Drinking Coffee While Being Productive Hi, Read Cash fam! How are you? Long time no write here. I am very busy with my personal life and some blogging on Hive. Now, I just want to relax. It's been a week and we are still sick Hi, Read Cash fam! I've shared this photo on Hive, a photo of my kids when started to get sick. It's been a week already and here we are, still sick. Last Saturday, I started to feel better but my kids and husband are still sick. After a few days, I started to get sick. Well, it was last night when my body started to feel down. I just want to stay in bed and sleep. I wasn't able to clean and change my kids. I told my husband that I was just starting to be sick. He understood so he washed and put on new clothes for the kids. I woke up this morning still sick and my kids were asking for food. It was too early at 7 AM, I just wanted to sleep more. Elise ate some biscuits and went back to sleep. Alexandre asked for water. And we woke up again and it was 11 AM. Elise and Alexandre asked again for food. After eating little meals, I gave them paracetamol to subside the fever. My husband woke up and he prepared our breakfast + lunch. I went back to bed because my body was still in pain. I took a nap for 20 or 30 minutes. Later on, I felt my hunger. I still do my daily routine of washing the clothes and cleaning the dishes from last night's dinner. It's just that I am so tired even now. I missed doing my exercise or doing my 10K steps a day. It will take a while to get back on my active lifestyle. Sigh! That's it for today's blog. See you around!

Who wants to ride an electric bike? Hi, Read Cash fam! I am sharing with you some photos of our electric bike here in France. I've shared the pictures on Hive as well. So far, I have been able to ride the bike at least 20 kilometers. It is fun to ride since the electric capability of the bike brings you to different places in just a few hours. My husband said this is such a lazy bike since you don't stress your legs pedaling. He even doubts if I could get a real exercise here. Hahaha! It is good to bike when I am alone but when my child is on the bike seat, I get scared for her/his safety. Well, the kids are heavy and I am just afraid that I will lose my balance. Actually, I got into a bike accident not just once but twice. The first one, I fell while Elise was with me. Good thing she was wearing a helmet. The second accident, this time I got several scratches but they were safe inside the trailer. It was just me who got hurt so badly. I used to have a city bike, some people call it a Japanese bike because, in the Philippines, there are several surplus bikes coming from Japan. I bought it for PHP 3,500. It was cheap. Well, about $60. But the price of this e-bike is so expensive. It was 999 Euros. With this price, in the Philippines, you can buy a second-hand motorbike already. That's it for today's blog! I'm doing great on Hive Hi, everybody! How are you? Long time no write here on Read Cash as I've been busy in real life. Also, I was busy blogging on Hive. So far, I've been doing good. I have so many photos on my hard disk that's why I was working hard writing there every day. But in reality, my kids are very sick and so is my husband. It's me I'm getting better. Still, I feel bad for Alexandre as he is so sensitive when he gets sick. Right now, I am really tired. Not sure if I can publish an article for tomorrow. Also, I got a new phone which I have a funny story about but I will let my excitement subside first. So, I want to create an alternate account on Hive for my fitness journey. I updated my Fitness app on my phone with my watch and I also downloaded Strava app. Geez, it takes time to settle everything. Also, my alternate account can't create any post yet. LOL

When can I start to read this book? Finally, found an English book here in France. I found this book on the beach. Sorry, I forgot to take a pic where I got it. But here in France, they have a little storage box outside of public places where you can share your books when you don't want them anymore. Good thing, it's a travel-related novel. The book looks new as well. After many years of living in France, it was the first time I grabbed a book. I grabbed a cup of coffee here in our kitchen and started to read a few pages. Currently, I am busy at home so I don't have so much free time reading this. I have so many clothes I need to fold. I also need to clean the house. So far, I have cleaned the toilet and the bathroom. The bedroom slash playroom of the kids is currently in chaos as the kids throw the toys all over the place. I am not sure if I can make a book review. I am really bad at doing it. Anyway, my orders from AliExpress have arrived. Can't wait to take pics of them and write about it. Good day everyone!

The house is a big mess as the kids throw all their toys everywhere, as usual. The husband was busy at work during the weekends so I was left with the kids. I wasn't able to do a general cleaning. 9K steps for today This afternoon, the family went to the park as we missed the time for the indoor swimming pool. So tomorrow, we will go swimming. I made 9395 steps today. The goal should be 10K steps but anyway, I was tired already. In the photo below, I used the amenity for my exercise then I also went to the football court to walk around. In the playground, I also walked around while the kids were playing. While walking, I have some realizations. I need time alone To complete 10k steps a day, I need time alone for at least 1 hour. I need to get off the grid I've been online and I also have a part-time online gig. I've spent so much time on Hive already. Hahaha! Another update LOL, I forgot to publish this yesterday. So, today, we went to the indoor swimming pool. OMG, I am so tired!

Spent 50 Euro on AliExpress I'm back but I've been so busy the past few days and weeks. Well, in the past few weeks, we've been to the indoor swimming pool in another town so that we can have our exercise. I don't have photos of us but I am glad that the kids enjoyed their swimming with their inflatable thingy in their arms. We've been out and about to go to the park as well. The house has been messy lately as the kids just throw all their toys around. And suddenly, I decided to go online shopping today. Hahaha! Things I ordered on AliExpress Portable MP3 Player Hahaha! I am so old school. I realized that I need a separate music player instead of using my Android phone for music. Because my phone's battery easily gets drained and I don't have a huge memory on my phone. My phone is so cheap worth 100 Euro so I really need to upgrade my phone as well. That, I need to save money. The MP3 player costs about 11 Euro. I am so cheap. Sandisk mini SD card Since the SD card is not free, I have to buy it separately. I bought 64 GB and 32 GB worth about 11 Euro in total. DSLR camera bag I was looking for a shoulder bag for my camera. Instead of buying branded items, I went to Aliexpress to search for cheap camera bags but durable. It costs about 18 euros. Camera Dust Cleaner I also realized that I haven't cleaned my Nikon D5100. I forgot to bring my cleaning accessories as I left them in Cebu. So, better to buy on AliExpress for about 13 euros. I just feel like spending money today and I also need to encourage myself on using my Nikon D5100. Of course, I need to clean it. The old camera bag that I bought for PHP 300, I don't like it anymore. It doesn't have too much capacity and my phone is not protected well if I put it inside. I also need a waterproof case so the camera I ordered has a case included. I need to exercise I want to do my solo walking or running while playing music that's why I wanted the MP3 player. Hoping I'll be encouraged more to work out in the next few weeks. Busy with Hive I am also busy writing for Hive. I am addicted. I have some drafts I saved, a few articles are ready to publish. LOL I need to organize my life I feel like my mind is in chaos. I realized that I need to write here on Read Cash for personal updates or like a daily diary for reminders and for a to-do list. So, yeah, I am excited to receive my orders in the next two weeks. I need a new haircut Oh, yeah, my hair is a mess lately. My hair is long but I am too lazy to brush my hair. I need to cut my hair short. It is so expensive 40 euros. I miss the time when I was in the Philippines, the haircut was about $3 and a massage spa was $5. I even do that monthly, pampering myself for $10. Omg, so many things to do. :D

Our Internet is Back since Thursday Last week on a Saturday, there was a storm, and a strong wind came. And the last thing I know, our internet connection was cut off at midnight. My husband was at work and sent a message an hour earlier if we were fine with the kids. Many times I tried to troubleshoot but nothing happened. So I gave up. Our TV wasn't working and so was the telephone as they are all connected to the internet. So, the kids and I decided to sleep at 1 AM. My husband arrived at 6 AM and went straight to sleep. Later, he told me he tried to do some troubleshooting before he went to sleep. For the whole Sunday, we were just lazy. I was sleeping the whole day, I mean, after eating lunch. Kids were playing in the play area. Elise came to my bed to sleep beside me. Alexandre also went upstairs to sleep. The husband went to the barn to fix something. Monday, we decided to go to the lake to walk around. I wasn't able to take photos. The internet wasn't fixed. The kids also enjoyed the playground. I was able to connect to the internet using my husband's mobile hotspot. I published some articles on Hive that I drafted for how many days. But I made sure to interact with others here on Read Cash when I can. But no updates for how many days. Tuesday, same as usual, having our lunch. We prepared ourselves to go to the indoor aqua park in another city. We need to swim as our exercise, at least, for me and my husband. We alternate, I play with the kids while he goes swimming, and he plays with them when it's my turn to swim. Wednesday, we just stayed at home as my husband was waiting for some parcels to arrive. Still no internet, so we used the mobile hotspot. It was just a regular day doing house chores. Thursday, we were preparing ourselves for another trip to the aqua park in another city. But it got canceled when Alexandre and Elise fell from the bed. Elise was fine even though she hit her head on the floor. But Alexandre hit his chin on the floor and there was blood from his mouth. It was a busy day. Friday, I was able to send a message to my client that our internet is back and told him some personal updates. Also, I found several photos from my past travels that's why I was able to do some articles for Hive. I just joined the Photography community as well. So happy to see that I am making a little progress on Hive.

Finally, I registered my SIM A few days ago, I was a little bit worried about not being able to register my SIM. I asked a friend in the Philippines to do it for me but I fell asleep when she tried to register. Since she was busy, I could not disturb her again. Then, I found out later that I need to download an app called GlobeOne to register. I was able to register last night. As someone who lives away from the Philippines, I use my number for roaming and most importantly, to receive OTP for my PH bank account. Another achievement: I cleaned the kitchen area My husband is out at work and I am alone with the kids. Finally, I was able to clean the kitchen area. The floor was very dirty. Well, I wasn't able to take photos because my husband doesn't like when I post photos of any parts of the house. Editing Videos I am busy editing videos of our Ski Holiday Video. I am using the Icecream Video Editor. It's free, so if you're looking for a free video editor, check out this one. And for Royalty Free Music, check bensound.com. You need to attribute them to using the music freely. Just follow the instructions from the website when you download. I am really enjoying watching my ski videos because of the progression I made in just a week of skiing. Now, I love to watch other skiing videos on Youtube as I need to see how other people ski. Also, I need to identify my mistake so that I will improve in my next ski holiday session. Rusty is rewarding me! After I posted my article yesterday, so happy to say that Rusty has given me rewards. And best of all, so happy to interact with everyone. I am hoping my best to visit other articles and leave a comment. I am just so happy to see updates from everyone. Anything you can advise me on Hive? After my ski holiday, I am inspired to write articles every day. But there is a decline in earnings. One thing I feel is that the big whales didn't like my travel-related articles lately that's why I don't receive big tips. Like my two latest articles (food and travel), it never earned even one dollar. As a newbie, how did you manage this kind of disappointment? I tried my best to interact with other people. Are we back on track, Readers? The last time I was on a Christmas holiday, I was shocked to learn that the Random Rewarder said bye-bye. I never closed my Read Cash, I still keep on checking it just to see who is still staying on this blogging platform. I have to admit that I miss the people I was interacting with. So, there was silence in the few months here. In the real world, my life has been so busy attending to the kids and cleaning the house every day. Christmas Holiday in Paris and Belgium Last December 2022, I was on a Christmas Holiday in Paris and Belgium. We always have this yearly tradition to spend Christmas with my husband's family in Paris to meet the cousins. We also went to Belgium to see the new baby in the family. We went to Parc Asterix, another theme park in France aside from Disneyland Paris. It was raining the whole day and enjoyed the rides for the kids. On a Ski Holiday - Year 2 From March 6 to 16, 2023, my family and I went on a ski holiday. The only time there's something new about me is when I travel. And I have to admit that taking winter skiing seriously is such a big decision. LOL! I never thought it was just pure game and fun until I was able to play in a bigger playground. I also realized that the ski pass for one person is very expensive, for 55 Euros, that's for the whole day and unlimited use of the ski pass. You can go anywhere to different designed ski stations in the French alps. So, I need to find a job to sustain our life of travel. I am excited to go on another winter ski trip the next year. Spring Cleaning After the holiday, I immediately washed all our clothes. It took me one week to finish everything and store the clothes. I need to organize. I was able to clean the bedroom just two days ago. And now, it has returned to a mess because of the kids' toys. Sometimes, I realized, if not for traveling, my life as a mom could have been boring since my life right now is now revolving around as a stay-at-home mom. Passive Income on my travel blog Now that traveling around the world has now returned after the pandemic, I am so happy that my blogs about Japan and Taiwan are very trending right now. A few people visited my blog and booked tours in Japan and Taiwan. Last month, there were some blog readers booking for Bali, Phuket, and Palawan. So, I need to update my travel blog to update the available tours. I am just happy that people are getting back on Read Cash because this platform has been my safe place to update what's happening in real life. I am hoping to interact with everybody here! I am back to Travel Blogging Hi everyone! I apologized for not being active the last few months of 2022 as I was really busy. Suddenly, I read the news that Rusty has left already. I used to earn from Rusty and I was motivated to write because he always gave me rewards. As much as I wanted to write about almost every day but personal life and taking care of the kids are my priority. Anyway, yes, I am back to travel blogging. For how many nights, my kids sleep in the same bed with me. My husband is sleeping in another room as he is easily affected by the flu. Somehow, my immune system is resisting. I am not yet sick. I am able to do the usual home chores. Should I stay here on Read Cash? Seems like a lot of Filipino writers/bloggers here are leaving the platform when Rusty bade his goodbye. I am sad to know that they gave up and a few people are active here. I decide to upload my 1-minute videos on YouTube I am very busy editing videos for FB reels that I became so addicted to views. OMG, this is sinful. Haha! Since I have so many videos saved on my laptop, I decided to upload my 1-minute videos on YouTube. So that, I can use the videos to embed here on Read Cash for blogging purposes. Then, I will also create longer videos in which I can collage a 1-minute video that is related to another video. I can make at least 3 to 4 minutes of videos combined. But I also have a lot of articles I want to publish here as well. I know I can make earnings here on Read Cash using my photos and videos. Last week, I already earned my second $10. That made me earn $20 in just 17 days I think. I am currently having $4 here so I am trying to achieve my third $10. I am not sure if I can earn $50 for this month. But I am too lazy in real life that I need to organize our house almost every day. I have already scheduled a few videos on FB reels and I have 9 videos that are not yet published. I have 6 videos I have published on FB reels. I don't want to include the videos from my mobile because the videos are mostly vertical. The horizontal videos are the things that I can edit and upload on YouTube. Yeah, yeah, I know I am not earning much on YouTube and FB reels but I realized that I can repurpose the videos here on Read Cash. I am really more of a storyteller/writer/blogger compared to a videographer/vlogger type of person. Also, I am trying my best to write articles for at least 300 words. I need to be motivated. Failure and Success in Dating Apps I wrote this in 2019 sharing with you my failure and success in using Dating Apps. Failure Well, I met someone in the place I am currently living in. I showed him around and it was his last two days on my island. While he already left for another island, he kept on sending me messages and asking me if I was interested in visiting other islands with him. I was hesitant. He was even interested to see me again maybe in another country I’d never been to. I followed him on a Visayas backpacking trip although I’ve been to those islands already which he had to visit for the first time. We separated. He hurt me. Too much drama. I traveled solo in Hpa-an, Mawlamyine, and back to Yangon. After Myanmar, I flew to Bangkok and stayed there for two weeks. Went to Phuket for only four days with a friend I met in the hostel as we were excited to see the beach. The unexpected turn of events Since it was just a short trip for us, why not use a dating app? So I met this guy and he was fine. We started exchanging messages on a messaging app. Later on, I found out his nationality, the same as the previous guy. I said to myself and to my friend, please never again. We managed to meet and I introduced him to my friends at a disco club in Patong. We just enjoyed the night dancing until morning. Later, he needed to leave as he was already sleepy, which was fine. While my friend and I went on some island tours, he invited me again to visit some around Phuket.  He told me that he planned on a getaway to Phiphi island for three days. I told him I had to leave Phuket, it was nice meeting him and I go back to Bangkok. The day of the James Bond island tour with my friend was also the day of his journey to Phiphi island which I believed we would never see each other again. My phone had no internet data and the next day was a flight to Bangkok. Arrived outside of the hostel very exhausted while my friend and I were talking. I was shocked when he just appeared in front of me and said, “Surprise!” Couldn’t help but we hugged each other tightly as that would be my last night in Phuket. He told me why he had returned from Phiphi and he sent several messages all day but I was unresponsive. He waited for me, he asked the receptionist if I was still around in the hostel or already checked out. Sorry, this is quite a long story but… He proposed to me if I could stay longer in Phuket and have a getaway together on Phiphi island. Telling me it would be his advance birthday gift to me before I turn 30. I was hesitant because everything was set to go back to Bangkok for volunteer work in a hostel. He convinced me to make amendments to my plan as he wants me to get to know him better. My four days in Phuket got extended to 11 days.
