Hi, read.cash buddies!
How’s everyone doing? What’s on your menu today?
First of all, i would like to acknowledge and thank @Bloghound , @ARTicLEE , @TengoLoTodo, and @Eylz2021 for the sponsorship. Thank you so much guys! ❤️
I asked these because I don’t know what to cook or prepare for our family. With the continuous rain that we’re experiencing for more than a week or so. We’re running out of stock’s a good thing though we still have rice. Since the start of the typhoon, we only stayed inside our homes. We can’t even go to the stores near us for the reason that our stairs became slippery, there are trees to avoid with its branches and trunks might fall and the many electrical wires swinging with the wind. There had been a power interruption yesterday thankfully it only lasted for at least 2 hours. I think the outage was reported immediately and the linemen are able to resolve it otherwise it will take longer hours like in some areas where a line post fell, it took more than 24 hours to be fixed.
Giving it a thought on what would be on our menu, for now, I then remembered I still have packs of Jin Ramen that I bought online.
To check on what to add to that ramen to make it a little healthier haha😂.. I added a few strips of crab sticks and crab balls, several dried seaweeds (ordered online), boiled eggs.
I don’t have cheese at the moment, but when I have, I slice it into thin strips and put it on top of the cooked ramen before serving it together with the cut-boiled eggs. You can as well garnish it with chopped onion leeks.
A few days ago a neighbor shared their cucumbers to us. It's about 3kg, i turned it into a vegetable /cucumber salad/kimchi. My mom on the other hand made a danmuji (a yellow pickled raddish) from the extra raddish that she bought for sinigang. Adding these two as side dishes.
I manage the adding of its seasoning, to avoid it from being too spicy for the kids. There’s also a liter of milk for us to consume when it gets too hot haha😂..Always be ready with a glass of milk when you eat spicy foods. I guess this menu is perfect for the cold weather we’re into right now.
Enjoy and appreciate whatever food is served on your table. Be grateful even for the simplest and smallest blessings that we receive. Have a blessed day! Stay safe and warm!🤗
*TIPS – buy online when there is a sale, use vouchers and coins if you have

Thinking of what to cook is really the problem of many. Even our helper asks ne every nught on what to cook the following day. We cannot cook some dishes that requires a lot of ingredients because we need to save money for othet stuffs especially now that it is pandemic. So we usually have adobo, sinigang, nilaga every month. Then for vegetables we would have either fried or boiled like eggplants, kangkong and kamote. My dad prefers a lot of vegetable these days because we need to strengthen our immune system. Then every Friday, we would have soup. We also have a stock of Jin ramen. Yummy. I make buddae jjigae with it.
