Happy 3rd Monday of August dear friends, how are you today or how was your day? Do you enjoy bonding with your family 👪? How was your weekend or how did you spend your weekend? Did you go out with your family or loved ones?
My family and I (the foodie family 👪 🍲) spent the weekend having a family bonding. A Fambam (meaning family bonding and moments) that is. Though we only stayed at home hahahaah😁.. But we had a great time talking, eating together as a family, and them (hubby and the kids played a lot of online games) while me of course, I prepared and cooked food for us hehehe 😂. My husband also did some fixing and carpentry in the house. On a Saturday and later in the evening 🌃 I think we were initially planning to have a barbeque and cooked out (just outside the house 🏡) but the strong rain came rushing so we just fried the meat and the squid into adobong squid instead 😅. We even bought charcoal for the barbeque and grilling meat and squid but the fickle-minded weather ruined it. It was a bright and sunny day the whole day when all of a sudden, it started to rain ☔. Well, we can only do the charcoal grilling at around 7 pm onwards so as not to disturb our neighbors with the smoke especially while they are drying their clothes during the day.
On Sunday, yes that was yesterday. We still have no plans of going out because there was news that our city government detected a delta variant from a returning Overseas Filipino Worker and the city's Lead Contact Tracing Team is currently tracing the whereabouts of the person. With that in the news and being cautious, we stayed at home.
Today, on the city's local Facebook page there was an update about the returning OFW, the first detected Delta variant case in the city regarding the tracking down of contacts. From the report, the OFW/delta patient interacted with at least 142 individuals (including close contacts) as provided by the Link Analysis, one of the analytical tools being used by the city's Lead Contact Tracing Team in contact tracing. We know from the national news how deadly and contagious delta is. The residents are advised to better stay at home and follow strict protocols because they say there could be more people who had exposure to the delta variant patient which is causing an alarm to the locals.
Earlier today my husband traveled back to where he works. He bought pasalubong or presents from our locality for his co-workers and neighbors. I also asked him to buy me my favorite strawberry 🍓 jam 🍓 hahaha. I'm like a kid asking for pasalubong. too. Every time he purchases presents/pasalubong I often ask him to buy me that strawberry 🍓 jam that I love. 🍓❤️😍
