For those of you that are new to my MidNight Gems series. Welcome to this nightly trip on which we will uncover & recover some amazing songs & covers.

Yeah Yeah, I know it´s been a bit girly, girly lately. I have been too much in touch with my softer feminine side I guess. So I promise that this next Gem Session will be noisy and all about the boys.

Because look what the cat dragged in, it´s the boys from RHCP with a brand new song. First song with Frusciante in 16 years....but Anthony´s accent has turned....leprechaun-Irish??? Still very happy starting this trip with these guys.

These guys bring back so many memories, they are such a crowd-pleaser as girls shake their hips to the riffs, and well it´s just cool enough for the boys to join. And me, I was just the provider of this little show.

Some day my career will be over, and it didn´t happen. I am still playing and screaming "I just wanna Live" and if you wanna live another day put your peace signs up, just like Mr. Maiz.

Well, guess that the lifestyle of being rich and famous made me a bit numb to the newer stuff today. This is a trip down memory lane, my lane. So I´ll give me an Encore and you keep dancing.

4. Numb/Encore - Linkin Park ft. Jay Z 

Watching that crowd go crazy was truly a violent pornography sometimes. Play them as puppets, make them jump and I tell them how high as well. Damn those day´s ...well nights were so wonderful.

5. System Of A Down - Violent Pornography

Unless Bob was there, because Bob had become such a bore since he stopped drinking. A bore unless I hit his SKA button and bob would go all punk on me.

Guess Bob needed a bit more time at the Santeria sanatorium to cool down and chillex. So let´s calm down Bob´s ass a bit.

Damn that Bob was a real big fish on the dance floor trying to take on me, but I got the bouncers backing me up...

So it was bye bye Bomba Bob. There is the door, now go and kiss the curb you punk ass bastard. And with Bob removed the dancefloor exploded and there was no rest for that wicked Bob, just Kontrust.

What the fluff are midnight gems?

Somewhere lost in time, trying to escape out of the rabbit hole back into the rat race there is a vacuum..... that´s the place where midnight gems are found.

My Midnight Gems will try to uncover & recover those beautiful songs that nobody ever noticed or might have been forgotten.

Who the fluff am I?

Being a former DJ playing about everything and having an uncompleted study of radio journalism. I have been wanting to do this for years....Thought about it many nights and guess now it´s time to finally take it to the streets.
