You're Pretty Annoying
Are you the type of person that swiftly becomes irritated by something? Are you, like me, easily irritated by minor annoyances? Because if you do, then we're bestie LOL. That feeling when you're in a mood to be a good girl because you woke up feeling so pretty and blessed, breathing fresh air and all. Then all of a sudden it fades away and returns to its original form as a lioness. To be honest, I'm the type of person that gets quickly irritated over the tiniest of details. Anything, like, will instantly spoil my mood. That is why I like to be alone to clear my mind because if I am not, I will erupt like a nuclear bomb at any moment.
I want to share with you guys some of the following things that annoy me the most. And I'm pretty sure that some of you can relate to these annoying people.
Eating with an annoying sounds

One of the things that most irritates me is this. I despise it when someone eats like a goat while making a distracting noise, or when they eat with the sound of a spoon colliding with their teeth. This happens all the time between my elder and younger brothers. I'm losing my appetite just hearing them eat like that. I read a dissertation on this topic called Misophonia, which is being easily bothered or annoyed by everyday sounds like people eating, breathing, and so on. And I begin to wonder if I, too, suffer from this condition.
Teeth Grinding

Knowing me as a nocturnal person, I sometimes sleep late, and my brother also. My younger brother does this every night. I don't know what's wrong with him. If he sleeps earlier than I, then I expect a hell of a night for me. I still remember the night when I was writing an article and when he suddenly started grinding his teeth when he was asleep. I told him that if he was not going to shut the f up, I would pull all those teeth out. By the way, he's sleeping in our room. I always told him to go sleep in our grandparents' vacant room, but I think he's comfortable in our room. Most of our family does this tooth grinding, and the most annoying one was my nephew. At the time when our older sister came over to sleep with us for two nights, they slept in our room with my two nephews. Her oldest was the most annoying one because he always grinded his teeth every freaking time. To tell you the truth, I couldn't sleep properly if they came over to our house.
Asking the same questions again and again

Don't tell me that I am the only one who gets annoyed by someone who keeps asking the same question over and over again when you have already explained to him/her about a certain thing. Who wouldn't be annoyed when someone asked you a dumb simple question when they could've googled it? Right? It's not being maarte ha, it's just that you could've just googled it naman LOL.
When someone keeps disturbing me while I am watching a movie

When you see me seriously focusing on a movie or anime that I am watching, please don't disturb me or I will turn into Super Saiyan. I don't mind being spoiled in a movie at all. What I really hate is when someone disturbs me while I am watching my favourite movies. Like, asking who the main character is, is it good? What was the storey all about? What is its genre? Uhm,, bruh, can't you see that I am still watching? How can I answer all of your questions when I am still watching?

Busy rainy day
I woke up early yesterday to run some errands. I needed to go to my school for some school matters, and I had to travel by bus for an hour to get to our university. When it was still a face-to-face class, I stayed in a boarding house because if I didn't, I would always be late because I woke up late and had to wait for the bus at the bus stop. I woke up at six in the morning and it was freaking cold because it was raining. I was hesitant at first about taking a shower or not because it was really cold. After taking a shower, I told my brother to prepare some hot chocolate for me since I would not be eating breakfast and would only have hot chocolate and bread. I was about to go to the bus stop when the rain started pouring so heavily along with the wind, and I was scared about traveling on the misty road and in heavy rain.
At 8 am, I finally decided to finally go since the rain had started to disappear. When I arrived at the bus stop, it took me 1 hour to finally board the bus. I boarded the bus at 10 a.m. and arrived at our university at 11:30. When I arrived at our university, I felt like a newcomer or a freshman, looking everywhere, lol. There are lots of changes in our school. I miss the canteen, the lounge, and the green field. I headed directly to my purpose of going to our university. There I saw my old friends. These guys were still dumb and annoying. They had not changed in the least. I helped my boy friends with theirs because they were asking this or that and what to fill out the forms. I didn't stay long at our university, and when I was finished with my work, I said my goodbyes to my friends.
I went out of school at 1:30 pm and waited in the waiting shed again for the bus to arrive. My head is so dizzy and my tummy is rumbling, and everything in my body feels so tired. The bus arrived at 2:10 p.m., and when I got on, it was already full; what perfect timing, isn't it? I was standing for 20 minutes, I think because the lady in front of me had her stop and told me to sit where she had sat. I gave thanks to her and sat down immediately because I felt so tired and sleepy. I didn't notice the guy beside me because all I cared about was sitting and relaxing for a bit. I still had an hour before I arrived, so I took a nap.
I just woke up when I felt like someone was tapping my head. I didn't notice that I was already sleeping on his shoulder (Wattpad yarn?). He woke me up and told me that I was almost at my stop. I didn't know what to do. I was so embarrassed to the point that I kept telling him I was sorry for sleeping on his shoulder. I bet his shoulder hurts. LOL. He said to me that it was okay and, as far as I could tell, he was a good-looking guy. He was wearing a plain white tee and black jeans, and he smelled so good. When it was already my stop, I told him "thank you" and all he said was "no worries". While I was waiting for the bus door to open, I noticed the other guy at the back transferring to the seat where I had previously sat. My jaw dropped when I heard him saying "babe" to the guy who was beside me. Ghorl, he literally kissed his forehead. I was literally screaming internally when I saw them. I don't know, but I felt "kilig". They look so sweet because the guy who let me sleep on his shoulder is now sleeping on his boyfriend's shoulder. omg.

As Cold As The Fridge
I am a promdi guy and I came here to the city to study at my dream university. I'm with my mom today and we are currently looking for a small apartment for me to rent. I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth and my parents are just farmers in our province. We can't afford to stay in a dormitory, so we just decided to find an apartment that is good for the budget and also near my university. I am a scholar student, so I don't need to worry about my school expenses. All I have to worry about is my monthly allowance.
We arrived at this old four-story apartment where everything was so old; the paint, the stairs, everything was rusty. The landlord suddenly appeared out of nowhere asking us if we wanted to rent an apartment. He said that there was one vacant apartment on the fourth floor, and the former tenant who lived there left all of his things, including the washing machine, rice cooker, and refrigerator, so you don't need to buy new things, and it is so very cheap because we don't usually have student tenants here because they prefer a more crowded and busy street. After my mom heard those words that the landlord had said, she became interested, and then we decided to take a tour of the said room. It is indeed an old room, but it is still a nice place to stay in. It just needs a little bit of cleaning. The landlord showed us the bathroom, and I was surprised because it was very clean.
We then paid the landlord my first month's rent. He said I could just call him if I needed something. My mom then bid her goodbye after helping me find an apartment to stay in. My mom needed to travel 2 hours to our province, and she couldn't stay longer here because she still had a lot of things to do on our farm. When my mom left, I immediately cleaned my room. It looks old, but it isn't that dirty at all. I didn't do a huge clean in my room, so I just swept the floor and placed my bedsheet on the floor where I sleep. My room does not have a bedroom; it just has one room. The living room is my bedroom too. It was 7 pm when I finished putting all my school stuff away and cleaning my room. I suddenly felt a little tired, so I took a nap.
When I woke up, I looked at my phone and, to my surprise, it was already 4 am in the morning. I literally fell asleep for that long. As I was scrolling through my phone, I noticed that the refrigerator was open. As far as I can remember, I didn't open it when I arrived yesterday. That time, I just ignored it because maybe I really opened it and I just forgot. When I woke up the next morning, I noticed the fridge was open again, and this time I realized I hadn't opened it, so I went close to it and decided to close it. I went out to buy food for my dinner. When I walked past the house next door, I heard them talking about me. "Is he the new guy staying at that house? Oh poor boy, "did the landlord not tell him about the house?. I got curious about what they were talking about, but then I just headed off and pretended I didn't hear them. When I entered the house, I stared at the fridge for a sec and then went to the table to eat my dinner.
I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I took my toothbrush and toothpaste and started brushing my teeth. As I was brushing my teeth, I felt something sharp on my gums. When I spit, I saw blood on my toothbrush. I was holding a finger, a finger with long nails on it. How could it have turned a finger when I was sure it was my toothbrush? I was so shocked that I threw away the finger that I was holding. I looked at the mirror and then at the spot where I threw the finger. It was no longer a finger, it was back to my toothbrush. What the hell is happening here?
For the second time, I stared at the fridge again. I took my phone and set the alarm at 3:50 am to see if the fridge would open again. I have a feeling that everything that has been happening here is connected to this fridge.
BzZZz! I woke up at exactly 3:50 am and saw that the fridge had not opened yet. I waited for a couple of minutes for it to open. Then, at exactly 4am, I heard a click and then it started opening slowly. I really stared at it without even blinking. I heard a lady's voice start crying. She slowly got out of the fridge. Her body was cut in half and she was crawling slowly towards me. I wanted to scream and run for my life, but I couldn't move an inch as if I was paralyzed. She slowly approached me and I just lay there staring at her. Her face was full of blood and bruises. Her body was cut in half and the only thing she had was her upper part. "***Where is he?***" That was the only thing I heard her whispering through my ear before I passed out.
The next day, I told the landlord that the house was haunted and I would be moving out, but he said that he would give me the money back, but only if I found a new tenant to replace me. I searched the internet for information about the history of this place and about the girl in the fridge. Then I was shocked by what I found.
**A woman's body was found inside the refrigerator**. *The suspect was under arrest. A man was arrested after the body of his 26-year-old girlfriend was found inside the refrigerator. The body was cut in half. The upper part was put in a refrigerator while the other half was in a bathtub.*

Do you remember those times when you wake up early in the morning just to watch your favorite Disney movie, then your mom will make you a hot cup of milk or hot chocolate with a pancake on the side. Those are the memories of our childhood that we will never forget.
It is so sad to think that most kids nowadays are more focused on technology. I rarely see kids today watching movies because they usually get all their attention from their mobile devices. Way back when I was a kid, our TV didn't have cable on it, and it only had one channel, and cartoons and other kids' shows were only available every weekend. Every day, I always woke up early to catch my favorite. I always went to my cousin's place because their TV has many different channels on it. One of our favourite cartoons to watch is Puca, Upin and Ipin, and Phineas and Ferb. I should consider myself fortunate to have had those experiences.
As I was scrolling through my Facebook feed, I saw this post about the Disney Channel stating that they will no longer be airing in most Southeast Asian countries, and, of course, the Philippines is included. I was sad, to be honest because up until now I still watched Disney movies along with my nephews and nieces. And it also serves as our bonding time together.
From October 1, 2021, the Walt Disney Company has planned to stop broadcasting 13 Disney and FOX channels in the Philippines and certain Southeast Asian countries such as Hong Kong. As a result, pay-TV companies in the Philippines will be unable to broadcast these channels. Disney is concentrating its efforts on the internet streaming industry, and in order to better coordinate its resources, it is temporarily shutting down in the Philippines. **Let's take a look back at my most fave Disney childhood shows early in the morning.**
**Phineas and Ferb** are also considered my childhood buddies. I still remember knocking at my cousins' door just to watch it on their television. I'm not going to lie, I still remember their opening song and a few of their other songs. I even wrote it in my notebook, lmao. My cousins and I have even tried to copy some of their inventions, which is the dumbest thing we have ever done. I can still clearly hear Isabela's voice saying "Hi, Phineas. Whatcha doin'? " and also, Dr. Doofenshmirtz's voice and his inator thingy.
**Upin and Ipin**
I really like this cartoon because it is relatable and full of life lessons. Every kid can definitely relate to this movie. It shows different Asian cultures. They are a group of kids with different races and cultures. This isn't just entertainment for kids, but this will also teach kids life lessons and everything a kid should learn. Unlike other cartoon shows that are aired on TV and are not even appropriate for children. For me, this is one of the best.
**Kim Possible**
My childhood girl crush, lol. I really like how badass she is fighting those evil villains. My 9-year-old self was attempting to imitate her moves and style.LMAO.
**Gravity Falls**
Ah, yes. Gravity Falls is a show that is underrated. This cartoon is one of my favourites, not because of the animation, but because it is full of mystery. Given that I am a mystery fanatic, I thoroughly like watching this show. It contains a well-developed cast of characters, amusing humour, and a compelling plot. Throughout the show, there are numerous codes and clues you'll discover. There are people creating theories about this show.
It is so nice to take a look back at those childhood movies and shows that have a special place in our hearts. It makes us reminisce about those moments when we were kids, those times when we only cared about ourselves and the movies and characters we watched. Oh, what a good old day indeed. These childhood movies and shows will always have a special place in my heart.

Octobeer
How was your month of September so far? Did you have a great and blessed month of September? Time really flies so fast. Yesterday was September and today is already October. September really is a tough month, especially with the bloody value of the BCH that affects other people too, but so far it gives us an opportunity to save more BCH if the value is low, and when it pumps, the value will rise and so do your savings.
Since last month, I have already decided that I will no longer write down my goals every month, but instead, I will just go with the flow. And it really is a good idea because last month, I was surprised with what I had achieved on this platform. It was way more than I expected, and one of the reasons why I no longer set goals is that I don't want to pressure myself too much. I'll just accept what comes to me. Que Sera Sera, "**Whatever will be, will be"**
I feel so proud and happy about someone's achievement because they deserve it all. Seeing them makes me feel happy when they share their achievements from their hard work.
Oh, let's end this introductory part, and now, let's go back to the main topic of this month's first article.
Why OctoBEER ?
My cousins welcomed the month of October with a bottle of beer. Since my "Kuya" (older cousin) will be going back to the city tomorrow, they decided to have a drink with him for the last time. We aren't sure when he will be back, maybe if there is another occasion or family gathering. While they are enjoying their glass of beer, I am in the corner enjoying eating the "pulutan", since I don't drink alcoholic beverages. While they were talking, my other cousin played one of the "**Parokya ni Edgar**" songs, and then they started talking about the **Oktoberfest**.
They are always present at every Oktoberfest in Cebu, never missing an opportunity to join in the fun, knowing how much they enjoy drinking beer and partying all night.They reminisce about the last time they attended Oktoberfest, way back in 2018. How fun their lives were during that time without worrying about the flu, wearing masks, and social distancing. All they cared about that time was having fun and enjoying the night. Unlike today, where everything is done virtually and gathering in an open area with lots of people is not allowed here in our place. Social distancing is a must, and, of course, a facemask and face shield.

Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest is an annual beer and music event that takes place in October. Its origins can be traced back to Munich, Germany. Oktoberfest is a two-week-long celebration in Munich, Germany, that concludes on the first Sunday in October. The festival began on October 12, 1810, to commemorate the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig of Bavaria to Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen. San Miguel Oktoberfest was first held in the Philippines in 1982 and has grown from a one-night event to a week-long, nationwide event. From Luzon to the Visayas and Mindanao.

This is also one of the most awaited celebrations in the Philippines. Given that there will be unlimited beer and other drinks at the event, as well as local and international bands joining and performing at the said event, Parokya ni Edgar, Mayonaise, and other well-known local bands frequently perform at the festival. Last year, they held a virtual Oktoberfest since we are locked in a quarantine. And guess what? people still do enjoy having fun celebrating the oktoberfest virtually.
I guess this year's Oktoberfest will also be held virtually since we are not hundred percent sure if the government allowed celebratory events with lots of people gathered around.

Wait - I am a Millionaire?
**What would you do if you received $590k?**
$590K really is a huge amount, recognizing how significant that sum is. We will surely collapse if we see such a huge amount in real life. The first article I read about this one was @FarmGirl 's article What would you do with $590K, which caught the attention of other users too, including me. There's nothing wrong with aiming for that amount of money, right? Reading about other writers' ways of how they keep or what they would do with their money if they ever received such a huge amount is always interesting. Some prioritize their family first before anything else, which is one of the best things, and as for me, the family will always be my top priority.
**Here are the following things that I would like to do with this amount of money.**
**Build a House**
As I stated above, family is my top priority. Having this amount of money is more than enough if we convert it into our Philippine currency. And if it were converted, it would cost PHP29,980,850.00. I will keep 2.5M for our house's budget, and I think it is enough. If not, I can just add an amount to it since we are a huge family. We really need a huge house and rooms for my siblings as well. We are that type of family who loves to gather around if there's an occasion. So, a huge house really is a great place for us to hang out. Unlike our grandparents' house, it is a huge house, but if all of my cousins from the city came around, we would look like a sardine sleeping in our grandparents' living room. Typical Filipino family, lol. We also have land in the mountain area, and I am planning to build a rest house there because we occasionally visit that place if we want to unwind and feel nature's vibe.
**Business**
I really want to have my own business, which is a restaurant and a cafe. Having a cafe is one of my biggest dreams so far. Here at our place, we don't really have a cafe, and I want to be the first one to build a cafe. My theme for my cafe would be a manga cafe where you can read manga inside for free. You can choose which book you like best. I will invest 5 million in this cafe dream of mine. I am sure that it will grow knowing that people, especially teens, are coffee lovers, and our place is one of the richest provinces in Cebu with lots of Japanese people, so I can picture them having a cup of tea at my manga cafe. It is also an advantage for me to have and manage my own business since I am in the field of tourism and the hospitality industry.
**Donation and Charity**
I really promised myself that if I became a millionaire, I would help and donate to charity for those people in need and also for the animals. The first thing that I would do is to help the home for the agents, grandmothers, and grandfathers, who were abandoned by their families (not everyone). Then after that would be the orphanage and homeless people. These are the people who really need help, especially if they are homeless and do not have shelter. Lastly, there would be the animals. Stray cats, stray dogs, and other animals that were abandoned by their hoomans. If I am still able to make a shelter for them, then I would love to do it. Did you know that there are almost a total of a million cats and dogs being euthanized each year? Some were even burned alive because of the increasing numbers of stray cats and dogs everywhere. And imagine the pain those animals felt.
**Travel**
First, I want to travel to my dream places all by myself and enjoy hanging out with me, myself, and I. I just want to feel free and alive, lol. Then I will save 1 M for a trip with the whole family. We will, of course, travel first locally before going international. The first stop would be Palawan, then all the way to the top of the Philippines, which is the Batanes, where the mountains meet the sea. char. Then, as for international travel, we will travel all across Asia, America, Europe, and last but not least, Hawaii. (Aloha)
**Invest**
Half of the rest of my money will be kept in the bank and the other half will be invested in a trusted investment that will surely grow in the future.

I Can Still See Your Shadows In My Room

I was at the coffee shop where we first met and the place of our first date. I was alone while sipping my cappuccino at the right side of the window. While sipping my coffee, I recalled the day we first met: the day she walked in with a book in her hand, ordered the same thing as mine, and sat at the table in front of me. She's reading the book The Guardian by my favourite author, Nicholas Sparks. And to my surprise, I had read that earlier before she arrived. I was thinking if this was a coincidence or maybe we were destined for each other. I was smiling at myself, thinking those impossible things. Then I glimpsed at her. Our eyes met for a second and then she giggled. Well, what if she thinks that I am a weirdo?
The next afternoon, I went to the coffee shop again, hoping to see her. That day, I brought my copy of Nicholas Sparks's book, The Last Song. I put it in my usual spot and headed to the restroom for a minute. When I came back, there she was, with her lovely face standing at my table. She was holding my book and I guess she was reading the back of the book. I approached her. At first, I was hesitant to approach her because of her pretty face. Then, when I was about to say "Hi," she turned around at me and said, "*Uhm, I'm sorry for touching your stuff. Was this yours?*" As I heard her speak, I felt like I was hearing an angel calling my name from above. She had a beautiful, soft angelic voice. Then I answered her "*Uhm, yeah. Do you also like reading his books?* " Then we started talking about Nicholas Sparks' stories and books.
She told me that she was about to get a copy of that book, but sadly, they ran out of stock, so she wasn't able to get her copy. But I told her that she could borrow my book since I had already finished reading it. While we were in the middle of talking, the barista arrived with my coffee. She served us both cappuccino. She looked at me with awe on her face because we ordered the same coffee. And I believe that we really are meant to be for each other because cappuccino was also her favorite coffee flavor, which is also mine. Oh, destiny really favors me. While staring at her reading my book, I thought to myself that if God gave her to me, I hoped that she would be my end game.
I was taken aback by reality when my phone just vibrated. I looked at the screen and stared at it for a sec, then I packed up all my stuff and told Ted, my friend, who was a barista, that I will be going. I was walking down the pavement with a big smile on my face. Today is our 30th anniversary and I will also get to see her again. The last time that I saw her was last week, and after that, I patiently waited for this moment so that I could see her again.
I went to Auntie Ellie's flower shop to look for her favourite tulips. Aunt Ellie greeted me with a smile as I entered the flower shop and she then asked, "*A red roses for her, right?*" "I already prepared her favourite roses here." Then she handed me the bouquet of red roses. "*Send my regards to her*," she said, and then I bid my goodbye. While on my way to see her, I also bought a yellow balloon and a red tulip too. Yellow was her favourite colour, so I bought a dozen of yellow balloons. I went back to my car and then drove off to where she was.
When I finally arrived, I looked at myself first to see if I was looking good in my suit. I wore a suit because she enjoys seeing me in one and thinks it makes me look even more handsome. I stepped out of the car and took a deep breath, then started walking towards her. As I got closer to her, my tears started falling like a waterfall. When I finally got close to her, I put the balloons and her favourite tulips by her side. Then I handed her the red roses that I bought.
*It's been 20 years since the day that I lost you. Time flies so fast, it is already your 20th death anniversary and also our 30th anniversary. My love, happy anniversary. As I stated in my first article for the month of September **A Month Of Birthdays**, September is a month of birthdays for us since most of my family members' birthdays are in September, like literally every week there is a celebration. This day marks the day when our queen mother was born, our dearest grandma! This is why I was not that active yesterday and today because I was busy preparing everything: hays, perks of being a hotelier. LOL. Last night, all of us cousins gathered in the kitchen at our grandparents' house to prepare everything: the decorations, balloons, and all. It wouldn't be complete without a bottle of booze. That is why they are all so alive and kickin' because they are drinking while decorating. Hays, the typical cousins of mine.
**WARNING: LOTS OF PHOTOS AHEAD**
**The Preps'**
Last night was a fun night, even though I didn't drink any booze, but it was still fun hanging out with them. My cousin and siblings were preparing the curtain for the background, while my other cousin and I were preparing the balloons. Since we don't have a balloon pump, we just use our powerful mouths to blow all those balloons. I'm really good at blowing balloons to the point that my mouth almost gets swollen. XD
The first photo above was actually the first position of the curtain, but then we realized that when morning came, it would surely be against the light when taking pictures, so we just moved it to the other side, which is the second photo below, and it turned out well because of its wide space.
After decorating, they then proceed to their usual "*tagay*". They even buy more bottles of booze. These guys are crazy. I think they finished six bottles, including two The Bars. After they ran out of drinks, they switched to coffee. LMAO, they are all wasted and have started doing Tiktoks. Some of my cousins even lay down snoring. If only I could attach videos without the need to upload them on youtube, it would've been so hilarious.
**Let's Dig In!**
The first photo was from the time when we surprised the two of them. It was actually the plan of my aunt who was in Canada. She planned it all for our grandparents. I don't know if it is still a surprise since our grandpa expected this to happen already. Well, it's because he's already gotten used to being surprised lol. But it was all worth it because both of them cried. Grandpa thought that our aunt was inside the car and suddenly appeared. After those emotional surprises, we, the grandchildren, then yelled, "One Hundred!" LMAO *[mga dangan gyud kaayo.]*
Call me immature, but I was literally a bit sad because I didn't get one of these pretty cupcakes. I mean, I was the one who displayed it in the cupcake stand and I had been targeting this one. But when lunch started, I was just looking for something at the other house, but when I came back, it was already gone like a bubble. ROFL. BWAHAHAH
The only thing we didn't have was a videoke because our aunt wouldn't let us have one. She doesn't want this celebration to end up like our grandfather's birthday last year, where most of the people in our community were invited, and she's also worried about the covid thingy. That is why we only invite the people in our neighborhood and our other relatives.
But still, our uncle still found a way to sing. Instead of using a videoke machine, they just used a Bluetooth speaker and YouTube Karaoke. Big brain time! LOL
Still, everyone enjoyed it and they all had fun!

The countless things you've done and all the times you've been there have helped me realize how much you care about us, your grandchildren. Freewriting: Let The River Flow
Honestly, I really don't have a decent topic to write about for today, so I just let my fingers tap the letters on my keyboard and go with the flow. I also got this idea after reading Kuya Kudo's article yesterday when he wrote his freewriting piece and it came out pretty good. I don't know if mine will make sense because this topic that I will write about is just going to be too random, so let's just see how this thing turns out. teehee.
What is the matter with you? Why do you easily get so mad at yourself? You blame yourself for what you've become right now. You've reached a point where you can no longer find happiness within yourself. How quickly can you give up? Just because you fail once doesn't mean you'll be a loser forever. Everything happens for a reason.
Reason. There is always a reason why we fail. We may fail, but we also get to learn something from it. Our failures serve as our motivation and inspiration for doing even better.
Better. Better days are coming, and everything's gonna be better. Let's just have faith in ourselves and believe that we can do it. It doesn't matter how many times we may fail and how many times we try, as long as we see progress in ourselves and we're moving forward to achieve our goals in life.
Life. Life is a treasure and it is meant to be treasured. Life moves so fast, you'll miss everything if you don't know how to look around and appreciate what's around you. Live life to the fullest, do whatever you want as long as you're not hurting anyone. Do what makes you happy, and just don't make someone cry in exchange for your limited happiness.
Happiness. Happiness is everywhere and we can definitely see it if we know how to appreciate small things around us. Let's make the most of our time because we don't wanna wake up one day thinking how much we wasted or time thinking about all the negativity and being unhappy.
Unhappy. Let's not waste our time sitting in the corner, unhappy. Go out and see the beauty of the outside world. There are a lot of things to be happy about, let's move on and forward. Let's just be happy and throw out the negativity away. No worries, take it easy, just like what Timon said in The Lion King, Hakuna Matata.
Hakuna Matata. Hakuna Matata, which means "no worries" for the rest of our day. Let's not worry about everything, life can be tough sometimes, just rub it off and we'll get through it.

Hey there, what is up? What have you been up to right now?
For some reason, I wasn't able to publish an article yesterday. I was so busy, and this weekend is also going to be a busy one. My cousins from the city arrived last night, and right now we are starting to prepare for our grandmother's birthday. We already cleaned the house and everything. Last night I slept late because we had cousin bonding time. My Kuya only purchased two The Bars for them to drink, then we watched movies, a movie marathon with them. Though I have seen all the movies and sometimes I spoil them lol, I just hang along with them.

I've already seen and read other users' articles about their F's. The first article that I read about this F trend was an article by ate Farm Girl, then followed by other users too. This trend started a month ago, I guess? and up until now, I've still seen authors publishing their entries. I just decided to publish this one because I haven't written an article that was supposed to be published today, and luckily I still have this one and it serves as an emergency article LOL. Well, actually, this article has been sitting in my draft for like a week already, to the point that I already forgot about it. You know that feeling of writing lots of stuff every day and forgetting that you wrote something yesterday or the other day? And knowing me that I'm so forgetful... uh, why is it that I'm so forgetful but I couldn't forget him? ngee.
What The F's?
**Family**
I can say that I am lucky because I have a cool family and we are all close to each other. My siblings and I always have the same things we like. My older sister, me and our younger brother are the most closestone. We have so much in common, like the three of us like the same thing. We like anime and love watching movies. What one likes will also be what the other likes. We're all close to our mother. Sometimes my cousin and my friend get jealous because I have a cool mom. She always allowed us to hang out with our friends. I never heard her say "no." Since I am an introverted girl, my mom will sometimes push me to go outside and go wherever I want LOL. I remember the time when there was a fiesta in our town and all of my cousins were out, and I was the only one left at the house. My mom gave me some money and told me to go with my cousin or with my friends. Well, of course I accepted the money and just stayed in my room. LMAO.
Fun
Everything's fun when all of our cousins gathered together, even if there's no occasion, we just decided to hang out and talk random stuff. Every weekend, all of us are always gathering at our cousins' terrace, sometimes we do food trips or drink a little beer or something. My other cousin who is an only child was the one whowill always told us to have a food trip, he is also the one who buys the things needed, well he has a job and he's an only child so he doesn't have much priority. My cousins are the worst like they are all crazy and dumb LOL. They like doing stupid things, if we are all gathered together, there's no hour for you to not laugh, like for literally every second you'll laugh to the point that your jaw will hurt for too much laugh.
Fitness
Uhm, I wasn't that active when it comes to exercise, well, before I still remember waking up at 6 am doing my daily workout routine. That was the time when we still have no class, that is why I still have free time and can freely do my workout. That workout routine I did lasted about two months and I see changes in my physical appearance that time. But right now, I no longer have time to do workouts because of my busy schedules. My body started to go back to its old body again. Welp, I hope I can still be able to do exercises even just for a little. LOL
Friends
We rarely hang out together but we still are able to interact through messenger chat. And if there's an occasion we always tried our best to attend especially if it's a birthday. In that way, we get to hang out with each other. The last time I was with my friends was the time when we did a picnic at the top of the hill, I remember I wrote an article about it. 81st Birthday Of Our Boss, Amo, Manager
***Another number added to your age, but you're still awesome at 81.***
Yesterday was our cousin and Lolo, Ojiisan, Grandpa's 81th birthday. We only had simple celebrations with the whole family. We ate dinner with the whole squad. My cousin cooked pansit and chicken. We also ordered letchon manok and fish as per Lola's request, because she couldn't eat chicken and pansit. Pancit or pansit is a traditional Filipino dish. It is a type of noodles, and it can be cooked in a different style depending on what you like.
Lolo wanted to have a party on his birthday, but we couldn't because the grand celebration will be held this coming Sunday, which is our grandmother's birthday, and it's surely gonna be a huge celebration just like our grandpa's birthday last year. Our aunt told him that we couldn't have a party on his birthday, and he understood. It's not easy to convince him because he's gotten used to always having a huge celebration every birthday. He's kinda spoiled, hahaha parang baby eh.
Before we had our dinner, my other cousins already prepared 2 eggs because they were planning to throw an egg at the head of our cousin, who is also the birthday boy. I still wonder why people throw eggs at a birthday celebrant. I'm curious because I don't have any idea what the meaning behind those eggs thingy. lol. So, when our cousin was about to get his plate, my cousins then started throwing the eggs at him. They even joke that they will also throw eggs at our grandpa, but our grandma suddenly says "No". Then we all just laughed, looking at our cousin who was full of eggs. We don't dare do stupid things to our boss. HAHA sorry lolo.
After our dinner with the whole family, we gathered in the living room and our Lolo started sharing his story from when he was younger. He also told us about how naughty his children are, who are my uncle and aunt. My mama was the oldest and he told us how much he disliked my father. He really hated my father and didn't want my mother to end up with him, because my father was a womanizer and he didn't like seeing my mom cry every time she went back home to their house in the province. My father lives in a city and he's a city boy, so that's why lol.
The photo above was taken last year, a grand celebration. This was Lolo's 80th birthday, and that was me on top of the table setting up the balloons and the "Happy Birthday" letter. I was also the one who did the table set up, the skirting, and everything. Hays, the perks of being a hotelier, LOL. Every year there will always be a celebration for our grandpa's birthday. At that time, it was supposed to be held on the beach, but we couldn't because of the pandemic. Even though there were still some COVID restrictions, they still continued the celebration, but they already asked permission from our barangay captain and he was okay with it. Well, knowing Lolo was the superior of our baranggay, he was actually the president of our community, and all the people feared him, so he invited all. All, as in ALL the people in our community. But don't worry, at that time, there were no COVID cases in our community.
Lolo also invited the big people, or what we Filipinos usually call "***bigatin***" rich people. Our lolo really has a lot of connections. Most politicians, when the campaign starts, they never failed to always visit the house of our grandpa to talk about how to improve our place, and sometimes they share their platforms and ask our grandpa's advice if it's good. Every politician who is friends with my grandpa has a 90% chance of winning. Most of the people in our place trusted our grandfather. That's how powerful he is.
Last week, he made a study table for me because he knew that our class had already started. And now that he's getting older and lots of illnesses have started to appear, he still manages to act strong in front of his family. He is our true superhero. Happy Birthday! Ojiisan. We love you!

My Name's Blurry Face And I Care What You Think
Honestly, I thought of writing this one to brighten up my day, even if just for a little while. I really have been in a bad mood since yesterday. I don't know, my mind is blank or I've been over thinking lately, which makes me think of unnecessary things that aren't helpful. I've been overthinking a lot these past few days. That feeling when you're alive but dead inside? That is how I feel every day. I wake up with the same routine over and over again and it freaking kills me. I've been trying to find out what happened to me. I really don't know what seems to be the problem with me. Is it the people around me? The environment that I lived in? Or it is I, myself who is the problem? Why am I like this? Why do I have to end up like this? This isn't me.
Problems keep cropping up and it feels like our house is about to explode, just like my head. The financial problem really is the root of all the other problems, and it is one of the family problems. As much as I want to save to renovate my room, I couldn't. Because it all ends up in paying debts, their debts. I don't have mine. I don't like borrowing someone else's money. I only borrow if I really need it, or for an emergency only. Because I believe that having lots of debts is one of the reasons that you remain broke. You can't be successful if you keep on borrowing money. The more money you borrow, the higher and bigger the interest rate will be. I've been telling them to save some, even just a little penny or amount, because it will surely grow bigger if they keep saving little by little.
I guess I really need to face the reality that this is what adulthood is like. Where everything revolves around money. Money is everywhere. Money here, money there, money everywhere. I mean, we can prevent this, right? If only we were more mindful in our daily lives.
I've been out of my mind and I can't help but overthink every freaking time.
I wasn't like this. This isn't me and I wanna bring back the old me. The happy, cheerful and unproblematic me.
Sorry for this early-morning random rant. I woke up early today, and I heard them argue over finances, which is so stressful. Who wouldn't get pissed when the first thing you heard early in the morning was them arguing?
I just want to let this thing go, so I decided to publish this instead of the one that I have in my drafts. I was supposed to publish the one in my draft last night, but I was preoccupied then fell asleep.
Right after I woke up, I then grabbed my phone and plugged my earphones in with full volume, and listened to Twenty One Pilot and had my own peaceful world.

I've been reading articles since the morning and out of all the articles that I've read, there is still no idea that pops up in my head. Then I came across @Eirolfeam2 's article about This or That? Here's My Choice! . Since I don't have any topics to write about and writer's block is back again, So, why not try this trend too? I see it's pretty fun and interesting too. I know you're wondering about the title above, well I don't know either, my brain said that it should be my title for today. So, without further ado, let's get started with the questions I've selected.
**Pasta for breakfast or pizza for dinner?**
uhm, I'm not a huge lover of pasta, so I'll go for pizza. And also, I can eat pizza all day. I can literally eat a whole box of pizza, especially if it's a Hawaiian or all-pepperoni, which are my faves. I'll dig in immediately if you'll give me some. lol
**Eat the best steak or the best chicken?**
If you want me to choose between letchon manok or letchon baboy. Then I'll go for letchon manok. As much as I want letchon baboy, I will always choose chicken. I mean, the chicken has a different texture and softness than the steak. I easily got weary of the steaks, and munching on them was exhausting lol. It makes my jaw hurt, especially if it is cooked medium rare. No offense to those people who prefer their steak cooked medium rare.
**Have the best car or the best home interior?**
I don't care if I don't have a car or if I just commute for the rest of my life. But I want the best home interior design. Yup, I'm obsessed with having a nice and aesthetic interior. I'm okay with having a simple car though, and it's okay if you don't own a car. You know that you're simply helping reduce the pollution brought by cars. teehee
**Physical books or E-books?**
Who wouldn't want books, right? It's that addictive smell that makes a bibliophile obsessed with collecting more books. And I'm one of those addicted people. Even though I have read it already, I'm still gonna buy it though. Well, only if I still have extra money lol. I love collecting books and not reading them. Well, I'll only read it once, and then I'll keep it so that it won't be damaged. I don't want my books to be ruined. I sometimes open it just to smell the inside of it.
**Blue loving eyes or green sexy ones?**
owemji ate @Ruffa You're literally the first person that comes to mind right after reading the words "blue-loving eyes" and "sexy one". Why is that? hmm. ROFL. Honestly, I'm okay with both lol. I mean, green or blue, I'm fine with those.
**Meet Mickey Mouse or Dora the Explorer?**
Mickey, of course! He's one of my childhood buddies. And Dora? I don't think so. She's the reason I was dumber when I was a kid. She keeps asking where the thing is when it is obviously right in front of her. I still remember when I was a kid, I kept shouting at her that the ocean was just right behind her. It took me 3 shouts when she finally said, "You got it!" Who wouldn't get pissed by that?
**Live in a Hollywood film or an animation?**
Weebs' one and only wish was to teleport to the anime world. I don't consider myself an otaku or weeb, but I do really want to teleport to the anime world. I badly want to meet my husbandos and my fictional boyfriend. Oh, ouch. I just hurt myself with the reality that they're just fictional characters. Itai
**Fall in love with someone 30 years older than you or someone with the same gender?**

I love LGBT people and I do respect them, but it's just that I can't imagine myself in a relationship with a person of the same gender.

Underground Cult
I got this idea after reading @Codename_Chikakiku 's article, Feel The Fear, where he mentioned something about cults. And when I read the word cult, everything suddenly flashed back to the time when our place had an incident involving a group of cults. **What is a cult?**

These are a group of people who worship things in a sinister way. They create gods on their own and then they worship it. They are mostly an anti-Christ and a Satanist.
It was way back in March of 2014 when the cult leader was finally arrested. They've been doing it for a long time, but the police and other barangay officials couldn't pin it down since they didn't have proper evidence for that matter. Not until they finally raided the house of the cult leader. They really have done things disgustingly and brutally.
The cult leader was once a respected barangay official. In the Philippines, we have what we call "**Konsehal**", and he was once a Konsehal. Who would've thought that a respected person would do such stupid things?
People who believed in him saw him as the son of their god. They have their own god who they worship. And they worship their cult leader as well. They have a chapel underground. That's where they do their rituals. The chapel was just right under their house. Their house was located at the very top of the mountain, and it was the biggest house in their community. You can easily spot their house when you walk pass by near the mountain.
During their rituals, they will get a girl that will serve as their sacrifice and offer to their so-called god. They get their victims from other places; they mostly kidnap them. Some of those victims are those people who are so poor that they badly need money to provide for their families. They only offer girls and mostly virgins.
They believed that their cult leader could bring back dead people alive. That's why they give offerings to their so-called god.
The police had been keeping an eye on their leader and waited for the perfect timing. Then, one of their neighbors reported to the police that they had noticed suspicious activities coming from the house of the former Konsehal.
That's when they finally took action and raided the house of the former Konsehal. When they raided the house, all of the family members of the cult leader kept on playing pretend. They threatened to sue those people who trespassed on their property. They keep denying that anything peculiar has happened in their house. As the police searched the house, they noticed an unusual wall. The family member said that they'd just repaired the wall because it was broken. But the police aren't dumb enough to believe their alibis. They began to wreck the wall and, to their surprise, they saw the underground where the ritual happened.
There were bones everywhere, p*rn DVD's and s*x toys. They rescued a young lady who looked so exhausted and hadn't eaten for weeks because of how skinny she was. She said that she was used as a s*x slaved. There were actually 3 of them, but she's the only one left because the rest were being used as a sacrifice.
When they finally captured the cult leader. The only thing that he said is that he's only helping cure people who are in a verge of death.

I Can't Drown My Demons, They Know How To Swim
Missing: 23-year old boy
Height: 5'11 and was last seen yesterday.
He was a bright, tall, and attractive young man. He has always excelled in his studies and has always been at the top since he was a child. From kindergarten until university. In elementary school, he was valedictorian, and in high school, he received the highest awards. When you look at their family, you can tell they're just like any other happy family. If you look at their family photos, you'll notice that all of his siblings and parents appear to be happy, except for him. He was seated in the corner, attempting to keep his gaze away from the camera. There isn't a single photograph of him smiling at the camera. If you take a picture of him, he won't smile or even look at it.
He was the type of guy that would give you flowers and handwritten letters. The type of guy that will never put his hands against you. You can tell he has everything by looking at him: the face, the brain, and everything else. He is truly attractive because he has a good-looking face.
Everything was fine before his disappearance.
But then, before he disappeared, they were having an argument with his parents about a certain misunderstanding. Then he left their home without bringing a single penny with him. He only had his phone with him. At first, his mom didn't worry that much because she thought that his son might just go to a place to relax, unwind and cool down. But not until late at night, when he still hadn't arrived. That's the time when his parents start to worry about him because he's not home yet. The next day, they started to look for him.
His parents and siblings asked all of his classmates if they had seen their brother, but all of them had no idea where he went. It's been 24 hours and he is still nowhere to be found. His mom decided to post on every social media site about her son, hoping that someone might see him. They even look for him in other places and in the community. His mom was very worried about her son because she knew that he was not that talkative and was worried that something might happen to him.
The next day, they saw a Facebook post about a lifeless body of a guy

They still have no idea who the guy was because it was lying facing the ground. But everything was accurate, especially the figure of his body. At first, they were hoping that it wasn't their son. But not until the parents saw the actual photo and then burst to tears. They couldn't believe that their son would actually do things that way.
At his funeral, his mom received an email from his son and it was a scheduled email.

*Please don't think that it's your fault. It was all my fault. He's been pulling me down and I couldn't take it anymore. Every night, there were voices inside my head that always keeps me awake at night until 5 am. I always ask myself what seems to be the problem with me, but I myself don't even know why. I couldn't take it anymore. I want to rest.*
*I'm drowning, and I couldn't drown my demons with me.*
We can't really tell what the person has been up to, or what was going on inside their head. They may be good at pretending that they are fine, but the truth is that they're drowning inside. They need help and need to escape from the demons inside their heads.

Connection Lost
That feeling when you're in an intense game and you know that you're definitely going to win it, then suddenly it lags and then it pops up "**No Internet Connection**".
I can imagine the anger my cousins and brother felt when they lost the game because of the sudden internet loss. LMAO.

This is the reason why I wasn't able to publish an article and interact on both the noisecash and readcash platforms. It is because we forgot to pay our internet bill. Actually, I already gave my mum a budget for the internet, and I thought she had already paid for it. Then I found out that my sister borrowed the money that was for the internet. Now the line has been cut and we haven't had internet for two days, lol.
I was writing an article at the time when the line was cut. I was already in the middle of writing my article when the line was cut. I was so mad at that time because the 500 word article that I wrote literally vanished like dust. It didn't auto save since I didn't write it in the readcash drafts. Out of frustration, I closed my laptop without tuning it off.
But my anger didn't last for a second because I heard all of my cousins shouting in defeat because they knew they would surely lose in the game that they were playing. They are playing MLBB (Mobile Legends). I just laughed at them and told them "**mirisi**" in our vernacular language. I even heard my cousin say, "***We would've won the game.***" One of the reasons why they were so upset and overreacted to their loss was because their enemy was their rival from the other baranggay. They've been showing off who's cooler and pro at playing Mobile Legends.

Cousin 2 : ***"They surely celebrating right now and think of us as a loser"***
Cousin 3 : ***"Don't worry, we'll get our revenge and break them to pieces."***
I was laughing when I heard their conversations. Was losing to ML really a big deal? LMAO.
I sometimes turned it Off when I know that they're having an intense game then turned it On again and pretend that I didn't do anything. teehee
It's not that I'm a heartless or evil sister, it's just that I am happy that the internet was gone for two days. It's because there will be no more "*You have been slain*" or "*You have slain an enemy*" and noisy people shouting like they're having an actual fight with someone. Finally, I am finally able to meditate and sleep peacefully without hearing noises, lol. Who wouldn't get mad when, early in the morning until dawn, they are still playing Mobile Legends? These kids don't know how to sleep. Every night I always argue with them because they always shout when they are playing, and when I turn off the wi-fi, they will knock on our door. They won't stop until you open it. It's pretty annoying, isn't it?
The connection is back, now I'm back on track.

Team Laag: A Cousins Night
[**TEAM LAAG**] That is what we called our group, because, from the word "***laag***," a bisaya word for "***gala***," we really are the type of people who are always up for an adventure. My cousins are my best friends and travel buddies.
They planned to spend the night at our grandparents' "**Bahay Kubo**" home last Saturday. We had intended to travel to the beach first, but we were unable to do so due to the rising number of COVID cases in our area. So, instead of going to the beach, we chose to go up the mountain, because we hadn't been to our grandparents' bahay kubo in a long time. They had previously prepared all they needed that day early in the morning. Except for me, all of my cousins were prepared. I hesitated to join them because I still have a lot of articles to read and catch up on.
They decided to go when it was already 5 p.m., and it was beginning to get darker. My cousin's motorcycle and the motorcycle of my other cousin's boyfriend are the only two motorcycles they have. The five boys are simply going to trek all the way to the top of the mountain. The trek will take about 30-40 minutes. When my sister asked whether I would join them, I informed her that I might not be able to because I was in the middle of writing an article at the time.
I basically said I'd go if I could get this out before 7 p.m. My other cousin said he'd come after he cleaned his tank and fed his fish, and we'd go together. He came to our house at 6:50 p.m. to see whether I was going. I was hesitant at first because it was already late, and I knew it would be dark on our way to the mountain. I'm aware that there are no single lamp posts on the road and that there are numerous large trees. We're both afraid we'll run into a white lady on our way. LOL.
Because of how dangerous the road is, I was really shaking the entire time we were driving. On a motorcycle, it's just the two of us. We just keep talking, oblivious to the fact that we're both terrified, LMAO. My cousin just went full speed as we got to the stretch of the road where the enormous bamboo tree was placed, and I tried not to look behind us. If I looked closely, I could notice a white lady riding behind me. LOL. To be honest, we're both terrified, despite the fact that we're both adults. Imagine riding a motorcycle through a forest with no lights and massive trees all around you.
They had previously arranged all of the dishes on a banana leaf for us to eat during the boodle fight when we arrived. After our meal, my cousin purchased two alcoholic beverages only for the sake of refreshing. We then gathered outside the house to build a bonfire. We then talked about a lot of stupid things that we did as children. My cousins even told us about their drug experiences, which I blogged about the other night. I'm not going to lie, some of my cousins and even my older brother ****used to be**** drug addicts. You name all the drugs you know. They've tried them all. They were just teens at that time when they started using illegal drugs. They all agreed that the only thing drugs improve in their bodies is their propensity to overeat a lot. They felt extremely hungry after taking the drugs and feel as if they haven't eaten in over a month. My cousin's boyfriend, who was once a drug user, stated that using drugs assisted him in gaining weight due to overeating, which was the only benefit that the drugs provided him.

Hallucination is a typical adverse effect of drug use. People perceive things that aren't real and exist only in their minds. When he was in high school, my cousin told us about his experience. They were enjoying a blunt with their classmates at the back of the school building during class hours, before the afternoon class started. They didn't skip class, and after ingesting blunt, they went to their classrooms, where the effects of the drug began to take effect. When it finally made its way into his head, he began to see strange things. He then noticed a soldier with a pistol staring at him, but it was actually the teacher who was talking in front of him. My cousin was scared to get shot by a gun. So he got a gun and started shooting at his teacher. The world war began inside the classroom. He was holding a broomstick, which he thought was a gun, then he threw a grenade, which was a foot sock. After the incident, he was called to the principal's office. LMAO.

This cousin of ours shared the time when they were smoking at his friend's nepa hut. After taking a smoke, the two of them started getting high. Our cousin went out and stared at the sky. It was gray and gloomy, and it looked like it was going to rain any minute. Then suddenly the rain came. When my cousin looked at the sky again, he saw thousands of arrows going towards him. What he did was just evade all the arrows that were going towards him. He keeps evading as if it was real, when the truth is that it was just rain.
A Bunch Of Clowns
We observe a lot of drug users who are constantly smiling and laughing, as if they don't have a problem at all. They then admitted that they couldn't stop laughing because they couldn't stop themselves. When they witness someone else laughing, it helps them chuckle as well. The looks of other people they've spoken to are one thing that makes them giggle. It sometimes transforms into a clown, or it perceives someone who is recognized in their society as a hilarious guy.

Commonly Asked Questions For Honor Students. (charot)
I already got this idea after reading @kingofreview 's article about questions for honor students. Then I got to read @Eirolfeam2's article recently, which made me think of writing my entry too. char. I'm not brainy, just an average person. I just want to look back at those times and moments where I was still a very good student, arriving at school before the gates opened ROFL.
When I was in elementary school, I was constantly at the bottom of the class. In my elementary school year, it's quite difficult to get named to the honor roll because every single one of my classmates is a genius. I was in the Top 1 section, which had a lot of excellent pupils. I felt as if I had gone missing or that my grade card had been mistakenly placed with the exceptional students' cards. That's why, despite the fact that I know I'm not, I was listed as an excellent student. LMAO. From first grade to sixth grade, I never had the opportunity to be an honor student. I was always ranked eleventh. It's a shame that they only want the Top 10, but why can't they add the Top 11 so that I can be featured as well? LMAO
Highest Top?
The highest honor I've ever received was in ninth grade, and I couldn't believe I'd surpassed our second highest honor, which is also really competitive. I didn't anticipate to be named to the honor rolls because I knew I wasn't doing my very best at the time. I don't take part in class very much, and I'm always late. The first subject was practically finished when I arrived in the morning, lol. I even questioned myself whether I truly deserved the second honor spot because I feel like I'm just joking around with my schoolwork, like, literally.
Lowest Top ?
My lowest honor spot was when I was in tenth grade. From 4th place down to 7th place, I thought that I would no longer be included in the top lists, but to my surprise, I was still kicking in 7th place, but sadly, I'm no longer included in the whole grade 10 honor students. But, it's still okay tho. As long as I'm still included in the classroom honor lists and see my name in the honor roll. Then I'm okay with it.
Highest Average of all time?
I don't know, I already forgot what my highest average was. I really don't mind what my average was, as long as I passed, then that's totally good.
Pambato ka ba sa School niyo?
This is one of the most vivid memories I have from high school. To be honest, I enjoy science and consider it to be my favorite subject. I received the highest grade on our exam, and our teacher encouraged me to participate in the science fair, which is a quiz bee. I was completely worried out because I was messing with my answers. I didn't take it seriously. I'm unable to quit because our teacher has already included my name on the participant list. Then he handed me a massive science book to study, and I was like, "*What am I going to do with this?*" He gave me three days to prepare, and all I did was act like I was reading the book he handed me. I won't be able to read it all.
May ka kompetensiya ka ba?
To be honest, during my high school years, I was the most competitive. But I have this one friend. We're buddies, to be sure. She is competitive, and I am as well. In normal life, we're best friends, yet when it comes to academics, we're rivals. I vividly remember being irritated with her when I asked her what her response to number 7 was, and she claimed she didn't know, when the truth was she already knew. Then, when she asked me what the question at number 2 was all about, I told her that I didn't know the answer, exactly like she did to me. Isn't that what friends are for? LMAO

To tell you honestly, the word review was not in my vocabulary. I don't study at night or review; I only depend on my stock knowledge, lucky if I have some stock left.

Does your parents compares you to others?
Academically? Nope, my mom just lets me do what I want. She doesn't force me to be on top. I was lucky because my mom wouldn't pressure me about my grades or acads. I used to tease her and tell her I had a grade of 3, and I just laughed at her reactions.
I'm not trying to brag, but I WAS ONCE an excellent student. A student who arrives before the school gate opens. But when I entered ninth grade, everything changed. Those were the days when I learnt to skip classes and jump over the school's rear fences. Despite the fact that our house was approximately five steps away from our school, I was always late. I only get up when the flag ceremony begins, and I only go to school after the first subject is nearly done. I'm an Alpha Kid. HAHAHA

How To Get Rid Of Canker Sore
This has been bothering me for the past three days. I merely ignored it at first because it was so small and didn't itch all that much. I used to dabble with it with my tongue every now and then. But the next morning, when I awoke and went to get a glass of water to gargle, I sobbed because it was so painful. And the more I gazed at it in the mirror, the bigger it got. I couldn't eat since everything I ate pained my mouth and made me feel even worse.
**So, what is a Canker Sore?**

Canker sores, also known as aphthous ulcers, are small, shallow lesions that appear on the soft tissues of the mouth or along the gum line. Canker sores do not appear on the surface of your lips; instead, they develop inside the mouth, on the gums, and are not contagious. ****What triggered Canker Sore?****
1. A little mouth injury occurred. We bite our tongue and the soft portion of our mouth by unintentionally on occasion. It then leaves a small wound, which develops into a canker sore.
2. Brushing your teeth excessively to the point where it hurts your mouth
3. Sensitivities to certain foods, such as spicy foods, sweets, coffee, nuts, eggs, or acidic foods
****How to get rid of it and what treatments are needed?****
Way back when, I had several treatments for my canker sore. I tried everything just to get rid of my canker sore, no matter how painful it was.
These are the following treatments that I've used and tried.
Honey

When I was a kid, my mom used to put honey in my mouth whenever I was in pain with a canker sore. She sometimes let me have at least four spoons of honey. Though it is sweet, I kid you not, it's the worst of all. It's so painful to the point that I started hating honey. The use of honey is that you just need to put some of it on the area where the canker sore was and gently apply it. It is truly painful, but you have to endure the pain if you don't want to suffer or have difficulty eating for a week.
Tawas (Alum)

For me, this is not that painful at all. Well, maybe because I've gotten used to this already. *Tawas, or Potassium Alum*, is a white powder and is most commonly used as underarm powder. It is also used as a protection for "*kili-kili power*". This has a lot of usage, sometimes in feet. But it can also be a great cure for canker sores. You will need a cotton bud to scoop up a small amount of powder and gently apply it to the canker area. I suggest that you have to put *tawas* twice or thrice a day for fast healing.
Baking Soda or salt.

The baking soda has the same effect as the tawas, so they're like the same. All you have to do is to add a small amount of baking soda and a cup of lukewarm water. You just have to gargle using the mixed baking soda and water. But if you don't have baking soda, you can definitely use salt as a substitute. They're both the same and effective. But if you want fast healing, take a small amount of baking soda and put a little bit of water to make a paste and stick it in the area of the canker sore. And if you think that it's too painful, then you can have the other one, which is lukewarm water with salt or baking soda.
****How to prevent having canker sore again?****
**Make healthful dietary choices** - Consume enough of fruits, veggies, as well as the whole carbs to avoid nutritional deficits.
**Be mindful of what you eat** - Avoid eating foods that can irritate your mouth especially spicy and acidic foods and fruits.
**Maintain proper dental hygiene** - Brushing your teeth after meals and flossing once a day can help keep your mouth clean and clear of things that can cause a sore. To avoid irritation of fragile mouth tissues, brush with a soft toothbrush and avoid toothpastes and mouth rinses containing sodium lauryl sulfate.

All That I Want Is To Wake Up Fine
People wishing to kill me has been recurring in my dreams. Every dream I have involves this individual attempting to murder me, I always end up getting killed. In my nightmares, I occasionally see those nice people from my neighborhood, but they all want to kill me, just like in my other dreams. I'm not sure what this dream is about, but to be honest, I have a lot of dreams in which seemingly innocent and nice people in real life morph into murderers and psychos in my dreams.
Isn't it a little strange?
I'm going to tell you about some of my dreams that I still recall vividly. It's strange because out of all the dreams I've experienced, these horrible and brutal dreams stand out the most and won't get out of my head.
NOTE: THESE ARE JUST MY DREAMS, NOT IN REAL LIFE.
**Uncle, Why?**
We were outside of their house playing tug of war with their daughter when he called us in for some refreshments. His wife, who is my aunt by blood, and my cousin arrived while we were munching. They had just returned from a shopping trip. They just grinned strangely at me, and I just smiled back. I was only a child at the time. We were outside playing when he appeared, holding a knife. At first, I assumed he was merely looking for something, but then he approached me with an odd smile. I was at a loss for what to do. I began to get alarmed because his innocent features had transformed into sinister ones. He swung the knife towards me as he got close, and all I could do was run. I called my aunt to help me, but she just smiled. I begged them to help me, but they were just all laughing at me. I was hiding in the back of my aunt's house from him when all of their hands grabbed me and yanked me away. Then he slowly thrust the knife towards me.
**A Bullet In My Brain**
This dream that I had before is still fresh in my mind.. My mom told me to buy some ingredients in the store, while on my way there. I saw this guy wearing a black hoodie standing right beside the banana tree. His arms were crossed and he lent a little to the banana tree. I didn't mind him since I didn't have any idea who he was, so I just continued to walk towards the store. I bought everything my mom told me to. After I got everything I needed, I went back to our house. When I walked past the banana tree, the man was still there standing. I ignored him again, then I suddenly heard him calling my name. When I was about to turn around to look at him, I heard a gunshot and I just found myself lying on the ground.
I haven't seen what he looks like.
The reason why I keep having these weird nightmares is because of the following:

***Stress***
***Anxiety***
***Depression***
As I grow older, these types of nightmares showed up quite often.

She was used as a mule to smuggle the drugs back to their home by the Taiwanese businessman, Mr. Jang.

Just An Ordinary Day
It's so unusual for me to wake up early since I always get up late in the morning. I usually wake up at 10 in the morning. But this morning, I woke up early. Who wouldn't wake up early when someone is already knocking on your door at 4am? The continuous knocking on our door wakes me up, because none of my siblings want to wake up and open the door. I didn't have a choice but to get up and open it. When I opened it, there was my nephew. He always comes to our house every morning to borrow my mother's phone and play with it. I think it is his morning routine LOL. I just told him that mom isn't around because she's at the hospital accompanying my older sister because she's about to give birth.
So, I woke up at 4am and I couldn't fall asleep again, so I just decided to pick up my phone and read some articles.
At 7am, I decided to do laundry. I just put all the shirts in the washing machine. At 9am, I cooked and fried some fish for our breakfast. It's almost 10 am and my siblings are still asleep. Mostly, we eat breakfast at 10am since we have already gotten used to it. I didn't wake them up, I just continued doing what I had started. After cooking, my brother woke up and we got to eat breakfast together. I told him to wash the dishes and he couldn't say no to me since I was the one who cooked breakfast and did the laundry. While the washing machine is rolling, I also check my readcash and read some articles so that I won't be loaded with unread articles.
My mom then arrived from the hospital. We were so excited about seeing the baby girl of our older sister, but we were disappointed because it turned out to be just a false alarm. I was like, "***Where's the baby***?" Then my mom answered, "***Nah, false alarm.***" LOL. We are so excited because it will be my sister's *unica ija* because all of her kids are boys and they always wanted a baby girl.
At 11am, my older brother finally got out of his room and the first thing he asked was "***ano ulam***?" Hays..
So, when my older sister woke up, I gave her the laundry job since it was all of her uniforms. HAHA. Then I just sweep and mop the floor afterwards. I even almost forgot to water the plants. My mom will activate her machine gun if I ever forget to water her lovely plants. Her favorite children.
When I'm finally done with everything, I then take my laptop out and read a lot of articles. I was so busy reading articles to the point that I forgot I hadn't written a new article for today. So, this is the result of not writing a back-up article LMAO.

Y'all know the feeling of struggling with writers' block? Where ideas are floating everywhere, but a single letter or word can't get inside of your head. You couldn't construct a whole word and put it in a sentence. We are all experiencing this one. That is why I am always thankful when a new prompt comes in. Adulthood. When I was young, I really thought that adults were cool because they had jobs and could earn money. They can literally do whatever they want in their lives. But right now, I don't know if it's still cool tho.
****Which charity or charitable cause is most deserving of money?****
Orphanage and abandoned pets. They all deserve a huge amount of money to support and help the kids and abandoned animals to live a happy and longer life. Well, all charities that focus on people's lives, especially children, deserve support.

As with what @Kristofferquincy chose, I'd also go for Morgan Freeman. The way he narrates and speaks every word, it sounds so perfect and relaxing. I believe he's known as one of the best narrators in every movie. I always find his voice so soothing to my ears. It's so relaxing that it feels like I'm listening to the radio or a podcast.
****How do you judge a person?****
I don't usually judge someone, but if I do, I judge them by their actions and gestures. Especially when I see a girl acting like a new person when a guy appears in front of them. ew. LMAO
****What goal do you think humanity is not focused enough on achieving?****
"**Making The World A Better Place**" LOL, people are funny asf. WE ALL ARE. We kept telling ourselves to make the world a better place for the next generation, but what did humans do? We are still doing things that ruin the beauty of our mother earth. Honestly, the other side of me was thankful that the lockdown happened because, even for a few weeks, it helped heal our planet.

I just watched this recently. I find it interesting and cool at the same time because of how the kids manage to get into their schools. Imagine, at that young age, they are all ready doing things that are supposed to be the work of adults. They do everything just to get to school, rowing a little canoe on a huge river just the three of them. I was truly impressed with these girls. They show how brave they were.

5 Years Of Celebrating Father's Birthday Without Him
Yesterday was my Otosan's birthday or my father's birthday. It's been 5 years since he left us and went to the safest place. We just prepared a simple celebration and we had dinner all together with our family. Our oldest sister and her family came over to celebrate our father's birthday. My sister asked me if I would go with her to the cemetery, but I declined. My mom even scolded me about why I didn't go to the cemetery. I haven't visited him in a long time. The last time I visited him was at the time of his first death anniversary, and until now I still haven't visited him. All of my siblings forced me to go with them, since all of them went to see my father's tomb, but they failed to force me. I was left alone at home reading articles lol. I know you're wondering why I acted like this.
When they finally came back, I prepared the dinner and everything. We just had a little argument with my mom because of my dumbass nephew, but it didn't last and we just acted like nothing happened and continued the celebration. We all had fun talking about my father's funny days when he was still alive. I can still see my mom's reactions to the way he shares their story about how they met each other. She said that our father was a guitarist and a band vocalist before. [Now I wonder where I got these traits of being easily attracted to a band member and a guitarist.] LMAO
Everything went back to the time where I woke up hearing his breathing. It felt like he had run out of air. That was the most traumatizing moment of my life.
I was the one who witnessed and noticed him breathing heavily since all of them gathered at our grandpa's house and I was left alone in our room sleeping peacefully. My father was in the other room. He's a PWD. Half of his body was paralyzed and he's been suffering for 5 years already.
I still remember I was in grade 5 back then when my mom picked me up from my school. We were having a lecture at that time when my mom told my teacher that I would skip class for that time. He picked me up because I would be the one to look after my father since no one would be left at our house. I can't help but wonder why me? My sister was a high school student back then. I kept asking myself why it always had to be me. I was just a kid back then when I became my father's caregiver.
When I was in grade six, my friends wanted me to go with them. As much as I wanted to hang with them, I couldn't because I would be the one to look after my father. But my other siblings can freely go wherever they want. When I started high school, as far as I can remember, it was lunch time and we will be having a quiz later, first subject in the afternoon. I went home since the school is just right next to our house. When I opened the door to our house, everything was a mess. It looks like our house has been robbed. No one was there except my father. My mom couldn't stay at home because she had a lot of work to do. I don't have any other choice but to skip class. I still need to feed him and clean up the mess. I can't just leave it all like that. You know that half of his body was paralyzed as well as half of his brain. So, you know that he's not in his right mind. And sometimes he'll act like a kid.
I know that it's my responsibility because I'm the daughter, but I just can't help but think that I have siblings too. Why does it feel like all the struggles and everything is dumped on me?
When I woke up, I heard him breathing heavily. I got up immediately and headed to the room. I saw him there breathing heavily. I asked him what was wrong and he just asked me where mom was. I began to panic and shouted my mom's name outside since I heard them talking at my grandpa's house. Then I didn't know what was happening since I just literally woke up. I just saw an ambulance and they put my father on a stretcher. Everything went fast forward and I saw everyone panicking.
He was comatose for a week, then days after, we received a message that he was finally free from all the suffering he had carried for 5 years.
I felt a little relieved while typing this. I haven't told anyone about this, not a single one :>

When you hear the word "Beauty", what is the first thing that pops up in your head?
Women all throughout the world have their own interpretations of beauty and its actual meaning. Not every woman adores her body, and not every woman has the ideal physical look. In today's society, many women believe that having narrow hips, a large butt, clear skin and a seductive figure is the ultimate definition of beauty. It's been compared to the replication of a Barbie doll by others. In someone's eyes, everyone is attractive, but more women are concerned with their own personal vision of beauty. Many women want to look like the women they see on screen or in the media. People mistakenly believe that this is how everyone in today's culture views beauty's potential, however it is not. Women experience pressure, body dissatisfaction, and eating disorders as a result of the impossible-to-achieve standard of beauty.
Art, the sky, the ocean, people, and even you. You're beautiful and everything has its beauty. But, is it true that pain is beauty? We are in a new generation where everything revolves around technology. We've seen people doing surgery on themselves, buying expensive products for the sake of beauty, and it's okay because we see them satisfied and happy with the outcome of what they've become. "*Let them do things they like as long as they're not hurting anyone.*" But the question is, are we sure that we're really not hurting anyone? The lipsticks, foundation, and all the make-up products that we bought and use for ourselves. How sure are we that those products aren't hurting any living creatures?

For us, pain is never permanent, but for animals, **it kills them**. Before we use the products and cosmetics that we apply to our faces, animals, especially rabbits, are the ones who will be sacrificed in exchange for our beauty. More than 100 million are bred, utilized, and discarded as hazardous trash each year as a result of research and product testing all across the world. Millions of animals are used, abused, and used without the use of any anesthesia. They put toxic and hazardous materials on them. They put them on their eyes and bodies, and they were also forced to inhale them. It's so sad to think that millions of animals are killed every day just for our pleasure and self satisfaction.

That is why let's all be mindful of the cosmetic products that we consume and use. It's better to buy friendly cosmetic products and brands that do not test animals for their products. In that small way, we help lessen the numbers of those other animals that were sacrificed everyday.
Is this really the definition of "***Pain is Beauty***"? Beauty for us, but pain for animals.
