Speed Thrills But Kills
Good morning!
I woke up early today. A nightmare is to blame. I still can't get it out of my head. This nightmare has something to do with what happened to my husband yesterday. But before I go into details, let me say, "How's everybody?" I have been away for a long time, haven't I? I got busy in the hive and this and that, lol!
Anyway, moving on with my story, yesterday, my husband got involved in a road accident. He was on his way back home to have lunch when another motorcycle passed him and took his lane. and then collided with my husband's motorcycle before colliding with another vehicle. The impact was so bad that the rider was thrown unconscious by the roadside.
Luckily, my husband only got bruises on his feet. He managed not to fall when it collided with his motorcycle.
Here are some photos of the accident...
The encircled photo is my husband's motorcycle. He waited for the ambulance to arrive before he left the area. I was worried and mad at the same time when he arrived. I kept telling him before to stay safe and drive slowly, and then this happened. He said that it was not his fault. He was driving slowly because there was traffic ahead. And even the traffic enforcers let him go home without asking more questions about the incident. And they found out that the rider seemed to be drunk.
I was so nervous that I dreamt about it, gosh!
This is the second time that he has been involved in a road accident. The first time happened when I was still in the hospital. That one was more severe because he almost got crushed by a truck. Thank God for his good reflexes—he avoided it and only got bruises all over his body. I only found out about it a week after that incident. At that time, my aunt was taking care of me, so he did not go to the hospital until his bruises were healed.
So I keep reminding him to drive slowly and be safe when he goes to work, but he told me this:
*Kahit gaano ako kaingat kung ang ibang driver eh di maingat, andyan palagi ang aksidente.*
Kayo na po bahala magtranslate kasi limited pa english dahil maaga pa, HAHAHAHA!
So please, let's all be mindful every time we hit the road. Let's not just think about our safety but other drivers' and commuters' safety as well.
Before I end this article, I want to share Koykoy's photo. This was taken just this morning. I let him sleep in our bedroom because my other cats bullied him. I hope this will give you positive vibes throughout the day.

Lost and Found
Hello everyone! How was everything here? I love the new updates; how about you?
Anyway, I was kind of lazy the past few days, and I have reasons for it. I was not able to write an article, but I read some from time to time.
Yesterday, I was not in the mood for anything. I woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Do you have one of those days when you don't want to do anything and something pisses you off? That was what happened to me.
As I have said, I was not in the mood yesterday. The reason for it was that I felt pain in my wrist. I could not move my left hand; it felt like something would be torn inside if I forced myself to use it. I don't know if it is arthritis, but I told my husband to buy me medicine because the pain is unbearable.
The next thing that happened was when I was going to take a dump, and suddenly, there was no water running in the faucet. I was really about to lose my patience. Good thing there's still a half-bucket of water in the bathroom.
I kept my calm and told myself that nothing could go wrong—that's the end of it.
So I went on with cleaning my bedroom, doing the dishes, and cooking. After taking the medicine, the pain became bearable, so I was able to do my usual routine.
Later that afternoon, when I was about to have lunch, I found out that I was out of medicine, the one that I must take four times a day. So I immediately sent a message to my husband, told him about my concern, and he said that he would buy it and it wouldn't take a while. I waited for at least half an hour, and then he arrived. I could tell that something was wrong because it was written all over his face.
As I was about to ask what happened, he blurted out that his wallet was gone. It must have fallen out of his pocket after his trip to the drugstore. I really lost my patience that time, but I just kept it to myself because I knew that he was already annoyed and probably blaming himself for losing it, and I didn't want to make the situation worse.
In that wallet were his identification cards: voter's ID, PhilHealth, driver's license, and national ID. He was not concerned about the money; all he wanted back was his ID. At that moment, all we could hope for was that someone with a good heart would find his wallet and return it to us.
And just like that, our prayers were answered!
When he returned home later that day, he told me that he got his wallet back. Someone from a radio station (DYVR) called and told him that someone surrendered his wallet on their station. He was so relieved. Though the money was no longer there, at least he got his wallet back, and that's what's more important.
*In life, there are times that our patience will be put to the test. It is inevitable. But let us keep in mind that when negative things happen, positive things will somehow emerge. There is nothing permanent in this world, not even problems. So stay calm and positive, and things will turn out just fine.*

A New Bee is in the Hive
I feel under the weather today. It is one of those days when I feel sick and just want to do nothing. In fact, I just woke up from a 2-hour nap. And somehow it helped me regain my strength.
I have no plans to write, but I just couldn't hide the excitement of sharing with you that finally, I have published an article on HIVE. Yay!
I signed up on Hive a week ago, but reading some articles from users about their experiences on Hive made me think twice. However, there are other users too who encourage me to try, so what the heck, why not fly into the hive and see it for myself, right?
So yesterday, I spent most of my time on Hive, composing my article, and asking some Hivians on Discord about this and that. They are so diligent in helping me and answering my queries. I knew most of them because they are also read.cash users. There is also Ruffa, who helped me a lot, giving me tips on what to do and guiding me on how to write my article. I am so grateful to her because I know that she is busy, but she never hesitates to reply to my chats.
And so here it is, TADAAA!
https://peakd.com/hive-188409/@pachuchay/hi-im-pachuchay
And look at all the love and support that was given to me. I never expected it because I knew that Hive is a bit more complex than read.cash, so getting all that is overwhelming for me. Hivians are very welcoming too.
I know that I have a long way to go before I can establish my name on Hive, but this little step is a good start. So, fighting Pachuchay!
So I am inviting you all to try Hive as well.

Another thing that I accomplished yesterday was that I finally got to register my SIM card on the Smart network. I had trouble doing it before. Perhaps their site was overwhelmed by so many users who tried to register. But yesterday, it only took me 5 minutes.
And after I successfully registered my SIM, I received a freebie of 3 gb of data and unlimited calls to all network valid for 1 day.
That's it guys, see you on my next blog!

A Messy House and CATS
Anhyeong Chingus!
I was a bit occupied yesterday. It's Saturday and the only time that my daughter is home the whole day, so I took the chance to clean the house with her help. My husband was so against it, but since the only thing I did was tell my daughter what to clean and this and that, he then agreed. It took us a while before we were done. I only did a little, but my body got so tired.
When I was hospitalized for months, I was already expecting that our house would be a total mess. But I did not expect it to be this messy, like everything was scattered. Our television was broken by our cat, according to my husband. Laundries were everywhere. Our bedroom was also "ugh!" I cannot simply put into words how to describe it. So when I feel a little better, I slowly put things in place. I started in the bedroom; next was my kitchen. I let my daughter clean the bathroom because I cannot withstand the smell of bleach. I am still not satisfied with the outcome, but at least it was not the same as when I went home after I got discharged. As much as I would like to keep things the same as before, my body won't cooperate, so I told myself to be satisfied for now.
Another thing that happened when I was away from home was that my cats slowly died one by one. Most of you probably know that I have 21 cats. They're not just my cats, but my babies. I've been posting their photos in noise.cash before, and those who are fur mommies can relate to how much I love my furbabies. My husband did not tell me at first because he knew that it would break my heart and I would cry a river. I only found out when my daughter went home and could not find some of my cats, and when he asked his father about it, he said that they had died. We were both crying, me and my daughter, when we found out.
They are well-fed. Before going to work, my husband fed them and left food in their food bowls. So we don't know what caused their deaths. But according to my husband, my cats were not as playful as before when I was at home. They were all dull and just sleeping. So I was thinking that maybe they miss me. And I missed them so much, I am actually crying right now. I missed them, especially Siomai. He is one of my favorite cats because he is so sweet and clingy. He always wants to cuddle. Also Ikay, Ikay was my ampon.
From 21 cats, I now only have 10 cats. And we have two new kittens. I named them Ash (in memory of my previous cat whose name is Ash) and the other one is Ping, short for "Pi-ang," because one of its legs is not well developed, but mind you, she's got beautiful eyes. Her right eye is green while the other one is blue.
Okay, enough with my babbling about my cats. I got carried away, lol!
And so that was the reason why I could not make an update nor read and leave comments in your articles, but you need not worry because I am now ready to rock and roll!

Hi everyone! Sorry I wasn't able to keep up or post an update yesterday. It's just one of those days when I felt so weak and just stay in bed the whole day.
Anyway, will be reading your articles later and might publish one also.
Have a nice day guys!
When things didn't go as planned..
Another day has almost come to an end. How's your day? Did it turn out as you planned or go the other way around? Mine was the latter. But before I go into detail, let me start with how my day started.
Just as usual, I woke up as early as 6 in the morning. It was the alarm that I set last night that woke me up, not my body clock. I need to take medicine, that's why. I should take my medicine four times a day: at 6 in the morning, 12 in the afternoon, 6 in the evening, and 12 at midnight. Sometimes, my husband has to wake me up at midnight for me to take my medicine because, no matter how long the alarm sounds, I still sound asleep, sometimes drooling!
So after taking my medicine, I went back to sleep and woke up around seven thirty. And when I woke up, my breakfast was already served. My husband or sometimes my daughter had to prepare our breakfast because it was hard for me to prepare it for them because I felt so sleepy always.
It's because I didn't get decent sleep at night. I wake up from time to time to suction out the phlegm in my tracheostomy. It is so bothersome that sometimes I just let it accumulate until such time that I can no longer breathe. Just imagine you were sound asleep, then suddenly you had to wake up to suction. Ugh!
So to make a long story short, my breakfast was already served when I woke up.
I was supposed to have my checkup today because of the cough and cold, but like I mentioned in the first part of this article, it didn't happen. Yesterday, our water line was suddenly cut off, although the bill is supposed to be due on the 28th of this month.
I was so annoyed, and so was my husband. So we have decided to cancel my checkup and use the money to pay the water bill instead. I told my husband to go straight to customer service and complain about what happened, and according to him, they did not let him pay the reconnection fee because of the shortcomings on their part. They said that the personnel got confused by the names, so our line was cut instead of our neighbor's. I don't know how it happened, but it happened.
Anyway, now we have our water supply back. And I am so happy; you know how stressful it is to have no water supply. I immediately took a bath and washed the dishes, and my husband cleaned our garage.
So let me know how your day went..

Tough Times Don't Last, Tough People Do..
I've been staring at the blank screen for quite some time now because I don't know where to start. I was away for almost 6 months in read.cash. I think it started when I was hospitalized until now. Yesterday, Jeaneth sent me a message telling me that Rusty was back. I was so happy upon knowing it, and she encouraged me to go back and write it. So here I am, composing this article, which I know some of you might think nonsensical, lol!
Let me give you a quick flashback of what happened to me after I was discharged from the hospital. Most of you knew that I was hospitalized in September 2022, and due to a lack of funds to pay the bill, I stayed there for 4 months, from September to January 2023.
I was so happy that I was finally home, but after a week, my condition got worse. I lost so much weight because I was not able to eat properly because of the tracheostomy. My sister was so worried, but, honestly, we cannot afford to send me back to the hospital, so I stayed at home, hoping that I would get better from the medicines that were prescribed to me.
So for me to get better, I tried my best to eat. Would you believe that I was crying every time I ate at that time? I have no choice; if I want to get better, I have to endure everything. And miraculously, my condition got better. I am slowly gaining some weight and can eat without any trouble. Although there were times that I felt so weak, it was manageable.
The thing about this disease is that it comes and goes, since there is no cure. And a simple cough or cold could trigger the symptoms.
Speaking of which, I woke up this morning a little feverish due to a cough and cold. I immediately took paracetamol and went back to sleep. After two hours of sleep, I feel so much better. I was supposed to have a checkup today, but because my husband had to go to work, we decided to have it tomorrow instead.
I am always alone in our house, which is not advisable because of my condition, but because my husband has to go to work and my daughter has a class to attend, I have no choice. They just keep checking on me by phone or video call every now and then.
I don't know how much time I have left because obviously people like me who suffers from Myasthenia Gravis has a short life span compared to healthy people. But I have no plan of giving up. As long as God wakes me up every morning, I know that I have another day to live.
That would be all for now. More writing from me soon. By the way, Ruffa is encouraging me to try Hive as well. I will consider doing that soon.

My Journey Through Hell Part II
*"I thought I'd lost you.."*
Those were the words my husband uttered when we were already alone in our room. The doctors and nurses left after checking everything that needs to be done. He said those words while sobbing. He kept on asking if I am hurting or if I am okay. I just blink in response. I want to hold his face but I cannot move my body.
Then he told me everything that happened in the ER, the time that I lost consciousness and could not remember what happened next.
According to him, right after I said that I can not breathe, I went into a seizure. He panicked and called the nurse immediately. The staff rushed to check on me while my husband was yelling at them, cursing them, and telling them that they did not do their job properly. The guard had to take him outside the ER because he was making a scene and was attempting to take a video which is forbidden.
But before he was taken outside, he saw me lose consciousness and a long beep sound in the machine can be heard. At that moment, he cried and would like to go back inside but the guards were holding him. While listening to him, I thought I was watching a movie because it was like a scene from a movie.
Surprisingly, I wasn't terrified because I have no recollection of what happened. But then I realized, that I just had a near-death experience. I died for a moment.
I thanked God for giving me a second chance in life. Maybe it was not my time and He gave me more time to do things right because honestly, I am not a saint but not a devil also. I guess you all know what I mean.
After a while, my daughter arrived. She was crying because according to her, my husband called, telling her that I was in critical condition and that she needs to be there. Then the nurse went in and told them that it is very important that I have a companion in the room. That I should not be left alone.
That night, I had a decent sleep, but every hour nurses were checking my vital signs, checking my IV, injecting medicines in it, and taking a blood sample. It was painful at first but became tolerable. I guess I get used to the pain. Just imagine, every night for 7 consecutive days, they were taking blood samples, 2 to 3 times. Who wouldn't get used to it?
The next morning, a nurse and a priest went into our room. The nurse told us that the priest would pray for me and bless me. I think it is called "anointing of the sick." Then the priest told me to be strong, to lift it all to the Lord, and have faith that I will be healed. I cried after hearing those words. I seldom go to church and I think I don't deserve His grace but at that moment, I knew that I will not be forsaken.
We thanked the priest before they left.
As I have mentioned in my latest article, we were waiting for the result of my RTPCR test. I had already taken the Rapid test but according to the staff, I need to undergo RTPCR, for confirmation. The result of the Rapid test was negative. But according to the nurse, if ever I get positive for the RTPCR test, I will have to transfer to another hospital. They would kick us out because they do not cater to COVID patients.
My husband got mad but the nurse sheepishly told him that he was sorry and there is nothing he could do about it. That is the hospital's policy.
After hours of waiting, the result is out and it was negative! We all feel happy about it but our happiness was short-lived because we need to give 40 thousand as a downpayment before I will be transferred to the ICU. We only had 10 thousand in our pocket and it was intended for medicine. So we decided to stay in the same room although it would be much better for me to stay in the ICU because each patient has a nurse that would look after the patient.
But I am satisfied with the nurses who look after me. They were so attentive to my needs and even taught me about what to do to avoid skin rashes etc.
--
There's so much to tell about my journey through hell but I opted not to continuously write about it because it might send you to the pit of boredom, lol!
So for my next article, I think it would be about the different nurses I met and the funny moments that happened during the lowest time of my life.
That would be all, thanks for reading!

My Journey Through Hell
September 2, 2022, at around 10 in the morning, I was rushed to the ER. I was extremely weak and was told that I need to be admitted to the hospital. My sugar level dropped as well as my Potassium. Many procedures were done, including X-rays, blood work, NGT, etc.
NGT stands for Nasogastric tube. A method of inserting a plastic tube into one of the nostrils, down the back of the throat, and into the stomach.
Source https://www.gillettechildrens.org/your-visit/patient-education/using-a-nasogastric-tube
After that, I had to stay at the ER just until a room would be vacant because, at that time, even the ER was jam-packed.
Day 1 at the ER
I thought that once I'm in the hospital, my condition would get better, but I was wrong. I was so weak that I can't even move my legs. My husband had to carry me every time I need to use the toilet. So the nurse told me to wear diapers instead. I refused at first because I am not used to wearing it but I don't want to be a burden to my husband.
At night, I could not sleep. I felt discomfort, uncomfortable because of the tube inserted in my nostril but I had no choice because it was hard for me to swallow any kind of food, even water.
Day 2 at the ER
My condition got even worst. At that time, it was so hard to breathe although there was oxygen in me, I kept on complaining and I knew that the nurses were annoyed. I can sense it through their actions. I was crying in silence because of what I'd felt.
Nurses, we're checking my vital signs every hour and they told me that the oxygen level in my body was normal so I need to relax.
Evening came, and my breathing became heavier. It felt like there was something heavy pressing against my chest. So to check if I still have enough oxygen in my body, I told my husband to hand me the **pulse oximeter**. One of the staff gave us that when I was admitted. It is a device used to estimate the saturation level of the oxygen in the blood and pulse rate.
After using it, the result showed that my pulse rate was below normal, it was 38. My husband called the nurse and when they checked it again, it was normal 56. She told us that maybe the oximeter that I used is damaged. How could that be possible? It is new, I supposed when they gave it to us.
I was in doubt so, after 15 minutes, I checked again. and the result was not okay, though the oxygen level was normal, my pulse rate was not. It was 32. So I told my husband to call the nurse again and when they checked it, it was down to 30. They head back to the nurse's station and after a minute or two, they were back and transferred me to another bed where they can see me and they connect me to a machine where they can see my vitals on a big monitor.
At that moment, I can hear my husband complaining or more on arguing with my doctor as to why my condition didn't get any better after all those medicines were injected into me. The doctor said that the medicine is not a magic pill and that once taken, I would get better. It would take some time before it will take effect.
I called my husband just to stop their argument. He sat beside me and asked if I'm okay. I told him that I can't breathe.
And that was the last thing that I remembered. After that, I don't know what happened next. The next thing I knew was, I was already connected to a mechanical ventilator and there was a tube inside my mouth. I was surrounded by nurses and doctors. I was looking for my husband but I could not see him with the people surrounding me.
I've heard one of the nurses say, "she's awake."
That was when I saw my husband, he hold my hand and asked if I'm okay. Then I heard the doctor say that it was a good sign that I was able to regain consciousness immediately.
After all the fuss, we were told that there was a vacant room but it is a private room. My husband agreed. For the time being, I will be transferred there, and once the result of my RTPCR test is out, I will be transferred to the ICU, where I will be given utmost care.
to be continued......
*Hi everyone! Oh, it feels good to be back! I hope my diligence won't betray me, hahaha!*
*Anyway, I have been so excited to share my story of how I was from the day that I was admitted up to this day. From all the struggles, and hindrances that I had to overcome just to be alive. So expect more of this, I hope it won't bore you guys!*
*Till next reading!*

Hi everyone! Look who's back?! Charooot!
Well, i will try to find my way back into writing. I hope this kasipagan of mine in not just out of boredom, hehehe..
I will try to publish an article later. I hope you'll have spare time to read it. Thanks!
Mga Pagsubok lamang Yan, Wag mong itigil ang Laban...
Hello mga fersons! How are all guys?
First things first, I am not in good shape kaya I was not able to engaged more and published an article for the past 4 days. It's my fault though because di agad ako nagpacheck up sa doctor ko, for two reasons. First was, kaya ko pa naman(and so I though). Second reason was, natakot ako. Natakot ako na maconfine ulit sa hospital dahil we are not capable of that procedure yet.
But the other day, my husband told me na kumuha na ng appointment for check up kasi nakikita nya na hirap na talaga ako. My hands/fingers become stiff. Even my neck, ngalay na ngalay. All my muscles are affected. That's the reason why di ako masyado makatagal sa gadget. Even in noise.cash eh di ako makapag update masyado. So I hope you understand.
Going back to my check-up, so ayun nga, kahapon eh nakapagpacheck-up na ako. Buti maisingit ako ni Miss Jane sa mga pasyente ni Doc that day. It was suppose to be 5 pm but 3 pm pa lang, nagtext na si Miss Jane(Dra.
As soon as we arrived eh dumiretso na agad kami sa loob ng clinic and doc was waiting for me na. The moment na magsalita ako, she said, "Naku inaatake ka na naman, ano ba nangyare sayo?" I told her na nilagnat ako, sipon at ubo. And then sabi ni husband eh nahawa ako sa kanya.
And she said na a simple fever, cough and cold can trigger my disease kaya dapat na iwasan ko talaga. Unlike normal people, mahina ang immune system ko kaya dapat doble ingat.
She gave me another prescription and medyo nag improve naman ang condition ko. And she told us about the thymoma(bukol sa thymus gland) that I might have. Then nag ask ako sa kanya if cancerous ba yun, she said no naman. But if ever na meron eh I have a bigger chance na gumaling kapag inalis dahil bata pa ako.
So when we went home, kinausap ko si husband that if ever I have thymoma, I want it to be removed. Kasi ayoko maging ganito for life, ang hirap as in. And the gastos, my gosh!
And there were times na nawawalan na ako ng pag-asa like the other day, I was thinking of myself inside a coffin and pinaplano ko na Yung mga dapat gawin sa lamay at libing ko, kaloka di ba?
I am just thankful na may very supportive husband ako.
So lalaban ako.

Battery Life: 50%
Hello everyone! It's been a while since my last article here. But I read articles from time to time every time I feel fine. But I could not engaged that much due to my health issue.
Anyway, you might be wondering about the title of this article, "Battery Life: 50%." Well, that's how exactly my "capacity" right now. After I got infected with cough and cold, my body become so weak. The Myasthenia crisis that I am experiencing at that moment worsen. I could not even swallow a single drop of water. I am so thirsty and so hungry yet I can not do something about it.
Then I consulted online with regards to my cough and cold. The doctor gave me prescription for it and she suggested that I should undergo a swab test but I declined and told her that I should just isolate myself. I knew that the result would be positive, I am certain of that because you know how a simple cough and cold could mean after you undergo through swab test.
I am worried that my husband might lose his job if we all get quarantined so I firmly told the doctor that I will not do the swab testing and she said ok.
After taking the meds, I get better. I mean the cough and cold gradually disappear and as of this moment, i got no cough already. But the thing is, I still could not eat properly especially at noon and at night. In the morning, I am OK though but when noon time comes, that is when the struggle begins more so at night. I am just hoping that after I finish the medication for my cough and cold, I would get better, like better better.
And now, let's go to a much lighter part of this article. This morning, while we were having breakfast, my husband suddenly told me to get dress because we will go to the beach. I got so excited and immediately finish the lugaw.
Since it is Sunday, many people were already at the baybay when we got there. The weather is perfect for a swim. I should have brought a towel so that I could go for a dip but a forgot so I just let myself enjoy the scenery, the sea breeze brushing against my skin and the laughter from the kids that were having fun at the beach.
Here are some of the photos I took earlier.
I remember when we first arrived here in Capiz, my daughter was of the same age of that baby in the photo. She was not afraid of the water and cry if I take her out.
Look how calm the water was.. So peaceful..
Taho at the beach is the best!
I kept on reminding myself that whatever I am going through, NEVER forget to appreciate little things that brings happiness in life.

Finding My Way Back...
Tik..tak..tik..tak..tik..tak...
An hour passed, and I was still staring blankly at the monitor. So many things that were going on in my head yet I am not able to start anything or should I say I do not know where and how to start. I was away for too long on this platform so I have no idea how to pave my way back. I am not as shameless as you thought I am, char! I mean with everything that I have received from all of you guys, I was not able to give back, yet, due to the circumstances that I am in. This may sound cliche but I will try to give back all the support to all of you.
Anyway, this would be just a little update of what I have been doing from the days that I am not writing or reading anything here. Well honestly, I had done NOTHING. Literally, nothing. I JUST ATE, SLEPT, ATE, AND SLEEP AGAIN.
The reason behind all these as I had experienced the Myasthenia crisis again. Myasthenia crisis includes difficulty in breathing and swallowing food and it also affects speaking. It started last Tuesday but at that time, it was still bearable and I can still manage to eat but it gradually worsen as the days go by, and last Thursday, the worst happened. I cannot eat nor even drink water. I am so hungry and thirsty yet I cannot suffice it. I was crying inside the room because I do not want my family to see me again in that situation for I know that it will also affect them, especially my husband. I did not consult my doctor about it as well because it means that I needed to be confined in the hospital again and I don't want that to happen.
My husband asked me if I could still endure it and I said yes, that I only need time to rest. Of course, I am not sure about it but I am praying that what I really need is rest. So he took an off from his work, two days. He told me to just stay in bed and he will do the rest. So for that span of time, I think it did help that I had a long day of rest like doing nothing.
And since yesterday, I am feeling much better. In fact, last night, I was able to eat dinner and had a snack later in the evening which I was not able to do the past few days. Like I only had 1 meal a day.
I guess the garlic water that I had been consuming also helps. I saw a video about it on Facebook. A certain Dr. Eric Berg was explaining the benefits that we could get from drinking garlic water every day. You can check the video below to know more about it.
https://youtu.be/U67eCv5Hd8k
I am so desperate to get better so I tried this one and I don't know if it is the medicine that I took or the garlic water but I improved a lot. As I have mentioned above, I can now have three meals a day, unlike last week. I regained my strength and was able to go back to my normal routine.
With this progress that I had experienced, I am planning to continue drinking garlic water alongside my prescription. I drink a cup of garlic water in the morning after breakfast. You can also try this one but you have to endure the smell and the taste.
I hope this will really help me regain my strength.

"Are You Lost Baby Girl?"
Source https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/284378#causes
Anhyeong chingus!
Another week has started pero here I am, still slacking off. But don't get me wrong, it's my body that was not cooperating. I think it was because of the new medication that my doctor prescribed on my last visit on her clinic. I feel so sleepy every time. All I wanted to do was sleep and eat and sleep and eat. But despite of all that, I don't think that I am gaining weight, or baka assuming lang talaga ako hahaha! I am fine with that naman, the always sleepy part, what worries me was the rashes that occurred. I informed my doctor about it and she said na it is one of the side effects of Imuran( newly added medicine on my prescription). She said that after two or three days and nothing change, she will give me a substitute for it. Imuran is also a medication for Myasthenia. My doctor told me that it would help my other med which is Mestinon to avoid having Myasthenia Crisis. As of this moment, wala naman akong rashes, so nag stop na sya and my doctor told me to continue taking it lang. And immediately inform her when the rashes occurs again.
Ok so let's go down to business and talk about what this blog is all about. Well, since we are experiencing heavy rains and thunderstorms, we decided to take a nap na lang, me and hubby, siempre kasama na labing labing doon, charoot! 😂
And so yun na nga, I slept like a baby afterward. But medyo naloka ako ng slight because I dreamt of another man. So here's the eksena daw, I was in a place na di ko pa napuntahan and I was alone. And here's this young guy, a total package of every girl's dream, char! Approach me and asked, "Are you lost baby girl?" So I was like super pa cute and said, "Hende nemen mesyede" with matching flipping my hair, HAHAHA!
Then later on, habang nagkakape kami eh I told him about my dream. I told him,
"Pa, I dreamt of another man kanina. "
He gave that look and asked, "Sino, isa sa mga ex mo? "
"No, hindi ko nga kilala pero in fairness ang gwapo. "
"Mas gwapo pa sa akin? "
"Of course naman." Sabay tawa😂
And then he said, "OK lang, minsan eh nananaginip din naman ako ng ibang babae."
"Sinoooooo?"
Pero bakit kaya ganoon ano, I often dream of another guy talaga. 😂

And that's it guys, thanks for reading. Pasensya na kayo sa blog ko for today, no sense at all.

Starry Eyed Moments
It was a fine day. The weather is fine too, not too hot, and I could feel the cold breeze on my skin. It was perfect weather for a stroll, so I decided to take my dog out for a walk. Because I can't be out for long, it would only be a short walk. COVID cases are on the rise in our area. I put a leash on Odie and headed out. I have four dogs but can't take them all, so I just took Odie.
I was enjoying the walk when Odie started barking. It was not an agitated bark like he was annoyed, but a happy bark because he was wagging his tail. I didn't get it at first until I saw a cat from afar that looked like my Ash(the one that I lost months ago). I told Odie to stop barking because I didn't want him to attract the attention of the other dogs, but he just kept on barking. Then I looked at the cat once again, and my heart beat fast. I wasn't sure at first, so I called him by his name, and he ran toward me while meowing. "It was indeed Ash!" I carried him quickly while calling his name, and my tears were flowing down my face.
"Oh Ash, Mamita missed you so much! Where have you been? I thought you were dead! I saw your rotten body months ago. Or was it that I was just mistaken? "
I was crying while holding him, and he was rubbing his face against mine while purring. I guess he misses me too! And Odie was so excited and happy to see Ash again that he couldn't stop barking and jumping. He wanted to kiss Ash, so I put Ash next to him and they were happily teasing each other.
I am so happy. The ash that I thought died months ago returned home.
Then suddenly, he stops meowing and walks away. I called him and he looked back while meowing. I think he wanted us to follow. He just kept on walking and looking back again and walked again. And we just followed him until I noticed that I was not familiar with the place anymore. I looked back and I was in a different place already. "Have we walked that far? Far enough for us to get lost?"
And when I looked back at Ash, he was surrounded by other cats, and it looked like they were all happy to see him. They rubbed their fur onto Ash and purred and meowed nonstop. And then I saw cats from afar and was astounded when I saw them walk using their two hind legs. Like they were all walking like humans. And then Ash approached me while I was walking the way the others walked. I admit, I got scared, especially when Ash started talking to me! What the hell is going on?
*"Mamita, you're in our world now." And you're right, I am already dead.*
" Wait, what? Am I already dead too? "
*"No, you're not. You still have a long life ahead of you. This is all just a dream. I knew that you still wished for me to return home. You still wish that it was not me that you found dead months ago. But you have to move on Mamita, I am already gone and I am happy now together with my newfound friends. I miss you too, Mamita, and I love you. I am so grateful that you fed me to my heart's content and made me happy when I was alive.*
I was crying like crazy when he told me that and I held him tightly.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This was the dream that I had this afternoon. It was so random because I was not thinking about Ash the past few days. Although I mentioned him once in a while, especially every time I saw a cat that looked like him. I even thought that maybe it was Ash. Months had passed since Ash had gone, and little by little I had moved on. Ash is my favorite cat because he was the sweetest. That is why I was so heartbroken when he died. Until now, I still cry every time I remember him, and while I was writing this, I was crying a river.
I guess this is Ash's way of telling me that he also misses me and that I should move on because I have other cats, his siblings, to tend to.
***" Wherever you are, Ash, Mamita got your message. I love you, Ash, and I miss you so much. "***

Be back soon! Break time!
How are you guys? I was surprised when I saw na it was 5 days ago since I published an article. I have been so busy kasi and sometimes my body won't cooperate pa no matter how eager my mind is. I am only 42 yet my body feels like 60 years old na sometimes.
Anyway, I will just give you a little update during my absence here. You all know that I have been seeking financial help from the LGUs and like what I have mentioned in my last article, our Mayor gave me two thousand pesos after I was qualified to received financial aide.
And just last Wednesday, I also received the money from our Governor. It was Tuesday afternoon when I received a message saying that I can get the financial aid that I asked last Wednesday. It was very timely because I am going to have my monthly check up today. Perfect timing, right?
So last Wednesday, I went to the Capitol the time that I was told to be there but when I arrived, there was already a long queue of people who were also there for their financial assistance. The distribution was so unorganized like kalat-kalat ang mga tao hence social distancing was not observed. Patibayan na lang ng katawan ang labanan.
And then, our Governor came to lighten the mood.
This is our Governor. It was my first time seeing him. My husband knew him though kasi his boss and the Governor are good friends. He even celebrated his Victory party sa house ng boss ni husband.
Like what husband said, napakamasayahing tao ni Gov. Castro and palabiro din sya. He went there to explain why natagalan ang pagbibigay nila ng financial assistance. Dapat daw kasi it will only take 3 days or 1 week the most pero it took longer kasi naubos ang funds. After a little speech and humoring us, umalis na sya.
It took two hours bago natawag yung name ko and I did not expect sa perang natanggap ko. I received 8 thousand pesos. It's a big amount na for me kasi I thought two thousand lang din ang ibibigay sa akin. I thanked the staff and went home agad.
And one more thing that kept me occupied was ang pagsama sama sa anak ko para magpamedical. Their schoold required it and also drug test. Yesterday, we went to the public hospital for the drug test kaso 20 person lang ang kaya nilang icater everyday so nagpalista na lang kami for Monday since wala naman silang schedule for the weekend. But when I found out na last day of enrollement na sa Monday, sinama ko na lang ang anak ko kanina sa St. Anthony where I had my check up for her drug test but unfortunately wala silang drug test doon. So back to the original plan na lang which is sa Monday then sabay pagpaenrol na lang.
With all those lakad, I think eh dinamdam na ng katawan ko. I was a little feverish kahapon until this morning. Siguro nga dahil sa pagod kaya sumama ang pakiramdam ko so I need to give a reward sa sarili ko which is mahabang pahinga, hindi yun eternal rest ha, HAHAHA! Siguro mga a week of rest online and from the real world. Although I would still find time to visit here but not as active as I was before. My hands become stiff kasi kapag matagal na may hawak ng cellphone and sometimes it is painful na. So I apologize beforehand for not being able to read your articles. I promise na babawi ako once na nakabawi na ang katawn ko from all those pagods(with "s" kasi madaming pagod talaga😂).
So that's it guys! I hope for your kind consideration(parang excuse letter lang😂).

648 Words To Explain My Absence
I don't know where or how to start. Actually, I have no particular topic to write about. That is the reason behind the " I don't know where or how to start" part. My last article was written two days ago, and I have been so lazy the past few days. As much as I would like to go back to the old Pachuchay, who was very eager to write an article on a daily basis, I just could not. The old Pachuchay, who was thinking of a certain topic the moment she opened her eyes in the morning, should have been more eager than before, but this laziness takes control of my body, lol!
So for today, I have to beat the laziness in me to be able to cope with the days that I am not able to publish an article. I have noticed that read.cash has been a little quiet the past few weeks. And we all know the reason. Do I have to say it?😅 I also learned that most of you here have joined HIVE, and I was left behind. I was planning to create a HIVE account, but I don't know when to execute that plan. Last year, Elyz told me to join HIVE and said she would support me all the way, but I hesitated for the reason that I might not meet the expectations of HIVE. I have this notion that you should have a higher level of knowledge in English if you want to join HIVE. But, since most of you were already there, I figured I'd try my luck there. I would never know if I could if I did not try, right? But still, it would still be a plan, lol! Once I am back to my old self again, I think that would be the best time to jump aboard. As for now, I think the best thing for me to do is to learn how HIVE works.
I have read Jane's article about how HIVE works and how to earn. It was a bit much to take in, but who cares? I know I could if I put my mind to it.
Anyway, let's change the topic and go with how my day went. We had rainy weather here at our place. We were supposed to go to Baybay (beach) early in the morning but canceled it due to the weather. I felt sad because I was looking forward to it since last night but it can't be helped.
My husband took care of the cleaning while I went to the market. And by the way, I also went to the drug store for my 1 week supply of medication. I had availed myself of the Suki Card at Mercury Drug Store and for months of purchasing my meds from them, I had accumulated 110 points. Two hundred pesos' worth of product or medicine is equivalent to one point. And when I calculated it, I had already spent twenty two thousand pesos on medicines! That's a lot of cash for me. If only I am not sick, I could have saved that money or spent it on other necessary things.
As for the 110 points, I redeemed the 95 for this umbrella. It looks sturdy though. Well, it should be because that 95 points is equivalent to 19,000 pesos. So technically, this umbrella is worth 19,000, lol! This is the most expensive umbrella that I have bought. 😂
Oh well, enough with this and this is where this article ends. My fingers are a bit sore already. It was hard for me to write when my fingers are not cooperating. This is also one of the reasons why I was not able to write, my hands/fingers were numb. I can't even use force because it is painful.
Anyway, thanks for reading all the way here. Until next reading! ❤

This Too Shall Pass
Woman 1
I was hospitalized for more than a month in a public hospital. Several tests were done on me to determine what caused my severe weight loss and difficulty breathing. Our pockets were drained and so my eldest daughter also sought financial help from different LGUs, especially when I was about to be discharged from the hospital. She also went here(to the mayor's office) and was given 3 thousand pesos.
After two months, I was discharged. My eldest daughter got involved in a road accident and died on the spot. And so here I am, seeking financial help for her burial.
--
Middle-aged Man
I was a driver for a delivery company. I was involved in a road accident, and due to the impact of the accident, the doctor had to amputate my left leg. I am a father of three and a solo parent. Now that I have become disabled, I don't know how I will be able to support my children.
--
Woman 2
I came here for my son. He was confined to the hospital for almost one month due to kidney failure. He needs to have a kidney transplant. I have been to different social welfare and LGU offices and some of them won't accommodate me because they said that they had already given me financial help, which is true because I had no one else to ask for help but them, so I went there not just once but many times over. I have four more children, and my husband works for a construction company. Now I am here hoping that they will consider my case and give me help with my son's medication.
These are just a few of the stories I've heard from people I've met while going back and forth seeking financial assistance. My heart ached as I listened to their stories. I couldn't think of anything to say to comfort them, so I just nodded and said, "Laban lang, pagsubok lang yan."
It also made me realize that, despite my circumstances, I am still fortunate. Despite my financial and emotional difficulties, my body is complete. I wasn't amputated or anything. My family is healthy because I always pray to God for it. As long as my family is healthy, I don't mind getting sick. It is excruciatingly painful to lose a family member. So my heart goes out to the mother who tragically lost her daughter in an accident. She is a strong woman because she managed to move on for her other children despite her condition. No parent wants their child to be buried 6 feet underground. For a parent, this is the most heartbreaking moment.
So I keep reminding myself that I have no right to question God about why I am in this situation because there are others who are suffering far worse than I am. I have no right to be upset or complain because I know that I am not alone, that He will always be there for me.
Life may be difficult for me now, but I know that **this too shall pass**. All I have to do is to enjoy life while I still can.

Pag May Tyaga, May Nilaga!
Source https://images.app.goo.gl/WFgTCEcehyAh3pto8
Magandang buhay! Magtatagalog muna tayo for today's vidyoww, charizzz! I don't know if sa sakit ko ba to or dahil sa walang katapusang lakad ko last week.
So kahapon nga eh bumalik ako doon sa Social Service ng Mayor. But the thing is, after lunch na ako bumalik and they only cater first 50 people then pagdating ko doon eh pang 51 na ako🤣. And so this morning, inagahan ko na talaga, like super aga. 7:30 in the morning pa lang eh andoon na ako.
Going back doon sa interview, the usual questions lang naman like ano work ni husband, magkanop salary nya, kung may work ba ako. And konteng chika chika pa about kay Kris and sa sakit ko and then I was told na bumalik ng 2 pm for the cash. It took 10 to 15 minutes lang ang interview which I did not expect kasi akal ko eh aabutin ako doon ng syam syam.
I went there quarter to 2 and pagdating ko doon eh madami ng nakapila.
Then she asked me kung nakatanggap na daw ba ako ng text from the Governor's office kasi sya daw eh wala pa.
So I went inside and the staff called me and check the ID and handed me two thousand pesos.
After I received the money, nagpasalamat ako doon sa staff and lumabas na. Pinuntahan ko yung kachika ko and told her na mauna na ako umuwe. We exchanged numbers kasi sabi nya sa akin, mag follow up sya sa kapitol and itext nya ako sa resulta.
So this is what I got, two thousand pesos. Bumili ako ng medicine ko, 20 pieces and the remaining amount is saved for its intended purpose.
`I know, sawang-sawa na kayo sa artikol ko about sa topic na to kaya this will be my last update and my next artikols will be different na, hehe.`

Perseverance Can Lead To Success
Hi everyone! Please accept my apologies for my absence over the last two to three days. Most of you that know me probably know that I have been seeking financial help in our LGU's. That's exactly what I've been doing the last few days. It was very exhausting, but I badly needed financial help.
Last Thursday, I went back to the mayor's office to follow up on my application. I was told to go back Wednesday, but I decided to go Thursday morning just to be sure that they already had the budget for it. Unfortunately, the staff told me that they didn't have the money yet, but I was also told to go back on Monday and be early because they would have the budget on the said day. A friend of mine who works in our brgy referred me to them, so I had a higher chance of obtaining the financial assistance that I badly needed.
I headed straight to the Governor's office and just walked my way there since it is just a short walk from the mayor's office to the Capitol, where the Governor's office is located. I had with me the same requirements that I submitted in the mayor's office. My friend informed me that they would most likely request the same specifications. There was a long queue of people who had the same purpose of going there as me. So I decided to go back after lunch, but I asked for the list of requirements from one of the staff and headed home.
It was 12:30 in the afternoon when I went back, and I was hoping that there would be fewer people, but I arrived there with even a longer queue. After submitting my requirements to one of the staff, I was told to wait for my name to be called. Two hours had passed before I was called inside, and I am pretty sure that I had submitted all the requirements needed. But when the staff checked, she said that I lacked the official quotation price for the chest CT scan. She told me that they needed the official thingy with the signature and not just the request form with the price on it. I thought that they would consider it because it was okay in the mayor's office when I presented it.
What can I do but to take back all the papers and go back to St. Anthony hospital to ask for the official quotation. I was already exhausted, but I still went there so that I could finish everything at the earliest possible time. I had to pay 100 pesos for that official thingy. It was already 3 pm, and I decided to go home and go back to the Capitol the next day.
So yesterday, Friday, I went back to the Capitol at 7:30 in the morning. I went there early, hoping to be the first in the line, but when I arrived, there was already a long queue. But at least I was 10th on the line. They started giving numbers 1 hour later. But here is the thing: the staff told us that they would prioritize those who live outside the city. As in, what the heck?! We were there early, but they would prioritize those who had just arrived because they live far away. I told the staff that it was unfair for those of us who were there early. They should cater to us first since it is a first come, first served policy. But they told us to give consideration to them because they had to travel a long way to get there. We were so annoyed, but there was nothing that we could do but wait. If only I didn't need the money, I'd be long gone from the premises.
Having said that, it took three hours before my name was called. The staff member who interviewed me was so accommodating and she asked questions in the most polite way possible. It took a little longer to check my requirements, but finally, she accepted all of them, and she asked for my number and told me that they would give me a call or text about the schedule of claiming the money in the treasurer's office.
I left the building with a long sigh and in my mind, I was yelling, "at last, I am done and can finally have a long rest."
Now, I just have to wait for the text.
After going through all that, I am so exhausted. I've had a terrible headache going on and off for the past few days. So yesterday, I opted to rest and slept the whole day. And the gloomy weather and heavy rain made it possible for me to sleep soundly.

Adiaphorous Day
Do you also have those days when you feel neither good nor bad and you feel so drained for no apparent reason? Well, that's how my day was.
I woke up this morning with a heavy feeling, like literally. I have my monthly period. I have never experienced abdominal pain, but I feel so lazy every time, and then this gloomy weather that we have in our area makes it worse. Ohh, how I love to tuck in myself under the blanket and sleep more, but I need to get up to prepare my husband's things because he will be staying at the job site for three days to save time and money.
I have to thoroughly check everything, from his clothes to toiletries, blanket, utensils, and food. He told me that it seemed that he would be away for 2 weeks because of the things that I prepared for him. He even joked around and said, "Ayaw mo na ba akong pauwiin?"
I just laughed and told him that it was better na may sobra than kulang, hehe.
He hit the road after we had breakfast. It was a good thing that the rain had stopped because it would be hard for him to travel in the rain.
I then went through my usual routine and took a rest. I felt so tired already by doing a little routine. I have not mopped the floors yet, but my body is telling me to stop and take a rest. I told my daughter to do the mopping and cook our lunch because I had to take a rest. She then asked me if I had taken my meds. I don't know why I felt extra weak today. Maybe it has something to do with my period.
And despite the terrible feeling that I felt, I went out later this afternoon to pay our water bill. It is past due already and I have to pay it to avoid water disconnection. We had a tight budget this week, so I planned to pay only one month's bill. I had just enough money to pay the bill and for my medicine. And then something happened that made my day terribly worse.
There was no line of customers when I arrived at the MRWD, so I headed straight to the teller to pay my bill. I handed him the bill and a one thousand peso bill. He asked me how many months I would like to pay. I told him the only one, and he nodded. He was talking to the other teller beside him while he was punching in the payment.
But when he gave me the change, he said that he was sorry because instead of one month, he mistakenly punched in two months. So I said, "Manong, I told you I'd pay 1 month" And he just kept on apologizing, and he said, "Okay na din yan gah, fully paid ka na."
I left the premises so annoyed. Instead of buying 20 pieces of my medication, I only bought 12 pieces. Oh, that Manong ruined my day and my budget for a week. I have no plan to sell the remaining BCH in my wallet, but because of what happened earlier, I think I have no other choice but to do so.
And that's how my day went. A not so good or bad day I call it a "So-So" day. While google call it "Adiaphorous"
*The definition of* ***adiaphorous*** *is something that is neither good or bad. An example of adiaphorous is something that doesn't make a situation better or worse. Neither harmful nor beneficial.*

When Budgeting Becomes a Challenge
I started my day early in the morning. Sunday is supposed to be my husband's day off, but because his presence is needed during the turnover of the building that he has been working on, he is obliged to be at the site. Our plan to go to the beach is canceled because of that.
I made his usual breakfast and packed his lunch, but he said he'd be home by lunchtime, so there was no need for me to pack him a lunch.
When he headed to work, I started doing my morning chores. Today is Sunday, market day here in Roxas City, and as expected, the market will be crowded with people who wish to buy fresh goods from the local farms nearby. So it is better to be there early to avoid traffic and the crowd.
I went after an hour with two thousand pesos in my wallet. I have to budget that amount and should not exceed it because bills are lining up and need to be paid tomorrow.
I first went to "Pacifica", a farm supply store where I usually buy the dog food for my fur babies. Their prices are much lower compared to other farm supplies. I bought 2 kilograms of Pedigree Mini, which cost two hundred eighty pesos (140 per kg).
And then I proceed to the seafood section. I am planning to cook "Ginataang Tulingan" for today's meal. And I got lucky because there were so many Tulingan sold today at a cheap price. For 220 pesos, I was able to purchase 1.25 kilograms of fish. I bought the remaining ingredients before heading to INJAP supermarket for my basic needs.
INJAP Supermarket is well-known here because they offer lower prices compared to the other supermarkets like Puregold. Today is the last day of a three-day sale that began on July 1, 2022. I was hoping that I could get more than I expected for my budget of one thousand pesos. But due to the inflation rate, prices are through the roof these days. So you know what happened next, hehe.
Soaps, shampoos and other toiletries are not included in the photo
However, I still get to enjoy the shopping spree, Char, because of the buy one, take one promo. They also have this promo which includes 6 pieces of Argentina Meatloaf for the price of 95 pesos. I really saved a lot by buying it because if I bought it in the store, it would cost 25 pesos each. So just calculate how much I had to save.
With a budget of one thousand pesos for groceries, I was able to buy our basic needs, from toiletries to kitchen needs, and some canned goods and snacks.
With the ongoing price hike, budgeting has become very challenging for us. Personally, five thousand pesos is not enough for a week's budget. Plus the medicine, etc.
I went home with 200 pesos left in my wallet. I immediately prepared our lunch because my husband texted me that he'd be home within an hour.
And we had a great meal afterwards.

How about you guys? How much is your budget for a week? And has budgeting become a challenge for you too?

The "Clean Freak" Me
And just like that, it is the month of July already! Where the hell does all the time goes? Lol! Okay, enough with the exaggeration, I just want to brush off this laziness that stayed in me for days. I don't know what's gotten into me these past few days: I lack the energy to write or interact.
So I am now walking my way back on track. Hopefully, I would be able to publish an article on a daily basis again and be more interactive just like before. I needed every penny that I could earn so "Kasipagan Dumapo ka sa akin.!"
Speaking of going back on track, let me start with this prompt that I read in Usagi's article. Here is the link where she gets to choose the following questions which I also used in this article. I find her questions interesting so I did not bother looking for more. https://thepleasantconversation.com/get-to-know-me-questions/
**Are you more organized or messy?**
I was born as a messy person. Like my Lola used to call me "burara" because literally, I was just throwing things after I used them. I always end up wearing the same clothes over and over again because I have no idea where I put my belongings.
But when I started living solo, that was when I realized how being organized is so important. I always end up late at work because it was so time consuming looking for my clothes because I had no idea where I put it the last time, lol! There were even times that I wore the same undergarments for two days! Gosh that was so embarrassing and so unhygienic. That was when I told myself that this has to stop, the messy me. So I started being a clean freak, of course it did not happen so quickly. But I became successful from being a messy person to an organized one. But I think I went overboard because I became a clean freak, lol!
**Would you like to have a job or be an entrepreneur?**
I started working at a very young age, 15 years old. Every time there was a summer jobs in factories near in our place, I see to it that I applied for the job and get hired. Luckily, I always get the job. And my dream job before was to be part of a big company where I can impart my skills, charoot! But it stays as a dream, lol!
What I am saying is that I prefer to have a job because it is guaranteed that I have an income every month. And I am also not good in handling business.
**What is your weirdest trait or habit?**
This is something embarrassing to share but for the sake of my article, I am obligated to do so, lol! Okay, I have this habit of poking my ears using qtip or matchstick. And I always have this look in my face every time I am doing it, lol! And I always have qtips in my wallet before so that whenever I feel doing it, I have always something to use for, hehehe.
But I slowly stop doing it and became successfull when there was a time that there was a blood in the qtip that I used.
**Are you religious/spiritual or an atheist?**
Like @Usagi ,I was so active in our church when I was a kid. We always have a bible study and I am so active in participating in every events in the church.(My grandmother is a Baptist). But growing older, I became more focus on life as is and I seldom go to church and I admit that before, I seldom pray.
To answer the question, I don't consider myself as any of the three but I believe that only my Faith in God could save me.
**Are you close to your family or any particular family member?**
I grew up in an extended family. Here in the Philippines, extended family means two or more family living under one roof. Being said that, I grew up close to my family. It was a fun, chaotic life but a happy one as well. Of course there were disadvantages as well but that can be sort out.
**Do you prefer fame or money?**
Without having a second thought, I prefer money! Who would not want it right? Especially in my current situation, money can really save me and my family. I am also not an attention seeker who wants to be in the limelight always, char! Feeling peymus! HAHAHA!
--
And this sums up to what I am really like. Hope you still like me after reading this, lol!

When Life Gets Hard
There are times in our life na no matter how optimistic you are, susubukin talaga kung hanggang saan positivity mo. Kung hanggang saan aabot ang ngiti mo.
It was more than a month when I was confined. More than a month na din kaming nagbabayad ng utang. Gastos dito, gastos doon. That is the typical life of a sick person. And I feel so sorry sa asawa ko who carries all the burden, solely.
And then another tragedy happened when our stepfather suffered from stroke. Of course, we should help for our mother's sake. Hirap na hirap ngayon ang Mama ko for the reason na we are not around to help her, assist her. Yesterday morning when I called her, eh grabe ang iyak nya dahil wala daw sya makasama doon na magbantay sa asawa nya. Malayo kasi sa highway ang farm, kaya siguro feeling nya eh pinabayaan namin sya. But what can we do?
As of now, my sisters and I were thinking of the best way para mapapayag namin ang mama namin. And I will let them do the task of telling/talking to her. Kasi if ako eh baka mauwe lang sa away namin mag-ina.
Every penny that I earned here and in noise eh pinapadala ko sa mama ko para sa gamutan ng asawa nya. Same goes with my sisters, pinapadalhan din nila. They were telling me na wag na magbigay and unahin na lang ang gamutan ko pero siempre parang ang bigat sa dibdib na di ako makapagbigay. Kasi they also helped me when I got infected with Covid.
Kaya naman for my CT Scan eh lumalapit ako sa mga LGU's dito. But unfortunately, wala pang naging successful.
This morning lang, I went to the Regional Office ng DSWD. Super aga ko and I was so optimistic na may magiging magandang resulta ang pagpunta ko doon. I was number 10 on the list. When the first person was called and interviewed, doon namin nalaman ang sad truth. When she went out, sinabi nya doon sa kasama nya na wala pa daw budget at balik na lang next month. The next person went out and another and another, same ang sinasabi. Parang gusto ko ng umuwe pero I still wait for my turn para malaman if ano ang reason. So when my name was called, ayun nga, the staff told me to go back next month kasi naubos na daw ang budget nila for those who seek financial assistance.
I feel so disappointed because I expected a lot. I went home na pagod at luhaan. But like I said, at least I tried.
But I am still hoping na next week, sa Kapitol naman ako lalapit, eh may magandang resulta na akong makuha.
LABARRRRRRNNNNN!

A Tiring Yet Fulfilling Day!
Howdy guys?! I was away for too long, don't you think? I was not able to read din all your articles for these past few days. I was kinda busy.
I started processing things yesterday. I was advised by a friend na lumapit nga sa LGU para makamenos sa gagastusin ko for my chest ct scan. So kahapon, kasama ko anak ko na nagpunta sa Malasakit Center which is located sa Roxas Memorial Hospital. Unfortunately, I am not qualitfied for the financial assistance because they don't cater outpatients. They only help those who are confined or admitted in the said hospital. So after namin sa Malasakit Center eh dumirteso naman kami ng anak ko sa City Hall but when we arrived there, tinuro kami sa may harap ng City Health Office kasi doon na daw nagkicater ng financial assistance ang Mayor's office. So ayun, naglakad na lang kami kasi another pamasahe na naman eh medyo tipid tayo. So ayun, after mahabang lakaran eh nakarating kami ng may hininga pa, charoot!
Fast forward na tayo today, so ngayon naman, kumuha ako ng 4 copies ng Medical Certificate from my doctor which is worth 300 pesos.
I asked for the complete list of requirements and upon checking it is meron na ako ng lahat ng kailangan.
Then sakay ulit ng tricycle and dumiretso ako ulit sa City Health.
When it was my turn, binigay ko sa kanila yung requirements ko and sabi nya eh wait muna daw ako kasi ichecheck nila. I think 20 minutes had passed bago nila ako tinawag ulit. The lady said na okay naman ang requirements ko. But, as of now daw eh wala pang budget ang office nila for the financial assistance. I was told na bumalik ako Wednesday, next week.
I am a bit disappointed pero at least may liwanag pa akong natatanaw, HAHAHA! okay, so babalikan ko talaga yun next week.
I had a very tiring day but I can say that I accomplished nevertheless what I had on my to-do list.
And that's it for today blog! Thanks for reading!

When It Rains, It Pours
When it rains, it pours.Whether a blessing or a problem, they keep on coming like jeez louis, can you hold your horses! "
Okay, so this will be another rant or if you may, I will have to express everything here because I know that most of you are aware of my situation and won't judge me. So apologies, my friends.
Last night, I received a call from my mom. She was also venting her frustrations and problems on me with regard to what had happened to her husband. According to her, Tito is being stubborn. I mean, he gets grumpy and annoyed over small things, which makes him hard to handle and take care of. He also doesn't want to wear a diaper. My mom is in her senior years and taking care of her husband is hard for her. She is also taking meds for her high blood pressure.
They are both caretakers on a big farm. That has been their job for more than 20 years. After my mom's boss died, there has been talk that the wife of his boss will sell the farm and my mom will be compensated. And now that this happened to my stepfather, there's a big possibility that their boss will look for someone to take over their job because, obviously, my mom cannot do their work properly.
So I told her if that happened, she could use the money to build a small house for both of them on a piece of land that she owns in Bataan. She could raise pigs, and we, as their children, would help them as much as we could. And I also told her to look for someone among her husband's relatives that would help her take care of him.
But Mom told me that there is no one among her husband's kin that is available. Or maybe she doesn't like the idea. Knowing her, she doesn't like other people inside her house unless it's us.
If only I could take them both to our house, but having two sick people in one house is a burden, especially if only one person is working. It would be hard for all of us.
And now that mom is being stubborn as well, it really bothers me. Like, what should I do? Both of my sisters are working as well; one is in Hong Kong and the youngest is in PAF.
Me and my sisters agreed to help them as much as we could, to support them. So I hope our mom will stop being stubborn as well and agrees to what our plan is.

Not So Late Night Thoughts
**Warning: This is going to be a short one.**
I can't sleep yet. Every time my husband is not at home, it is hard for me to sleep soundly. My mind is constantly on guard, on high alert. Just a little noise could disrupt my sleep. So while I'm on guard, why not make use of it? So I decided to write whatever came to my mind.
The reason why my husband could not make it home was because they needed to finish their job tomorrow. The building should be finished from top to bottom since it has to be turned over to the DPWH. He called me earlier to let me know that he couldn't come home because of that reason. What worries me is that he has no spare clothes for changing, and he had only 500 pesos, which I gave to him this morning. He told me not to worry because he is used to not taking a bath daily, lol! And according to him, that's the life of a construction worker. And we both laugh.
Moving on, I received a call from my mother this morning. She said that her husband would be discharged today. The doctor said that he had surpassed the critical stage of a stroke. And what actually hit my stepfather was a "heat stroke," not the usual stroke that a person could suffer due to high blood pressure. And it all answered our curiosity because, according to his family, they have no history of stroke or high blood pressure.
The good news is that the philhealth covered their hospital bill, which is worth 56 thousand pesos. One of the things that concerned me was the hospital bill. We can't ask for help from his relatives because most of them are also down on one's luck. So when my mother told us that she could use her philhealth, we were relieved. I called them the moment they arrived home. I talked to my stepfather, although he could not speak. I just talked and talked, and he just listened. To be honest, I don't feel comfortable with him still. We often fought back when I was young. There was even an incident when I had to hit him back because he hit me. It's not just me that feels this way; both of my sisters do too. But because our mother loves him, we have no choice but to respect her decision and accept him. We just tried to be civilized every time he was with us. Anyway, we are happy now that he is OK and at home already because our mom won't have to worry every time.
Okay guys, that would be all. I have to wrap this up because my dogs are barking crazily outside. I have to check what made them crazy. I will go outside with a broomstick in my hand! lol!
Thanks for keeping me company. Until next time!

Sa Meron O Wala?
Hello everyone! How's your Wednesday?
As for me, my day was quite good actually. We started our day by going to the beach and witnessed the beauty of the sunrise. So ako naman eh why not, hehe.
This is one of the shots that I took this morning, with husband on the left side, hehe.
I went to the hospital around 4 in the afternoon. Plano ko talaga eh magpunta mag-isa pero nagulat ako kasi before 4 pm eh umuwe si asawa at sabi nya eh ihahatid nya ako, then balik sya sa work. Then sunduin nya ako after ng check- up ko. So ayun nga, after nya ako ihatid eh balik na sya sa work.
I was asked kung may appointment ba ako kasi kahapon, si Dra. Jordan lang ang may mga pasyente. I said yes and so they proceeded na sa pagkuha ng blood pressure and timbang. My bp was 110/70 and ang timbang ko naman is 66 kg. Nag gain na ako ng weight kasi noong naospital ako, my weight is 59 kg lang.
After that, doon na ako pinaghintay sa clinic ng dr. There were 7 patients before me so while waiting for my turn eh nagbasa muna ako ng articles sa read.cash. I think nakaanim ako na article that time.
So when my turn came, Dra. welcomed me with a huge smile and she asked me how I was. I said I am ok and then I handed her the result of my RNS. After nya makita eh sinabi na sa akin na medyo mataas na nga ang nawawalang chemicals sa katawan ko so dapat eh ingat talaga. Then tinanong nya ako if may iba pa ba akong nararamdaman.
Kailangan kasi malaman if meron ba akong Thymoma or bukol sa Thymus gland ko. if meron makita need yun tanggalin ng isang Thoracic surgeon. And it will cost a lot. It will also be done in one of the hospital in Iloilo City.
After hearing that, sabi ko, ***"Sana doc walang makitang Thymoma sa akin."***
Kasi kapag may thymoma na nakita sa ct scan mo, need yun alisin. At kapag yun ay inalis, gagaling ka. Di ka na need uminom ng gamot. Or kung uminom man eh minimal na lang. Kumbaga alalay na lang sa katawan mo. At kapag wala naman nakita sayo, walang aalisin sayo, walang gastos PERO for life ka iinom ng gamot at ganyan ang magiging sitwasyon mo for life. Pero hindi lahat ng MGP eh may thymoma, so sana meron or sana walang makita sayo."***
After hearing that, I was torn between sana Meron, sana Wala, hehe. So I will let fate decide kung ano ba talaga..
Before going home, binigyan ako ng reseta ng doctor. Dinagdag nya sa maintenance ko eh steroids which is Prednisone, 6 pcs. na 30 mg and 14 pcs na 20 mg, good for ! week. Binigyan nya din ako ng request form for Chest Ct Scan. And I told her na di ko agad magawa yun kasi mangangalap pa ako ng fund.
And that's it, naupdate ko na kayo kahit ayaw nyo pa, hahaha!
Thank you guys for reading, until next time!

What's keeping me busy?
Hello everyone, miss me? Char! I've been so not in the mood to keep updated both in read.cash and noise.cash. I have my reasons; one of them was the incident with my stepfather. He suffered from a stroke the day after my appointment in Iloilo. I was so surprised when I received the news from my sister because my stepfather is fit. He exercises daily and watches the food that he eats. So we were all surprised, even my mother.
According to her, they were having coffee on that day, it was early morning. And then she went to the comfort room and when she went out, she saw her husband lying on the ground. She rushed to him and asked what happened but her husband was unresponsive and could not move his body. He was still conscious at that time and according to my mother, her husband could not recognize her. She asked for help from her neighbor and someone called an ambulance and was rushed to the nearest hospital.
And that was when my stress started. I was not stressing that my stepfather suffered from a stroke(sama ko ba?) It's not that I don't care at all but I know that he can survive because he is strong and fit. What stresses me is my mom because she has high blood pressure and is taking maintenance for it. She kept on crying and crying and worries too much. It was given because her husband is sick but the fact that she has high blood stresses me out. So I keep reminding her to just calm down because it would be a bigger problem if she too will suffer a stroke. My sisters and I are not beside her so no one would look after them if that happens.
So I keep calling her to make her feel that she is not alone. I may be not by her side but my presence is tru calls that I made.
The hospital where my stepfather was admitted is a public hospital but according to mom, the facilities are the same as the private hospitals. She cannot look after her husband inside because she is already a senior citizen and it is not allowed. My stepdad's relatives are all in Leyte. So we've been looking for someone to take care of our stepfather inside the hospital but no one is available. We have found someone but she demanded us to pay 700 pesos per day. Grabe managa di ba?
So my mom said that it is okay if no one is looking after her husband inside because the nurses and doctors are monitoring his condition round the clock and updating her via a phone call every time. She just goes there for his needs like medicines, food, and clothing.
As of this moment, his condition is stable. He regained his consciousness after being unconscious for 3 days. But he could not move the left side part of his body, from head to toe, and could not speak properly. But according to the doctor, he has a bigger chance of recovering because he is still young. He is 10 years younger than my mom. But of course, it also depends on his will to recover.
My sisters and I are doing our best to help our mom regarding the expenses. And their employer is also helping with their expenses. And mom told me this morning that one of her friends will assist her to ask for financial assistance from their local government.
You really can't tell if someone is healthy or not by their physical look. As I said, my stepfather is physically fit. Like muscles and all but he suffered from a stroke. This incident made me realize how annual check-up is important.
Speaking of check-ups, I have a scheduled check-up tomorrow at 5 in the afternoon. I thought it would be the same time as my previous check-ups. I guess my doctor is so busy and isiningit lang nya ako sa schedule nya.
And that's it guys, this is the reason for my inactivity these past few days but I will try to keep up, to read all your articles, and going back to my goal which is an article a day.
