Growing up in my childhood, I never believe in ghost and in any paranormal stories that I often see in the movies and on TV. Must be because I never encountered any of such terrifying event in my life. The only frightening experience I could remember are in my dreams, and nothing from reality.
But, that was before my fourth year in College.
During college days, in my fourth year to be exact, my friends in the course were mostly my buddies too in overnight group study and research. We're all outgoing and fun, however, we also compliment each others strengths and weaknesses as students. In short, we have each other's back all throughout time. But, one stood out from the five of us, her name is Ana and she can see ghosts.
Ana is a silent average girl, for the entire semester we never knew that she has this gift, or whatever you call that, some call it the third eye or the sixth sense, to be exact the ability to see ghosts. Yes, she can actually talk to them too. Weird, but we have lots of experiences with her in this aspect as part of the friendship.
In one of the course in Physical Therapy, we have the opportunity to work in a real human cadaver to study vividly and closely the human anatomy. And, in our fourth year, the Anatomy Laboratory has been our constant dwelling place, at first it's really strange, but when we got compromised with a red mark in our test paper, every eerie feeling disappears, we can easily brush it off just to pass the subject.
Encounter with the Cadaver
One time, Ana told me and one of our friends that she somehow have seen the face of the human cadaver we are working with. I blurted out, how could she be so sure when the face was covered ever since we started dissecting, and she defended that before we cut the skin of the cadaver in the left thigh just above the knee was a tattoo that resembles a bird flying. And, at that very moment, Ana told us that she could see a man holding a ball standing near the door, wearing a jersey shirt and short, with that same tattoo we saw from the cadaver beforehand.
We didn't mind her and we just continued studying for the muscles. Ana and the rest of us had forgotten about it too, especially when the schedule for the moving exam was already posted.
Gasping for Air
The exam date came, and the five of us came early in the classroom near the Anatomy Laboratory for a quick review. When all five of us were seated, Ana forced us to quickly leave the room and come back later when the rest of our classmates arrives. When we asked her why, she calmly told us that one female ghost was crying in the room and glanced angrily at us when we arrived. The five of us ran down the stairs from the fourth floor to the basement of the building, gasping for air.
Since that incident, we requested Ana not to tell us if she noticed something strange. We thought that maybe it would be better just to ignore it. Ana agreed half-heartedly, perhaps she undoubtedly knew that we don't want any ghosts or any of such things to interfere with our reviews and studies. Seriously, who would want to fail just because of these ghosts, right?
BOO!!!
For a few months, we barely had an experience of those strange things, Ana never bothered telling or warning us too. However, before the end of our fourth year, we had this project to clean the cadaver of its flesh and leave all the bones clean and assemble it precisely back in its place. This is a class project and the cadaver was divided in regions to be assigned in every group to work closely into. The class devoted an overnight stay in the school campus, for a thorough cleaning of the cadaver, some students installed tents, and some stayed in the fourth floor- same classroom beside the anatomy laboratory. And I am one of the students who took a nap in the room at a wee hour that morning.
I think there were fifteen students in the room that time, some had a chit chat, some were brainstorming, some had a snack, and myself on a "supposed" power nap. Then, the light in the room flickers and everyone seemed to ignore it.
A few seconds after, we heard a loud bang on the door, perhaps the one from the laboratory, and then suddenly my classmate sitting near the door, saw a ball thrown in the air and hit forcefully on the floor. That very moment everyone, including me, was so frightened. We gazed at each other in complete shock, wondering where the ball came from! Without any fuss, we moved out of the room quickly as if someone had just rebuked us to LEAVE.
My mind tells me, that must be him.
To be continued.
See you in the second part and perhaps the last one.
I still have memories with Ana and her adventures ghosting, literally and technically speaking, lol! So, stay tuned!

Katakot naman yung experiences niyo. Pero reading this naalala ko yung isang Kdrama napanood ko noon yung He is Psychometric. Drama lang pero nakakatakot yung magdidisect or magiinvestigate sa isang patay. đ°
