There lived a great warrior in a far away land. This warrior lived in the palace of a great King. He was a skilled warrior. The king loved him for his special way of winning battles. The queen gave him one of her maidens to be his wife.

One day, the warrior committed a very grievous offense against the kind and queen. He was interrogated and he owned up that he committed the offense. It was an act of dishonesty. He begged for mercy and pardon. The queen then decided to give him a research work to do.

The queen told the warrior to go and find answers to a question. The question is What do women want and love the most?. The warrior was confused at first. He set out on the journey to look for what women want and love the most. He journeyed for many days. Yet, no one was able to tell him the correct answer.

After five days, he met an old woman in the forest who was cutting leaves for medicine. He guessed that the old woman should have the answer to his question so, he offered a helping hand. While helping her with the leaves, he asked her if she knew what women want most. The woman replied that before she tells him the answer, he must promise to do whatever she will ask him to do. The warrior made a promise to do anything the old woman would ask him to do.

The old woman said that what women want most is the control of their husbands and their own life. The old woman then followed the warrior back to the palace. The answer was correct and the queen forgave him of his offence. The old woman then told the warrior to marry her for saving him from the punishment of the queen. The warrior didn't like the appearance of the old woman. The old woman said she would give him two options.

The first option is that she would make herself beautiful like a young lady but will be unfaithful. The second option was that she would be ugly but faithful. She told him to choose out of the two. He thought deeply for a while and then responded that she should choose for herself. The old woman was impressed by the control he gave to her. In order to reward him, the old woman made herself both beautiful and faithful.
