I don't know when exactly it all started but, I think I was in high school. Before our own doesn't have our own Plaza yet. The place where Plaza de Bansud was located was just a field of grass where a lot of cows and carabao will be seen. But our Mayor developed that field of grass into a beautiful "Plaza de Bansud." It still has those big trees that serves as umbrella of BansudeΓ±os when they visit it or any other visitors.
That place also become the venue of different events on our town, especially in Fiesta. And because the date in fiesta is on January, the decoration that they put on December was still there and it will stay there until they want it, except on the "Banderitas" off course. And they will add a lot of more decoration in it. Different food stalls and other stall will be seen. Even if the fiesta is still two weeks away, they will ready it for the people.
A lot of people from closed town will also visit here, specially on the day of Fiesta. Where our Mayor will invites a Band or any other performer. Some singer artist and more. Just last year, January 2020 , they invited Vice Ganda and a band was December Avenue to perform in our Town. And lot of people watch and visit our town. They are all excited na "di mahulugang karayom" ang mga tao wew. Our town is jusy the best, only our town can do that, that is why we are all happy that we choose the right mayor.
Anyway, that was a long intro. Let me share to you this memorable experience with Dayana and one of ou friends. This happen year 2013. I was in Second Year college back the. Can't tell if it was first or second semester but, I think second π€. Ah, whatever. So Me and Dayana plan to watch some events on Plaza. Actually, our Fiesta was celebrated for 3 days, 1117, 18 amd the main even is on 19. We watch the Miss. Teen Bansud 2013, some singing contest and more. I also remember that even if it rains a little we still continue watching on the contest.
And then January 19 came, the main events we are all waiting. And because that time, we can't afford to rent a table with chair, we are just watching them from afar. But we're okay with it because there's a screen where we can still see their faces. And the most important is, we can here them LIVE singing our favorite songs. We are screaming our lungs out because of kilig lol. We just can't move closer to them because they made a bamboo barricade for those who pay for their chair and table lol.
You can still watch them, hear them but you have to stand. Or, you can just bring your own chair so that you can enjoy it while sitting and at the same time clinging at your boyfriend, juwa or bestfriend with benefits or your ka-MU who doesn't know the word LABEL π. I saw a lot of couple who's really clinging to each other, and it is really an eyesore, seriously. Me and Dayana choose the right side of the venue where we can still see the band, I saw that Buwi on his guitar and I find h really cool and hot.
Dayana really loves Parokya ni Edgar, she's a big fan. That's why, she has her phone on her while filming them. She's really excited. To be honest, I don't know much about them that time. All I know is that, they are a great band because of their song "Buloy." We have a tape of their song actually and Mom also play them on our Cassette but I still don't know much about them. I only know a few songs of them because of my brother. Same with Dayana, when I asked her some time ago to put a songs on my memory card she included some of their songs.
And because of that, they become one of my favorite, same with Kamikazee and Siakol π. So, anyway, a lot of people is watching, they are all excited watching them, it's loud and the speaker is like a roaring thunder, lol. It's good but because we are also close in the speaker, I feel like my ears will burst any moment that time. But it's okay, I'm still enjoying it, there's no different when I used a headphone on my ears and hit it on a full volume.
And while everyone is busy, Dayana is also busy but we are moving little by little closer to the stage. Until we reached that barricade and sneak inside. We're not the only one who did it actually, lol. And because of that Dayana felt more happy because we are so close to them. They are shouting, so do I. We are loud and free and it the most memorable experience I ever had with my friend. We finish all of the song that Parokya ni Edgar sang and we went home at 3 A.M lol. Good thing is, I have my own keys on our home and I always brought it with me, until today, hehe.
