For those of you that are new to my MidNight Gems series. Welcome to this nightly trip on which we will uncover & recover some amazing songs & covers.
Sometimes things are better after a while, these songs were all found during my midnight trippings....but never found their way to your plate dear reader....but tonight we will be enjoying leftovers and they taste soooo good.
I don´t understand a word of it but this song soothes my lost soul and wondering mind.
1. Tor i Helheim live at abandoned military camp
Let´s hold on to that vibe for a while and I will just let you be here with me tonight.
2. WOLF LARSEN "If I Be Wrong"
Mama Said Knock you out, hell no that´s so 80´s in this case mama said way worse things..... as I don´t want you to go right now. Love the song and how it´s orchastrated, very original.
3. Cat Clyde - Mama Said
Mama said start a new life...like an upgrade to your old one mama? That´s truly no good for your ugly ass babies. Jessie is really impressing, been listening to several of her songs and she´s been knocking me out every time (well almost).
4. Jessie Murph - Upgrade
Another Knock Out is MIIA, her own songs still need some more work, but this one hits like a Sledgehammer.
5. Rihanna – Sledgehammer (MIIA Cover)
And here´s one more that has been on the shelf for way too long, there was a layer of mold growing on this one...that´s how long I have been holding on to this one.... Luckily with eyes closed Mold feels like velvet.
6. OMNIMAR - Feels Like Velvet
And now we are doing this slightly gothic thingy let´s keep going, My name is Life, My Name is Death, My name is Morgana and if you don´t know me ....you should read up on your classics. Love this little witch of a song.
7. Trobar de Morte - Morgana
These guys also been on my plate for quite a while and especially this song, how to mix metal and western Ennio Morricone eat your heart out.
8. LORD OF THE LOST - Viva Vendetta (TRVE WESTERN VERSION)
Talking about moldy songs and artist kept on the shelf too long....how about these two...they were legends when I was little and they keep holding on. Just the kick of that guitar and those voices right out of the 80´s .... true legends never die.

What the fluff are midnight gems?
Somewhere lost in time, trying to escape out of the rabbit hole back into the rat race there is a vacuum..... that´s the place where midnight gems are found.
My Midnight Gems will try to uncover & recover those beautiful songs that nobody ever noticed or might have been forgotten.
Who the fluff am I?
Being a former DJ playing about everything and having an uncompleted study of radio journalism. I have been wanting to do this for years....Thought about it many nights and guess now it´s time to finally take it to the streets.
