For those of you that are new to my MidNight Gems series. Welcome to this nightly trip on which we will uncover & recover some amazing songs & covers.
Tonight we will do a different set... as these two guys deserve a little spotlight after years of delivering Midnight Gems....and tonight´s episode started with this next little miracle that I stumbled across.
1. Marlies & Robby Valentine - When loving you is wrong
I will not bore you with that ancient sweet heart of a hit that got Robby started back in the 90´s
But this guy is a piece of work, the next one was released a couple of months ago and you gotta love that bombastic eclectic style, but if you like Queen, Aryon and Jim Steiman you probably will enjoy tonight episode.

And don't think this guy is a one-trick pony...
3. Robby Valentine - Break the Chain
This guy has a long history which included this co-up Valensia and they called themselves V.....how did they end up with a name like that will probably for always remain a mystery.
I must admit it´s not their best work but still, it uncovers a lot of their Queenish and Beatle-esque roots.

For those of you that now go....that Valensia guy you mentioned him before right?
Yes I did, I told you about that Goddes GAIA
But If we are going back to his first Album I really want to shill this next one. Toto eat your heart out......

Now as Halloween is around the corner let´s end Valensia´s Legacy with this Cabinet of Curiosities.

And if it wasn´t clear enough......let´s see where Valensia found his inspiration as a young dude.

This trip can only end one way..... with what probably is one of the most amazing and personal songs Valensia has written....we should end this bombastic journey with a bang.

Somewhere lost in time, trying to escape out of the rabbit hole back into the rat race there is a vacuum..... that´s the place where midnight gems are found.
My Midnight Gems will try to uncover & recover those beautiful songs that nobody ever noticed or might have been forgotten.
Who the fluff am I?
Being a former DJ playing about everything and having an uncompleted study of radio journalism. I have been wanting to do this for years....Thought about it many nights and guess now it´s time to finally take it to the streets.
