3 months on Read.Cash: Goals for January

What's up fellow readers on this platform!
Today is the second day of the year 2022 and at the same time, my 3rd month of being active on this platform--Read.Cash. I feel so blessed to be able to stay here despite the issues that I confronted last month. It was indeed an early achievement for this year. Yay! Being part of this amazing community of amazing writers is still overwhelming. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to be able to contribute something on this platform. I was not accustomed to writing but because of this amazing platform, I was able to express my emotions through writing and thus improve even more this skill. Furthermore, I would have to say that at a span of 3 months, I have observed that I am improving day by day. Without a doubt, writing blog entries have become part of my everyday routine. Whenever I fail to write a blog for the day, I feel like I'm not being productive. I always feel like fail to carry out completely my tasks.

For this blog entry, allow me to share with you the goals that I would like to achieve for this month of January. And so let's get started!
**1. Achieve 75 subscribers on Read.Cash.**
I would have to admit the fact that last month, I wasn't able to gain at least 10 subscribers due to some conflict of time. I spent most of my time working on my academic tasks. This time I will try my best to interact in the platform more to gain more acquaintances.
**2. Gain 270 subscribers on Noise Cash**
Not only the platform Read.Cash that has been affected of my inactivity last month but also the Noise.Cash platform. With that said, I am challenging myself to gain this amount of subscribers and gain more interactions with the people in the platform.
**3. Save Money**
Actually, I am a frugal person, so I'm confident that I will achieve it. Hopefully there's no problem that involves money. Hahaha. Knowing that we can earn on this platform, it is important that we should be mindful of our money. We should spend our money only for essential things. Be practical! Save money!
**Closing Thoughts**
These are the goals that I want to achieve for this month. I know most of you here if not all, find these goals easy to realize but for me, it's kind of challenging. I just hope that as I end this month, I may be able to congratulate myself for overcoming this challenge.
To conclude this blog, I'd like to congratulate myself for reaching 3 months on this platform. I never would have imagined that I will reach this far. What a success for me tho. I'm on cloud nine today. Eyyy!

Under the bright lights

Greetings dear readers on read.cash!
I just want to greet you all a prosperous New Year! Finally, we were able to welcome 2022! Yay! Indeed, it's another year to fulfill our existing and new goals to achieve. I just hope that you were able to welcome this year having a strong confidence and hope. We may be clueless of what's going to happen for this year, but I personally have a strong feeling that this year is going to be a good year for all of us. I bet it's a year of healing, prosperity, and happiness.
Anyways, I was supposed to write a blog entry yesterday but because I am busy for the Christmas Eve, I decided not to write and just make the most of my time together with my family.

**"They're finally home"**

For this blog entry, this is a continuation part of my previous blog on December 30. And so, without further delay, let's get straight into the topic!
After we had our karaoke session in the morning of October 30, 2021 (which was the day of their arrival after being away for almost a week), my Aunt requested me If I could go with her to Azuela Cove; a particular place in our locality. She wants to go there to take pictures of the place.
To be honest, I was hesitant to go with her because I was planning to travel back to my hometown in the afternoon. I don't know, but I couldn't say no to her because I feel like if I say no, she will be upset on me. So even if I don't want to go, I have no choice. Hahaha.
**FAST FORWARD (Evening) 12/30/21**
I was able to arrive at my Aunt's house at quarter to 7 since she told me that we are going to go to the aforesaid place at 7. Having that said, I wanted to be on time. I thought that she's good to go, but to my dismay, she hasn't dressed up yet. I was kind of irritated at that time. What a waste of time!
I wait her for almost 30 minutes since she has to do her tedious "going-out-look routine." While preparing her get up and all, she suddenly asks her youngest son (my cousin) if he wants to go with us. I was hoping that he won't go with us since he's playing Mobile Legends, but I was shocked because he wants to go as well.
We managed to leave the house at 7:20. We rode a taxi, and we're able to be at the location at 7:40.
I couldn't deny the fact that the place was so magnificent because of the scintillating lights that was hanged on the trees. The place have captured my attention. It's indeed a place where you feel like you are living in the world of fairies. Now I know why my Aunt wanted me to go in this place because she knows that I will like it.
Apparently, we took a lot of good photos and thus, we were able to roam around the vast place. I would have to say that I enjoyed the night.

They're finally home

Warm greetings, my ever-phenomenal peeps on this platform!
As I am writing this blog entry for this evening, I am currently riding a public utility vehicle for the reason that I am going back to my Uncle's humble abode. I was able to go to our boarding house today because I had to clean and prep things out for tomorrow. The reason is that my brother and I are going back to our hometown to celebrate the New Year. I was very happy when my brother told me that he can celebrate with us. At long last! We are complete.
So, tomorrow at 10 in the morning will be his last duty. After working, we are going to travel straight to our hometown. Nonetheless, I just hope that tomorrow, we will have a smooth-sailing travel. I know tomorrow will be a manic day because apparently it's New Year's Eve. Without a doubt, the clock is ticking so fast to the extent that few hours from now, we will get to welcome 2022.

Just this morning, my Uncle together with his family had arrived at their house after staying in Bukidnon for almost a week. If you happened to come across on my previous article, I shared there that they are celebrating the nativity together with their relatives in the aforesaid place. Going back, they arrived at around 5 am. And because of that, my brother and I had to wake up. As a result, we couldn't help but experience a sore in our eyes. We only slept for 3 hours, so that's why.
On one hand, the dogs couldn't help themselves but bark to their heart's content. They are so overwhelmed of the comeback of their owners. On the other hand, as soon as my uncle entered the house, he changed clothes and then go to bed. On the contrary, as for my two cousins, instead of sleeping, they tend to play mobile legends. They really are so addicted of that game. Good thing I don't know how to play mobile legends. I don't even like that game as I find it complicated. Hahaha. Since my Aunt is such a talkative person, so before she slept, she talked to us what happened to their Christmas vacation. We just talked for an hour, and we decided to go back to sleep.
**FAST FORWARD**
At around 9 am I woke up; little did I know that my Aunt as well has woken up already. The first she did is to cook rice. She requested me to fry the remaining ham and the fish in the refrigerator. Aside from me and my Aunt, the rest are still asleep. By the time the breakfast is served, we both decided to take a bite as we are already hungry. When the clock struck 10:30 my brother, uncle, and my cousins have woken up. Right after that, they took their late breakfast while Aunt and I are setting up the karaoke. Undeniably, we made a loud noise in our neighborhood, but we don't bother to care because we were craving for some karaoke time.
**Closing Thought**
We had fun during that moment because we got to bond with our extended family through singing. Unfortunately, we can't celebrate the New Year together with them because you know, we have family as well waiting for us to come home to celebrate this one of the momentous events of life.

Here in my virtual home, I do have a lot of siblings and I'm one of the youngest brothers. Although we don't have a mom here, be that as it may, we have our ever-supportive dad. His name is Rusty. He is a very generous dad and he is rich as well. Hahaha

Just this morning, I did try to track my parcel. By the way, this is not a Shopee budol parcel, but it's a parcel from my Aunt. It's a parcel that contains her laptop. As you may recall my previous blog entry, my Aunt knew that my old laptop got damaged. She wanted to send money to repair my laptop, but I told her that the repair is too expensive. So, instead of sending money for repair, she decided to just give her laptop to me. I'm overwhelmed after she said those words. To be honest, I felt ashamed because I made her feel worried about my situation at that time. Notwithstanding, she gave me the assurance by saying to me that she can buy again a laptop.
After how many days of waiting, finally the parcel has arrived today at the Post Office in our city. So, I told my brother through chat about it. I asked him to accompany me to get the parcel after he is done with his work. Likewise, I told him to clean the room after working and thus, fix his self because by the time I arrive, I want to go straight to the Post Office. On one hand, before heading back to our boarding house, I made sure to clean my Uncle's house and feed the animals. I was able to leave the house at around 10 in the morning.
**Fast Forward**
I arrived at our boarding house at 10:40 am. Good thing my brother is ready to go. Going to the Postal Office in our city will only take us 15 minutes through commuting. When we arrived at the location, I asked the guard what particular window to go if we want to get the parcel. He gave response by saying I should go to window 1. So we did what he instructed. I was relieved that the people present in the vicinity was numerable. I must say that the transaction was smooth-sailing to the extent that we only stayed their for 10 minutes.
Closing Thought
I was able to use my laptop just this evening because the laptop has my Aunt's password, with that said I couldn't access it. She was able to reply to my chat this evening. I really am so blessed. As of the moment, I'm using the laptop because my brother and I are watching Snowdrop. I can't deny the cuteness of Jisoo. She really is an attractive woman. I like her aside from my bias Lalisa. Uwu! Hahaha.

Hey dear readers! What’s up?
AlphaCron is back again with another blog entry that you would take time to read (assuming hahaha).
In case no one told you today, you are doing great. You may fail a couple of times, but I am confident that you can manage yourself to rise from the situation that you are into right now. I know you are such an amazing fighter and so having that said, keep on fighting and don’t let yourself be fooled by your emotions. Indeed, life is like a roller coaster; terrifying, but at the same time exciting. What I’m trying to say is that get used to things that life has to offer. Be bold!
Anyways, how’s your Tuesday folks? I assumed that you had a wonderful day and that you were able to carry out successfully all the tasks that you need to achieve. Well, as for me, I would have to say that I just had a usual Tuesday. All did today is doing some household chores, feeding the animals, and facing my cellular phone all day.
Undeniably, repetitive tasks are unexciting. I just realized today that although I did face on my screen all day, but I wasn’t able to watched at least a single movie. Be that as it may, it’s okay because I was able to read your amazing articles and thus, interact on the platform.

**Living a provincial life in the city**

In contrary, for this blog entry, allow me to share with you the reason why I’m in a terrific mood today. And so, let’s go straight to the main topic of this blog.
Yesterday marks the day of my completion for my Field Study 1 and 2 major subjects this semester. I was able to put an end on my academic requirements on both subjects. Despite the challenges that I faced this semester, it was indeed worth it. I have learned a lot of lessons like being not complacent and do the tasks one step at a time. At long last! I can now say, “***I rest my case***” (apaka oa hahaha). Kidding aside, I am so thankful because God never fails to help me get through with the adversities that I have encountered. Besides, I thank God for giving me the knowledge, wisdom, and the strength to carry on.
I have to admit the fact that I lose hope when my laptop got broke and all my module files in FS 1 and 2 got wiped out. I have no choice but to go back to square one. When that incident happened, I felt like I hit rock bottom. I was so down that time, but I never cried because I was the one to blame. I was too complacent not minding the possible consequence of my negligence.
I don’t know why but because of the incident, I was able to use the opportunity to challenge myself and become more focused. Furthermore, I had to go to the Internet Café 3 to make my academic tasks or even go to my best friend’s place just to borrow her laptop. I said to myself that I should not waste my time and give my triple effort. It was indeed a tragic experience, but I did conquer it.
On the other hand, I believe that managing time efficiently is very essential because through this effort, you were able to allocate the time for every task that you need to accomplish. As a result, you get to achieve a sense of fruition.

Living a provincial life in the city

Bonjour my fellow Read.Cashers!
Today is Monday which means, it’s the start of the weekdays. We cannot deny the fact that weekdays are the days when most of us are grinding; writing blog entries, dealing with the never-ending academic requirements, going back to our respective works, and other tasks to carry out. There are times when we want to just rest. I would say that every person has distinct definition of the word ‘rest’.
In my own perspective, rest does not solely mean doing nothing but just sleep. Rest for me is more of doing something that makes you not think of your task for just a while and just enjoy your time or day watching movies or doing yoga. Rest is something that makes you attain an atmosphere of solitude.
With that said, if you feel like you are bombarded with a lot of tasks, remember that you can always take a break. Relax. Breathe. And by the time that you all right and ready, you can continue doing your tasks. Notwithstanding, always perform things one step at time because if not, there is a possibility that stress will swallow you and that your level of happiness is poor. Having that said, it is crucial that you do tasks that require immediate action. That’s called ‘prioritizing first what’s important.’
Doing things simultaneously is really draining and inefficient. The process may be slow but at least there is an assurance that the output of your performance is remarkable and efficient. As much as possible, we should aim a purposeful outcome.

I couldn’t deny the fact that I had such a bad sleep. Although there’s no sign of humans other than me in the house, however, I woke up so early. I managed myself to wake up at 4 this morning because of the bark of my companion. The noise was too loud to the point that I felt pissed off.
His name is Lilo. Lilo has not yet turned 1 year old. He is just a puppy I guess. However, the way he barks is kind of like an old dog. Anyways, going back, at first, I didn’t get the reason why he was barking at me, so I just ‘***shhh***’ him. He never stopped barking at me as if he’s trying to say something to me. Little did I realize that he desired to go outside; perhaps because he needed to take a poop or sleep together with ***Starla*** and ***Madam*** (other dogs of my Aunt and Uncle) outside. So, I did open the door and let him go outside.
Due to that instance, I was having a tough time going back to dreamland. My body is exhausted, but my mind is alive. With that said, what I did is I close my eyes and just wait until I feel drowsy, but it didn’t work. I have no choice but to use my phone and wait for the light to show.
At 6 am, I started to clean the house. I first fixed the bed, next is I swept the floor. After that, I prepared for my breakfast, so I cooked rice and buy a viand at a local eatery store. While waiting for the rice to cook, I managed to feed the animals. These are the hens, roosters and the fish. As for the cats and dogs, my brother told me that he is the one who will feed them.
Anyways, let me introduce to you the animals my Uncle and Aunt are raising.
**Closing Thought**
Although I am living in metropolis, nevertheless, it feels like I’m in the province because of the animals. I believe living in the city is not an excuse to not raise animals.

A celebration of Love

Warm greetings my super-duper amazing readers on this platform!
How did you spend your Sunday folks? I bet you still celebrate Christmas together with your significant hoomans. Well, being able to make the most out of your time together with the people you love so dearly is a different kind of feeling. You can’t help but feel this genuine happiness and affection that you badly want to feel for the rest of your life.
Undeniably, Christmas is a celebration of love. With that said, we celebrate God for God is love. According to the scriptures, God so love the world to the extent of sacrificing His only-begotten Son Jesus Christ just to cleanse the sins of the world and for us to achieve salvation. That is a clear manifestation that He is a faithful, merciful, sacrificing, and of course a loving God. Without a doubt, God binds us together. He wants us to walk with Him; to walk in the path of righteousness. With that being said, if you feel like no one loves you and that no one cares you, always put in mind that the Lord loves you. He has always been there for you; He always has your back.
We may not celebrate Christmas in the same way, nevertheless, I hope that you were able to spend the nativity filled hope, love, and happiness. Problems will always appear on the surface to test our faith in Him, but may we not be won over by our emotions and instead remember the promise of our Lord that He will never abandon us.

Anyways, I would like to share with you how my day went. And so let’s start!
MORNING |TODAY
I woke up at exactly 6 in the morning, my alarm got me woke up. I only had 6 hours of sleep, but it’s totally fine because I felt like I slept for a long time. So, after I had my morning prayer, I went outside our house to broom the dry leaves in the front yard. Aside from washing the dishes, sweeping with a broom is one of my preferred things to do. I was able to carry out that specific chore while my mother was cooking for breakfast. My mother prepared breakfast so that I could eat before I travel back to my brother in another city where we currently reside. My brother instructed me to wake up early and that I should not travel late because he wanted me to watch over the house of my Uncle. When he says watch over the house, he meant to also feed the chickens, dogs, cats, and fish.
On the contrary, my mother and I ate breakfast together. We managed to both prepare ourselves with a cup of coffee while eating. The reason why I love coffee is because of my mom. Before, she used to sip coffee 3 times a day, but now, she drinks coffee once a day. She has to minimize drinking coffee because she easily gets nervous. After we had our breakfast, my sister and my father have finally woken up. So, they prepare breakfast for themselves.
**FAST FORWARD**
After prepping things out, I did watch some videos on TikTok. While scrolling, I came across with Joshua Garcia’s TikTok video. To my surprise, his videos has reached millions of viewers just by dancing using his hands. There is no denying that he has caught the attention of the many people who are part of the TikTok community. I would have to say that he really has an attractive face, so that’s why a lot of people watched it. Watching his video made me want to do the dance. So I did, however the result is bad, so I deleted it without second-thoughts. Hahaha.
I left the house at around 8:45 am and was able to arrive to another city at 10:22 am. Tonight, I am alone in my Uncle’s house. Since my brother has a work, he has to go back to our boarding house. So tomorrow, I will be the one to feed the animals.
As I'm writing this blog I am currently with my buddy named Lilo.

"E" is for EFFORT: Merry Christmas!

Eyyy what’s up fellow read.cashers!
Today marks the day of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our savior who sacrifices His own life in order to pay all of our transgressions just for us to be saved.. Even if we don’t deserve of His love and faithfulness, He never fails to stick with us and be with us through our highs and lows. There’s no denying that we have an ever-amazing God.
On the contrary, it is undeniable that December 25th is a highly celebrated day in the whole world. Most of us if not all, knows this word, ***CHRISTMAS***. Certainly, we celebrate Christmas differently. Some celebrate Christmas simply and others celebrate it extravagantly.
As for my family, we celebrate the nativity day in a simple way. Although it’s not extravagant, however, that doesn’t bother me to care because we are genuinely happy celebrating it. Our family is grateful and blessed enough to be able to prepare delicious foods in our table.
Anyways, I would say that the main highlights of our Christmas is the picture- taking part and the giving of gifts.
We were able to take pictures before the clock struck to 12 am. By the way, the picture-taking activity took almost 30 minutes.
On th other hand, last year, we were not able to have this gift-giving thingy but we said that next year (which is this year) we should push this christmas activity. Good thing, we were able to push through this. To be honest, this particular christmas activity is kind of exciting because you get to receive something from your loved one which I find it so sweet.
And so, the things that I received from my family are the following: pants, polo shirt, and sando shirt. I can’t take my eyes of the stuffs that I received. I super duper like it. Indeed, my family really knows my taste. With that said, if I were to rate it, it would have to be 10/10.
After we have out gift-giving, we ate our delicious food while listening to kpop songs. HAHAHA. By the time we are done eating, what we did is to watch movie on Netflix. We watched the movie pf Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber entitled, “Princess ‘Daya’ Reese.” I can’t deny the fact that they have such a perfect chemistry to the extent that I felt “kilig” (romantic excitement).

What's up my ever-amazing readers on read.cash!
Today, I woke up with a dizzy head. It's like I'm still riding a bus. By the way, If you happen to come across on my previous blog, I shared there that I traveled back to my hometown to celebrate Christmas together with my mama, papa, and my youngest sister. My brother can't celebrate with us because he has a work. It has been 3 years that he failed to be with us during Christmas.
On the contrary, how's your preparation for the Christmas Eve later? I assumed that you have already prepared everything at this moment. Anyways, going back, I woke up at around 8 in the morning today and had my delicious breakfast. Indeed, no one can beat home-cooked foods. My youngest sister had to leave the house for a while provided that she had to carry out her video performance task on her major subject this semester at her friends house. On one hand, my mother and father had to run some errands in the morning. Having that said, I am alone during the morning. And so, what I did is to clean the house. It took me 3 hours to finish cleaning. After that I started decorating the Christmas tree. I believe most of the households if not all has a Christmas tree. As for me, I can feel the spirit of Christmas if there's a Christmas Tree in our house. Good thing my sister was able to buy Christmas decorations.
Afternoon
My mother and my father returned home at around 1:30 in the afternoon. They brought food for lunch, however I already had eaten. My mama was glad to know that I did clean the house. She admired my cleaning skills. Nevertheless, I don't know if she's just joking me around or not. Hahaha. As for my sister, she arrived at home at 3 pm. Before heading straight home, she went to the mall provided that she bought a gift for mom, dad, and me. Last night, I gave her money as promised. Perhaps, she used the money I gave to buy presents for me. Such a sweet manghud (the youngest sibling/sister). Of course, we didn't know what gift she would give to us. On the other hand, my mother also has a gift for the four of us. I can't deny, I'm excited and can't wait to open my gifts. 💞
Since my mother forgot to purchase a cake, I decided that I should buy instead. So, I asked my sister to accompany me on buying a cake. So we went to the market and bought a cake. Cake was supposed to be our agenda, but my sister and I decided to go to a bodega (warehouse) and there, we roamed around to look for something. As we roamed around the bodega, we happened to come across with this Multi-Functional Rinse One Pot. This electric device is worth **PHP 670 ($13.38)**. Since I brought enough money with me, I purchased it. Thanks to Read.Cash I was able to buy this stuff. We managed to returned home at 5:30 pm.

It's the 23rd of December today and apparently, most of you here have already prepared or in the other way around, will be preparing something for the Christmas eve. Without a doubt, there's only few hours left until Christmas. Who's excited here? I guess we're all excited to celebrate Christmas as it is the only occassion where we feel a sense of joy and excitement. It's the time of the year where we get to reunite with our family after how many months of being away from them.
Indeed, Christmas is supposed to be celebrated merrily, nevertheless, it's not in the case of the people who were affected by the typhoon Odette in my country--the Philippines. Due to the massive destruction brought by the typhoon, as a result, they had no homes to return to. What is more agonizing is the reality that due to this natural cataclysm, they have no choice but to bid goodbye to their lost loved ones. They don’t have a choice but to stay in the evacuation area not minding the danger they could possibly get. Considering that we are still in the pandemic crisis, their health is extremely at stake because of COVID-19 virus.
If only I have an overflowing wealth, I would never hesitate to help my fellow kababayans (citizens). Unfortunately, I am also a less fortunate one. Be that as it may, I may not be able to extend my help through financial aspect, but I believe that ***prayers can move mountains***. With that being said, I pray that the people of Cebu, Leyte, Surigao, Bohol, and other areas affected by the typhoon will rise from this adversity and that they will not lose hope despite being at rock bottom. I pray that a lot of wealthy people will help them in providing the basic necessities for survival. I know things will get better soon. There's no denying that ***God is greater than our problems***. And so, we should not worry for He will never forsake us. I believe that at times like this, we should help one another may it through financial or spiritual. ***Being empathetic and compassionate should prevail in us.***

Just this afternoon, I traveled back to our hometown. I'm confident to go back home considering that I was able to finish 90% of my academic requirements for this semester. So, the stress that I am feeling is not that severe. Lol. Anyways, before heading back to my hometown, I went first to a shopping center to buy presents for my youngest sister. That was quarter to 3 already. Upon entering the establishment, I head directly to the bag section since she told me back then that she she likes to have a travel bag. I was hoping that the bag that she desired is available. Unfortunately, I was upset for the reason that the product is already sold out. Since it’s not available, I had to think of another gift that would make her liked; something that is colorful. And so, as I was roaming, I came across in the towel section. Gladly I was able to find a color violet pastel towel.
To be honest, I decided to just buy only the towel, but I was mesmerized by the tote bag that was hanged near the cashier area. I grabbed the two tote bags with having a color of pink and yellow. I would say that the things that I bought are way too cute and appealing to the eyes and I’m sure my sister will love it.

I arrived at home at around 7 this evening and the first thing I did is to give the gifts that I bought for my sister. She was so ecstatic to see the gifts. As a result, she hugged me. Whether we admit or not, it feels so good to see the people you love appreciate the gifts you give. By the way she doesn’t know yet that I she will also receive money from my brother and me. 🤟🏻

I decided to slept late last night for I believe I was able to carry out successfully my academics yesterday. If only I have a laptop, perhaps I could finish it all within 2 days. I did expect to wake up at around 9 in the morning today since I was able to set my alarm last night, little did I anticipate that my brother would wake me up at 6.
By the time I get to my senses, he then told me that I should go to my Auntie's (my Uncle's wife) place because their schedule of going to Bukidnon has changed and that is today. They will come back home in the 29th of December provided that they will celebrate New Year in their house. Bukidnon is where my Uncle grew up. Anyways, it has been a while since the last time they traveled to Bukidnon. Since traveling is not that strict at this moment of time, they will use the opportunity to meet their loved ones and celebrate Christmas together with them.
Actually, they were planning to go to Cagayan de Oro in my Auntie's hometown to celebrate their Christmas there, however the plan was modified for the reason that the parents of my Auntie is in Cebu City right now. She told me that right after the typhoon hit Cebu City, her parents travel through waters just to know the condition of their children there. Indeed, parents can't help but worry to their children despite the reality that they're already adult. The role of a parent really never stops. I believe death can only stop a parent from being a parent.
On the contrary, since they are leaving the house for a couple of days, my Uncle entrusted my brother to manage the house while they are away. With that said, he is responsible for feeding the chickens, cats, dogs, and the fishes. I'm kind of worried about my brother because he has a work on Christmas and on the preceding days. Considering the distance of our boarding house and their house, it's kind of far. Nevertheless, he told me that he can manage his work and his responsibility to feed the animals and watch over the house.
If only he would let me stay here (Uncle's house) I would surely take care of the animals and clean the house. However, I have to go back to our hometown to celebrate Christmas there with my mama, papa, and my youngest sister. It's so unfortunate that my brother will celebrate Christmas alone. He has a work, so he has no choice tho.

There’s no denying that I have been absent on this platform for 3 days in a row. Actually, this was the first time that I get to absent this long. As much as I want to be active on this platform, however it’s like the odds are not in my favor. It’s not because I have a lot of things that need to be carried out every day but because of the unforeseen situations that I have no control over.
With that said, I am kind of upset of my performance this month considering that I am not the AlphaCron you used to know. Perhaps, you guys knew me as someone who is always active on this platform, someone who often creates a blog entry every day. Be that as it may, I can’t help myself but fail. I believe, ***failure has been attached to our system, and we can’t help but accept it and just conquer failures in life.***
I fail to interact with you all here not because I am tired of reading your blogs but because I’ve been busy with my life as a student to the extent that I couldn’t balance my time here. This month has been a tough month for me deeming that I still haven’t passed my requirements in all of my subjects this semester. That’s why most of the time, I utilize my time dealing with my academic requirements even if it means I have to use my time on Read.Cash. Nevertheless, this is just temporary for once I'm completely done with my academics this semester, I will make sure to bring back the Alpha you once knew. Chour!

December 18, 2021
Due to typhoon Odette, our place had experienced having no signal. The lost of signal lasted for a span of 15 hours. Although the signal has returned at around 11 in the evening, however, the signal is way too weak to the extent that you cannot even see photos on Facebook. Without a doubt, I was not able to work on my academics and at the same time interact and create a blog because of the circumstance.
December 19, 2021
I thought the issue regarding on the signal has been resolved, however, it was still weak. I'm actually pissed at that time because the situation made me idle and unproductive. On one hand, what I did to not get myself bored is I took pictures of myself. After that, I listened all the saved songs on my Spotify app. On the other hand, the signal got stable around 9 pm, but I am no longer awake at that time because I slept early.
**December 20, 2021**
I woke up at 12 am with a feeling of discomfort, it is because our place had experienced a total blackout. My brother was supposed to have his work at 12:30, but he failed to work because the electricity has not returned sooner. Although I felt discomfort, good thing I was able to manage going back to sleep. On the contrary, I would have to say that this day was one of my worst days for the reason that although the signal was already stable at that time, but the issue now is the electricity. We had no electricity for almost 24 hours. Could you believe that? Without having a choice, I had to make a DIY lamp. It is made of rice, oil, and a match stick. I put the rice grains in the cup and put an enough amount of oil and then place the match stick vertically at the center.
Closing Thought
Indeed, I had spent 3 days being unproductive. It was indeed a waste of time and energy. Like what I have said, it is like the odds were not in my favor of me during those times. Certainly, there are things that we have no control over, and so we have to be prepared at all times.

Rest day feels

What's up my homies on this platform!
In case no one told you today, you are an amazing person dear always remember that. You are capable of doing great things, and so, don't you ever doubt yourself. Don't let the words of others affect your confidence and your determination to be at your best. 💖
The weather in my end is still having in the state of melancholy considering that there's a presence of typhoon named "Odette" in our locale. Actually, yesterday, it was raining cats and dogs, and we can't help ourselves but feel unwilling to go out of bed. Having that said, my brother told me to have some rest. I would say that yesterday was my rest day. Since it's my rest day, I didn't touch my academic tasks and just lay on the bed. Thus, I intended not to craft a blog entry. At long last! I was able to relax my brain cells. It feels great to be honest for I didn't mind the things that keep me worry about just a day. So, I slept for like 10 hours. Fortunately, my brother was having his day off yesterday.
And so, what we did yesterday is to finish watching a Korean drama series entitled, ***"Touch your Heart"*** starring ***Lee Dong-wook and Yoo In-na.***
If you are a kdrama fan, you would know these artists that I've mentioned. Anyway, this series was aired two years ago. The story is about a famous actress who happens to be involved in a drug scandal with a son of a conglomerate family, and an arrogant and unemotional attorney.
The actress hears that a well-known author desires her to play a female lead role for a drama series. However, the role is being a lawyer. With that said, she has to gain experience in a law firm as a secretary. That's when they meet each other and grow feelings toward each other.
At first, I was hesitant to watch this series because I thought it's boring, however I was completely wronged after I searched the genre of the series on Google. It's a romantic-comedy genre. I must say that I am one of the people who love to watch romantic-comedy movies. So, after finishing the series, all I can say is that this series is way too cute not to be watched. The lead roles do have a perfect chemistry. They can be a great couple in real-life.
On one hand, what I love about this series is the fact that the supporting characters in the series are given also a significant amount of time to showcase their acting prowess. I therefore conclude that this series is a must-watch not only because the genre is romcom, but you can likewise gain learnings out from watching it. Thanks to Netflix we were able to watch this series.
On the contrary, the next series we watched is entitled, ***"The King's Affection."***
It's also a Korean drama series accessible on Netflix. This series is aired this year starring ***Park Eun-bin and Rowoon***. The story is about a fraternal royal twins (a male and female). The female twin was abandoned right after she was born for being female. However, she's later enforced to disguise as a man in order to become the crown prince. The reason why she had to disguise is because his brother is killed disguising as her. So the genres of this series are romance, historical, comedy, etc. My brother and I were able to finish watching the series provided that we only have to watch the two remaining episodes.

I can't deny the fact that these two series that I have mentioned here are worth the watch as it not only makes you feel romantic excitement, but also you can learn life lessons like ***even though life is so harsh, still there's part of life that is beautiful.***

I couldn't deny the reality that I miss being active on this platform. I miss reading blog entries and at the same time interacting with my gees here. Please forgive for being inactive these past few days, I've been confronted with a lot of tasks (mostly academic tasks). Yesterday, I decided not to craft a blog provided that I intended my time for my academic endeavors. You know, academic is life. HAHAHA
Kidding aside, anyways, I went to my best friend's house for the reason that we already planned to deal with our modules together provided that there's an available laptop that I could borrow. Besides, we also planned to make our bulletin board and educational vlogs regarding the bulletin board and our instructional materials which is part of our performance tasks.

So, I traveled almost 30 minutes just to go at her place. That was around 4 pm. By the way, before going to my best friend's place, I already asked permission to my brother if I could stay overnight at her place. Fortunately, he allowed me to without having second-thoughts. Besides, he knew my best friend already when we were in our 1st year in college. On the contrary, I arrived at her place and saw that she has already readied the materials that we will use in making a bulletin board. What we did first is to clean the floor so that we can place our art materials, and other things needed to be set up.
After setting up everything, we then started doing our vlog regarding on making a bulletin board. I would have to say that we had fun shooting the vlog because we had to take a couple of video clips for our vlog introduction. Lol. If only we could include our bloopers to make our vlog more hilarious. HAHAHA.
So here's the finish look of our bulletin board. Does it look good? Well, I must say that it's not the best bulletin board, but it's not that worst tho. It's been a while since the last time I indulged myself to artsy task. Even though I didn't use this skill often, nevertheless I compensated it by using other skill like what I'm doing right now; writing.
FAST FORWARD
I would have to say that I was able to maximize my time yesterday. And when I say I maximized my time, I mean I utilized my time to the extent that I slept so late. I slept at around 3 am. To tell you frankly, it's my first time to stay so late just to deal with my academic stuff. It's so new to me that I work on my tasks during the night. Although you can likewise feel the atmosphere of tranquility at night however, mornings will always be my favorite part of the day. Actually, today was the deadline of our academic outputs, however it was moved but because I personally ask my Teacher if she reschedules the deadline. Good thing, my teacher has a sense of empathy.

First of all, I'd like to say sorry for being inactive yesterday. I was not in the mood to write a blog entry for the reason that my mind was so preoccupied. I'm thinking of what will be the outcome of my teaching demonstration considering that I'm not confident enough of the course material that I was assigned to teach. To be honest, I find the subject Electrical Installation and Maintenance a complex subject, but I have no choice but to handle this subject.
The reason why I wasn't able as well to write something yesterday because my brother and I went to the mall, and we were ale to go home at around 7:20 in the evening. Whenever I write, I always consume significant amount of time, so that's why I told myself that I should just publish a blog tomorrow (which is today.) I'm kind of upset actually because I wasn't able as well to post something in my Noise.Cash. AlphaCron is absent yesterday.

PRESENT |TODAY
Today is the day of my teaching demonstration. So, I went to her house and arrived there at 8:15 in the morning. When I arrived at her house, she's still asleep. I couldn't help but laugh at her face because she was so weird to look at. Her nonbiological mother told me that she slept so late just doing academic tasks. I can't deny we're both quite opposite because she used to do her academic tasks at night while I'm doing it during the day.
On one hand, the reason why I went to her because I have no laptop. I asked her yesterday about borrowing hers and she agreed to it provided that she was running errands today. So, she had to leave at quarter to 11 provided that she needed to travel for hours. It's a church-related errands anyway.
Anyways, the schedule of my teaching demonstration was set at 1 pm. Prior to that, I spent studying and researching the topic that I'm going to teach. The topic is not that simple, so I have to gain more knowledge about it because I believe in the saying that you can't give what you don't have.
FAST FORWARD
I was quite disappointed for the reason that out of 15 students who voted in the poll who will attend my class, only 3 who were able to attend. I was just upset because it would be more okay if they are all present in my class. Be that as it may, I understand my students. I guess they have good reasons why they failed to attend. In spite of that, I'm still thankful for my 3 students. I was able to deliver my instruction to them. I would have to say that my demo teaching performance is not that good, but it's not that bad. Likewise, I just hope that my cooperating will give me a satisfactory grade because after all, this kind of class setup is way too difficult.
Closing Thoughts 💡
I kind of relate my situation to this statement of Heath Ledger, **"Your biggest supporter is a stranger."** Although these 3 students are stranger to me, however they never hesitated to support me by managing themselves to attend on my demonstration teaching class. I'm deeply touched by their effort. These students deserve a reward tho.

How's the start of the weekend dear? I'm confident that you are doing something great and thus, enjoying the day because why not? Right? Well, in my case, I did enjoy this day. I did enjoy answering this never-ending academic tasks (insert sarcasm). Kidding side, I'm getting closer to the finish line. I just need a little push.
So, today I was able to finish making my PowerPoint presentation for my teaching demonstration for this upcoming week. Although I only made one ppt, however I consumed 4 hours. I would have to say that when it comes to my academics, as much as possible I want to give my all. I may not be the most intelligent student, but I know to myself that I could give more. With that being said, why would I settle for less? That's what I always tell to my cousins. If they can give their best to their academics, then they shouldn't settle for less.
Sometimes, we need to push ourselves beyond limits to know how far we can go and what can we really attain. You will never know what you're capable of doing if you always limit yourself. Sometimes we need to challenge ourselves in order to bring out the best in us. Challenging ourselves means we are up for something new, something that would enable ourselves to maximize our potentials.

"Money Doesn't Grow On Trees"
Money is not easy to earn or acquire. With that being said, we should make use of our money purposefully. Living in this clueless world, it is imperative that you're wise on your choices. Spend your money only on the things that matter. As much as possible, be frugal. However, don't forget to reward yourself because that's what keeps you motivated.
"Barking Up The Wrong Tree"
You can all agree with me that we tend to become judgmental persons most of the time. Even though we didn't judge the person verbally, but It's undeniable that our minds are capable of doing it. That's why we can't help but commit sin. In addition, sometimes we tend to bark up the wrong tree which lead to conflicts. Sometimes, we tend to make unpleasant impression to someone even if we don't know yet his/her substance as a person.
"Jack of all trades Master of None"
I must say that I can do a lot of things. I know how to sing, dance, draw, write, and the like, but I have to admit that I don't have something that I can truly say, "I'm good at this and that." I feel insecure to other people because they are good at a particular skill and that they really out stand. However, I later realized that I'm actually blessed to gain various skills. God has given me these skills for me to nurture and to use it to glorify Him. I'm proud that I am Jack of all trades master of none.
"Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining"
Despite the commotion that is happening in our world, I'm still hoping that everything's going to be alright maybe not now, but soon. The Lord said that when the time is right, he will make it happen. He will soon bring back everything to normal. Let's just trust in Him with all of our heart. On one hand, If you feel like giving up, always remember that God is not giving you challenges that you can't handle. May the challenges we are facing today will serve as a prospect to make us even bolder. Indeed, every cloud has a silver lining. ***Don't lose hope, have faith. Be positive in life.***

Today is Friday, and yet I am so busy the whole morning and afternoon combatting with my modules. Today is supposed to be my stress-free day, however, I couldn’t help myself but use this as an opportunity to get in touched with my Field Study 2. I wasn’t able to mind this subject provided that I’m focusing on the other subject which is the Field Study 1. By the way these subjects are only exclusive to education students.
There’s no denying that Christmas is just around the corner, and so are my academic endeavors this semester. I still have a lot on my plate, but I’m getting there. As much as I want to use my spare time reading blog entries and at the same time interacting with you all here, however I needed to utilize it so that I could get ahead of the deadline. I must push myself beyond. With that being said, please forgive AlphaCron. I promise to make up with you all here once I have all the time in the world. Chour! Hahaha

Thus, I can’t afford to fail this semester. I’m way too close to graduating so having that said, there’s no room for me to complain about my situation at this moment of time. I may be facing with a lot of challenges this year, but I will confidently overcome it for I know that there’s a Supreme Being who’s with me throughout my life’s journey in this world. Likewise, I know He will never leave me nor forsake me.
Not only that, but I will never underestimate Him for I know that His plans are much better compare to mine. I just have to let Him be the author of my life. Undeniably, even though there are a lot of prominent writers in the world, nothing beats God when it comes to writing. His works are meticulously designed. Having that said, we are just second best.
On the contrary, just this afternoon at around 5 pm, I decided to go to a barber shop. It has been almost 3 months since the last time I had my hair cut. The reason why I intended to cut my hair is because I'm going to have my teaching demonstration next week. And so, it is important that I should look presentable to my students. I should look like a teacher. Honestly, I'm kind of nervous about this teaching demo thingy, although it was not my first time doing it. I guess my emotions are valid, but I should be confident. Be that as it may, I just hope that I would be able to manage a virtual classroom. Anyways, I know I can do this thing.
Does my hair suit me well? To be honest, I really do like the outcome of my hair. It's like I look like a 17-year-old boy here (I hope you agree with me as well). Hahaha. Good thing the barber was able to get my instructions tho. He really is a patient and kind person. He knows how to entertain his customers by talking to them to not feel an awkward atmosphere.

Hey my dear readers on Read.Cash!
I woke up with a sore in my eyes considering that I only had 5 hours of sleep. My brother and I decided to stay the night in our Uncle's place. If you happened to read my previous blog entry, I shared there that we are going to visit our extended family. So yesterday, we got to have the chance to do some catching ups. Having that said, we were able to sleep last night at around 2 am.
Nothing special happened today for the reason that I'm just dealing on my modules. Please forgive for not being able to interact with you all today. I promise to make up with you all. By the way, my brother was able to make lasagna for the first time. He only uses a rice cooker to steam the lasagna. Thanks to YouTube because although it's his first time to make lasagna, however he nailed it tho. I must say that the lasagna was way too delicious!

Anyways, for today's blog entry, allow me to share my thoughts regarding on the random words that I got from the ever-generous Random Generator. LOL. Since I don't have a topic to write about, well I'm going to try this out!
And so, I’m going to cut the crap and go directly to the main topic of this blog entry!
1. Friendly
I'm confident that I have this attribute. Whether I admit it or not, I'm a talkative person and that makes me gain acquaintances. I believe being friendly enables you to create linkages from others and thus, build relationships. Being friendly promotes an atmosphere of trust.
2. Theater
I was once a theater student way back in Junior High School. I couldn't deny, I missed performing on stage. I missed acting. Likewise, I would say that I was able to showcase the other version of me before. Not only that, but I had a lot of good memories being a theater student, and it was a great experience that I will forever treasure.
3. Faith
Despite the situation we’re currently into, may we never lose hope. I know that there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. With that being said, let’s continue to have faith in our God. He knows our struggles and I know he will never forsake us. He doesn’t give challenges that we can’t manage. God’s plan for us is much meaningful and better, so let’s put our hundred percent trust to Him.
4. Stress
Stress is undeniably inevitable especially if you're exposed to the factors that could trigger this kind of feeling. However, it is imperative of us to find coping mechanisms to combat it. I believe it's okay not to be okay sometimes because we are human beings capable of being vulnerable. However, being not okay for a long time is not okay. Having that said, find a way to gain control of yourself; of your emotions.
5. Scholar
This is not to brag, but I'm a scholar in the university where I'm currently studying. You can become a scholar once you passed the entrance exam. If my memory serves me right, out of seven thousand students who took the exam, only two thousand were able to pass, and I'm one of those who passed the exam. With that being said, I have no tuition fees to pay except for my P.E and school uniform. Being a scholar is a great blessing that I received from God. I wouldn't be able to pass the exam if it were not for His grace and mercy.

Just a quick chit-chat before heading straight to the main subject of this blog entry, at long last, my brother and I were able to go to our Uncle's house. As you may happened to read my anile blog, I shared there that before my brother and I live together, my brother happened to stay in my Uncle for years. We can't help ourselves but feel the adrenalin rush. We are excited to meet our Uncle, his wife, and my two cousins. If my memory serves me right, I think it has been 6 months since the last time we visited them. If we miss them a lot, I'm sure they miss us too. I would have to say that my Uncle and my Aunt are some of the nicest people I've known. I can attest how authentic and thoughful they are. I have considered them as my second guardians. No words can show how much we're grateful and blessed to have them as our extended family.

Anyways, for this blog entry, I will be answering some 'would you rather' questions coming from the Random generator. And so without further segues, let's get started!
1. Would you rather live in a world where aliens ruled the world?
It's definitely a big NO for me. Human beings are stewards of this planet Earth. Therefore, no foreign entity should rule this planet. I believe if aliens will rule the world, there's a big chance that there will have a massive destruction just like what we always see in the movies. They will only bring nothing but harm and tragedy. They don't even deserve to invade our planet in the first place.
2. Would you rather have neighbors who were noisy or neighbors who were nosy?
I would rather choose the first one which is the noisy neighbors because having a nosy neighbors makes you live a chaotic life. What I hate the most is when someone invades my privacy. Nosy people loves to meddle on other people's lives. All they do is to judge others. In today's generation, people who likes to gossip other people is called "***Marites***." Marites means "***mare anong latest***." So if you're a certified gossiper, then I should call you Marites. Hahaha
3. Would you rather be able to control fire or be able to control water?
I would rather control water, because I would have the chance to control any bodies of water. Besides, water is much more powerful than fire. Perhaps, if I could control this element, I would definitely go underwater and explore the majestic view of coral reefs and be able to meet some marine animals. Likewise, I would be able to walk on water.
4. Would you rather fly free anywhere at any time or eat free anywhere at any time?
Earning money is achievable but flying isn't. So, I would rather choose flying free anywhere at anytime having my money in my pocket or sling bag so that when I happen to stop by in South Korea or whatever country I would like to go, I can buy foods to eat. Lol. By the way, I still need to convert it my money tho. Hahaha
5. Would you rather be a good cook or be well organized?
To be honest, I don't like cooking. Actually I can cook but I just don't like when I'm in the kitchen. And so, I would go with being well-organized. I must say that I'm a type of person who prefers to clean the house, wash the dishes and clothes, and other household chores than cooking. I do love eating but not cooking. 😅

Warm greetings my awesome Read.Cash readers!
Just this morning, I went to an internet cafe in our neighborhood. Since my best friend is not available today provided that she's busy with her life, so, instead of waiting for her to be available so that I could borrow her laptop for a while, I decided to just go with the option of doing my academic tasks at the aforementioned place.
We can't deny the fact that sometimes, things just don't go the way we have planned. Good thing, I was able to carry out successfully my academic endeavors for the day. It's a relief tho. Anyways, I started doing my tasks at around 9:30 am and ended at past 12 pm. I can't deny I exhaust my fingers typing my answers on Microsoft Word, but I have no choice but to do it because it's a must. Our outputs are to be submitted via soft copy since it's convenient and inexpensive. If only I have my laptop with me, I would've put my answers right away.
One one hand, after accomplishing my school tasks, of course, I did eat my lunch. I wasn't able to cook rice and so what I did is to buy a viand and cooked rice in the nearby eatery. My brother and I decided not to eat rice for breakfast. With that being said, what we ate instead was Pancit Canton having "chili mansi" as the flavor.
I believe most of the Filipinos if not all, really like to eat Pancit Canton whether they eat it on breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I would have to say that this kind of food is way too delicious, however, the downside of eating this particular food is way too detrimental for the health. So as much as possible, it is crucial to not eat this kind of food in a daily basis because I have discovered that consuming too much instant noodles can lead you to develop this so-called metabolic syndrome. It is said that metabolic syndrome is a condition that augments your risk for diabetes, heart problems, hypertension, and the like.
Good thing we seldom eat instant noodles because we are reminded by our parents to not eat foods that has poor nutrient content which is not good to consume everyday. Even though my brother and I are already adults, still my parents can't help themselves but be nosy when it comes to the foods that we eat. Of course, their concern for our health is very much appreciated.
Way back when we were still kids; back when we still live together, my father used to plant vegetables in our backyard. Having that said, we are accustomed to eating whatever types of vegetables are available in our vegetable garden. I would have to say that my siblings and I are not picky eaters. We love vegetables so much. It's fortunate for us that our parents managed to encourage us to eat greens.
Anyways, my favorite vegetables are, eggplant, malunggay (moringa), squash, beans, alugbati (malabar spinach), okra (lady's finger), sayote (chayote), cabbage, carrot, cucumber, and a lot more.

I believe it's okay to eat the foods that you like, nonetheless, always be reminded to consume it in moderation. Indeed, health is wealth and so it is necessary for each one of us to prioritize our health. Let's live a healthy life! I guess I'll have to end my blog here.

I can't deny that although Monday is not my favorite day of the week, nevertheless, I must say that I feel most productive during this particular day. Having that said, today, I was able to accomplish some tasks that need to be carried out today like reading at least 15 articles and my modules. Actually, I was able to finish one of my modules in Field Study 1. All I need to do is to type in my answers through Microsoft Word.
Having that said, perhaps, I will go tomorrow to the Internet Café or to my best friend. I just don't know if she's available tomorrow because a while ago, as I was seeing my days on Facebook, I came across with hers and I must say that she went to another city together with her church mates and Pastor. Maybe, I should choose the first one.

Anyways, I've been wanting to try out this 'Never have I ever' questions. With that being said, this is going to be my topic for today's blog. And so, without further intros, let's get started!
1. Never have I ever got seriously hungover.
To be honest I'm not accustomed to drinking alcohol. I never indulged myself drinking with my colleagues. I said to myself when I was in Senior High School that I will try the things that I haven't done like drinking alcohol. Unfortunately, when I stepped into College I wasn't able to attain it provided that I realized that why would I force myself to drink when I don't like to drink alcohol in the first place? I shouldn't pretend myself just to feel belonged. In a nutshell, drinking alcohol is not my thing and I haven't experienced a serious hungover.
2. Never have I ever traveled to Europe.
I haven't been to Europe tho. Amfeeling HAHAHA. Maybe in the future, I would be able to travel to this continent and soon visit the city of love; Paris, France and thus, be able to visit the famous Louvre Museum and the Eiffel Tower, of course. These are the places that I want to go to when I go to France.
3. Never have I ever got a tattoo
Since I was little, my parents won't allow us to write something on our skins because they dislike it. Both my parents don't like us to have tattoos because to them, it's a sin, and it's not cool for us to have it. According to them, our body is sacred and so it is important to not defile our body as it is created in the image of God. As s for me, I personally don't like having tattoos on my skin because I don't feel like having it. I don't think it would match my personality.
4. Never have I ever fainted.
When I was in my 1st year as a college student, I did join Reserve Officer's Training Corps (ROTC). Just to give an information about it, it is a program offered at college that equip students to become reservists in the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). So here's a short story of my experience as part of an Alpha Team.
One time, when we were on our training, I thought it would be okay for me not to eat a lot so what I did is to eat only 2 eggs. Little did I know that at that moment we had to run the oval 5 times. As I was running, I felt dizzy to the point that I want to puke. My heart was racing so fast and I was trying to catch my breath. With that said, I had to tell to my leader about what I felt and good thing he did allow me to rest for awhile perhaps because he observed that I looked pale.
5. Never have I ever drove a car.
You know what guys, I'm an education student majoring automotive technology. Although, I'm an automotive student, however I wasn't able to at least learn how to drive. Actually, we had a subject called Defensive Driving when I was in third year college. We could've had learned driving, but unfortunately we haven't had the chance to because of the COVID-19 threat. The funny thing was, our teacher told us to just download a game driving app on the phone. HAHAHA. That was so hilarious of him.

1. Name three words that best describe Christmas for you.
I describe Christmas with these 3 words: love, thanksgiving, and happiness. I believe these 3 words are the best description of Christmas. Indeed, love should prevail within us whether it's Christmas or not. On one hand, let's be thankful for everything God has given us. Lastly, we should aspire to achieve happiness in life. In life, what matters is not how rich you are but how you live your life happily.
2. If you could travel anywhere for Christmas, where would you go?
If I were given the chance to travel anywhere for Christmas, I would definitely go to the United States. It has always been my dream to go to the US and experience the snow. Hahaha. I'm aware that there a lot of countries who have a winter season, but you know America hits differently to me. I believe, one of the dreams of the people living in a tropical country is to experience a winter season because who wouldn't want to experience playing with the snow?
3. Share one vivid Christmas memory, good or bad.
The saddest Christmas our family have experienced was way back in 2019. We did not expect that our 'Lolo' (grandfather) would die 4 days until Christmas. The reason why he passed away is that he was stumbled and fell his head on the ground. Our youngest sister was the one who informed about us that our grandfather is dead for the reason that we are miles away from them. That was an unforeseen circumstance we never thought would happen. My grandfather has experienced a lot of accidents, but this incident took his life by just a snap.
4. What are the things you are most grateful for this holiday season?
I'm grateful for all the blessings that I will be receiving this Christmas. Actually, whether it's Christmas or not, I am always grateful for all the blessings I have been receiving and will be receiving in my life. On one hand, being part of this amazing community is a blessing that I will forever cherish. I thank Sequoia for letting me know this amazing platform.
5. What holiday movie or special do you watch over and over again?
I guess the holiday movie that I will watch over and over again is the 'Home Alone'. I guess you can all agree with me that this movie is one of the best holiday movies of all time. I just hope that I would be able to watch this movie again soon.

How's the start of your weekend folks? I bet you had seized the day! Well, I can't deny that it's always nice to start the day with a tranquil mind and a huge smile.
Today, I intended to wake up at around 8 in the morning provided that I slept late last night. After having my morning prayer, I was preparing to cook rice when I abruptly realized that I already cooked rice last night. With that said, what I did instead is to wash the dishes. Thus, the next thing I did is to buy a viand in the nearby eatery. Actually, I don't cook for our viand every breakfast. Why would I hustle myself to cook when I can just simply buy a viand right? Lol
Before we ate our breakfast, I checked first my Read.Cash account to see if Rusty was able to visit my blog entries today. Good thing he did and I'm quite relieved. As I was scrolling through my phone, without expecting, my Auntie video called me via Facebook Messenger. So, we had a long conversation to the point that we ended talking on the phone for 2 hours. With that said, my brother and I were not able to eat our breakfast at 8:30. We were able to eat at around 10:40 am today. It was nice having a long conversation with my Auntie to be honest. She is continents away from us; having different time zone and day.

There is no denying that we only have 21 days left before Christmas! Indeed, Christmas is truly in the air. I can feel the spirit of Christmas considering that all I see here in my place is the parade of scintillating Christmas lights on the street, the fascinating lanterns that is hanged in the houses, and of course the gigantic Christmas tree in the malls.
Despite the situation we are currently experiencing today, Christmas will be never out of place as we are accustomed to celebrating it every year. Christmas has become part of our tradition except for those religions who are not celebrating this highlighted occasion of the year.
I believe, we all have different ways to celebrate Christmas. Some would celebrate Christmas together with their families, friends, or even yourself alone. You know what folks, way back in 2018, I experienced not being able to celebrate Christmas together with my family because I had to do a part-time work at that time. I have to be honest, but I was so lonely at that moment. I realized what an OFW would feel every Christmas. You're alone and at the same time lonely. I must say that it's a different level of loneliness.
On the contrary, one of the things that I am looking forward to this Christmas is that I will get to receive gifts and I can't wait to have it, actually. Hahaha. By the way, who here doesn't want to receive gifts? I bet we are craving to receive gifts from our loved ones. When I say gifts, I meant the tangible one.

1. My Aunt
The purpose why she called me this morning is because she was able to know my problem these past few days. If you happened to read one of my previous blog entries, I shared there that my laptop broke, and I'm having a hard time with my modules because of the incident. Having that said, without hesitation, she told me that she will give her laptop to me, and I was like wow! Sana all! She was worried about what happened I guess. I never would've expected that she would actually give her laptop to me like I was really blessed tho. I couldn't contain my happiness. Indeed, she really is the best Auntie I could ever have.
2. My Brother
As I was writing this blog entry, I asked my brother if he would give me a present this Christmas and you know what he said to me was this word, 'assuming.' Ouch! Hahaha. I hope he's just joking. Anyways, I'm confident that she would give me tho because he is a selfless and generous brother (apaka plastic ko hahaha). Kidding aside, he has that qualities I must say. As of now, I don't have an idea what kind of gift he would give me this Christmas, but one thing's for sure is that I will genuinely accept his gift for me. Indeed, he really is the best brother I could ever have.
3. Me myself and I
As I'm staying on this platform for almost 2 months, I was able to earn enough money to buy a present for myself this Christmas. This gift will serve as my reward for not giving up on this platform. I really am so thankful for this platform considering that the money that I will use comes from my own pocket. Actually, I still don't know what to gift for myself. I'm still thinking what's the best gift I should give for myself. I want a gift that I can use not a gift that it's just for display only.

Sorting alone

A rainy evening my hoomans on this platform!
Just a quick chit-chat, I felt worried yesterday for the reason I haven't felt the presence of Rusty. He wasn't able to visit me and I don't know the reason why. I'm starting to think some negative thoughts. Be that as it may, as I asked my friend about it, I got a sigh of relief for she gave me an assurance that Rusty will be back. I thought, maybe Rusty was just having a rest day. Hahaha. On one hand, as I checked my account, I couldn't help but feel happy. Finally! He was able to drop by today. I hope that he would visit me every day.

Anyways, let's head to the main topic of this blog entry.
So yesterday, I chatted my classmate/best friend about going to school to help our cooperating teacher (CT) in sorting of modules. Of course, I asked our CT first about it on the same day when I chatted my best friend. As her response regarding on my message, she told me that there are modules that need to be distinguished based on the subject. Likewise, it would be best if we go to school after lunch, she said. So, I said to her that we will be there at around 1:30 in the afternoon tomorrow if that's okay with her. Good thing she agreed.
Fast Forward | Today
I don't know why but every time we go to see our CT at school, the weather will exhibit an unpleasant mood. It seems like he doesn't want us to meet our teacher. Since the sky is gloomy and is about to cry, my best friend messaged me beforehand that she can't go to school because of the bad weather condition. Besides, the reason why she can't go is because she was having a headache. She's afraid that if she soaks herself in the rain, she might catch a cold and worsen the pain in her head. Considering that she's not feeling well, I understand her tho. With that said, I informed our CT regarding on her condition. Good thing, she completely understood the unforeseen circumstance.
Apparently, I went to school and sort modules all by myself. To be honest, I never expected that I will be dealing with a lot of papers. When I say a lot of papers, I meant a sack of papers (the modules). I started sorting the modules at around 2 pm. Actually, I haven't felt exhausted while doing the task, in fact I felt enjoyed doing it even though it's raining.
I was sorting the modules outside the school (help desk area)because the school is strict in terms of letting someone enter the premise except if you're a teacher in the school. Anyways, I was able to finish sorting at exactly 4:20. So, the last thing that I would do is to transport the modules in the faculty room which is inside the school. I was overwhelmed considering that I was able to have the chance to go inside the premise. The guard has no choice but to let me in. Hahaha. I think I'm the only Pre-Service teacher who happened to enter the school. What a privilege for me tho! Of course, I didn't forget to take pictures inside the school. November goals: Did I achieve or not?

Today marks the 2nd month of my stay here on this platform; Read.Cash. This platform never fails to impress me. To be honest, I can't contain my happiness right now considering that I was able to arrive this far. I never would've imagined myself writing a lot of write-ups at my own will, however as I was able to immerse myself in this skill, I realized that writing is very enjoying. You get to express your thoughts through words. Thus, it feels like you get to share something to the world.
Me being part of this growing community was such a privilege. I never thought that this fine young man will become a writer. I must say that we can become somebody we thought we couldn't be. No words can express how grateful I am to all the people who managed to believe in me; to believe in what I am capable ofdoinfg. Thanks peep for showing your all-out support in this endeavor that I am pursuing at this moment. I wouldn't label myself as a "writer" if it weren't for you guys. You guys brought out the best in me.

Anyways, as for this blog entry, you will discover if I did achieve or not my goals last month. And so, without further ado, let's head straight to the main topic of this blog!
1. To reach 60 subscribers on this platform [achieved or not?]
Despite being busy last month, however I was able to achieve exactly 60 subscribers. Like what I said on my previous article entitled, "Goals to grind for the month of November," I don't need to be too hard on myself. Indeed, I never pressured myself just to aim this number of subscribers. Now look what I've got? I achieved it! Having that said, I'd like to thank those individuals who really made this goal possible. Love you guys!
2. To publish at least 21 articles on this platform [achieved or not?]
Super achieved! I didn't expect that I was able to publish a total of 30 blog entries. I was overwhelmed with myself considering the performance I've shown on this platform. This is only a manifestation that I am so into this platform. To be honest, even though I'm busy with my life as a student, I make sure to write my blog entries during my leisure time. I believe, writing a blog has become my habit now. I hope in the future, i'll still be able to make blog entries for you guys to read. I couldn't deny that I did experience this so-called "writer's block," but you know what, I always find a way to make a blog for the day.
To reach 210 subscribers on Noise.Cash [achieved or not?]
To be honest, I haven't had a hard time achieving this particular goal. For the month of November, I was able to accumulate 235 subscribers. What I like about Noise.Cash is that everytime I post something, people would comment on my post and subscribed to me instantly so that's why it's so easy for me to gain subscribers.

First, I just want to say sorry for being inactive yesterday because I had to deal with my modules the whole day. Yes, the whole day. I went to my best friends house just to answer my modules there provided that she has a laptop that I could use. Like what I've said on my previous blog entry, I have to triple my efforts for the reason that the submission deadline will be on December 15, 2021.

Anyways, for this blog entry, this will be a personal one considering that I am going to share with all of you my odd random facts. With that said, let's go directly to the main topic of this blog. Enjoy reading!
1. I rub my hands whenever I'm having a hard time sleeping.
Since I was young and up until I became a grown up man, I can't help myself but do this habit of rubbing my hands whenever I'm having trouble sleeping. I can't deny the fact that I'm accustomed to doing this. Whenever I do this, I feel the atmosphere of relaxation. Just by rubbing my hands in a gradual motion, all I want is to close my eyes as I feel the tickling sensation it offers. ***How about you? What habits do you do when you are having a hard time sleeping?***
2. I get goosebumps when I hear the clang of cutleries.
Have you ever experienced being teased by your friends or siblings by the things you've always disliked? Well, I used to experienced it now and then. Since my brother already knew what makes me annoy, he would clang purposely the spoon and fork right in front of me. Good thing I know how to annoy him as well. Hahaha. ***How about you? What makes you get goosebumps?***
3. I have a huge varicose on my foot.
Aside from scars, having varicose has been my problem for years. It' unfortunate of me to have this intestine-like veins. Having that said, I feel insecure about it. So, every time I go outside, I always wear pants. I know it's not a big of a deal but having it on my foot makes me worry because it expands over time. I started having this one back when I was in Grade 9 if my memory serves me right. During those years, I did not mind this issue not until it became worse. ***How about you? What certain insecurity that you have on your body?***
4. I don't like to touch oily and sticky substance.
When I say oily and sticky substance, I meant lotion, creams, and liniment oils. I don't know if I'm the only person who, as much as possible doesn't want to touch things like that. Whenever I do, I immediately wash my hands with soap. ***How about you? What are the things that disgust you to touch?***

Starting from scratch

How's your day going folks? Well, I would have to say that despite the reality that I have completely lost my files on my laptop including my Field Study 1 module answers, I tried my best to answer it again. Although I'm quite demotivated right now, however I have no choice but to move forward and accept the fate I was destined to encounter. The submission of deadline is just around the corner. Having that said, I have to triple my efforts. I have to push myself beyond limits. I have to get ahead of the deadline. Even if there's a minute of chance, still I want to believe in myself that I can overcome the challenges that I am facing right now.

Yesterday, I talked to my classmate/best friend that I will go to her place provided that I want to start answering my modules again, and I need to use her laptop. She's done answering half of her modules in Field Study 1, so I guess she would allow me to use her laptop so that I could type my answers. Yes, I have to put my essay answers first on a sheet of paper so that the only thing that I should do is to type my answers using Microsoft Word. I've learned my lesson.
However, she told me that she was not in her place because she was at the beach which is miles away. She was with her church mates; having the best time together with them. And so, she told me that she will be available on Wednesday (which is tomorrow).
With that said, I have no choice and so what I did today is to answer my module 1. I believe I was able to answer my module having a percentage of 90%. I'm quite happy provided that I was able to manage my time wisely. Likewise, I started at 8 and ended at 10:30 am. Honestly, I felt drained after combatting with my module. So, I rest for a while. I closed my eyes for like 15 minutes while listening to the songs I saved on Spotify. Anyway, after my brother was done with his work at 9:30, he decided to sleep.
Fast Forward
I continue doing my academic task at around 1 pm, but this time I'm not answering my module. I did work on making my lesson plan. Likewise, I have to finish making it provided that this school semester, we are necessitated to have a demonstration teaching using our self-made lesson plan. Since I'm this type of student who is meticulous, I almost spent 3 hours crafting my lesson plan. I have to make my lesson plan more engaging. I believe, doing a lesson should be crafted meticulously.
On the other hand, I decided to stop doing my academic tasks because my brother had woken up, and he was hungry. So, I prepared for his lunch. That's when he decided to continue the series that we watched yesterday entitled, ***"The woman in Septic Tank."*** By the way, I was able to watch the series provided that it's available on Netflix. I would have to say that this series is way too ludicrous. There is no denying that Eugene Domingo (the main role of the series) is one of the most funny actresses in the Philippines. She has done a few comedy films that will surely make you laugh to your heart's content.

Indeed, I'm starting from scratch again. I was being challenged. This unpleasant experience I have right now serves as my motivation to strive harder; to make me more efficient in managing my time. The damage has been done so all I have to do is to accept and move forward like nothing terrible happened. I have to stay focus and find a spark hope amid the challenges I've experienced today.

Having the worst day

Hey dear readers on this platform!
As you happened to read my previous blog entry, I shared their that I'm in huge trouble because my laptop is not functioning. I'm worried and at the same time frustrated for the reason that I do have a lot of significant files in my laptop that I can't lose.
Having that said, today, I decided to go to my classmate's colleague because in he recommended me yesterday that his friend knows how to fix my problem.
I went to his friends place; did commute for 30 minutes. We did chat via Facebook Messenger. After giving my laptop to his friend, I went straight home. Of course, I had to commute again. That was around 10 in the morning. After heading back home, since my laptop is not functioning, I did make my lesson plan in a single sheet of bond paper. To be honest I'm having a hard time doing my lesson plan for the reason that my mind is distracted. I couldn't help but to think, what if my files will not be retrieved? What will I do? Despite the negative thoughts in my head, I still did make my lesson plan.
Crafting a lesson plan is not a no-brainer task as it involves your cognitive effort because you are thinking what the best strategy to implement in order to boost the students' participation in class. On the contrary, my brother wanted me to set aside what I'm doing provided that he wanted me to watch the new released series entitled, "Ang babae sa Septic Tank 3 (The woman in the septic tank 3)" together with him. So we watched at least 4 episodes of the series. I couldn't deny the fact that the series is way too hilarious to the point that I laughed to my heart's content. It's like at that time, I never minded my problem. I did forget to the feeling of euphoria. I never realized the consequence of my action. As you may know, I'm scared to be happy because whenever I do feel this feeling, there's always a negative consequence.
As I did open my phone, I was confronted with the message of my classmate's friend. She said that she couldn't fix the problem. She told me that the hard disk should be removed so that my files could be saved. Likewise, she told me that she couldn't dare to disassemble my laptop just to get the hard disk. The only way is to go to a repair, she said. And so, I had to go to her place. Of course, I had to commute again and vice versa.
I decided to go to the mall to go see a technician. As I roamed around the establishment, good thing I was able to find a technician. He's way too approachable and kind, so I haven't felt any awkward situations talking to him. Besides, it is a must for me to talk to him. So, what he did is to remove the hard disk. It took him almost 5 minutes to remove the hard disk. He told me once my hard disk will fail to be detected by the computer, that means that there's a problem with my hard disk and I have no choice but to accept the reality that my files will not be backed up.
Be that as it may, I was thankful because the hard disk is okay; it's functioning. Nonetheless, that sudden happiness was turned into frustration for the reason that the files that I badly want to be saved cannot be recovered. My files in Field Study was corrupted; it's empty. I couldn't help myself but feel sad about what happened. I don't know what to do. I still can't accept the fact that of all the files I have in my in laptop, why my FS modules? I've worked so hard just to answer those essay type of questions. I feel so down right now.
If only I could turn back the time, I would definitely save my works on Google Drive, but it's too late; I'm way too late and complacent. There's no one to be blamed but me. I'm such a lo*er. As I'm writing this blog entry I don't if I will stop writing here and just prioritize first my academics. One thing's for sure, I will start all over again. I don't know if I will be able to comply my requirements considering that December 15 will be the submission deadline.
I think I'll end my blog entry here. Without a doubt, I'm having the worst day right now.

To be honest, I was not in the mood to write a blog today not because I'm busy, nor mister sun hadn't appeared today, but because I'm not in my good state of mind. As I am writing this blog entry my mind is everywhere; my mind is preoccupied. Sadly, I wasn't able to answer my academic tasks today, be that as it may, instead of not doing anything and be unproductive, I thought, why not share what I feel today. I would have to say that I'm in huge trouble, and it all started yesterday.

Yesterday, as I was working on my blog entry, I never expected that my laptop would go insane. I thought it's just a normal lag because I was accustomed to experiencing such situation, however what I've experienced yesterday was way too critical. You know what guys, I've been using my laptop even though the screen of it is color pink. I already accepted that tho provided that I do not have enough money to repair for the LCD. However, I never anticipated that my laptop would surrender just like that. Was I too complacent? I did everything but it didn't work out. And so, I tried to rest my laptop hoping that tomorrow (which is today), it will work. I assumed so much but unfortunately there was no sign of improvement. I was totally disappointed with what happened.
Likewise, I felt worried and upset considering that I have a lot of important things in my laptop that I cannot afford to lose. To me, they are like holy grail; significant.
Anyways, these are the crucial things in my laptop.
My Photos
All the photos I have on my phone when I was in 1st year college up until today, I used to put it on my laptop because I had to free up some storage space on my phone. Thus, I didn't think that this unfortunate incident would happen to me. Without a doubt, all the good memories I have are in my laptop. With that said, there's no way I would let go of my memories because it's like you are letting go of the opportunities right before you with just a blink of an eye.
My academic files
My brother bought me a laptop when I was in 2nd year College. He bought it provided that I told him that I needed to have a one because of our thesis. We started our thesis journey in when I was in 2nd year College particularly on the second semester. My laptop was second-hand and was purchased in Facebook market. I still can remember the day when he bought my laptop. That was on the 14th day of May 2020. I can't deny the fact that my laptop has a sentimental value for me. Of course, I'm grateful for my brother for granting my request. Since one of the purposes why do I have a laptop is because of my education. I was able to save all the important documents in my laptop including my modules in Field Study 1. I just hope that there's still a way to save all my essential files.

What I've learned is that it is imperative to back up your files. As much as possible, it is important to secure it to your Google Drive, USB flash drive, and other storage mediums. Never be complacent of your stuff. Always have in mind the possible worst scenarios so that you are prepared enough to handle it with confidence. Perhaps tomorrow, I will go to a repair shop to know what's the issue of my laptop so that I may know as well if there's a way to back up all my essential files. Due to this circumstance, my condition as a graduating student will be at risk. I pray that everything will be okay and that may the odds will be in my favor this time.
