Thank you, Lord, for the awe-inspiring day! Another day to give You praise. 🙏😇
Good day, it's kinda gloomy today but that won't stop us from washing our blankets and comforters hahhaha😅 as long as it doesn't rain. It's better than a whole day of rain. Every evening is a nonstop rain but that's okay because it's not that strong unlike when there's a typhoon, no strong winds either. The serene rain creates sounds, like music to my ear that is so peaceful to hear and keeps a good temperature for a perfect sleep. 😴
Earlier, I was able to check and go around the backyard to inspect some of our plants. Thankfully our strawberries 🍓 were fine because they've been covered not just from rain but from direct sunlight too. Fortunately, they were not soaked in too much water though we have to re-pot a lot of its seedlings, it has become crowded in 1 pot.
Our peppermint 🍃 🌿 is safe from the rain and wind although it has some dried leaves they say it's just normal if their leaves would dry from time to time, it's not dead and it will soon regrow its leaves.
Unfortunately, our eggplants 🍆 was partially damaged. It has several eggplants hanging and we have to harvest them though it has not fully grown. We only have 3 pots of eggplants but each pot would produce at least 4 to 5 fruits in 1 to 2 months. With that, we don't get to buy this in the market especially now, the price of vegetables is costly after the storm because most of the plants are destroyed from the typhoon 🌀. The 3 pots of eggplants were given by a neighbor who planned to move back to their province. They cannot bring all their plants with them so they decided to leave them to us.
