name it, but the catch it this, by signing up and doing the business the company will train you into an online entrepreneur. Great right?! But, no. After I paid the handsome amount of P3,000 or roughly $59+, I realized that the business aspect was just about recruiting people to join you and earn from a percentage from those people. We are selling e-books and training videos as they say, but actually, we are selling in leverage for the owner. The training to make me an online entrepreneur is just a ladder to continually buy e-books and training videos from the owner. All in all, I have realized in a week or so, that my money have been spent to a knock off. I don't think I can go on deceiving people just by showing them those emotionally hype videos of earning so much money. It's a shame that the people in this company have to go through a cycle of lies and manipulation just to earn. Just absurd.
Lies are prevalent everywhere. Most online shopping sites, offers some knock offs too. Just recently, I bought a bluetooth speaker that is malfunctioning. I have to go through the hassle of returning the product because the item is just useless. Also, my brother opted to order in one famous and legit clothing brand online too, hoping that this won't be another knock off in our pocket, however, when it arrived the shoes was of smaller size. Oh man! I thought this one could be processed easily. How easy for them to sort out the size, style and color? Right?!
At home, the little girl of my brother, my niece, knows how to lie now as I noticed. The other day, I discovered several plastic trash of junkfoods and candies hidden under the sofa, where she loved to sit while watching TV. I asked her who kept those trash under the chair and she said a big NO. When I told everyone that I will remove the sofa in the living room if I see litters of junkfood and candies again, she throws a tantrum and even told her dad that I accused her of doing it. So, yes, these little souls lie to make up a good excuse. Somehow, we have to teach them that it's wrong, moreover, we have to lead them by example.
This world is full of deception and lies. It is never easy to fall into these traps. Like in my previous experience, it's a pain to see your finances gone into nothing. Furthermore, your time and effort was irreplaceable, you can't turn back the time and amend your mistakes. The only consolation we'll get would be the experience and lessons we learn in that process.
Have you been a victim of scams too?
