One Ordinary Day Everyone was stunned when one day they just woke up and notice this one building in the corner of the road that has been empty for 3 years now. No one actually knows who the owner of that particular building because they never saw anyone visiting that place. No one wants to buy that building because of the accident 3 years ago which caused a death of 3 people. But no one knows too who that people are. It's a big puzzle to anyone if how it happened but even those people who's living there since they were a kid doesn't have no idea or a memory of that building. So it's a big mystery to them that it is open now and there's a sign in there with those words "Queen's Burger" Seems like someone open a burger house in that building without anyone noticing it. They are surprised when they saw it that one Friday morning. And because that town is one lively town, people visit that place one by one just to greet the new owner of that building. One after another, and everyone is going out on that place with a paper bag in their hand with a wide smile. It's actually a burger from the Queen's Burger. It's the opening day so anyone who's an early bird will get a free King's Burger from Queen's Burger. It's no ordinary burger because the patties was filled with cheese and it was grilled. And they used special meat in it that no one actually knows what, as it is a secret according to the owner. It was also freshly made because you can see how they make the patties like it is a pure meat. Once it was grilled you will taste and see how juicy and tasty it is. And the smell? It was pure bliss to anyone who can smell it and anyone will surely stop just to smell that grilled meat. And that happens with they finally open the door. The smell that was circling on the four corner of the room was now coming out and every human who's passing by will stop and look to where it coming from and that's where they only discover that there's a newly opened burger house in that town. The opening is a super success and owner is smiling like crazy coz she earned a lot from them. Night Time... It's 10 PM in the evening, the place that was filled with lights just an hour ago is now gone. It's too dark now and the only lights that you can see is the light coming from that tall light post. And far from that light post you can see a shadow lurking Around waiting for something that no one knows what. ...... -- Every store owner is still close but that newly open Burger House is already open so early at 6 am. While the others open their store at 7 am, this one is different. Maybe they are also targeting people who eats breakfast in the morning. And exactly at 6:30 two people come in in the store and ordered 2 King's Burger. It is a burger with that special meat. The owner happily prepared the patties while humming a good song and she proceed on grilling it. She hand them to her customer and the 2 left with a smile on their face. And after that 2 was another customer and it continue until it gets dark again and the place close. And just like yesterday she is smiling widely while counting the money on the counter. She ot a lot again because people just can't get enough with her burgers. And the best seller? It's the King's Burger off course. And because of that she runs out of that special meat again and that why she need to get it again. She then lock the door of the store and ready her self to get her special meat. She didn't even notice a shadow from the one corner of the store and just like that she left. While the shadow from the burger house decides to come out after making sure that the owner is gone. The shadow then roam around the place and check every corner of the store. Then the counter, the design, the interior and then proceed to where the kitchen is. The shadow continue to check the kitchen, open the cabinet to where she thought the ingredients is being put. And lastly, the shadow open the refrigerator and inspect what's inside of it and there discover a head of a human. And that's where the light turn on and the shadow was so scared to death coz she's been discovered. "Oops, you're the owner of Mc Cafe right the one in front of Mrs. Smith Gym. Do you need anything here?" "W-what? So what if it's me. I'm just trying to look for an idea so that I can apply it to my cafe." "Hmmm, you can just ask me nicely you know. Not like this, like you're some kind of thief." "Then what is this. Why there's a head in your refrigerator. What is that!" "Oh, you saw it. Now I really need to do something to you." "W-what??? Are you going to chop me too and make a patties out of my flesh! You're a devil!!!!" "Maybe I am." And with that the Burger House owner get a big knife on the side and swing it effortlessly but suddenly stop midway. "On the second note, I'm actually looking for someone who can be my accomplice to my crime. In other words, I am giving you a chance now to live. So what? Do you want to be meaty, juicy patties or you want to be my co owner? What do you think ma'am?" "As if I have a choice." That's the only words she can utter." "Yes! You don't really have a choice. It's either I kill you or you will work for me. Here right now and on this day!" And the woman just nod to what the burger house owner coz she don't really have a choice. -- "Isn't that you Mrs. Smith? But what happened to your cafe? And why are you grilling that meaty, juicy patties in that griller? You're working here now?" "Oh, Mrs. Marites, I was asked by her if I want to you know make our store become one. I thought about it and it's not really a bad idea. Look at the people having their coffee while munching their King's Burger. I think I did the right decision." "Oh that's awesome. I didn't think of that ha. That's a nice strategy." "Yes, so do you have an order now?" "Oh yes, as usual 2 order of King's Burger. I will just never get tired on that special burger. Oops, make it a 3 order you can have that one, pleased eat with us." "WHAT!!! NO!!" "Oh My, that startled me. Y-you don't have to shout if you don't want it that much Mrs. Smith. You're hurting my feelings!" "I'm sorry, it's just that I'm still full so I hope you understand." -- And they become a partner in crime and no one knows until when.
