Nothing is free

2ND ARTICLE IN THE MONTH.
It's not a free world. Do you consider this world as a free world?
Nothing is free my dear reader. Whatever you consider free has been paid for by someone.
A group of nysc members were posted to a particular village to serve the nation. They were four male and two female, six altogether. These four men considered the primary place of their assignment as a free world. They felt since there were no parents, relatives or church members to watch over them, they were in freedom. Their plan from the orientation camp was to do whatever they liked during the service year and repent later after service.
The village they were posted to harboured witches. The first night they arrived in the village, a group of four secondary school girls went to the rooms of each of the four Corp members. Their aim was to sleep with the men and suck their virtues. This continued and they thought what they were doing was free. They fell for them. In the final month of their service year, one of them was killed by the girls while the other three contacted HIV AIDS. They would no longer be useful in life not even to their families unless there was a divine intervention.
So you see, nothing is free in this world. If you see people who are rich today, the money did not just grow out of nowhere. It might be their parents who paid the price of hard work. Even those who do money rituals do not get the money free of charge. They have to pay the price of sacrificing their parents, siblings, close relatives or friends. Even though salvation is free for us to accept, Christ paid the sacrifice for our salvation with His death on the cross of Calvary.
Do you wonder why some rich people are unwilling to help the poor and even their family members? This is because they paid a huge price for their wealth and you were not there when they were suffering.
My dear reader, whatever comes your way that looks free, check it very well. It must have a price beneath. Be sure you are willing and capable of paying the price before you accept.
Thanks for reading. Happy new month once again 🤗

God prospered Isaac

1ST ARTICLE IN THE MONTH.
Happy new month 💐🥀🌹
The reality about life is that there are wet and dry seasons, summer, winter, spring and autumn. In human life, there could be a season of abundance and at other times, fasting. Food is one of the most important and common need . It has a direct link with our health. Famine, a season characterized by the absence of food, be it spiritual and physical is a state of dryness and dearth. It can lead to spiritual or physical death.
The challenge of survival during famine for Isaac with his wife, twin sons and his servant was daunting. Isaac was a heir of God's promises and covenant with Abraham. Faced with adversity, his initial response was relocation to Gerar. Our covenant keeping God, who always intervene in times of need, appeared to warn him against going down to Egypt because of the famine. He obeyed divine instruction and received the fulfillment of God's promised blessings to Abraham. Amidst trials and temptations, Isaac grew in prosperity. Believers should seek the mind of God in times of hardship so as not to take rash decisions with disastrous consequences. God is faithful and keeps the obedient even during famine.
God is always ready to guide His people. He uses his omniscience, omnipresent and omnipotence to guide, preserve, establish, strengthen and bless His children. Ignorance of this truth brought disastrous consequences on the family of Elimelech and Naomi. God assures those who fear and trust Him and lead uprights lifestyle by Faith in Christ of divine sustenance during famine.
Isaac wanted to go to Egypt to find greener pastures. God told him to stay and he obeyed. He lived in Gerar with his wife. Prompt and complete obedience pleases God. He demands practical obedience to His word in our daily living, relationship, secular engagements, marriage plans, family and spiritual service. Obedience is better than sacrifice and opens the door of divine blessings.
There was a day that a common temptation to lie surfaced. Instead of trusting the sheltering power of God, he decided to deceive Abimelech and his people out of fear by calling Rebecca his sister. Lying was a besetting sin in Abraham's family as it is in many lives today. The unchanging word of God reveals that
*the fearful, and unbelieving and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimestone: which is the second death. (Revelation 21:8).*
When Abimelech discovered that Isaac lied to deceive him, he was not happy and rebuked him. The fear of man or death enslaves, but faith in God sets free. Believers should trust in the lord for the protection of their lives, loved ones and properties. He has all the power and means to protect His children. Those who yield to pressure to lie or cover-up the truth should urgently return to the Lord, repent and forsake their sins and exercise faith in the cleansing power of Christ's blood for their salvation or restoration.
Children, successors and new generation can continue to enjoy the benefits of the good promises and covenant God made with their parents and predecessors as long as they continue in the path of obedience to His word. Heaven is our goal; eternal inheritances are stored up for us there. Only the transformed, truthful, trusting and triumphant believer will enter heaven and possess the Divine blessings.
Happy Sunday 🌹 💐

If we never meet again
A bright day to you today. Thanks for your lovely comments on my previous articles. God bless you richly 👑.
On November 5, 1994 Ronald Reagan, a former president of the United States of America, in his last public appearance wrote a farewell address to the nation, informing the people that he had been diagnosed with a disease, an incurable neurological disorder in which the death of brain cells causes memory loss and cognitive decline. In the address, he wrote,
*I now begin the journey that will lead me into the sunset of my life.*
Reagan gave his parting message earlier because he felt he would not have another chance to say goodbye.
Like President Reagan, I understand the necessity of saying what has to be said urgently giving the uncertainties that characterize our world. So friend, if we never meet again on this side of eternity, if we never get the chance to say goodbye to each other because it's very possible that our paths may never cross again, then consider these as my parting words to you:
*The time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; and they that weep as though they wept not; and they that rejoice as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy as though they possessed not and they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passes away 1st Corinthians 7:29-31.*
Time is short whether you realise it or not. It speeds on and every passing moment tells us so.
Since this is a fact of life, permit me to ask you these questions. Is there a chance we will meet on the other side of life, in the city of gold where there is no day or night, a season where there will be no crying, sorrow, pain, disappointment or any form of hardship. Are you living your life according to the dictates of God's word or of the world. As you go through this fast-paced world, where the love of many christians is wanning; sinners are growing worse and going deeper into sin; sinners are becoming more headstrong and rebellious; famine, pestilence, wars and rumours of war permeate the air; anarchy and oppression are becoming the other of the day; terrorism, kidnapping paedophilia and all kinds of atrocities are everywhere, are you making plans for the hereafter?
Jesus will soon come to take His saints home and thereafter judge the rest of the world. Are you prepared to go home with Him or are you waiting for his judgement? He is calling you to repent of your sins and believe the gospel ( Mark 1:15). It is not the will of God that anyone including you should perish but that everyone should come to repentance. There is no sin too much or too small for God to forgive. He says in Isaiah 1:18 *come now and let us reason together ... though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be in red like crimson, they shall be as wool.* Jesus is the way the truth and the life. Come to him by repenting of your sins, and He will accept you, cleanse you with His atoning blood and make you ready for His return. Don't procrastinate! Repent now when you still have the chance to do so.
Thanks for reading. God bless you❣️
Money or love
29TH APRIL, 2022.
74TH ARTICLE IN ALL
The following questions would be answered by me:
Money or first class
Money or love
Science or art
Leader or follower
Salary or hourly
No company or bad company
See the future or travel back in time to correct your mistakes.
MONEY OR FIRST CLASS
Money is important and it solves some problems but not all. The two go alongside each other because without money, I wouldn't be able to pay my school fees to enable me sit for exams that will make me to graduate with first class and to buy necessary materials to aid my academic work. This is complex for me to answer because I can't get first class without money.
LOVE OR MONEY
I choose love over money in marriage. This is because when there is money without love in a family, I can't imagine how that home would look like. I can't even imagine the kind of children that that family would produced to the society. The word of God also says in Proverbs 17 verse 1
*Better is a dry morsel with quietness, than a house full of feasting with strife.*
When there is love in the home, even if there is no money, there will be peace and unity in the home and money will come later. Money *cannot buy true love*.
SCIENCE OR ART
I love art rather than science. I chose to go to art class when I got to senior secondary school one. I have little interest in calculations and there are many calculations in science subjects. Although, I have no choice now that mathematics is part of my compulsory courses in school. So, I prefer art to science.
LEADER OR FOLLOWER
To be a leader, one has to be a follower first to learn from successful leaders. I am still learning and following but, when I get to a place where there is no one willing to take the lead, I will take the lead.
SALARY OR HOURLY
I prefer salary. I love to receive my money in bulk and plan on what to use it for rather than receiving hourly when I will spend it all in a day.
NO COMPANY OR BAD COMPANY
I choose no company to bad company. As we all know that evil companion corrupts good manners. Even if I have the good intention of changing a bad company by joining them, it might not be successful. Besides I don't like company of friends. I prefer to stay alone to think and do other things at my own time and pace without distraction.
SEE THE FUTURE OR TRAVEL BACK IN TIME TO CORRECT YOUR MISTAKES
I choose to travel back in time to correct my mistakes. After correcting my mistakes I can come back to the present. Besides, I don't need to see the future now because I know Who knows tomorrow. My future is in His hands and I'm holding on to Him.
This is a writing prompt given by my friend @Amazing-grace . Write your thoughts on these questions too.
Have a great day 💟

My achievements 🥀💐🌺 and questions about my phone

72ND ARTICLE IN ALL.
Happy new day friends 😄. How was your night🧖? I believe that you had a sound and peaceful sleep🛌.
Four months active journey
I registered this account five months ago and for some reasons I began to use it actively four months ago. It has not been easy actually. Sometimes I don't have topics to write about. Other times, I have topics but not interested in writing anything. But at least, I have written seventy three articles now 😇
More than 1000 views
😄I received a notification a day ago telling me I had more than one thousand views. I was very very active during my first month and I was able to write an article each day due to the fact that we just resumed back to school and we didn't receive burdensome lectures at that time. In proceeding months, I've been on and off just to balance my academics and work.
Seventy eight subscribers
I appreciate you all my loving subscribers. At a time, for a week, I didn't get a single subscriber although I subscribed to other writers. A thought later came to my mind that I should not worry about the number of subscribers I have and that what is the use of having a hundred subscribers when only five of them will visit my articles. Since then, I stopped worrying about my subscribers and focused more on writing articles with good contents and reading other articles by other writers.
An additional sponsor
Yes. Just yesterday morning, when I was thinking about how I would celebrate my four months active journey, I was thinking whether I wouldn't get any new sponsor to celebrate. I checked my notifications and saw a new sponsor 🤓. @Talecharm is my latest sponsor in the house. I also thank my four other sponsors, the shoulders that didn't allow my clothes to fall 🤩(permit my English). Thanks for your love and trust in me to produce great articles. God bless you all.
I would be ungrateful if I do not mention two special people to me(adjust your position so you see the people I want to mention 🤩). The first person is my very first subscriber. @Crownofbeauty0310 . She informed me about this platform and I agreed to give it a trial. I had ups and downs when I first started but she had my back. THANK YOU SO MUCH 💝. The second person is the one and only @TheRandomRewarder. I'm honoured🤠 to be noticed by you right from my first article till now. I appreciate it.
No real article for today as I would only be answering a few questions about my phone.
When did you start using phone?
I started using phone when I was in my third year in the junior secondary school. My dad gave it to me to enable him communicate with me when he wouldn't be at home.
How did you acquire your first phone?
I bought my first phone two years after I graduated from the Senior secondary school I was still waiting to be admitted into my choice of university so, I bought the phone purposely for academic work. And as God would have it, I got admission the following year. I got the money for my first phone from the monthly contributions I made with the money I got from my place of work while awaiting admission.
How many phones have you used?
Since I started using the first phone my dad gave me and till now, I have used 5 phones. The first one I used was Gowin. I also used Samsung. And the last one I used before I purchased mine was Q up. Q up was the last one given to me by my dad before I bought my own.
Is your phone important to you?
My phone is very important to me. I use my phone to communicate with family and friends. They are so precious to me and I have to call them once in a while to know their welfare.
I used my phone for reading. Apart from receiving lectures in class, I love exploring the internet for more ideas about what my lecturers have taught me.
My phone is also important to me because I earn from it. There are so many business transactions I can perform on my phone to get more money and a good example is writing on this platform.
I don't browse the social media a lot but I prefer to watch movies, listen to music and play games on my phone.
If you find these questions interesting, you can write on them too.
Do have a lovely day 💐

Touch not my anointed
27TH APRIL, 2022.
71ST ARTICLE IN ALL.
I got this topic from @Chief_Mekus article and I also have a story to share about it too.
There lived a young man whose name was IDK. He was an orphan. His parents died when he was very young. He had a little sister called Binta. They both lived with their paternal grandmother after the parents' demise. A while later, they were sent to live with other relatives in the city. They were not very well taken care of so, both IDK and Binta made for the streets. IDK dropped out of school and joined a bad gang in order to get money for his sister's education.
He grew up to become the leader of his gang. He even involved the services of an herbalist to aid all their operations. His main work was to rob rich men. He and his gang had a very strong networking. One day, a preacher went to IDK's house to preach to him. He was surprised at the boldness of the preacher. The herbalist came in at that time to receive the objects of sacrifice for the next operation and to was surprised to see the pastor in the house. IDK defended himself and told the pastor to leave before he(IDK) returns. He left the house alone with both the herbalist and the preacher. He preached to the herbalist and he surrendered his life to Christ.
The next day, IDK went to the herbalist's house to complete the sacrifice for their next operation. The herbalist told him that being a new creature in Christ, he could no longer offer sacrifices. IDK became angry and told the herbalist that they would carry out the operation succesfully even without his support. On the day of the operation, they were to double cross a very rich politician who was carrying the sum of 1.5 million naira. The rich man had some security men with him and in the process of the attack, one of the security men was killed and one of the criminals was also killed while others escaped.
IDK decided to take revenge on the pastor who did not allow the sacrifice to be completed. On a Sunday morning, the pastor was in church, ministering when IDK's gang members entered the church and shot at the pastor on the pulpit. The whole congregation scattered and he was rushed to the hospital. At the hospital, the bullet was removed and that evening, IDK was asleep when he had a dream that some people were trying to shoot guns at him and he heard a voice saying ***Touch not my anointed***.
The herbalist came in at the time he woke up. The herbalist already knew that he was the one responsible for the attack on the pastor. The herbalist warned him that touching the Lord's anointed is the greatest mistake he would ever make. IDK wondered what God could do to him for killing just a human being. The next call he got was that his sister in the university had run mad.
Binta was the only hope he had in life. He had put all this effort and all his money in his little sister so as to make her to be educated and become great so that he'll be able to live a better life in the future. He sought for solutions in many places and they all told him to go back and beg the person he offended. He had no choice than to go back to the pastor in the hospital. He begged for forgiveness from the pastor and God. His sister became healed but he was later arrested by the policeman for the crimes he had committed.
*This is an assurance that God will always fight for His children.*

My eyes became dim and I passed out. I opened my eyes in the hospital. I was in so much pain. I wondered how God even created men with so wicked a heart. The first and only man I ever loved, Dickson, had a bet on me. I never believed in true love again. I felt all men were the same starting from my father, uncle and Dickson.
I didn't want to live alone or get pregnant for just any man so, I decided to get married to have just one child who will take care of me in my old age. I met Elias during my nysc. I played well along with him until we got married. Immediately I got my first daughter, my attitude towards Elias changed. I became very hostile to him. All I had for him was pure hatred. I never trusted him on anything. I treated him like a dog. Even my daughter noticed it and most times she would cry. I was suffering silently in my heart.
Despite all my bad behaviours towards my husband, he never hated me for once. He always talked with love and understanding. I didn't believe he truly loved me because my past was seriously craving for vengeance and I was ready to make my husband suffer for all I experienced. Most times, I would shout at him and order him like he was my mate. He never exposed my flaws before his friends even though they saw it in my actions. He visited a marriage counselor who told him that there must be a story behind all my actions. She told my husband to give her my contact number and she called me privately.
I met her and I narrated all my experiences from childhood till I got married to my husband. She saw it as a great wickedness on my part to make my husband suffer for what he knew nothing about. She counselled me to forgive everyone that offended me and go back home to beg my husband and to seek his attention before I lose him. The marriage counselor said she saw great potentials in my husband.
When I got back home I met Elias with our daughter telling her to stop coming home late at night. My daughter had also started misbehaving. I entered the house and queried him for reporting me to the counselor. He said he didn't report me and that he only wanted a better wife in me. I rose up from my seat and gave him a hot slap. My daughter screamed aloud. I was scared too. I thought Elias will beat me up or even slap me back. Instead, he took his car keys and left the house. For the first time, I felt Elias's love deep in my heart. I wondered why he couldn't slap me back. My daughter hissed and was about walking to her room when I help her hands and told her that I was deeply sorry. She said that was the first time she would hear sorry from my mouth.
I tried Elias's contact numbers but they were not going through. I knew he left the house because he did not want any other provocation to beat me. I was ashamed of myself. How could I have given a loving man so much pain for fifteen years. He endured all through and I had nothing to say against him. He didn't come home to sleep that night. I went to his office the following morning but his secretary told me she had not seen my husband. I went to the counselor's office and she reminded me of her earlier warnings. I regretted all my actions. I reported to the police too.
That evening, I got a phone call from a road safety officer that my husband was involved in an accident. I told my daughter to be praying while I left for the hospital. I saw my husband lying down unconsciously. I knew I was the one who killed him if he eventually dies. I wished he would wake up to tell him how sorry I was. My heart was bleeding. Elias never came conscious again. He died and I just wanted to kill myself if not for the doctors that held me back. How would I live with this guilt in my heart forever?
I reconciled with my father. He was already paralyzed and his second wife had disappeared with the son. He begged me to forgive me and I did.
I have learnt my lesson the hard way. No matter who has offended you forgive and let go. All those who brought bitterness into my life are still alive while the only person who loved me wholeheartedly is now dead.
Thank you so much for following my story. I never planned it to be as long as this but ideas kept coming as I was writing. Thanks for your support 💗.

21ST APRIL, 2022.
Happy weekend! How are you enjoying your day? This article is the second part of what I wrote yesterday. If you have not yet read the first part, here is the link https://read.cash/@Tife./i-will-never-forgive-men-9a429fd2
My mum discovered I was lost in thought and she drew me closer to herself. She hugged me and told me she would take me out. We packed the goods into the shop and locked the door. For the first time, I felt my mum's love and was going to tell her everything. She took me to a restaurant and we were at the reception when we both saw my dad eating with another woman. My mum ordered for two bottles of soft drinks and doughnuts. We received our order and left immediately in tears. My dad spoilt the most precious moment I would have had with my mum.
I arrived from school the next day and the house was empty. I inquired from one of our neighbours and she told me that my dad beat my mum to a state of coma. She said it sarcastically. I broke down in tears and requested to know the address of the hospital. I met my mum lying down helplessly on the hospital bed. She was later discharged from the hospital and when we got home, she told me something I would forever remember. She said she was sorry for not having the opportunity to take good care of me. She said my dad was very loving and caring during the period of their courtship. She said his bad behavior began when I was five years old. She advised me to watch very well before I give my heart and love to any man. She said MEN CANNOT BE TRUSTED. She was rushed to the hospital that night again and died before daybreak.
My whole world crumbled. I didn't know how I would survive it but I kept living. Two days after mum's death, I received the greatest shock of my life. Dad brought in another woman. It was as if he had been waiting for my mum to die so that he could marry another wife. Life changed for me and I became a stranger in my own home. My dad never cared about me for a second. There was a day he couldn't find the money he kept in the drawer. He called me and beat me blue black. His wife came out later and said she was the one that took the money. My dad was not humble enough to apologise. I challenged him and he told me that he has disowned me from that day. He said I was useless and that even if I make it in the future, I should never remember that I have a father somewhere. Those words pierced my heart.
I gained admission into the university and I was very happy. I focused on my studies and working at the same time. I never gave any man a thought. I only related with my coursemates as mere friends until I met Dickson. It started as mere conversation but I told him I would not be going into any serious relationship with him. On the long run, he won my heart. I felt loved. I saw in him a father, mother and a lover. He showered me with so much love and I decided to give him a chance. I promised myself not to give my body to any man till my wedding night. But that fateful afternoon, I broke my promise. I gave my body to Dickson and that was the most terrible mistake I made in my life.
As I left his house, I remembered I forgot to pick my phone. I went back and as I was about opening the door, I overheard him talking happily to someone on the phone. I thought the person sent him some money but I was wrong. He had a bet with his friends that he can have his way with any lady on campus. He even said he did a video recording of what happened between us.
To be continued...
Thanks so much for your time. I hope you like it. God bless.

I will never forgive men
Men! Men!! Men!!! Can I ever forgive you for all you have done to me?
My name is Tracy. Right from my childhood, my dad never allowed peace in our home. He was a trouble maker. He beats my mum over little arguments. He was always sneaking out of the house for parties and unreasonable discussions with friends. I was always happy whenever he wasn't at home.
One fateful day, I was reading my books at our backyard when I saw my dad trying to sneak out of the house. I shook my head. My mum discovered and started to shout that he should at least stay at home with us. My dad gave my mum the beating of her life. I couldn't sit down and watch my dad's action. I rushed to save mum from him but I was beaten in the process. Eventually, my mum and I escaped.
My uncle visited the following day. My dad had gone out with his friends as usual and my mum was trading at the market. I was thinking and crying when he arrived. His visit was not a surprise as he was used to coming to our house anytime since he wasn't married yet. I usually welcome him with smiles so, he was surprised to see me crying. He asked me why and I told him I didn't understand why my parents were behaving like cat and dog. He consoled me and told me to go and change my clothes that he would take me out.
I gladly went to my room and searched for one of my best dresses. I settled for a pink gown. As I was undressing, my uncle came into my room as I didn't lock the door. I asked why he came in and he told me that he loved me. I struggled to free myself from his grip but he was very much stronger than me. He successfully raped me. No one was near to hear my scream. All I saw was blood. He left my room as soon as he finished having what he wanted with me. I soaked my pillow with tears. I never thought he could do this to me. I couldn't believe I was raped at the tender age of eleven.
I wanted to tell my mum when she came back home from the market but she was busy cooking so that my dad won't complain that his food was late. Uncle came to me again to beg me to forgive him. I began to cry again. He tried holding my hands but I told him to leave me alone. He left when I was about to shout.
I went to my mum's shop after school the following day to have a good time to explain what happened to her. She wasn't expecting to see me as I ought to go home after school. I told her I wanted to tell her something the previous day but she was busy. She apologized and began to express her feelings of how dad was treating her. She was in so much pain and I was lost in thoughts of how I was about to add salt to her injury by telling her about the rape...

Eight things that can waste time & life that must be avoided.
21ST APRIL, 2022.
Life can be perpetual barrage of challenges coming at us. Fear, envy, the past, greed, anger indecision, etc. jostle for our time and demand our attention.
Specifically, some of these things can turn out to be time-wasters if undue attention is given to them. Not only that, they can weaken our faith and make us feel everything is impossible. We will examine eight ways you can waste your life as an individual. Note, however that the list isn't limited to these eight.
Worry
It is simply the triumph of fear over Faith. Worry is a route that leads from somewhere to nowhere. Actually, it only compounds an already exist problem. Worry is not good for your spiritual, psychological and physical well-being.
Fear
Fear, like it's brother worry, is like interest paid in advance on something you might never own. It is a poor chisel for carving out tomorrow. It makes you forget the ability of God and His great promises for every situation in your life. It makes you run from something that is not after you. Fear of the future is a waste of the present.
Guilt
Guilt is an acceptance of wrong done, often accompanied by a feeling of shame and condemnation. It can be sometimes overwhelming such that you keep seeing yourself as an evil person even after you have asked for and received pardon from God or somebody you have wronged.
Complaining
The more you complain, the less you will obtain anything. The person who is always finding fault and complaining about almost everything seldom finds anything else. A life full of complaint is sad, distracted and may not see opportunity when it knocks on the door.
Anger
Anger falls one letter short about danger. When you get angry, you are likely calling for danger because at that point, you might likely lose your temper and do something you'll regret. Anger also affects the human system negatively. It is no good emotions for believers.
Comparison
Nothing gets you behind faster than trying to keep us with Joneses. Apart from the fact that comparing yourself with others sets you back, God's word speaks against it.
Blame
People's unwillingness to take responsibilities for their own actions or inactions make them resought to blame other people. If you are in habit of blaming all your problems on people or even circumstances, then you are really are not ready to make progress in life. To expect your life to be perfectly tailored to your specification is to live a life of continual frustration. When you make mistakes or experience failure in any area of your life, accept the blame first, take responsibility and finding a solution will become easier.
Regret
The feeling of regret over something wrongly said or done, or regret about loss of something on someone dear, keeps dwelling on the past. Correct your past mistakes and move on with your life. There is no use living in regrets. This only stalls your forward movement.
Don't waste your life with any of these life and time-wasters. Never view your future from a position of worry. Instead, pressed forward in faith knowing that the plan of God is to give you a better future and hope everlasting. Do not be afraid of tomorrow because God is already there to make every crooked paths straight. As you depend on Him and His promises for you nothing will cut short your life in Jesus name.
Thanks for reading 😊. Enjoy your day 😋
Downsides of technology ||
20TH APRIL, 2022.
Hi everyone! How are you doing today? We are still enjoying the Easter holidays here although with a lot of work at home.
In my last article https://read.cash/@Tife./downsides-of-technology-bcb11834 , I wrote about the downsides of technology. The first point in the downsides of technology is distraction. Technology causes a lot of distractions for students especially. We have lots of things to explore on the internet and without self-discipline, technology can ruin one's life.
Today, let's continue with the rest
Heavy challenges on the posture of the body.
Anytime we are using our phones or other technologies, the way we position our body is always affected. Sometimes, we even care less about our posture which often leads to body pains. We just get glued to our phones in any posture, most especially while lying down. We often forget to eat sometimes when we working on the internet and even when we eat, we overeat.
Development of ungodly attitudes.
A lot of ungodly attitudes that we see today were first learnt from the internet. We experience a lot of killings and wicked attitudes from people at this digital age more than before it's advent. Children are killing their parents for rituals. Youngsters in their teen years are making all possible ungodly efforts to get rich quickly without hardwork. All these were learnt through the use of technology.
A time waster
Technology is a time waster. First, the network is not always available. Personally, each time I have an assignment to research on the internet, unnecessary advertisement usually wastes time. By the time I finish checking the advertisements, time is gone and I have not yet done the assignment.
When I login to my Facebook account, I begin to scroll and scroll. I navigate from one page to the other and by the time I'm done, the time is far spent.
You might have had similar experience too.
Wrong use of tongue
This is very paramount among school kids especially. Children tend to copy anything they see on the internet whether good or bad. Any bad language that is used to correct someone in a movie is what they will like to use to insult their classmates who offend them in school. They speak foul languages as if it's a norm. All these happen through the use of technology.
Avoidance of religious gatherings
Due to this same technology, people now prefer to stay at home to connect to the internet and listen to messages and other activities going on in church. No matter how, we cannot participate effectively in religious activities from the comfort of our homes. Besides, there will be distraction.
I remember during the lockdown. We could not go to church. So we connected from home. There were lots of distractions like cooking, talking even during the service. After the lockdown was over, some people still preferred to sit at home and connect through the internet while others are receiving the full blessings in church.
These and many other points have been the downsides of technology. It all requires self-discipline in order to get the full benefits in the use of technology.
Thanks for reading 💖
These are my wonderful sponsors. They are great writers. Do well to check out their articles.

Downsides of technology
We are all aware that we are in the twenty first century and also the digital age. Almost everything that is done in this world is done through the computer. We have all been exposed to technology. The world is improving and getting better and easier each day. In my school, those who are doing business courses usually go about with their typewriters. But when the curriculum was changed, typewriting was removed from their courses and replaced with computer. I wasn't also interested in learning some little things about computer in the first place but, when I had a chance to learn for free, I jumped at the opportunity and I'm still learning.
There are many advantages that the use of technology has brought to us and we are familiar with them. Computer reflects in businesses. It is used in detecting crimes. It helps in production, planning and inventory. In this article, I would be writing about the disadvantages of technology.
The disadvantages or downsides of technology are many. I will be explaining just a few of them.
A source of distraction.
I consider this point as the first in all. Technology has been a source of distraction for people. Distraction in the office, distraction in the school, distraction at home and in many other places, technology has distracted us. I will like to share a story here. A man woke up in the morning to have his personal devotion with God. As he was praying, he received a message alert and he got distracted. That was the end of the devotion that morning.
As he was taking his breakfast of hot tea, bread and butter, he was pressing his phone. As he was about to drink a little out of the hot tea, it poured on his body and he immediately dropped the phone. He held his mouth in pain while he reached for the phone again. He finished his breakfast and left the house. He was standing by the roadside still pressing the people. He flagged down a tricycle and sat down. Throughout the journey, his head was buried in the phone.
When he eventually looked up, the tricycle driver had drove past his place of work. He began to shout and shift blames on the driver for not informing him that he had gotten to his destination. He alighted, crossed to the other side and boarded another taxi cab to get to work.
Even in the office, he was busy with the phone instead of focusing on the assignments given to him by his boss. He could not achieve anything at the close of work for the day. It was already an addiction. When he got back home from work, the phone was still the next work for him to do. Eventually, he realized all his accounts had been hacked. His Facebook account, Twitter and Instagram accounts were gone. That is the result of misuse of technology.
I feel I have to stop here for today. We have just one point today. Let's continue tomorrow by God's grace.
Lest I forget, SEASONS GREETINGS to you. I attended the global Easter Retreat that started on Thursday and ended today. So, I wasn't very much active here.
**HAPPY EASTER**

David and Jonathan
16TH APRIL, 2022.
From my last article, David's bravery in that battle also attracted Jonathan, Saul's son. Jonathan was so nice to him to the extent that he loves him as his own soul. This means that they were very impressed and described more praises to David. This brought envy in Saul.
Envy is the resentful or unhappy feeling of wanting somebody else's success, good for, qualities or possessions.
David in the house of Saul behaved himself while playing harp to drive out the evil spirit from Saul. Saul was afraid of him and attempted to kill him. David escaped his scheme to kill him several times because God was with him. Once our lives and in accordance with His will, no one can hurt or harm us.
Jonathan's love for David emanated from the time he defeated Goliath. He was impressed by his brave, brilliant and bold display before Goliath and his eventual conquest over him. Since they were both warriors, he became attracted to him. Jonathan being a soldier and found a fit partner and qualities in David and felt they could work together.
He saw him as a trustworthy and tactical companion. There was no feeling of immoral dealings between them. Jonathan gave him a token by stripping himself of his Royal apparel. He gave it to David. This was because he loved him as his own soul. We should be careful in choosing our friends. This is to avoid being misled into evil association. We should ensure that our intimate friends are saved. We should also have good rapport with our classmates and Youths in the neighborhood.
There were other people that loves David. He was a steadfast poor-boy brilliant, warrior and intelligent musician who behaves wisely and was apt and humble. These qualities made him to be loved by all who came in contact with him in Israel.
As the armies of Israel returned from the defeat of the philistines, the women came singing before them all. They rejoiced at the conquest of the terror that suppressed the whole Nation. No one had thought such a relief could come so easily. When it came, they were happy. The, they danced and sang to the glory of the lord. All praises should go to God who raises help for us to deliver us from pressing need. However, it is good to show gratitude to the person used of God to meet the desired need. Ingratitude is a sin.
Because the women sang the praises of David, Saul became jealous and forgot the good David did for Israel and himself. He decided to reward him by taking his life. Imagine the effect of envy and a result from such action. He was blinded to David's sacrificial service. He failed to understand that killing the only one found in Israel who can play the Harp to relieve him will make him more vulnerable to the evil spirits that tormented him. But all along, he longed for what was to get rid of him to retain his position as King.
God will never leave his faithful children to be hands of the enemies. Three times, he delivers David from being killed with a javelin. He will deliver us too.
SEASONS GREETINGS
David and Goliath

62ND ARTICLE IN ALL.
11TH ARTICLE IN THE MONTH.
There has been battles between the children of Israel and their enemies since Saul became king. The Philistines had already invaded into the territory of Israel. On this occasion, both of them were on a mountain against each other and a valley was between them.
Goliath, a champion of the philistines challenged the Israelites to choose a man among them who will fight against him and the result of the contest will determine the results of the warfare. but Israel could not provide any one bold enough to challenge him until David came. Got used him to rescue Israel from the intimidation of the philistines.
The case of Goliath is a typical representation of the challenges that stare us in the face. It might continue for some time as if God will not intervene or send the deliverer. But in due time God will send help to His saints. Our attitude in difficult and challenging times should be of prayerfulness and patience with faith.
Some challenges we face in life may look unusual. The only thing they unleashed on us is fear. When we concentrate on the magnitude of our challenges, we could be terrified and intimidated. This may make us to forget God's promises. The word of God has given us precious promises in order to have the confidence to confront the challenges. We should not lose focus on God's promises despite the daunting challenges. Besides, we should pray to God for help with two will overcome if we do not lose heart to the challenges as Israel did at this point.
One could also have expected a young person like David to play around in the neighborhood with friends other than run a tedious errand of such. He was obedient to his father and did exactly as he was commanded. Though it was a tough assignment, David did not just abandon the sheep, he left them with a keeper. David would have gone for sightseeing or even come back to take a break from the Royal service but he returned from Saul to feed his father sheep at Bethlehem.
Young people should cultivate the habit of assisting their parents and guardians in whatever duty assigned to them. They should watch over the family resources in their care. They should not carelessly leave their school bags, books or writing materials somewhere in order to participate or watch a roadside game.
It was David's duty to take care of his father's properties. It was also observed that when he got to the battlefield to see his brother, he left his garage in the hand of the keeper of the garage. He concentrated on the assignment given to him and was able to locate his brethren. He was a very diligent boy.
God's help is available to his children. Courage, faith and obedience to God at factors that can help us obtain victory in life's battles. David put his confidence in God and hoped to take away their reproach of this uncircumcised infidel from both the army of Israel and God. Goliath could not believe his eyes as he moved towards David.
David threw a stone at him in a sling and he fell. He ran towards the fallen giant and cut off his head with his own sword. When the philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled. Then the army of Israel pursued and took spoil. Israel defeated and took over the camp of the philistines to the exploits of David who was mightily helped by God.
When you are diligent in little assignments, God will make room for a greater one. If you have been diligently doing your class work and homework and you are performing well in the class, it could expose you to greater competitions that will promise you awards. Although, this could cause envy and jealousy from your colleagues who may try to discourage you, you must not *throw in the trowel.* Like David, you must remain courageous and focused. Do not be distracted by gossips or uncharitable comments.
Thanks for reading. God bless you.

We are born with a God-conscious mind. There is an instinct I'm man that tells us that there is God. At creation, God put within man the instinctive knowledge that He exists.
Who is God?
GOD IS OMNIPOTENT
His power knows no limitation. He is all powerful and nothing is too hard for Him. Let us never limit the Almighty God. We can place all our problems and needs against His omnipotence and miracles will flow into our lives.
GOD IS OMNIPRESENT
God is everywhere at all times. This gives us both comfort and caution. There is no place a man may hide from the searching eyes of God.
GOD IS OMNISCIENT
He is perfect in knowledge. God has perfect knowledge of all that transpires in human existence. There is no problem that he cannot solve.
GOD IS A SPIRIT
God thinks, feels, speaks and acts, yet He is not subject to limitations as human beings. He cannot be seen by natural eyes. We can only worship and communicate with him in the spirit. This brings the necessity of being born-again ( born of the Spirit) so that we can fellowship with our Father who is a Spirit.
GOD IS INFINITE
God is not limited by earthly boundaries. He is everywhere. He holds a position of absolute authority.
GOD IS HOLY
If God is holy, He expects holiness from those who worship Him. A holy God requires holy people to worship and serve Him.
GOD IS LOVE
This nature of God is what draws the plan of salvation for man. Through His love, He gives us everything freely including the only begotten Son.
Names of God
JEHOVAH NISSI
*The Lord our Banner ( Exodus 17:15)*. We can find comfort in knowing that in all our troubles and trials, the Lord will raise up a banner of victory against our enemies.
JEHOVAH SHALOM
*The Lord our peace ( Judges 6:23,24)* . Peace flows in the hearts and lives of all who belong to the Lord. Jesus is the Prince of Peace.
JEHOVAH RA-AH
*The Lord our shepherd ( Psalm 23:1-6).* When the Lord is our shepherd, we have provision, peace, protection, preservation, prosperity, power and the presence of God.
JEHOVAH SHAMMA
*The Lord is there ( Ezekiel 48:35)*. This name indicates God's constant presence with His People. *God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.*
The Knowledge of God's nature and attributes is very important to us as God's creation. His blessings affect our spiritual, academic and physical lives.

*Be appreciative. You don't have to complain always.*
I was going out this morning when I saw a man leading a blind woman by the ant I began to think of my own situation and I was grateful to God for where I am.
Moving further, I saw a group of people who had no place of abode and we're usually fed by good Samaritans. Sometimes ago, there was this video online. The video is about a couple who were going to a particular destination in their private car. As the husband was driving, the wife complained that she was tired of their car. The husband supported her too.
The scene moved to a young man who had been trekking a very long distance. He was thinking that if only he had a car it would have been easier. He continued trekking to go home and sleep. At least he had a bed and a roof over his head.
The third scene showed a young man who was about to sleep on the streets. He wished he had a roof over his head.
The fourth scene showed a patient in the hospital on a wheelchair. This patient wished she could stand up and walk again. Even if she doesn't have a roof over her head, she didn't care.
The next scene was still in the hospital. A blind man named Mr Audu, asking the doctor when he will see again. The doctor replied and said, "Thank God for your life sir. The patient beside your bed just passed away". The old man then said "God I thank you for life".
The patient on the wheelchair saw Mr Audu and began to thank God that you he had a good sight.
The boy on the street also realised that some people could not work but he could walk. He was grateful to God and believed that God will give him a roof over his head.
The young man reasoned that some people don't even have a home to go to but he has one. He was also greatful.
The couple in the car also saw the young man who was trekking and sweating. The husband then said they needed to be grateful to God at least they have a car.
Take a good look at yourself. Although some people are better in status than you, aren't you better than some people? If I should begin to count the things that God has done for me in this year alone, I won't finish. We need to think more on what God has done for us. It is better to praise than to complain because when praises ascend, miracles descend. No matter your situation, don't always complain. Be grateful for the little you have because you are better off than some people.

Good day house! How are you all doing today? I believe you had a great day. Take good care of yourself because health is wealth.
It was Saturday afternoon. My dad was busy with some private assignments when his phone rang. I was a bit far away from him but I overheard a little of his conversation. It was my grandmother that called. She told my dad that she would be coming to visit us on Sunday. My siblings and I shouted for joy when we heard the good news.
I had not seen my grandmom for over a year now. The reason I didn't see her was due to the fact that I was always in school any time my parents traveled to see her and there was no way I could follow them. We were so glad about this. I began to think of the preparations that I needed to make in order to make her visit comfortable
She arrived yesterday morning around 11 a.m. She thought we would be at home by then but we came back from church around 12 p.m. Grand mum was so happy to see me. She said she came intentionally during the weekend to see me. I was happy to see her too. Such a long time! I greeted her and she prayed for me. We carried her bags into the house and I immediately dashed into the kitchen to prepare lunch. I finished cooking around 1 p.m. I knew my grandmother may not like the food we like to eat but she ate the food in love. She never complained.
As usual for grandmothers, anytime they are visiting their children, they always wish they could buy the whole world for them . she bought some African apples for us. She also spoke about how her journey went. We all took a nap around 2:30 p.m. and woke up at 5 p.m. I prepared dinner again and we all eat before my dad and grandmom began their discussion. They discussed about the family. Some close relatives were not after the growth of the family and so many other things.
While they were discussing, I was busy showing a friend through Whatsapp how to be successful on read.cash. We slept around 1:30 a.m. Grandmom left this morning for another place because we were all leaving the house and she didn't want to be the only one at home. Before she left, she gave me a word of advice. She told me to mind the kind of friends I keep on campus and be a good girl. She then prayed for me and I thanked her.

Happy Sunday. Happy Easter in advance.
It was May 27, 2013. It was children's day. A day when children are celebrated and given special treatment by everyone. Before that day, my dad called my aunt that he would be coming to pick me in school to travel to my grandma's house in the city.
I was living in the boardinghouse. My aunt was the hostel mistress. Immediately I heard that my dad would be coming and I would be traveling, I told my mates in the hostel and I started packing my clothes. There was a program that was scheduled for the children day. So, my dad was to pick me up at the program.
On the D-Day, I was super happy that I was going to see my parents. We left the hostel after we ate breakfast. We got to the program and I am sure my mind was not there at all. I must have been thinking about how the journey would go.
After some hours, I began to feel uneasy. My parents ought to have been around and the program was almost over. At the end of the program, our cook told me that my aunt called her that I should follow the other hostelites back to the hostel.
I was surprised 😮. I wondered why my aunt would send that message and why I hadn't seen my parents. My friends were already asking questions. When we got back to the hostel, I quickly went to my aunt's room. I greeted her and she smiled that my dad had travelled. I felt like crying 😪. Why would my mum allow my dad to travel without taking me along 😥?
When my aunt saw that I was about to cry, she drew me closer to herself and told me that my parents cancelled the journey. WHY? She said some thieves broke into my dad's car and took away his bag containing the car particulars.
My dad and mum had already prepared and left our house. They stopped at the market to buy some things for Grandma. As my dad was about to lock the car, he hid his bag under the front seat while my mum kept hers on the back seat. As they left the car and went to the market, some thieves monitored my parents and used another key to unlock the car. The case was immediately reported to the police and the whole area was searched but the thieves had absconded. We never saw those particulars again including the bag. That was how the planned journey never was.
Here are my lovely sponsors. Thank you so much @Talon for the sponsorship. I apologise I didn't see it on time. Thanks for your trust. Do have a nice week.

Good day family! How are you doing today? I hope you enjoyed your weekend. I was reading some articles and then I discovered a prompt by @Usagi which has the following questions. You can try it out too.
* * * *** * * * * * * * * * * * * * ***
What kind of a day did you have?
I had a stressful day. Just like I wrote in my article yesterday, our courses have been changed. I had to start changing documents right from my 100level. It was stressful. Even till now, I am still battling with the corrections I have to make. Some of my lecturers are not even around to sign some of my course forms. I have a lot of photocopies to do and I'm fed up of the whole thing.
If you could change one thing about your behaviour today, what could it be?
Getting distracted easily is one thing I wish I could change about my behaviour. Once I am doing something now, and then a thought drops on my mind, I forget what I was doing earlier and focus on this new thought. Even when I am reading, if I go out to do any other thing, I would forget that I was reading before.
Did you accomplish what you wanted to do today?
70%. I read a lot of articles and made a lot of comments. I wanted to develop two or more articles today. I have my topics already but I didn't have enough time for myself to think and write. Besides, throughout this week, we only had electricity for two days; Monday morning while I was leaving home for school and on Thursday evening. My first battery is already low and the second one as I am typing now is 19%. There are other things I need to accomplish today like ironing my clothes and finishing my assignments but the absence of electricity is serving as an hindrance.
What made you smile today?
I smile today because the love of my life gave me a brand new day. I'm happy I woke up healthy.
What are the five things you are grateful for?
Surviving
Being alive is the first thing I am grateful for. Some of my close friends have died due to little sicknesses. So I am grateful to God for preserving my life.
Saving Grace
Another thing I am grateful for is God's saving grace. He brought me out of the miery clay. He set my feet on the rock to stay. He put a song of praise in my soul today.
Parents
I'm very grateful for my parents for taking good care of me right from my mother's womb. Thanks for seeing me through thick and thin. Thanks for your love and care. I'm really grateful.
Health
I'm grateful for my health. I have not been rushed to the hospital for any reason. Even when a friend of mine had a serious accident, God helped the nurses and he was discharged that same day.
Academics
I am grateful to God for how far he has taken me in my academic journey. It has not been easy but God has been faithful. I faced so many challenges right from getting my complete o'level result. But now, all tears are turned to joy.
That will be all. Thanks for reading.

This is a cold morning. We had a peaceful rain last night. We thank God we now have the cold weather that we want. The heat has been something else. I didn't even know that rain fell until this morning when I woke up and noticed the cold weather.
Yesterday was a bit busy for me in school. We were just told that most of our courses have changed due to the changed curriculum. We had already bought all the necessary handouts and done all other things. We have to start changing the courses we wrote in our course forms to the new ones. I was just walking from one office to another to do all these corrections.
I opened my account this morning and I found so many interesting articles to read. I couldn't stop reading one after the other and I discovered so many topics I could write on😁. It was while I was reading that I saw some prompts. One of those I saw was an article written by @Amazing-grace on her experiences in the kitchen. I decided to choose the same topic and write mine too.
* * * * *** *** * * * * * * * * * * *
My cooking experiences started fourteen years ago. It was an evening to remember. My mum was in the kitchen, cooking. My dad entered the kitchen and saw that my mum was already tired. My dad told my mum to introduce me to some little things about cooking and that I was not too young to learn how to cook.
My mum reasoned with him and called me from among my friends while we were playing outside. She gave me okra to grate for her. She told me to grate the okra inside the house but I begged her to allow me do it outside and watch my friends. She agreed and I took the okra to the front of the house close to sand. As I was grating it, I think I lost concentration and the grated okra poured on the sand.
Guess what I did🙄.
In my little ignorance, I packed the okra back into the plate🤩, finished the rest and took it to my mum in the kitchen 😝. I thought my secret was hidden. I never knew I was deceiving myself 😆. My mum finished cooking and served the food. I was happy nobody saw the okra when it poured on the sand. As my mum was stirring the okra, she must have sensed that the bottom was somehow.
At the first bite, my mum spoke. She asked me if the okra poured away and I couldn't hide my open secret again. I must have kept quiet for a while before I told her the truth. I spoilt the food that night for my mum. I know she would not have blamed my dad for allowing me to help her. I was young and my brain did not tell me that the okra was already mixed with sand before packing it. I must have thought sand was also a part of food. It wasn't funny at all.
I can't remember the next time my mum called me to do kitchen work for her again except to wash the dishes. It was an experience to remember.
There was another day that I was the only one in the house. I decided to cook beans. I poured all necessary things into the pot and placed it on the electric cooker. I sat down in the livingng room and slept off. I woke up the next morning and I discovered that my nose was somehow. I could not breathe very well. Then I remembered that I was cooking the previous night before I slept. I went into the kitchen and saw a black pot on the electric cooker. The pot had turned black including its contents. It was God's mercy that allowed the power holders to switch off the light. I took the pot outside and poured the burnt beans away. I didn't enjoy breathing for few days. It was not a funny experience.
This is the end of my story. I have other experiences to share with you but I'll like to stop here.
Thanks so much for reading. I hope you enjoy it. You can also take part in this and write yours too. Even if you are a male, your entry is welcomed. Make us laugh and enjoy our weekend 😊.

Thank you so much everyone that has made my journey here to be smooth. I appreciate my sponsors. I thank all readers, commenters and upvoters. God bless you all.
I had a very busy day today. My examination begins next month. So, I have more work to do.
As I was going to school this morning, I had a class by 8am. It seemed all the transporters were all on holiday. It was quite unusual. The street was unusually quiet. I guess it might be because of the cold weather. Fifteen minutes to 8am, I was still by the roadside. I decided to walk to the next junction. I was becoming impatient because I didn't want to get to school late.
As I was going, I was looking back as if to see any minibus that would be going towards my direction. I didn't want to flag down any bike due to the incident that happened a month ago. Five minutes to 8, I still didn't see any minibus. I then noticed a bike was horning behind me. I guessed he wanted me to stop but I just shook my head to indicate that I was not interested in mounting the bike.
The bike still did not stop following me. He then spoke that I should wait. All these while, I did not look back to see the face of the bike man. I then looked back but could not recognize him. He then mentioned the name of the school I once worked while I was awaiting my admission into higher institution. That was when I remembered where we had met vividly. I apologized for ignoring him at first. I explained to him that I was not planning to flag down any bike and that was the reason for my earlier action.
He came to do his teaching practice in the school where I worked. He was appointed to teach the senior classes due to his academic performance. Our paths didn't cross but once so, I never knew he could recognize me.
He asked where I was going and I mentioned the name of my school.
He drove me to school. On the way, he spoke about some things that touched my heart. He spoke about some permanent staff in that school that didn't like his way of life. He said those teachers were not laying down good examples for the students to follow. He said some teachers would be chewing gum and then scold any student that was chewing gum too. He said whenever he tells the teacher to live by example, for the next three days, there would be no greetings from that teachers. He said the most effective and efficient way by which a student can learn morals, is by the example laid down by the class teacher.
I then realized that he made a very good point there. Any way of life that we want to enforce on others, the first practical example should be seen in our lives.
Thanks so much for your time 🤗
God respects women. Ask me how?

3RD ARTICLE IN THE MONTH.
Happy first Monday. It's a new week to begin a new thing. This is the first full week in April. I wish you a joyous week.
When I say God respects women, you asked me how.
When God created the heaven and the Earth, God said to Adam "of all these, eat, enjoy, relax but this one don't touch it." But when the devil came, he tried to convince Eve. When God gave out the instruction, it became a problem to her. Anytime she passes by the tree, she will look at how tasty the fruit will be. The devil used that to deceive her.
She wanted to find out what the fruit looked like and she ate it. When Eve plucked the fruit and ate, was it not Eve that plucked it? If God wanted to stop Adam from eating, immediately Eve ate it, God would have queried her for eating the forbidden fruit and would have punished Eve. But God waited for Adam to finish eating without saying anything.
God didn't speak to Eve. Then she gave it to Adam too to eat. Immediately Adam put it in his mouth, God called Adam and demanded for the reason why he ate the fruit. It was Eve who ate the fruit first but God questioned Adam.
There is a place of women in the heart of God. God knows that women are weaker vessels. So, as a man, be careful the way you treat women. God understands.
When Steven was martyred, he was being stoned and was looking up to heaven for a miracle to happen and save him from the murderers. But, God told him to come home. Steven didn't commit any sin. The woman that was caught in the sin of adultery and brought to Jesus by some people said if any one of them has never committed any sin should cast the first stone on her. So, that is the place of women in the heart of God.
Men, be very careful with women. When God created woman, it was effortless but God sat down to mould the man.
God loves everybody but there is a place of women in the heart of God.
I drafted this article few days ago to publish yesterday. But I didn't have enough time to edit it during the day. The network was very bad last night and I slept off while editing it around 12am.
Thanks so much for reading. Have a great day.

Challenge: never have I

Great writers of the read.cash family. How are you doing? I believe you are enjoying your weekend. I decided to write this article after reading an articles from @Adrielle1214 a long time ago . And recently, @Theblackdoll , @Princessbusayo , @Kleah97 and @Balikis wrote the student version.
Let's get to business.
Never have I ever skipped a class
Right from my primary school days, I don't miss classes except I am sick. I attended a private school where my aunt worked so, it was practically impossible for me to skip classes. Even when I got to secondary school, I love school. After exams, while others are playing at home, awaiting the day we would vacate, I will be in class doing my own. Now that I'm in the higher institution I hate skipping classes because I love to get the exact words of my lecturers to support what is written in the handouts. Apart from that, attendance is never taken with levity in my school.
Never have I ever forged my parents' signature.
Many years ago, when my dad bought a devotional for me, I noticed the trace of his signature on the book and then I traced it to form mine. I don't need to forge my parents' signature. It is unnecessary. Moreover, whatever I do to my parents, my children will also do to me.
Never have I ever made fake excuses for being late.
Whenever I go late to school, I have genuine reasons for it and I don't need to make any fake excuse. At times, my genuine excuses are not acceptable before my teachers not to talk of a fake one. During my first year in higher institution, I went late to a class because I thought the lecturer would not be around because he is always inconsistent and not predictable. That day, as I entered the LR, I became the topic of discussion till the end of the lecture that day.
Never have I ever bullied anybody.
I remember my primary school days. I was very gentle but whenever my younger sister makes me angry, I can do anything to punish her and I once threw her basket of food away but that was then. I'm actually an introvert, gentle as a dove. I don't do people harm.
Never have I ever cheated in exam.
I once cheated while I was in primary three. I was so young then and I only did what I must have seen my mate do. But since I became aware and conscious of the consequences of examination malpractice here and after, I have never engaged in it. All through my six years in the secondary school and till now in the higher institutionI have never cheated not even to look into another person's book. I don't talk while examination is going on. Some of my mates and seniors hate me for this but I am not bothered. The most important thing to me is that on my part, Christ is glorified.
Thank you so much for reading my own version of this challenge. I hope you enjoyed reading it. Please, do well to click the 'like' button and comment as well.

One space after another, the longest journey is ended. _anonymous.
You may not be able to carry an elephant just at once but you can when the animal is cut into pieces. Your job becomes simpler when you do it bit by bit.
We live in a busy world. The challenges of our time seem to make things more complex for young adults as regards the use of time. A lot of things that ought to be done promptly are delayed due to the basic condition of the modern time. If care is not taken, a child that goes to school early in the morning to come back late in the night may have no time left to do assignments or attend to spiritual things. The duty that needs urgent attention will be postponed because of the shortage of time but then there is time for everything and every purpose under the heavens. Whatever is delayed or put off due to insufficient time factor may finally be done late or haphazardly.
In God's wisdom, it is ordained that man covers a distant journey by taking a step at a time. The most difficult tasks can be accomplished in fragments or sizes that make for simplicity. A high mountain can be climbed 1 step after another. A huge work or assignment can be done bit by bit. You can study a voluminous book by reading a page at a time. A pyramid of academic work can be done when you are approaching a portion at a time. Great jobs become small task when you take it in bits. Instead of gazing at the top of the high hill you've got to climb with fear, it is better to concentrate on the short distances you must climb by faith.
The best approach to do your work is to carry it out in parts without looking at how big it is. Do not be frightened with the mountain of work you have to do. The more you look at the height of the hill you have got to climb, the higher it appears to be. What you need to do is to concentrate on the next step before you. You will soon discover that you are getting nearer and nearer to the achievement of your goal.
It is therefore advisable to study your book subject by subject, page-by-page, topic by topic, content by content, point by point and line by line. When you are consistent in acquiring knowledge bits by bits in any subject you are offering, the performance level will thrill you at the end.
Every step forward makes for progress. The best time to begin to diligently pursue your success goals more than ever before is now. Do not allow the confusion occasioned by the basic condition of our time rob you of the good success God has promised you.
Students who have made outstanding success in their work did not have more time than you have. Learn to make efficient and effective use of your time towards achieving success. Shifting forward what you should do now is a problem that may affect success adversely and obstruct your future prospects.
The best time of the day is now. However busy you may seem to be, attempt to do your work promptly and diligently.
I believe you have picked a point from this. Thanks for reading

We thank our most high God for seeing us through the first quarter of the year 2022. All glory to his name. This month of March has really been a busy one for me. I got entangled within some uninvited friends and I couldn't get enough time for myself. I was more active here in the month of February. I wrote an article each day of the month. But this month of March, I need to cover my face 🙈 because I didn't reach up to sixty percent of my goals 👩💻. I was able to write just twenty two articles in this month. Out of thirty-one days.
My first gratitude goes to @Therandomrewarder. for the love you have for my write-ups. Despite my inconsistencies, you still tip my articles anytime I am available to write. Thank you so much.
My second gratitude goes to my subscribers. I appreciate you all for your trust in me to write something beneficial. I couldn't have done it without you.
Another gratitude goes to my readers. Thank you so much for sparing some minutes out of your time to always read whatever I have written.
I will never be ungrateful to my first and second sponsors. @Chelle18 and @Adrielle1214 . You have remained on my profile for the past one month. I am grateful for your support. Thanks for having my back.
My commenters, I'm beyond grateful. You take valuable time to read my articles and comment on them. Thanks for your kind gesture.
My tippers, more and more bch to your wallet. Though the market has been up and down this month, you still share and give out the little you have. Many thanks.

Cassava flakes
30TH MARCH, 2022.
This is the fastest food I know in Nigeria that people eat. It does not need any special ingredient. Just get your cup, spoon, cassava flakes and water. You can add other things to it to make it sweeter.
How do we make cassava flakes?
The procedure to making cassava flakes is simple.
Get a farmland.
Clear the land.
Make ridges.
Plant cassava sticks
Visit the farm occasionally to know if your cassava is safe and leave for a year. If the land you are using is very fertile, you can harvest your cassava within 11 to 12 months. After harvest,
Peel the cassava and wash. Put everything in in a bag and take it to the grindinghouse. They will grind it and then squeeze out the water with the use of a machine. After some days, you can go back to the grindinghouse to carry your bag or bags of cassava.
The next step is to get a big frying pan, a broken calabash and a flat basket. Shift your cassava flour using the flat basket. You can fry it at the grindinghouse house or at the comfort of your home. It is very easy to fry .
Just pour a little quantity into your frying pot and add the rest occasionally and continue mixing.
Continue to mix it well until the cassava flakes gets dried to your taste. Pack it from the pot and allow it to cool down.
You can take your cassava flakes ordinarily or with any other thing. You can also make it as a solid food.
If you want to make it a solid food, you'll put water in a pot and allow the water to boil on fire. After boiling, pour out your cassava flakes into the boiling water as required. Then, you will use the turning stick to turn it and then serve with any delicious soup🍛🍲 of your choice.
For me to take cassava flakes ordinarily, I want the following:
cup
spoon
cold water
sugar
powdered milk
cashew nut and so on.
I hope you like it.
Patience in marriage
29TH MARCH, 2022.
Good day friends. How are you today? I believe you are doing well.
I was opportuned to be with some married mothers and father last weekend. They were discussing about patience in marriage. I was eager to learn from what they were saying. A particular woman said that when she first got married, she usually gets angry and irritated at little things. She said she was very impatient whenever someone distracts her attention. She would shout at the person to leave. Her husband suffered for her impatient during the first six months of their marriage. She said she later discovered that the inpatient behavior will not help her marriage at all. She said during that time, anytime she has the opportunity to talk to God, her only prayer request was that God should take away the spirit of impatience and give her the spirit of patience.
From her words, I can see that patience is key in every marriage. We all have to learn this priceless virtue to have a successful and peaceful marriage.
Let's take a look at this practical example.
Since you have been using your phone, has it ever hanged? Does it get stuck on a page? What did you do while the page got stuck? Didn't you wait? Did you smash your phone on the ground? Of course, no. That should also be applied to marriage too. At the end, your patience will yeild a positive result when the page eventually loads.
In marriage, you have to be patient with your spouse, children, in loves(in-laws) and parents.
The first step to being patient in marriage is to identify why you are impatient. Impatience can be caused by stress. You might have had a busy day and then you need to rest but your children or spouse needs your attention. You become impatient whenever they asked too much. You have to relate with your family patiently.
Impatience can also be caused by lack of control of the use of technology. Whenever I am using my Android device, I usually don't desire any disturbance from anyone. But when you are married, you have to settle the needs of your family first before you will have sufficient time for the technology especially at night and you will also need to limit its use so as to enhance your patience. For your spouse and kids to get more of your attention, you have to limit the use of phone.
When you expect a lot of things from your spouse and he or she is not living up to your expectations, you end up being impatient. You get tensed up and shout at your spouse unintentionally.
I believe you have learnt something from this. If you know any other way to be patient in marriage, feel free to share with us in the comments section.
Thanks for your time. Have a nice day.

Let love lead
Love is the sum of all virtue, and love disposes us to good_ Jonathan Edward.
Happy Monday! Yesterday was mothers'day. Special greetings to all mothers in the house. How is your spouse and kids? I believe you are taking very good care of yourself and your family. Today is 28TH MARCH, 2022.
Some years ago, Dr. Osaka, a noted doctor psychologist, was seeking the cause of many of his patients' illness. One day he called in his clinical staff and started unfolding plans for development and an atmosphere of creating love.
All patients were to be given large quantities of love and all nurses and doctors were to go about their work with a loving attitude. This continued for several months. At the end of 6 months, the numbers of patients in the institution was drastically reduced. It was a great initiatives that did yeild positive result.
Love is indispensable in the life and service of everyone. No child of God can make progress in life and ministry without this. Love does not exist in isolation. It is not passive. It is actually functional, practical, creative, proactive, thoughtful and transformational. While interacting with others, we should constantly examine our motives and actions to ensure that they are borne out of love. Love leads where all else fails. God, the source of embodiment of true love, has given us the two description of his love.
Although you may have been maligned, misinterpreted or accused, you must forgive and love one another. Servants and leaders must overlook others mistakes and oversight and love one another. God is Love and all attributes of love are his. I'm positive he is not fault finding.
Love is not inconsiderate. He does not speak ill of anyone. Whoever has any of these character processes another spirits which is contrary to the Spirit of God. Such a person is not sanctified. God's Love is divine. It goes far beyond fittings and politeness. His love is to all the people. Love requires that we show concern to those who are sick, lonely and jobless. The actions or inactions of other people should not affect or determine what we do. We should allow love to lead despite all. As humans, someone will infridge on your right or take what is really fully yours. It is Grace and self-control that helps to stay in love with such an individual. No matter how unlovable people may be, we must not retaliate any wrong done to us.
Thanks for reading.
My mummy
27TH MARCH, 2022.
Hey! It's mother's day. I didn't know this until I saw an article on mother's day here. I checked my calendar and realized it's today. I'm happy to write this today. Special greetings to all mothers in the house. Greetings to those who are preparing to join the force.
My mum was born many years ago in Southwest Nigeria. She grew up, went to school and finally got married to my dad. I laugh anytime I see my mum's wedding album. The way pictures were taken in those days is so much funny. It's not like nowadays. Technology has turned everything around.
Mummy, you gave birth to me as your first child. You gave me a special name that I love till today. The circumstances surrounding my birth made you give me the name 'Boluwatife'. I'm proud of my name. I appreciate you for this. After you gave birth to me, you fed and nursed me till I am able to take good care of myself. Even till now, you still take care of me like a little baby.
Thanks for your love, care and attention since I was in your womb. You fed me with the right food at pregnancy. You denied yourself of junks and sugary things. God helped you to carry me till the ninth month. I can't imagine how heavy your body would have been all those months.
I remember an incidence you told me would have claimed my life. When I was just a year old, you backed me as you were cooking in the kitchen. You were so engrossed that you didn't notice when I picked up the washing soap and started eating it. My dad entered the kitchen and saw the soap in my hand. He shouted and you untied the wrapper you used to back me and poured palmoil in my mouth before you and Dad rushed me to the hospital. God preserved my life.
When I was two years, I was playing with some small seeds and I pushed one into my nostrils. As I tried to remove it, I was pushing it inside the more. When I couldn't remove it, I started crying and you carried me. You didn't know what was wrong until I touched my nose and you looked inside. You told me to blow my nose but I was still little to understand what you were saying. You got scared and called the attention of my dad. Dad tried too. He blocked the other nostril and told me to breathe out but the seed didn't come out. You took me to the hospital where a liquid substance was poured in my nostrils that will soften the seed. The seed came out after a week.
After three years, you gave birth to my younger sister. I ate a lot during her naming ceremony. My aunt once told me that I drank a whole bottle of maltina.
Thank you mum for training us in the way of the Lord. Thanks for all your advice and encouragement. Most times when I had a bad day at secondary school, you would be ready to hear me out and give your judgement. You have been so patient and understanding. Sometimes I would disobey your instructions and want to have my own way. You would get a good cane and flog me. You would give me examples of people who disobeyed in the word of God and were punished.
Thank you mum for your corrections. I remember when I was passing through difficult situations as a young teenager. You stood by me, prayed for me and made sure I scaled through successfully.
Thank you for taking care of my dad all these years. I know he has no regrets for marrying you. You've been the best cook for him. I wonder how you wake up very early to cook and take care of the home before going to work without getting late. You never play with prayers and service to God. You inculcated this attitude in us and even when you are not back from work yet, we would have gone to church and you would meet us there. You supported my dad through thick and thin.
I'm proud of you mum. Thank you so much for all you have done for me. Words would fail me to express my deepest gratitude to you ma.
Happy Sunday and mothers'day.

What my insatiable nature led me into.
23RD MARCH, 2022.
48TH ARTICLE IN ALL.
*From childhood, I want to be a little older to go to school. At primary school, I aspire to go to secondary school. After secondary school, I pray to get admission into the university quickly. After my first degree, I want to do my masters. After completion of my masters, I need to buy a car. After buying a car, I need a house of my own. After getting a house, I want to get married and settle down. After marriage, I want to have children. After giving birth in children, I love to train them through school successfully. After training my children, I want to get more certificates.*
All these are as a result of the insatiable nature of human being. Human beings are never satisfied. WHY? After one need is supplied, another emerges. Right from childhood, we aspire for something one after the other. The quest is unending.
This is the story of Charlie.
Charlie was very sound and brilliant right from childhood. His parents were financially independent enough to give him all the education he needed. He acquired so many certificates he wanted. He gained a lot of knowledge in academics. There was this feeling of emptiness within him despite all he had acquired.
He decided to go in search of what would give him satisfaction. He searched for power which led him into magic. He met a friend named Sholly. Sholly advised him against the decision to go into magic but he was adamant. He made a covenant with his life. He would have unconquerable power for twenty four years and would die.
He sealed the contract with his blood. He was given a book containing spells. He began to work magic everywhere. He made himself visible and invisible. He travelled to many countries. Yet, the vacuum in his heart could not be filled. He once thought of renouncing the covenant he made but, each time he thinks of quitting, he sees a warning sign.
All through the twenty four years, he was widely known. He did many works of magic. One of the spectacular magic he performed was in a wedding ceremony. He told the bride to lie on a table during the reception party. He then sliced the bride in front of her husband. After slicing the bride, he covered her with a White cloth and after a minute, he removed the clothes and the pieces were already joined together. The bride got down to meet her husband. Everyone was surprised.
Few hours to the end of the contract, reality began to dawn on Charlie. His friends visited him and bade him farewell. Charlie was sorry for himself. He felt he should repent but, it was already too late. At the exact time, he was already on his deathbed when lightening and thunderings began. He died without quenching his thirst for more.
