Congrats to those who joined in my cashrain. It's not much but that's all I can do for now. Not sure when will be the next one though. How true is it that there are bots i.e. cheaters in cashrain too? Sad. Makes me wary to do cashrain again. This is new. I guess this indicates that the community has rained some bch. I don't see it in most of the communities that I visit so that's my most probable guess. The cashrain that I did had more than the number of entries that I set. I wonder how cashrain will do that. Will it reward the first ones or will it choose randomly too? It's another Wednesday Not Wednesday Addams, although I do like that series and the one who played as Wednesday really owned up to that character. I'm talking about today, Wednesday. Last week, I posted this in my Hive account. You can check out more photos here. https://www.facebook.com/groups/3894506930660271/permalink/5408171432627139/ That's a photo of Foam Coffee's Beef with Gochujang ang Kimchi. It was not spicy at all at first then it suddenly hit me in one of the spoonful that I ate. Good thin I paired that with iced coffee which did the trick, not right away of course. The spiciness lingered but gradually abated. By the way, Iced Americano has three shots of coffee while the hot version has only two shots. No wonder I did not sleep for a day after our meal there. It was only the other day that I learned of the difference of iced and hot Americano because it was mentioned by the staff. It wasn't mentioned the first time. See the motorcycle in the background inside the cafe? Cool, right? So why did I mention this? As stated above, I posted this in my Hive account and it was muted because I violated the community's rules and guidelines which was not to post contents in that community that was posted somewhere else even if it is your own. This is the reason why I got a bit disappointed with Hive. As what my friend said, it's like spending your money between McDonald's and Jollibee, which are two major fastfood competitors here in the country. It is your money so you have the choice where to spend it. Just because you patronize one doesn't mean you are forbidden to go to the other. Just like in platforms like this. Your contents are your money. It's your own. It's your choice where to post it. BUT, YET, HOWEVER, rules are rules and that's it. So if you can't follow the rules, then better leave. Not all communities are like that in Hive so always check the rules and guidelines before posting. This is a reminder to us who are in Hive. In another topic, I just received an email notification while writing this. To my Filipino friends, who here have GCASH? Have you explore GInvest? I invested in one of the portfolios which is ALFM Global Multi-Asset Income Fund Inc. some months ago. Last October, I received PHP4.00 dividend, PHP9.00 in November and now PHP14.00. Imagine if you have enough spare and you invested it there. The more you invest, the more share you'll get but again that depends on the market. For now, it's not that much but every cent counts. Whatever I earned from that, I reinvest it to the portfolio. There goes my post for today. How have you been faring so far this week?

It's interesting how different cultures have their own way of saying things or a word for things we usually don't have a word for. Have you found out what the word means? Earlier today I was able to go for a morning walk which I enjoyed. I didn't feel as physically tired when I did. Maybe because my mind was set to it. Mindset really works. I even went more than my usual 10k steps. I have no problem going beyond 10k. I think the most I had was 30k steps. I'm not sure when will I do that again or if I will be able to top that. Whenever I reach 10k steps, I would then walk towards our jeepney terminal and then go home so that gives me around 1k more steps. However, today, I reached 13k steps. I haven't done that in a while. Then once these beginners make it big, don't have that attitude of entitlement that they should notice you. You weren't there when they were beginning and struggling. Talking about struggles. Still I'm not able to land a job. I had an interview the other day. It was from an American company so I had to adjust to their time. I thought my email will be ignored because it has been five days or more since I sent them an application. Most of the ones I have applied took them a day or two to reply. However, it is understandable that it took this long because they do have lots of applicants and not only that there are other things to be done as well. When I received their response regarding my application, I was asked if I will be available for an interview to which I replied I am of course and a schedule was set. I was already logged in to the Zoom link they sent through my email 15 minutes before the said time. It wasn't until past 10 minutes of the scheduled time was I interviewed and it was pretty quick. I wasn't expecting that. I wanted to think that I wasn't qualified which is most probably so but it's part of the game. We can't have it all. Learn from those rejections instead. If you haven't checked the post of Duvinca, do you have a clue already as what the title means? Here's another. We picked up my partner's Christmas bag from their office yesterday. It was full of assorted things like chocolates, wine, pasta, things for macaroni salad and a can of Pringles. The Pringles was consumed already. We are not much into chocolates these days. Saturday walk Yesterday, we had to go buy things that my partner needed for their Christmas event last night. Here's a link of a reel I made of short clips while walking around town. The place was improved. They expanded to the next space beside it. I think it was a souvenir shop before. Business seems to be doing great. Then we had to pick up one last item before we going home. Right now, I'm still in the process of growing my page. Currently, there are 200+ followers. My goal for now is 500 then eventually increase that as I keep achieving milestones. So back to my walk. I didn't know it will take that much step for us to do our errands and stuff but yesterday we accumulated 6k steps. Not close to the usual goal of 10k but I'm still okay with it since I surpassed the 5k count. I have gained a lot again for my clothes are tighter and I feel heavier. I don't have a weighing scale so my indication of me gaining weight is through my clothes and how my body feels. I kept telling myself that I will go for a walk since I don't have anything to do anyway but cold days are here and it's hard to wake up early and I feel lazy to go out in the afternoons as well. Still, I'm glad that I have occasions where I can go for a walk and it feels good. Also, I don't like to think that just because it is the holiday season, we should let myself loose and eat a lot. It's harder to lose weight for me and nowadays it is easier for me to gain. Oh, give me the encouragement and motivation to go out for more walks lol! Anyway, I hope you all are keeping yourself healthy. These days, we can't afford getting sick. I know I have not been wise in eating healthy food so I was hoping to go out for walks more to compensate at least. Today, we had almost the same number of steps again because we checked out the Session Road Sunday event. Not much of sellers there but more of cosplayers and then a car show. Oriental Winter Wonderland This photo was taken yesterday when me, @Bloghound and friends visited one of the Christmas villages here in the city, in particular Baguio Country Club. It was my first time to partake in this yearly event I think. I'm trying to remember if I was there before but I'm coming up blank. Why was it called Oriented Winter Wonderland? There are Chinese and Japanese pagodas and also some Korean inspired set up as well. You can check more photos here in my page. I hope you check it and give me a follow if you are not there yet. It's still a good experience but I'm not sure I'll be doing it again. Here in the Philippines, as early as late part of August, anything Christmas is already evident. As the days and months leading to December approaches, more and more decorations and lights are being set up. Once All Saints/Souls Day is over, Christmas season is in full blast until the early parts of January. When @Bloghound and family finally decided to move back down to the lowlands after staying here in the city for a long time, every December they would come up to the city for a visit. Because yesterday was a holiday, we then planned on meeting with them again. It has become a thing for us, a tradition if you will. Whenever we go down to the beach, we would meet with them too. At the ticketing booth of the Christmas village, there are guidelines and also someone reminding the public about them over a speaker. They require you to have mask and a vaccination card. We bought mask from vendors outside the village. However, once we are inside, most people are not wearing mask. Anyway, inside the village are shops where food and drinks and other non-consumable goods are sold. There are varieties of different colored trees all around us. Because the village was not yet lit, my friends hunted for food to eat while I waited with them. We didn't wait long before the program of Nativity started then the lights were lit. What got everyone excited was the bubble machines spewing soap suds in the air. There were four of them and the machine runs for about 5 minutes then stops and then it will be turned on again after 20-25 minutes. I didn't have something to protect my head from getting wet so when the machines are on, I'd rather stay under a shade or away from them to keep myself dry. My shoes weren't spared though for the suds covered the ground. Every so often, a personnel would sweep those to the side. It was a wet, colorful and crowded experience. However, without the bubble machines, the place would not be that interesting. There were those in costumes like anime, Santa, Korean attire that you can have photos with. There were also pagodas and nativity scene. There were also a stall for the club's pastries which is one of the bests in the city. Again, without the soap suds in the air mimicking snow, it was just an ordinary Christmas village. Comparing it to what they did at the Botanical Garden, I'd rather go there even if there is no bubble machine. The entrance to the club is expensive as compared to the Botanical Garden. There is one more Christmas village that we plan to go to but maybe before the month ends. It's a busy month for everyone now and setting up schedules and planning things can be challenging. In the background above you can see the stage where a program was ongoing and also the bubble machines were turned on. You can also see the crowd which was continued to come and go. I'm pretty sure many are wet if not everyone from the suds. I quickly took photos and videos before walking away from these machines and once they stopped, I'd go about taking more photos and videos. This village is open from 10 am to 10 pm and will run until January 8, 2023. I like visiting Christmas villages or should I say Christmas lights' villages because I admire those colorful lights and whatever theme they have. How about your Christmas village in your area? I read a comment in which the person said that the community owners get the most of the rewards in cashrain. Maybe from those who donated to the communities and the author of those communities are not giving anything in return. What's worrisome are the those with multiple accounts signing in using their Twitch and/or wallet.
