How The Water Damaged My Phone What will you do if your phone drops off the water? Almost 100% of us will agree that we'll panic and grab our phones immediately. That's what happened to me last week *(Friday)*. I dropped my phone at the basin while doing some laundry. After I picked it up, all I could say was **"Game over"**. Every photo at the gallery? Gone. Videos of my little one? Gone. Every memory I make on that phone? Gone. After stating it to my hubby, he told me how backing up all our files is very important. Well, he was a phone technician before, so I gave it to him immediately hoping he could fix it that instant. My phone didn't die after it. It's still on, so I was thinking it was just fine. He tried to shut it down at that moment. And see how deep the water goes. **My phone after it falls into the water** After my hubby removed my phone's battery, we can see how the water got into the ports jacks, and speaker. That's why shutting it down and removing the battery is very important and you should act fast, before the water flows into the circuit, and fry the circuit board. After what he did on my phone, I was confident it would be just fine. Thinking it was saved and can be used like nothing happened. And he told me how water is so dangerous on phones. Good thing it didn't fall on seawater, coz it has more chance of damaging the phone compared to fresh water. But still, I was so disappointed in myself. I blame myself because I watch videos on it while doing my laundry. 🥲 **How we fix my phone** I don't know if it's right for me to share how we saved my phone, because it's not that fine. But in case you experienced it as well, this might help you to solve it. Remember, you can't control water how deep it can get when your phone is submerged in it. So the only key to saving it is to act fast. **HOW WE RESCUE IT** 1. After it falls into the water I take it out as fast as possible, and my hubby shut it down. 2. He wiped it with a microfiber cloth with an alcohol. 3. Shaking it, making sure the water that enters it can be forced out. 4. Then he removed the battery, and the SIM cards. 5. And lastly, *(I don't know if this works in some, but this is what we did)* put my phone in our rice container. After watching some YouTube videos and suggestions, rice can pull some water out. So that's what we follow. My phone stayed there for 1 week. **What I learned after the accident** **Follow my instincts** - while watching some videos on my phone and doing some laundry at the same time, I already thought that my phone could fall into the water. But still, I allow my positive self to think that it will be fine, and nothing will happen. So next time, I'll follow my instincts and don't risk especially if it's that dangerous. So now, I experienced a week of not using my phone. And I'm telling you it's so boring, like I used to have it every single day, then in that instant, I lost it. Now it's functioning, still alive. But not as good and okay as before. It has now lines on the screen, discoloration, self-functioning like it's clicking on its own, and hard to press on some parts. So yeah, I think, I need to buy a new one. And always remind myself to be careful next time, and not drop it in the water again. **Disclaimer: Images were from Pexels and Unsplash.**

Good evening everyone. It's time to sleep, but I chose to visit this platform after a long time of ignoring it. Just curious how's it doing... but looking at it, it's performing well. That's good news. I stopped writing both in Hive and read.cash. But now after I visited both platforms, I missed every connection and activity on it, so I'm trying to connect again, and hope to write a decent article soon. 🙏

Hubby and Wife Adventures: Saturday Boodle Fight + Videoke Have you tried Boodle Fight before? This is a traditional Filipino method of eating on banana leaves without using any utensils. It means you need to eat the food there with your bare hands. Or have you tried singing in the videoke? These two things I mentioned here are what Ate Tess prepared for us. Hubby and I went to her house with the other guests this Saturday as we got invited, and let's see how we enjoyed her hospitality. As you may know, Filipinos are known for their hospitality. Every time you visit a home, expect some snacks and drinks. It's a way of showing that you're valued not just as a friend but as family. It was 11 a.m. when Hubby and I arrived safely at Ate Tess's place. The weather is so nice at that time. It's a little bit hot as the sun strikes nearly noon. Her place is so spacious that you don't have to worry about where to park your car. Sometimes, we call her place a **"Hacienda".** It's just the right term for this place as she has a large space for a plantation and a house nearby. As we approached her, it looked like we had come too earlier than the other guests. The plan was to come here before noon as we needed to help her prepare the food for lunch.  But you know **"Filipino time"**. The habit of always being late to an agreed meeting time. But let them be, as I can use my time visiting her garden and capturing those beautiful and fresh flowers. These flowers are just those common blossoms that you can find in every Filipino garden. But it looks so appealing because of how the sun shines right through them. After roaming around, finally, the other guests arrived. And so the cooking began! It was a busy noon for everyone. There are assigned for those malunggay leaves. Some brought some pork barbecue and big tilapia fish. And for our juice... There are fresh coconuts. Kuya Danny is the one who opens it. While others volunteered to strip it. A fork and spoon have been used. And here's the result: A few more coconuts have been opened and stripped then sugar and milk have been added. Plus the coconut water of course. It's the instant liquid for it. While others were so busy cooking and preparing our lunch, some chose to spend their time singing at the videoke. They take turns singing. Except for me who's not confident in singing in front of everyone. My baby seems so bored and not entertained by Kuya Danny's song. He looks so sleepy and sad. 😂 And you know what's being prepared while we're busy in this videoke? The table for a boodle fight. Here it is... 2 big banana leaves with the rice that's been scattered. Then the barbecue, tilapia, and eggplants. Another dish is added to the side like the vegetable malunggay, tinolang manok, and the cold buko juice of course. And that's the time I put down my cell phone and wash my hands. Because it's time for a boodle fight! Everybody is enjoying the food. We're sharing and munching on this whole set of rice and viand. Every food tastes so good, especially the barbecue. It's my favorite out of all. No need for the dipping sauce, because the meat itself is so tasty. Almost all of the food in the banana leaves has been consumed. And we enjoy spending our time having fun and talking. The day came to an end with our full tummy and smiles on our faces. Did I get disappointed in coming? Nope. Never. This day became a rest day for me. A day off from work. New surroundings and fresh air. Bonding moments with our friends and family. And for sure, this day will be cherished and saved in my memories forever. `Disclaimer: All photographs by me, unless otherwise stated.`

Keep writing One month has gone and I stopped writing. The reason? I just don't have the strength to do it. Maybe because I'm expecting too much, or maybe I'm just tired of writing? The other day, I tried asking the AI, to motivate me why I should continue writing. And because he's as fast as **"The Flash"**, that instant, he gave me 6 reasons why I should continue writing. Did it motivate me? Of course, it did. But I just focused and liked the reason #4. This whole week, I've been observing a farmer. His rice field was just at the back of our home. Every day, I can see how he's so motivated and consistent in his rice field journey. Now why I'm saying all of this? Just because I know for some reason that if I got demotivated on writing, maybe you are too. And if I needed some reason to continue, maybe you needed it too. So let me help and share how those random things motivate me to write and continue my read.cash journey. The man at the rice field I've learned a lot by just observing a person. The farmer behind my story is a 60-year-old man who's regularly and consistently working on his rice field. He makes sure that he uses his time wisely. Every day, I can see him on his rice field. It's either removing some weeds, plowing the rice field with his masculine and hardworking carabao, etc. He's just making sure that he's working. What a persistent man! *(Sadly, he was not here when I decided to take a picture. This is in the afternoon. Expect him in the morning.)* Now why I connected this to my writing motivation? Because I learned from him that **"Do not stop."** Owning a rice field is a big chance to earn money and to make sure his family won't starve. But is it enough to just own it? No. He needed to make an effort to prepare the land and plant on it, then he can harvest. That's what he was required to do to be able to gain the prize that he wants after buying that rice field. But what if he stops doing it? Got lazy about removing the weeds, plowing them with his carabao, and planting some crops again. Yes, the rice field was there. He still owns it. But, can he get anything while just owning it? No! It takes a lot of time and effort to get what he truly desires after buying it. Just like in writing. I found a platform that is truly paying for those who write any topic within their interest. *(A rice field for comparison.)* But joining here doesn't mean I can earn money instantly. I need to do something. Like a farmer who needs to prepare the land, remove the weeds, plow it, and plant crops. Before I gain money, of course, I need to write an article, engage, reply to their comments, and learn from others too by reading their work. In that way, I can earn the money for what my work or effort deserves. And stopping doing all of it cannot help me to get what I truly want after joining this platform. So just like the farmer who's consistently planting and harvesting, I was motivated to continue writing and earning. The #4 coming from the AI Nowadays, chatting with AI makes my life easier. I was tired of using Google if I need a direct answer. Just like what I shared earlier. I felt demotivated to write. So I ask AI to motivate me to continue my writing journey. *(Just like a friend who's ready to take any advice from the wise one.)* Then in a glimpse of an eye, the answer was there. Directly. No need to browse each link just like in Google. Because he gave me 6 reasons, I'll just share with you my favorite and what completely motivates me to continue. The #4. He says: 4. Impacting others: Your words, stories, and ideas can have a profound effect on others. Whether it is through inspiring, entertaining, or educating, your writing has the potential to touch the hearts and minds of people you've never even met. This is what I badly needed to hear or read at that time. To give me a reason to write. To give me purpose for every article I will publish. In every writing, I love expressing myself. It's either sharing what I learned, communicating my emotions, or telling my stories. Then after that, your comments are what I love to read. Whenever my story touched your heart, motivates you to do more, or learn from those personal ideas. It gives me a goal. To share my words, stories, and beliefs. Coz why not? Maybe someone needed it badly. Just maybe. If not, then at least I expressed myself. That's a healthy way of releasing stress, do you agree? So that's it. That's the 2 reasons why I'm back into writing again. Thanks to them. I'm motivated.  How about you? Did you feel the same? And how do you keep track of this long writing journey? Feel free to share what motivated you. I was curious, especially those who's been here quite long. `Disclaimer: All photographs by me, unless otherwise stated.`

Baby learning activities: Talking English What kind of educational toys or activities does your baby enjoy? And what way do you think your baby learns from those? Nowadays, educational toys come in lots of varieties. All of them are cute, and fun, and have their unique way to entertain and educate a baby. My Dad gave a gift to my little one, and it's called **"Talking English".** This one comes with 20 different topics of books and a talking pen. The books are colorful, informative, and have interesting activities. My baby enjoyed it, because of its vibrant pictures. The talking pen is what makes it special. It is a great invention that comes with the book. Every time I point it to a word, a character in the book, or a picture, it will provide the audio, a song or it will recite whatever word, sentence, or information regarding the book presents. It's cute and a great help for my baby, especially now that he's learning to speak simple words. Look how studious he is. Pretending to read at the age of 10 months. 😂 He's enjoying it. What a cutie smile because of his new book and toy. Thanks to my Dad and to those who invented this kind of educational book and talking pen. My little one can now learn independently by just using the pen and the book itself. This can prevent him from using the gadget and screen time. The things I'm trying to limit especially now that it's so easy to access. Entertaining him with the Talking English is the best way for him to learn and got familiarized with the words. Every day I allow him to choose one book to use. He got bored easily, so different books per day can entertain him, and not get tired of them. Different topics, pictures, and sounds let him learn while getting entertained. And you know what's his favorite among the books? It's the **"I like food"**. No doubt that he's a food lover. 😂    I think he got it from me. I won't deny it.     Now the only problem here is that I need to watch and keep an eye on him every time he's using the book.     It can easily tear off. So one wrong flip of the page can damage it and result in a ripped book. And of course, I don't want that to happen.     I hope I can maintain it that way.     So that's it.    As a Mom, I love to play with my baby. And doing it while educating him is a new fun way to tell him that learning is easy and fun.    How about you? What educational activities do you do with your baby?

Loan Online vs Borrowing Money From Friends or Family Have you tried borrowing money from a friend or family? Or taking a loan online? If so, you know the pros and cons of that both. Which one do you prefer and why? If you're going to ask me, I experienced both. I tried borrowing money from my friends or relatives. Then I underwent a loan online. Loan Online It's been 6 months now since my hubby loaned some money online. He needs to do it before when I'm on maternity leave. I cannot work. So he's the only one providing money for the family. And that can't satisfy our needs and expenses. So what he did is loan online. He uses the Gcash app... "Gloan" to be exact. He borrows P10,000. What's a good thing about a loan online is that it's quick and convenient. You don't need to go somewhere to process it. Just meet their requirements online like documents for identification, then that's it. You can be approved quickly. And then the amount is transferred to your bank account right away. Yet what I don't like here is the higher interest rate. Like for example on our end. We borrowed P10,000, but we're going to pay P13,932.70 for 9 months. That's a  3.99% interest rate based on the calculation. As of now, we paid P9,402.36 for 6 months. Just 3 more months and we're done paying. P1,510.11 per month is what we need to give if we're paying on the exact due date. If not, every day will add to the interest. Just like what happened in January. Almost P341.7 has been added due to the late payment. See... That's what I don't like about loans online. Borrowing Money From Friends or Family Borrowing money from a friend or family can be an option too. If you don't like the payback with interest on the loan online, this is the best choice. Your friend or relative will not charge you much interest just like a loan online. Or what's better is they won't offer any interest at all. So the only amount you need to repay is the exact amount you borrowed. This is what I always choose when I need some money. Just message one of my friends or chat with my brother or Mom about it, then they will let me borrow if they have some. But, here's the but. Any action has always been a con. Indeed, they won't charge you interest on your borrowed money, but having a loan or debt on them can seriously damage your relationship. Just, for example. If you need money and you know your friend has it, but then he refuses to lend you some. Would you be hurt? Or your brother asks for your payment, but you can't able to repay them. Would it be awkward on your meet-up? This is a matter of emotional than monetary. So, even if it's a loan online or borrowing money from a friend or family, there's always an advantage and disadvantage. So which is better? In my experience, it depends on the situation. If you need a large amount of money instantly then having a loan online is better. But if you don't think you can pay it with a higher rate of interest, then choose to borrow from a friend or family. But make sure to get the money that you just need to be able to repay them. Reminder Every one of us needed money for our everyday expenses and needs. But avoid being in debt as long as you can. Then learn to pay little by little until you're free of debt.

First Purchased from my Hive Earnings - Hive Playpen Finally, I have some proof now for my family and friends that the social blockchain platform Hive is paying. **Binance withdrawal** It was Monday morning when I withdraw some of my Hive earnings. I'm doing it on Binance just like others do. This was my third time doing it, and still... I'm looking at the step-by-step process of how to do it. And it was always a success. Thanks to callmesmile for her helpful tips and tricks in her one published article on how to perform it. Maybe she doesn't have any idea how it helps a lot of users. 😅 What I purchased From my Hive earnings, it's my first time purchasing a valuable thing. If ever you read my article before, I did use my Hive earnings in an emergency (*when my baby was sick).* And it's a great help, especially for a Mom like me. Now that my baby is healthy, I bought one thing that he needs for his safety. It's a playpen. My baby is on its 10 months now, and he's so fast at crawling. He always ends up on the corner of the bed, and we don't want him to fall and bump his head. So having a playpen is a safe place for him to crawl. Playpen arrived and the installation It was Friday morning when this playpen arrived. I bought it online so it took 1 week before it was delivered. It was a foldable one. So we need to assemble it. My hubby helped me to build it, and it was kinda hard, especially in the last part of the installation. Finally, we finished the bottom part. While preparing it, I realized something. It looks like the Hive logo. Doesn't it? The color itself, which is black and red, plus the hexagon shape. Can you trace it now? Choosing a playpen online... I don't have any idea that I would end up spending my Hive earnings on a playpen that looks like a Hive. 😅 But I'm thankful it does look like the Hive logo, as it will always remind me of where it came from. Little by little, it was nearly done. My little one is patiently waiting while his Daddy prepared his new playing area. And finally... After a few minutes of waiting, the playpen is ready for a cute baby's crawl. He is kinda hesitant at first to go in. Looking and wondering what kind of place is it. We gave him his toy, and that pushes him to be brave to go in and enter the playpens door. Thanks to Hive blockchain. Because of it, I can provide for my baby's needs. This is just the first purchase from their fund, and I'm looking forward to more. Lol. My baby is so happy that day on his new Hive playpen. That genuine smile just shows how thankful he is. Do you agree? 😊

A Walk to Remember Did you have a walk today? Taking a walk for a day seems a little bit hard to accomplish. It's like you need to set a time and alarm just to do it. Especially when you're a working mom. Having a baby can consume a lot of your time. It can deplete your fixed schedule, and just prioritize him. I'm not complaining as I love having him. I'm just struggling on spending my time outside. However, this day seems an accomplishment. I did a walk, just a few steps outside. But it's an achievement, isn't it? Doing it today seems like a new set of schedules for more walks in the future. So without further ado, join me as I step outside our little house. Every afternoon is the end of my shift. I was working online, meaning I'm 8 hours facing a laptop. And taking a walk after that looong hours of sitting and using my eyes on a screen seems refreshing. I was searching for where to go when this rice field and the spacious greenery caught my attention. There's also a small kubo where I can sit if ever I want to relax and enjoy the view. I was walking on this small bridge when the green rice field seems more appealing. It looks so reviving and freshening. It's like my eyes just relaxed after tiring hours in front of radiation. And on my right, there comes the sunset. The color of it is so warm. Everything seems so relaxing. After appreciating the view, I tried to observe and took a walk on the other side of the place. The irrigation where children take a bath before became a dumpster now. It's not as clean as I was new here. Plastic waste is everywhere. I don't know if they intentionally throw it there, or if it was carried by the rain. It just saddened me how this clean irrigation can not be maintained. Well, I cannot blame whoever, as every one of us can be guilty of throwing plastic garbage somewhere. I just hope this picture can be a wake-up call to us not to throw plastic garbage anywhere. Anyway, back to the sundown... I just take a little more time to capture this moment. And appreciate how beautiful our place would be if we only take time to cherish it. I'm glad I use my time taking a walk and spending my time outside. It's true, working is an everyday routine. And if we don't use our time well, especially consuming it on nature... Maybe we'll be drained and waste our precious time not appreciating the god given gift — his creations. **Disclaimer: All photographs by me, unless otherwise stated.**

My Hive Salary and how it helped my sick baby Last month **(April)** has been a tough month for me. After spending 30 minutes of happiness and a refreshing swim, my baby got sick. I woke up with a sick baby next to me. After checking his temperature, it shows that he has a fever. 39.3°C is quite high and that makes me worry. It's his first-ever fever **(except when he got his immunization shots)**. And what I did was give him a lukewarm sponge bath. Then place a cool wet washcloth on his head to draw the fever out. I also give him some medication, like Tempra to help him fight the fever. But that won't treat him immediately. It's still high. 38.2°C at night. Sadly, we don't have enough money to buy some more medication like Cool fever and other ibuprofen. Thanks to Hive, I have other options and sources of income that I can receive whenever an emergency happened. That night I immediately sell my Hive and received it in my bank account. This is a small earning, but a big help to my sick baby. This was supposed to be for his high chair, but treating his fever is far more important than that chair. So that night, I've been able to buy some treatment for him. Another day has come, and his fever is still there. We're supposed to bring him to a doctor... But my friend suggests trying the *"hilot"* or *"massage".* This is the folk healing tradition that treats childhood common ailments such as fever, cough, and colds. We go there and pay P50. The manghihilot **(Traditional Masseur)** is good. She's using oil and a banana leaf to know where the problem is. My baby seems relaxed. He didn't cry. After that massage, I try to observe if his fever will already cool down. Nope. He's still sick. 37.6°C based on the thermometer. And he has diarrhea. So I decided to bring him to the pedia the other day. We go there at 10 am and a lot of other parents with their babies are waiting. Different situations, but all in all I can see how worried and tired they are. Out of all the patients, my baby is the only one active, and no sign of sickness. He keeps on jumping, playing, and doing things like he's fine. After 1 hour of waiting, it's our turn. The doctor just asks how long he's been sick, what medications I use, how long his diarrhea is, etc. Then prescribe some medicine. It's just a minute of talking, then done. I paid P400 for that chitchat. I immediately buy the list of medicines, and end up with P100 on my wallet. Everything seems so expensive when someone got sick. So it's better to stay healthy. All in all, these medicines cost P444.75. I didn't buy all of it. The budget is one of the problems, and I don't have any cash left. One more thing to do is the fecalysis. My baby has had diarrhea for 6 days and the doctor thinks, there are other problems. So she prescribed me to do some laboratory for him, and we did. After giving them the poop samples, they test it, and the result was out. We paid P75 for it. Good thing there were no parasites found. So it means he has no possibility of having amoeba. One thing we're feared about. After taking those medicines, my baby seems fine, and his fever reduced. It's been 2 weeks since his fever and that makes me so worried. Good thing he's getting better now and gaining more weight than usual. Thanks to Hive. It became part of my motherhood journey. I'm grateful that I got to know that platform and got to taste it and see how it helps me in my time of need. **Disclaimer: All photographs by me, unless otherwise stated.**

Go to place: Wave pool It's already the dry season in the Philippines or what other calls **"summer"**. Everyone has a different way to beat the heat. Some plan to eat special halo-halo, while others just want to go to the beach. In our case, we choose to go to the first-ever wave pool in Albay. Which is located in Brgy. Herrera, Ligao City, Albay. It's been 2:35 pm when we reached this destination. Entirely, we just plan this outing for that exact day at lunchtime. The entrance fee is PHP150 for adults and PHP70 for kids. There's also a discount for drivers. They only need to pay PHP100, less PHP50. What's special about this resort is the wave pool. You don't need to go to the beach to experience the waves. You can have it here. And ohh... It's my baby's first ever swimming in his entire life. *(Of course, aside from his normal swimming pool on my tummy).* I was just taking a picture of the place when I saw these two already enjoying the water. His first dip is so cute. I think he enjoys the water. The good thing about this pool is the water temperature. It's not that cold. Just right for a baby's body temperature. That's a nice thing for his first-ever swimming pool experience. Another thing we enjoyed here is the design of a big bucket or pail. That pail will be filled with water and pour it once at a time. What's exciting about this thing is you can enjoy it with a group of friends. All you need to do is stand where the water pours and wait for it until it splashes on you. Just like this. That big bucket of water has a massive pressure that can knock you down. You can't predict whether you'll fall, but it's always based on where you stand or how strong you are. 😅 Maybe that's the thing. Anyway, after that experience... People started to gather near the edge part of the pool. I always describe them as a zombie who is been called by their masters. They're walking in harmony. And everyone's direction is on that side. Not knowing, that's the time waves are starting. Little by little, the waves are splashing. It keeps on getting bigger and bigger until it pushes you quite hard. 😅 My baby enjoyed it at first. Until... He's been pushed by the waves and nearly drink the water. Now, he no longer wants it. The waves are a little tough and babies are not safe on them. It can push them so hard that can lead to drowning or drinking water. I tried carrying him in this pool with the waves, and balancing yourself with the baby is hard. So even I can't enjoy the waves. Lol. Maybe without a baby, it can be so much fun. After some more minutes, he just leans on me, meaning he's now sleepy. That instantly implies that we need to change clothes and get off the water. It's been 30 minutes since he soaks himself, so I think that's just the right time to get off. After changing his clothes, he gets some breastfeed and sleep. That's a long sleep I can say. He enjoys his first swimming journey, and that makes him tired. Well, thanks to these friends and family, everything happens and becomes possible because of them.  Until our next swimming journey. Buh-bye.

Family time quality time:  Wedding anniversary celebration How do you celebrate your parent’s anniversary? Do you plan for a surprise party? Hang out? Or just a simple dinner outside? This weekend is a call for a celebration. It’s my mom and dad’s 31st anniversary. And that means we need to make this weekend a special day for them. The arrival It’s already 7:48 pm when we reach this Thai restaurant. We plan to have a simple dinner here, with our 2 friends and of course complete family. Mom and Dad already requested their first photo for the night. They want to have quality time together and make sure that they can show how much they love each other. This place is kinda uphill, so wearing high heels is not that comfortable especially when you have a kid. Reaching the top with the welcoming waiter is a satisfaction. Of course, another pictorial happened there. My mom and dad love to have a lot of memories with each other. And I’m their instant photographer. Good thing the place has a lot of Instagramable designs where we can snap and take a picture. Their pose is just so natural, that they know how to look sweet and in love. Well, no need to prove it as their devoted hearts already reflect on their actions. This lovebird also likes to create a story in their every shot. Just like the one in the **“bahay kubo”**. They remember how Dad used to go to my Mom’s house before to make **“ligaw”** and do some effort to show that he deserves some **“Yes”**. The pictorial session ended when the waiter said the food was ready. What’s the menu? We ordered the 2 sets of a family meal. Php 985 each. 1 set is good for 5-6 persons. So 2 sets are just right for us. Every set of that family meal has Khao pat rice and plain rice, lumpia, mukhbang seafood, stir fry veggies, vegetable salad with soup, pitchers of juice, chicken, and pork teriyaki. That’s a lot of menus so we ordered a few more rice to satisfy our tummy. Every Thai cuisine is so flavorful and tasty. This restaurant is known for its good food, So it’s recommendable. After eating, we give the cake and gifts to our parents. We also give them a **“couple shirts”**. So wearing them needs another snap. And that’s the beginning of another unending capture. What more? This place has a lot more design to be captured. But coming here at night is not a good time for those snaps. Unless you have a beautiful camera, dark is not a problem to capture. But all in all, my favorite part of this quality family time is how we make connections and appreciate relationships. Family meals, even how simple it is, can be a great opportunity for quality time. Thanks to my parent’s anniversary, we have a reason to sit down as a family, eat a meal, and discuss our day.

What We Miss When We Procrastinate **"I want to prioritize writing and publishing articles at read.cash as of the moment. But my laziness stops me from it. Instead, my mind dictates, I just browse social media and enjoy my free time."** Whenever I missed posting and creating an article, this is what always happened. My laziness controls me, and it reigns over my hardworking self. Well, while browsing youtube, I came across motivational videos about laziness. And it targeted people who always procrastinate. And I learned from it. So now, I want to share it with you too, in case you needed it and learn from it as well. The story goes like this: *There was a student who loves to procrastinate. This is an attitude of not doing things immediately. Instead of finishing his work today, he thinks that he can still make it tomorrow. He loves to delay.* *And because of that... He can't catch up to his classmates and remain on that grade level.* *His teacher, who's so observant of his students watches him and thinks of a way to help him.* *Later that day, he called that student and show him a black stone. He declares that every iron that he rubs on that black stone can turn into gold.* *And that teacher willingly shares that stone with his student, on one condition. He can only have it on that afternoon till tomorrow evening.* *So the student thinks of a way how to earn a lot of gold and become rich in that 24 hours. He went back home and plan to go to the market and buy a lot of iron scrap to turn into gold.* *Everything was planned and settled, but he saw how dark it is outside. So instead of going out, he then plans of having some dinner and sleep. Tomorrow after he wakes up, he will go to the market and buy some iron scrap.* *Tomorrow has arrived, he then cooks some breakfast and prepares to go to the market. After eating quite a lot, he became sleepy. That time he thinks of sleeping first and going to the market in the afternoon.* *He goes to bed and sleeps. When he opens his eyes and looks out the window, the sun is going to set. It was nearly evening, so he quickly get the black stone and ran outside.* *To his surprise, the teacher is on his doorstep. It is time to get the black stone. The student keeps on begging for a few more hours, but the teacher didn't allow it even for a second.* *He then told his student how important time is. That 24 hours can make him rich in an instant but he didn't grab the chance.* *So, the student learns his lesson and knows how important it is not to delay things especially if you can make it today*. How about you? Did you learn something from this story? If you ask me, I did. I was just too annoyed with the student who didn't grab the chance and use that black stone that he has. But, putting myself in his shoe, maybe I'm also him sometimes. I love delaying things, especially writing an article like this. Whenever laziness hits me... today will be tomorrow, and tomorrow can be the next day. Yet... Let's all learn from this lesson. We all have that 24 hours to use for the most important things in life. Don't think that tomorrow always come. Who knows maybe the things you plan cannot be possible tomorrow. So do it today. Don't delay, if you can just make it now.

It's 11:00 am here in the Philippines. So thinking about what to eat is a necessary question we always need to answer. It's tiring sometimes to plan your meal and cook healthy and delicious food. But analyzing that you still have something to cook, is way better than being problematic about your meal plan.

@Mayt

Stop focusing on how stressed you are, and remember how blessed you are **"How are you?"** This is a question we can always hear again and again. Although we can see their situation... asking them about their condition has still a great impact on their lives and it shows that we care. So how are you? In life, problems are just around the corner. It's like they're waiting for us, and pop up whenever they want. And here we are... Focusing on them until we forget the blessings that we got. So now, join me as I choose to make this day a way to remember my blessings and stop focusing on things that can make me stress. Breathtaking view It's 5:14 pm when I, my hubby, and our baby reach this breathtaking view. This is just a 4-minute ride from our residence. I love this view so much coz it's so green and fresh to look at. A lot of people stop here from their road trip, just to appreciate this view. Just like earlier... There is a group of riders who spends their time taking pictures and selfies here before they continue their journey. And of course, after them, it's our time to take and capture the moments. And you know what, this day is the day my hubby and I plan to have a **"wife and husband moment"**. But you know how our little one will always get our attention and make him the priority. Lol. But that's fine. He's our instant chaperone. Having time with each other after marriage is a must to make your bond last long.  Doing it in an expensive hotel, costly restaurant, or luxurious date is not required... Just a simple bonding moment with an extremely beautiful place can make that day special.  Golden hour This place is the best waiting spot for the golden hour, and of course sunset.  It's just so wide and spacious that you would not have any problem if anything will block the view.  We went here too early for the golden hour and sunset. So having Sunkissed photos are just what we got.  The road This place is along the road.  So everyone who has time can stop by here and capture the moment.  Who would not be fascinated by this breathtaking view? Can you ignore it if it's just right into your face? Cemetery view After spending our time in this breathtaking view, we transfer to another beautiful spot. But this one is kinda different.  It's still full of green and nature, but what's different is there are a lot of tombs. If you're not familiar with this place, you'll think that's a lot of houses down there. But if you'll just focus more... You will see that it's not housing but graves. A lot of people went to this place also, especially bikers. They love to hike and exercise in this kind of place with refreshing views.  This part has a waiting shed that's like taro leaves. It's so cute to look at and adds to the amazing view. But you know what's cutest? My baby when he seems to do a wacky face. His tongue wants to taste some fresh air, so it needs to be out.  We stayed a little more... And capture every moment we can. Had a conversation as husband and wife, and talked about the blessings we received this month. Tomorrow we'll get back to work, and that's the time stress can be earned again.  But just like my title emphasizes, **"Remember how blessed you are"**. Count as many blessings as we received, and that's what makes us forget the stress we're facing.  Capturing another one before we got home. Before our little one got bored and cry out loud in this quiet place. HAHA... Anyways, another thing I love here is the cleanliness of this place. Even though people come and go, they maintain the place. Thanks for this sign. I hope our **"wife and hubby"** errands for today teach you to be grateful for all the time. Don't focus too much on the things that give you stress. Instead, take a little walk, breathe fresh air, and enjoy breathtaking views.

Chicken Soup: With Patola And Misua Did you know that eating chicken soup can improve our skin health? It is known to improve skin elasticity and facial pigmentation. So having chicken soup in our meals will not only make us hydrated and full, but it will also make our skin healthy. Night market It is 7:00 pm when I, hubby, our little one went to the night market. We used to be there and take a little snack. That time, there's a vegetable vendor... And she's selling patola **(ribbed loofah).** I bought 1/2 a kilo for PHP20 or $0.37. So our menu for today is chicken soup with patola and misua. **Chicken soup with patola and misua** This soup is considered a traditional dish enjoyed by Filipinos. Somehow, the Chinese influenced it a little bit because of the misua. Also, this is not a boring soup because of the rich chicken taste in every spoonful. Plus, the smell is very alluring. It is also nutritious because of the patola, and scallions. I like how it tastes. It's just a good match to warm steamed rice, plus the fact that... it will make you want more. So without further ado, let me share with you how I made it. Ingredients Just what you saw in the picture, the ingredients are: • 6 to 8 ounces of chicken • 2 ounces misua • 1 small patola • 1 Knorr cube • 2 scallions (chopped) • 3 cloves garlic (crushed) • 2 small onions (chopped) • 1 tomato (wedges) • 2 1/2 cups water • 1/4 teaspoon salt • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper • 3 tablespoons cooking oil **Procedure** I started everything by heating the oil. After it gets hot, I sauté the garlic, onion, and some of the scallions.  I just wait for the garlic to be light brown and the onion to be tender. After that, the tomato has been added. I sauté it until it gets sluggish. I then add the chicken and sauté it for 2 minutes. Also, I add salt and black pepper to it, then sauté it for another 2 minutes. After that, that's the time I pour the water. I also add the Knorr cube and stir it... Then cover, and let it boil for about 15 minutes on medium heat. After that 15 minutes boil, that's the time I put the patola. And immediately the misua. I just stir it, and cook it for about 2 minutes more... Then that's it. Chicken soup with patola and misua is now ready to be transferred and served. **Bring it to the next level** In making this, I plan of putting an egg in it after it is cooked. I also dream of having fried dried fish to be paired with this soup. But that idea didn't happen. I end up eating just how I cooked and prepared it. The reason is, it's getting late and preparing too much food for a night is not practical. Especially if just two of us will consume and eat it. But if you ever want to bring it to the next level, egg and fried fish must be present with this dish. Yet eating it just like that is still a satisfaction. I'm telling you it's so masarap! **Cost** All in all, if I will compute the ingredients... Chicken can be calculated for PHP50 or $0.92. The misua is just PHP10 or $0.18. Knorr cube is PHP7 or $0.13. The scallions same as the patolas are both PHP20 or $0.37... And the other condiments and seasonings... Can be estimated to be PHP25 or $0.46. Maybe I just consume a total of PHP132 or $2.43. This is so cheap. Having chicken soup with this money is already practical. I hope you learn something today and wish to see your cooking recipes as well. Stay healthy and full. 😉

"Traveling — it leaves you speechless then turns you into a storyteller" Whenever we see beautiful natural scenery, what is our reaction? Are you like me, who got speechless? Instead of describing everything I saw at the moment, I chose to feed my eyes with that extraordinary sight that I only once see. Then after that exciting experience, I mostly love to tell it to my friends and family who are not part of that adventure. In case they love to know how beautiful the place looks. Just like our adventure to Binurong Point. It's been 3 years now since we went there. But to share the story about it will be part of my life and will never get tired of it a million times. Binurong Point Binurong Point is the newest charm the island of Catanduanes can offer. It's in the Philippines, but the cliffs and hills are Ireland feels. You'll surely enjoy the view if you went there personally. The greenery, black volcanic rock, and the blue sea... If you combined it all, it will turn into a paradise perspective. Going there for the first time is kinda tiring. Especially if you didn't expect to trek for about 10-15 minutes. The day we went there is rainy. The muddy soil and my **"not-so-spikey"** slipper are not a good combination for this adventure. Good thing the tour guide gives an individual walking stick that can help us balance ourselves in that trekking experience. 10-15 minutes is worth sacrificing just to reach the Binurong Point. If you already see green hills, that's an indication you reach your destination. It's so spacious that you can run on that hill just to come immediately and watch the sea.  But be careful, it's a little bit slippery because we're going down the hill. And you know what mostly happens whenever gravity pulls you. You don't want that to happen, do you? There are three different points the tour guide will introduce to you. And every part is a beautiful spot to be captured. It depends on you to choose which one is your favorite point among the three. Favorite Out of all, I love the view of the volcanic rock formations. It's just pure black that you'll find awesome. I also love how the waves splash on the rock. It's so refreshing to look at and entertain my eyes in an instant. Weather If ever I have a chance to get back to Binurong Point, I'll choose a sunny day. It's still better to enjoy this Binurong Point where the sun shines so nicely, and no worries about mud or getting slipped. But if you're with your crush, better to go there in the rainy season. That's the time he can offer his hand and be gentlemanly all the way through. Well, it depends if he cares about you. Lol. But all in all, this Binurong experience is an adventure to tell for the rest of my life. Trekking for 10-15 minutes is worth sacrificing just to reach the beautiful and paradise-like view of the Catanduanes. I hope you enjoy our simple adventure and will be happy to read about your experiences too. **Disclaimer: All photographs by me, unless otherwise stated.**

Black And White Photos Of Nature: Alone Or Lonely? **"It's so suffocating. We're living in the same house but he won't even dare talk to me. Am I invisible? Or he doesn't love me anymore?"** These are my thoughts this morning after noticing that I'm neglected by my husband. Sometimes having awkward communication is best for me than nothing at all. I will still choose it than ignoring me for unknown reasons. Let's leave him Every time this moment happened, I always choose not to stay home, but to unwind outside. I tried to ask him what's the problem and what did I do wrong. **"Nothing"** is the only answer I got. So yeah. Let's go out. I tried so hard not to make that scenario a source of our fight. Going out... Nature is what faced me. It's a little bit hot this 1:44 pm. But I'd rather choose to stay here than keep up the pressure inside the house. Seeing nature helps me to be calm, at peace, and have comfort. This is what I love here in the province compared to those cities where buildings are most seen. Here I got entertained by nature. I was fascinated by how the wind swayed those tree branches. I got amused by how busy and noisy the birds are. Then I realized how they live their life where problems are not their priority. Black and white In capturing images, I used to have colored ones. The one that will show how colorful the flower is, how blue the sky is, or how fresh the food might be. But now, let's have black-and-white photography. This is what my mood said. And just let it be. Choosing the black-and-white filter on my phone vanishes every color that nature gives. It offers a different drama and mood. It just focuses on having white, gray, and black. No distraction of colors. And that's what I love. What I noticed Capturing here and there makes me notice a thing. In this mountain full of trees and plants, there's one thing that's alone. It's on the top, so you can see it quickly. Have you spotted it? I was referring to this tree. I know, I know. Capturing this using phone will not give you a better image. I just zoom in, like 6x the actual size. So, what do you expect? But that's not what is important right now. What I want to say is this tree is alone. If this tree can talk, what do you think it'll say? Do you think he accused the one who plant why he put it there? Or if it has emotions or feelings just like us humans, do you think it cries at night? Feel sad whenever it has no one to talk to? This tree became my companion and my entertainer to this day. I feel pity for him, and at the same time glad that he can't feel any. Entirely, I see myself in that tree. There were a lot of trees around but no one was there near him. Just like me, I have a husband that can talk to and have a conversation, but he chose not to. Well, I hope that tree has a bird best friend. The one who builds a nest on its leaves, and creates a family in those shelters. That's the only solution so it won't feel alone. Did he notice me now? Now that we have a baby, it can be used to have a random conversation. Even if he doesn't want to. He used to be like this even when we were just starting as a couple. At first, I feel so lonely whenever he did that. But now, little by little, I'm getting used to it. What I can't get is if it's happening out of nowhere. Without any reasons behind it or any clue to be figured out. But yeah, I think he's on his menstruation cycle. Let's just think he's a girl. 🤭 Now, after having dinner, I think he's getting back to normal. The only secret to getting back to him is to cook delicious food that he loves. Did I just figure out that now? Well, maybe that's what it is. Thanks for reading up to this very end. This post is a way I release negative emotions. And glad God gives us nature to help us be entertained and learn lessons at the same time. Hope you love my photos too. Black-and-white phone photography. Sometimes trying different filters is kinda exciting. Try it too. 😉 **Disclaimer: All photographs by me, unless otherwise stated.**

Hive Saves My Daily Writing Habit Are you still writing in a diary? I remember that when I'm still in high school, one of our assignments is writing in a diary. Every day you need to write what happened during the day, and that's an obligation. In writing, you can get high grades, and that's what I tried to accomplish. There I started to view writing as a good way of expressing myself. You're jotting down what you're thinking plus you're saving the memories that can be forgotten day after day. Busy mom and wife Despite my busyness, as a mom and wife, I'm prioritizing writing. Nursing my 7-month-old baby is a full-time job. The only moment I can do writing is when he's sleeping, or I'm breastfeeding. Why I'm prioritizing it? Well, at some point this is the way I can earn money. In Hive and here in read.cash, writing can gain a quite good amount of money. And you can't get it by just writing in a diary. Tomorrow I'll return to my full-time work online, after 7 months of maternity leave. And hopefully, I can handle everything, especially writing despite my busy schedule. Rusty's Absence Just like what my title emphasizes, Hive saves my writing habit. As a read.cash user, I used to write blogs. And that's because I can gain something. I won't do it if I won't. That's the truth. And because I'm not gaining anything here in return when Rusty said farewell, Hive became my rescuer. I used to write there for almost 3 months now. And I can say my account there is growing slowly to the point that I never tried withdrawing money. Well, at some point it got different to read.cash. The money you earn thru writing is not instantly yours. You need to save it to have power and grow bigger in Hive. So yeah. As of now, I'm just having $130.56. And it fluctuates, depending on the Hive price. What Am I Now? So at this very moment, I am managing two accounts — Hive and read.cash. Having them both won't mean that they'll be my priority. Of course, I have a baby that needs to have my attention. I'll write here of course, with no pressure. As long as I can still do it, I will. Read.cash Community I am happy this platform got so noisy than before. Lots of comments per published article, some upvotes from co-users, and new faces and names I haven't seen here before. I'm glad everything's running smoothly here. And that's because we're doing what we should be. Every day we have different obligations, responsibilities, and commitments. But being balanced and knowing our priorities is the key to making writing a success. How about you? How do you manage your time and make writing a daily habit?

Walking Through The Park Are you busy? Do you have any errands today? If not, join me as I walk through Solong Eco Park. Birds, flowers, butterflies, and swaying branches of trees are mostly seen in a park. It is always present and won't be able to leave your eyes bored. Flowers Let's start with what catches my eye first — flowers. What do you do whenever you see flowers? Smell it? Or you're satisfied with just admiring it and taking a snap of it? Well, let's do both as of now. Let's smell every flower we found here, and take a snap too. Every flower is unique. They differ in color, shape, smell, and beauty. And you know what? This white flower is known as an edible one. But I won't dare to eat it while walking. Lol. Would you? It doesn't smell anything too. This purple one does smell something. It's slightly fragrant. And that's why I love smelling flowers. This zinnia is a lot. They were so easy to plant. I tried them before, and they grew so well, with low maintenance. And it has no fragrance at all. Do you want to go to something interesting? We're going now somewhere in the forest, where the cave is hiding. By the way, I am with my family, and it's a long way before we get to the cave that I'm telling you about. If you're a nature lover... This place is what suits you. Here you can hear birds chirping, and smell the fresh air that trees exhale. Every step, you must count... It'll just entertain you. Rock balancing Before we step inside the cave, you'll get to notice these rocks... It was well-balanced. Based on the tour guide, some visitors come to build this rock and others copied them too. And of course, we should try that. We should leave a mark here in case we get back soon. At least this walk won't be wasted without leaving any memories. Can you see those three rocks in front? That was made by me. Haha. I was trying to put the fourth rock, but it won't want to get stacked. So I let it be, with just three. Want to see the cave? This cave is so dark that you can't see anything inside. Good thing the tour guide brought a big flashlight, just to help us whenever we want to take a snap. I didn't take a lot of pictures here. Well, what I appreciate here is the stalactites. The tour guide told us not to hold it as it can stop growing for good. And while typing this, that's the time I noticed my brother holding it. 🥺 It's raining again This walk is a little bit challenging. We're walking up the hill, but the weather won't cooperate. After going out of the cave, we still manage to climb up the slope just to see this portal. And you know what? According to the tour guide, this portal is magical. If you enter it, you can go back to your younger years. So my Mom did. She enters that portal, and after coming out she became a toddler. 🥺 HAHAHA. Of course, it was a lie. Finally, we reach the top and end of this walk. It was the view of green hills. Good thing the rain stopped. We completely see the beautiful view of these hills. Advantages of this walk Every walk has a destination. And it's up to you if you'll enjoy it. Your every sense can be used just to appreciate everything around you. Every walk is a chance to be close to anyone. Especially if you're with a group of friends and family. It's the time you can see nature. Smell the cold breeze that came from trees. Feel and touch the beautiful flowers that make the place more appealing and attractive. And the most important is... Every walk can help your body to be healthy. It is tiring but at the end of the day, you can feel the energy it gives. I hope you enjoy our walk, even if it rains. It just shows that it can't stop us to go to our planned destination and take a risk, just to enjoy the day. Remember to sip a coffee after this, as it's perfect for the gloomy weather and your tired body. Ciao!

Welcome Back BCH! All of us got sad when Rusty broadcasted his last tip. We all got used to having him since then. So losing him is quite painful. But now he's back. I just knew it yesterday thru reading one noise.app comment by Microreylatos. And that made me happy. Then I tried if it was true. I browse some articles, engaged thru comments, posted mine, and early in the morning after I woke up I received a BCH. Then I completely saw that it was true. Rusty is back, alive, and active. BCH BCH helps us a lot since then. In my own experience, I was happy to say I purchased a washing machine thru it. I bought different stuff and survived my everyday life because of it. From receiving a small tip of $0.01, you can earn if you just know how to be consistent and enjoy engaging thru others' posts. Where are the others? Receiving generous tips before, made me earn a quite amount of money. And of course, I can't just enjoy it alone. I need to share it with my friends just in case they want to earn by blogging. Then they did it. They started blogging, and I can say... It's a success. Rusty loved their work and give tips on it. But now where are they? They stopped. Because of being busy at school, having writer's block, or some procrastination issue, they didn't have the power to continue their read.cash journey. Should I invite them again? Now that is read.cash is reborn, and everything seems new and fresh. It's like it's just starting again. So, do I need to invite my friends again? Tell them that Rusty is now back with tips in his pockets. Maybe they got encouraged and grab the chance to receive BCH again. What do you think? Message to Rusty `A lot of users here got happy when you were back. It's like you opened a disco light, played some party music, and all of us join the beat and dance, and it gets so loud.` `Entirely, I felt so unhappy when you said goodbye. It's like I lost a job without anything to do but pack my office things.` `You've helped us a lot if you only knew. So, can we stay here forever?` Now that read.cash or @TheRandomRewarder is active again, we do expect to hear our cellphones notifications. It's always so exciting to hear beeps, thinking it might be some BCH. This morning is the start of my **"happy"** mornings. And I do expect it will last long. 😍

Bbq Food: Mookata Night At A Rooftop **"Tayo na magbabayad, tayo pa magluluto"**, my Mom annoyingly said this Sunday night, while cooking some food at the Mookata. She's hungry and already wants to eat. But being at the Mookata, Do It Yourself cooking is a must. We need to cook before enjoying the food. Whenever you choose a restaurant, what do you prefer? Is it cooking your dinner or letting the professionals do it for you? Nowadays, samgyeopsal has been a popular cuisine. Korea influenced a lot of countries in how to do and enjoy it. In our country, the Philippines, we have a lot of restaurants offering this kind of delicacy. And that's what I will share right now. Our Mookata weekend night at a rooftop. Mookata or Mu Kratha Mookata or Mu Kratha is Thai cuisine. It is a combination of Korean bbq and Chinese hot pot. The word **"moo"** means **"pig"** and **"kata"** means **"skillet"** or **"pan"** in Thai translation. So basically Mookata is something like a buffet-style set up of food that you can cook using a special skillet or grill. If we will compare, samgyeopsal only focuses on grilling a pork belly while mookata has a **"moat"** *(a space that holds the meat broth)* similar to a hot pot. So you have some bbq food plus some mookata soup. That completes the meal. Some of the raw ingredients differ. For example, in samgyeopsal, we used to have pork belly but in mookata, we have the option of having chicken. We also expected some lettuce to wrap up the meat, but here we get Chinese cabbage, pechay, and kangkong. And because we're having a hot pot, thin noodles are part of the menu. We also have brown eggs, chicken hotdogs, squid balls, luncheon beef, and soft tofu. Side dishes also are missing. They only have here Thai suki sauce or nam chim. It is a combination of garlic, sugar, fresh red chilis, and bean curd. It tastes sweet, spicy, and garlicky. You can use it that to add spice and flavor to every meat or vegetable after cooking. This is what you get if you avail of their group meal B at **PHP 1,299** *($23.69)*. It's good for 5-6 PAX. Rooftop Mookata What's special here is we're on the rooftop. It's on the 4th floor. So we can enjoy the mookata soup while feeling the cold breeze. I'm with my family this wonderful Sunday night, and that's what makes this day more fun. On every table, we have our mookata pot. All in all, 3 mookata pots were used. By the way, do you know how to use chopsticks? Doing a mookata requires chopsticks than just using a spoon and fork. And I'm not an expert on it. So before we started cooking, I already practiced how to do it. And as you can see in the picture, I won't put it down. It's staying on my fingers, just in case I forgot how to put it again. Lol. Every table has its big garden/beach umbrella. In case of rain happened, we're safe and won't be interrupted. They also put some fairy lights and a beautiful background for those customers who loved capturing and taking a snap as a souvenir and memento. And of course, we always adore that. One snap with our family... And another snap with my hubby. This time we're done eating so we're having random pictures before leaving. They also have a memorabilia section here. It looks like antique posters and pictures. It consists of pictures of the American actress Marilyn Monroe, the Beatles, retro popcorn art, coca-cola wallpapers, etc. And what I love here is the open view. Because we're on the rooftop, we have a chance to see the city view. But what we miss here is the sunset. If we only knew, we went earlier than the planned time. 5 pm to 6 pm is the best time to enjoy the sunset view plus the appearance of the **"perfect cone"** Mount Mayon. But still, this mookata weekend night is a fun experience with our family and loved ones. It's okay to cook your dinner at times in a restaurant. You can use that time to have a conversation with your family and a chance for a bonding moment with your loved ones. **Disclaimer: All photographs by me, unless otherwise stated.**

2022 Changes My Life With The Greatest Joy My greatest joy this 2022 started on August 3, 2022, at 1:15 pm when I heard the first cry of my little one. The pain and struggle are unexplainable when it comes to labor. But after you heard the little voice after that long and hard push... Or after giving all your strength to survive that delivery, you'll surely feel the satisfaction and the greatest joy of being a mother. It's true being a mother is never easy. Especially to those who are just first-timer or a newbie. Being a mother is a great responsibility when it comes to protecting, supervising, and showing love and care for your baby. And it changes everything. Your lifestyle, priority, or even your sleeping pattern. All of it needs to change or else, you'll be called a **"bad mother".** In our life, when that little one exists, it was instantly the **"baby boss"** of the family. One cries, shouts, or even sobs... You'll probably stop what you do and run into his crib. That's how bossy he is, don't you agree? 😅 But with every sacrifice, sleepless night, or late meal... One smile from that little one could remove all the tiredness and exhaustion. When you see how cute he became when the corners of his mouth turned up, and no teeth were exposed, but still end up charming... It could melt your heart in an instant. Baby is very innocent. They are also dependent. So, being them as your life priority is understandable. In 4 months of being a mom now, I am still on maternity leave. Can't back to working online as I want to focus on nursing my little one. He's also a breastfeed. So he relies on me whenever he's hungry. That's how close we are right now. Our everyday moment. It's true being a mother changes everything, but every sacrifice for taking care of that little one is worth it. Every day he's growing. You'll not realize he became an infant from a newborn. Became a toddler, then a preschooler. It's just... time flies so fast. So appreciate every moment with your baby. The time will come, he'll grow and don't want to call a baby anymore. 📌`Disclaimer: All photographs by me, unless otherwise stated.`

Be Like Tortoise Nowadays, watching educational videos on phones, laptops, or television is quite usual for children. Sometimes, it's the parents' way to entertain them or teach them little by little. Even I used to watch it whenever I am nursing our baby. That's how I educate him but with a limited time of course. I used to hear the songs whenever I played. Especially the Cocomelon. Are you familiar with it? I'm sure you do. A lot of children used to watch their videos. This past few weeks, I encountered their video entitled, **"The Tortoise and The Hare"**. I was already familiar with the story. But hearing it with the lyrics on the phone, I realized and learned something. Story: There was a speedy Hare who had been known to run fast. He's been always in a race and wins because of his ability and speed. One day, the Tortoise approached him and ask if he want to race with him. Of course, the Hare laughs and insults the Tortoise as it was known to be slow. But still, he accepts it and then the race began. A lot of different animals watched and attended that race. The Hare started to give his all. He is so fast that almost half of the race was finished. While the Tortoise? He's so slow, he's just crawling little by little. The Hare knew he would win. He's so confident as he was so fast running. So considering the Tortoise who's just crawling slowly down the road, he stopped on a tree and began sleeping. He estimated the time, that after he woke up he can still beat the slowly Tortoise. So while the Hare slept, the Tortoise continued on his goal... Which is: **to go and reach the finish line.** Little by little he progresses. He then passed on the sleeping Hare. He slowly but continuously crawls. And there you go... He was already on it when the Hare woke up and noticed the Tortoise near the finish line. It was so late that he can't cope to beat the Tortoise. So, in the end... **THE TORTOISE WINS. 🎉** Lesson: In our life, there are people like Hares and Tortoises. Some are fast achievers of their goals, while some are just slow. Generally, we're all trying our best to be on the top. We love to be known and recognized as the **"most"** or the **"greatest"**. But sometimes, we just can't easily accomplish it. Aiming so high sometimes leads to tiredness, insecurities, and exhaustion. So what can we do? Be like the Tortoise. **Set a goal, work for it, and be consistent.** **Having a goal** is a great way to be productive every day. We know what are we aiming and we're focusing on it. This is also a good way to continue achieving the things that we love. **Working on it** is the second step to achieving that goal. Of course, you can't reach the finish line or get the prize without doing anything. Remember that there are no shortcuts to success. You need to do something. And like the Tortoise, don't compare your ability to others. We all have different talents or skills. It's just a matter of how you view or value that potential. But the assurance is: **if you work on it even at a slow pace, it will surely bring good results.** **Be consistent** in achieving your goal. Aiming for a goal is not as easy as 1, 2, or 3. You need to work for it now and then. Just like the Tortoise. Being slow doesn't mean you can't achieve it. It's just others get it faster than you. So don't lose hope. Stop comparing. Just be consistent and you'll get what you want without you noticing it. If you made an effort today, the time will come, and it will lead to success. See? It's just a song or story for infants but the lesson is for us all. So, don't rush or over-exert yourself on aiming for those goals. Just keep on a steady pace. And the time will come, you will build up the things that you're aiming for since then. `Disclaimer:` `• Screenshots are from the Youtube video - The Tortoise and the Hare - CoComelon Nursery Rhymes` `• Banner image created in Canva (free version)`

Our First-Ever Tragedy As a Couple (Summary) `"Where there is a problem there is an opportunity to learn something new." — Nitin Namdeo` *What was your most unforgettable experience during the pandemic times? Maybe you suffered from depression, experienced covid yourself, or what is worse is witnessing how it killed your relatives and friends.* *We, as a couple experienced staying at the hospital during the pandemic times. And I'm telling you that's the* ***WORST*** *experience we've encountered so far. It's a near-death experience.* *Let me share with you what happened at that time and how we solve it.* My mother-in-law has been struggling with her cough. She can't sleep because of it and can't simply lie down. It's been 10 days since she started experiencing it. Day by day my hubby checked her. And convinced her to go to the hospital. But she refuses. She doesn't trust the hospital. Or even the doctors on it due to some former experiences. Until one day, her body can no longer handle the sleepless nights or even the phlegm that needs to be released. She can't breathe normally and doesn't want to drink even a small amount of water. This is not good as she can't survive in this kind of situation. My hubby and father-in-law decided to bring her to the hospital. That time she immediately undergoes a rapid test which resulted positive. That hospital advised us to get ready as we were going to be transferred to the nearest hospital that accepted covid patients. We were all shocked as we were not expecting her to be positive. That moment as we were in the ambulance, my hubby can't control his emotions. He faced me with his teary-eyed stating how afraid he was to lose his Mom. I don't know what to say to comfort him, but looking at the positive side... I just told him to be strong coz he will be our Mom's strength. He must show that he's not losing hope in the situation. That statement comforted him a little, holding his Mom's hand and tapping her head. As we arrived at the hospital, my mother-in-law became conscious while having a cold sweat. She undergoes some tests, x-rays, and checkups. Until the doctor told us that only 1 person is allowed to be with her. No choice I need to go out. My hubby is more capable to be with her at that moment. I go to the waiting area and tried to sleep there as it was already midnight. Until my hubby informed me that they will be transferred to the ward. They will ride the ambulance, while I? I need to walk and follow where that ambulance goes. They went to the back part of the hospital where people are limited and no buildings and lights are visible. I was so afraid to walk alone in that dark street but I need to. I'm not sure where the ambulance go but I kept on strolling the path until I saw one ambulance that just parked. I hope I go to the right place. I wasn't sure if they were there but then I stopped there and sat on the cold cement. There was also a boy that was outside the ward, so I'm comfortable that there was someone with me. That place looks like an abandoned place. It's dark and few buildings are functioning. So I wasn't at ease in that kind of place. I tried to contact my hubby through messenger but he's not online. I just wait there outside still wondering if they are inside. Until one nurse asked if I was the runner of the new patient inside. And immediately I stated yes. That's a relief. I now know where they are. But why is she asking? Another nurse stopped her from telling me something. I go back to my sit still having no idea what was happening inside. Hours have passed, and I'm trying to sleep outside. It's getting cold coz it's already 4 am. The boy stays there with me, he didn't sleep and go back inside. The guard also monitors me. That's a comfort. I feel safe from their kindness. I tried again to contact my hubby. But he's still offline. Until the boy says goodbye and went inside the ward. After a few minutes, my hubby goes out crying. He stated that our mom is in critical condition. She can't breathe normally and that makes my hubby agree to some intubation. He's pumping manually since that night without stopping as it's the only way my mother-in-law breathes. That's the reason he's not online. He can't hold his phone or even take a nap that night. He doesn't have any choice but to pump. He also stated that he requested me to the nurse if I can go with him inside. He wants to rest a bit, and having me as an alternative to pumping is a great help. That's the reason why the nurse asks for their runner. But due to protocol, only one person can stay with the patient. But because of the situation, they allowed me to go with him. It's just I need to quarantine for 14 days. That's fine as we were staying under the same roof. 9 am when we transferred to the ICU main. She's already connected to a ventilator machine that supplies her with oxygen. That's a relief as we don't need to pump manually. As you can see, they also put some tubes in her nose. That's the only way she can eat. It's so painful to look at her in that situation but that's the only way she can be cured. 😥 Good thing that after transferring to the ICU main, she already got conscious. She's trying to tell us something but due to intubation, we can't understand her. She also doesn't know sign language. Yes, writing it on paper is the only way she can communicate with us. She's always worried about us if we ate, already sleep, etc. That's a mother's love. Even in that situation, she's thinking of others instead of herself. After a day, they declared that she need to be separated from other patients who are not covid positive. And we can no longer be allowed to take care of her. Strictly one nurse is assigned to her. That's the only time, me and my hubby rest and sleep soundly during the night. And the next day we were notified to go home and quarantined for 14 days. As of now, she's doing okay. She survived the covid-19 virus but took a lot of months to recover. *It's true... Covid is not a joke just what other people look at it. We experienced how dangerous it is, and following protocols strictly is a must.* *I hope you learned something from our experience. And praying for your family not to encounter this kind of situation as it's so heartbreaking and stressful.* `Disclaimer: All photographs by me, unless otherwise stated.`

Our Wedding Journey Part 2: Bridal Shower + Wedding It is about time to share the remaining events that happened during our wedding journey. Thanks to those who read, upvote, and commented on my previous article entitled, "Our Wedding Journey Part 1: Engagement Night + Pamamanhikan + Prenup". To those who have not yet read it, feel free to click the title to direct you to the article. https://read.cash/@Mayt/our-wedding-journey-part-1-engagement-night-pamamanhikan-prenup-8072b184 Now I will share with you the 2 remaining occasions that truly made our life grateful and blessed.  **💚 Bridal shower** A bridal shower is a special occasion for the bride-to-be. It is a party where close friends and relatives are present to give the bride-to-be a surprise or what is more a simple gift, food, or fun. It is sometimes composed of games, messages, or letters. Depends on the host and the plan. On my end, I experienced 2 bridal showers. One on my relatives, and the second on my friends. I feel so much love and affection because of this event. They all surprised me in a different yet special way. First is the bridal shower held at home. This is a little bit difficult on their part as I always stay at home. How can they surprise me? How can they cook, design the area, or invite our relatives without me noticing them? Well, they succeed by creating their group chat and planned to invite me somewhere, just to leave that house. My Mom did that. She helped me go shopping to buy sandals for the wedding and a set of jewelry as well. Little did I know, that was the time my sister and some of our close friends and relatives started to decorate our home, cook some food, and prepare things for the event. They surprise me. The designs are stunning. A lot of lights were used, and I didn't expect that. They all planned it perfectly. They also prepare my nightdress and fix my hair and makeup. And it all went beautifully. This night is unforgettable. They also prepare games, messages, videos from my faraway friends, and of course delicious foods. A lot of gifts I received. I got so much fun. Also, when they asked me to give some messages to my Mom, Dad, and sister, I got so emotional. I thought I'll not cry. But thinking that I will not go home after the wedding makes me so sad. That I will not be with my sister in the same room. That I will not be with them anymore. That got me so unhappy. Anyways, it ends on a successful evening. Next is the bridal shower hosted by my friends. This is a simple yet unexpected night with them. I didn't anticipate them to prepare such things as we all have different busy lives, and work. But it all happened successfully with their busy schedules and plans. They prepare everything beautifully. The designs are cute and well organized, with a simple samgyup dinner, cake, and soju. We also dressed the same, just me who wear red to be spotted as a bride. Want to see the cake? Do I need to be happy with that? 🙈 But in the end, I got so much fun. They prepared a video message from my hubby and some of our friends that are not present during that night. And we enjoy the rest of that night drinking soju, telling stories, advice, and problems *(love life problems to be specific 😅).* 💚 **Wedding** This is going to be the end of my wedding journey story but will be the start of our marriage journey. December 28, 2020, is the date we choose to hold our wedding. It started at 3 pm. We chose it in the afternoon to avoid being late. It is morning when we arrived at the hotel where make-up and pictorials will be held. We spend a lot of time preparing just to make it all successful and organized. We also appoint some of our close friends and relatives at their respective tasks to be our hands in that big event. Some are authorized to welcome guests, assist them with where to sit, design the bridal car, etc. We didn't get a wedding coordinator, but all went so organized and orderly because of their different assignments. We also just ordered cupcakes and a round cake for our friend who just started her business. This is a simple way of helping her with her small career. Same with my bouquet. Not a fresh flower. I just asked my close friend to create this. She just made it manually. Just through her artistic hands. Everything went well, even the weather cooperates. It is a pandemic wedding but 100 visitors are allowed at our chosen venue. It is just a little bit difficult to choose whom to invite. We have a big family on both sides. And having just a hundred of them to witness our big event, is a little bit of hustle. We need to eliminate some of our relatives from the list. Just invite a representative per family. Good thing it's a pandemic. We have a reason and another option to give them. Yes, if you're familiar with zoom meetings, that's one thing that helps us to invite our friends and relatives not physically but virtually. In that way, they can see the event on their gadgets and witness how we got married. At this moment, we're thanking them for spending their time with us even virtually. We saw our relatives and friends even from far away places. That's the advantage of technology nowadays. And of course, discovered it because of a pandemic. We ended our wedding by eating, pictorials, and some programs. We also ate the cake and open some gifts. After that, we go back to the hotel. We get a free stay at the hotel for 24 hours. Thanks to the chosen venue, they give freebies out of the wedding package we get. We spend our time taking some pictures again... Can you see his eyes? He spotted something. Well, it's about time. Lol. A lot of pictures were taken during that night until our photographer said goodbye and allowed us to have time as husband and wife. We go to our room, change our clothes, take a shower, and ordered some food for our dinner and some alcoholic drinks as well... And you know what happened next? . . . . . . **-THE END-**  `Disclaimer: All photographs by me, unless otherwise stated.`

Our Wedding Journey Part 1: Engagement Night + Pamamanhikan + Prenup Our journey starts with **"Will you marry me?"** and ends with **"I do."** Every one of us has a different love story. And so wedding story too. In this article, I will summarize everything that happened connected to our wedding. December 28 is getting nearer and that's the date we made our vows that we will love each other eternally. I want to reminisce about everything that happened and shared it with you. 🟥 **Engagement night** It was our 95th monthsary when my hubby decided to take my hand and put a ring on it. Yes, engagement night just like others call it. Everything was planned, even my parents know. Everyone anticipates except me. Well for some reason, I have an idea that it will come, but I don't know how he will do it. Well... Just like usual, we're celebrating our monthsary at home with our friends and relatives. We're done eating our dinner so we're planning to gulp some alcoholic drinks and be happy the entire night. We also have videoke. At that moment I was mixing some juice, soft drinks, and gin when my Uncle told me that my hubby got injured. He's in pain after stepping on a nail. A lot of blood comes out and that's not good. To my surprise, I hurriedly go to that spot and check what happened. It was so dark, that only a flashlight can help us see. I examined his wound thinking about how to help him ease the pain. But as I saw it, I already know it was not real blood. It's not as red as the blood was and a little bit sticky. I knew it. That's all a prank. I'm not worrying at all and telling them it's not true. But my Mom got angry and yelled at me that I should hurry and get some alcohol and cotton for him. I got shocked at how she was so nervous that in fact, it was not true. But still, I obeyed her, I went inside our house to get some alcohol and cotton and bring it outside. Back to the scene, he was already holding the engagement ring with ketchup on it. Yeah, ketchup is the blood that he used. I told you it's so unreal.  I can't believe that's how he proposed.  I'm not yet answering when suddenly, some of our friends and cousins show their banners stating **"Will you marry me?"** Not that perfect, they show it the other way, **"Me marry you will"**. Such an epic engagement.  But still, my hubby complained that he made a lot of effort that night but he will receive no answer. I can feel his uncomfortable voice and trembling hands. Well, a lot of people are watching and taking videos. So without hesitation, I answered him, **"Yes!"** And he put the ring in my hands and that was the start of our wedding journey. **🟥 Pamamanhikan** I don't know what's the right term for this in English, but this is the time when the groom-to-be is asking the girl's parent's permission to bless and approve their wedding. He will go to his fiance's house with his parents and relatives, bring some food, and have a meeting with the whole family to discuss the wedding. They will talk about when is the best date for it, what time, who will be the assigned persons for it to be organized, where is the venue, etc. Everything needs to be discussed and consider each other's opinions. Of course, the couple must be the final decision for that meeting. In this way, everyone knows and respects the plan of that couple. This is what we did and it all went well. They bring a lot of food and spend the whole afternoon and night celebrating that pamanhikan. **🟥 Prenup** I always love having memories of us since then. And prenup is one of the things I want to happen. This is not a must for some couples, but because I want it he considered having it. We planned what clothes to wear and where is the best place for photo shoots? Everything was already planned and so the photoshoots happened. We woke up so early to go to the venue before sunrise, but it didn't happen. It's so far that going there in an instant with a lot of things to consider is a bit difficult. But still, every snap and photo is worth our effort. Thanks to our great and humble photographer who teaches us everything that we need to do. From how we look at the camera to how we will present ourselves. We don't know how to pose, but everything went well. Well, consider having a helpful family that surrounds you, that will surely guide you till the end of the photoshoot. Always grateful to have them at our side. And also to my Aunt that became my makeup artist that day, she's pregnant but managed to hike with us to the venue we'd chosen. Such an extraordinary spirit she has. Can't forget their sacrifices that day and how fortunate we are to have them.  `Disclaimer: All photographs by me, unless otherwise stated.`

Introducing: Cashrain **What is Cashrain?** **Cashrain** is a new platform created by Kim Dotcom. It is where people create different communities. You can join some of the developed communities, and be a member of them. People can send free Bitcoin Cash **(BCH)** to *"rain"* for the members of each community. **How to Start Using It** You can use Cashrain by clicking some of the invite links. I saw some of it yesterday on the noise.app. I got amazed at how they received dozens of BCH tips in just a few hours. So I click the link, scan the QR code through my bitcoin.com wallet scanner, and created my account. Through scanning, you're also connecting your BCH wallet through the platform. After that, I joined some interesting communities. And voila! I started receiving BCH tips. As of the moment, I have had $3.20 since 2 am. And it still got added just right now. Yes, being part of this platform is effortless. Whenever cashrain happens in the community where you joined in, it rained money **(BCH)**, and that's also the time you'll receive some. So, any registered member can now be part of an enormous airdrop. Also, everyone who joined the Cashrain can connect to their social media accounts like Twitch, Twitter, and Discord by clicking a link to each community. On my part, I joined with my Twitter. I also participated in following some of the community leaders, liking and retweeting their tweets. Also, in every Cashrain community, there's a Cashrain option where you can also distribute some BCH by typing the amount to hand out, and the number of receivers. So you can't only receive, but you can also have a chance to share what you have. **Why BCH?** Kim Dotcom sees potential in BCH. As we all know, BCH has a fast transaction. It is instantly performed and has cheaper fees. You can send it to anyone **(enabling peer-to-peer payments between individuals)**, anywhere in the world. It is also borderless and secure. I already tested the BCH potential by using it on read.cash, noise.cash, and noise.app. It's like cash that you can use right away but in digital form. It also helps me a lot whenever I need money. Buying a washing machine through my BCH hodl is one of my best achievements so far. So what are you waiting for? Click this link: https://cashrain.com/invite/mcky3aw7qvo and join the Cashrain, where it rained BCH!

+25.659 Hive (Power-up!) `"Little progress is better than no progress at all. Success comes in taking many small steps." - John C. Maxwell` I did it!! This 1st day of December is a special day for the Hive community. I always read about it when I first landed on this platform. HPUD is one of the most awaited moments of those hives. And as one of them, I also wait for this moment to come. And finally, it arrives. This morning I struggle on completing my Hive as it was just 9 Hives in total. And I have $5 on my HBD. I just know one thing to convert it and it takes 3 days to complete. That's not necessary. This day is the only day to do the power-up and it needs at least 10 hives. So I ask my discord friends how to convert it instantly. Good thing I ask, coz they teach me to do it on the wallet.hive.blog/market. That is the site I was searching for, but can't find it without asking for assistance from those who know. So I immediately open that site... Buy 16.367 hives with my 5.958 HBD, then click **"Ok"**. That solves my problem of just having 9 hives in total. So, now... I have more than 10 hives to do the power-up. But after reading some posts regarding the HPUD, I read one rule that **"Your total HIVE Power (before the 1st) must be more than 100 and less than 8000."** That makes me sad again, knowing I don't have that big amount of HP. I'm just 25 days old in Hive with some inactive weeks after my cellphone got broken. Now I'm using our laptop, but have a limit on using it because of being a full-time mom. But because I have some hives to power up, why not use it still for that goal? So I did. I powered up, then voila, my HP got added. I have now 52.314 HP. That's too small compared to those who's using Hive for a long time and of course to those users who have a lot of time here. But still, I'm happy it got added, and after trying my first upvote with that HP, I can see the improvement. Yeah, it's now $0.001 compared to $0.000 before. I love to see that number. It adds to the value at least. And after some more minutes, @hivebuzz mentioned me in his comment, and here it is: My power-up just received some personal badges! So it means it's qualified? 🧐 Still confused, but then that's it. I did it! Till next HPUD again!

Kalabasa(Squash) okoy Every day is a struggle with what recipes we can cook. And of course, it depends on what ingredients we have in our kitchen. Vegetables are always one of our options to maintain a healthy body. So now, I want to share with you one of my recipes when it comes to kalabasa *(squash)*. **Kalabasa** is one of the vegetables that I hate when I was a kid. It just tastes different. Even though I know it is rich in vitamin A, which is good for our eyes, I can't force myself to love it. I remember before when I'm just 5 years old, my Mom pushed me to eat kalabasa, she got angry, and because of that, I tried to swallow a small piece of it. But then ended up throwing up. So now, I know kids or even adults struggle on eating veggies. So this recipe will help you cook kalabasa without forcing someone to eat it or will end up throwing up. I'm confident to say that you will love this recipe. This is just so easy to make and budget-friendly. So without further ado, let's start cooking! **🔴Ingredients:** • 250 g pumpkin grated • 2 cloves garlic minced • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour • 1 egg • salt and pepper to taste • ginisa mix *(optional)* • 1/2 cup oil for frying **🔴Procedures:** 1. Grate first the kalabasa. Be careful about doing this as grater are so sharp that they could slice your hands. Then set aside. 2. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients: kalabasa, garlic, flour, egg, salt, and pepper. Then add ginisa mix for additional flavor. You can also use another breading mix like crispy fry instead of using flour. It's complete flavor, no need to add salt and pepper. 3. Mix it well to make a thin sticky batter. 4. In a pan, put the oil and heat it over medium heat. Lay at least 5 tbsp of the mixture or depending on how small or big you want it. 5. Pan-fry it for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove it from the pan. Make sure to eliminate excess oil or put it in a paper towel to absorb. And that's it. It's ready to serve and consume. It tastes better if you add some ketchup to it. This recipe is delicious that you won't think it's made of kalabasa. So for those who are picky eaters out there. This recipe is good for you. Or mommies that have kids who don't want to eat veggies, this dish might interest them. It tastes just like fried chicken or any meat product like chicken nuggets... Something like that. Also, you can make it more engaging to eat if you prepare it bigger, like how huge pizza is. Then slice it into 4... And it's ready to consume just like how you eat pizza. I hope you learned something today. A new way of cooking kalabasa. Or maybe you knew this already. Well, if that's the case maybe you know other ingredients to make it more delicious than usual. Don't hesitate to share it through the comment section. 😉

Interview Questions for my Experiences in Hive as a Newbie I've created my account in Hive for 2 weeks now, but posting and interacting within 1 week. I experienced some difficulties at first but got to learn some tactics by reading and interacting with some co-hives. Now I can say I'm a little bit familiar with the platform while using ecency and peakd at the same time. Well, some are still in the process of learning but as a newbie, I know you understand the complications. Now, I have here some interesting questions, and I'll answer them based on what I experienced in Hive. **What’s one thing you wish you’d known when you started working at Hive or what advice would you give to a newbie?** One thing that I wish I understand in Hive and known from the start is how to use RC **(Resource Credit)**. This is the only struggle I encountered as a newbie so far. After creating an account, I don't have any idea how to start or what to do to join the crowd. So I just hang in there, without posting or interacting. After a week, I got a notification from the Ecency app that I need to write something. So that motivates me to read some of the posts, and know how to start or what to post. Then I learned that a self-introduction is a must. I understand the process... You're just new, hopping into a new place, then you'll not introduce yourself? That's a disrespectful way of being a newbie. So maybe that's reasonable enough to write a self-introduction and start my journey on Hive. So I did. I've created a self-introductory post and published it, then there you go, I did my first step. That post is the only thing I did, then @crazywrites6 who referred me commented. So what I did is upvote, and reply, just like usual. But then after that... I don't have any RC left... Can't comment on anyone even for the next day. That confused me. So... What I did is read and browse some of the beginner's guides that others commented on my first post. Thanks to them. It's a big help for all the newbies like me. So... newbies, my advice is to read and read and read first about how Hive works. There are plenty of things we need to know before jumping into publishing, commenting, and interacting with others. Here is what I've found helpful on my part: **PART 1 -** https://ecency.com/hive-189306/@ryzeonline/hive-a-complete-beginners-guide-with-fun-doodles-pt-1 **PART 2 -** https://ecency.com/hive-189306/@ryzeonline/hive-a-complete-beginners-guide-with-fun-doodles-pt-2 These 2 posts are from @ryzeonline. That's 2 portions of his blog. It's long but worth it to read. You'll surely learn some basic information about how Hive works simply and enjoyably as it has a doodle on it. And also before I forgot, if you're like me who was ignorant about RC at first and didn't save some of it. I mean spend it all without knowing it could be empty soon, you can try joining The Terminal at Discord. They are ready to help you as a newbie, maybe delegating some RC when you don't have enough of it. And any questions related to Hive are welcome on their general chat. **What’s your go-to productivity trick?** As of now, I'm into the *"self-exposure"* trick. As a newbie, I want to be known by some of my co-hives. And like what I've read in @KittyGirl's post on discord, posting regularly, commenting, and interacting with others' posts, and of course, upvoting even if we don't have enough Hive Power to give a good amount is okay. That's my goal every day... And ohh, I'm trying to reblog good posts too, just 2 posts for a day is enough to help them with their posts. :)) **What led you to this career?** I'm a full-time online worker before. But now that I have a baby, I can't prioritize work **(8 hours working in front of a laptop)**. I'm just a full-time mom now without a salary. 😅 And yes, it's hard to rely on my hubby for our everyday needs. I need to assist him in some way that I can. And because blogging is one of my *"talents"* **(not that good though 😅)**, I grab the opportunity whenever there is. So I joined Hive. And I'm shocked at how good it is. Good thing I've signed up and now trying to earn little by little. Well, I'm not yet getting my profit because of the 7 days duration... but let's claim it. Someday, this is all worth it. **What are you currently excited about in your job at Hive?** Honestly, receiving a lot of notifications on my phone... Hearing the messages coming one after another means I have been upvoted. The curation trail is one thing that amazes me in Hive. Especially on my first post. When @ocdb upvoted, there comes the trail... That's a lot that you'll surely get excited about when you're not used to it. Well, I still felt that excitement till now whenever the curation trail upvoted you. Same in read.cash when TheRandomRewarder upvoted your post, that's like a curation trail, one after another. Well, that's before. Missing it now, honestly. 😅 I hope this interview's questions and answers can help those newbies. Not that much information, but basic knowledge that helps me at first might benefit you too.  😉 Disclaimer: All photographs by me, unless otherwise stated.
