What the fluff are midnight gems?
Somewhere lost in time, trying to escape out of the rabbit hole back into the rat race there is a vacuum..... that´s the place where midnight gems are found.
Midnight Gems will be a series that will try to uncover & recover those beautiful songs that nobody ever noticed, or might have been forgotten.
How peaceful the world is when most humans are sleeping.

That slow beat the drives this song to it´s climax....it´s like the heartbeat of the next song....Make sure you´ve locked the windows and it´s best to not invite strangers into your house tonight.
2. Gerard McMann - Cry Little Sister
Few 80´s Icons knew to hitback 30 years later, but some did and possibly matured enough to do it even better than before or do you think it´s too much?

Having taken that on of my list there is another Epic Icon that tried it, but with less success
4. Alphaville - Carry your flag
It´s thanks to Alphaville that I can feel Forever Young, so I will keep carrying a torch for them and soldier on.
5. DI-RECT - SOLDIER ON
Soldier On was not meant as, but became the Dutch song to unite during the first months of the pandemic. And lifted the DI-RECT to a new level of fame....and no I do not know these guys personal but I spend some holidays with there sound engineer during the 00´s
6. HAEVN - Throw Me a Line
Lovely haunting melodies....and in heaven he is....Or if it´s gates are infinitely closed all Ghost´s still wondering this earth.... only visible when the veils are at there thinnest
7. Ghost - He Is
Papa did a great job on his cover of Sympathy for the Devil...but that would be to obvious...i needed something epic, something dark and black as Night
