Hey everyone! What's up? Yes, I've been out for more than a month already and I'm not kidding, I really miss you all in here and I truly miss writing and joining with the new article trends. I've been so busy for the past months which made me not able to interact in here and publish an article. And to those people who are still with me, thank you for staying. You guys are the best! I would still love to be active once again and interact with you guys! See you around ;)

Where Have I Been? `040702022` Hello there, my dear read cash buddies! It’s been so long since my last appearance on this platform. It’s been a week, I guess since I published my last post here. I do hope that you guys will still support me even though I am inactive on this platform. But you know, most of the time that I am inactive here, it’s mostly because I am busy with my personal life, to the point that I could not explore other sites and apps on my phone because I was only busy with emails and messages.   I am so very busy, like literally. The school year is almost ending and we are busy with our internship that will be in the next few months. If you think that we are going to be excited about the school break, well, we don’t have a school break. It’s because we will be having a summer class. It is also called "*bridging*" where we will be taking a class for certain topics and subjects that we haven’t had in high school. It is necessary for us to take that class because we will not be able to proceed to our "*ojt*" on-the-job training if there is a missing subject that we haven’t taken, so it is a must.   I returned to the university several times because there are numerous activities that must be completed on campus. It is totally fine for me, but the problem is that the bus fare is quite expensive due to inflation, which is a waste of money because I’ll be riding a bus twice back and forth every time I go to the university. Sometimes I get lucky if the "*kuyang conductor*" forgets to ask me for the bus fare, lol. Well, it happens to me most of the time, or maybe they know but they just let me since most of the conductors on every bus that I have ridden are already familiar with me.   Last Thursday we had our food innovation presentation inside our HM laboratory, and we also had to defend what our innovative product is. So again, I went to my groupmate’s place and stayed there for a day in order for us to be able to practice our food innovation. Honestly, we aren’t ready yet for that time because we haven’t done some trials of our product and we only did the first trial the day before the final presentation. But, thankfully, it turned out great, because the first trial was a total disaster for us, because we weren't using the exact measuring tools, and it wasn't even the exact measurement. LOL. But during the presentation, the panelists loved our innovative food since we paired it with a cup of coffee. I’ll be sharing what our food innovation was and publishing it here. Maybe some of you here will love to make some.   After presenting our food innovation, we went to the hotel to practice making beds for our NCII. And yes, it was an exhausting day and I only had 3 hours of sleep at that time and I was not even able to take a bath because there was no water. LOL. But I do still look good, though. *Flips hair*   It was another stressful day for me, and there will also be another stressful day ahead. In fact, this Monday, I told our instructor that I would be absent because of my period cramps when the truth is that I was just tired of going to the university and I just reasoned out that I was not feeling well because of my period. LOL. I give random reasons whenever I feel like I’m not in a mood. LMAO. Lead Image https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/cimorelli/images/2/20/WHYB.PNG/revision/latest?cb=20130604191346 Sorry for subjecting you to yet another random nonsense post of mine. But, I do really appreciate your presence here. ***Thanks for passing by!*** ***Stay hydrated and stay safe always!*** ***See you around :>***

@Jinifer

I Wonder What's on your Mind; Random `0270602022` Happy Choose Day lovelies! It's a great first day of the week and a busy start to the week for me. How's it going? I do hope you guys have a great day and a great week ahead!    This week is going to be another busy week for me, especially in the next few days in the month of July. Last week I was at our university, and I stayed there for a day because I worked at our university's hotel front desk. My previous write-up was all about how my day went when I was on duty in our school's hotel. I've been very busy these past few days, and I've also been traveling twice or thrice a week to go to university. Since I'm a bit far from our university, I always have to commute on a bus on my way to the university. I've gotten used to it already because I've been traveling a hundred times, but it's still too tiring for me to go out and ride on a bus, especially waiting for the bus to arrive. Aside from that, I hate waking up early. Lol.    So yesterday I went again to the campus to participate in our training for our NCII, which is a very great opportunity for us because having an NCll is a great thing to have, especially when applying for a job. What we're training for is housekeeping, since I majored in Hospitality Management, and it will be a great benefit for me in the near future. We are trained on how to master bed making in a short period of time because it is the most important part of housekeeping in the hotel industry. And to tell you the truth, it is not an easy peasy kind of job, especially if you're a small person just like me. It is not easy to lift a bed all alone using only one hand because we're not allowed to help each other, so we have to do it all by ourselves. In a hotel room, the beds are always double, and they are quite heavy too, especially if you're lifting them with only one arm.   The bed is heavy, the blankets are heavy, and even the bed sheets are quite heavy, and we're not only using one bed sheet but we're using three heavy bedsheets. We also have to master how to throw the bedsheets properly so that they will perfectly fit into the bed in just a single throw. Last Monday, our instructor for that training was not around, so he told our department chairman to be in charge of looking for us. Our instructor and our chairman are literally the opposite, because our instructor is bubbly and easygoing and loves to make jokes at us, while our department head is very strict and very professional. He is handsome but very professional, as if it's too rare to see him laugh. He looks exactly like one of the artists here in the Philippines, Ronnie Alonte. If you know him, then you can probably picture what our chairman's face is like LOL.     After we were done with our training, we were about to head into our HM laboratory for our food innovation performance, where we have to perform what our food innovation is. We literally are not ready to present to everyone what our product is because we're not yet ready and prepared. Then, thankfully, our food innovation instructor was also not around because he's not feeling well, so he moved the date to Thursday, and that gave us time to prepare our product and make everything ready. We went out to the campus at exactly 12pm. Usually I would always go home after the training, but I chose to stay at my groupmate's house for a while to think about our product, but I ended up not doing a thing. We bought the ingredients that we were supposed to make that day, but we didn't because we were too busy strolling around the street and buying and eating foods that our eyes craved.   I stayed at my friend's house until 4 pm, and we literally hadn't done anything for our product because the three of us were just chit-chatting all day. I decided to go home at 5 pm and I arrived home at almost 7 pm because there were a lot of passengers all the way that made the bus stop for like every 5 minutes. But I was able to arrive home safely.  *And tomorrow, I'll be going to the campus again, and again and again and again. Urgh!* Lead Image https://media.istockphoto.com/photos/what-is-on-your-mind-picture-id660553766?k=20&m=660553766&s=612x612&w=0&h=KrkoyOhRNmxPyBCkXuCSnw3xpsfdRvN59KV3-Di9uoc= ***Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate your presence here.*** ***Stay hydrated and stay safe always!*** ***See you in my next blog!***

What does it feel like to be a hotelier? `0260602022` Hello there, my dear read cash buddies.Happy Sunday! How's it going? I hope you guys had a great weekend and spent your whole weekend with your loved ones. As for me, I was a little busy yesterday because I had some work to do, and this is also the reason why I was not able to publish an article yesterday because of my busy schedule. I was also not able to hold my phone and surf the internet because there is a CCTV right next to me and I might get reported to the Dean, so I just chose not to and just do my work.   So, the reason why I was not able to publish an article yesterday is that one of my professors sent a private message to me asking me if I was available to work that day and if it was okay for me to work during that time. When I read my professor's message, I didn’t hesitate and accepted my teacher’s request to work that day. He asked if I could work at the front desk because there would be guests who would check-in and stay in the hotel for days. The hotel was our university’s hotel. We have a hotel inside the university where guests or visitors could stay if there is an event at our university. And also, so that they will no longer look for any apartments or hotels nearby if they need a place to stay. And aside from that, the rates are very affordable and the guests can lower their expenses.   Our professor reminded us to arrive early at 8 in the morning because we still need to clean each room as well as the beds and everything in the hotel. But I arrive at 10 am, meaning I am 2 hours late, not just late, but very late. When I arrived, my other classmates were already done with their work and everything seemed to look clean. That means that they are already done with cleaning and everything. When our prof saw me, he was not mad at me nor scolded me. Instead, he just teased me and made fun of me, not in a bad way but in a funny way that I myself was laughing too. He didn't mind if I was late because I would be working at the front desk that day, and he knew I would be exhausted later that day.   Actually, it was only the three of us who were working in the hotel that day, and we were the only ones who received a direct message from our prof. That means he trusted us and that we were capable of doing the assigned task.   We thought that our working hours would be from 7 pm to 8 am, but little did we know that it would be from 1 pm to 8 am. Our prof had just tricked us. Lol. After lunch, we had already prepared our service uniforms and went to our designated area. I and my other classmate were at the front desk entertaining the guests and answering their concerns, while the other was at the main entrance greeting the guests and taking their luggage and bags. Our guests at that time are not just ordinary guests because they are the school division supervisors and principals in every school in Cebu and even a high-class attorney and a Deped doctor, who are the VIPs that day.   Each of them had a lot of issues, but I was able to assist them out and alleviate their worries. But there are times when I am irritated. Well, I know I'm not the only one who is irritated by something that might have been averted and avoided. What irritates me is that some guests take their room keys with them and refuse to hand them over to me because I am at the front desk. When they arrived, they will ask for their room keys, which they have with them, and then claim that they don't have them. LOL. That was the only thing that irritated me that day.   It was a tiring but fun experience. What makes me like it, even more, is that we have unlimited coffee and snacks, so we can have a coffee and grab a snack if all of the guests are not around. Though it was a sleepless night, it was a great experience for us to interact with high-class individuals. *Took a quick shot before going home lol* *Location: Comfort Room LOL* Lead Image https://cdn1-production-images-kly.akamaized.net/xpo12BklMsEhh-KNFRUKw3GWyrs=/640x360/smart/filters:quality(75):strip_icc():format(jpeg)/kly-media-production/medias/1990977/original/056966900_1520934086-ilustrasi_hotel_iStock_3.jpg ***Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate your presence here!*** ***Stay safe always.*** ***See you in my next blog!***

60 Years of Love: To Infinity and Beyond `0240602022` **TGIF** *What a great day for my lovely read cash buddies. How's it going? I hope you guys have a great day ahead.*  *Do you believe in forever?* *Does true love really exist?*  *Have you ever pictured yourself being with someone for the rest of your life?*    For me, I strongly believe that true love and forever truly exist, and my grandparents are the living proof of what forever truly is. They say that nothing lasts forever, but I doubt it's not. Most people say that nothing will last forever when it comes to love. It's because of the traumas and heartaches that they've experienced from falling in love with someone whom they think they can share and spend their lives forever. But we all know that love doesn't always go as planned. Love isn't always about *till death do us part* and *happily ever after*; it can also bring us heartbreak and realizations that help us grow as individuals and become a better version of ourselves.   As you have read the title above, my grandparents just celebrated their 60th year of marriage last June 20. The celebration was held on Sunday to also celebrate Father's Day. It's so nice to see a couple that have been together for so many years. And as I grew older, I witnessed their love and care for each other, and the way they took care of each other didn't change and fade. Their relationship gets even stronger as they grow old together. They really hold on to their vows "*till death do us part*". And I am impressed at how they were able to overcome the ups and downs of their relationship all these many years. Their relationship and love is one of the reasons why I always thought to myself that if I ever fall in love, I want to make sure that I end up with someone with whom I can spend the rest of my life with.   60 years of marriage is indeed forever. Last year, what we really planned for our grandparents' wedding anniversary is that they would have their wedding again in the church and recreate those memories of their first wedding just like how they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary or their golden wedding anniversary. They will once again walk down the aisle of the church and vow to God. On their 50th wedding anniversary, it was one of the grand celebrations in town where all of the people in our place were invited and even our neighboring places. Both my grandparents are well known in our place and have also made a lot of contributions to our place. Both of them are "one call away" from the people in town. Their golden wedding was also one of the most precious and memorable moments that our family will forever treasure.    The plan that we had for their 60th wedding anniversary didn't work out as planned. It is because of what happened to our grandma where she was hospitalized for more than a month and was bedridden. But still, that doesn't stop them from celebrating their wedding anniversary. We decided to just have a celebration in the house and celebrate with the whole family. While I was busy with the decorations and fixing the balloons, my grandma asked me what the decorations were for. I paused and then smiled at her and told her that it was for their 60th wedding anniversary. And her eyebrows arched in confusion and she asked, "Who's wedding anniversary?" I just looked at my grandma and smiled at her. Then I asked her when was their wedding anniversary. She just answered me with "I don't know, ask your grandpa" and then I just laughed and continued with the decorations. The next morning, our relatives and cousins arrived. And the house was once again filled with a lot of people. Even though our grandparents' house was big, it's still filled with a lot of people and, mind you, those are just our relatives and it's not even complete yet lol. We are a very big family. And I can see how our grandparents were so happy on that day. I can see through their eyes how happy they were that finally, once again, the whole family had gathered around. Especially my grandma's reaction. She was just smiling all day seeing everyone. Seeing our lovely grandparents happy makes us feel happy too. They are the foundation of the family. **FAMILY IS LOVE :>** ***Thanks for dropping by! A Birthday Celebration Along With Nature `0220602022` Happy Wednesday, my lovely read.cash buddies! How's it going? I hope you guys had a great day and a great start to the week. I was inactive once again for a few days because I was so busy these past few days and I didn't have much time to interact on this platform. And even today, while I was typing this one, I am still a bit busy because I'm at the front office right now. The reasons why I have been inactive these past few days are that last Saturday we went to one of our aunt's places to celebrate her birthday and then on Sunday, we had a family gathering.   Last Saturday we went to our aunt's place, which is in the highlands, but thank goodness that we won't be walking all the way to their home because it's a bit far. I wasn't supposed to go with them because I was not in the mood, but one of my cousins forced me to go with them. We arrived there a few minutes late since we were riding on a motorcycle, and I did not regret going with them because the view when we arrived at our aunt's place was breathtaking. I was in awe when I arrived at their place. The peaceful view in the highlands and the beauty of nature are so refreshing.   Their place was a perfect place if you needed to isolate yourself from the toxic and busy city life and a perfect place to be with nature. It’s like you are really in a paradise because of the mountain and the ocean views from the top. Their house was a bit far, and we still needed to walk a few meters to get to where their house is, and since it’s located at the top, it was still a very tiring walk even though it was just a few meters away. The setting and surroundings are typical of provincial life.   When we arrived, they had already prepared some foods and my other cousins, who arrived first before us, were helping our aunt cook some foods, such as our famous lumpia. I also helped her wrap the lumpia. There are a lot of fruits and vegetables outside their house, especially their mini garden that was filled with a lot of vegetables. After all the foods were already cooked, we then prepared the table in their nepa hut outside their house. We had our lunch just right outside of their house, looking at the breathtaking scenery.   After we had our lunch, we took a rest first under their lime tree. They have a lot of limes outside their house and we even take home some. After a few hours of taking a rest after we had our lunch, we then went to another place along with my other cousins to get some coconut because we would be making "*Buko Juice*". I told my cousin that I would also be going with them, and I thought that it was just near because our aunt said it was just right there on the other side of the road. But then to my surprise, it’s not near at all. It’s a bit far, but not too far. But what makes it tiring is that we’re walking under the very hot sun and it was 2 in the afternoon, which makes it even hotter. We took a few coconuts and some pineapples we saw on our way back to our aunt’s house.   It was already 6 pm when we decided to go home, but then our uncle wanted to take a dip in a spring located a few meters away from our aunt’s house. So we decided to go there before going home. When we arrived at the spring, it was so dark and the spring was right under a huge tree circling around the spring. What makes it even more creepy is that the house right in front of the spring is an old abandoned house. LOL. That is why I was not able to take a proper photo of the spring and the trees that were covering it because it was too dark. It was only me and my other cousin who didn’t take a dip in the spring because it was also freaking cold. We only dipped our feet while the boys were swimming. It was exactly 7 p.m. when we headed home, and the road was also dark, and the only lights you’ll see were the lights coming from the houses across the road. But we arrived home safely. `The photos attached are owned and captured by the author.` ***Jini's Note:*** ***Hey there! Hustle: Never Back Down `0150602022` Hello there, my fantastic read cash adorers! How’s it going? I hope you guys had a great day even though the market is not that great. LOL. But let’s not all lose hope because as long as we’re holding something, there will still always be a chance to bounce back. I just hope everything will finally get back to the way it was used to. Welp, let’s not tackle that more because it will just hurt our minds and even our little hearts with all those bloody candles that we see everyday. And it looks like we’ve gotten used to seeing reds already, and I've badly missed seeing greens. Hustle https://i.guim.co.uk/img/media/792babb637d74dea87045c7852a750ab0640700d/0_240_7200_4320/master/7200.jpg?width=465&quality=45&auto=format&fit=max&dpr=2&s=a28d85872a03204e98546af2183d2ed7 Are you familiar with that word? We’ve always heard or read that word, like in our everyday lives. Because we always need to hustle hard every day to achieve our desired goals in life. So, in terms of the Hustle, I'm sure most of you who were huge fans or simply enjoy basketball have already seen the new Netflix film "***Hustle***," starring *Adam Sandler* and NBA player *Juancho Hernangomez.* The Netflix movie Hustle stars a lot of great NBA players and a lot of legendary people from the basketball industry, such as former NBA players who had a cameo in the movie. With an honest comment about the movie without any bias, this is truly one of the best sports movies that I have ever seen. I have seen a lot of sports movies, but this hustle was truly a great movie and indeed the best. The movie doesn’t just focus on basketball but also on the development of oneself and having trust in someone. I watched this movie a few days after it was released, and I didn’t regret watching it even though I watched it at 1 am at that time.   The movie has a lot of life lessons that most of us can surely relate to, especially for those single fathers out there who are willing to do anything just to have something to provide for their children, just like the character "Bo Cruz," played by Juancho, who is a single father who works at a construction site during the day and plays basketball at the park at night to earn a small amount of money from the bets. They lived in a small apartment in Spain, along with his daughter and his mother.   On the other hand, Stanley, played by Adam Sandler, was a basketball scout tasked with looking for a perfect player for his team, the 76ers, to get to the NBA. He traveled across the world to find the perfect player who would suit their team. While in Spain, he noticed this particular person playing in the park with the entire crowd cheering while circling the court. There he saw *Bo Cruz*, who he saw some potential in and the only person that stood out among the individuals who were playing. After seeing how Bo played, he then convinced him to be part of their team in Philadelphia. https://ftw.usatoday.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/90/2022/06/edwards-juancho.jpg?w=1000&h=600&crop=1 Things didn’t turn out as easily as they expected when Stanley finally had Bo. But even without his team’s approval, Stanley didn’t stop coaching and training Bo to be a great player. The two of them didn’t give up and pursued both of their dreams of becoming what they dreamed of being. Bo was given a second chance to prove himself and get the victory he deserved on the basketball court. And for the second time, he proved to himself even more that he truly deserves the spot to become the next NBA star. Hustle taught us to never back down and always stand up every time we feel like we’re slowly breaking down.   I highly recommend this new Netflix movie "**Hustle**". It is truly a great movie and even though you are not into basketball or sports, you will still like this movie for its lessons that you will learn from it.   You can watch this on Netflix. 11/10 Lead Image https://www.indiewire.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/AAAAQfOWwA0Hs7r9O4szpElMwopMfomqvAKV2WeEXUfrRXX-DaMUFqdKzYnysN6uPdjUHrgNM1ogNDlyqCWuGfrF0WncEnpFKJZ8vCZA7_3Fu4J_M0vHWLz4rILfPs31DQJjVLnQa98fDoJXxRdxaXHtapgx660.jpeg ***Hey there! Gallery Raid: Unearth what’s hidden `0140602022` Hello there, my dear read cash buddies! How’s it going? I was not able to publish yesterday because there was a sudden problem with our router’s connection. We lost internet connection yesterday because, according to them, a fire happened and the tower and cables that connect to the main source of our internet provider were severely damaged, so that is why I was inactive yesterday. And that was okay because I was able to set aside my phone and take a rest from spending too much time on my computer, which is a good thing.   Anyway, for today’s write-up, I got this idea after reading Sis Blackdoll’s **article**, which inspired me to write my version of her prompt. So the prompt was about sharing random shots and photos from our phone gallery. Though I haven’t taken new shots lately since I haven’t gotten out of the house for quite a long time, except for the day that we had our camp, which was also the last time that I was able to go out in the outside world. LOL. I would probably also be adding photos that I have posted here before. Well, I don’t know if I have already posted some of these. Teehee. So, here we go! https://read.cash/@Theblackdoll/gallery-raid-most-beautiful-pics-in-my-phone-f4049e52 This was probably the most recent photo that I took that is not a selfie, and this was also the last time that I was out of our house, like literally out of our house. This was the time that we went hiking and camping in one of the mountains that our grandpa owned. This shot was taken while we were hiking all the way to the top. We had our 5-minute rest at that time because our knees were already shaking from walking and hiking. As you can see, the sun was about to set when I took that shot. This shot was also taken during that time. This was the night time view at the top of our camping site. This was what the province's lights looked like during the night. Honestly, it was more peaceful than the city lights and city life. You won't be able to hear loud noises from different vehicles because the only thing that you’ll hear will be the sound of the crickets and the chirping of birds at night. And it’s the kind of sound that is like music to our ears. / I don't know why's the quality is kinda ruined :< / I think I have shared this photo before, but I just wanted to share it again because this was one of my favorite shots that I have taken. This shot was also memorable because it was taken the day before the great typhoon Odette struck our place, causing great havoc in mostly all areas in the Visayan Region. The reason why I love this shot is because of the raindrops that are just too cute to ignore. I was just walking around at my cousin’s place when I saw his huge aquarium outside. It was truly an eye-catcher because of how big the glass was. I went close to the aquarium and saw these cute Oranda, which is also a breed of gold fish. They may look small, but they were actually big. There are four of them in the huge aquarium. Sky above, sand below, or rather, stones below.LOL. This was also probably the last time that I went to the beach. This was my uncle’s 50th birthday, and we celebrated his birthday at the beach with the whole family. I took this shot like 20 times just to capture the bubbles coming from the waves because I couldn’t take a proper photo because the waves were so huge and my phone might get wet. I just love how peaceful and calm the sea is. Too bad I was not able to at least dip myself in the water. ***Damay damay na ‘to!*** HAHAHA. I just want to add this photo because I am hungry and I’ve been craving all of the foods on this plate. Huhu. Thank sis @Theblackdoll for giving me an idea of what to write, I was actually out of words and ideas and your prompt helps me! If you wish to participate in this prompt, just go visit her **article.** https://read.cash/@Theblackdoll/gallery-raid-most-beautiful-pics-in-my-phone-f4049e52 ***Thank you guys for dropping by, I really appreciate your presence here.*** ***Stay hydrated and stay safe always!*** ***See you on my next blog!***

Viva la Independencia Filipina `0120602022` https://philippinereporter.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Philippine-Independence-Day-June-12-1898.jpg   After 333 years of Spanish reign, the Philippines celebrated the 124th year of independence under the Spanish rulers on this day today. Today, June 12, commemorates of Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo's declaration of the Philippine Republic as an independent country.   The Spanish colonial period in the Philippines began in 1521, when explorer Ferdinand Magellan arrived on the islands and claimed them as a colony for the Spanish Empire. The Spaniards have made many changes in the lives of Filipinos, both good and bad, and we have benefited from what the Spaniards have established on the island of the Philippines. There are many things that we still do, such as culture, tradition, and practices. For more than 300 years, the Spaniards have had a profound impact on our lives by introducing the Catholic Church, which has converted nearly every Filipino to Christianity.   Prior to the arrival of the Spaniards on the island of the Philippines, the Filipinos had a thriving civilization and were trading with the Chinese and Japanese. Historically, the people of the Philippines were Muslims who preached Islam to others. However, Spanish colonization impacted almost everything about the Philippines, and this is true as we can see now. Aside from bringing the Catholic religion, the Spanish also influenced current Filipino culture. The Spanish conquest finally brought about major changes in the life of the indigenous peoples. The Spaniards brought new habits and religion with them. From their previous colonial experiences in Latin America, they brought new behaviors and institutions with them.   However, the lives of our forefathers and the Filipino people during those times were not peaceful, as certain Spanish people were crueler than others, particularly the friars. Throughout the Philippines' colonization, the Spanish gained monetarily while hindering the natives socially and through taxation. Finally, the drawbacks outweigh the positives since being economically successful is not more important than losing cultural identity and the Church putting natives in debt. And if you've read Dr. Jose Rizal's novel "El Filibusterismo," you'll know who the country's true enemy is. The Philippine colony was ruled by Spaniards, according to Spanish by-laws, and for the sole benefit of the mother nation and its representatives in the colony. Filipinos only occupied minor positions. They have forbidden the benefits of public education, and their rights and desires were almost entirely neglected. Worse, the abusers and manipulators are mostly dominated by the government and the churches during those periods. The Filipino people are manipulated and abused by unscrupulous authorities and friars. What's more, guess what? Doesn't history repeat itself? Lol.   To my non-Filipino friends here and to my Filipino friends who don't like history that much, I highly recommend and suggest to you guys reading Jose Rizal’s two novels, which are "Noli Me Tangere" and "El Filibusterismo". You will undoubtedly learn a lot about the Philippines from these novels.   It's been a hundred and twenty-four years since Philippine independence, yet why do we still feel enslaved and unfree?   Still, I am thankful for the culture and traditions that the Spaniards influenced to us that we are enjoying right now. **MAALIGAYANG ARAW NG KALAYAAN PILIPINAS!** https://www.zenrooms.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/shutterstock_1579926409.jpg  VIVA LA INDEPENDENCIA FILIPINA! Your Child is NOT Your Investment `01102022` If you decided to have kids so that there will be someone who will take you out of poverty and will look up to you when you grow old, then you better not have kids. A child is not an investment; rather, it is a responsibility that you yourself created. And that you, as a parent, are obligated to provide for the child's needs and support until they are able to provide on their own.   But...   What would you do if one of your children or children suddenly stated that they did not wish to be born? And that they didn’t ask any of these. It’s painful right, hearing your own child spitting those words in front of you. But if we think of those phrases fully, they are actually right. Those kids didn’t ask to be born, as no one told you, parents, to make love and go make babies. And telling your children that they should be thankful for everything you've given them and that they exist because of you is a bad idea. One of the most common conflicts and arguments between parents and children is the responsibility of being a child and a parent. In fact, it is always the parent’s responsibility to provide support for their family. The parents are committed to giving full responsibility to their children. We are all aware that there are these kinds of parents out there who use their children to take them out of poverty to the point that they’re pressuring their children physically and mentally without knowing that their child is already physically and mentally drained. But the sad thing is that most of them don’t actually mind their children’s sacrifices, for as long as it benefits them, then they are good. The sad thing is that most of the family’s breadwinners could not even complain about everything because they must respect their parents and also the "Utang Naloob" that they always keep in mind. That they should give back to what their parents have sacrificed for them and that it’s time for the child to reciprocate those. They feel like they’re obliged to do so, to the point that they feel like they are being chained forever by their parents. And if they couldn't give their parents what they wanted, they'd start calling their child names and anything else. It sickens me every time I hear or see a parent tell their children that they are the ones who feed them, shower them, provide them with warm clothes, and a place to live and that they should return be responsible for giving back to their parents.   I have read an article on the other blogging platform in relation to this topic. She was disowned by her family just because she decided to no longer support the financial needs of her sister's lavish lifestyle. That made her mother furious about her decision, and then her mother called her hurtful words just because of her decision. She was the one who provided everything for her family because she was the oldest and was responsible for providing everything for their family.   She just could no longer support her sister because she was also the one paying her sister’s debt and giving her allowance, but her sister just ended up using that money on shopping and clubs. While she, on the other hand, was the one making all the sacrifices just to be able to provide for her family.   It’s just so unfair...   Remember, your children are not your investments, and they are not obliged to provide whatever you want. They can live and have their own lives because not every time they are there for you. There will always be a time when you will go your separate ways and your children will have their own families to look up to. Your responsibility as a parent is to guide your children to grow into responsible people and parents in the near future and not the other way around. https://i2.wp.com/thewokesalaryman.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/img_1473.jpg?fit=2048%2C1278 Lead Image https://i0.wp.com/thewokesalaryman.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/liability.png?resize=640%2C409&ssl=1 ***Thank for stopping by!*** ***See you on my next blog!***

Finally, Mask Free! `090602022` Since the start of the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we have been told to always be cautious and wear a face mask and a face shield if going out or going to a public area to avoid getting infected by the virus. When the number of cases of infected people increases, and the number of people who are infected and die as well gets higher every second. The health protocols got even stricter and requested everyone to stay at home, and then the lockdown was implemented to prevent the spread of the COVID virus that affects a lot of people all around the globe. It was a challenge for everyone, especially those people who depend on the member of their family who is the only one employed and became unemployed because of the total lockdown implemented. Work from home was then suggested to every organization and firm in order to keep their company running and to be able to pay their employees even though they were only working from home. But, the work-from-home setup is not for everyone, especially those workers who need to work on-site and in the field. They are left with no choice but to just stay at home and do something alternative to provide for their family. The lockdown that we thought would last a week becomes months, years, and even decades (I was just exaggerating) LOL. It was a difficult challenge for all of us as it affected people’s mental health and even raised the number of suicide cases during those times of lockdown. Staying at home for a long period of time may be good and advantageous for some, but not for others as it worsens and triggers their mental health problems, especially in the environment that they are in. After a long period of being trapped inside and unable to leave to see the outside world, the government finally lifts the lockdown implementation in areas with few cases of COVID, and the new normal is born. It requires a little bit of adjustment until everyone gets comfortable with the new normal set up. People are now allowed to go out but still need to wear protection like masks, face shields, and alcohol and maintain a meter of social distancing. The first month of the new normal went smoothly; everyone followed the rules for everyone’s safety. But as months go by, the social distancing is no longer followed by the majority and public areas and places start to get more crowded. After a few years of wearing masks and face shields everywhere we go, the city of Cebu is finally mask free! The city of Cebu is the first place in the Philippines to no longer use a mask. It is no longer mandatory for everyone to wear a mask in public areas and places. People no longer need to wear their masks and will no longer be afraid to get caught if they don’t have a mask because our faces are finally free. But the mask is still required in some private places and areas. Honestly, the other part of me is happy because we will no longer be wearing a mask all the time whenever we go out, but the other side of me wants to continue wearing a mask because I feel like I have gotten used to it already and also because it helps me hide my face whenever I don’t want to show my face whenever I go out. LOL.   I can say that we’re finally getting back to normal. Everything’s getting back to the way it’s used to be and I’m so happy with it! Appreciation Post: Read Cash Buddies `080602022` Who would have thought that meeting someone on the internet would turn out to be one of the people you will treasure the most? Internet friends are indeed some of the best people we have ever had.   This is an appreciation post in celebration of Friendship or Best Friends Day. This article is dedicated to my dearest friends and to those people who also considered me one of their friends. You guys mean so much to me. You don’t know how much I treasure those friendships and the bond that we suddenly created those simple moments that we share in exchanging funny conversations and way more than that.   Before I landed on this platform, it was not on my mind that people would notice me and befriend me, because what I always think in my mind is who am I to be noticed by other users here? I am just a nobody trying to explore this platform without a single clue about what this platform is. I already created an account before I was invited by a friend of mine. I was already on this platform ahead of her, but I didn’t explore more and just abandoned my account because I still have no idea how it would work.   Then this friend of mine, @Corpsekunno, encouraged me to join this platform as she thought that I liked writing. She was also the one who invited and kept on encouraging me to join Noise Cash as well. I told her that I had already created an account before but I abandoned it. That’s why it was marked as spam. So I decided to create a new account and I didn’t expect that this account would grow and gain a lot of friends as well. I was truly grateful to her for encouraging me and continuing to push me to try new things that I knew I would enjoy.   I still vividly remember when I published my introduction. I was not expecting to receive such a warm welcome from these amazing and wholesome people. @ExpertWritter @Eunoia @immaryandmerry @carisdaneym2 @Sequoia and my dearest kuya Eddie the great haha @TengoLoTodo. My apologies if I won’t be able to mention some of you here. Just go directly to the comment section for more *bardagulan*. LOL. These are the people who opened and supported my journey on this amazing platform. Your encouragement made me feel more motivated to do even better and I feel so appreciated. Especially when I first landed on our telegram group ***"Noiseristificationism"***, where I met different types of crazy people LOL. I thought I would be out of place, but they didn’t let anyone feel out of place.   Ate @Ruffa has always been one of those people that I look up to because she was also one of those people who kept on motivating and encouraging me whenever I felt down. Even though 90% of her words of encouragement were all about crushes, LOL, I do still appreciate her words and for always being there and supporting me since day one. She’s one of the people who have a special place in my heart (char). Because of her, I learned that I shouldn’t just focus on one crush, but more crushes, because the more the merrier. LMAO.   To my *bardagulan* buddies, how are you, people? @WanderingMedStudent @kli4d LOL. Even though I am no longer active on the noise cash platform, I do still remember some users there who became my friends, especially those with whom I exchange conversations every day and those with whom I can comfortably share different nonsense and dramas in life without being afraid of getting a judgment from them.   I still have a lot of people to mention but it will surely gonna be overloaded with a lot of mentions and rusty might get mad for mentioning too many people in a single post. But always remember that you all have a special place in my little hearteu, especially those that I considered my **Ate’s** in this platform.   I didn’t know that writing articles and writing random ideas can gain me a lot of friends. Who would have thought that the people that I have only met on the other side of my screen would be turned into a great friendship? Thank you so much, wholesome people, even though maybe some of you don’t consider me as a friend, I don’t care because as for me, you guys are my dearest friends. Period. LOL. HAPPY BEST FRIENDS DAY!! Lead Image   See you on my next blog!

Choose or Die? `070602022` Happy Choose Day my lovely read cash buddies! How’s it going? How was your month of June so far? I hope you guys had a great start of the week, even though mine was not that good, but I’m always trying my very best. In regards to my fever, I am a little better right now, though my head still hurts a little, but my whole body is not that slow and tired anymore and I’m starting to gain my strength once again. Though no one’s asking for an update, but I just wanna share it with you tho, LOL.   Anyway, for today’s article, I will be sharing another movie recommendation and a little bit of what the movie was all about. It’s more like a summary of what the movie is. I hope you don’t mind getting spoiled about the movie if you know you haven’t watched this movie yet, because for sure, this is more like a detailed story of what the movie is, LOL. I just can’t stop myself from sharing too much information. Teehee. Welp, enough with this and let’s dive into the depths of the film. Choose or Die?   Choose or die? Are you willing to choose whatever it is just to save your life, or are you willing to sacrifice your life and ignore what the choices are? A single game can turn your world upside down.   This horror movie is all about a video game called "CURS>R" where all you need to do is just play the game until you face the final boss and win the game. But, it’s not just an ordinary video game where you can play whenever and wherever you want to and be able to respawn seconds after you die in the video game. The CURS>R is not the kind of video game that you think of.   It all started when Isaac, a programmer who is currently working on his new game, noticed that the game on Isaac's boxes piqued Kayla's interest, Isaac's best friend. It was an old computer game, and it has something written on the tape that stated that you will win a reward if you had completed the game. And because Kayla was deeply in debt and struggling with poverty, finding financial support for her mother, who had been traumatized by the loss of her younger brother, was a major challenge.   Kayla got intrigued by the cash prize of the game and decided to try it out. However, this one is a little different. It adjusts itself based on what’s happening in the room with Kayla, and every level usually leads to bloodshed and a screen that reads "CHOOSE OR DIE" over and over again. The game adjusts to wherever you are and whoever you are with. Basically, everything around you is a whole game. You are inside the game, and you’re the one who is controlling everything. Like, you were given a choice of whether the guy would jump off the building or cut his tongue out, and you have to choose between the two because if you don’t, your life will be the one in danger.   The game will start at exactly the time you logged into the game. Kayla’s first game was traumatizing for her, and she thought that it was just her dream, but not until it happened again at the same time that she logged into the game, and this time it was her mother involved. The game will target those people who were close to the player. Isaac and her decided to try to trace down the origin of the game and who was the one who created it. Thanks to Isaac’s skills on the computer, they were able to track down who created the game. https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSiGHiX-WEy_-x9jxRM54U_d4FWF0lPWrDeqQ&usqp=CAU Kayla was able to locate the origin of the game and know what lies behind that game. Kayla was able to face the final boss and became the real player themselves.   It was a good movie but not that great kind of a movie. It depends on your taste whether you will like this kind of movie or not. It’s on Netflix. They’re Finally United: A Mini-Reunion `060602022` An unexpected family gathering will be the best thing that every family has. And on this day, today will probably be one of the best and most memorable days for our grandparents, especially for our dearest grandmother. We didn’t expect any of these things to happen because we only thought that today was just an ordinary day, but to our surprise, it suddenly became one of the days that we will surely remember for the rest of our lives. These precious moments that we spent with these precious and lovely people from our big family. Another precious moment that will surely last forever.   Yesterday, we had a visitor and they are our aunt from our grandma’s side. They are the children of our grandma’s other siblings. Basically, our grandmother was the oldest among her siblings, and so was our grandfather. They were both the oldest among their siblings. These past few days, our dearest grandma has been mentioning her siblings and been calling their names again and again. Because our grandma’s memory is no longer the same as before, she sometimes mistook someone as her siblings and called someone as her younger sister. One of her siblings she keeps mentioning is her youngest, who is the only one who lives far away from the rest of them because our "nanay" lives in Davao, on the island of Mindanao.   All of our grandma’s siblings are all here in Cebu and living in the same province, and the only sibling who got far away from them was our dearest Nanay Betta, who was in Davao and is also the youngest. We had fun asking our grandma about her siblings because even though she sometimes forgot, she would still talk and answer everything you asked her, even if the answers weren’t the same and correct. So, we asked her who were her siblings if she still remembered who her siblings were, and to our surprise, she correctly named all of her siblings and the first name that she always mentioned was Nanay Betta’s. Then when we asked her who were her kids, he then said my mom’s name, which is correct because my mom was the oldest, but then again he dropped the names of her siblings as her children, and according to her, my mom and her siblings were her children. We couldn't help but laugh at it.   My mom was the only one included as her children and the rest of my aunts and uncles were just her nephews and nieces. LOL. So, yesterday, we were talking about our other Nanay, who was in Davao. Nanay’s children were planning to get her from Davao and let her stay in Cebu instead, so that she would no longer be travelling from Cebu to Davao. They were just planning that time. But today, to our surprise, they just suddenly arrived at the front door of the house and we literally didn’t expect that they would stay over. They arrived at 4 o’clock in the afternoon and all of us were stunned when we saw them entering the house. It’s like our minds were still processing if the old lady who had just arrived was our Nanay Betta.   Our grandma was so happy when we told her that the person that she’d been looking for had finally arrived and she could finally hug her younger sister. They look so cute together. Seeing them reunited was so sweet. It’s been so long since they’ve seen each other again. It is just so precious to see these two oldies hugging and crying after seeing each other for a long time. They even look like twin sisters because they look exactly the same with the same gray hair and the same haircut. Typical siblings, indeed. My nephew even said that they looked like twins. Even though Nanay is already old too, she still shows how jolly and bubbly she is, even though her other eye is totally blind because of the cataract, but still doesn’t stop her from anything.   It is just so sweet and precious to see two old siblings finally reunited once again. My head's about to explode `050602022` A blessed Sunday my wholesome read cash buddies! How's it going? My apologies if I was not able to publish and interact yesterday and the other days because my head feels like it's about to explode and it hurts so badly. I was not able to interact with you and read your published articles, no matter how much I wanted to.  Last Friday, I felt like I was not feeling well and my body was so tired even if I moved my body a little. I got a cough and a cold too, which made me have trouble breathing because of my clogged nose and also made me unable to sleep properly. It's ironic how I got a fever when I rarely even go out of my room. I stayed in my room for like 24/7. But even though we rarely go out and interact with people, we still get sick. And sickness doesn't just come from people or the abnormality of the weather. One of the most common reasons why we get sick is because of stress and that's, I believe, the reason why I got sick. Actually, last week I already got a common cold and cough, but it didn't last long because I did some water therapy, which I always drink water every day, especially warm water every morning. But then, it just came back and it is getting worse because my head and my whole body are already affected and it weakens my entire body. My cough got even worse too, especially when there's a lot of phlegm coming out. I couldn't get enough sleep because of my trouble breathing because of my clogged nose.  I took some medicine right after to help ease the pain in my head and throughout my body. I drank a lot of water every day, and it's twice the amount of water that I regularly consume. Water therapy truly helps. It is one of the most effective therapies ever. Last night, my mom massaged my whole body as, according to her, massaging the body can help let out all the pain inside the body and can also help heal faster from fever. My mom's massage feels good yet painful at the same time. Yes, it is very painful and I am not even exaggerating or anything like that. This type of massage, we call it "*Hilot*" in our native dialect. It's super painful because they need to get rid of those things in our bodies that cause what they call "*panuhot*" My apologies, I don't know what this thing is called lol. They put a lot of pressure on massaging that specific part of the body. And when they massage my whole body, when I say whole, I literally mean whole, from head down to my toes.   I, myself, am fully aware of why I got a fever when I don't even go out of my room. It's because I've been so stressed lately because of the load of problems that I encountered, and I've also been experiencing panic attacks lately, and I get so depressed during those times to the point that I don't know what to do. I always sleep late to the point where I only get 3-4 hours of sleep and I will only eat a meal once or twice a day, or sometimes I don't eat at all. I don't mind at all. Because my entire mind and body no longer function properly and I feel hopeless, as if everything is meaningless. And right now, I am also suffering from it. I am feeling a lot of aches in various parts of my body, especially in my head. Well, I guess I got what I deserved. LOL. But I am feeling a lil bit better right now :) ***Heyya! Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate your presence here.*** ***Thanks for sticking with me through my ups and downs, you guys mean so much to me.*** ***Stay hydrated and stay safe always!*** ***See you on my next blog!***

It’s Okay if You’re Not Ready Yet `020602022` *It’s totally fine if you’re not ready yet.* *It’s okay if you feel like it’s not your time to come out of your shell.* *It’s okay if you feel like you’re the only one who understands you.*  *It’s totally fine. As long as you’re happy and you’re not knocking other people out. Just live your life to the fullest, little warrior.*   Happy Pride Month to everyone! Especially to our LGBTQ+ friends and family who are out there.   The month of June is the month for everyone, especially our LGBTQ+ friends, and I guess it is the most hated month for those homophobic people out there who think that seeing someone who isn’t straight could kill them. Like, what the freaking hell? Bruh... These kinds of people are the worst people in the world. It’s just ironic how these people are mostly the most religious ones but are also the most homophobic ones.   Pride Month is like a month where our dearest friends feel free from everything, where they can express themselves freely without thinking of someone’s judgment and other people’s negative opinions about them. It is their month to express who and what they really are without worrying about everything. Because there are a lot of people out there who are not able to express who they really are because they are afraid of what other people may say to them, they tend to hide who they truly are because society is cruel.   It’s okay if you’re not ready yet; take your time and only come out whenever you feel like you’re ready. You don’t have to pressure yourself too much and you don’t have to hide forever, as if you’re a threat to society. Come out whenever you’re ready and spread your wings and fly like a free little butterfly.   But we all know that it is not as easy as it may sound. There are a lot of people who are hesitant to come out and show who they truly are. I have a lot of gay and bisexual friends who have just recently come out, and they all have the same reasons. They are all afraid of what their family may say to them. Apart from that, they are also afraid that they might get hurt by their fathers, uncles, and brothers. It sounds too sad that these people were not able to show what their true colors are because they were afraid of their own families, who were supposed to be the people who would uplift and support them.   I have this friend from my college days, and he is bisexual. Mind you guys, he is truly an attractive guy. Like, why is it that most bisexual men are all attractive? Why is that? LOL. So, he had a boyfriend once and a girlfriend before during his senior high years, and his parents had no idea that their son was not a straight guy. He acts so manlily at everything to the point that you can’t even think of him as a boy, and he’s even our classroom president during that time. In fact, I also liked teasing him when I found out that he liked boys too.   Whenever we walk, I always tease him, such by holding his hands, and every time I do that, he’ll just laugh at me. But during those times of teasing him, I literally had no idea that he already had a boyfriend. I just found out when I saw them walking home together. And they look so cute walking together, like what a typical *"tropa"* is like "buddy". When all of us found out about them, they became comfortable showing their love for each other, and they no longer get shy whenever they are together. Everything looks so fine. But the only sad thing is that his parents still have no idea that their son has a boyfriend. What’s worse is that his father doesn’t like gays. He can only feel freedom when he’s not at home.   I hope that he will finally have the courage to show his true colors to his family. Because parents are meant to support their children and not the other way around. I hope that his father will realize that ***there is nothing wrong with being gay. :>*** Lead Image https://media.feministcurrent.com/uploads/2021/06/198289222_305339007907292_6757333175378622536_n.jpg *Thanks for dropping by!* *See you on my next blog!*

Hey June, Don’t Make It Bad `010602022` ***Hey June, don’t make it bad*** ***Take a sad song*** ***And make it better*** ***Remember to let her into your heart*** ***Then you can start to make it better***   ***- Hey Jude (The Beatles)*** Hey there, how’s it going my wholesome read cash buddies? How was your month of May so far? I know that last month was like a roller coaster ride that gave us mixed emotions followed by the roller coaster ride of the bloody market that keeps on going down and down. My month of May was not that good at the near end of the month. Actually, my month of May really is the worst so far. A lot of things are happening in my family and it’s like we’re being cursed by this month. Because, as I have noticed, every May we always encounter challenges and problems within our family. But I believe that those challenges just made our family’s bond even stronger.   My family bond got stronger, but the bond within me, myself, and I started to break into pieces. I’ve been struggling lately and the month of May was indeed full of heartaches. I shed a bucket of tears that month, and I hate it. I am so tired of it. I have been so depressed lately, but I have always made sure to pick myself up every time I break down because no one else will be aside from me. I struggled a lot. If only you knew, there are a lot of things that have been going through my mind and it feels like it’s driving me insane and I am so done with it. I am tired of silently crying every freaking night.   I've got a lot of things running through my mind along with problems that I don’t know where to start first. My insecurities even get worse and it feels like everything’s fcked up. That is why I was hoping that this new month of June would not be the same as the month of May because my eyes were already tired of crying and I think I ran out of tears from crying every freaking night. But sadly, I welcomed the first day of the new month of June with a teary eye. I can’t really help but cry again and again. No matter how much I hold it, it won’t just stop from falling on my cheeks like a waterfall.   It's just so funny how I keep cheering other people up while I'm the one breaking down and crying while typing some heart-warming and inspirational words. What’s even funnier is that the words that I needed to hear were the words that I told and shared with my friends to cheer them up and inspire and motivate them to pursue what they needed to pursue. Indeed, no one can make us feel better than ourselves. Well, I guess I have gotten used to it already that I am no longer longing for those words.   I am praying that there will be no more tears for me this month because I am already too tired for it. I hope that today will be the last day that I will let out the last tear in my eyes and the next thing that will be a tear of joy and no more disappointment coming from me. I hope that June won’t make it bad and, for sure, it will never be bad. I was so beaten up last month and I won’t let it happen again this month. Fingers crossed.   It's funny how we always say, "June, please be good to me," when a month doesn't do anything and we are the only ones in control of everything. LOL.   Happy New Month of June! read cash buddies! We’re already half way there since we’re already in the middle of the year and a few more sleeps "Ber Months" will pop up like it was yesterday. ***Time hasn’t gone so fast; we’re just getting older and older without noticing.*** Lead Image https://i1.sndcdn.com/artworks-000607287172-t0pdxg-t500x500.jpg ***Hey, thank's for dropping by, I really appreciate your presence here.*** ***Stay hydrated and stay safe always!*** ***See you on my next blog!***

The Teen Serial Killers: Murder `0310502022` Hello there, wonderful readers! How’s it going? I really thought that today was Monday, when in fact it’s already Tuesday. I literally forgot what day it was today. I wasn’t that busy today because none of our instructors met us today and had a discussion. They only sent some notes and only one of our instructors sent some quizzes, which is not that hard since it was only a five-item quiz. Today, I get to enjoy watching the series that I am currently watching, which is Stranger Things S4. Have you guys already watched it too? If you like some fantasy and mystery with a little bit of horror, then I highly recommend this series to you.   So, for today's article, I will be writing the continuation of what I published yesterday night, which is the crime case of the two teenage serial killers. If you haven’t read the first one, then just click this **link.** https://read.cash/@Jinifer/the-teen-serial-killers-7f138116 Before they committed the horrible crime, they planned first on how they would execute the plan and commit the most horrifying crime. The two of them skipped a class and planned on how they would commit the crime and wrote a paper on how they would get away with the murder that they would commit. On the day of the crime, Brian, one of the suspects, went to the school first before Torey, who is his accomplice. He recorded everything upon entering the school and even recorded their victim, who is Cassie. He recorded Cassie and asked if she had seen Torey around, and by the look on Cassie’s face, she looked uncomfortable being recorded.   After they planned everything, they went to Cassie’s place that night. Torey picked up Brian in his own car. In fact, Cassie was not supposed to be the first victim. They were planning to kill someone first before Cassie, but to no avail. When they arrived at that other victim's place, she was not around, so they decided to go to Cassie’s place instead. They even planned at first to kill their first victim and brought it to Cassie’s place to scare her out. One of them suggested doing a slaughter instead to be more fun and kill every person house-per-house. Can you imagine a 16-year-old saying those things? As they were driving to Cassie’s house, they had been planning on how they would break through Cassie’s house. Cassie was home alone because she was left alone to look out for their house since her family was out. Her boyfriend, Matt, went to her house and spent an hour with her. Her boyfriend suggested that they just spend the night at their house instead so that she wouldn’t be alone, but because Cassie is such an obedient girl and followed what her family told her, she declined and decided to stay and guard their house.   Before the two murderers committed the crime, they in fact went to Cassie’s house that night, and the four of them were hanging out together at Cassie’s place. The two murderers, Cassie’s boyfriend and Cassie herself. As the two of them left and then left Cassie and Matt alone in the house, they then proceeded to commit their horrible crime. They even planned on making noise outside in the living room, such as breaking something to make a sound to lure Cassie out. And if Matt is still with Cassie, they will kill Matt too. When they arrive at the house, they find out that Matt is no longer around, and that means that Cassie is already alone in her room.   They went to the back door in the garage, which is also the basement of the house. While the four of them were hanging out together earlier, one of them went to the basement to unlock the back door that serves as their way in. When they finally get in, they break something in the living room to lure Cassie out. When Cassie went out of her room to check the noise, to her surprise, there were two masked men waiting for her. They then stabbed Cassie multiple times, which led her to her death. According to the two teens, their plan of murder was inspired by the famous horror and crime movie, Scream. They were wearing a mask and a black coat and had a knife just like the serial killer in the Scream movie. According to them, they were actually making a movie about the murder that they had committed and that explains why they were recording everything. Four days later, the two of them were interrogated for being the last people that Cassie interacted with before her death. They have so many alibis and lies to prove their innocence, but still, justice prevailed, and the two of them ended up in jail. *May Cassie find the peace she deserves* Lead Image https://hips.hearstapps.com/hmg-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/images/scream-ghostface-1641804491.jpg?crop=0.956xw:0.719xh;0.0440xw,0.0538xh&resize=1200:* ***Thanks for stopping by! The Teen Serial Killers `0300502022` What we saw will surely have an influence on us, especially towards the kids. Because what the children watched will reflect on their behavior as what they have seen in a movie or any cartoon movie that they have watched, they can easily copy what they saw. Kids in today’s generation are so exposed to gadgets and anything they see on their phones and tablets. What’s worse is that the infants being exposed to gadgets and technologies have no idea what it's all about. Allowing children to be exposed to technologies and gadgets can only result in one of two outcomes: they will either learn advanced learning skills or the opposite. That is why parents should always look up to their children, especially to what they’ve watched. Don’t let the children watch something without your supervision because your kids might end up like these two teenage killers that I will be sharing with you. Last night before I slept, I watched a crime documentary about two teenage serial killers who were both 16 years old at the time. You wouldn’t believe that a 16-year-old junior student could come up with such horrifying and disturbing stuff. You might actually believe that there might be an adult evil inside a 16-year-old’s body. How they act and how they think and plan their gruesome killings is just unbelievable. So, this is the true crime story of two 16-year-old high school serial killers. Both of them kind of have the same vibes and there are big similarities between the two, especially when it comes to horror and crime. The two teens love watching horror movies and serial killings. They’re like literally obsessed with these movies. Their lockers are even full of horror movie posters such as Scream and all the famous horror movies. The two of them became best friends because they both had the same interest and had the same goal of becoming well-known serial killers and even wanted to surpass the number of kills that the other popular serial killer had. They are inspired to be greater than those serial killers. Because of their obsession with horror and serial killing things, they planned the most cruel and horrible killings. They have this classmate named Cassie, a very kind and obedient daughter. The two killers have been documenting their plan of killing their classmates from the beginning, and the camera and videos that they took also serve as the main evidence in the case. They wrote down their plan on how to get into Cassie’s house, then how they were going to kill her, and how to get away with the murder that they committed. Their victim is their classmate Cassie, and what’s more disturbing is what they said about their friend: "She’s our friend, but sometimes we need some sacrifices." They just literally chose Cassie as their main target, and not just that, they even planned on slaughtering a lot of people to make it more fun for them. They had been planning and preparing for their killing as they were so eager and determined to kill someone as if they had been craving to kill someone so badly. The day before they commit the crime, they have already planned on how they will break into Cassie’s house and how they will kill her. They checked about Cassie’s situation on that day that they planned on killing her. They checked that Cassie would be home alone that night. It’s creepy how they were able to know that Cassie’s parents would be gone for that night and left Cassie alone to guard and look for their house. The day before the murder, they both skipped a class and stayed in the library to plan everything out, and they literally documented everything from the beginning of their plan until the night they murdered Cassie. The horrifying murder could have been avoided if only the teacher had taken their camera. While they were in the library, one of their teachers approached them and spent a minute talking to them. Their teacher asked what the camera was all about, and they said that it was for their school’s project, so the teacher just let them have a video. This is getting longer, I will just split this into two articles and will just publish the other part on how they killed their friend Cassie, tomorrow. Because it’s getting longer and I don’t want to publish too long articles as it might get you bored of reading longer articles. Right? LOL. I will insert the documentary link in the next article that I will publish tomorrow. ***Thank's for dropping by! We're Not Ready Yet `0290502022` ***What’s more important than the love of the family bond, right?***   Hello there, wonderful readers! How’s it going? My apologies if I was not able to publish an article yesterday because I really wanted to stay away as much as possible and restrain myself from using any gadgets because I wanted to spend more time with my family, especially with our grandma. Because of my extremely busy class schedule, I stayed in my room every weekday and would only leave if I needed to eat or use the restroom. I can only rest myself from spending and staring too much on my laptop for like an hour if we have a vacant hour, but most of the time I spend the whole day staring at my computer doing so many tasks. The reason why I was not able to interact and publish an article here is that we had a family gathering and spent time all together in the house. Since our grandma got sick, we have done a family gathering every weekend to gather everyone in the house so that our grandma can get to know everyone since her memory is not the same as before and some of her memories have faded and she started naming people who are no longer here, which gives us worry, to be honest. That is why our uncle suggested that we always have a family gathering every weekend. Yesterday we had a dinner all together in the house, and each family brought the food they’d cooked. Our uncle brought the *pancit* that he cooked, and our other aunts and uncles also brought some plates of seafood and fruits. Every weekend, the house will always be filled with a lot of people, and it makes the surroundings feel so alive because everyone is here. Our grandma is happy to see everyone in the house, even though sometimes she forgets each of our names. Even if everyone was busy with their work, they would still make time to visit our grandma and check her situation.   We all want our grandma to be better already because we badly miss her being the active grandma that would laugh along with us, her grandchildren. I miss playing cards with her and Grandpa. I miss her words every morning. Every time I woke up and went out of my room, she would then tell me that the food was on the table and there was already hot water in the thermos if I wanted to have a cup of coffee. I miss those words every morning telling me to *"kaon na, naay sud an diha,"* and waking up every morning is not the same anymore. It feels like there’s a missing piece that completes my morning. And just yesterday, the results came out. My uncle’s partner suggested having our grandma’s things, such as clothes, looked at by a fortune teller or something black magic. I really don’t know what that thing is called and I don’t know the exact words to be used here, but she said something like a fortune teller. This was also the same fortune-teller who looked at the palm of my uncle’s partner and said that something bad would happen but not on her family’s side. And guess what, the day she had her palms checked was also the day that our grandma got unconscious in the c.r. She had her palms checked before she came over to the house. Honestly, I am not that kind of a believer. I don’t usually believe in things like this because I think that they just made those words up and are making people believe that they are real. But the truth is that some of what she said was accurate, and it really happens, and it gives us goosebumps when the lady says those words. But we always try to calm ourselves and be brave in front of our grandmother because we don’t want her to be sad. To cheer her up, I told my cousin that not all these fortune teller thingy are going to happen so there is nothing to worry about. The lady said that there are people waiting for our grandma on the other side and you know what scares us the most, our grandma keeps on mentioning those people who are no longer here, and what even scares us most is that she said that her parents are waiting for her and wanted her to come with them because they will go home. That is why we keep telling our grandma not to go with them because we are still here and we still wanted to spend more time all together as a whole big family. We told our grandma to tell her parents to go ahead, we keep telling her not to go with them, not this time. Not yet. Because we’re not ready yet. Please, I just want to Dye `0270502022` I’ve been dying to do this. I badly want to do this. I really wanted this so badly. I badly wanted to dye because doing this could make me at ease and I could finally be able to be at peace. This is my kind of coping mechanism, and it truly helps me from being so down on myself to become proud and confident in myself. That is why I have been thinking of dyeing these past few days because doing it makes me at peace. Sometimes I thought of doing it all by myself or just asking someone to do it for me. But I guess it would also be better if I did it alone in my room without everyone noticing. I kind of want to surprise them if they see me. I know some of you here have already thought of something in your minds about what I was talking about, lol. And I know that some of you here as well have already had an idea of what I really meant with this article that I am writing. Sorry if I am confusing you guys with the words that I used. But before I proceed, I just want to know how you awesome people are. How’s it going?   TGIF! Oh, I should really thank these days, for today is the last day of the week and tomorrow will be the weekend, and I can finally get to rest from staring at my laptop for like a whole day every day, and I can also be able to rest my laptop as well. Because I always turned on my laptop at 8 a.m. and turned it off at 11 p.m., and sometimes if I had a lot of work to do, my laptop would stay awake until 1 a.m.So, I really promised that this weekend I would surely rest myself from technology and spend more time taking care of my grandma. My gadgets and I deserve a rest too. As I have said, I really want to dye. I badly want to do it. I’ve been so eager to do it alone in my room. I have seen so many people doing it all by themselves and it turns out pretty well and seeing that makes me want to do it too. I have done this before, but it was just a little highlight. And right now, I want to dye my hair again because it’s been 3 years since I last dyed my hair and my hair is starting to grow longer again. I am planning to cut it short and dye my hair either ash blonde or red. I also wanted to try dying my hair in different colors, such as blue or red, but I asked my cousins' opinion about what hair color would suit me, and they said that ash blonde and ash gray suit me since I have light skin. I have also colored my hair golden brown, and it also turned out pretty well, even though my sister was the one who colored my hair. To be honest, I haven't gone to any salon because we usually do the hair coloring and cutting all by ourselves. And when it comes to coloring hair, I was usually the one who colored my cousins, sister, and even my mom’s hair. I am not a hairstylist, but all of my work turns out pretty well. You know what, my hair hasn’t tried nor experienced putting hair chemicals and medicines, but it sucks because my hair is still drier than the Sahara desert. My hair is almost reaching my waistline and as much as I want to grow my hair more, I really can’t keep and maintain long hair because I easily get too hot, especially living in this tropical country where it is so very hot. And having long hair makes it even hotter, and I always bathe in my own sweat. That is why there is a part of me wanting to cut it while there is also this other side of me wanting to keep it long. If I keep it long, I'll dye it an ash blonde color, and if I cut it short, I'll dye it red or blue. All I really want is just to want to dye. Sorry for confusing you with these other random ramblings today. Maybe you guys can suggest what color suits me best. I’d very much appreciate it if you will. **PS**: Thank you so much ma'am @carolinacardoza for renewing your sponsorship, I truly appreciate it, gracias! How was your mental health? `0260502022` Yesterday, I have published the first part of my Mental Wellness Bingo, where I got the idea from the other users. Writing the first section allows me to recall those times when I was completely at ease, worrying about nothing but the improvement of my mental health. After I clicked the published button, I started to do my school works, which are due next week, I don’t want to be loaded with a lot of school stuff, and as much as I can, I will always do my works before the due date to lessen the stress that I get from school. And last night I was able to turn in two activities just before I fell asleep, and it feels so satisfying to turn in too early lol.     And so for today, I will be writing the continuation of yesterday’s article since I split yesterday’s article into two. So, here it is. Pajama Day **✔** Yeah, I do wear pajamas most of the time because it is one of my most comfortable clothes that I wear. Learn Something New **✔** I do really love being able to discover and learn something new from different things, from the smallest to the biggest. And these past few weeks I've gotten to learn a few Spanish words and construct a whole sentence. I was able to learn about different weird cultures and beliefs from other countries that piqued my interest. Being able to learn something new is like another achievement. Deep Breathing **✔** Deep breathing is one of the most helpful ways to calm my mind. And honestly, it helps me calm down when a sudden panic attack strikes. Watch a movie or TV **✔** Watching some movies is one of my comfort things. I’ve been binge watching some movies these days, and I do watch some series too, and the series that I am currently watching right now is Peaky Blinders, I am currently at S3. And please, no spoilers if you've already seen this series. LOL Draw, paint, or make another form of art. **✔** I do doodling also, especially when I am bored or sometimes I just feel like I want to waste my art materials lol. Exercise **❌** I failed again at this. Last time I said that I started to work out again, but then I stopped once again because I no longer have time to do so. I only do stretching, but only once in a blue moon. Reread a favorite book. **✔** Yesss, I started rereading *The House of Hades* again. I had already read this book way back in 2019 when I got it during the Big Bad Wolf sale, and right now I am almost at the end of the book. Make music **❌** Even though I wanted to make some, my voice just doesn’t know how to cooperate. That is why I am only listening and won't even dare try to sing because even the rats and lizards will get mad at me. Reach out to someone who might need help. **✔** To be honest, I really am not good at comforting people and I am not good at saying comforting words, but I would always try my very best to make that person feel better. Play a game with friends. **✔** One of our cousin’s bonding activities is playing an online game. When it comes to online games, they are mostly the people that I get to hang out with and play with because none of my friends like to play online games lol. So, we played CODM with my cousins. Most of them played ML, but they do play CODM too. Take a virtual tour **❌** Nah ah. You know what, before I considered that one of my hobbies when I am bored is taking a virtual tour on a Google map. LOL. But, yeah, I mostly visited countries and states I'd never heard of before, wishing I'd discovered something strange and creepy there lol. But right now, I am no longer doing this. Do one thing you’ll be glad you did later. **✔** I am submitting my school work early because I know for sure that there will be another batch of activities that our professors will surely send. And guess what? Yes, they send another load of never-ending quizzes and activities. Keep a consistent sleep schedule. **❌** No comment, LMAO.   What a relief that I finally got to mark all of these, and I am a little surprised that I have more check marks than x marks. However, this does not imply that I am in good mental health. But doing at least some of these will truly help us to clear our minds from the stressful environment that we are in. ps: Thank you so much ate @Bloghound for the renewal :> ***Thank you guys for stopping by. I really appreciate your presence here.*** ***Stay hydrated and stay safe.*** ***See you on my next blog!***

Know your Mental Wellness `0250502022` Hello there, lovelies, my wholesome read cash buddies. How’s it going? I hope you guys had a great day. I have noticed that there are a lot of people starting to get worried about the never-ending blood bath of the crypto market, and I myself must admit that I am a little worried too, since I am also a hodler. Aside from the bloody market, I also notice how other people react if both the noise and read cash platforms are no longer operating and finally meet their end. Well, we wouldn't know what lies ahead. No one can predict what the future holds. We all know that nothing lasts forever, but let’s just all hope that these platforms will stay longer than we expect them to be.   All of us have been through a lot in our lives, and sometimes we forget to prioritize and give ourselves a break from the stressful virtual and real world. So, I got an idea for what I will be writing today, I got this idea after reading sis @Jijisaur **article** today. And thanks to her, I was able to create something to write about. A special thanks to the one who initiated this topic. You guys are truly a lifesaver. You just saved me from being unproductive today teehee. https://read.cash/@Jijisaur/mental-wellness-bingo-882bf899   So, here’s my own version of my Mental Wellness Bingo! https://i.pinimg.com/564x/62/8e/f0/628ef038515e9f86544c4867c7f59035.jpg **Spend time in Nature** Last week, I was able to unwind and go hiking with my cousins at the same place where we camped last time. Although it was a very tiring hike because the route was so steep and rocky that it made our knees shake every time we took a step. But the muscle pain and tiredness will automatically be gone when we finally reach the top and see the relaxing view of our province's life. Perks of living in the province.   **Call someone you care about** I am the type of person who doesn't like taking calls, not unless they're important. I don’t usually call someone because they are the ones who will call me. I always prefer texting and exchanging messages rather than taking calls.   **Watch virtual concerts** I don’t spend thousands of pesos on a concert that I am not even there. Lol. I only watch virtual concerts once they are already done and have already been uploaded to another site such as YouTube, or I only watch live concert videos that were taken by someone who attended the concert.   **Listen to an audiobook** I don’t usually listen to audiobooks, but I do listen to podcasts, especially if it’s a horror story and the narrator has this spine-chilling voice that gives you a thrill.   **Take a break from technology** I do restrain myself from spending too much time on my laptop and phone, especially when I feel like I have been so stressed lately and need some time to take a break from gadgets.   **Write a journal** I already consider my blogs here in read cash to be my journal or diary, and I find myself more comfortable sharing my daily happenings in my life with you guys.   **Declutter one space** I have been so productive in cleaning my room and fixing my bed. I always fix my stuff, especially on my study table where I mostly do my work.   **Make a playlist** Some of you here know that I am a music lover and I do listen to music every day, and yes, I make a playlist, mostly a playlist that depends on my mood. I create a playlist for myself, not for someone who doesn’t even know I exist and surely will never be mine. Ouch. :<   **Try a new recipe** I do really love baking and becoming innovative when it comes to food. I love baking and making pastries and creating something that will get into my head. Just the other day, I created an iced coffee that is not a regular iced coffee that everyone can easily make. It just suddenly came into my mind when I watched a *mukbang* video on YouTube lol.   I notice that this is getting long and I don’t want you guys to read a long blog. lol, I will just split it into two articles and publish the other one tomorrow. I truly enjoyed writing this one. Thanks for initiating this topic. This saved me from a mental block lol. ***Thank you guys for dropping by. I really appreciate your presence here.*** ***Stay hydrated and stay safe always.*** ***See you on my next blog!***

Not for the faint of heart `0240502022` How strong are your stomach and heart when you see something gory and awful, even whether in movies or in real life? How strong can you hold your disgust if you see something that makes you throw up? There are different kinds of people in the world. There are those kinds of people who aren’t bothered by seeing something that is disturbing, either in a movie or in real life. There are also these kinds of people who have weak guts and could easily be bothered and disturbed just by seeing some blood, even though it’s not real. If you’re the type of person who didn’t bother watching some gore-related stuff, then I guess that this article for today is for you.   The other day I published an article about the genres that I usually prefer whenever I am watching or reading some good stories. The genres that I prefer are most likely horror and something gore because I love the suspense that it brings. Before, I really hated these genres because, honestly, I easily get traumatized by a disturbing scene, whether it’s in a movie or not. If I see a scene in a movie that has a lot of blood, that scene will then bother me for a couple of days and leave me traumatized by it. But the funny thing is, look at me now. It has suddenly become my favourite genre lol.   So, this article that I am writing right now is basically a movie recommendation for those movie lovers out there who love to binge-watch some movies. BUT, a quick warning for those people who can’t stand watching disturbing stuff. If some of these movies are quite disturbing and make you feel uncomfortable, then I suggest you not watch them.   Not for the weak heart. Midsommar This movie is all about a group of friends who get invited to take the place of one of their friends for their thesis subject. But little did they realize that the paradise-looking location they visited was not what they expected. The people, the traditions, and everything are so odd. They had no idea that the group of people they had been with was a cult. This movie is not suggested and recommended for minors because it contains some explicit content.   Would you rather? A disturbing version of a "would you rather" game where whatever the choices that have been asked, they have to act up in order to save their lives and be the last man standing in the game. Whoever the winner is, will get whatever they desire. The game was initiated by an aristocrat who owns a foundation that made their family known. The majority of those who took part in the game was heavily in debt or in desperate need of money.   The Human Centipede, parts 1 & 2: The Human Centipede is truly quite a disturbing movie because of a human version of a centipede. This movie was known before, and I guess most of you here have already watched this movie.   Sadness This is kind of like the Taiwanese version of the Korean zombie series "Happiness". I don’t know why I find the title of the movie a little funny. Well, maybe because they have the same storyline of Happiness. But the sadness is more gore and disturbing than the happiness, and it includes a lot of explicit content. The movie was about the kind of disease that made people go wild and sane. But the thing is that what they desired before they got infected by the diseases is what will be their goal until they satisfy themselves. I still have so much to say and recommend, but I guess I will just end it here and might do another batch of movie recommendations. Viewer discretion is advised for all these disturbing movies. Watch at your own risk! A Thankful Day Our family has been through a lot of challenges these past few months. These are challenges that really strengthen our trust and bond as a whole family and make us even stronger for each other. There's no perfect family and there's no family in this world who hasn't faced challenges in their lives. We all have different struggles and obstacles each of our families has encountered. But you know, what makes a family bond stronger is the problems and challenges that they face and solve together as a family. You gotta trust each other with prayers because no matter what the problem is, it can easily be solved with the help of each other. Yesterday we had a family gathering and a celebration for our cousin's first birthday. They live in Canada, but they wanted to have a celebration as well in the Philippines. It is a double celebration: being thankful that we overcame the challenges that we encountered and a birthday celebration for our cousin. Our family is a religious family, especially our grandparents, who were so religious. It's been our family's tradition to always have a family gathering. Every time we overcome a new challenge in our family or receive a great blessing, our grandpa will always have a celebration in regards to that. It's like being thankful for the blessings we have and making the bond between us stronger than ever. So far, we haven't encountered problems in our family that involve siblings' fights and conflicts. Because, not to brag, our family is not like that. Whenever our aunt or uncle has a conflict, they will always try to fix it right away before it gets big because we don't want our grandparents to worry. We all know that a typical Filipino family (not all) always has a family conflict, especially when it's about who will own the land and the other problems that involve money. But the most common conflict is over "who will own the land." The most common source of the issues for every Filipino family (not all). So, yesterday we had a celebration and a family gathering for being thankful and for our cousin's first birthday. We celebrated how thankful we are for the blessings that we have received in our family. God always showers us with bountiful blessings. We are thankful that our grandma is getting better now. Even though she's still bedridden, at least she's here with us in the house and she can finally communicate with us slowly. Our relatives came over and even our family who were living in the city. They really put time and effort to be able to come home and spend the day with the rest of the family. The house again was filled with people and it makes the house feel so alive. Even though our grandma couldn't name all of the people in the house even her own children, it shows in her eyes how happy she was seeing these people calling her. I must say that I am one of the luckiest people; the luckiest daughter, granddaughter, and lucky cousin, since I come from a family that is always looking out for each other and helping each other to strengthen the family relationships through generations and to the following generations of this family. We are quite fortunate to have been nurtured by grandparents who are highly family-oriented. Even when there are minor disagreements, we always prioritize the well-being of the entire family. I am proud to express that I am extremely fortunate to be a member of this wonderful and loving family. What genres are you more into? `0210502022` Have you been watching or binge-watching some movies and series lately? I mean, I couldn’t blame you for staying in your room all day and just watching your favorite Kdrama series or your favorite anime movies. Because even I, am like that, and definitely most of the time. Watching movies and watching anime is my kind of comfort whenever I am not in the mood to do things like what I usually do. You know, we all have those kinds of moments in our lives where we feel like not doing anything. It’s like an unmotivated day for us, where we feel like we deserve a little break and can spend the rest of the day enjoying our favorite anime and movies without worrying about other things. And when it comes to watching, whether it is a Hollywood movie or an anime movie, I always go for sci-fi, horror, crime, thriller, mystery, and something gore genres. Because I just like the suspense it brings whenever I watch that kind of genre. Honestly, it is my favorite genre, and to tell you honestly, I don’t usually like watching romance. Well, no offense to those romance lovers in here, lol. It’s not that I hate it; I do watch it sometimes, especially when it’s a romcom, but not all the time. I am more into stuff that gives me chills and suspense every time I watch it. I do watch love stories, but I like watching love stories if they are tragic love stories. LMAO. Just so you know, I am not bitter. It’s just that, that’s just the type of genre that I like. That’s all. Because I find some of them to be boring and they’re no longer giving me those ***"kilig vibes"*** whenever I watch some romance and love stories. Romance should be classified as a fantasy because it does not occur in real life. LOL. Just kidding. I like watching something that involves mind-boggling scenes that make the viewer get intrigued and interested in the movie. Such as mystery and detective films, which refreshed our minds with the interesting stuff. One thing I like is crime and mystery movies, especially when it comes to finding out who the culprit is or solving some cases or codes. Those kinds of movies make me excited to watch, like I don’t want to skip even just a second of the movie as I want to know every second of the movie. Before falling asleep, I also have this habit of watching crime and unsolved mystery documentaries. I know I am not the only one doing this kind of thing before going to sleep. Well, I guess some of you find it weird and creepy at the same time. Well, as for me, it is not. For me, it is a mental exercise and it boosts my critical thinking skills whenever I watch this kind of stuff every night. It is like my nighttime routine. You will definitely find me weird and creepy. It’s because I hate blood. Yes, it gives me nausea whenever I see blood or someone bathing in their own blood. It makes me feel sick. But I like watching gore movies. LOL. But the more I watched that kind of stuff, the less I feared blood, and I no longer feel sick every time I see some blood in every accident on my Facebook feed. In fact, I watch different kinds of surgeries and it doesn’t make me feel sick at all. You know what, back when I was in high school, I really wanted to become a forensic scientist. It’s because of the influence of the stories that I read and the movies that I watched since I like watching detective and crime movies. Sherlock Holmes influenced me the most in my desire to become a forensic scientist. I have read a lot of murder mystery and detective books before and that intrigues me to study and research what forensic scientists are. But then, after many years had passed, I ended up studying hospitality management. LOL. What about yours? What genres are you more into? An opportunity abroad, should I grab it? `0200502022` Hey, what is up, my super wholesome read cash buddies? How’s it going? I hope you guys had a great day! Yeah, it’s been a rough week for all of us since each one of us has been through different battles in our lives. But all we have to do is to get up and move forward towards our goal of success. These past few days have been rough for me because it is also our "hell week" or our midterm examination. But thankfully, we’re already done with all of our exams in each subject, and we can finally be able to relax, especially our brains, and take a deep breath without worrying about school stuff. I just hope that I will be able to pass all of those exams. Fingers crossed. **An opportunity abroad, should I go for it?** Last Thursday, we went back to our university to attend our orientation for our on-the-job training that will happen soon. I’m torn between getting excited and anxious as well. So, our orientation was all about the opportunities and offers from the agency that partnered with our university. One of the tourism and hospitality agencies in Thailand wanted an intern from our university to work in one of their hotels in Thailand. That is why they are offering us the opportunity to work abroad in the country of Thailand. Before that, we were asked if we were interested in working abroad for our on-the-job training. Then all of us in our class were listed as interested students to work abroad. Well, not literally full of interest, but we just tried listing our names, and also, it was our class president’s idea to just list our names without consulting us, lol. So, I arrived at our university at 12 pm, since I was just taking the bus, and the orientation would start at 1 pm in our university hall. Honestly, you guys, I literally got lost in our university because it’s been so long since my last visit and mostly everything in our school has changed and there were lots of new buildings already, so I forgot where the hall is, lol. Thankfully, I saw one of my friends and we went together to the hall. When we arrived, there were a lot of students already and it looked like we were the only students left that hadn’t arrived inside the hall yet. I was surprised to see a lot of students who were interested in an internship abroad. The speaker then started his speech about the orientation, and I honestly got interested in everything he said because it can really benefit me in the near future if I really pursue this course that I am taking. They have said that they need some interns from our university and mostly girls. Well, we know that females are usually needed in the tourism industry. The opportunity that they offered to work abroad was so good because you don’t have to worry about everything when you arrive in Thailand. The country of Thailand is where we will work if we ever decide to work abroad. The agency said that they have prepared the apartments where the interns will be staying, that they are rent-free, and that the food and breakfast are free as well. They are the ones who will process the student visas that the interns need and everything that is needed to work abroad, especially the plane tickets and everything. And we all know how much it costs if we compute everything that is needed. That is why they reminded us to prepare a budget of PHP 85,000 and that is already fixed for everything that an intern needed. But that's not included in the passport and for the medical since it’s the student’s responsibility. We will be staying in Thailand for three months, and the good thing is that each student will receive an allowance worth PHP 15,000 every month. So, the students will get PHP45,000 for the three months of being interns in one of Thailand’s hotels. So, it looks like you just got your money back from the 85K that you paid to them. Aside from the work abroad in Thailand that they offered, they have also offered work abroad in Japan. Yes, in the Land of the Rising Sun, which is my dream country. But in Japan, they are not offering internships in Japan, they are only offering them to those people who want to work in the tourism industry. It is a job available to recently graduated students who majored in tourism or hospitality management. Right now, I don’t really know if I should go for it, but to tell you honestly, I really wanted to experience working abroad, and it is a great opportunity to become an intern in a place outside of our country. It makes us able to look for a job easily since we have already experienced working abroad. But as much as I want it, what is stopping me is the financial problem thingy. Where can we get that 85 freakin' thousand? If only the market was high enough, then I would go for it without hesitation. But maybe I will go for it. I just hope so. lol. **Thank you for stopping by!** **See you on my next blog. Stay hydrated and stay safe always!**

Happiest Birthday, Mother Dear `0190502022` Hello there, my dear read cash buddies. How’s it going? I hope you guys had a great day and spent your day full of fun and positivity. As for me, I really had fun yesterday. Well, not literally fun in a hyper mode, just fun spending the day with my family and being able to laugh along with them is already enough. You already know what my write-up for today is all about, as written in the title of this article. Yesterday was my precious mother’s birthday, and she is already 59 years old. Yes, she’s already old because she’s almost turned into a senior citizen. We all know that our mom is not getting younger already, so we really need to look for her. My mom was still working as one of the staff in our barangay hall. We have been telling her to stop working and resign because she’s no longer as strong and energetic as before. Because there were times when there was an event and everyone would get busy, especially the staff in our barangay, as they were in charge of almost everything. My mom would sometimes return home very late because of too much work that needed to be finished. When she gets home, she complains that her hands hurt from all of the paperwork that needs to be encoded and written. We have been telling her a hundred times that she should quit her job already because, at that age, she is supposed to be in the house, taking care of the house, and not waking up early in the morning to go to work. But every time we told her that, she would then say that we should just let her do what she wants because she wants to have an income too to provide for us. Well, my siblings are employed, but she just wanted to work and have her own income. Yesterday, she left home early and went to her workplace. When I woke up, she had already left the house. Later, I saw her Facebook story and couldn't help but smile at how happy my mother appeared to be. Her colleagues did a little surprise for her; they bought flowers and balloons and some cakes and food. They then sang "Happy Birthday" to her, and I can really tell how happy my dearest mom is when she receives those little surprises. It was already 7 in the evening when she returned home yesterday. She brought the cakes and some spaghetti leftovers that they had. My grandpa handed me some money to buy a roasted chicken because we would have our dinner all together. We just celebrated our mom’s birthday in a very simple way. We couldn’t hold a small party or get together because our grandma was home and she was not allowed to get exposed in noisy surroundings, as her doctor said. Because it can make her feel uncomfortable and could trigger her brain if exposed to a chaotic and noisy place. So, we celebrated my mother’s birthday by having dinner together as a whole family. We bought some foods that are just good for us. When my brother arrived, he brought a box of cake and a small bouquet for my mom. My brother was always like this; it’s like his yearly routine whenever someone in our family celebrates a birthday. He would never forget to buy a cake for that celebrant. After we had our dinner, Grandpa then went close to Grandma and said that today was their oldest daughter’s birthday and pointed toward my mom. My grandma just smiled at her. She couldn’t remember all of our names, but she knew the people with whom she rarely interacts. We asked her if she had a daughter named *** and then she said yes, but she didn’t know that my mom was just right beside her. My mother’s birthday was simple but memorable because we got to celebrate our mom’s birthday with our grandma at home. :> Lead Image https://images.saymedia-content.com/.image/t_share/MTc0NDM2ODU0ODMyMDQ3NzUw/happy-birthday-mom-images.jpg ***Thank you guys for reading!*** ***See you on my next blog! She's Finally Home! `050182022` Hello there, healthy read cash peeps! How's it going? What a blessed morning, everyone! I hope you guys have a blessed day ahead. As for me, it is indeed a blessed morning for all of us because, finally, our grandma is home with us.  I have shared it here what happened to our grandma, and it was a very traumatizing day for all of us, and it's too hard to forget in our memory as it already sticks in our memory the moments it happened to our grandma. Our grandma had a stroke while she was taking a bath, and we only found out when the water was already flooding the kitchen area. And if it wasn't for the water, we wouldn't be able to know that she was already unconscious. The doctor even said that if we didn't get him to the hospital early, she might end up doa. But thank God that she didn't turn off the faucet and it flooded the kitchen area. After so many days of staying in the hospital, she's finally home. It's so sad because we couldn't visit her when she was in the hospital because they wouldn't allow visitors because of the COVID-19 restrictions. They only allowed one person per patient, and that person could no longer go out. She was admitted to the city hospital, and our only way of communicating is through video call. Our aunt was the one who looked for her and our uncle, who lives in the city, served as her contact in the outside world. Our uncle was the one who gave our aunt what she needed, and he would simply hand the items to the security guard, who would then deliver them to our grandmother's room. The sad thing is when our grandma says that she's upset because no one visited her in person, not even a single one. We explained to her that we couldn't visit her because the hospital wouldn't allow us. Every time we video call, her memory is not as sharp as before. She started to lose her memory and she keeps calling names for the person who's not even there. She can already talk a little, only a few small words. She'll smile if she hears something that she knows.  On Monday, our aunt called to say that they would be home. When our grandpa knew that our Lola would be home, he was so excited and he even told us to clean the house and everything. You can tell through his eyes how much he misses our grandma. When our aunt called to say that they were on the way, we all waited outside the house waiting for them. Our other relatives came in and also waited for our grandmother's return.  They arrived at exactly 7 pm, and when our grandpa saw our grandma on a stretcher, his tears started falling. He went close to our Lola and kissed her forehead. He really misses our grandma so much. It's a precious scene to see how strong their love for each other is. They are each other's strength, and they will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary this June.  Our grandma is now bedridden, but she can move her hands slowly. She was asleep when they arrived, and she woke up when it was already 9 p.m. When she opened her eyes, we can tell that she wondered where she was. Maybe she thought that she was still in the hospital. We told her that she's already at home with us, her family. The sad thing is she didn't know any of us, not even our Lolo, her husband. And we understand it's because of the medicine that affects her memory.  But the next day, she remembers and knows some of us. But she still calls me, who's not even here. When I ask her if she knows me, she smiles and nods at me. She'll smile and nod if she knows who the person is. Last night, our grandpa lay down beside grandma and kissed her lips and bid her goodnight.  A precious scene for a precious couple ❣️. **Thank you for your prayers everyone! May God showers you with bountiful blessings.**
