I've seen a wide range of films in many genres. Horror, thrillers, romance, or science fiction. Every year, thousands of films are released. Others are fantastic, some are poor, and the worst are some films that were underappreciated. Every year, thousands of films are released, and we often miss some hidden gems. Here are some underrated masterpiece films that you should see. ****CITY OF EMBER**** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CeHf7UhHpmE The adventure and sci-fi film The City of Ember was released in 2008. This is one of my all-time favorite films. After seeing it, I was completely fascinated with it. Despite the fact that 13 years have gone, I was still expecting for a sequel. "The City of Ember" is a city buried deep beneath the earth that serves as a refuge for human survivors after a terrible event upstairs. The city of Ember is in a state of crisis two and a half centuries after its founding. Chronic supply shortages and blackouts ravage the city, which is deprived of natural light, and the population is plagued by a fatal coughing condition. Ember's remaining residents, who are primarily poor and frequently engulfed in absolute darkness, are terrified and fearful of coming disaster. I highly recommend this one. This is the adventure of two teenagers who find a way to save their city from total darkness by following the clues left by the original builders of the city of Ember. ****ORPHAN**** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5BSLNAKIZs One of the best psychological horror film I've seen so far. This is the story of an orphan girl named Esther. She was adopted by a couple, Kate and John. They decided to adopt a kid after they lost their unborn baby. They fell in love with this young girl, who was named Esther because of her angelic face. She was unique and different from other kids. But there were mysterious and dangerous happenings right after they brought home their new adopted kid. Kate then begin to suspect that there is something wrong with Esther. ****BLOOD DIAMOND**** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yknIZsvQjG4 The title alludes to blood diamonds, which are diamonds extracted in war torn countries and sold to fund disputes, benefiting warlords and diamond firms all over the world. Solomon, played by (Djimon Hounsou), is abducted and forced to labor in the mines, where he discovers and conceals a precious diamond. When Danny (Leonardo DiCaprio) finds out about it, he offers to help him locate his family in exchange for the diamond. This is the story of a father who will go to any length to reclaim his son who has been taken by a terrorist. ****127 HOURS**** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlhLOWTnVoQ This is the true story of mountaineer Aron Ralston's incredible journey to save himself after a massive stone crushes his arm and confines him in a remote canyon in Utah. While canyoneering alone near Moab, Utah, a mountain climber becomes buried beneath a boulders and must resort to desperate means of survival. Ralston spends the next five days examining his life and surviving the elements until he realizes he has the bravery and wherewithal to remove himself by any means necessary, including scaling a 65-foot wall and hiking nearly eight miles before being rescued. This is the story of Lucy, who was portrayed by Scarlet Johansson who studied in Taipei, Taiwan and was tricked by her boyfriend, who she thought was just a normal business contract, but turned out to be a drug dealer. She was used as a mule to smuggle the drugs back to their home by the Taiwanese businessman, Mr. Jang. ****ESCAPE ROOM (2019)**** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dSKUoV0SNI Six strangers were invited to a mysterious escape room where they competed to solve puzzles and hidden clues to win $10,000. Everything seems fun at the beginning, where it looks like just a normal escape room. But as the room changes, so does the difficulty and danger in each room they pass.
