How's the weather in your end peeps? Well, if you asked me how's the weather here in my end, I would have to say that it is not fine. The sky is gloomy and sad. Actually, the weather has been terrible for a couple of days already. I haven't check the news for a while now so i don't know if there's a typhoon in our area. To be honest, I'm not loving the vibe this kind of weather gives me as it enables me to think what if I will not carry out for now the tasks that I have for today?
Certainly, some people love when it's raining but to me, I dislike when it's raining. Whenever it's raining, I can't help myself but to remember all the not so wonderful memories I have in the past. As much as possible, I don't want to drown myself with negativity. I don't want to feel an atmosphere of desolation. I don't want to have senti moments. I just hope that Mister Sun will appear tomorrow because I miss him so bad.

Anyways, as for this blog entry, I would like to take this opportunity to share this free-verse poem that I wrote yesterday.

***Looking at the dull gray sky***
***Watching the droplets***
***Falling down in the abyss of uncertainty***
***Chasing every memory, slowly fading***
***Yet still striving even the smallest***
***possibility of igniting it.***
***Bringing back those days***
***Wishing it was just a never-ending dream;***
***A fantasy I wish I could live in***
***But then it became a nightmare***
***Wanting to escape the bitter-sweet reality***
***Crying, thinking about, was all that I did***
***You're constantly changing to the point that you disregard our relationship***
***Countless thoughts clashed with just a snap***
***Dunno what to do but to continue the journey I wish I didn't have.***
***But then realization has come into my selfless mind,***
***Saying, everything is just a "travail"***
***And that forgiveness is the only thing that should prevail***

By the way, please forgive me guys for not being able to read your blog entries today for the reason that I was so busy with my academic endeavors. Be that as it may, rest assured that I will make up to my inactivity.
On the contrary, I just want to share with you all that today marks the 2nd day and the last day of the convention and webinar-workshop on teaching and learning. No words can fully express how grateful I am for the opportunity of becoming one of the participants of the said event. Thus, I'm so privileged considering that I got to become a member of this association called Philippine Association of Pre-Service Teachers, Inc. (PAPSET).
Truly, I was able to gain another remarkable experience that I will forever cherish. There is no doubt that I was able to learn something from the speakers and the panels of the event as they discuss some valuable and relevant information that I can use in my future endeavors. Having that said, I feel motivated to improve myself even more. ***There is no denying that teachers are considered catalysts of change.***

TGIF: Update for today

Thank God it's Friday! Indeed, there's no doubt that I like when it's Friday considering that this particular day concludes the weekdays, and I am saying hello to the weekends. 🎉 By the way, if you mind me asking, how are you today? Anyways, if you asked me, I was busy today for I had to attend a national convention and webinar-workshop regarding on teaching and learning. I had to wake up early for this. Since, my brother was on his last rest day, I let him sleep for long. He deserved an enough sleep. So, I did prepare our breakfast, manage to take a bath, buy a breakfast viand in a nearby eatery.
When everything's settled, I entered the meeting room. By the way, the event was spearheaded by **Philippine Association of Pre-Service Teachers, Inc. (PAPSET).** In addition, it's a two-day workshop and apparently today is the first day. To be honest, although the workshop is virtually held (via Zoom meeting) and thus requires money to join the aforesaid event, nonetheless, I couldn't help myself but be amazed by the total participants. It was quite overwhelming for me to know that we are almost 800 participants coming from the different parts of the Philippines.
This event was supposed to be held in Baguio if face-to-face is allowed, but because of our status quo, it was shifted into virtual setting. I'm glad considering that there's no need to fly to Baguio City in order to attend the convention and seminar workshop. Big thanks to this so-called "technology advancement." On one hand, the highlight of this event is focused on the learning modalities employed in the context of Online Teaching-learning.
Thoughts in mind 🤔
We cannot deny the fact that the education sector is one of the sectors that has been affected by this pandemic crisis. Certainly, It affects how the way teachers deliver their instruction, and how the students acquire learning. The learning of the students have been compromised for more than a year. The teachers on the other hand, have no choice but to adapt in this new-normal way of teaching-learning.
You know what guys, I had a funny experience today. While attending the seminar in the afternoon, I was at the mall provided that my brother wants to go to the mall since it's his last rest day. He wanted me to accompany him. With that said, I had no choice but go with him. So, as we were going to the clothes store buying his shirt, I had to do multitasking. I'm listening to the discussion while finding some clothes for my brother.
We roamed the mall from first floor to third floor and vice versa. After exhausting ourselves walking in a vast shopping center, finally my brother realized that we need to go home. It's quarter to 4 in the afternoon when we arrived at our place but still the webinar-workshop is still ongoing. Anyways, my brother bought 6 boxer briefs, 1 t-shirt, 2 sling bags, and 1 pillow case.

The Good Old Days

Warm greetings my terrific readers here on this platform!
Just a quick story, if you happened to read my previous blog entry, entitled, "A Day with mom," I shared in that particular blog entry that she needed to go to Manila provided that her brother passed away. With that said, she was away from us for a week. Be that as it may, gladly, she had returned home safely yesterday. I'm grateful to the Almighty for guiding and protecting my mother until the day she comes back home.
Anyway, for this blog entry, my topic was supposed to be about sharing what made me busy today. However, I realized after knowing what day today, I decided why not create a blog about my throwback photos; sharing some of the best memories that I will forever cling to and cherish. Having that said, without further ado, let me get straight to the point of this blog.

We can’t deny the fact that whenever we see our old photos, we can’t help ourselves but reminisce the memories we had in the past. We can still feel the emotion we had before just by looking at the photographs. Indeed, photographs enable us to connect with our previous life. In fact, it has played an integral part of our lives. It has impacted us in a way that when we see ourselves in a particular photo where we see ourselves genuinely happy, we tend to say at the back of our minds or even verbally, “How I wish I’m still this kind of person,” or “If I could just turn back time, I will go to this moment.” Certainly, the throwback photos we have somehow remind us of the significant happenings we had back then. Apart from that, it reminds us of the people and the places.
I was in sixth grade when this picture was taken. To tell you guys the truth, I was once an athlete way back when I was in elementary. I can’t deny that I was really an active pupil in my younger years. I was able to join several competitions in our school. I was able to compete in a singing contest, dance contest, drawing contest, science quiz bee, and the like. However, but the thing is, that was before. Anyways, going back, I was a table tennis athlete [char]. That photo was the day when we compete as a table tennis player. The picture on the left was my childhood best friend (we’re still best friends up until today). By the way, the location of the competition was held in another school in our town. Actually, my best friend and I was holding the banner of our school in that picture but I decided to crop it for privacy purposes. To cut the long story short, we won second place for the double and single player. Yay!
As for the next photo, this photo was taken in 2017. Actually, I was already in the 12th grade at that time. In our school we had this so-called “Acquaintance Party.” There is no doubt that I felt nothing but genuine happiness in this photo for the reason that I was able to make new acquaintances. Likewise, I was able to spend time with my friends. I considered this day as one of the most remarkable events of my life where all we had to do is to enjoy the rest of the day.
Last but not the least, this photo was captured in 2020 by my college close friend before the COVID-19 issue began to appear on the surface. Actually, I was second year college at that point of time. We did take the opportunity to go to the rooftop at the engineering building for the reason that I want to witness the sun gradually sinking in the west. I couldn’t help myself but be fascinated by the view. The buildings and the sky were indeed too lovely not to appreciate. Fortunately, I was able to capture this moment; thanks to my best friend.

Becoming a role-model

How’s your Wednesday folks? Anyways, I’m hoping that you guys were able to carry out successfully your task today. I believe that it is a must for us to always be productive. Thus, it is vital that we should not waste our time doing nonsensical things. On one hand, as much as possible, we should write out are plan activities for the day so that we may utilize our time efficiently.
On the contrary, as I was answering my modules, I was confronted with this question, ***“How are you going to motivate your learners in class?”*** I began to ask myself; how should I respond to this question considering that I am going to become an educator in the future? To tell you honestly, I find this question a bit difficult to answer, however I’ll give it a try.
Apparently, this blog entry is going to be an educational one. And so, without further ado, let's go directly to the main subject of this blog.

**Question:**
**Describe how you are going to motivate learners in your class.**
As an educator, it is my responsibility to motivate my students to learn. Having that said, I have to make ways on how to fulfill it. I believe there are a lot of ways to motivate them and these are some of the following: 1) integrating technology in the class, 2) having a proper classroom management, and 3) being inspirational to them.
***Integrating technology in the class***
We cannot deny the fact that we are currently living in an era where technology is being integrated in all aspects of life. In fact, technology has been considered a necessity considering that it serves as a medium that enables people to live comfortably. Indeed, we are all living in a whole new digital world.
Putting the scope in the educational aspect, there’s no denying that technology has likewise been integrated in the curriculum. With that said, teachers are continuously coping up with the advancement; learning how to be digitally literate just to deliver the instruction in a more revolutionized yet effective way.
Technology integration can motivate students in a way that it makes them more excited to learn. Thus, they will become more engaged in the teaching-learning processes. Lastly, they become more focused and creative at the same time. Therefore, as teachers, we should try to be more updated. We should detach from the traditional way of delivering instruction.
***Having Proper Classroom Management***
Classroom Management plays an integral part in the learning environment. And so, having a proper classroom management allow teachers to have a hold of their class; how to organize and implement things in class including how to properly handle students’ behavior towards learning. Certainly, having a proper classroom management can greatly affect students’ academic success. When we say academic success, motivation is undeniably involved. As teachers, we should indeed aim to have a good classroom management.
***Being Inspirational to students***
Teachers are considered role models of the society. With that said, it is crucial that you have to be a good example to your students. You show to them that you are a well-respected person. As a teacher, you have to show to your students that you are worthy to be emulated and that you are somebody who can become an inspiration to them. Indeed, it is imperative that you radiate positivity towards learning so that your students will be motivated to learn and do well in class. Teachers should always aspire to become the best teachers they could ever be.

There is no doubt that I am one step closer to my dream of becoming an educator. Considering the status quo of the educational system in the Philippines, I don’t know If I’m competent enough to become one. Besides, my confidence is level is low. In spite of that, I will strive to be the best role-model to my future students. And so, I have to be at my best version. My future students needs a teacher that will inspire them to learn genuinely.

Annyeong [Hi] my phenomenal readers!
How’s the weather in your place? If you asked me, the weather in my end is partly cloudy. I just hope that it won’t rain tonight because I don’t like when it’s raining perhaps because I dislike how dirty and muddy our place would look. Likewise, I’m worried that the signal would drop. So, in a nutshell, I dislike rainy season.

And so, I’m going to take on a challenge. It's called, "***expose yourself challenge***." Anyway, let’s start!
1. Current lock screen wallpaper
This photo was taken last September 2020. Since there’s no face-to-face class, I was able to grow my hair this long. Included in the photo is our dog and his name is “Burgy.” I guess he’s a mix breed dog. The problem is that I don’t have any idea as to what is the breed of our dog. Lol.
2. Current Home Screen wallpaper
As for my home screen wallpaper, I guess most of you here knows this logo. It’s Captain America’s shield (logo). As I shared on one of my previous blog entries, he’s my bias superhero. He’s one of the best Avengers I must say. He really is a great leader. There is no denying, he’s one of the most intelligent Avengers.
3. Last song listened to
I’m very fortunate of my brother for the reason that he gave me a Spotify account so that I don’t need to download songs on a third-party site. He told me that when I visit a third-party site, there’s a possibility that my phone can get viruses. I must say that my brother is the best. Anyways, the last song that I listened to is one of the best songs of New Empire—A Little Braver. I discover the song when I happened to watch a Korean drama entitled, “Uncontrollably Fond.” I like the message of the song. When life hits you so hard, the more you get even braver.
4. Last video watched
Since I used to watch videos on Youtube, I will use this platform for this *expose yourself challenge*. The last video that I watched was the current vlog of my favorite Filipino vlogger Alex Gonzaga-Morada. 5. 21th picture in your gallery
This photo was taken last September 15, 2021. That was after we attended our Field Study orientation. I went to my college best friend’s house so we could attend the orientation together (virtual). Since they live nearby the beach, I asked my best friend to go to the beach so that we could take pictures. So, this is one of the best shots. Good thing my 21th picture looks fine. HAHAHA.
6. Most useless app on your phone
I would have to say that the most useless app on my phone is my screen recorder provided that I did not use it for quite some time. Thanks to this challenge because I get to determine what are the apps that I should uninstall.

New memories to cherish

What’s up my favorite hoomans!
I consider this day as a special day considering that for almost 3 years of not seeing her in flesh, finally I got to meet one of my best friends in Senior High School. Indeed, time flies so fast to the extent that we are now graduating students. Actually, we are a squad of best friends. To be honest, I am supposed to meet not only one but four best friends.
Prior to this day, last Saturday, I initiated to chat them via Facebook Messenger if we could meet on Monday which is today. However, 3 of my best friends are quite busy of their academics and other priorities. As much as they want to meet us so that we could reunite once more, however they can’t help themselves but decline to what I said. Of course, I have no hard feelings towards them considering that I understand them and that they have reasonable excuses.
Good thing, my best friend Louise (pseudonym) is up to hang out with me, although she said to me that she’s going to bring her girlfriend. Yes, you read it right! She has a girlfriend. She wanted to introduce her girlfriend to me at the same time. I thought to myself, what if I feel out of place? I will become their third wheel. Be that as it may, she assured me that I will not become their third wheel. With that said, I said to her that we will hang out together on Monday.

FAST FORWARD | MONDAY | TODAY
I left the house at around 12:40 in the afternoon because we both decided to meet at 1:00 pm. Our meeting place is in our Alma Mater School—a catholic school in particular. As I entered the academe, I suddenly reminisce the good memories I had in the said place. I was amazed by how our school have drastically metamorphosed. The reason for that extreme change is that in 2019, our school was one of the schools that was ruined by a strong earthquake. It is sad to accept that a lot has changed. We can never go to our gathering spot [deep sigh].
Going back, at long last, I got to see Louise in the flesh. Thus, I finally met her girlfriend. She’s quite a quiet girl. I was caught by surprise for the reason that we wore black clothes. I guess, we have this so-called, ***“best friend telepathy.”*** [char] As much as we wanted to hug each other, but we couldn’t do it’s not because of her girlfriend, but because of the status quo of the world. Although, we both are fully vaccinated, still we were able to observe safety protocols.
We headed ourselves to the lounge so that we could comfortably talk with each other. What we had talked about was mainly our memories in SHS. I have to admit the fact that we had a lot of good memories together in SHS. Of course, we did not forget to say “kumusta ka? Kumusta ang buhay mo? ” [how are you? How’s life?]. Just by saying these words, we were able to express our care and concern for each other.
On one hand, we managed to finish conversing at around 2:30 in the afternoon. After that, we roamed around the campus for like 30 minutes since we likewise took pictures together. Actually, her girlfriend was our photographer. Lol. She was able to take pictures of us in a way that is so nice. She really knows how to take pictures tho. Good thing she is not a killjoy.
On the other hand, the next thing we did is we searched an available room provided that Louise wants to cut a rug. So, she used the TikTok app. She is a good dancer, but I’ve got two left feet. HAHAHA. Anyways, If I’m not mistaken, we consumed 30 minutes dancing on TikTok.
We were able to leave the vicinity at around 3:30. We decided to go to a nearby restaurant. We ate a super affordable and delicious food for only $2. After eating, one of my colleagues invited us to go to their house just to eat their home-made ice cream for free (my friend’s family business) while singing karaoke. We bid our goodbyes but with the assurance that we will meet again at the right time.

Exposing my fears

As I was dealing with my modules, I suddenly think of this word—**FEAR**. And so, I decided why not make this word a topic for my blog entry today.

What is fear?
We cannot deny the fact that we all have fears and that’s valid because we are human beings; able to feel distinct emotions. Be that as it may, if we let ourselves be taken over by fear, surely it affects our mental and emotional condition. Moreover, fear will hamper you from being happy.
I have a fear of losing my loved ones
I believe we have a fear of losing our loved ones most especially our parents. As you may recall on my previous blog entry, I shared that my uncle passed away just recently due to heart attack. I feel sorry for my cousins. Indeed, life never fails to overwhelm us. We are so clueless of what will happen 5 years or 10 years from now. I always pray to the Almighty that may He grant my parents more years to stay in this world. My siblings and I desire to see my parents living a life where money will never be anymore a problem. We want them to experience going to places or countries that they’ve always wanted to go. We want my parents to achieve self-actualization.
I have a fear of public speaking
This has always been my insecurity. I pity myself for not being able to achieve this skill up until now. I have a low self-esteem when it comes to speaking in front of other people especially if they are someone who are sophisticated. I don't know if it's only me who can experience this feeling of being able to speak fluently in mind, but when speaking in front of a lot of people, I can't help but stutter. Honestly, I envy those schoolmates of mine for possessing great confidence. I just hope I get to develop this skill sooner.
I have a fear of snakes
I think most of us if not all, are scared of this creature. That’s why I don’t want to step my feet on the tall grass for the reason that I always think that there’s a snake in the grass. Apart from that, I don’t want to indulge myself to hiking because I get easily paranoid thinking about what if we happen to encounter cobras? Who will rescue if I get bitten? With that said, why would I risk my life for a perilous adventure.
I have a fear of geckos
If one of my friends will set a prank on me with this animal, nah, I will not be going to forgive him/her. I just can’t stand the sight of this creature. Every time I see geckos, I get to have goosebumps. To all gecko lovers here, please forgive me, but I don’t like the face of this species. It scares the crap out of me. There’s no way I will love this animal. Over my dead body!
I have a fear of being happy
I don’t know why but every time I feel euphoric, something bad happens. To my curiosity, I searched this on Google and found out that there’s a phobia of being happy, and it is called, “Cherophobia.” Having that said, to be honest, I avoid myself being extremely happy because I always think that there’s a corresponding negative consequence, and it’s legit to me. Anyways, nothing special happened today. As usual, I did work on my Field Study 1 modules. As a result, I couldn’t think of a personal topic to write about. Good thing, I happened to come across two weeks ago one of the interesting blog entries of @Athaliah entitled, ***“This or That Questions.”*** Since this type of question enables my mind to function, I’ll try to answer all the questions I personally picked.

Let’s get started!
1. Facebook or Twitter?
Honestly, I have an account of these two social networking sites, however, If I were to choose between the two, I would rather choose Facebook. I’ve been a user on this platform for almost 10 years. This platform has become my source of entertainment. This platform never fails to amaze me. In addition, I like Facebook over Twitter, provided that on Twitter I can’t relate to the people there and the platform is kind of boring to me. After all, we all have different preferences.
2. Book or e-book?
I don’t know why, but I like the smell of books may it be old or new. It’s kind of addictive. So, I’ll choose book than e-book. Actually, I started to read books at my own will when the lock-down happened.
3. Working alone or in a group?
To tell you straightforwardly, I desire to work alone because as much as possible, I don’t want to have a conflict with someone (classmate) just because we have different thoughts. Working alone enables me to manage the things that I want to realize. Likewise, I can say that I’m an independent learner.
4. Coffee or tea?
Without a second thought, it’s coffee for me. Truth be told, I drink coffee thrice a day. It’s like I’m addicted to coffee. I believe no one can defeat coffee.

This question is way too broad, but I’ll choose hot because I can’t resist drinking hot water. Lol
6. Dogs or cats?
I like dogs not because they are considered man’s best friend, but I just like how they are so loyal and adorable. I like dogs provided that I can seem to determine their emotions but with cats, nah I’m afraid of cats. It’s like their emotions are unpredictable.
7. Singing or dancing?
I know how to sing and dance, but I prefer singing rather than dancing for the reason that feel more confident when singing than dancing. If you asked me, I used to join singing contest before when I was young. Singing has always been my favorite talent. Besides, I’m a choir member in our university. One of the best moments I have as a choir member is when we got the chance to serenade cancer patients in the hospital. It was an honor for me tho.
8. Captain America or Iron Man?
Captain America is my bias superhero. I admire how selfless he is. He is not afraid to sacrifice his life just to protect the people from danger. He has gone through in life before he becomes a hero.
9. New York City or Los Angeles?
I would love to go to New York. I want to visit some of the world’s finest museums and art galleries. Not only that, but I want as well to watch theatrical plays. I want to explore the so-called 'city that never sleeps.'
10. A hug or a kiss?
I prefer a hug. When someone hugs us, we can’t deny the fact that it gives us solace. It makes us feel warm and loved.
11. College or High School?
It’s high school for me considering that I only have few good memories in college. Besides, COVID-19 took away my college life. I would have to say that my college life is worst.
12. Family or Friends?
Family is the main source of my strength. Family is my everything. Indeed, friends can also be considered a family but because I have to choose between the two, it would be my biological family. 😁
13. Mountain area or beach area?
I would love to wake up in the morning seeing the view of the beach. So, I would choose beach area. I don’t like the mountain area because I’m afraid of snakes, and I’m afraid that I will encounter people like in the Wrong Turn movies. Lol.
14. Infinite free time or money?
I will choose the latter. Even though money can only buy temporary happiness, I would love to accept it because with money you can provide the needs and wants of your family. With money, you can experience all the enjoying things in life. We don’t know when are we going to be leaving in this world for good. With that said, it is crucial to do the things you desire to experience. Indeed, we should live life to the fullest.

Just this afternoon, my brother left our town to travel back to another city where we currently reside provided that he has a work later at 12:30 am. He said to me that he can't afford to absent because he wanted to better his attendance at work. He left at around 2 in the afternoon.
I'm actually busy today for the reason that I had to deal with my Field Study 1 modules. And so, after doing some household chores, what I did is to combat with my academic tasks. Unfortunately, I only read a few articles. Soon, when I have my spare time, I promised to interact with you all and be active here like I always do.
To be honest, I don't have any interesting topics in mind as I felt extremely exhausted answering those essay type of questions. Actually, I started answering at around 9 in the morning and ended at 4:30 in the afternoon. Despite the long hours of combatting my modules, unfortunately I can't finish it for the reason that there are tasks like for instance, creating lesson plans that I can't manage to craft because my cooperating teacher won't cooperate. Hahaha. I'm just kidding. I did tell her about the tasks but because she's busy, I don't have a choice but to wait. I understand her situation tho. 🙂
On one hand, as I was dealing with my academic endeavors, I happened to come across this particular task where I have to list down 6 characteristics of parents who motivates and nurtures their child to learn. Owing to that task, I was able to gain an idea as to what to write for my blog entry today.
Having that said, for this blog entry, allow me to share to you my 6 characteristics of ideal parents. And so, without further ado, let's go directly to the main topic of this blog entry! May you enjoy reading!
Understanding Parents
As parents, it is crucial to understand your children in order for you to build connections to them. Being an understanding parent means, you need to put your trust to them. Possessing this characteristic will surely make you close to your child. As a result, there will be no conflicts to arise.
Supportive Parents
As parents, it is essential that you know your children's interests, talents, and the like so that you will encourage them to hone their abilities even more. By being supportive, you get to allow your child maximize his/her potentials You become a way for them to be successful in life. With that being said, do not be a barrier to them, but instead be an avenue that will lead them to achieve success.
Hands-On Parents
Being a hands-on parent means a lot to your children provided that they see and appreciate how you invest your time, energy, and effort just to be with them all the time. Having that said, it is imperative that they must feel your love and presence.
Loving Parents
Of course, as parents, you need to always feel to your children that they are loved. Children need to feel your care, concern, comfort, and affection. Children should not feel being rejected by their parents as it gives them a way to lose their connection to them.
Responsible Parents
As parents, your children considered you as their role models. When they see that you are manifesting the act of being irresponsible, for sure they will likely to emulate your conduct. With that being said, it is necessary to be a responsible parent for in that way, you get to impact your children positively.
Authoritative Parents
As parents, it is important to control our child but in a good way. There's no denying that some parents, they tend to control their child in a way that it's toxic. Moreover, authoritative parents are parents who are warm, tender, and compassionate. Thus, authoritative parents are extremely sensitive. Likewise, they tend to listen and converse with their children nicely.

Spending time with my siblings

Warm greetings my ever-supportive, handsome, and beautiful creatures on this platform!
Yesterday, my brother decided to travel back home. He arrived at around 7 in the evening considering that he has to take a nap first. The reason why he has gone home is that it's his rest day on Thursday and Friday. Thus, he wanted to see us of course, although mom was far away from us. My youngest sister was so glad provided that we were able to reunite again. Of course, I can't contain my happiness as well.
To be honest, I sometimes remember our childhood years when we were not apart and that all we do is playing, talking, laughing, and sleeping together. With that being said, I'm beyond grateful for my parents because they were able to raise us in a way that we are so close to each other. They were able to raise the three of us decently. Even though we're already adults, we can still express our affection to one another directly. As a middle child, it feels great to have a "***Kuya***" (the eldest brother) and a "***Manghud***" (the youngest sibling). Without a doubt, I considered them my treasures. They are like diamonds; rare to find and worth-keeping.
On the contrary, just this morning, I didn't expect myself to be a barber. I don't know what has gotten into my brother's mind that he wants to cut his hair so suddenly. Actually, I'm not the only person who has become a barber, but also my youngest sister. HAHAHA. So, I acted as a main barber and my sister is the supporting barber. We managed to finish cutting his hair for almost 30 minutes.
Afternoon
Supposed to be, it's only me and my youngest sister who will go to the mall. However, since my brother is with us, we both decided why not the three of us go just to have some quality time together. Honestly, it's been for ages since the last time we go together to the mall. At first, my brother doesn't want to go with us but because we cut his hair, we used that card to persuade him. Lol. Good thing he said yes!
Having that said, we prepared ourselves. Indeed, we look so good on our outfits. Char!
We arrived at the mall at around 3 in the afternoon. Since my father told us to buy him a slipper, I did buy what he requested. Be that as it may, I likewise purchased 3 pairs of black socks worth PHP 50 ($1). As for my sister, she bought two pairs of doll shoes; one for her and one for mom. By the way, there are a lot of people inside the mall. Thus, I see a lot of children roaming around running inside the department store. There are parents who seemed to not mind their children removing their face masks as if there's no pandemic. But you know what, seeing the children feeling euphoric, I can help myself but also be ecstatic. I just hope and pray that we can go back to our normal way of living; living without fear of catching a virus.
On one hand, for almsot 30 minutes of waiting in the counter area, finally we were able to pay what we purchased. After that, we were able to go to other well-known clothes stores doing window shopping. Lol. On the other hand, as we satisfied our eyes with various stuffs in the mall, we managed to take a few shots as a souvenir of our bonding moments.
The next thing we did is to buy a shawarma. We only bought the regular shawarma with a price of PHP 65. As a their photographer, I did try my best to take a picture holding our food together.
Afterwards, we headed outside the vicinity because we have to likewise go to the cemetery to visit our grandfather. As you may recall my previous blog entry entitled "***A thought and a dream,***" my grandfather visited me in my dream. Since my brother are here in our hometown, we can visit our "***Lolo***" (grandfather).
Closing Thoughts 💡
We arrived at home at 5:30 in the afternoon. I believe we were able to utilized our time purposefully. Indeed, my day was special considering that I got to be with my siblings. I do not know as to when are we going to have bonding moments together. With that said, it is important that you have to ***cherish every single moment together with your loved ones***. Make the most of the time creating wonderful memories with them. My siblings are the most precious thing I have received from God, and I am thankful for the opportunity of having them in my life.

Hey what's up my lovely readers on *Read.Cash*!
Gladly this morning, I was able to read at least 20 blog entries. It has been a while since the last time I've interacted with you here due to some matters that I need to carry out. I just hope by evening, I will have the time to read atleast 15 blog entries. Apart from that, I was able to touch my modules. Part of my Field Study module is to forge an intervention plan. Since my cooperating teacher was very busy doing grades for her students, I cannot afford to distract her. I understand how tedious and critical this process. Having that said, I should find ways on how to make it.
It is embedded in the module that we should create an intervention plan regarding on how to motivate learners. To be honest, I have no idea as to how this plan 'thingy'should be done or created. Having no choice, I did visit google and search how to create an intervention plan for students.
Of course, in order to create an intervention plan, it is imperative that you should first understand what you're going to do. And so, I've found that intervention plan serves as a guide (organized guide) for teachers in order for them to focus those concerns they want to give solution. Without a doubt, teachers do know the issues of their students in terms of their participation in class and their motivation to learn the course materials. With that said, it is crucial for teachers to create an intervention plan (also termed as action plan).
I've discovered that embedded in the plan are the objectives (the things you desire to implement), strategies & activities (the actions in order for your objectives to be realized), time frame (how long are you going to implement the strategies & activities in order to better achieve the objectives), person /s involve (the people who are involved in the intervention), and the expected output (the outcome you desire to achieve).
I believe ***we can make our own intervention plan.*** Let's say for example, one of your objectives is to improve your writing skills, of course you need to seek for strategies or activities that can realized your objectives. So your strategy is to join on Read.Cash. Since one of the main goals on this platform is to write blog entries, this will serve as your task. Moreover, in order for you to improve your skills in writing even more, it is crucial that you set a time frame. Let's say you want to write articles every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday only. So, you did set a time frame.
Furthermore, when it comes to the person involve, it is you and the writers on this platform are involved. Thus, the creator of the platform. As for the expected output, for sure, you will be accustomed to writing blog entries and at the same time you get to improve your writing skills. Before, you felt like you couldn't write just one article, but now, it feels like one article is not enough to suffice your urge to write. (Char!)

I'm quite amazed of myself considering that I was able to relate what I've learned in my module. I believe, when you desire to reach your goals in life, you need to find ways on how to achieve it. There's no denying that motivation drives us to go forward with our goals. Motivation enables us to be clear with our goals.

A day with mom

What's up dear readers on Read.Cash!
Today, me and my mother when to the heart of the town to get a plane ticket as she is going to go to Manila. Since, my youngest sister can't accompany her to go with mom, I decided to volunteer even though I have a lot of modules to answer. HAHAHA. I did disregard my academic endeavors just to accompany her. So, first we went to Cebuana Lhuiller because she thought that she could buy a plane ticket. Unfortunately, they don't have this kind of service. Having that said, we then head straight to Western Union trying our fortune. Good thing, they do have this kind of service.
As you may recall on my previous blog entry, my mother's youngest brother passed away last November 13. Actually, her brother is situated in Novaliches, Quezon City. My mother has 4 siblings there in Luzon (including my late Uncle). She can't book a flight after the said occurrence provided that her brother's body can't be touched for the reason that it is necessary first to undergo swab testing. The hospital can only perform a swab test to my Uncle on Monday (which is yesterday, November 15, 2021). Actually, she had already planned that if her brother is positive of COVID-19, she won't go to Quezon City provided that it will be useless and a waste of resources if she will go there without seeing her brother physically. Here in the Philippines, if a dead person is tested positive of COVID-19, he or she will be cremated. You didn't get to see your loved ones lying in a coffin.
Knowing that her brother is not positive of the aforesaid virus, she will go to see him in the flesh. It's so sad and painful that the only time when we can reunite with our loved ones is when someone is dead.
Going back, we asked the employee (lady) if there's a flight today. Luckily, there has only few customers at that time. With that said, we got enough attention from her. The employee said to us that there's still a flight at 2 pm and 5pm, but the price of the ticket is much expensive. You will pay PHP 5,000. Without denying, it's quite pricey.
Nonetheless, as we asked her once more what are the available flights for today, she said to us that there's an available flight tomorrow at 10:30 am, 2:00pm and 5:00 pm. The good thing is that the price of the ticket is much lesser. You will pay PHP 3,000 plus for the flight fare.
After minutes of contemplation, we decided to choose the 10:30 am flight. So, we paid PHP 3,159. We waited for the lady to book a 10:30 am but unfortunately, the system has crashed. For almost 20 minutes of waiting, we asked the lady to message me through text once she already booked my mom's flight for tomorrow.
And so, we headed outside the vicinity and decided to go to the nearest shopping center while waiting the flight ticket. We roamed around the four corners of the shopping center for almost 30 minutes. The reason why we desire to go to the shopping center it's because my mother wants to buy a keypad phone. She's not accustomed to using touch screen phone. She doesn't like the keypad phones in the shopping center. As a result, we only bought these stuffs.
We did go back to the Western Union with the hopes of receiving the ticket. Good thing, the lady was able to book a flight. Having that said, finally, we were able to receive the ticket.
Fast Forward
It's still quarter to 11 in the morning, but we're both already hungry. So, I told mom that why not we eat our lunch early. Gladly, she's on the go. Hahaha. We had our lunch at Corner Pastil. It's a local restaurant in our town where there main product is a Filipino packed rice dish that goes by the name of "Pastil."
The dish is consists of steamed rice and shredded pork, fish, beef, and chicken wrapped in banana leaves. My mother paid for our lunch for only PHP 100 ($2). After we had lunch, we rode a tricycle to head to a warehouse where you can buy various products for a favorable price.
She did buy a keypad phone, a pair of sleeping clothes, leggings, and a multi-function electric cook pot. As for me, I only bought a bucket hat. Hihihi.

My mom decided to leave the town and stay overnight together with my brother (in another city) because of her scheduled flight which is 10:30 am considering as well that the airport is 30 minutes away from our place. Indeed, we had a great time today (I'm mama's boy tho ☺). Praying for my mother's safe travel to Manila.

It's all about decluttering
Warm greetings my dear readers on this platform!
Today was a very exhausting day considering the fact that my youngest sister and I just decided to do general cleaning. It has been a while since the last time I did general cleaning.
We both woke up at around 7:30 in the morning. My parents are accustomed to waking up so early. With that said, they are always the one who prepare for breakfast. Indeed, my parents are the most caring, loving, and supportive people I've known. I couldn't ask for more. They're the best!
Going back, we had eaten our breakfast together. Our viand consists of dried fish and sardines mixed with eggs. These are the foods or viands we used to nosh. By the way it's around 8:00 am. Actually, we talked while eating. That's the usual thing we do whenever we eat together. It's like a form of family bonding tho. Anyways, after we had our breakfast, my youngest sister did wash the plate and as for me, I did broom our backyard.
Fast Forward
So, we started to clean the house at 9 am and ended at 4 in the afternoon. I can't believe that we were cleaning for almost 7 hours. Due to having a lot of inessential things, we were able to only eliminate 45% of it. After performing the not so general cleaning (HAHAHA), we took a bath provided that we felt discomfort. Indeed, it was a refreshing bath.
**Here are some reasons why we need to declutter our house**
To make the house more spacious
To tell you honestly, we do have a lot of stuff inside the house to the extent that it looks crowded and compact. The reason for not being able to get rid of the unnecessary things in our house is because my mother is such a sentimental person. Even though that particular thing is already damaged and ready to be dumped, she still keeps it. Nonetheless, now that we were able to have the opportunity to perform general cleaning, I explained to my mother that there are things that we need to let go. Letting go means you're open to welcome more opportunities and blessings in life.
To get rid of the unnecessary things
It is crucial to get rid of the unnecessary things inside our house in order to provide more space and thus, makes you more comfortable and feel a sense of tranquility. Being able to eliminate all the unwanted things inside the house enables us to develop our decision-making skills considering that we need to decide whether we throw or not the stuff that we possess.
To inflict an atmosphere of tranquility
There's no denying that what we perceive in our surrounding affects our mood. The more we see unpleasant or distracting view, the more we get anxious about it. Having that said, whenever we see our things being disorganized, we can't help but be annoyed. It is important that we should inflict our house an atmosphere of tranquility by making sure that we maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our home free from stress. Your home should be an avenue that can attract positive energy.
Closing Thought 💡
Disposing unnecessary stuff ameliorates our well-being. Thus, cleaning and discarding reduce anxiety provided that we get to achieve a sense of fruition. Certainly, working in a tidy space enables us to concentrate and achieve productivity.
***Note***: By the way, I was not able to mind my modules today because of this endeavor. Perhaps, I'm going to be dealing with it tomorrow.

I'm alone but not lonely

What's up my ever-supportive handsome and beautiful species on this platform!
How's your day today? Were you able to accomplish all the tasks you needed to carry out? I just hope that you were able to stick to this word, "PRODUCTIVE." Indeed, we should avoid this behavior called "procrastination."
Well, if you asked how's my day today, I would have to say that I was able to manage my time efficiently. During the morning, after performing all the household chores and eating our breakfast, what I did next is to answer my modules in Field Study 1. To be honest, my modules are quite draining and exhausting for the reason that answers must be in an essay type.
On one hand, during the morning, my mother and father were not in the house because they have errands to do. As for my youngest sister, she has to go to school because of the dance training. Actually, she always goes to school every Saturday and Sunday for that endeavor. She was able to achieve a full scholarship in her school.
My parents are so proud of us considering the fact that we were able to study without the need for them to pay for our tuition fees in the schools where we study. Going back, I was alone in the house doing some academic activities. Good thing, I'm alone at that time because I was able to finish 60% of my module activities. What a relief for me tho!
Afternoon
I was able to eat my lunch at around 1:15 provided that I didn't feel hungry. After eating, what I did is to drink a cup of black coffee without no sugar. I did stop answering my modules and took the chance to check my Facebook Messenger and other social while patiently waiting for my parents to arrive.
They arrived at the house at around 2:00. I did ask my mother and father if they already had eaten their lunch. Good thing they already did, considering the time. I told them that I want to take a nap. And so I did.
I woke up at around 4 pm. Actually, I'm not used to taking a nap because I'm afraid that I might be able to sleep so late. Have you ever experienced that also? Anyways, after waking up, I decided to take a bath in our neighbor's "bumba" (Jetmatic Water pump). I took a bath for almost 15 minutes.
Since I'm bored, I decided why not go to a shopping center? I just want to go there for the purpose of window shopping. I actually have a money, but it depends on if I'll see some stuff that interests me. Of course, I asked my parents to go to the aforesaid place. Good thing they permitted me to go. HAHAHA. So, I managed to go there at quarter to 5.
Just seeing the place makes me feel happy. I like the atmosphere of the place tho.
After almost 30 minutes of roaming around the shopping center, these are the things I bought.
After I exited the vicinity, I headed straight to a burger station wherein I did buy two orders of burgers. So since it's buy one take one, I got four burgers.
I suddenly realized that today is Sunday. And so, having that said, I went to church. I was not able to attend the mass so, what I did instead is bought a candle and decided to pray at the candle station as I lit the candle. I returned home at around 6:30 this evening.

Just because I'm alone it doesn't mean I'm lonely. I'm alone but not lonely. Alone and lonely are two completely different terms. Sometimes, we need to be alone and enjoy our own company. Being alone allows you to focus solely on yourself. Thus, it enables you to be productive.

I'm scared to be happy

Hey dear readers on Read.Cash!
Last night, as I was answering my modules in Field Study, my father called me. He told me on the phone that I can now get my allowance given by our local government unit (LGU) in our city. To be honest, I'm longing to get the money considering the fact that I have to utilize it for our thesis project. Our project technology costs more or less 10,000 pesos ($200). Besides, we have to start creating our project. Having that said, good thing I can now get it. What a blessing from the heavens! However, the thing is that I have to return to our city to get the money personally since I am the beneficiary of the allowance. So, I have to go the capitol to claim it.
After we talked about the allowance stuff, what I did is to pack my clothes and other necessary things that I should bring. I started to prepare my stuff at around 9:45 in the evening and ended at10:20. I was kind of excited actually because finally, after how many months of waiting, I'll be able to receive it. I intend to sleep at around 11 pm and wake up at 5:30 am. Nevertheless, I utilized the remaining 40 minutes to read some blog entries and checked my social media platforms.
Fast Forward
***Today***
I exactly woke up at 5:30 in the morning, did first my morning prayer, and cook rice for our breakfast before I take a bath. I already prepared my clothes to wear last night. I don't want to consume so much time. After readying myself, I then head to one of the eateries here in our neighborhood. I bought 2 different viands. So, I decided to eat first. Since, I've done doing the things that I should do, I wave my hand to bid goodbye to my brother. I will be away with my brother for 3 days. Actually, he wants me to go home. Of course, I make sure to bring my modules with me so that I will not become unproductive considering that I have to double my efforts on finishing my tasks.
Anyway, it was 7:05 when I finally arrived at the bus terminal. Actually, we waited for almost 30 minutes because the driver has to fully fill the bus with passengers. After almost two hours of traveling, finally, I arrived at my city; I arrived at home. Be that as it may, instead of feeling the adrenaline rush and euphoria, my mood suddenly changed. I see right before my eyes that my mother is crying . My father told me that our Uncle (my mother's youngest brother) has passed away. I couldn't help myself but cry as well because I really don't want my mom to cry. I gave my mom a tight embrace just to give her solace.
That's why I don't want to be very happy because whenever I'm in a state of extreme euphoria, I feel like something bad will happen. Have you also felt that way? Indeed, life surprises us with an unanticipated turn of events. Life makes us feel clueless. As much as possible, I don't want to talk about death provided that it's way too morbid.

There's no denying that losing someone you love so dearly is indeed excruciating. It's like you hit rock bottom. They may be dead physically but the memories we have of them continue to live on.

Hey what's up my dear readers on this platform!
Today is Friday which marks the end of the weekdays. Last night, even though I slept late, I said to myself that I would wake up at 6:45 in the morning. So, I did set the alarm at that particular time. However, I failed. The reason why is that I was not able to hear the alarm. My brother turned off my alarm without me knowing. He already heard my alarm but me who set it has no idea. So, as a result, I woke up at around 9:30 am. I'm quite upset considering that I'm almost 3 hours late. Having that said, It's like I lost my energy to start my day. My concentration level is at around 50%, and I can't think of a good topic to write about.
Be that as it may, after minutes of contemplation, I was able to think of an interesting topic. If I were to go to the moon, what will I gain after going there? Would I really want to risk myself just for this opportunity? Just seeing the moon shining brightly in the sky at night would be enough for me. I don't know, but I feel like If I go to the moon, it would be overwhelmingly scary. I guess, the looks more beautiful if it is seen from afar. On one hand, I don't want to risk this precious life of mine for something that doesn't concern me in the first place.
**I** would like to move to the USA. I guess most of you here, if not all, desires to go to in that country. Furthermore, I would want to experience the seasons there. Not only that, but I want to experience the school life there. Since, the USA is considered as a developed country, I want to experience the privileges they provide for their citizens. I want my life to be more comfortable and stable.
Well, I would be very glad considering that I'm loving what I'm perceiving. Even though what I'm experiencing is pure hallucination caused by inhaling oxygen, at least what I see makes me feel happy. I want to hallucinate forever if all I can see is all the good side of life.
If I could invite 4 famous people to dinner, I would choose Ariana Grande, Lalisa Manoban, Lea Salonga, and Angelina Jolie. I'm a fan of them and I would really make use of my time talking to them while enjoying our dinner. I would have to say that they are all empowered women who are worthy of admiration.
There's no problem with not being able to drink coffee during coffee break because I could drink coffee whenever I want. Actually, I used to drink coffee 3 times or more than that in a day. Before, I used to drink 3 in 1 coffee with sugar, but now, I drink strong black coffee without sugar added. I discover from someone that drinking black coffee without sugar is beneficial for weight loss. Having that said, I never drink 3 in 1 coffee for the last seven months.

I miss you guys. I miss interacting with you all. Please forgive me for not being able to read your blog entries yesterday. I feel like I’m starting to detach myself on this platform even just for a day. Anyway, for this blog entry, you will find out the reason why I was not able to be active on Read.Cash.
As I am currently writing this blog entry to be published tomorrow, it’s already 9:50 in the evening. I decided to write this blog entry provided that my memories of what my day goes is still fresh. I think I will be able to finish this by 11:30 pm or 12 am. Unfortunately, I’m going to sleep late. With that said, I will fail to wake up early tomorrow.
Actually, I’m quite upset, but I have to make something to cope up with my inactivity. On one hand, as I am currently writing this blog, I am as well watching the latest movie of Marvel entitled, “Shang-Chi.” What is multitasking? Right? lol.
Okay so let’s cut the crap and go directly to the main topic of this blog entry!
Morning|Yesterday
I woke up at around 5:30 in the morning. I did promise to myself, I have to go back to my usual sleeping habits (but I fail today). After I did my morning prayer, I did prep our breakfast while my brother is working (work at home). Additionally, I did clean our room for the reason that it’s quite disorganized and after that, we had eaten our breakfast. I used to write my blog entries every morning. With that said, I wrote my blog for that day and here’s that blog;
To be honest, I finished writing this article for almost 4 hours for the reason that I had to try myself to remember the story of the film.
Afternoon|Yesterday
***1:50 pm***
It was raining cats and dogs. I don’t know why, but I hate when it’s raining. However, that doesn’t bother me to care for I have an errand to run. As a graduating education student, we have these major subjects this semester called “Field Study 1 and 2”. By the way, we now considered as Pre-Service Teachers.
Going back, my buddy and I were told by our cooperating teacher (CT) to see her at school at around 2:30 in the afternoon provided that she wanted to orient us about the things that we should do as pre-service teachers. Actually, that buddy was also my best friend; she was my first friend in college. It has been a while since the last time we saw each other in the flesh. I guess it’s almost 4 months.
On one hand, it was so unfortunate of us to find out that our CT wasn’t present on the place she told us to be at. So, we asked one of the staffs in the school if he has an idea as to where's our CT. Good thing, he knew where are our CT was at that particular time. So, we walked for almost 5 minutes. By the way, it was our first time seeing her. We only recognized her through Facebook.
Although we were distance away from our CT, I could recognize her even she wore a sun glass and face mask.
To cut the story short, we discussed things out and the same time sorted out the modules of her students for almost 2 hours.
After that, my best friend I decided to go to the mall. Since we are used to walking, we walked for almost 15 minutes before we reached to our next destination. As soon as we entered inside, we headed directly to McDonald's. McDonald's is one of the well-known fast-food restaurants in the Philippines.
After ordering and receiving the food, we ate the food of course. While eating our food, we talked and laughed to our heart’s content. As soon as we finished eating, we headed outside the fast-food chain. It's 5 pm at that time. I did expect that we would bid goodbye, but abruptly she told me, why not go to a karaoke house?
It took us 3 minutes to go to the karaoke house. Good thing it's near to the mall. We pay 100 pesos **($2)** to sing for 1 hour.
Over the course of an hour, we managed to sing these songs.

House of Wax

What's up dear readers on read.cash!
I was able to sleep early again last night. As a result, I woke up today at around 5:30. I'm now on my second day of trying to change my sleeping habits for the betterment of my well-being. I just hope that I will not fail myself again. Likewise, I'm not getting any younger and so, I have to take good care of myself even more and be disciplined.
On the contrary, are you fond of watching horror films? I think most of you here on this platform like to watch horror films. Well, If I were to be asked, I would say that I'm in between. To be honest, I can't afford to watch horror films on my own because I'm such a yellow-belly person. I easily get scared. I could only watch this genre when I have someone beside me. Anyways, will you watch movies with me? Particularly movies that are horrifying? If yes, then you will know how I look like when I watch scary movies. HAHAHA.
For this blog entry, I want to share with you the lessons that I've learned from the film that my brother and I already watched. And so, without further ado, here's what you will need to know!
My brother and I came across with this 2005 coming of the age horror, thriller, and slasher film entitled, "House of Wax" on Netflix. This film was directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. Additionally, this film is actually inspired on Charles Belden's unpublished short story entitled, "The Wax Works" in the year 1932. The reason why we happened to watch this film is because we were so intrigued that time as to what this film is all about. Judging from the title of the film, it's undeniable that you will likewise want to get to know the film.
So, the story is all about a group of colleagues who are supposed to head straight to a college football game but failed to manage to go directly to the location of the match for the reason that it's already evening, and they are all exhausted at the same time. Due to that circumstance, they decided to camp in a sequestered area just for one night without knowing that they just lead themselves towards danger.
Since, I'm not a spoiler type of person, so if you have some spare time, might consider watching this film for lot of bloodcurdling events happen on this film.
Anyways, these are some of the things I've learned from the movie.
Be Cautious
When you are in a foreign place, always remind yourself to be cautious; to be vigilant of your surroundings. Always think in advance. Always think of the "what ifs." The characters in the film never consider the possible danger they could get out from staying in the woods. They don't consider as well the fact that they get to have a conflict with the unknown driver who happens to drop by in the location where they set their camp. Instead of taking some turns of sleep, what they do is be complacent.
You can count on your sibling/s
In times of difficulty, one of the persons you can count on is your sibling. Good thing, Nick and Carly are siblings in the film. Despite being not in good terms, their love for each other as siblings prevails. Nick really shows unconditional love for her sister Carly by going to such lengths just to protect her sister. I can relate to Nick since I do have as well a sister (youngest). I do love my sibling so much, and I will do everything to protect her no matter what the cost.
Don't be deceived; have some trust issues!
In the film, Carly and her boyfriend is deceived by a man who thought they could help them of their problem. Little did they know that they are the next target to be killed and eventually become their horrid collections. Intriguing right? Well, watch this film and you will know what I mean. Even your most trusted friend can dare to betray you, what more to a merely stranger? Indeed, allowing yourself to trust a stranger instantaneously is kind of peculiar and unconcerned. Have some trust issues!

The goodness of waking up early

To tell you honestly, I intend to sleep at around 8 in the evening last night because in the previous week, I used to sleep at around 1 in the morning. I feel like I'm not minding the health risk that I will get in the future. One of the reasons is that my brother and I are currently watching a Korean drama entitled, 'Hwarang.' Even though I'm watching late at night still, I see too it that I accomplish all the tasks that I have for the day. I can track my activities provided that I have created a 'to-do-list.'
Just last night, I have no choice but to sleep early considering as well that my brother told me so. Who am I not to follow him? Right? Due to that, I wasn't able to read some of the articles that I already saved in the 'saved articles' section. Actually, I only read 15 articles last night. With that, please forgive me folks! Today, I planned to read 25 articles.
I woke up at 5:30 today. Of course after I had my morning prayer, I then go outside our room to cook rice. After that, I did take a bath. I would have to say that It has been a while since the last time I took an early bath. I felt extremely refreshed. Thus, It's like the atmosphere of positivism penetrates the totality of my being. As a result, it makes me want to do a lot of things for this day.
Anyways for this blog entry, you will know what are the benefits I get from waking up early. And so, allow me to share it with you all. Let's cut the crap and go directly on the main topic of this blog entry!
1. It uplifts my mood
I believe one of the most effective ways to improve your mood is to wake up early. Based on my experience, whenever I wake up early (having quality sleep), it feels like It gives me so much energy to start the day. I feel like the level of my concentration is at around 95%. If anyone asked me, I'm a morning type of person and so most of the time, I do write my articles in the morning. I must say that I tend to accomplish a lot of tasks during morning. Likewise, that's the time when I get to have an idea as to what to write for my blog. Every time I wake up early, I feel this sense of gratitude and excitement.
2. I get to eat an early breakfast
To be honest, I miss eating breakfast. It is said that breakfast is ***'the most important meal of the day'*** but every time I wake up late, like for instance 9 am, I intend to do brunch. I know to myself that what I'm doing is way too risky for my health, but I always choose to do the wrong way. However this time, I really want to do things right. After knowing as well that skipping breakfast will lead to gain weight, I'm now eager to stick again to my usual sleeping time. After all, this is for the betterment of my well-being.
3. You get to accomplish all the tasks you have for the day
I believe, being able to track your daily activities would be a great advantage for you especially if you have a lot of tasks that need to accomplish for the day. Besides, you get to determine if you are being productive or not. On one hand, knowing what you will do will enable you to find out what tasks are consuming a huge amount of time and make significant changes in order to utilize time in a more balanced and efficient way. Certainly, having a to-do-list enables you to prioritize the things that needs immediate action.

Goals to grind for the month of November

Is it too late for me now to set my goals for this month considering that I made this blog entry on the 8th day? Well, please forgive me folks. Hahaha. Anyway, If you were with me throughout my journey on this platform, you will notice that I didn't set a goal last month. Do I sound as if I'm an old user on this platform? That's kinda weird. Hihihi. Kidding aside, I would have to say that I surpassed almost a month of being active on this platform. Good thing I didn't give up.
Good thing I get to arrive at this point of time. Good thing I get to write this blog entry. What a privilege for me! I would have to say that I'm so grateful for this opportunity. To the people who believed and supported me since the beginning, I will not be going to get tired of expressing my gratitude. In fact, the word thank you is not enough. You guys are the reasons why I chose to stay. I want to grow with you all.
Last month was indeed a challenging month for me knowing that I decided to stay out of my comfort zone. I decided to take a leap of faith. My thoughts were clashing whether if I am going to stay active on this platform or just give up and be a l*ser. In spite of that, I was able to create blog entries that I never thought I could make. I was so amazed of this other version of me. I couldn't begin to believe how this platform taught me the significance of time management and productivity. Indeed, I've changed but in a positive way. Without a doubt, time really flies so fleetly and over the course of this month (October), a lot of things had done and accomplished.
Anyway, enough of this drama, let's go directly to the main topic of this blog entry which is creating my goals for the month of NOVEMBER.

I intend to make it 60 for the reason that I just don't want to pressure myself. I believe this is enough for this month. Pressuring myself would cause me stress. I already have a stressful academic life deeming that I am a graduating student. So, I should not compromise my well-being

Since number 21 is my birthdate, I decided that this month, I'll have to publish at least 21 articles. You spend time thinking what topic to write for this particular day but end up wasting time. Nevertheless, I'll still try to aim more than 21 articles for this month.

The careers I desire to become

How’s your sleep last night? I hope you all slept well and had a nice dream. Well, last night, I was not able to write an article provided that I don’t have any topics in mind. It is as if my mind was like a plain canvas—blank. With that being said, I just slept early hoping that I would think of a good topic tomorrow. Since that tomorrow is today, well I guess this topic I have in mind will be a good way to start my day considering the fact that first on my “to-do-list” for today is to write a blog entry.
Anyway, for this blog entry, I will discuss here the 3 careers or professions that I desire to do or become. And so, without further ado, let’s head straight into the main topic of this article.
What is a career?
When we say “career,” it is ***a job assumed for a crucial stage of an individual’s life and with opportunities for development.***
I believe you can all agree with me that we all have a lot of careers that we desire to do. Have you ever thought of pursuing other careers other than the career you have right now? I guess I consider writing here on this platform as a career.
Certainly, we undertake a job that does not only enable us to earn money, but likewise give as an avenue to gain valuable insights from other writers that for sure we can apply in our everyday lives.
On the contrary, these are the careers I desire to become or I want to be put into realization. ❣
Career as an Educator
If anyone asked, I’m currently a fourth-year education student. Indeed, I’m closer to becoming a teacher. One of the reasons why I desire to become a teacher is because I want to impart knowledge to the people who lack knowledge about the world. Besides, I want them to view the world in different perspectives. As much as possible, I want to provide them the best learning experience that they deserve. I just want to become one of the catalysts of change. I want to touch other people’s lives through teaching.
Career as a Flight Attendant
I started to like this career even more because of my best friend in Senior High School. She encouraged me to pursue this career because she thought that this career is suitable for me and that my personality is right for this career. Honestly, this is also one of my dream careers. I desire to work in an airline transportation industry. Whether it’s international or domestic, I have no problem with that.
In addition, based on the information that I have gathered, flight attendants have free flights and travel benefits. Aside from that, their families and friends can also benefit from having free flights. Besides, what’s more interesting is the fact that they have a flexible time schedule. I just hope that I could pursue this career in my later years.
Career as a Model
As you may recall on my previous blog entry, I did a Halloween photoshoot. That is just a manifestation that I desire to become a model. Indeed, modeling is a fascinating career, which provides substantial occasions to travel to various places and at the same time be able to meet various class of individuals.
There's no doubt that modeling is a highly paid career. On one hand, I really like to do photoshoots having different layouts. With that said, I prefer to indulge myself in photographic and product modeling. On the other hand, the good thing of this career is that it enables you to become a confident person. Being a model means you are exposing yourself;your flaws but despite that, you're still feel good about yourself. If given the opportunity to do this career in the future. I would definitely grab it.

The Unanticipated Visitor 💚

What's up dear readers on this platform!
At long last! The random rewarder finally visited my account last night! Indeed, what a blessing from the heavens above! It's like the feeling of euphoria enveloped the totality of my body. Up until today, I still can't contain the happiness that I am feeling. It's as if I want to cling to this feeling forever.
I can't deny the fact that these past few days, I'm thinking when will Rusty take the time to visit my blog entries. It has been almost a month and yet there was no sign of him. I was thinking, was there a problem with my account? My blog entries? Did I do something that makes him not to visit me? To be honest, if he still didn't visit me last night, I would definitely make an article entitled, ***"where are you now 'cause I'm thinking of you."*** Sounds familiar? Well, I love that song from Honor Society. Hahaha.
Anyway, going back, I kept on thinking whether he will visit me or not. I even talked the person who invited me to join this platform @Sequoia about my status. Actually, she is one of my acquaintances, my classmate and my thesis group mate. So we talked about it through chat. She told me that she was also visited by Rusty for almost a month. She told me not to worry because for sure the random rewarder will soon visit me in no time.
And she was right! The random rewarder managed to visit me. It was around 7 in the evening when I checked my notifications on Read.Cash. The funny thing is that I thought that the random rewarder appear on my notifications because he upvoted other blog entries. But upon checking twice, I couldn't help but shout. I just froze for a second like I couldn't begin to believe that Rusty upvoted my blog entries!
Anyway, it didn't come to a point that I cried, I just had teary eyes. Certainly, I was just so blessed how God overwhelmed me with His blessings. Now, I considered November 5 as my luckiest day. It's like I won the lottery. I guess you can all relate with me.
Realizations
For almost a month of longing for Rusty, ***my patience has been tested.*** There are certain moments where I asked myself what If I should just give up on this platform? Maybe, I'm not good in this field or maybe this isn't for me in the first place. Nevertheless, as I continue myself being active on this platform, I met several individuals along my odyssey who really made me feel that I'm part of this growing community. Indeed, they always lift my spirit by giving positive feedbacks and thus, they made me feel that my works are worth-noticing. If I didn't wait this long, I wouldn't meet Rusty. I wouldn't meet you guys. ***It really pays to wait.***
There's no denying that ***joining this platform takes a lot of determination and perseverance.*** Good thing I never gave up. Good thing I chose to stay despite the struggle and the doubts I've been fighting all along. On one hand, writing has been my not so favorite skill. However, as I exposed myself to this skill, I realized that it's a good way to express your thoughts and emotions. I would say that I'm starting to like writing. Staying for almost a month on this platform I've realized that ***you will never know what you're capable of doing if you will give up so easily.*** The more you give up, the more you stay on your comfort zone.

This blog entry that you're about to read contains some information of the film that I watched last night and thus, the things that I've learned after watching the film. And so, without further ado, let's head straight to the main topic of this blog entry!
Last night, my brother and I happened to watch this film entitled, **"Hush."** It's an American psychological thriller film on the year 1998. To be honest, we were not supposed to watch this film considering that it's an old movie and the video quality is not that pleasing in the eyes. However, after seconds of contemplation, we thought, why not give it a try? So, we did watch it.

The film revolves around the newly married New Yorker couple **Helen** (Gwyneth Paltrow) and **Jackson Baring** (Jonathon Schaech) decided to move to Kentucky. It's Jackson's hometown where there family owns a vast first-class horse farm. Helen is already pregnant when they moved to the aforesaid place. With that said it would be a better place for her pregnancy. Little did she know that her husband's obsessive mother (**Martha** **Baring**) desires to eliminate her.
These are the things that I've learned after watching the film.
**1. First impression matters**
In the film, Helen meets Martha for the first time in the most awkward way. Helen is completely naked when she meet her mother-in-law. What's worst is the fact that Helen is in Jackson's room. Maybe, at the back of Martha's mind, she thinks that this woman is no good for her son. Anyway, Martha Baring is a Catholic person.
I do believe that first impression matters because it is the impression that lasts for a long time. There is no denying that all the positive things we do will be disregarded because what people always see in us is only the negative actions or things we do. So, I must say that it's crucial to have a good first impression to someone.
**2. Don't be a manipulative parent.**
Martha manipulates her son, she wants to brainwash her son just to get rid of her daughter-in-law. She even twisted the truth pertaining to the cause of the death of her husband even if it means her son Jackson has to suffer emotionally (on his earlier years). Jackson thinks he is the reason why he's father is dead.
On one hand, as parents, we should not be manipulative to our son's and daughters. We don't know how detrimental it is for the emotional well-being of our children. With that said, start changing your ways and reassess your parenting style so that there will be no issue to occur in the future.
**3. The role of a parent is to support and give wise counsel to his Child.**
Be that as it may, in the film, instead of supporting her son Jackson to be even more intimate and close to his wife Helen, she's desires to destroy his son's married life. She's saying things to her son in order for him to alienate from his wife. She's indeed an obsessive mother. I believe she doesn't want her son to have a partner, but she has no choice.
As a parent, instead of meddling your son's/daughter's married life, why not give them valuable advises that they can surely use in settling conflicts with their partners? Instead of interfering, brainwashing and destroying their married life, why not show your support to them? Don't be a selfish parent. Don't think to yourself that you're the only one who can love your child. It's not even a competition to begin with. Just be grateful that someone loves your child wholeheartedly. Stop the hate towards your in-laws. Start to accept and love them for the way they are.

Greetings, dear readers!
As I was scrolling videos on TikTok, I happened to come across with a particular video where she gives review on the movies she watched on Netflix. The genres of the film she reviewed are mystery, crime, and psychological thriller. Despite the fact that those films she had mentioned on her video was unfamiliar and underrated, but I would have to say that they are worth to watch. Besides, I was able to know now what films to watch if I have some spare time.
Be that as it may, out of those films she reviewed, there's this one film that made me feel interested to watch. This film is entitled, "SEVEN." As a result of my curiosity, I asked my brother to watch it together. By the way it was a 2-hour movie. We started to watch around 1:20 in the afternoon yesterday.
Anyway, the movie revolves around a serial killer who does murder innocent people in a way that is strange. The serial killer kills them based on the seven deadly sins. With that said, the two lead characters of the story, detective William Somerset (Morgan Freeman) and David Mills (Brad Pitt) are assigned to investigate the aforementioned mystifying murder case.
What are the seven deadly sins?
Based on my research, the seven deadly sins are practices that motivate transgression. These 7 sins are arranged like this: ***pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath and sloth.*** However, in the film, the orders are shuffled; gluttony, greed, sloth, lust, pride, envy, and wrath.
I will not be going to spoil the happenings in the film, but instead I will share in this blog entry my insights regarding these 7 deadly sins.
Let's start with...
*****Gluttony*****
The word gluttony is defined as the ***act or behavior of eating too much.*** Back when I was a kid, I used to eat too much even though my stomach is already full. Good thing, my parents told me that it's a sin that I should not tolerate this kind of action. With that said, I've learned how to control myself; my pleasure for food. I'm not a picky eater. I can eat everything except for exotic foods. Nonetheless, I can't deny the fact that I sometimes tend to eat as if I'm competing with others.
***Greed***
The definition of greed is the ***act or behavior of being selfish in terms of influence, money, food, and the like.*** Am I a selfish person? Well I can be a selfish person during exams. HAHAHA. It's not that I don't want to share my answers, but I don't feel like it's fair. Besides, I don't want to tolerate this "free-ride" act. If you want to pass the test, then do study and be a better son/daughter to your parents. Sometimes, being selfish can be an avenue for you to assess the people I'm surrounded with. I get to be selfish but in a positive way.
***Sloth***
The word "sloth" is being defined as ***the act of being indolent.*** We can be sometimes lazy however, let's not make this as a habit. Being indolent makes you become unproductive, and we don't want that. In order to have a purposeful life, one must achieve it by being productive. We only have one life to live and so, we must seize every single moment that we live in this world. Moreover, being lazy means you are somehow rejecting to follow God; you reject to carry out everything for His honor.
***Lust***
The meaning of lust is ***having a strong desire for earthly pleasure especially in terms of sexual desire.*** I believe I don't manifest this behavior. On the contrary, it's so sad to accept the reality that some people build a relationship having lust as the foundation. They don't realize the consequences of their immoral action and continue to do sinful acts.
*****Pride*****
We can't deny the fact that we all possess this attitude. Somehow ***we all think to ourselves that we are better than others.*** That is what we called pride. Pride entails not only self-respect but also egotism. ***Pride is considered as the source of all evil.***
*****Envy*****
Envy is defined as ***a feeling of being melancholic of other people's good luck, possession, and the like.*** This emotion desires to have the same things as what other people have.
Have you felt envy of other people's success? Way back, I used to envy my friends or classmates for being so wealthy. They all have the material possession that I don't have. They can go to places if they want to. It's like they have the most perfect life. Nevertheless, little did I know that even though they live a comfortable life, they are not genuinely happy. One of my friend's parents live together, but they are not in good terms for a long time. She knows that they only live in one roof only for her. And so I realized that there's nothing for me to envy. I have a loving family who always supports me. Even though we are not rich financially, but we are rich with love.
In contrary, if people already achieved success, then you must wait for your time. Don't rush yourself for there will come a time that all your hard works will be paid off and when that time comes, seize it. Don't feel envious of other people's success but instead make them as an inspiration for your journey towards achieving success.
*****Wrath*****
The word wrath is characterized as ***possessing unmanageable emotions of rage, hatred, and anger.*** These emotions will manifest if you want to take revenge to someone who caused you to feel these emotions.
Have you ever experienced being in a state of rage to the extent that you hurt the person physically or emotionally?
I can't deny the fact that I get to be angry to someone, but that feeling is only temporary. I don't hold grudges on someone for too long. I don't want hate to enter my system. If God can forgive us even though we are sinners, then why is it so hard for us to forgive the people who caused us pain? I know it's difficult to forgive, but it's the only way to unchain ourselves from this emotion. It's better to forgive than to receive. Huh? HAHAHA. Kidding aside, do not let anger consume you.

I just had a disturbing dream today. It has been a while since the last time I dreamt about my grandfather. To be honest, i can say that we were not that close to each other considering that he's a very strict ***"lolo"*** (grandfather). Anyway, in my dream, he bring a piece of paper with I think an image of a book shelf containing a lot of old books.
He wants me to draw this one. So, I did what he wants me to do. Although I already finished drawing still, he is not satisfied. As a result, he wants me again to draw it as if he is buying a time for me.
Now, I begin to realize that when he died, he never seen my presence nor my brother's for how many months provided that we had to leave our town in order to live in another city. Actually before when we were on our highschool years, we could always see each other provided that we were just neighbors. If he needed some help in carpentry works, he always look for us to help him.
Unfortunately, we never visited our late grandfather on his grave but that doesn't mean we forget him. Yes, he was strict back then but I guess it's just his way of showing love to his grandchildren. I/we missed him so much.
**Closing Thought💛**
I feel like he's trying to make bond with me even if it means we can only do this in my dream. When he was alive back then, I used to think that his only favorite grandchild is my brother. Maybe, my grandfather doesn't want me to forget him completely. I will never forget you **'Lo,** even though i seemed distant to you before, but I am so grateful for having you as my grandfather. There's still part of you that is alive, and that is the learnings I've gained from you.

A pleasant evening to my ever-supportive, amazing, and beautiful human beings on this platform!!!
How was your day folks? Well, if you would ask me, I would have to consider this day as a productive one considering that I was able to read 15 blog entries in the morning and another 15 blog entries in the afternoon after I met my group virtually for some thesis matter. I'm just extremely overwhelmed by my performance today. It was really a great pleasure to be reading all the blog entries I've saved both old and new.
Actually, I finished to read all of it. I couldn't deny the fact that I felt so moved by your blog entries may it be a work of fiction or your real-life stories. I can say that indulging myself on this platform makes my spirit alive. Indeed, here on Read Cash, I can truly say that I get to become a productive person equipped with all the learnings you all have imparted on me.
***Anyway, enough of the introduction, let's head straight to the main subject of my blog!***
Since my brother took a vacation leave for just a day, as usual our bonding moment is to watch movies on Netflix. Most of the time, he is the one who will choose what film to watch. So, I just let him do the honor.
After minutes of scrolling on the movie lists, he happened to come across with this 2019 movie entitled, "Don't Let Go." The film has 5 genres; horror, suspense, science fiction, supernatural, and psychological horror. And so, we watched it.
Anyway, as what I have understood about the film, the story revolves around the 2 main characters; Jack and Ashley. Jack is Ashley's uncle. He is a cop. Ashley and her parents were found lifeless in their house for they were brutally murdered by some unidentified culprit. Uncle Jack was eager to search the person behind the murder case. In an unexpected encounter, he realizes that he can able to talk to Ashley from the past. And so, they help each other in order to determine the culprit and manage to undo or avoid the dreadful event from occuring.
After watching the film, these are the life lessons I've learned.
1. Know the people you can trust
After watching the film, I came to realize that ***I shouldn't fully give my hundred percent trust to someone except for my family***. I may have a lot of friends but I feel confident to put my trust to my first friend in college. She's one the most generous and empathetic persons that I've known. I proved that she is a trustworthy friend because before we had a major fight where we did not talk for a while. Despite of that circumstance, she never backstabbed me to her other colleagues. Indeed, I agree that your friends in college will be your friends for life and I consider her as my friend for life.
2. You can change your future
Certainly, you can change you future. ***What you're doing in the present time will reflect the future you will have.*** With that said, do something good and worthwhile now because for sure you will truly be proud of yourself for what you have become in the future. For instance, you are writing articles for the purpose of earning and gaining learnings. You will never know not until you discover yourself that you have become the most well-known writer in the future. Who knows?
3. What goes around, comes around.
I believe in this statement. ***What you do may it be good or bad, there's always a corresponding consequences for that action.*** Indeed, karma is a b*tch! On the contrary, for example, you're writing articles on Read.Cash despite the fact that you earn a little amount of money but because of your determination and dedication, people are starting notice your presence. They now give appreciation to your blog entries by upvoting and commenting positive words of encouragement.
Without a doubt, for every action, there's always a consequence. Bear that in your mind.
4. If criminals are scary people, so are the cops.
***Someone who's in power has the potential to manipulate people who are inferior to them.*** In the movie, a particular cop does control matters into his own hands like where's the word due process? Justice? This kind of people is way more scarier than criminals. Anyway, ***I'm not generalizing that cops are bad, there are some to be exact.*** Shame to those cops who are using their powers to scare and manipulate people.

Last night, I decided to become a vampire

Hi dear reader! This blog entry is going to be my entry for Halloween. Without further ado, you can start reading now! ❤
Since it's the start of Halloween last night, I abruptly decided to do a fun shoot with my brother as my photographer. Actually I just forced him to be my photographer. He had no choice anyway. HAHAHA.
I just felt the desire to update my profile picture on Facebook with something that is unusual; the spookier me (charaught). I just did remember that I had bought a black classic tuxedo before at a certain thrift store in our place. With that said, this gave me the idea to dress up as a medieval vampire--a newbie vampire to be exact.
Since I only have one layout for my fun shoot, I assume to finish it quickly. By the way, I started to prep things at around 6:35 pm provided that I had to eat dinner first and clean and organized our room afterwards. I'm pretty sure you all have an idea as to what is a vampire.
You can see in movies that their skin is as pale as snow. So, I had to put a lot of powder on my face. And as for the blood on my mouth, I had to improvise it by using red dyes. I didn't include the fangs because I couldn't make it. I believe the face and the blood is enough tho.
On the contrary, i did not call my brother for help in setting up my background design since it's easy to setup and considering as well that he is not in the mood. 😅
I thought that we would finish everything for a span of 30 minutes but I failed to realize that my phone gets easily drain. Perhaps my battery needs replacement. As a result, every ten minutes, we need to charge it to gain an enough battery percentage.
Maybe soon when I get to earn enough money here on this platform, I will utilize it to replace my phone'a battery. For now I will continue to use my phone since it's still functioning. This is one of the reasons as well why I sometimes forget to read your blog entries. Even If my brother is already pissed off of the situation he had no choice but to support me since he knows that I'm not used to doing this kind of stuff. It just so happened that I had the interest to busy myself with this kind of thing.

**Survival Tactics**
Vampires can survive by means of killing. They kill animals or worst, humans. They need to drink blood using their dagger-like teeth. In films, vampires preferred to consume blood from humans provided that for them, the human's blood is way more tasty compare to animals.
**Strengths**
***Immortality***- they can live not just hundreds but thousands of years.
***Physical strength***-they possess great strength as they can carry a super heavy stuff.
***Superhuman speed***- they can run as fast as the cheetah.
***Senses***- their senses are more accurate and strong.
***Healing****-they* have the ability to heal their wounds immediately.
Weaknesses
***Sunlight***- vampires can only roam around at night because they are afraid of sunlight. The sunlight can burn them for good.
***Fire***- they are also afraid of this element since it is similar to sunlight.
***Silver***- any weapons that are made of silver is detrimental to them. Once they get stabbed by a silver-made weapon, for sure they will be dead in no time
***Holy water***- since this thing is sacred, they are afraid of it as this thing can burn their skin.
***Church***-vampires are considered evil, with that, they are afraid to enter any religious locations.

I couldn't believe that my blog entries have reached a total of 500 views! Yay! I can't contain the happiness that I'm feeling. Im in a state of euphoria like I have this positive energy within me.
