Your hardest time often leads to the greatest moment of your life you just have to keep the faith in yourself and it will all be worth it in the end. I am writing this article for the person I met on Telegram, encountered on Bitcash Cash Community and I had a chance to listen to his sad story. When I heard about the thing he had in the past, I cannot stop myself but think *"how can I help this person? how capable am I to help?"* I can tell that I have some doubt at first but my heart can't just ignore him. His name is **Vergil V. Viscarra** and he lives in La Union, Philippines. Currently, he doesn't have a permanent job because of the accident five months ago that he was involved in. It was a hit-and-run car accident. According to Vergil, no one helped them at that time and he lost one of his precious legs. *Note: The picture may be sensitive.* While I was talking with him, there is something that really makes me cry, I don't know how it really feels because I had never experienced this but I know for sure, this is hard for them to get through. This may sound absurd to some because I am helping a person that I just met virtually. I think it is already in our nature to help others, some ignored but I want to nurture it because I know to myself that helping others can give smiles to their faces. helping without asking in return, helping others more importantly those who really need it the most. My smartBCH Adventure: Learning while Earning Hey everyone, this is not my usual writing but I want this one to be simple and precise. Like some of my co-authors in here, I also have my smartBCH adventure and it was super fun, to be honest. Where should I start? Well maybe from the beginning where I was just a lost cat in the blockchain. Be a Clever Hunter: BCH Treasure Hunt edition The excitement that I have right now is just so remarkable that I want this event to create so much entertainment and thrill to the users of both platform noise.cash and read.cash. Saengil chukhaeyo, immaryandmerry! 🎈🎉🎊 The most awaited day has come, finally. I was waiting for so long now, and the day of my revenge will happen now (*insert cutie laugh). If you still remember what you did on my birthday when you wrote an article how cute I am but I will make sure to be nice in here🤭💜 For your information, immaryandmerry is my friend, my classmate and my sponsor of everything since 2017. She is known as President of the year, the generous one and a person who can share words of wisdom whenever you need it.🤭 President mary is a top notcher indeed, she loves joining extra-curricular activities even though she's busy reading Wattpad stories, watching Korean dramas and series on Netflix. We became friends because we have the same interests when it comes to reading, writing and watching Korean drama series and of course, Coffee. We can relate to each other when it comes to work and family problems sometimes. She's a very understanding person. I remember when we had a not so biggie misunderstanding that it really hurt my feelings. I don't know if I am just in a fragile moment at that time but I refuse to talk to them because I was hurt. It's actually about my problem to work, study and tested our friendship. Immarymerry messages me that time, I guess it's more than 1000 words of apology letter 😆 I don't remember what she said exactly but all I know is that she is very sincere to say sorry. And I was sad because I got hurt on simple things that I know they didn't intentionally mean it. So I talked to them and say sorry too. Lol maybe we are that immature back then but mary remains in the middle explaining and understanding both sides so our friendship is still alive until now. I have written a lot of topics where I shared how generous she is. Bringing back the memories of when I was so hungry and she gave her extra 2 pesos ($0.04) so that I can buy one piece of Pandesal to stop my stomach and from crying. They are laughing that time even the other customers because I lined up to buy one piece of bread but I was so hungry so I didn't mind their reactions. I even posted a short post on Facebook and sharing how thankful I am for giving me some extra money to buy "Emong Pandesal" that's one of the most memorable moments we had. Mary is also a lifesaver if I didn't manage to submit an assignment she has some extra lol if I didn't manage to eat breakfast, she's willing to share her sandwich, ham, hotdog, rice and even her coffee🤭 she will share a piece of paper, ballpen, and sometimes even her answer😆 Mary has some perks of being a leader but I always want to remind her that some people might abuse her kindness and willingness to help. If someone can explain and understand my situation better, it is her. She knows 80% of the story of my life. When I come to think of it, I am an independent person but I was so dependent on her and I always feels like when I am in trouble, I have mary beside me, I have mary that will help me. Sounds absurd so I started to stop sharing my problem with her. I stopped nagging her and tried to be back as an independent person in everything but having her is indeed wonderful. My 100th Article I've been thinking of what will going to be my 100th Article a while ago and decided to write my unforgettable achievements on this platform. Since today is actually the end of the month, let us recap some events that I think I will be so proud of. We can't go back and need to adjust in today's education system. Pandemic put us into dilemmas when there are moments of giving up, crying on late nights, poor Internet connection, family and financial problems, the barriers and so many reasons why we are missing the the way it is before when you can walk freely not minding those people on your surroundings. We are not ready. We are not prepared and we don't actually know if we can survive this without suffering, without losing our patience without thinking like we are out of our mind. We are so damn tired and burnout but what can we do? If we won't step up and adjust, we will be left behind. We are not that young anymore and we are adult enough to be ready on our future. The judgmental society is watching you and giving too much pressure the reason why you can't focus, the reason why you can't see the right path and there are some moments when you feel so suffocated. Is it tiring? Studying has giving you too much stress in your teens. Too many breakdowns that you always look for your inner peace. And then the adult says, we are so damn tired and exhausted too. Working 8am to 5pm, night shifters and those who are working on their overtime to get an extra pay, doing multiple jobs but still, those are not enough to make a proper living. Living on earth is so damn stressing sometimes, right? But why do you want to survive? What keeps you moving? What and who is your inspiration? They are the reasons. Too many reasons to give up but the reason why you are fighting is enough to keep on going. How about me? I am studying and I am working as well. Life is hard and that is true. Do I have a boring life? Yes I do. Back in the days where I am a first year college, let's continue immaryandmerry story but in my point of view. Like her, Sometimes or most of the time I am always late especially on our 7am class. Like her I have also some chores to do before attending class. But I am walking too far before riding on a jeepney like 20 mins of walking wearing that annoying dress code. Can you imagine our uniforms? Oh wait I'll share it to you guys and gals. The CBAA or the College of Businesses Administration and Accountancy are known as one of the most disciplined Colleges in the University of CLSU. We are the corporate students practices attendance is a must in every seminars, webinars and even special events. The corporate's Dean, Professors and Staffs are also very strict to the rules when it comes to proper discipline of wearing uniforms, IDs, how you greet and treat every people in our college and the most important is the cleanliness of our building and the image we show inside the university. The CBAA is one of the colleges they look upto because you need to be one of the top 400 of examinees and passed the interview to be accepted. As I was saying, I am not one of the top 400 students when I took the exam because the probability is too low for me due to thousands of enrolees that time. But since I want to enter the college I took the last option which is pray for vacant spot and passed the interview and so I succeed :D That's one of the best experience in my college days haha the struggle of my enrollment process. This is our Monday attire and it's required, wear it or guidance office? I remember how I work hard and save money to be able to buy this uniform. It costs me PHP 1000+ back then, I don't know that read.cash exists. I am a sales agent at hardware store for 5 years sustaining my financial needs at school. Buying uniforms using my own money is not new me to me but really, buying expensive ones? I even bought ukay-ukay clothes to save more. Why studying is so expensive? 😅 This is our uniform every Tuesday and Wednesday. In order for me to save, I only bought 2 pcs of blouse and one skirt. I'll wash it every time after class so I can wear it again tomorrow. Wews this one? I think each pair was worth 600-700 pesos? I remember before, my stocking got ripped and it's not allowed in our college, I almost cried and hide whenever there are professor that were passing by. The struggle is real is all I can say. So Thursday is my favorite, this is our college shirt. It gives too much comfort but this polo shirt + lanyard was worth 450 pesos ONLY😆 I can't find a picture of myself wearing PE uniform but it's just simple t-shirt and pants color green, yellow and white haha and cmwas worth PHP 500. There it is, TGIF as what they say so every Friday, I'm always wearing formal attire that I bought on "ukay" :D Actually this is not the first that I'm writing about our university I have two articles that has been published and share my experience. I look in my dream just like the stars above that are shining beautifully but so damn hard to reach. Like hey, I can see it but what should I do to reach it? Should I get my rocket ship? there are so many things in my mind that popped up but the thing is I don't know where to start. We know it’s a rare thing and it makes us feel special, we think it’s either luck, destiny, a sign that something big is going to happen, etc. What could it be? Welcome to Noiseristificationism! This month is full of unexpected things that I mostly forgot what to prioritize and what keeps me falling again and again. Despite being lost in track, I still managed to make something good and learn something especially in the world of different blockchains. FUD and FOMO at its finest **"Say no to FOMO, but consider the effect of FUD"** It's already midnight while typing the first sentence of this article, It's nothing serious to talk about but let's just discuss something about how I succeed and how I failed during crypto's hype. Familiarizing terminologies is a little bit easy now for me compared to what I know before but there are times even you already know that's this is the right time to invest, there are doubts that stopping you to do so and there are times that you don't wanna miss this opportunity so probably you made an impulse decision that can lead to bad or good results. Do you encounter the word **FUD** and **FOMO**? you will see or read these words mostly on traders. **FUD** is simply referred to as **Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt. FUD** can be the reason why the price of the coin is dropping, why? because they do not have that trust or believe that the coin will keep on increasing so they tend to sell their coins asap. FUD can also be found when they got a piece of information (bad news) a bad reputation for the coin. **FOMO - Fear Of Missing Out** on something that others are enjoying. For example, the hype of WAXP, FOMOed me bought at least $10 at the pick price thinking that I can still get a profit but after buying WAXP the value decreases up to now so I kinda regret buying WAXP because of my impulsive decision. Being FOMO might drive you crazy as hell as you focus on how can you gain that profit so probably you might end up buying at a high price and then sell low haha. To avoid more losses on WAXP, I decided to sell it at the same time when I bought it and convert it to BCH again. I already experience the FUD and FOMO, almost every time whenever I am trading and I am still managing on how to set aside my emotion whenever I'm trading. Allow me to share some of the coins that I bought before that I tried to invest in for the short and long-term. This is the screenshot of the original price when I bought ADA and what is the value of it now. I really wanted to buy more but my holdings stopping me to do so, I am a BCH fan and I don't have any kind of trust in other coins the reason why I invest what I think I can afford to lose but seeing the result, I don't know if I am regretting my decisions or not but still profit is profit, isn't? But I will take ADA as for a long-term investment. I really missed the opportunity of buying BCHA before the 400% rise of the price and I was like "oh shoot, why did I hesitate?" where's the risk-taker spirit of mine? did it vanish already? and then I discover the rebranding of eCash XEC maybe I should invest some too and here's the result. I am so happy about doing that. Profit is still a profit, right? This one is on 50/50 for the long term or just for making a profit. Oh well, let's see. Buying $CAKE is literally not a piece of cake, I bought 1 $CAKE at $18 and bought another one at $19 and I stake them at pancakeswap after but I made a mistake putting in on manual instead of auto-compound so after 6 days, I unstake them all and forget about the fees so they are just sitting on my wallet now. My August ended up like this There are possible reasons why the struggles in life can push you to give up and surrender everything and you feel like you are so damn tired, exhausted and demotivated. But despite that, the 50/50 of chances still depends on how well is your mind to control everything in between. The month of August gave me a roller coaster ride. The ups and downs can be seen and some of you witnessed how is my progress made me so far until here. Allow this cutie mushroom to ride with you or you'll leave me behind and still be able to fly without wings. I was able to publish only SIX articles this month, that's something to make me sad about because I thought I will accomplish my 100 articles goal but I was wrong. It's because procrastination is still there. **Let's get rid of what is holding you back** And then I wrote this article hoping that I will be back on track. Oh well, I still did my best. This article made me realize a lot of things and helps me to drive away from the sadness in me. Getting rid of something that is holding you back is really helpful. **I just made an excuse** I actually forgot what this article is all about and didn't manage to re-read haha. You know sometimes, I just write what happened to my life and didn't care about those judgemental people coz who cares? they are not the ones who provide my shelter and food, they are just the audiences of my life. To verify if I can swap Cashcats to BCH, I tried using Swap features on Benswap and swap 100,000 $CATS to 0.02 BCH and it actually worked! So I can literally convert my 1M $CATS and now it is worth 0.3+ BCH Swapping $CATS to BCH vice-versa (Besnswap SmartBCH) Go to https://bchdex.benswap.finance/#/swap Connect metamask wallet (smartBCH network) Go to trade-exchange - swap Set the desired amount you wanted to swap and click the SWAP button. After clicking the swap, you need to approve the contract first and it will cost you $0.03 bch. *take note: you need to edit the gas fee into 1.05 GWEI and click save to make the transaction successful. Once the transaction is approved, just click the swap and wait for another confirmation. In 100k $CATS you need to pay at least $0.11 BCH for the gas fee. Confirm swap and wait for the last confirmation or visit the recent action. As I was saying, I am a cute wonderer in a blockchain, trying to dig deeper, understanding the market so that I can obtain knowledge while earning at the same time. Staking on BenSwap - The first DEX on SmartBCH As I got to know about SmartBCH, spreading the news to every BCH Hodlers and traders will be fun for sure. Remember that you are responsible for your assets, not your family, not your friends or mentors, not your phone or any devices. **Topic:** **Custodial wallet and Non-custodial wallet** **Backup your recovery phrase** **Importance of Wallet Consolidation** **Custodial wallet and Non-custodial wallet** Many of you already know the differences between the two so you can skip this one. I wrote this for beginners to be aware what is the importance of knowing this information more importantly if you wanted to be a crypto holder or you are using these types of wallets for an exchange. Whatever type of wallet you chose you must always be sure to follow the best security for your assets. The ****custodial wallet**** **is a wallet that provides a third party to control your private keys, to be specific, you are trusting another party to secure your funds.** Most custodial wallets is a web-based exchange wallet and are usually a cryptocurrency exchange that allows you to trade or to send them somewhere. This type of wallet is considered less secure compared to a non-custodial wallet but still, there are lots of users who prefer them because they do not require as much responsibility and are usually more convenient for traders. To understand more about the custodial wallets, these are some examples that I provided for you like **Binance, Coinbase, Freewallet, Paypal, Coins.ph.** As long as there are third parties involved when performing transactions and involved to controlling your funds, it is custodial. The advantages of this wallet are even if you lose your mnemonic phrase or private keys, your device got corrupted or the system was hacked, the company is somewhat responsible and can help you to retrieve your access to your assets. The ****Non-custodial wallet**** **is a wallet that gives you all the control of your keys and of course, YOUR FUNDS! that is very solid proof that the fund is yours**. just like what they say *"Not your keys, not your coins"* simply because you don't have the guarantee of ownership if you don't have the recovery phrases. It is much secure because that transaction is not involving any third parties to make the transaction successful. As long as you have the seed phrase of your wallet and you make sure that no one can access then your fund is very secure. And if you ever lost it, there is no chance to retrieve the funds. I just made an excuse. As I thought that this one will be another boring topic but I don't want to let my account become inactive for no reason. There are times that I think if I am really procrastinating or am just lazy when it comes to doing this kind of routine. Losing on my track or just prioritizing my inner peace or whatever but don't you think it's absurd haha. I remember when I started my journey and building my name here in read.cash and noise.cash, I put so much effort and sincerity into every single step that I make. I learned to be humble, appreciative and become a mentor of so many users when they are also starting. As I told myself that I will share my knowledge with everyone willing to know more with me, I build camaraderie. Guided them and helped them when they needed a friend who can grab their hand to pull them up. I was eager to achieve goals before, I was determined and I was so inspired like hey come on who wouldn't be if those users made a huge impact on how to shape my image here. So taking a step by step process by grinding for a week, aiming for a goal every month and when I thought that I can do it too, I decided to enter Club1BCH. I cannot go this far without my readers, without my sponsors and without my virtual friends.
