Of course, when the word digital is in use, you should know we are more concerned about online activities.
For the topic to make more sense, let's look at a comprehensive or better way of explaining digital banking.

5 platforms that earn you Bitcoin passively
A lot of people put in all their sweat into buying Bitcoin. This is because a lot of these coins are way too expensive and the worst of it all is that they are all volatile.
The implication of this is that no one should put every of his earnings into buying these cryptocurrencies as a fall in market value can lead to depression especially when one already puts in everything in his financial portfolio.
How do we then scale through this challenge as a lot of us can't do without trading cryptocurrencies amidst its challenges– I know someone is already asking this question. Below is an answer.
Yes, we know that you can't do without trading cryptocurrencies because aside from its volatile nature, it can be very enriching and rewarding especially when you are about to sell off when the value is high. You are sure to make millions depending on the quantity in your possession.
To actually make it easier for you, we have come to introduce to you ways and platforms that can earn you free bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies but, at a passive rate.
"Passively" to some, sounds like an unfortunate word. This is because for some, passive earnings cannot enrich them.
The truth is, the reason why the majority of individuals lose all of their fortunes, is because of their get rich quick syndrome.
They despise the little beginnings and still remain poor, forgetting that "little drops of water makes a great ocean"
Come to think of it, we are supposed to value free gifts no matter how little.
Hear this, passive is better.
To earn passive coins simply means earning them continuously and for free. Passive earnings are usually long term that will produce great results tomorrow.
A very disheartening truth is this, most get rich quick schemes do not really work in reality. Oftentimes, it results in loss of fortunes and they are usually fraudulent activities.
If you calculate properly, you will realize that passive earnings in the actual sense are better in the following ways.
1. You pay little or nothing to earn.
Just like the platforms that can offer free bitcoins. All that is to it is simple tasks that are required for members to perform, and that way, you earn coins. Majority of the tasks are usually in the form of games in which you literally do not have to pay a dime to earn cryptocurrencies.
2. Saves you a lot of fortune
Even though they come in the form of little tokens, they can quickly accumulate into something big that will be very profitable tomorrow– All at the price of nothing. You really get them for free, and to that effect, saving yourself a lot of money that should have been used for purchasing coins at a very high price.
3. One time effort for perpetual profiting
To benefit from platforms like this does not take much from you. It only takes a few minutes of your time to set up your account, and you are on your way to endless earnings.
Once your account has been set up successfully, there is always a continuous drip of bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies that will amount to something highly profitable in the future.

Lionsgateico.com Review
Lionsgate is a community created platform concerned with projects on every form of animals and animal protection, conservation and care.
Lionsgate is a community-owned and driven project to protect animals and animal care.
It is also a platform or community designed to allow the value of tokens held per user to increase based on a low flat model. The minimum required slippage of 1% gives Buyers and sellers a unique advantage compared to other tokens which eliminate a larger portion of investor’s purchase.
According to Investopedia, Slippage refers to the difference between the expected price of a trade and the price at which the trade is executed.
Lionsgate initial coin offering is second to none.
Just like other platforms, an initial coin offering comes with an initial high price, but different for Lionsgate as tokens are traded at a relatively low price.
Uniqueness of Lionsgate
This platform is different from other platforms in a variety of ways.
1. Tokenomics
This is one of the unique features of Lionsgate. With this platform, understanding tokens and token availability becomes easier and simpler.
By tokenomics, we mean the understanding of the supply and demand characteristics of cryptocurrency.
Trading becomes appealing when a trader understands the wisdom behind cryptocurrency and buying and selling of tokens.
In the traditional economy, economists monitor the issuance of a currency using official money supply data.
The numbers they report are generally called M1, M2 and — depending upon the country — M3 or M4 as well. These numbers help to enable transparency and monitoring of different aspects of the supply of a currency.
These numbers are important because, throughout history, kings, queens and governments have had a habit of creating additional money in their country. It turns out that running a country or fighting a war can be very expensive, and it was not always easy to raise revenues or balance a budget, which meant that it was often politically expedient to simply create more currency.
In the modern world, things like bank bailouts and pandemic responses have required governments around the world to create substantial amounts of new currency very quickly.
Lionsgate serves this relevance as they make provision of tokens at a very affordable rate.
While governments oversee this process, creating additional currency can cause a slow, or sometimes fast, reduction in the value of the existing money. We call this reduction “inflation” and it is most visible when the prices of the things we buy increase year after year.
In contrast to this process, cryptocurrencies and tokens built on blockchain have pre-set, algorithmically created, issuance schedules. This means that we can predict with quite some accuracy how many coins will have been created by a certain date in time.
This is a crucial factor in Lionsgate, as tokens created are so transparent that traders can understand.
2. It is 101% Decentralized
Lionsgate is a completely decentralized platform as there is no team allocation at launch.
Lionsgate is a community-driven platform.
Contract creators or Developers must buy from ICO same as community buys.
This token comes from blockchain technology which makes it highly decentralized and not under any form of government influence.
3. Deflationary Rate
This is actually a strategy that helps to reduce the rate of cryptocurrencies in circulation.
99% of the supply of their tokens are being sent to the burn address. As this address also participates in the protocol, it accumulates more tokens, thereby effectively removing them from circulation.
A burn address is an address to which you can send assets, but from where they can never be recovered because there is no private key corresponding to that address. So it literally "burns'' the assets. Burning assets is a way of reducing circulation thereby increasing their value.
The usage of a burn address is what makes it easier for Lionsgate to minimize the rate of currency circulation, and thereby increasing its value in the market.
This action is necessary for any platform that wants to maximize profit from trading their tokens as too much circulation of currencies triggers a reduction in value and consequently price of it and other products.
4. Highly secured platform
Lionsgate is a very strong, safe and reliable platform that supports token burn, and the complete lock of any cryptocurrency.
Their **Rugproof** platform is absolutely reliable as it offers an ecosystem that locks token allocations during the pre-sale stage of cryptocurrencies based projects, thus guaranteeing a rug-free environment.
To be a pivot or support to the community-based project visit http://Lionsgateico.com
I have been following the project for a while now and you found it very innovative and viable, that’s the reason I invested.
I want to believe Lionsgate is a great project and they’re currently in the ICO stage. And it’s worth investing in.
This is not financial advice. DYOR.
Away and back: the accident, the recovery and the return
I don't know if anyone noticed, I have been away from.read.cash for more than two months. My last post before yesterday's post was an update post of the second round of my mini-competition "Bitcoin cash Treasure Hunt" in March. https://read.cash/@Alpher/stop-being-jobless-do-any-of-these-5-jobs-from-your-bed-408cfd98 https://read.cash/@Alpher/bchtreasurehunt-march-round-2-update-1f9cbd7c
The next day after the post was involved in an accident which led to injuries and my phone damaged. I spent several days at the hospital receiving treatment and spent the rest at home recovering.
**The Accident**
I have shared my unemployment status in some of my posts ad how I have been managing to provide for the family by engaging in several side hustles and weekend gigs.
On that faithful day, I had an ushering gig at a wedding event. So I boarded an Okada (commercial motorcyclist) to get to the event center. The Okada started rough, I warned him to be careful. Later I didn't care anymore how fast he was going because I checked the phone and realized I was behind schedule.
On the way, a kid recklessly attempted to cross the road without looking out for oncoming vehicles, and the Okada was already close. Attempting the avoid hitting the kid, he ran into a car coming on the other side of the road. Fortunately for us, the car was not at high speed. The next thing I remembered was waking up on a hospital bed. Surrounded by my mum and siblings.
I saw the worry on their face and I could read that mum has been crying. I only had a concussion, shoulder dislocation, and some injuries to my arms and legs. The Okada man came off worse as he also had fractured bones. After some days I was ready to be discharged but there was not enough money to settle the hospital bills. A few days later with support from friends, mum was able to settle the bills ND I went home.
**The Recovery**
I was at the hospital for more than two weeks. I was told I woke up a few hours after been rushed to the emergency ward. The next day I was moved to the male's ward because the emergency ward was congested and there was no room for new cases. The few hours I spent there were terrible. There were sounds of pain and agony from fellow patients, cries from families and relatives who lost their beloved ones in the ward. About two patients have announced death within the few hours I spent at the hospital. Most Nigerian public hospitals' emergency care and services are bad, a tale for another day.
I underwent a couple of scans to ensure there was no internal injury or complication from the accident. With the combination of drugs, physiotherapy, and the life and care from my family, my recovery was fast. I hated drugs, but mum was always there to help me through. The painful part of the treatment was dressing of the wound, when the bandages had to be removed and cleaned, then replaced with fresh ones. I would have stayed longer at the hospital, but the bills were getting too much. We managed to take care of the already incurred bill and were discharged to continue treatment from home.
I have not fully recovered, but today, I'm a lot better than I was last month.
**The Return**
The hospital bills have drained whatever little reserve the family had for an emergency. My family had to sacrifice a lot during these periods and mum had to borrow some money to take care of my treatment bills. When I think of the situation I have put everyone into I could help but secretly let out a few tears.
All I can think of is how to get back on my feet and start earning to first off take care of the debts we have incurred.
And one of the first thoughts is returning to read.cash to continue writing to see how much I could make. Well, my first post, which I published yesterday earned me $3 which is a start.
I hope to find the strength to keep writing and earn more to help me meet our financial needs. And I hope the bot visits my posts often than not, generously.
Please don't think I'm pathetic. I just felt like sharing my ordeal with you folks so you know why I have been away for so long after the start of something great - BCHTreasureHunt.
Thank you for reading to the end. I hope you will be back for the next post.

Stop being jobless: do any of these 5 jobs from your bed
I know that you are tired of being jobless and probably also tired of job hunting.
I also know that you don't mind having a job that pays you passively, let alone allow you to work from the very comfort of your bed.
With this kind of job, you need not to be in a hurry to meet up with work time. You set your own time. This simply means that you are the boss here.
Truly, the world has embraced technology and innovations.
With new ideas and innovations, it is easier to monetize even your own hobby.
Yes, your hobby can be monetized.– If you do not know, you should know that you can be paid for doing what you love to do.
I often make a statement each time I come in contact with jobless people, I go ahead to tell them that " even their laziness can pay them" As ironic as this may sound, it is so true because, just right there in your bed, you make some passive income.
Do not always have to remain under the pressure and bondage created by your boss and your job.
In this article, you shall be introducing jobs that you can literally do from the very comfort of your bed.
To be honest, there is no job anywhere right now. Unemployment has become the order of the day. So, the earlier you stop searching for jobs, and start earning with what you know how to do, the better for you.
Working from home gives you the chance to chase many of your dreams as you have all the time that you need.
A lot of the working class are really not happy with their jobs.
To run any of these jobs from home, you need time, interest, passion, patience and skill.
Yes, patience is needed because not all of these jobs instantly translate to cash. Some are long term while some require extra effort before you can see the yield.
Ofcourse, every business in life passes through the building process.
So, if your agenda is to work and earn while laying on your bed, you might have to consider any of the following jobs;
**1.Run a copy editing job**.
This is a job for those who are well skilled in communication and grammar. If you are this type that when you are on social media, the blunders you see makes you feel like you should throw up. All that is a sign that you can run a photo editing job.
Convert this skill of yours to money by signing up with upwork.
Upwork is a website that can connect you with a variety of copy editing tasks. It is simple to earn here as the more tasks you perform, the more money you earn.
Payment with upwork is very easy and fast as you get your payment straight to your account.— How great Is that?.
**2. Run a WhatsApp TV**
Just with the WhatsApp application on your phone, you can own a company of your own called "WhatsApp TV".
**What is a WhatsApp TV?**
WhatsApp Tv, originally known as WhatsApp television is a branded account that seeks to entertain, inform, educate, etc people on WhatsApp through the status features.(www.friendsimpact.com.ng)
You do not only entertain people with your status, you earn from there.
It is a win- win business— This is because you do what makes you happy and also earn from doing that. This is what I would call, reward for passion.
To know more on how to earn money with your WhatsApp TV, read our next article or you can read it up from www.friendsimpact.com.ng
3. Blogging
If you are the type that writes about anything and everything, then this one's for you.
Yes writing for many is a hobby, but interestingly, it is a job. All you need to do is to identify yourself as a freelance writer and get paid for writing articles or better still run your own blog and also earn passive income from it.
To run a blog, you should first of all, identify your area of interest or field of writing, which is what we call niche, pick up your pen and begin to write on topics relating to that field.
4. Enrol for Affiliate programs
In a simple language, affiliate programs are arrangements between an online merchant and a blogger or site owner, where the online merchant agrees to pay some amount of money to a site owner after he successfully sells his product through the site.
Owning a blog that draws high traffic is a good chance of becoming an affiliate marketer.
Amazon is a perfect example of an online merchant that offers affiliate marketing opportunities.
As long as your site is drawing traffic, go ahead to enrol for Amazon affiliate marketing, and earn yourself some money.
**5. Content marketing**
From my personal knowledge and opinion, content marketing is more than creating contents and materials like blog posts.
Content marketing extends to marketing people's products by the use of convincing- advertising and promotion of such products using your social media influence.
Sometimes, customers do not get convinced by the products alone, they get convinced by the face behind the product.
To do well as a content marketer, you need to create social media relevance and popularity.
To achieve a good social media influence, follow the steps below;
**1.Ceate a social media account**
There is nothing content marketing without a social media account. You absolutely need a social media account. It could be Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, whatsapp, or waplog.
**2. Share trending and solution driven ideas**
It does not end with creating a social media account. It extends to sharing contents that your audience cannot do without.
Show your audience what they love to see and hear. Create something beautiful. As much as possible make sure you update your followers with enticing contents every day. This is a super way to grow your audience and warn their trust.
Let your audience see you as a positive influence. That way, it is easier to influence their choices of products and services.
**Conclusion**
Influencer marketing is a great marketing strategy in our world today. So if you do not have a job, and you are tired of searching for one. Simply build yourself to the level of an influencer, and market products and services for people, and get paid in return.

The basic concept of the competition is to lock the grand prize in a BCH wallet on Bitcoin.com wallet and have participants hunt for the 12 recovery words to the wallet with the help of clues posted on my noise.cash page.
**Prize Update**

Will Earning $1000 BCH get me a table at “Club1BCH”
My Bitcoin Cash goal for the year is to have not less than $1000 at the end of the year which is more than 1 BCH at the current price and will likely give me a member spot at #Club1BCH. What if Bitcoin Cash (BCH) surges past $1000 and perhaps get to $30,000 as predicted by Marc before I could earn up to 1BCH? I will kiss joining 1BCH this year goodbye. I hope I can achieve having 1 BCH before the price surges to an ATH as it will be easier to achieve it at the current price.
The core members of the #Club1BCH have already surpassed the 1 BCH target and some are at 2BCH, 3BCH, and more. So they have already covered even if the price surges to $100,000, they will still have the 1BCH unless they chose to cash out.
#Club1BCH
*“We started as a single drop that soon became a river.”*
*“We are aiming to reach the goal by supporting and inspiring each other. Together, we will achieve our goal!”*
The members of the club aim to hold up to 1 BCH in their wallet and the goal of the club is for the core members who have already surpassed this feat to inspire, encourage and support the new members and each other to reaching the goal. It’s like a family where every member supports and encourages each other to become the best version of themselves.
The Club1BCH was born from a post by @PVMihalache (founder), followed recognition and subsequent creation of a logo by @Eybyoung (Co-founder), which was quickly adopted as the club’s official logo.
The name of this club emphasizes the member’s dream of achieving the 1 BCH. Many may have a bigger goal like having 5 BCH. But the journey of a thousand miles begins with a step. So your BCH dream no matter how huge it is will always start from you achieving 1 BCH first. This journey is not one that you need to walk alone, you need to network with like-minded people who share similar interests, that’s where the #Club1BCH steps in. The members of the club will be there to support and encourage you through the journey in their own little way.
The intent of this club is to help us get 1 BCH. The members follow each other, tip, comment as well as upvote the posts of its members. This little support from the members can help improve the visibility of your post as well as recognition from Rusty the bot, which in turn leads to loads of tips.
There are a few rules its members will have to adhere to, read more here.
My 1 BCH Journey
I joined read.cash one month ago, and I have earned close to $100. But I have spent most of it on tips, the #BCHTreasureHunt, and purchasing valentine gifts for my family. Currently, I have only $15 in my BCH wallet and Hodl mode has been turned on. I plan to hold most of my BCH earnings from read.cash and other platforms. And if possible, I will purchase some Bitcoin cash during the dip.
I have not earned Bitcoin cash in the last four days because I have not been active on the platform. My last post was more than 4 days ago. It was not intentional, I have been ill. I had to take some time off to take care of myself. Now I’m better and ready to get busy in here. The plan is to be active and publish consistently to improve my weekly earning. If I can publish an article a day or every other day, it will improve my chances of earning more from the bot as well as other users.
**The #Club1BCH Family**
The #Club1BCH Family comprises the following users and many more to come:
@PVMihalache @Eybyoung @tired_momma @Crypto_Politics @CryptoSorted @Eirolfeam2 @Ryryry143 @Jane @MoreGainStrategies @H3ruvim78 @Carabageac94 @youngdim1 @sjbuendia @CryptoWordsmith @Mynima @Ruffa @Laurenceuuu @TheSnarfy @Macronald @bmjc98 @BCH.Serg @Yen @Jeaneth @jekai_88 @bm8ter @Crackers @Snezana28 @RowanSkie @Anabiya
I’m aware that earning 1 BCH won’t come in a day or month; it will surely take some time. And I’m ready and willing to work hard to achieve the goal. Every cent matters in the journey to 1 BCH. I can do with all the help and support I can get from the #Club1BCH
Unemployed - How I Earn to Provide for my Family
As Nigeria's youth population grows, the number of graduates increases so do its youth unemployment rate. Thousands of young Nigerians are unemployed and I have fallen within this category.
After the joy of graduation and then the one-year at NYSC, I never thought I’d be unemployed for so long. And I can’t tell how long it would be before I get a job. Until it comes, how will I survive and take care of my family?
Just because you are unemployment doesn’t mean that the responsibilities will go away. The bills won’t stop coming – there will always be a bill to pay or a basic need to meet.
So, how do I earn to pay bills and take care of my family?
1. Home Tutoring
Mathematics has always been my favorite subject and many Nigerian kids dislike maths. If a child is performing badly at school, maths will almost always be the major challenge. So many parents who care about their kids’ academic performance lookout for extra tutoring away from their school hours. The common name here is home lesson. So, I offer tutoring services especially in mathematics, and mostly on weekends to students and pupils who are struggling with mathematics. Most of these clients are within my community, so, I don’t need to go far. I fix different hours of the day and different days of the week for the kids I teach. The challenge with the home lesson is that many Nigerian parents tend to take advantage of unemployed graduates. Some underprice them and may fail to pay when they should. At the start, some parents took advantage of my situation and failed to pay in full while some failed to pay claiming there is no money and they have not been paid. I had to adjust, I learned not to be taken advantage of and I’ve also set standards for myself. Now, I sometimes take payment before service or we agree on a weekly payment, instead of the usual monthly payment. And if my services are not appreciated, I stop and concentrate on others. I always put in my best to teach the kids and I take only a few so that I can give each of the kids quality time and attention. And my kids are doing great.
I get to earn some money and also get to impact knowledge on others.
2. Buying And Selling
There are some goods, mostly foodstuffs and wears that are expensive in my region. All I do is travel to another state where they are produced and sold at a cheaper rate, buy them in bulk, and bring them to my state to sell at a reasonable profitable price. I do the traveling and buying while mom does the selling. I usually go for what people in my community needs and things that can be sold easily. The challenge here is that some people buy on credit promising to pay at later date and it will take a lot of home visits or even eternity to get them to pay. But in general, we get to make a profit in the end.
3. Ushering at events
This gig isn’t always available, but when it comes, I get to usher at events, take free food home, and also get paid. I acquainted myself with event planners and catering service providers. Of course, they will have others lined up for the same gig. SO whenever I’m called, I will get to work and earn some money.
4. Farming
Living in a rural area opened up the opportunity of having access to farmland where we plant crops. I don’t do this alone, anyone old enough to use a hoe and cutlass efficiently works at the farm. We plant crops like yam, maize, cassava, and vegetables. Most of the produce is enjoyed by us but we also get to raise reasonable income from selling some. We also raise some birds (poultry) which are mostly consumed by my family. This saves money that would have been spent on buying expensive meat from the market or butchers. I also set traps to catch bush meats – mostly rabbits.
5. Help friends with soccer prediction and take a cut of their profits
A lot of Nigerians gamble. Not surprised why there are so many betting sites that provide betting services to the country. A lot of young guys around me gamble on football events. I love football and study stats a lot. So I get to make good predictions. So I predict for friends who are interested in my services, and they get to give me an agreed percentage when they win. Some prefer to pay for the tips before getting them from me, so they don’t have to share their huge profit with me. Of course, I make it known to them that nothing is sure in football, all I give are good choices based on my knowledge of the game and statistics.
6. Other Gigs
I have other gigs I earn from and one among a few is working with the Joint Examination and Matriculation Board (JAMB) CBT Centre during candidate registration for the examination. It usually lasts for about 6 weeks. The important part is that I get paid for my services.
7. Blogging on read.cash
It is said, “leave the last for the best”. This is my latest addition to the list of hustles. And joining the read.cash community has turned out to be the best decision I have made this year. I have earned some good amount which has helped me make some provisions at home. Though I’m not such a good writer, I try my best to produce something readable and appreciable. I thank the read.cash community for their support thus far. Without them making out time to read, like, and leave comments on my articles, Rusty might not have recognized my work. Thank YOU to the users who welcomed me and also tip my posts whenever they can. Special appreciation goes to @Telesfor @PVMihalache @carisdaneym2 @Eybyoung @Eirolfeam2 @jane @MicroReylatos and more.
**I have remained positive and proactive**
Since graduation, I have sent my resume to a lot of establishments and also interviewed with some of them but nothing good has come from it. I didn’t stay down in disappointment, though I did at the initial time, I had to pick me up with the courage from family and a few friends to stay focused on job searching and taking advantage of the opportunities around me. Unemployment is a challenging state, but it can also present a lot of opportunities for the calm, focused, and proactive few who are ready to seize opportunity when it presents itself.
Whatever I do, I avoid doing anything illegal and I don’t compromise people’s safety to make money. I have been presented with opportunities to make huge money illegally, but I don’t have it in me to compromise. I have been wired that way.
**I hope the opportunities keep coming and my hustle pays. I’ll keep looking forward to better days.**

FAQ
**Do I have to be a read.cash and noise.cash user to participate in the treasure hunt?**
No, the Bitcoin Cash treasure hunt is open to everyone who reads this article and the clues on noise.cash. Anyone can win, although I would appreciate it if you join read.cash and noise.cash and spread the word about Bitcoin Cash to your friends and family. You will also need a bitcoin.com wallet app to be able to restore the wallet.
**How do I recover the wallet?**
Once you've found all the 12 recovery words and their specific order, you have to quickly recover the fund in the Bitcoin.com wallet app. Immediately after you have restored the wallet, quickly sweep the bitcoin cash out of the wallet into your personal wallet, to prevent other participants from accessing your prize.
Follow **this guide** to learn how to restore a Bitcoin.com wallet using the 12-word recovery phrase. https://read.cash/@Alpher/restoring-bitcoincom-wallet-c3236cdb

This round of the treasure hunt will end on March 15, and the next round will commence on March 16. I will leave the bitcoin cash in the wallet for you to recover until the new round post is made on March 16. If not recovered, the prize will be moved over to the next round.
So what are you waiting for? Let's hunt!
**P.S., The first recovery word is hidden in this post. The clue to the word will be posted on noise.cash soon.**

After years in the university, what comes next is the compulsory one-year service to the country, NYSC (National Youth Service Corps). Fresh graduates are mobilized and deployed to various regions of the country. They will stay in their primary place of assignment for a year, after which they will be given a certificate of completion – The NYSC Certificate.
The new NYSC batch just got released and she has been posted to a rural area in the northern part of Nigeria.
It’s going to be really stressful, she has never been to such an area where you have to feed on whatever nature gives her, this area is not even the least civilized area, it’s below civilization. It is a little village with a church, a borehole, a few mud houses, a little market where she finds nothing she is used to, and a school, where she has been posted to. It is a community secondary school where children from about five villages gather together to learn. It is no doubt more hectic for the children coming from a really far distance. Here, she really has to serve her country and as well impact good academic and to the lives of the children that she will get to teach.
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is a program set up by the Nigerian government to engage Nigerian graduates in the nation's development and growth. It gives you the opportunity to meet new people, carry out projects, be useful to the country and also travel to places you probably would have never thought of ever been to, and that’s the situation she has found herself. After a few months of being in this area with my fellow corps member, they have gotten to adapt well to the environment and every other thing including; the people living in the area as well as the students whom they teach.
Teaching is a really fun job to participate in especially having to share knowledge with a bunch of kids who are ever ready to learn or not. She got to understand the difference between a kid in such rural conditions and a kid who had grown up in the best-civilized society you can find. When she got to engage in a conversation with several people and also her fellow teachers, she learned to understand that accommodation is what actually brings out the best in people and also helps in understanding the kind of personality they are. As stated earlier, the people of this community feed from whatever nature had provided for them, so basically they were mainly farmers, fishermen, and hunters, trying to sustain themselves and the lives of one another.
Teaching can be really hectic and she really missed the goodies of the home which virtually everyone in this area has no access to.
During her stay there, she got to understand another perspective of life and that Is, “not everything in life comes served on a platter of gold”. Up until now she never really understood what it really meant to have no access to the best snack in the city or have a taste of that spicy food you love or even have no access to light and clean water for a long period of time.
Finally, a year is over and her days in a rural area are brought to an end when she receives her certificate and leaves for her home back in the city. She will sure miss the moments spent there with the fun loving people and the care they had rendered onto her fellow corps members and her.
She returns back home, done with school, served her country for a whole year, and now officially an adult and jobless. The job search begins and she had gone for over five job interviews and hasn’t been called in for a job yet, she is still hoping though.
Now the current situations reveal to her that being a Nigerian goes beyond just being born by Nigerian parents, it incorporates being able to adjust to the nature of your country and the level of unemployment of the majority of Nigerian youths like her. To top it all, her parents get to remind her often that she is of marriageable age. It suddenly gives her the feeling that they are in a haste for a husband to just come around. Anyways, she has decided to be an entrepreneur instead of waiting till when her certificate will become useful.
She always had the belief that a Nigerian girl achieves whatever she sets her mind on achieving, provided she’s serious with achieving it, be it in terms of choosing a career or choosing a life partner.
Thank you @Telesfor for the tips.

There are days she doesn’t have enough money to take care of her needs and perhaps her parents don’t have money to give her at that moment. The hard-working ones will look for opportunities to earn money on campus. University girls engage in various gigs, trades, and services to earn money for self upkeep; selling products both on-campus and online, part-time job, creating a room for her talent in any form of trade be it in tailoring, hairdressing, makeup, room services, and weekend gigs like an usher in events. The lazy ones will make friends with the rich kids on campus and literally live off them, and some will become a “runs girl” sleeping with rich men, having sugar daddies that will take care of their daily expenses.
Days at university are also usually awkward when she finds it really hard to make friends, and mix in with the crowd. First days at school are usually the worst because it feels like she just doesn't belong there and everyone just gives her that same awkward feeling till she settles in and starts mixing in with a few people and have enough courage to boost your confidence. Days at university are never complete without those special occasions like the matriculation day, when she officially becomes a student of that institution, the faculty and departmental orientation events to welcome all new students to the faculty or department, and the final year which is the most stressful. The projects – carrying out researches and experiments, running after her supervisor for directives and supervision of her progress, as well as working hard to maintain a good grade.
The best day of them all is the day of her convocation, her years at university has finally been drawn to a good end, she has made her years a blissful one. And there she is remembering what the few years have been like; like her eighteenth-year-old birthday, when dad gave her a very lovely gift and her close friends didn’t hesitate in throwing her a birthday party, in fact on preparation for that day, she had a free lunch from a close friend and an all sponsored photoshoot (Nigerian girls like to take photoshoot to post on social media on the birthday).
There are days she is sick, and her mates and friends don’t ever lose the opportunity of coming to check up on her and as well send her goodwill wishes and gifts. The days she fails to wake up and end up running late for a lecture. The awkward days when she nurtures feeling for a guy who is already in a relationship or with her friend’s boyfriend, and she can’t help it.
The day she finally gets to meet her mister right who happens to be in a different department. Days she will be lured into going to a party and she is forced to take for the first time and she ends up getting drunk. The days when everything she thought was working out, suddenly crumbles before her very own eyes, days you just keep on having bad moments “bad days”.
There she is now, officially graduated from the university.
From the start, I had said, living in Nigeria is more about adaptation to your environment and resistance to bad influence, accepting all good values and living life in the order of their stages. Mum and dad had always said good morals should be the principle every woman stands by. The girls life started from the first day she became a zygote in her mother’s womb, went on to her first breath of fresh air, the Nigerian air, till the first lessons her parents had taught her, the first time she had her first social interaction with people at school, the first time she got scolded and in fact flogged by her parents, her days at secondary school, her first argument with her parents especially her mom, the first guy she dated, her first kiss, university days, partying days, her first drunken experience, here she is now finally a university graduate. Looking towards the next stage, getting prepared for a whole new world of experiences.
Bitcoin Cash Treasure Hunt: Test Round
A week ago, I announced a little interesting competition I called “Bitcoin Cash Treasure Hunt” with the hashtag #BCHTreasureHunt. The idea is to create a BCH wallet on Bitcoin.com wallet and hide some amount of BCH in the wallet. I will post clues to the 12-word recovery phrase on noise.cash and each of the 12 recovery words will be hidden in a post on read.cash. It can be any user's post, but most of mine and that of #BCHTreasureHunt sponsors and supporters (you can make some donation to the #BCHTreasureHunt fund chest for a chance to get your posts used for our hidden words).
Read more about BCHtTreasureHunt here. https://read.cash/@Alpher/bitcoin-cash-treasure-hunt-ec9169da
The competition was stated that commence on March 1, and we are a few days away. But before that, I want to run a test, to give the community a glimpse of what they should expect from the #BCHTreasureHunt.
**#BCHTreasureHunt Test Round**
As aforementioned, this is a round to test how the competition will proceed. The outcome of this will give us a glimpse of how it works and how successful the competition will be when kicked off. When the introductory post was published last week, some users showed interest and we got about three major donations.
**Donations**
@Macronald donated $1
@PVMihalache donated $1
@Tired_momma donated $1
I donated $2 to make it a total of $5 in our reward chest.
I could have donated more but I have not received any tip from the bot since 6 days ago. It’s been discouraging, and I have thought of quitting but here I am to keep on writing. Hopefully, I will be remembered by the bot someday.
**Interested Users**
About 1o users indicated their interest to participate in the competition. That’s not a bad start and I see more users joining us when we start recording success. Here is the list of users that showed interest:

#BCHTreasureHunt Test Round (Mechanics)
This test round will have little change – The original plan is to publish one word per day which will take 12 days and 12 articles. But since we have just 2 days to March 1, which is the kickoff date, This test will run for just 24 to 30 hours. Here is how it will work:
The clues to finding each word of the 12 recovery words will be posted on noise.cash. So I recommend you follow me on noise.cash for updates. https://noise.cash/u/Alpher
The clues will be posted at random times of the day with at least one hour of space between. I recommend you enable the notification bell, to get notified when the clue is posted.
With the aid of the clue, you will visit the post where the word has been hidden to search and find the word.
The words will be given in chronological order. The first clue will be for the first word, the second clue for the second word, and so on. But there may be a twist after the last word. So be watchful for that little twist.
When you visit the post with the hidden word, try to like the post and possibly leave a content related comment, just to encourage the author we used his/her post for the word.
When you find each word, keep it safe, you can write them down as they come.
The first user to find all 12 words and successfully restores the wallet and sweep the fund wins. The BCH is in a Bitcoin.com wallet. So do well to install one.
Mention other users in the comment section to invite them to join in the competition. The more the merrier.
**The #BCHTreasureHunt Reward Chest (Fund)**
The fund for the competition will come from my earnings and the donation of other users on this post. If you can’t afford to donate your earnings, you can always generously donate your Freetips on noise.cash clue posts. It will help increase the competition prize and make it even more competitive. I cannot do this without your help. So donate generously to the #BCHTreasureHunt fund on read.cash and noise.cash. Nothing is too small and nothing is too big.
**#BCHTreasureHunt – The more the Merrier**
I want this competition to be a big thing on read.cash and even beyond. Collectively we can make it a success. We may be starting small with a prize pool of $5, we can improve a lot on this with time. And your donations will help a lot. Imagine having a prize pool of $50 to $100 or even more? It will become even more competitive. This can work.
Let’s say we have 20 active participants, and each user tips at least $1 dollars weekly on the #BCHTreasureHunt post on read.cash, we will have $20 a week and $40 in two weeks (half of the month for one round). Then we tip at least $0.1 daily from our freetips on #BCHTreasureHunt post on Noise.cash. In a day, 20 users tipping $0.1 will contribute a total of $2 ($0.1 x 20). In a week, we’ll get $14. And in 2 weeks we’ll have $28.
If you add $28 from noise.cash in 2 weeks to $40 from read.cash it will give a total of $68. What if we tip a higher quantum? Or we have more than 20 active participants? We’ll have enough money in the Fund's chest to add more sub-competition and consolation prizes to make it more competitive and worth your time.
An individual may decide to make a huge donation of $5, $10, $100, $1000, $10,000 or even more.
I want to add more activities to the competition like social bounty, where we promote Bitcoin cash on various social media and earn BCH for doing that, and also Engagement reward, where little tasks are given to participants and those who successfully complete the task will be rewarded with BCH. The task will all revolve around promoting BCH in our various communities.
All this won’t be possible without your support.
Let me not bore you with so many words. We currently have $5 in the fund. So the prize pool for this Test round is $5.
**Let the Hunt Begin!**
The first word is hidden in this article. The clue to finding it will be posted on noise.cash. Stay tuned!
You can visit here to read more about the Bitcoin Cash Treasure Hunt, how it works and how to participate. You can mention other users, inviting to join us. Your tips and donations are important. https://read.cash/@Alpher/bitcoin-cash-treasure-hunt-ec9169da

The Nigerian Girl 4
Secondary school comes with a whole package of fun and before she knows it, six years is gradually coming to an end with the upcoming Senior Secondary Certificate Examination. A time when all her efforts, hard work, sleepless nights will have to come to play. A time when all the classes she has attended and all the books she has read will play a major role in her performance in the exam hall. It is the examination that practically crowns your efforts of six years with autonomous success. Memories go down to her loving teachers, the ones she can never forget. The ones that even disliked her for reasons she doesn’t know. The ones that left scars in her heart, the ones that placed irreplaceable smiles on her face and the ones that are that contributed a lot to her academic and moral growth while at school.
The exams are here – about three examinations (JAMB, WAEC, and NECO) within 4 months. She has to be serious and at the same time create the last few memories with all her mates and friends including the ones that had been there for a long time and the ones who just made a way into her heart within the last few months. Within the blink of an eye, she is done with her examinations and is already on her graduation gown and dancing all the latest dance steps on the day of her valedictory service. That day marks one of her happiest days on earth and her parents very happy to see their baby complete another phase in her life and about to move to a higher level. She's leaving secondary school and going onto university, where a challenging phase of her life begins.
After her exams and valedictory service, she is back home waiting for when she will be offered admission by the university she has applied to during her JAMB registration. During the waiting period, she gets busy doing all the things she loves, engaging in activities she fancies, maturing and becoming the “big girl” she has been looking forward to and also a worry to her parents; always cautious where she goes, some parents even prevent them from going out, to save them from the prying eyes of men, who are ready to devour her at the slightest opportunity. At this time, with no worries, her life revolves majorly around the having circles of friends, social media life, having celebrity crush and real-life crush, hoping for admission into her preferred school and more.
Now she is getting more mature and getting the attention of the males. A lot of disturbance from guys and she may finally want to settle with one to reduce the attention from others. Many boys would have gotten her phone contact, directly from her or indirectly from her close friends or even young siblings. Surely the calls will be coming in and she will only receive them when alone, so mom will not find out. The day mom finds out and hears her receiving calls from a boy; she gets the big question,
“Who is this guy?”
"He's a friend mom" is likely the first thing that comes to her mind.
Mom agrees to disagree until the day she walks into her room at midnight and meets her on the phone with the same friend. Trust Nigerian mums,
"You this girl, who did is this boy to you, that he is keeping you awake till this time of the night, what are you guys even talking about? If you don't start talking your father would hear about how you have been going around hanging out with all kinds of guys."
Most dads scare the shit out of the children. So sometimes, Nigerian moms play the “Dad will hear this” card to get the children talking. She is somewhat right but some moms are impatient to calm down and listen to their daughters and go about things the wrong way. She will talk for hours, giving the usual lecture, all that just keeps on ringing on her mind is
"If only mum could understand, I’m not exactly doing anything wrong, I really wanted to tell her when he asked me out but I couldn't, I just couldn't and now she keeps on lecturing me, doesn’t she believe in the training she gave?" But, moms know what scares them, when they have a grown-up beautiful girl in her prime.
Next, she receives the admission letter from her dream university and things are turning into a big reality – she is going to the university. All that will fill her thoughts at that moment is figuring how life in the university would be like.
Another stage of life begins; her first day in the university, going through the screening processes and finally being in a lecture room. A new form of learning, environment, much larger than she is used to. And this time around she has more freedom than she ever had, no parents or teachers to guide her, she is open to a whole new world of new people, a new form of learning, new experiences, and in fact new influences. A life in university is a bit stressful, having to deal with lectures after lectures, reading handouts, carrying out researches, trying to make her stay more comfortable, making the choice of who's going to be your friend and who isn’t, trying to stay true to her roots and away from bad influence no matter how enticing such a life can be. Dealing with roommates is a whole new form of stress especially when not all of them are as serious about learning as much as she would like.
Some of the things a typical Nigeria girl might have to deal within a university campus, with a roommate(s) are; dealing with a sluggard, they just are so annoying because they are usually lazy with virtually everything and find the fastest possible means to be idle, then the roommate that bring in people without letting her know before time, these sort of things are usually the most annoying because not everyone is meant to be allowed in most especially those fussy, ill-mannered and malevolent looking kind of people, they just really get her nerves out, roommates who keep on going through her things as they belong to them as well, roommates whose only job is to go partying all night, going out, and coming back home drunk and wasted, roommates that are fond of pushing her to do things she doesn't really want to do.
To be continued…
The Nigerian Girl 3
This is the third part of the tale of a typical Nigerian girl, from the day she was born to her adulthood when she gets married and has her own kids.
You can check out the previous parts:
The Nigerian Girl 1 https://read.cash/@Alpher/the-nigerian-girl-8fedb041
The Nigerian Girl 2 https://read.cash/@Alpher/the-nigerian-girl-2-916e19e9
Senior secondary school is practically where the main fun of secondary school comes in. The bad days started with the first time she sees her period down to the day she gets stained, days like that I can say are the worst. Days she gets a chance to bully a junior, just to have a taste of what it felt like for the seniors who bullied her when she was in a junior class. If she is able to pass through days like that then secondary school is no doubt a journey of blissful, annoying, and unforgettable memories.
The days come when she gets the attention of the boys. She gets to be admired by a boy and eventually gets asked out, let’s have a look at different scenarios and reaction;
If she doesnt like the boy or he did not meet her preference in boys, the first body language is like "Please what is this boy doing here now, didn’t he check out who he is about talking to before even making an attempt to say a word out" and when he's finally like "girl, you look really beautiful I must say and I have been eyeing you from a distance, today I decided I must finally come close to admire this beauty and ask her to be my babe".
The first reaction of the typical Naija girl who doesn’t like the boy "hope it is not me you just finish saying that nonsense to? See if you know what's best for you just walk out without stress before I disgrace you here". For girls that have the fire inside them, they won't even waste their time responding, it’s either they walk out or they gather the attention of the whole class there with the insult that would leave their mouth, leaving that guy asking himself why he ever approached her. For the calmest girls they just say "sorry I'm not interested".
But if she likes the boy, before he even approaches her, she is already on “cloud nine”, before he says a word about asking her out she has already accepted him and even before the day he asked her out, she was already sending body languages to him and always doing "notice me" for the hottest looking guy in class.
And the moment she realizes she has been used by this guy, who just suddenly feels like breaking up, she’ll just be up and down about hating boys, most times depending on the kind of school she attended, she wouldn’t even have enough courage to speak up. And that is a secondary school for her, although there are days she just feels free and be as happy as a bird because of the friends she has in school. Bad days at school are times when she has an issue with someone and they just can't seize a moment without talking about her, it gets really annoying and sometimes just gets into a fight that leaves the whole school in disarray. And when the time comes for her to serve the punishment of the actions that was caused by someone else it’s just unbearable.
Did I forget to make mention of the days when she has to leave school without permission? Those days are one of the best days because she gets to have all the fun she wants to have, eat all the food she wants to eat, and make sure she is back in school just in time before any one of the students or staff gets to find out. There are days she doesn't have a choice other than being rude to that hostile hostel mistress that just can't stop crossing her paths and stepping on her toes. There are days at school she just can't ever escape the almighty "truth and dare" a game no secondary school can do without playing. This game makes her do things she just doesn't want to do and wouldn't even dream of ever doing. It places her in tight spots and leaves her sometimes happy and other times heartbroken, she can't ever tell. The worst moment could be when that guy who has been her all-year crush is finally told to kiss her and he prefers to serve the punishment for not doing that dare or when she is told to confess her love to a guy in class in the presence of everyone. Things could also be interesting when she gets to hear the latest gossip in class or the biggest truths she could have never imagined. Things could also backslide when she has to be honest about something she just can't let anyone know. Truth and dare are really fun, it creates a lot of cherished memories.
And when she is back from school at the end of the term, she gets to hang out with friends from the neighborhood, attend summer lessons and create a new set of memories outside school. For a Nigerian girl that hates staying put indoors, she ventures into lots of things including hanging out with friends, journeying the whole town on foot, and a lot of other crazy things teenagers just love doing. Others prefer to use the short period of time to learn a trade or skill such as hairdressing, tailoring, and other trades that might interest them.
7 Things I'm not Going to do in 2021
At the start of every year, it has become a tradition for people to make New Year resolutions and set dozens of goals on things they wish to achieve before the year runs down and even go-ahead to draft out plans or strategies they will have to stick to in order to achieve the set goals for the year. But in our constantly evolving world, we won’t always achieve our goals. Nature may get in the way at some point in your path to achieving your goals, life is unpredictable. You can, however, stop some behaviors or lifestyles that are unproductive. So sometimes instead of trying so hard to figure out what you should be doing in 2021, ask yourself:
**What am I not going to do?**
I believe that while we are drafting our to-do list we should also have a not-to-do list. Here you simply identify your negative lifestyle or behavior pattern, list them, and then you don’t do them.
*What you don’t do determines what you do*
**Here are the 7 things on my not-to-do list:**
**1. Wasting Time**
I try as much as possible to occupy myself with one activity or another. I realized that some days I spent a lot of time on social media and on YouTube watching videos. But now I have diverted most of those social media time to publish articles, reading and commenting on read.cash and I earn money in BCH for that. Time is really money. Also, I have to learn to accept the truth and stop wasting time on the wrong people.
**2. Expecting huge capital**
In 2020, I had plans of establishing a business for mom, so she can assist and lift some financial burden from me. I had plans to work twice as hard and save up enough money. Truly I saved some money though far from the target, it could have at least gotten a shop and bought a few goods to get her started. Along the year, an unforeseen problem came up and the money had to be used to take care of it. I wish I had started with the little I got and then keep adding gradually, we could have come a long way now. I won’t make the same mistake this year. I have to start pursuing my set goals with whatever little I have.
**3. Comparing myself with others**
Sometimes when I find myself amidst my peers in an event or gathering, I seem to have a bit of low self-esteem. This is not because I feel/think that I’m not good enough, but just because I’m comparing myself with them – “we graduated within the same period, here they are doing so well. Look at the luxurious life they live” I do often think. I have decided to stop comparing myself with others, appreciate myself more, and work on being a better me.
**4. Making Excuses**
*Ninety-nine percent of the failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses*.
Want to make excuses? You will find a million of them. If you have been reading my post, you would have an idea of my life situation. How dad’s death made me grow faster and took up the responsibility of providing for the family, the family debt I inherited, how I have been searching for jobs. There was a time I had excuses on why my life hasn’t been any better, and the more excuses I make, the more I have and it added no value or made my life any better. I had to stop making excuses and carry whatever life has dealt me in good faith while working hard to have a better life.
**5. Thinking negative of myself**
After years of search for a job, I could help but think that perhaps
“I’m not good enough to be employed”
“I’m a loser”
“I never do anything right”
On second thought, most of these ain’t right. I’m not a loser – I work round the clock to provide for my family, though our standard of living could do with some improvements, the family gets to eat well, have shelter, clothing, and my siblings are in school – they are happy, that’s enough at the moment. Negative thoughts about self are toxic and it weighs me down. I have to replace these negative thoughts with something good and focus on the positive.
**6. Expecting people to treat me well**
The first few years after dad’s death, I put a lot of expectations on people, especially relatives, to be kind to my family and me. But that never happened, some even tried to take away the little we had. Along the years I have also relied on some people to put in good words for me during a job search but I always get empty promises. Tribalism, favoritism, nepotism, and all forms of sentimentality, make getting a job difficult for those who have no connections to people in the high positions in the country. We have those who have someone sitting in a high position getting the job than a more qualified person who knows no one. I’m not trying to make excuses, but it has become a common practice in the country – If you don’t have someone to pull you in, you try to bribe your win in, if not, you have to keep trying with the hope you do get the job and this might take years or never. I have tried to meet relatives and family friends to at least put in good word for me and they will always make promises probably just to send me away. I have long decided to not leave myself at anyone’s mercy.
Trying to solve every family problem myself
**7. Overthinking**
I tend o get caught up in overthinking, worrying about life in general. I play out scenarios in my head before they happen, I think of how life would have been a lot better if dad was still alive, I overthink situations, and sometimes I can’t stop thinking about how my family’s life could have been better if I had done things differently. To be honest, overthinking takes away my happiness. Now I try to get busy to keep my mind busy. And it’s working, that doesn’t mean I don’t get to worry, but I don’t waste too much time on it or overdo it.
I have more on my list, but I will keep this list short not to end up boring you. These are at the top of my not-to-do list. And I have not done any of them since the first day of the year. I plan to keep to the list, though the impact may not be so great, it will make me feel a lot better about myself.
Do you have a not-to-do list? Feel free to share yours in the comments section below.

Bitcoin Cash Treasure Hunt
*12 days, 12 articles, 12 words, 12 clues, 1 wallet, and some dollars in BCH up for grabs!*
Find all 12 recovery words and win!
How about a little fun, competitive reading and searching for clues to recovery words? And what if these could earn you a share of a certain amount of BCH?
**HOW IT WORKS**
The #BCHTreasureHunt is a read.cash and noise.cash based competition in which users attempt to be the first to find the 12 words *(the recovery phrase to a bitcoin.com wallet holding a certain amount of BCH)* hidden in articles on read.cash using clues that will be posted on noise.cash. The first user to collect **all 12 recovery words**, restore the wallet and transfer the fund (BCH) within wins the round's treasure!
In every round I will create a wallet and send some amount in BCH; $5, $10, $20, $50 or even more depending on how much we were able to raise for the round. Over 12 days - days 1 - 12 and days 16 - 27 of each month - I will post the clues to the 12 words (one word per day). One recovery word will be hidden in a post on read.cash daily, with its clue posted on noise.cash and some, might be easier to find than the others.
The 12-word recovery phrase is to a Bitcoin.com wallet holding the BCH treasure. To restore the wallet, you need to enter the 12 recovery words correctly in the right sequence. I recommend you learn how to restore a Bitcoin.com wallet. Once you've restored the wallet, you will gain access to the fund hidden in the wallet. https://read.cash/@Alpher/restoring-bitcoincom-wallet-c3236cdb#comment-7ad1e567
Additionally, participants can also win a share of the daily pr!ze for the 12 days of the hunt. The first five active users to get the correct recovery word of the day will get a share of the daily prize - 20% each. Participants will be required to enter the word of the day to a Google form to qualify.

Restoring Bitcoin.com Wallet
I opened the Bitcoin.com Wallet two weeks ago when I joined read.cash to have a store for my Bitcoin cash earnings. Before that, I read about the importance of the 12-word recovery phrase (*Your recovery phrase is the key to access your wallet in the event you ever lose or break your device*) and I immediately wrote them the phrase on my diary and a jotter which I kept hidden in my room. The Bitcoin.com wallet also gave me the option of backing up my wallet to the cloud (Cloud backup) and I did. With these, I can regain access to my BCH asset in case I ever lose my device.
Earlier today, my phone crashed and I could access it. I took it for repair and the guy flashed the phone without backing up any of my files. When I regained access to my phone, all installed apps, documents, and media were gone, I had to start afresh. The phone came with Chrome. So the first thing I did was to update the chrome app and download and install the Bitcoin.com wallet app. Then, I launched the app and restored my old wallet holding my BCH earning using the 12-word recovery phrase I wrote down in my diary.
**Restoring Bitcoin.com Wallet**
You can restore your BCH wallet on the Bitcoin.com wallet app via **recovery phrase** and **cloud backup**.
**How to Restore Bitcoin.com wallet using 12-word recovery Phrase**
After installing the Bitcoin.com wallet app, launch it “+ Add” to the right of the wallet app home screen.
On the “ADD WALLET” pop-up, tap on “IMPORT WALLET”
Now select the wallet **type** (**Bitcoin cash**) and **enter your 12-word recovery phrase.**
Once you have entered all the 12 words correctly, tap “IMPORT WALLET”
If you followed the above steps correctly your BCH wallet will now be restored and the fund should appear on the wallet's Home screen. *If you have other sub-wallets, you’ll have to repeat the above steps to restore each using their individual recovery phrase.*
**How to Restore Bitcoin.com wallet using Cloud Backup**
All you need to do is log into the Google account and input the password you used when you set up your cloud back-up. This is the simplest method available.
You will be prompted to sign in to your Google account once you open the app, or alternatively, you can tap the "Settings" cog in the bottom right corner of your "Home" screen and hit "Security center"
**Backing up my Wallet**
Creating a secure backup for my wallet was an important step I took when I first created my wallet on the bitcoin.com wallet. With it, I was able to regain access to my BCH sub-wallets and the funds in them. As long I have written down my 12-word recovery phrase, I will always be able to recover my wallet and the assets I stored in it whenever I lost my device or lost the information on my device and it’s the case. So if you have not yet securely written down your wallet’s 12-word recovery phrase or you can’t recall where you wrote it initially, I recommend you do so now while you still have access.
**How to find your 12-word recovery phrase on Bitcoin.com wallet app**
Launch your Bitcoin.com wall app from your device.
Select the wallet you wish to see the recovery phrase.
Tap on the three dots symbol (settings option) at the top right corner.
Scroll down to tap on “show my recovery phrase”
Now write down the 12 words sequentially from the first to the twelfth word.
**Important things to note**
Securely store the piece of paper on which you have written your recovery phrase someplace safe. Treat it as a valuable document.
The recovery phrase can be used to access your wallet and the fund within; its safety is in your hands. Never share with anyone.
Securely writing down your Bitcoin.com wallet 12-word recovery phrase you will always be able to restore your device when needed.
If you lost your device and you do not have the recovery phrase, you will lose wallet and the assets in it.
When entering your phrase, all words must be lowercase with a space separating them, no punctuation.
If your phone is stolen, the individual may gain access to your wallet even after you have restored the wallet to a new device. So it would be good to move your fund to a new sub-wallet.
*Please note that if you create any new sub-wallets within your Bitcoin.com wallet application, you will have to back these up separately.*
It’s Time to Hodl some BCH
A few days into my time on the platform I rushed into making an unplanned goal – holding not less than $1000 in my Bitcoin.com wallet. Reality has set in and I’ve realized that was one of my amateur hours. I was influenced by the earnings on many posts and also by the goals made by other users on the platform. With time I realized earning is random – users earning differently and they have been on the platform longer than me.
**The Goal**
**My initial goal** when I joined the platform was to have up to $1000 before 2022. I didn’t have plans on how to achieve that, I didn’t even calculate if my current earning will get me close to the value. I also failed to put into consideration the fact that the earning on the platform is not consistent and I will not be able to hodl all that I will earn from the site. For instance, I withdrew all my earnings from joining the platform to fiat to Saturday to have enough money to buy Valentine’s Day gifts for my parents and also to distribute some presents to the “Almajiris” in my community. Now I have started from $0.00 and we are already in the second month of the year. Thus, there is a need to adjust the initial goal to something feasible.
**My New goal** is to hodl up to 1BCH before the end of 2021. Although Bitcoin cash will likely cross that value and attain even higher value before 2022. What’s then the difference between the old and new goal since BCH will go over $1000 this year? To be honest, I can’t explain why this looks better to me than the initial goal. Perhaps I’m concentrating more on the recent value of BCH instead of the potential rise in some months. I have always had the #Club1BCH in mind since joining. Most of my first few reads on joining the platform were about the #Club1BCH. The desire to join the club probably influenced my decision to change the goal from $1000 to 1 BCH.
The Plan
**Earn more.** I have done the calculation with my current earning. If I keep earning at the current rate, I don’t see myself achieving my goal, I may have to wait till next year to become a member of the club. The plan now is to increase the source of BCH earnings. Another platform I earn BCH aside read.cash is noise.cash. But I have not been able to earn up to $1 from noise.cash. And it’s understandable; I have not been as active as I should be on the platform if I want to earn more. So I will try to improve my active time on noise.cash and see what happens in the next few days. I will also look for more opportunities to earn BCH online. Suggest if you know any.
**Save more.** To be honest, I can’t hodl all I earn from the platform. I’m unemployed and have a lot of financial responsibilities. The plan is to save more of what I earn. So I will be hodling at least 60% of my earning. I currently have three BCH wallet accounts on my bitcoin.com wallet. One is dedicated to my earnings from noise.cash, the second is for my earnings from read.cash, and the third I named “Hodl” is for holding at least 60% of my earnings. And I’ll endeavor not to withdraw from the “Hodl Wallet” unless I have to as a last resort in dire situations. I hope such a moment will not arise.
Just like the previous goal, achieving this will not come any easy. I have to work very hard and put in more effort as well as diversify my earning. Buying BCH to add to my asset may not be possible yet. I will learn to trade with my earnings (from the 40% left after saving 60% in the “Hoding Wallet”). I have heard of spot trading on Binance and trading on Detoken but I haven’t put in much interest. I will learn about trading on these platforms and try them out whenever I’m ready.
At the moment, I will focus on maintaining consistency on read.cash and improving my active time on noise.cash to increase my earning from the platform.
Finally, I will keep learning and exploring the Bitcoin Cash community as well as promoting Bitcoin Cash adoption in my community and the country at large.
God Bless the Bitcoin Cash Community.
Still Deep in the Love
***And just like that, another Valentine’s Day has passed but my heart is still bursting with love.***
Valentine’s Day was here and it’s gone. Wow! Time really does fly by, one minute you're anxiously awaiting a special day as this, making plans and preparations and buying presents to be given to loved ones, and then the next minute, that’s all gone, the day is gone.
We had a good Valentine’s Day I got to spend most of the day at home with my family. We don't like going out on such days as this and getting in the middle of the crowds, the drinking, and the craziness out there. We usually prefer the comfort of our home and the sweetness of mom’s meals. Mom spent a lot of time in the kitchen preparing the meals for the day, and all I did was slaughter the chickens and my siblings prepared them and assisted mom in the kitchen. I engaged myself with writing an article during the waiting period.
**The beginning**. The day started with getting out of bed early in the morning to prepare for Sunday Mass (we are catholic). We spent about two hours at church and although, the mass readings had nothing to do with Valentine’s Day or love the priest in his sermon made reference to the feast of the day. He encouraged us all to spread the love to everyone around us, friends and foes. When we returned home after the mass, we went straight to preparing for the day.
**The meal**. After returning home from Sunday Mass, we had breakfast and everyone proceeded to his/her own charge of the day. I already caught the chickens the previous night and locked them up in a small cake for quick access when it’s time. I slaughtered them and gave them to my siblings for dressing. I didn’t know how the rest of the meal preparation proceeded. All I knew is that after a few hours I was called to join the family at the dining table. Rice, stew, chicken, salad, and wine were served. Mum already packaged someone which has already been distributed to our close neighbors… sharing is loving.
We had the meal to our fill, and we chatted and exchanges happy tales as usual. There was a lot to eat and lots of laughter and smiles on the faces of the members of my family. I couldn’t wait to surprise them with my present for the family.
**The Present**. In one of my previous articles, “Valentine’s Day Gift with Bitcoin Cash” I talked about presenting a new Television set as a gift to the entire family. After receiving payment for the gig I mentioned in the post, I added it to the money I have saving. In total (with my BCH earnings from read.cash) I had enough money to buy the TV, a movie collection, and to subscribe to GOtv service. I paid in cash and BCH (Yes, he accepted my BCH). I took all the purchases discreetly to my room and hid them where no one will see them. And no one did. Immediately after the meal, I brought it out of my room and opened it before all. Wow! The excitement… My youngest sibling was just shouting and jumping all over the room. His euphoric display was understandable as it’s been months since we had a TV in the house, and now he doesn’t have to go elsewhere to watch his favorite cartoon (he had to go to the neighbors to watch TV and has probably been mocked by his peers)
A concerned neighbor walked towards the opened window and asked:
“*Weytin dey hapin, hope all is well?”*
Mom: “*Yes ooo… the children are just excited*”
That moment of excitement and happiness gave me a sense of worthiness and satisfaction I have not had in quite a while. Like I often say, their happiness is my priority. I’m happy when they are happy.
I fixed the TV on the wall and connected it to the other devices. We started with music, and we all danced for several minutes. Then we moved over to the movie collection and finally settled for GOTv channels. The family had hours of a movie marathon.
I had to leave them at a point after I got a call from a close friend to come to join them at a bar. I joined them after some minutes, we had some bottles of beer, played pool, and had some chitchats. I retired home to join my family when it was getting late.
**Extending the Love**. Love is not just shared among families; we can spread it out to others, close and far. Aside from the food mom send to our close neighbors. I used the money left after the purchase of the gifts for my family to buy loaves of bread and Titus™ Sardine (canned fish). While the family was busy preparing the meal, I took a few minutes to go out and I distributed the bread and Sardines to some “Almajiris” (young children that beg on the street), though not much and I couldn’t multiply them as Jesus did, they appreciated it all the same. Wished I could do more, but…
That’s how I spent Valentine’s Day of 2021. And while I write this article, I recall the happy moments from yesterday. I family could not be more happy. The blessing and love I got from my family is still bursting in my heart.
**Valentine’s Day has come and gone. Now what?**
Valentine's day is all about showing and spreading love. And I believe we showed love to our loved ones and also spread the love to others. Now the day is gone, what next? Does it indicate the end of love sharing? No. We don’t have to wait for another February 14 to show our family and friends that we love them.
Let’s keep spreading the love all year round.
**How did you spend Valentine’s Day? Did you spend the day with friends and family or did fly solo?**

The Nigerian Girl 2
The Nigerian Girl 1 https://read.cash/@Alpher/the-nigerian-girl-8fedb041
The second stage of life begins; she is going over to the primary school. The Nursery graduation was a blast, in fact, mum had taken a whole lot of pictures of that day. Primary school begins with her not being able to grasp what her teacher had taught and then receiving five strokes of the cane for it. It also goes on with her making new friends and meeting people she may or may not like. Such is life. She gets home, takes her shower, and have lunch, next thing on her mind will be to play around the house or have some friends over to play with her. Time goes on with the days she performs terribly at school exams and her mom is really devastated and disappointed. The next thing that a typical Nigerian parent says is
"*I sent you to school to be the best and not argue for the last position in your class, I paid your fees not for you to bring back bad results I expected nothing more than the best from you. Do you know when I was your age I always took the best position in class? In fact, I never fought for the first position with anyone*"
and at that point, she begins to wonder
"*if all parents took the first position while still in school then who took the last position cos obviously someone had to.*"
And the time she finally makes the decision to put in her best at school and make good results her mom as usual comes up again with that typical Nigeria mother speech
"*you have done very well at school am so proud of you, just like back in the days I was good at school now you take after your father and I but you have not done well enough you still need to do better taking the first position is not a crime, okay!?, Children who are taking the first position in school don't have two heads or multiple brains*"
And then she begins to wonder why all mothers are always like this. Primary school goes on with days she likely get bullied at school, or days she gets too lazy to do her house chores at home or even days her mom doesn't stop shouting;
"*You this child you will not kill me in this house ooo... I didn't kill my parents, don't try my temper in this house.*"
After 6 years in primary school and a lot of memories made, life moves her on to the next stage, secondary school.
Secondary school comes with that "I'm now a big girl feeling". The best moment is the moment she is admitted into her most prized school, that moment really leaves a lot of girls feeling really happy; the thoughts of meeting new people, living in a boarding school, and dealing with its trials, memories, and complications.
The first advice her parents give concerning her idea of going to a boarding school is
"*Make sure you take care of yourself and avoid troubles, mind your books ooo*"
There, of to boarding school, she tries to mix in, make new friends and obviously new enemies and be in reading groups as well as friends gang where she gets to either be a leader or just a follower. In secondary school she also meets people that are often called "***feel amongers***" these set of people are actually the followers of a friend's gang that's if the leader actually fancies you to an extent, if not you just get to be the "***notice me****"* of the class. In school, there are obviously the *brainies*, the dumbest, the fashionistas; even in school uniforms they still try to look better than others and then when there are activities they come out really noticed, well-dressed, enviable in fact this kind of people bring down the self-esteem you have left to show to the crowd. Did I forget to mention the boys who do not have a day complete without getting a girl angry? Boys are actually great friends although, they could get really frustrating in fact most times they enjoy purposely getting on your nerves, just for the fun of it!
During exam periods at school, she doesn't have a choice other than to read out her brains in her books just to attain a perfect position that keeps both her parents proud of and leaves her at a position that attains respect for her in class, a position that makes people envy her in class. Life in boarding school also revolves around breaking school rules; intentionally and unintentionally (rules don't belong to everyone) LOL. There are days at school when she just doesn't want to wake up when the rising bell has been rung or days when she misses classes for reasons she can't even explain, days she gets into a fight with her classmate over something trivial, days she ends up being rude to a Senior student simply because she just can't do what you are told to do. Social nights are usually fun at school but one doesn't really enjoy the fun till she has made it into the senior secondary school successfully, that's after she has passed her promotional examinations.
Unemployed and Happy
***Why won't I be happy? When I don’t have to pay taxes! LOL, just kidding.***
Don’t get the headline twisted; the happy part has nothing to do with my unemployment status. It’s just that I have adapted to my current situation and learned to find joy in the little things of my life amid my job search.
It's been three years since my graduation and I’m not yet employed, perhaps I’m not good enough or not qualified for the several positions I have been applying to. Each time I get rejected, sometimes with the promise of reaching out to me when there is another vacant position but to date, nothing positive has come from my years of job hunting. I haven’t given up, and I won’t wait around till one comes. I have found a way to adapt till when something better comes.
**How can I be happy when unemployed?**
Unfortunately, being unemployed is often associated with feelings of rejection, worry, anxiety, fear, and unworthiness. And after months and years of unemployment, many will feel like they have lost all purpose in life.
I had negative feelings of worry, unworthiness and fear in my first year of job searching without success. I felt rejected and like I have lost all purpose and control in life. For two months, I gave up job hunting and practically stayed indoors most hours of the day, somewhat ashamed to go out, in order not to be mocked by my peers and foes. After a while, my action was hurting my family - mum and siblings became worried. And no income was coming in. I had to wake up from my slumber, make new plans and goals for myself. I continued my job searching - I put in application whenever there is job offering and also engaged myself in some gigs to earn money for family upkeep. I didn't do it alone, I had my mum and a close friend who were advising and encouraging me not to give up.
Now, I'm into several daily gigs that earns enough to provide essential needs for the family. Though we live on less, I can see happiness on the faces of my mum and sibling. Their happiness is mine.
Being positive and productive in unemployment is not as easy as said. I had help - the support and words of encouragement from my family and friends, as well as the desire to provide for my family.
Many unemployed people who are struggling with the status fight hard to stay positive for the people around them, but who fight for the unemployed? Who helps them?
**How Do I stay positive?**
Being unemployed is hard, and the depressing feeling that comes with it doesn’t go away easily. It’s an awful feeling which no one wants. I work hard to stay as positive and motivated as possible during this period of job hunt rejections with the hope that I will land a job successfully or perhaps get some capital to start up a business. Aside from the negative feelings of worry and unworthiness, the mockery from people, the social expectations, and the piling financial problems make it even harder. But I have found ways to adapt and be optimistic of better days to come.
**5 Ways I Stay Positive and Productive**
**Keeping Busy**
*Idle hands make fretful minds*
I tend to think a lot about my situation whenever I am idle. My current goal is to find a job as soon as possible, but I always kept myself busy during this hunting and waiting period, so that doubt and sadness will not creep in. I engaged myself in part-time gigs like tutoring, weekend ushering, farming, and many others that come less often. These keep me busy and help me replace fretful thoughts with positive ones. Aside from keeping me busy and productive, it earns me some money for family and self upkeep while I look for extra sources of income. And now, read.cash has become one of my sources of income.
**Making my family the priority**
Since dads dead, everyone in the family looks up to me as the eldest child. Their happiness comes first in my life, I always try to put up a happy face and be positive when around them, now it has become a part of me. I do it effortlessly. The desire to keep them happy fuels my hard work to earn more.
**Spending Time with Others**
Isolating myself is never an option. I can work for 24 hours daily to keep my mind busy. I’d have free time and I like to spend it with my family and friends. A lot of my friends are employed; I can’t isolate myself in shame and avoid spending time with them. The truth is that these friends have been very supportive in their own little way. Some encourage me while a few others point me to new opportunities and gigs.
**Learning New Skills**
The best investment is self-development. Time is the advantage of unemployed people. I don’t leave mine to waste. When I’m not working a gig or spending time with friends and family, I’m learning a new skill or updating myself with recent developments. Most of my skill learning is online and I take advantage of free resources.
**Picked Hobbies**
Most of my evenings and nights are free, so if I’m not home chatting or playing with my siblings, or away with friends, or learning a course online, I will be away playing chess or pool at a recreational center not far from my home.
These activities also help keep me mentally and physically fit, and ready for future challenges and opportunities.
***Time may be tough, but we are tougher***
To anyone going through unemployment at the moment, staying happy is possible. Keep busy, stay optimistic, and be productive during your job searching and waiting period. Don’t let yourself into depression, it kills. You can be happy! Unemployment is temporary, what counts is how you make the most of the time. I wish you the best of luck in your pursuit of new opportunities.

Valentine's Day Gift with Bitcoin Cash
Valentine’s Day is a few hours away and I can see places getting ready to host couples and lovers who wish to celebrate the day. Going out to celebrate the day is appealing but some of us prefer to celebrate the day indoors with loved ones and family. We can make the day as special to celebrate at home as any place out there. All we have to do is prepare the special meal, add some fun, laughter, music, share special memories with some music and dancing and probably end it with a movie marathon together with family. This is how I envisage my Valentine’s Day celebration at home with family turning out, you could prefer to celebrate outdoors or come up with better ways to make it special at home. Whatever works for you, endeavor to spread the love to those around you.
**About Valentine’s Day**
Valentine’s Day is celebrated every year on February 14, as the day of love. It is celebrated in memory of Saint Valentine. It’s all about spreading the love. And we can show loved ones that we care about them by spending time with them and by giving gifts, sending cards and messages.
Let’s check out the history of Valentine’s Day in the video below
https://youtu.be/dtL2l-LCWxw
For my family and I, it’s a day we spend together at home (after church service), having fun, playing and dancing to music, sharing laughter and happy memories we’ve had, especially of when our late dad was alive. Each member share one of their happiest memories with the family over a special meal. My siblings are still young, so I try to always be there for them on every special occasion. I also get gifts for each of them and they always accept it happily no matter how small.
But this year, I won’t be buying a special gift for each person in the family. I plan to buy one gift for all.
“One stone to kill many birds”
What’s that one gift that all the members of the family would appreciate? It’s a Television set. Shhhh… please don’t tell them yet, I want it to be a surprise.
The television at hoe spoilt some months ago, and I have not been able to get a new one due to financial constraints and my unemployment status, but I have been saving some money to buy a new one as soon as the required amount has been saved. I watch my siblings now and then rush out to our neighbor’s to watch TV and it hurts my feeling that I can’t provide such for them at home.
Now thanks to read.cash and Bitcoin cash, buying a new television will be possible for Valentine’s Day.
I have been able to earn up to $50 since I joined this platform. Though I have given some away to friends I invited to join noise.cash and spent a few dollars on article boost and tipping other users articles and some comments on my post, I still have most of the earning in my wallet. Even with these Bitcoin cash earnings and the little amount I have been able to save, I’m still a few dollars short. But I’m confident I can present the television to my family on February 14, even if it means collecting it for the amount I have to pay the balance later – I have a close friend that sells electronics I can reach an agreement with him. And I believe it will be the best gift of the day. I can’t wait to see my little siblings watch their own TV happily at home.
I will buy the Television set before the end of today, Saturday, and hide it in my room for the surprise tomorrow, February 14, when I will present it to the family. I will also have to buy some home movies and a subscription for the GOtv, a pay-TV service provider in Nigeria, similar to DStv. So we can have multiple channel options to watch. I have a gig today which will earn me some money and I hope to earn some tips on this article, with this I can have enough money to purchase the TV and hopefully buy some movies and subscribe to the GOtv services before the end of the day. Even if I don’t have enough money to purchase all, the TV comes first.
And the good thing is that the seller is a digital asset holder, he has agreed to accept both the cash and Bitcoin cash for payment. I talked to him some time ago about Bitcoin cash and joining read.cash and noise.cash to earn some. But he said that he will not be joining any as has no flair for writing and has no time to go posting on noise.cash. He prefers to buy and hold. But he is yet to buy any Bitcoin cash. So when I asked him to accept my BCH for payment, it didn’t take much convincing for him to agree. This will save me the time of exchanging the BCH to local fiat, Nigerian Naira, in order to make the payment. After getting my pay for today’s gig, I will add it to the money I have saved and go to the guy's shop at the later hours of the day. I send whatever amount of BCH I have in the wallet, and then complete the TV price with cash payment. Whatever is left will determine if I’ll buy a movie collection (DVD disc, as we have a DVD player at home) or a GOtv subscription or both.
So, while we slaughter some chicken from our backyard poultry for mom to prepare a special meal for the day, and the family getting together at the table to happily share the meal and happy stories, I will surprise them with the gift of a new Television, which is made possible - sooner than much later - by my Bitcoin cash earning on read.cash. And we’ll likely end the day with a movie marathon.
Thank you read.cash, Bitcoin cash, and Marc De Mesel for the donations whcih made the earnings possible.
**Not to Forget**
Remember this part from my previous post?
I will likely exchange my earnings to fiat (Nigerian Naira) when it gets to $30. My little sister will be back from school this weekend on mid-term break. and we are expected to make some installment payment of her school fees, else she won't be allowed into the school on resumption. So I will cash in on my earning and use it for the payment.
While spending my earnings on the TV, I still have this in mind. the mid-term break will last almost a week, so I have time to hustle and earn money to pay the required installment percentage for her school fees. I have some gigs next week coupled with my earning on read.cash, I',m confident of making the required amount.
**Over to you…**
Not going out for Valentine’s Day? There is no prohibition here in Nigeria, so people are free to celebrate the way they want. But I can’t say the same for other people from other parts of the globe in these pandemic times, as dinner, theater, and other outdoor events are pretty much off the table. That shouldn’t stop you from celebrating. You can get creative and have fun with family or that special someone. And if you are flying solo, you can treat yourself instead.
No matter how you celebrate Valentine’s Day, try to spread the love however you can.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
**In the spirit of spreading love by gifting, I will be given up to $0.1 in tip to all useful comments on this post. Leave your post related comment and mention some users to do the same.**
Bitcoin Cash is Changing Lives
It's obvious that most users are from developing countries with the recession, high rates of unemployment, poverty, and poor standard of living. Some individuals barely have enough to provide food for the family, then think of providing adequate shelter, good housing, and quality education for the kids in the family. Many live from hand to mouth.
I don't know much about other countries, So I will use my country, Nigeria as a case study.
The current minimum wage for federal workers in Nigeria is ₦30,000 (thirty thousand Nigerian Naira) which is about $78. The initial minimum wage was ₦18,500 ($48) but was increased in 2019 when the President signed the new minimum wage into law amid rising poverty rate and cost of living in the country.
*Nigeria has a government-mandated minimum wage. No worker in Nigeria can be paid less than this mandatory minimum rate of pay.*
*Employers in Nigeria who fail to pay the Minimum Wage may be subject to punishment by the government of Nigeria.*
This new minimum wage of ₦30,000 may have been implemented in the public sector, the same can't be said of the private sector.
Many workers are still paid below the minimum wage in Nigeria and nothing has been done about it. I know a lot of individuals who live on a ₦10,000 monthly salary and some families whose total monthly income is less than ₦30,000. They have a family to feed, rents, bills, and school fees to pay.
According to Statista:
*On average, the* *monthly cost of living* *for an individual in Nigeria amounted to 43.2 thousand Naira, whereas this figure added up to 137.6 thousand Naira for a family.* https://www.statista.com/statistics/1119087/monthly-living-wage-in-nigeria/
But a lot of individuals and families live on amounts way below the figures given above.
I'm unemployed, I have to keep myself engaged with daily and weekend gigs to be able to provide for my family. After taking care of debts, my family and I barely have enough to live on. I appreciate nature for the gifts we have been offered which has been of great help to our survival. https://read.cash/@Alpher/living-on-less-saving-on-feeding-369c5904
Life keeps getting harder every day and the cost of living is increasing by the day, the poor are getting poorer. There have been rise in food prices, no thanks to the closure of the Nigerian borders by the Federal Government preventing the importation of goods into the country; there has been an increment of VAT from an initial value of 5.0% to 7.5%, and there has been increased in fuel size and electricity tariff. These are having a toll on the poor citizens of the country where my I and my family are placed.
While continuing on the job search, I'm in constant search for ways to earn money - online and offline. I tutor students, farm (most of the products are consumed by the family), an usher at weekend events, and other gigs that come occasionally. While doing this, I also make out time to learn a few skills to improve myself and keep myself prepared for job possibilities. But the job search keeps getting more frustrating by the day. Most employees are looking for people with experience.
Job offer interviews: *"Young man, your grades are great and we are impressed by your performance, but we need individuals with X years of experience in this field..."*
*"How am I going to attain experience if I am not given the opportunity to show what I can offer?"* I often thought to myself
There is no giving up, I will keep improving my knowledge and keep searching. I have a lot at stake.
**A Glimpse of how read.cash and Bitcoin cash are improving lives**
I joined read.cash more a week ago, and have been actively exploring the community, publishing articles, and learning more about Bitcoin. The joy I had when I earned my first tip from the random rewarder... And till date I have earned about $20 in Bitcoin cash from both noise.cash and read.cash. I have sent out $3 ($1 each) to three friends, who I'm on-boarding to the Bitcoin cash community. I have also tried the boosting feature on read.cash with $1, and given out tips to other users. So I currently have about $15 in BCH in my bitcoin.com wallet.
Though I rushed into making a $1,000 goal before 2022, probably influenced by the first few articles I read about users BCH goals and the #Club1BCH, I will likely exchange my earnings to fiat (Nigerian Naira) when it gets to $30. My little sister will be back from school this weekend on mid-term break. and we are expected to make some installment payment of her school fees, else she won't be allowed into the school on resumption. So I will cash in on my earning and use it for the payment.
**This is a need met by Bitcoin cash.**
Thanks to Bitcoin cash I won't have to worry a lot about where to get the money for the fees. Thank you read.cash, thank you Bitcoin cash. I'm glad to have joined this community, with no regrets. the only regret would be not joining earlier.
