Cheers on a bonding Wednesday
It is just the sequel celebration of MACHUA's birthday.
*It is drafted almost a week already and because of business and a lot of things to do I already get no time to finish my started article*.
Since the group was not getting complete with the whole week's work due to one of us just coming to work on Mondays and Wednesdays our friends decided to schedule a bonding last Wednesday.
We came to a plan to have a jamming session after the last call of all the services.
We extended our stay at the spa even though closing was around 11 pm. We had it at 11:30 lol.
The day before Wednesday they planned the food to be cooked and the drinks that we going to buy.
Our Dakilang ina suggested adobong chicken feet for the viand and Machua brought shanghai lumpia also.
When 10 pm was about to finish, our workmates who is free from work went to buy the drinks and some chips.
Since we only had only an hour and a half before closing we simply started the jamming as if we are just eating our dinner.
They pour the mojito gin into a pitcher and distributed a plastic cup with crash ice to each of us lol.
One of our workmates drinks her gin for the first time. She becomes the center of a laugh trip because of her expression lol. She doesn't want to take the shot but we insisted until she gives in and accepted the challenge.
We missed being together since Jheng one of the therapists just came to work twice a week due to personal reasons.
Luckily, no one gets drunk that night for we only finish one bottle of gin and 2 small bottles of beer, we are 8 and only the food was all finished.
I'm a bit tipsy and I guess they feel the same way too. Badeth even had to join her friends too at her home for they had jamming out there too.
Our first-time friend face turned reddish right after her first shot and you can't paint her distorted facial expressions because of the gin taste lol.
Anyway, we had a good time even though at a short moment. We laugh out loud over simple jokes. The bond between us becomes stronger and happier.
I almost didn't even notice that September is almost at its end, 3 days more to go and October is fast approaching.
2022 was in its last quarter already but I still feel far from what I am aiming for😥.
Hopefully, before the year-end, I can accomplish even a small portion of these dreams.

The Kontra bida's birthday
September 19-4
Kontra is a Tagalog term for against. We mostly use this term when someone is against us whether by opinion or action.
In Philippine movies, we call the villain actors kontrabida for they always go against the lead actors.
We also use this term as a light joke when dealing with our friends. ( 'wag ka nang kontrabida sa diskarte ko, makikinabang ka rin naman. Lol )
And speaking of kontrabida's birthday, she is our not-so-new workmate which is transferred to us from the other branch.
Workers in the other branch, branded her as kontrabida as she is allegedly forwarding misinformation to our Boss.
The small conflict that is happening in the spa which is supposed to stay only between them was reaching the knowledge of the owner although it was already settled. And they accused her as the culprit which is true also.
This situation triggers one of the pioneers to interrogate her resulting in a heated situation in the vicinity every time they meet.
She reasons that she only informs the cashier (sister of our boss)of what she knows.
The tension in their branch escalates that made her resign from work.
A couple of months later our boss informs us that she is joining our branch.
We are not happy about it for we know how she is being the kontrabida in the other branch.
In short, she came to work with us in the following weeks.
She came and the first day was a bit awkward for we also observed our new workmate.
However, one of my friends (he girl) talk to her and cited all our rules, the friendship that we had, and her alleged issue of being the sumbungera of the other branch.
The newcomer defended herself saying many reasons as if all of the workers in the other branch united against her where in fact she only relayed what she learned from one of them.
That is where I realized that she is the kind of a gossiper too lol.
As time passes by, every day was kind of a good vibe with her, the kontrabida effect on her was none since day one.
We treat, she treats and we shared foods during lunch and even at snack time.
She even gives giveaways to some of us. We never hide things when we don't like something from one of us. Citing it properly is our best solution to settle things.
Maybe this manner was out in the other branch which is why they had many conflicts with each other.
Now kontrabida turns to Machua (thunders)lol, but at least we can work successfully and side by side without any hesitation.
Machua celebrated her birthday last September 16. Wish her a happy birthday🎂. Hope she has more birthdays celebrated with us as her workmates lol.

Jillian's birthday and some random questions

Hello lovely read cashers, how are you all?
I was away from the platform and unable to publish an article for 5 days now.
I was not in good shape last Wednesday until Thursday because of body pain, fatigue succumbed my system which is why I decided to take a rest for a while.
By Friday I resume going to work since I am a no-work no paid employee lol.
Anyways, I have a few questions here to answer which I gathered from @CryptoMan4 with his permission of course.

1. What do you think about cryptocurrency?
When I first encounter the word cryptocurrency my noob mentality about the crypto world gets curious. As soon as I heard about Bitcoin I hesitated in engaging people who are talking about it.
The reason was some news of scammed people were babbling on the internet investing their money in Bitcoin and getting no return.
It turns out that these people whom they trusted with their money were the ones who the scammer and only used bitcoin as bait to get people's interest.
But as time passes by many become more interested in crypto until someone introduces BCH to me and taught me how to accumulate a fraction of its tru noise.cash from then on I become an avid believer and supporter of it. Actually, BCH is the first ever cryptocurrency in my wallet.
I can say cryptocurrency can be a big help. Although I am just a noob on this wide crypto world I think if I learned more about it I can benefit from its full potential.
1. Are you married or single?
This is too personal lol.
What I can say is I am single but have taken lels 🙈🙊.
3. How Should We Choose Friends?
I would prefer to know first the person before deciding if he/she can be a good friend.
There are instances that the first impression was wrong, I mean at the first meeting you can't totally figure out a person's personality unless you are acquainted with them for a matter of time.
I'd prefer a friend with a word of honor. I want a friend that will not bite me from the back. It is better to speak up with me about whatever was wrong to settle things right.
A simple trusted, and jolly friend was like a treasure indeed.
4. Are you reliable?
I can say yes! I am reliable in terms of moral support but not in monetary things lol.
Kidding aside, you can trust your deepest secret in me even the skeleton in your closet I can keep them safe in the haven of my sanctuary ehee.
I can give you comforting words if you needed them so. I can listen to your unending litany of complaints if you want to vent out. I am your supporter, encourager, cheerer, adviser, and a lot more as long as it is for the good.

This little cutie pie celebrated her 2nd natal day today September 12.
She grows so fast, she's still a baby last year but now look at her.
She is the daughter of our receptionist and nail technician at the spa.
She is the apple of our eyes in the spa whenever she stays there.

She said she didn't want her kids to share

Happy Wednesday everyone. It's nightfall on my side of the world now.
How are you doing so far awesome read cashers? I hope everything went well with your endeavors.
The word *SHARE* to most of us indicates how thoughtful every individual is toward others.
I can say also that ***sharing*** is ***caring*** as some of us practice and is known as a sign of thoughtfulness and kindness.
But in a video that I watched recently the definition of share was debunked by the uploader. I mean she has a different meaning in terms of sharing. Please refer to the link below for the video.

She said instead of sharing things like playthings, don't tell your kid to share instead wait for their turn to use the thing that they want, she also stated an example like when using a printer or something like that.
Her reason was to avoid the certain negative feeling of both parties.
I can't say that her thoughts about it are wrong but in my opinion, sharing can be different in meaning in different circumstances.
For example in food, how can you tell your kid to give some of his food to his or her friend? Isn't it you will surely say "share some of your food my dear" or "can you share some of your food with your playmate?". Or what would you rather do, wait for your kid to finish before sharing some? And if that is the case, all the kids have surely all done by that time and no more is interested anymore in what your kid wants to share lol.
I can say that the word ***share*** senses like endearment towards your kid and not just a plain command in which sometimes the kids can't connect immediately or can confuse them with your attitude as if you care more about the other kids instead.
Another thing that a kid can share with was when there is enough space on their bench or chair. With the right approach to your kid, you can let them share without feeling frustration or anger toward the other. By this means, I could say friendship will be built between the children.
Of course, sharing from the heart is the sweetest I mean without expecting in return.
Share what you can afford, don't share beyond limits.
Finally, sharing is caring as long as it is not abused.

Some screams are unheard
September 5-1
One time while scrolling on FB I bumped into a post on a page whose advocacies were to encourage people to go vegan.
In the picture of the post was a caught fish maybe in a barrel or basin which one of the fish was with mouth wide open as if it is struggling to breathe, which is for sure it is because fishes being removed from the water feels like drowning like humans and other animals that drown in the water.
Based on the caption of the photo fishes has a life too and can feel pain. Their cries or screams can't be heard since there are no sounds were produce by them, especially the small ones. Although unheard, their plight was noticed by the concerned souls.
These organizations express what the unheard voices can't voice out.
I am not a total vegan and I consumed meat and fish too as part of my daily diet.
Although I feel pity for the farm animals that are being slaughtered for humans and other animals' consumption I can't promise to become a full vegan individual since I am depending my food on what is available in my budget and fish is sometimes the most affordable to buy.
We can compare the above situation too to some of our kinsmen for being muffled and silent because of fear. Although, they want to speak for the truth and defend themselves they can't.
Many reasons cause this silence but most of it is a lack of power and strength and being paid and threatened to do so.
Sadly, even the person himself can't decide when to speak to the fear to compromise his life and family's safety.
We can't deny that greed for power and wealth are the roots of these evil deeds.

Costumers are not always right

When we are in a business rendering services and accommodating customers we always say that we should deliver the best quality of service we have. We always think and consider the best for our customers for them to be satisfied.

In my field of work, I can say that I have faced a lot of customers type already. Although our's is not on office types and not the high-end kind of jobs that accommodates VIPs and the likes.
In entertaining our clients we should have tons of patience. We should always be ready in dealing with the different attitudes and manners of the people who avail of our service.
There was this incident recently where a group of customers reserved a slot early in the night. Their availed service was the afternoon promo for four pax.
They came 40 minutes late on their schedule. Fortunately, the client ahead of them was finished a bit late too, 30 minutes before their arrival. See, very long time to adjust on our part right?
But, we still accommodate them for we can't do anything anymore. We are not able to entertain another client for the next batch is already scheduled too, our receptionist just talked to the later batch to adjust their time.
The lady customer enters the spa with her family pointing out the things she needed to attain in their availed massage.
Here comes the scene. We asked what was their service to confirm before doing the massage.
She answered.
" I booked a two promo for the four of us. I already told your boss earlier. How come you don't know?" She smirked.
She even requested things that are out of their availed massage.
My workmate told her the things that were only included in the promo. We can see the disgusting expression on her so we tried to offer a level up if she needs to but she disagreed.
I also explained to her that we are just confirming for all we know, they only availed one promo for four people. The thing is the receptionist didn't fully understand our boss's message so she ended up booking another client 1 hour after the said client that we are about to do when we asked. But when I check the group message the client was right.
So another adjustment was done then we proceed.
After two hours the services were done fairly according to what service they availed. (A soft Swedish massage for two hours)
They left us 50 PHP each as a t-i-p.
A few minutes after they left here comes the complaint.
She accused us all of leaving them multiple times while doing the service, and that we used our phones while massaging them. That we are talking etc. etc.
Our side.
Three of us go to the toilet with the knowledge of our designated client, we ask permission first before we leave.
Regarding the phone, we used our phones to update the time because there is no wall clock in the massage area.
We do one-handed massage one at a time to avoid the risk of hand cramps and to relax the other hand for a while. Two hours massage is not easy especially when you control your strength.
I think she complains because she did not get what she wants out of her availed service. She can have all the means to tell her therapist and see everything around her while we are doing the service. But ended up accusing us of baseless things.
The massage room was well lighted and had open curtains for they have two kids who are roaming around, and playing on their phones while waiting for them. My workmates even let them occupy the vacant bed to make them comfortable though the waiting area was downstairs.
Our boss confronted us with tru messages which I respectfully denied and express our side.
What makes us sad was that our lady boss sided quickly with the complainant without asking our side.
Not all complaints and accusations are true and relevant.
There is no certainty in the saying that customers are always right.
Some clients are just rude and use the term to show they are more privileged than the worker which is annoying.
Out of our hundreds of handled clients, this is the first time we get complained lol.

Just Random
August 23-7
It was all wet because of the typhoon. Since yesterday the rain started to pour already.
Last night I'm afraid to get wet while on my way to my partner's meeting point. So I earnestly wish that the rain would stop and it did but the case is I missed my drop point and ended a few kilometers away from it lol.
I tried to wait for another ride back to it but it take so long for me to stand along the highway so I decided to just walk my way.
Luckily, as I have said, the rain stop already, and only the wet pavement was left with rainwater.
After 10 to 12 minutes of a not-so-fast walk, I finally reach my destination.
I should have not gone back there anymore for I can message my partner to just pick me up to where I dropped off but what motivate me to go back was the cat that I was feeding every time I stand by there in the area.
I just could not ignore her waiting for me without checking the feline and giving her some food. I was there already and a walk back would be worth it after a tummy will fill even just for the night.
And as I was approaching the area catching my breath the cat was silently sitting on the stair where I usually sit and feed her.
She was so happy seeing me and began to snug and ask for food as I walk towards her.
Maybe you are wondering why I could not take her home. I have a lot on my plate already, they are 12 and counting, and I can't for more. If I only had the means to support and adopt every astray why not right? Hope you understand my part.
*I LET THEM GO*
It's about cats again. The other day I let my two cutie pies be adopted by my workmate.
She asks for 1 kitten only but I told her that she could get a pair so that the other may not get bored and lonely and she agreed.
So, last Sunday I brought the two kitties and she took them home. She updated me that the two were doing well.
*TODAY'S UPDATE*
I was not able to go to work today due to the bad weather brought by the typhoon.
I have tried to get ready late in the morning when I wake up but as the rain pours unceasingly I decided not to.
It's no use for I know the area that we are going to pass will not passable for that situation. Marikina is a flooded area so I better told my partner not to go.
The result is, that I ended up curling with my pillow and blanket for the weather made me lazy to do things lol.
But tonight I'm doing the laundry while writing this. I feel energized already after a couple of hours of dozing in the afternoon.

Ghost month August
August 16, 17-6
It's Tuesday and the month of August is at its mid-date.
Maybe some of us are wondering why August is a ghost month for some people.
In my opinion and own interpretation, the reason why August is such was that this month of the year seems the tightest season (financially).
For some reason, I could say the tightest because most of us especially the lower class of society where I belong, whatever we earned and save would be all used up, and some are tending to have debt and end up having more problems financially.
It is still clear to my memory that in the past few August I experience things that are not well. Since I decided to live with my partner things have changed. I observed that during August we are down financially. There was this occasion that he left his first job and find another in a company, at first few weeks everything went well but as soon as August came by he was rushed to the emergency hospital because he was found by riders motionless beside the street. The good thing is he recovered quickly tru the quick response of the hospital staff, it turns out that his allergy attacked, while he was walking on the highway, that is why he passed out. Since then he can't find a good job anymore to support us (I was not yet working during that time, I was just new to the city life, ignorante ba lol).
But before September ended he finally found another job to work on.
It was August also when a typhoon devastated us. We were from the province where we attend the wake of my partner's grandmother and back in the city with the bad weather. We arrived at our boarding house roofless and almost all our belongings were wet from rainwater. That was one of my not-so-good experiences in August.
Back when I was a kid, my family diligently gather every grain of rice from the farmlands and put it together in a granary. We use to consume these for the coming months until the next crops are ready to harvest again. But as August is approaching some folks from the village started to ask for some extra grain from my mom to work for.
In the village, no certain work to earn a living aside from cultivating the farm. That is also depending if you have a lot of it to plant plenty of rice. But if you have less you only gain less as well, so in the ending, folks tend to travel to another village to work on the farm of other people in exchange for rice grains.
The harvest in the summer was likely cannot provide for the whole rainy season. That is why when August came the rice grains are already drained that making the village people fall into debt.
One more thing why August is a ghost month is because some people consider this as such a festival correct me if I'm wrong. When I once was a babysitter for a Chinese family in the city. They were good and the madam was a doctor, it was August when I started to work for them, then one afternoon I saw the madam burning a yellow paper (fake money)on a large tin, to my curiosity I ask her what was that she replied to me that those are paper money which they burn for the ghost of their ancestors if I recall it perfectly, and by that, they will avoid such misfortunes.

In my work, we consider August as the lonely month of income for us because we seldom reach our quotas, unlike the previous and coming months.

Anyway, I am not saying that August was bad, no it's not. Because despite some unfortunate events happening during this month, there are more immeasurable blessings that happened too to anyone of us. Maybe it was just a coincidence that an unpleasant event happens during August because of the rainy weather.

Weird/scary and hilarious dreams,
August 14-5
Saturday is almost at its end again and in a few minutes from now (11:10 pm) Sunday is fast approaching. Maybe by tomorrow is the publishing of this article for I am writing the first part while riding this roller coaster jeep heading to our meet-up with my partner.

Since August came I had this dream about my family, not the living ones but those who are gone from this life already.
I dream like they were still alive talking with me and doing their usual things. Though in my dreams I know that they were dead already I'm not afraid of interacting with them, especially my mother and father.
One night I had this dream of my Uncle who was gone a few years ago, he is the one who help me financially in my college days. In my dreams, he was talking with me saying "you saw me at last" he was with his wife standing behind him like what they used to when visiting us at home, what makes this conversation weird was that I suddenly cried out asking him how he can rise, my mind was confused but despite that, I still told him that my father was gone too already. I felt like it was not a dream at all, I cried with all my heart that even though I already woke up I'm still sobbing. I woke up with tears in my eyes at that moment. I don't get any answer from him though.
My father's birthday was last August 10, it's his first birthday since he was gone. This makes me sad, I think the frequent thought of them causes these weird dreams sometimes. I missed them so much. It's nostalgic since the rainy season again. Papa always reminds us to be careful in riding the motorcycle going to and fro to work especially when raining for the paved road was way slippery when it's wet. He never missed checking on us when he was still around.
The pain of his demised still lingers, Mama and Papa's absence and the fact that I frequently think about what if they are still there perhaps life is happier. I guess this causes those dreams. My subconscious filled the longing of my heart to at least see them though just in a dream.
The punch wall dreamer
Way back in my college days, my friend (now sister-in-law) and an Uncle (a bit older than me), and I were staying in one boarding house downtown. One night all the others were already fast asleep while I and my friend reviewing our lessons the Uncle suddenly shout saying "oh Gloria". Upon hearing those we burst out laughing because we know he is just dreaming again, he frequently does that when in deep sleep. After a couple of minutes, we heard another bang on the wall followed by a commotion inside the Uncle's room. It turns out that he almost punched the person next to him who was sleeping, luckily he hit the wall instead lol. The Uncle turns wild and weird when dreaming lol.
The talker dreamer
Have you known someone that is talking while sleeping? As I mentioned above, the Uncle was one of them, he has siblings who are a talker while sleeping too. If you happen to hear them you surely burst laughing too. My two youngest brother has this too, sometimes you could tell that they are in an argument inside their dream tru the way they speak and act. Ugh! You never want to be beside them for they might make you a punching bag and hit you unknowingly.
I also remember when I was a kid, maybe around 6 or 7 years old I unintentionally bite my cousin who was sleeping beside me, because in my dream I was furiously fighting with someone lol.

This seems easy at the same time hard to achieve in some instances. It is easy to say than done especially when you are in a situation where you need to be tough so that no one will bully you.

This is a must to do for this world that we are living in is full of pain and misery. Although, inestimable good things were happens too along with all that.
When we reach adulthood, I mean responsible adulting we may experience a lot of pain, whether from home or the people we thought could be our leaning stone, from school, workplace or even from those we once loved and cared for. Despite being pained we should always choose to move on and use those bitter experiences to grow in life. Through that mindset, we fully gain the true essence and meaning of the quote above.
Those happenings that pained us should use to fuel us to strive more.

Indeed! No one has a perfect life though. All of us had our fair share of life difficulties and serenity.
We might witness some people that seem to have a perfect life, are always happy interacting with others, and seems worried less. But somehow that kind of person had the most horrible struggle in life. They just know how to balance things and use each circumstance on their behalf.

In life, no one is exempted from experiencing hardship. We have our own battle to survive, we may clash into failure but be kind to ourselves for we are only human to commit mistakes. Trials and errors are part of every individual's success.
If we are hard treating ourselves because of unfortunate that had happened, we only pushing ourselves to the edge of grudge and regret that might damage our morale.
Scathe and scratches are part of the journey, they will improve our way of dealing with this world's unending trouble. So we should not blame ourselves for some failures we must applaud instead and be thankful that we are alive and can take another chance to do it better.

It saved me again

No matter how I am willing to write and suppose to publish every day, my human body gives in multiple times. My thought is willing but the mind shuts up and my brain cells won't cooperate anymore.
So to catch up a little I opt to the rescue of my saved articles which were the works of some admired and well writers on this platform.

1.) ***What does your perfect day look like? When would you say you had a great day?***
I would say that it's my perfect day if I wake up well and good. Having to see my cat's hilarious yet cute faces staring at me waiting for me to get up to feed them. And to end the day with a smile though tired and drained from the everyday hustle to provide for daily needs.
Knowing that my siblings and families were at their best makes the mode more perfectly made too.
I would say a great day if I survived the day productive despite the storm and struggles. I can't just measure a great day alone with happiness, luxury, foodie, or just being with our dearest friends and family. Because each struggle that you survive with or without your loved ones has a big impact to achieve a perfectly great day.
2.) ***If you could have one superpower, what would it be? Why that superpower?***
If only I could be as badass as our original creator of this blog in dealing with life issues maybe I should have not wished for anything as such a superpower ability anymore lol. Unfortunately, I was so very fragile in dealing with things on my own. I am so weak in this world's unending fight to survive. Miraculously, despite being so low and weakling I still manage to push through life with the help of the people around me, I learn from them, and I took side comments as a stepping stone although it hurt deep inside. The thing is it helps me to improve.
How I wish to have a hand in time so that I can be able to reset what was done wrong to correct it so that the future will surely be bright.
***3.) If you had to relocate, where would you least like to live?***
Oh, I want to be back home, in nature with my immediate family. I loved the mountain, the fresh water, and the spring. Living in a village with a simple life is what I am wishing for. All I need is to put up a small business to support my needs if ever I go back home. Manifesting, all of this will happen.
Let's go and live at the top of the mountain overlooking downtown and the beauty of nature.
***4.) What's the right age to get married?***
What it should be? Or is there any right age to follow before getting married?
When I was younger, I told myself to settle in my mid-twenties, as others say is the best time to get married. My problem is no one offered me a wedding ring during those times lol lol. Besides, I was not yet fully in the event of my singlehood. I want to spend more being a go-lucky gal that no one will interrupt me in all that I want to do. So, ending in my early 30's then that I decided to live with my partner up to now.
But I do agree with all the opinions that I have read regarding this question that stability both financially and emotionally is the most to consider before you get married, age is just a number, and it is not to measure one person when is the right time to settle down.

I hope all of you are in good hands and doing well whatever our task and wherever we are in this universe.
My article tonight is a sequel to little Emy's childhood rough journey in this world.
Not so long when Emy was taken care of by her good lady neighbor, the lady got an illness that led her to be brought by the family downtown for a check-up and hospitalized.
Emy was entrusted to the lady's brother inlaw with his wife who happen to be the caretaker of the house while the family was away.
Unfortunately, the couple neglected little Emy. She experiences being hungry and just eats a little or eat a leftover from the couple. She is not being taken care of as the lady requested her brother-in-law to do so. They left enough rice for them to consume, viand is not a problem in the village because there is a lot if you are not lazy to fetch as the lady has a lot of vegetable plants too aside from those you naturally found in nature such as shell and fish from the river.
The news of Emy's being neglected reached the lady and she is bothered about the kid's situation and asks one of the villagers to check about the kid and if it is necessary she will be brought downtown too.
Then one day a villager came down and told that little Emy was taken by them and lived in their house, this is good news to the lady.
Time went by and the lady get well a little and decided to go home together with her husband to check for their belongings in the village.
Upon arriving, Emy went to the lady's house to say hello. Here the little girl's confession shook the lady's heart.
According to Emy, the couple to whom she is entrusted treats her badly, the wife told her that she is not a part of the family and that she should go with her real relatives.
One relative arrived and force her to go with her uncle, her father's brother. The thing is this brother is like a demon who destroys the girl's innocence. Alas! The lady gets furious upon knowing what was happened to her and told Emy to sue his Uncle to get justice for what he did but Emy refused. She sobs saying that the culprit scared her and that he will kill her if she spills what happened. She even wishes to just die.
The lady comforted little Emy telling her that death is not the solution to her problem.
Although, no case is filed the lady shares with her husband about Emy's plight. The husband decided to confront Emy's uncle. As they expected the uncle denied and even said that Emy is lying and that she has a big mouth saying impossible things. since then they want the kid to be brought to the other uncle living in another village to live there. They said she can go to school if she is with them because they are near the school area.
Although the lady wants Emy to stay again with them she has no right at all because the kid was already threatened and has no will to say what she wants.
They parted ways again as the lady was being brought back downtown for her medical treatment. Unfortunately, only a couple of months passed she succumbed to her illness and passed away.
During the burial, Emy wasn't there. She is away with her uncle in the nearby village already, she never glances anymore at the lady who shows her love and care.
When some relatives came down for the burial where Emy's mother's family was living the lady's husband told them to take Emy immediately from the uncle in the other village for some news of maltreatment reached them. According to some concerned people from the area, poor Emy was like a housemaid in her uncle's house, doing errands that her body can't hardly handle. The uncle's wife was also unfair, the fault of her kids falls to Emy that the little girl suffered beating and spanking from her. According to the source, she does even not go to school as they promised.
Fortunately, after a couple of weeks, the news of Emy's rescue was successful, upon hearing the good news the lady's family is happy despite mourning.
Years pass by she and her mother have reunited once again and lived together. Her mother and husband have no kids so Emy just completes their family.
Emy was a grown woman now, independent and have a life on her own.
*Maybe you are wondering why Emy's rescue takes so long. I think because of miscommunication. According to them (Emy's mother's side) the uncle by which Emy was maltreated the girl doesn't want to be with her mother's family, aside from that Emy was not familiar with them since she was born. It takes her (Emy) to decide too long. I can't blame her for that too because she is just a kid back then.*

My undecided(s)
August 3-1
Hello to all of you!
It's August 3rd and it's Wednesday and I consider as 3rd day of the week too especially to working peeps out there.
'Ber month is fast approaching for the next month is September already. Indeed time flies so fast.
And now I am still undecided about some personal matters that I am facing and should have done ahead of time. Sometimes procrastination causes me not to set my final decisions to such matters too. That's bad of me.
On July 3rd week was my youngest brother's youngest daughter's birthday. Since I send a small amount to the other first birthday celebrant which is the older siblings I have to send some too for the youngest. I texted my brother to spare me for not sending it immediately because I am out of the budget that week. I told him to send it this week. Now, the case is the money is already provided but that means my allowance was cut low that I even can't save for this week. I am now undecided if I will send the money or talk again to my brother that I can't fulfill my promise this week. Besides that my extra work last week and today was scarce, no one called or chatted with me for home service so I badly needed that amount for my daily expenses while waiting for our weekly salary.
Hmmmn, if I am only employed with a big salary maybe this matter is not a problem anymore. But I'm still thankful of course that I have work to support myself and sometimes I can extend help to my siblings.
Another undecided mind that I was supposed to conquer with positivity was whether should I remain hopeful in our way of living or try another pattern of work to upgrade my life. Until now these brain cells of mine can't decide well. So many reasons arose every time that I started to inquire about my prospective work shift.
Many what if's are coming to my mind such as what if I can't pass the interview, what if the work is more stressful than I think, and what if my future colleague was not nice since I am a newbie. And a lot more what if lol.
For now, I force myself to settle this undecided mind to the present situation. Whatever may be the result of my plans in the making, on this I will base my final decision. I just hope to have a beautiful outcome soon.
Hey guys, I should have published a continuation of Emy, because this should be a series of her not-so-good childhood story but unfortunately, this undecided mind can't think of a nice title for the next episode lol.
If you happen to read my article about Emy you could easily foresee the life of a kid without the guidance and protection of a parent. She is so vulnerable in that stage that even the so could family tried to harass this poor girl.
Next time I will present to you the next episode, I won't make a promise for I don't know when will be the spare time for me to construct the right words for this one but I will surely make it and share it here.

Small things that I ignore to do then I regret a lot later.

It's Friday midnight now here in my part of the universe lol. (Friday-Sunday draft)
Hello, beautiful people of this awesome platform. How do ya all?
The absence of Rusty from most of my previous articles will not hinder me in writing and sharing with you my thought and experiences. So, this time I will elaborate on the few things that I failed to do and regret not doing in any way later.
1. Not bringing my umbrella when going out.
When I was preparing to go out specifically going to work I have this attitude to remove the things in my bag that I think have no use for the day. If I saw the weather is sunny I am confident that there is no rain the whole day and this causes me to leave my umbrella at home.
Then while on the motorcycle ride the weather suddenly becomes gloomy and the dark clouds accumulated and dark ones appear suddenly then there the rain came without hesitation. To this time and situation, I regret a lot why I did not bring my umbrella with me lol.
2. To pee a few seconds before a long ride.
You definitely laugh at me for this I'm sure lol. It happened that I regularly drank a large glass of warm water when I woke up from night sleep which causes me to urinate from time to time. 2 to 3 times I used the comfort room before leaving the house.
One time my partner hurriedly called me from outside and told me to hurry up because we are leaving right away and because of that I forgot to use the toilet before leaving. I thought I could hold on until I reach my work to release the unnecessary water in my system, but unfortunately, I did not hold on so long which resulted in me cutting my trip and stopping at one of the famous fast food chains in town to urinate lol. Thankfully, there is no line of people in the toilet at that time. Just imagine how hard to hold your bursting urinary tract while on the line for the toilet lol.
3. To eat before a church service
One time when I was rushing for the last hour of church service I forget to eat at least a snack before going. In the church, while the pastor is preaching my tummy is also rumbling because of hunger lol. The worst is I began to sweat cold endlessly and seems my surroundings become blurry already, so what I did is close my eyes and stay intact in my seat until everything is done. It turns out that I nap on and off during the whole service and my mind can't concentrate on the biblical texts that the preacher is reading and explaining. If only I eat even a piece of biscuit before going maybe I did not experience that horrible feeling. Since then I never leave for church without anything in my tummy to digest.
4. Ignoring my father's invitation to have a short vacation in the province.
Seems this is so simple but this one is my biggest regret after all.
October 2021, my sister called me and told me that my father want to talk to me. He immediately asks me to go home for a while to witness the halving of our small land upon my siblings and me. But because of the pandemic ( restrictions are still heightened during that time ) and the fare going to the province was very expensive I just told my father to proxy me, that I trust everything to him for my part of the lot. I heard him sigh saying that even a day or two of vacay could do if I can't leave my work too long. But because of too many obstacles plus I have not enough budget for the travel that makes I ignored my father's request but I promise him that I will go home in December that same year.
Unfortunately, the worst comes ahead of time, he passed away next to my sister-in-law. It's December, the first week of December. Yes, I did go home to my lifeless father's burial😭. I fulfilled my promise to him but all my plans for us never come true because instead of a happy vacation we mourned their early passing. This devastated me so much. I did share everything here in my previous articles too. Since then I regret a lot not having time to spend with my father. If I only know what the coming days hold for him I should have taken the risk of the pandemic just to be with him.
There are a lot more things that I ignore to do and regret later.

Why you abandoned me Mama?
July 25-4
Emy was a typical kid who loves to play hide and seek with her playmates. Her parents trying their best to provide for their kid's necessities as possible. Emy has an older sister but at a young age passed away due to an illness.
At the age of three, Emy's mother seek permission from her husband to go to work in a nearby town as a helper to earn their living, though Emy's father was hesitant to let his wife go he has no choice at all.
Emy's father was still recovering from his illness too and he is not able to provide for his family's needs. The good thing is some of their relatives help them through while he is on medication.
Finally, Emy's mom went out to the nearby town to earn a living. All went smooth for the first few months. She frequently visited her family during her days off and brings gifts to her only daughter and husband.
Days pass by, it becomes months, and Emy's mom's visits become unusual. She neglects a month to visit them until it becomes a few couple of months then one day they receive the worst news in their life.
Emy's mother had already another man and she decided to live with him. She also stops sending them money. She boasted that she did very much for their family and she needs to be happy too being with the guy that she newly found.
Emy's father was devastated by what he learned from his wife. Although, heart broke Emy's father tried his best to provide for his daughter.
Emy on the other hand longed for the presence of her mother, she missed her badly. She cried and keep on calling on her mother's name. To this event, her father decided to move out to the mountain near her father's relative.
Emy's mother attempts to get her but to no avail because his former husband never permits it and the little girl is also hesitant in going with her though she longed for her to come back.
Years passed so fast. Emy's father gets married again to one of the widowers in the uptown village. The lady widow has two daughters much older than Emy.
The two newlywed stays with their daughters together. Sadly, Emy seems unhappy with her new family. Her stepmother was hard toward her. Sometimes their neighbor saw Emy crying in the corner. Her stepmom always shouts at her for small mistakes she commits.
Poor Emy did not enjoy playing anymore with the other kids. Sometimes their good neighbors let the kid eat at their home when she sees her sitting alone in their backyard crying with hands pressing her tummy.
Though their neighbor wants to help the poor girl she can't do anything because she's still in the custody of her so-called legal family.
Many years came by, and Emy's stepmom got pregnant and gave birth to a girl. In the presence of the baby, Emy's existence seems nothing anymore to his father. The attention was already focused on the baby.
On the other hand, the relative of Emy's biological mother came to fetch her one day but the poor girl hesitate to go with them thinking of his father being alone if she leaves him with his new family. She loves his father despite everything not so good going on with her with them.
Fortunately, she has a good lady neighbor that she can count on every time she needs comfort.
Until an unexpected tragedy happens.
Emy's father gets ill and after how many days of suffering he passed away. The family was shattered by the sudden loss of their head of the family.
Emy's stepmom becomes more monstrous in attitude toward her. She experienced not eating a complete meal in a day. Even their good neighbor already intervene when she saw Emy crying inside their backyard toilet one night because of the unpleasant treatment of her late father's family.
The neighbors told Emy's stepmom to send the girl to her biological family if she can't take care of her anymore instead of treating her unjustly. And for the meantime, the lady took Emy to her home with the girl's stepmom's consent.
She lived there with the lady's family and treat her as their younger kid. Everything went well. She enjoys being a kid again, playing with the other kid in the village.

Almost 9 years of love and quarrels
July 18-3
I can't imagine that we get this far despite all the circumstances that we've been through.
It is still fresh in my mind that moment that we are planning to settle down.
We've been in a long-distance relationship for the first two years being girlfriend and boyfriend.
Many obstacles had been hindering us to bloom, such as our stance on religion, temptation, dreams, and a lot more.
When I'm away from my fiancee during my OFW years there comes the big trial that tests my fidelity to my man.
I meet this guy on social media, added me to his friend list, and started to show interest in me. At first, I did not mind him at all until one time my curiosity about him strikes so I ask him about his whereabouts which he willingly (dunno if it's true) shared.
From then on he frequently called me in the morning before he bound to his work (according to him). Ask me if I'm okay, what I am doing, and everything that concerns me.
His sweetness and thoughtfulness develop a space in my consciousness that I even long for his messages when he misses or delays sending me one in the morning.
When the thought of him started to deepen and I felt like I was slowly falling for him I decided to tell him that I have already a fiancee who is waiting for me. Despite that he still pursues me, he even says that I'm still unmarried so he is grabbing that chance to win my heart (chuuuzzz).
From then on, he never stops calling and texting me. He told me to visit and plan to bring me with him to their province to meet his family and relatives (he is working abroad too).
At this point, I immersed myself in deep thought and have to decide whether to accept him and dump my fiancee or turn him down and cut him off from me. I choose the latter, I apologize to him for the false hope that I ignite when I enjoy entertaining him during his calls and messages. He begs for a chance but I choose to let him go completely. I blocked him.
Back to my fiancee, I told him everything. We argued and had some unpleasant conversations but in the end, we settled it well.
There are more obstacles that we passed through the years that come by. Financial scarcities, misunderstandings, and some petty quarrels were the ingredients of these almost 9 long years since we decided to live together.
There were times that I want to break up with him already when I was very mad. I want to be by myself and find a better version of him for others. Many unpleasant things are coming to my mind when I was angry with him. Though I am not the type of person who is burst out my anger easily I came to the point that I learn to fight back with harsh words too to express my emotion.
It is true, that you only knew the true color and character of a person when you live together.
For the first few months of us staying together, everything is almost perfect but as time goes by and problems started to mingle into our life, his attitude began to differ from what I believed he is. He has weaknesses too and shortcomings.
Although I am not fully prepared for this life event I tried my best to widen my understanding and accept the fact that he is just a normal individual just like me who has a lot of flaws. For I know he is adjusting with me too. We both learn to adjust to each other. We still fight and quarrel about some petty things but at the end of the day, we still manage to settle ourselves and learn to forgive and live the day together. Better.
As of now, despite those differences, we manage to stay together and hopefully forever. Manifesting.

A belt whip that is worth it
During my younger years, I was just like those typical young adult girls who are fun discovering things around with the companionship of friends.
There was once a time way back in 2003 when I, my sister, and my friends suddenly agreed to go for a quick visit to one of the villages where my friend's relatives are living.
On purpose, we did not inform our parents about our activities thinking that we will be back early in the morning the next day.
We hiked the mountains that bordered the two municipalities, and we crossed rivers and creeks.
While hiking up the mountain, my sister and her friends almost cried out of too much tiredness. Our water container was empty already and we don't know where to refill it to drink.
Luckily, upon reaching the summit of the mountain there was a spring in a small forest on its side.
While resting one of our companions shows us where we trail our way down to the other side of the next mountain. Down there we saw big rivers flowing silently.
The view was very natural, with a lot of trees and a body of water, the mountains started to color green for the wet season was at hand at that time, and the grass started growing with the trees around.
A simple neighborhood
At last, we arrived at our destination after 2 to 3 hours of hiking, hoping, and walking through a bushy path.
Down there we saw the simple kind of living of the folks. We walk through a paddy of rice fields before we reach the homes of my friend's relative whom we stay for the night.
Courtship under the full moon
This is hilarious in the sense that the one who is courting me is the older brother of my crush lol.
But the case is he pushes his brother to me setting up a secluded place for his brother to talk to me.
I did not expect those things to happen for I am a bit conservative in terms of entertaining my suitors
But during that time I was dragged by my friends who are teasing me uncontrollably.
After our dinner, my friends and I were invited by their cousins ( my crush and company ) to spend some time on the river banks eating some mangoes dip in bagoong and vinegar. The moon is at its fullest, the surroundings were clear with the gentle blow of the wind.
So we went out happily and enjoy the cool scenery. Here under the full moon was one of my courtship stories that happened lol.
The storm
Morning came, but the weather wasn't good at all. Last night rainfall started to pour unceasingly. The water level of the river rises double. Last night's momentum changed instantly to a stormy day.
We can't move forward with our plan to go back home that day because of the bad weather. We are forced to stay for one more day hoping that the storm will go away quickly.
As we were stranded in that village my worries filled up for our parents doesn't know where we are. My sister got worried too. For sure father was very angry now and so with mother too. I don't know what to say to them then for there is no valid reason for what I did. At that moment I realized how irresponsible I am to tag my younger sister and her friends (our second cousin) with me in a place where we are all first-timer.
Worried parents
We are not able to make it to go home on our planned exact day. We just pushed through to go back home when the water level was lower a bit and the storm rain stopped pouring. Though the water current is still dangerous we plead to some of the older folks to help us cross the river.
Unknown to us, our parents together with my brother and a few relatives are already searching for us around the nearby towns and no one can tell them where we are. They even send someone to search for us downtown.
I already expected punishment for us with my sister, maybe a couple of left and right spank on the face from my parents but I already accepted the case for I know I am wrong.
A belt whip of discipline
I admit that was my first time being whipped with a belt on the bottom lol. I do not worried about myself but about my little sister who I know is a crying baby.
My brother and a friend came to pick us up from my friend's house. We walked almost four hours before we arrived home.
Then there, our parents are waiting disgustingly for what we've done.
My father let us walk inside and interrogated us. I just answered shortly then the whip landed on my back, and my sister began to cry as expected. I said sorry to Papa, and it's okay that he hit me with his belt. He told me to don't do it again.

That disciplinary action is done by our parents to correct what is wrong that we have done. We can't change for the better if there is no one to usher us on the right path. Although, punishing could be painful in some sense this way we have to ponder and learn our lessons from our mistakes.

Hopefully, the weather will become clearer later, because many will be affected by flooded roads again if this will insist.

Messy thought on the first day of July

I was worried that I did not do so much last month of June. I am saddened by the fact that I can't manage to publish an article every day no matter how I want to.
Unfortunately, I just make 8 articles for the whole month of June. Very few compared to my previous month :(
I can say that I am not lousy for I also wish to do my best here. Only what hinders me was my lack of time, it is very difficult to multitask when your body is failing already and succumbed to exhaustion.
However, life must go on. Although life throws me a lot of struggles and it is not easy to walk through, keeping moving is the key to recovering from the harsh moment of life.
Stress is one of my enemies especially in dealing with my commuting to work, less sleep during the night has a big factor also to my mental and physical health.
I read some pointers on how to manage stress on Facebook which was published by the WHO, I thought it was a written article but it was an audio that might be a big help in coping with stress. I leave the link below for you to check out if you find you need some guidance to combat stress too. I did not yet open my browser to download the audio but if I have the time I will take a look at it too.

As you can see in the above image, there are lots of signs of physical stress which I am sure most of us are experiencing.
This is the reason why I cut some of my time and restrain myself from overdoing some workloads and other sidelines that consumes my resting time. Unfortunately, writing here is one of them. Aside from not having enough time my thought and my brain were not cooperating every time I tried to construct my entry here because of sluggishness. So as not to spoil my eagerness to visit here I just dropped by your articles, read, upvoted, and leave a comment on them. Just a simple way to keep connected with you.
Therefore, we have to give importance to our health mentally and physically no matter what happens.
Physically and mentally fits are the foundation of sustainable grinding. Being fit and alert attributes so much in every endeavor that we struggle whether in our work and jobs or even in taking care of our families.
With good health, we can provide good wealth as well.
Though my mind was a bit messy today, I am still thankful that I can do this article. I am glad my body and brain cooperate this time.

Joining the challenge

Hello, my dearest read dot cash family. How are you guys doing?
It's been a few days now that I didn't make it here. As always the reason is lack of time. Though sometimes I had free time from work, I use this also to take a breath and grab the opportunity to rest to replenish the drained strength back.
My thought about writing was alive but the body is failing that is why what I do is visit here for some time and read a few of your articles then leave upvotes and comments to keep connected with you guys.
So sorry if I'm not able to visit you all but I promise to do it one at a time as my schedule permits it.
For today's article, I just picked it up from @Jijisaurs previews article in which she shared a few questions to answer and shared what is your thought about the matter.
So, before I go for further nonsense words here we go to the questions.
1) You take for granted.
I take my student's time for granted. Yes, you read it right. I was so fooled to think that time will not be spoiled though I was still young at that time.
Nobody to blame but me, only me. If I did not take that moment and chances for granted I should have had a successful career now lol.
Thus, even though I failed in those fields of life and suffer the fruit of my negligence. The lesson that I learned was to strive on the path that I choose. Life doesn't end where I drop, instead of blaming and dwelling on the past I fight my way to search for some ways to live my life well. It may not as good as I thought it to be but at least I did not give up.
2) The things you own that money can't buy.
Money is essential to humans. Yes, we can't despise the truth that money is almost everything. Although, there are some instances when money can't do anything to cover our wants and needs. One of these is a true friend.
You only know who is your true friend if you have no money. You can differentiate those who truly care for you if you are money less.
Family, whether by blood or not is a treasure that money can't buy.
Can money buy time? I don't think so, do you?
3) People who helped you in your life.
Many people came into my life who attribute so much to my development. But my parent is the best people who mold me and made me aware of the struggles of the world. Although I did not become the person they aspire me to be, my parent never cease in supporting and loving me.
4) Write something for people for their support.
To the people who are always there for me. Words of gratitude are not enough to express my sincerest thank you.
I was not vocal in extending my utmost appreciation to every one of you guys but deep in my heart, your support will always be my guide I treasure you all and your memories never fade through the years that passed.
Be grateful for everything we receive whether it is big or small, every blessing counts.

The inevitable events
June 19-7
Happy Sunday greetings to all of you read dot cash family! Although I felt bad because of an unpleasant incident that happen this morning I still wish you all the best.
In our life, we can't avoid some things to happen. Some instances occur out of our control.
We do think and plan for whatever we want, every goal has its time frame in our journals, whether it's written down or set an alarm for us to be reminded that this particular thing has to be done on time.
But alas! No matter how perfect our plans are, no matter how long we wait for the supposedly time and day.
The thought is ready to execute everything to reach the target goal, but oh no! Sometimes failure interrupted disgustingly.
Failure is inevitable.
Though you did your best and take every possible precaution to prevent failing you still failed.
This is what I felt after losing a cute tiny breath just this morning. The inevitable death claimed success.
I did everything I can to save this little one though it's not mine.
I treat it as special as one of the herds in my care.
She's tiny but a fighter to stay alive so I find ways to uplift its frail body and cure and nurture its beauty.
I loved how this tiny fur ball responded positively. I saw a bright light that it's gonna be alright.
Last night shows me its cutest antics when it grabs some food from the plate, its tiniest growl scared off the bigger furry ball around. The spirit is fighting and holding on to dear life.
I sleep last night at peace that this little life could grow furthermore.
But death is inevitable indeed! When I woke up and go out to buy my partner coffee and breakfast the little life last night was lying lifeless on the ground :(.
I tried to massage its chest to revive its senses and ask the owner what the cause of its death was. And she said, "my husband accidentally step on it in the morning when the little kitten run its way outside." Sigh!
My heartbreak at that moment, I just caress the li'l face of the dead kitty. I'm sorry, I did everything to help you and I know you are grateful because you fight throughout, you even gain your appetite after the medication and you release all the monsters in your small tummy. Sadly, in just a snap your life ends at the foot of somebody. 'Till we meet again my dearest, fly high, you could no longer feel the pain nor hunger anymore.
It's 10:10 at night here my dearest, and we got still have another batch to do. So I guess this is all for now. Thank you for reading again💜.

Music nostalgia

Hey, awesome read cashers. Hopefully, all of you enjoying the day at its best.
Today is Thursday, June 16, 2022. And what I am going to share with you was yesterday's experience while I was riding the jeepney on my way to our meet-up place (my partner)
What usually the jeepneys music was all Pinoy and foreign rap songs in which they press the bass button to its maximum that you could barely hear the voice of your seatmates.
When the music plays I can't enjoy it because the sound was destroying my eardrum lol. You can call me an old maid and that is true, I mostly enjoy mellow music and oldies which were played in a medley during the 80s and 90s.
Last night my ride was mellow too. Mr driver played that classic one in a medley. My thought went back to the past and the nostalgia of being a teen with my folks and friends under the full moon while listening to this kind of music was almost a perfect bonding.
We used to go for a picnic on the river banks at night with the other young adults. And while we were walking the distance from the village to the picnic site they always carry a cassette tape and played that kind of music.
You can barely feel the tiredness of 15-20 minutes of walking when you are in a group adding up the music that plays in the air.
Some events such as the pre-wedding celebration which is happening the night before the wedding day was full of musical and dancing activities too, we called these "bisperas."
Young single adult girls are invited to sit in the middle or of the decorated and intended area for the happenings and when the events started some guys could request and pay for a song for them to have a chance to dance to their chosen lady. At this moment also mostly courtship happens lol.
The events will end only when no more is wanted to dance or in short the guys has no more money to pay for a dance lol. Then the emcee finally announces the end of the event and the charge table people will now collect all the income and after the total will surrender the cash to both parties the groom and bride.
This kind of event also happened during fiestas. We called this "pasosyal." And most of the music played before was slow rock, mellow, and sometimes rock music too.
While I'm serious after a few minutes of reminiscing the past the music from the jeep turn to OPM which makes me go back to my senses instantly lol. Though I still enjoy the kind of it because the genre was good in the ear to hear without that heavy bass and too loud sound from the speaker.
Been drafting this article since afternoon and just now am about to publish lol.

Yesterday and today's errand

Hello to all of you read dot cash family! Wish you all the best in everything that you do especially for your good and for others too.
I spent yesterday at home taking care of my partner.
Although, I felt bored and unproductive good luck still knock on my door.
At around 10 am yesterday I tagged along with my partner to have a walk for a while and bought him medicine in the pharmacy a few blocks from our home. Though he felt dizzy walking I encourage him to go slowly so that he could bathe himself from the sunshine.
After a few minutes of walking, he decided not to go with me to buy food and viand anymore as he is tired and dizzy already so I let him go home ahead while I went straight to buy meat and veggie and at the same time bought bread from the bakery for our late breakfast.
As I walked back home, one of my clients saw me pass them and called me and ask if I can render a massage service. I said yes quickly lol.
I told her to tell her daughter to message me if they're set all ready for me to come over to their house.
The afternoon came and a new message pop up on my messenger asking for a massage, I replied yes and ask the exact time. And she replied if I can be there earlier than 8 pm, I answered that was fine with me.
So that was it, I went to my client's house around past 6 pm and finish the massage at around almost 8 pm. I thought that was all so I keep my things while waiting for the payment and was ready to leave when the madam called the other lady (the one who asked me earlier) to come next and another one after (her husband who is the brother of the other lady whom I did first and a bakasyunista).
So, I earned a bit last night plus a tip of cash and in-kind (toothpaste and bath soap). I used my earnings for our daily needs and for my partner's medicine too. We also bought earlier a super kalan as our gas was out already this morning.
Today's work was not about earning but a bit of decluttering and cleaning the kitchen roof of many grains of sand, soil, leaves, and other debris from the carpenters changing the main roof sometime last year.
For me to reach the roof, I need to use a ladder and squeeze myself through a rustic outlet of a grill on the roof. It was hot in the afternoon but I had to do it then while there is not yet rain to come.
The drainage (alulod) was stuffed with much dirt that the rainwater slipped through the roof and spilled down into the kitchen when it rains hard.
The one problem with the roof also was the wooden bars that hold the galvanized roof were eaten by termites already so I can't step directly onto it but balance myself on the top of the wall while sweeping the drainage. The good thing is my neighbor lent me a long-handed broomstick to easily remove the dirt at the drainage.
Ugh! That job was not easy you know? From carrying a heavy metal ladder from the outside to the inside and figuring out how to stand it without swaying or slipping away while I climb into it. Then the rustic entrance can't move aside without much force because the braces were full of rust already and can't rotate no more.
I spend a few minutes trying to squeeze myself in between the bars while pushing the upper portion of it without making the ladder slip away before I finally made it to the top. That was a bloody messy breakthrough lol.
And finally, the roof drainage is free from debris that hinders the water from flowing. I hope it will not overflow again despite the hard rain that will come.
It is worth the sweat and burnt skin under the sun. Though my hands have a few scratches from my tight grip I feel fulfilled with what I've done today. This task was planned a long time ago but I did not make it because of some reasons. But now I made it.

A set of Q&As saves the day

I can't say if today is my unlucky one since I was not able to go to work because of my partner's feeling not well since yesterday. But I guess I'm still lucky that I am still breathing though.
However, I still need to be a bit productive on this site to cover up my inactivity over the last few days. I will grab this opportunity to consecutively publish an article because I don't know what would tomorrow hold for me again.
Thankfully, I stumbled upon these meaningful questions from our fellow writers here that is initiated by Sir @Olasquare and I decided to make one too.
So, here we go.
**🔹From your childhood, are there experiences that stand out?**
In my childhood, there are lots of memories to hold on to. But this one which I share seems the most memorable one and yet the horrible too.
I was at grade school and get sick for many days which makes me skip school. One evening I found myself in a place where no one I knew. It was dark but my sight seems used to it that I can figure out those in my surroundings. There are many people both young and adults with their belongings with them. I am with no one in the family, the temperature was cold but not freezing. We get on a long bus with an open roof which I don't know the destination. I was not in a panic, but wondering why on earth I ended up there.
To cut the story short, I was in a hallucination because of a high fever at that time. When my senses were brought back I found out that my Father cuddling me with some of the folks around and the herbalist/faith healer (albularyo) attending to me. My mother was sobbing outside our home but hurriedly came to me when heard my voice. According to the healer, my soul was already wandering and seemed lost when he found me in the mountain valley and urge me to go home with him.
This seems a fiction but it really happens to me, and on the part of the healer, I can't assure if it was true but I still thank him for helping me to recover
**🔹Do you have a favorite holiday and why?**
I loved the Christmas holiday and summer. During these holidays, the family and some relatives can get together to celebrate while in summer family, friends, and relatives could have a summer break together too to escape from the day-to-day struggles and stress.
**🔹Have you ever encountered food that was hard to swallow but you didn’t want to offend someone?**
Oh yeah, so many times but I manage to swallow it just to not offend the giver lol. But if I know the person who is close to me I would gladly resist it unless it is in my mouth already.
I am sick and weak of the fishy taste of foods and even on the meat menu, there is still a distasteful and it is not palatable to me though the food is thoroughly prepared.
**🔹Is it better to forget the past?**
We are the result of the past and it is a part of our development. Maybe we can't totally forget the past but we can move on and start or continue our life at present time.
**🔹How does “knowing too much” benefit or harm you?**
Maybe knowing too much could benefit if it is for good motive. This question depends upon the knowledge that could benefit or harm such an individual. Some truths should be kept in secret or else this can cause your safety. Be vigilant also to whom or to where you blab anything.
**🔹What are the three best things about you? Advertise yourself in the best three ways.**
****I am understanding**** 🔸In a way that I consider things on your side why you did such things (except the mortal sin of course) before I say something or decide.
****I can keep secrets****🔸Your secret is safe with me as long as you don't spit it out for the world to know lol. Having said this already in my past articles too.
****I am a good listener****🔸You can count on me when you needed someone to listen to your unending sentiment about your love life, your family's petty quarrels, and a misunderstanding between your marites neighbors lol. Yeah, I am good at that because I prefer to listen before stating what's on my mind.

Hello, awesome read cashers! How are you guys? I hope every one of you is in your best state always.
Its Saturday and I were not able to go to work today due to my partner's health issues. I think his UTI is attacking again but hopefully, he will be well soon after taking his medicines.
And for today's article, I am just sharing with you a few of my edited photos in my gallery that makes me a bit creative to participate in some of the previews contests in NC and on Twitter a long time ago.
This edited photo thru the Canva app was posted in Noise dot cash as one of my daily updates in my first account I think.
I took this photo along the way where my partner is washing his motorcycle in an open spring. Folks in this area build a small dam around the falling drip to collect the water and used it for bathing their vehicles, some children also go here to bathe. Near this area was full of this herb or weeds (above photo).

I think this mountain was the tallest in our area. Below Pisusok mountain was our village situated.
When we were a kid we used to hike the nearby mountain of Pisusok where my father and the villagers let their cattle feed and roam freely along with the mountain range.
In the valley of this mountain was a lot of creek and spring where you can safely drink their water. Its water was pure and sweet. The coldness of the air under the shades of trees could bring you to a deep slumber. It is truly refreshing and amazing to spend some time in nature's bosom.

Oh, what a sweet photo I have here. I made this edited photo in participation in one of CandyMan's meme contests on Twitter and telegram before. I was still very active in participating and updating the events regarding the tokens at metamask and in telegram at that time. Sadly now, I lost track already due to my work schedule. This photo is now just memorabilia of the past lol.
This photo was grabbed from a site on google before. I just add a message in it thru the Canva app to remind everyone that the covid virus was still in a surge during those times. Staying at home is safer than roaming without anything necessary for you to do outside.
Doctors and health personnel and agencies were in a tight fight against the virus and several lives were claimed by it already. Even doctors were also much affected for their unwavering service rendered to the patients.
This photo also was published in my noise cash update maybe way back in 2020.

The devilish temptation

Woah! What a monster devil thought I just had recently.
But before I continue my a not-so-good feeling rant let me great you first a blessed night, day, or whatever time in your part of the universe guys. Hope you are all at your best.
Well, today is Sunday, June 5 at around 11:11 in the evening. Luckily I manage to attend the church worship today, unlike last Sunday despite the long ride before reaching the church which is near my workplace.
Guys, may I ask you something? Normally isn't it refreshing and calming when after you did the church worship? You should be full of positivity and inspiration and your thought is cleared of negativity, right?
I'm sorry but I am just imparting my dark side for this moment. I don't know if anyone of you had this kind of experience or time when you become devilish sometimes despite attending the church lol.
It happened that we have 2 consecutive reserved for massage service *this afternoon.*
So the thing is I felt so bored around the middle of the worship when the leader preaching the gospel (I'm sorry for being like this) but I don't know why that feeling of uneasiness creeps into me. I want the service to be done immediately if I could only have the chance to do it myself. I felt so sleepy though I was not the only one who is about to slumber during that time, I saw many simply closing their eyes and napping in the middle of the preaching too (forgive me, Lord).
The worship took more than an hour before it finally finished. And I hurriedly went out and walk fast my way to my work.
At the spa, I found out that my workmate just finished two sets of services while I'm at the church. I don't know but I had this feeling of blaming myself for why I had fewer attended clients at that particular moment. This angered me with whom I don't know as if someone told me in my head that I should be the one to do that or make that if I did not spend more time in the worship lol.
Then, many other negative thought now keeps coming, what if my partner asks me why I had fewer clients than the other therapist? Why I had a lesser tip compared to her blah blah blah...(advance mag isip) That's crazy, right? It seems the negative vibe wants to trigger me to explode and react harshly, that if I let this happen it could be the start of an unnecessary argument.
Additional to that is I did not reach the quota for the day :(
I can't explain in words how bad I felt about being annoyed by the things that should be normally acceptable, especially in my kind of work and situation. I am overreacting I guess.
To overcome this I had to take a deep breath and I ask God to take away this evil feeling from me. I tried to immerse myself in the possible good side that can benefit me like taking a nap while I was waiting for the next prospective client to come.
I watched some comedy clips on TikTok posted on Facebook. I tried to communicate cal.ly and properly with my workmates. Thankfully that the little soft voice of goodness in my head never leaves me and helps me to stay composed despite my ill feeling.
The day ends well and we all go home peacefully.
Today is Monday, June 6 half of the above article was drafted yesterday and is now finally finished and is about to publish later.

A busy bee earned $34 in six hours

My four days were finished without any article to publish here. So here I am giving you a few glimpses of that days.
Sunday, May 28 seems like a roller coaster in my work. Upon arriving at the spa a lot of clients are waiting already. The whole day was already fully booked and I am even not able to attend the church worship.
I was very tired that trying to scroll on my phone felt like another thing to drain my strength already instead I tried to lay down for a few moments and close my eyes to relax my system from doing a hard massage service.
Despite the hectic and tiresome working hours I manage to visit some articles here. But to compose an article was impossible for me to do already.
Monday, May 30. Just like Sunday, this day is quite busy too. We were just two therapists who came up to work. The two others were absent attending to their personal necessities.
This time we thought that numbers of clients could be minimal only but we are wrong, seems the people around need to pamper that they filled our booking again. This made us more tired, especially just the two of us who did the service massage.
Tuesday, May 31. I wake up feeling so tired. All over my body was aching a d seems my every muscle tissue was bitten by something so I decided to skip my work for that day and even the next day.
Wednesday, June 01, 2022. On laundry day at the same time, home service is waving around the neighborhood.
It is unexpected, I was supposed to go to work yesterday but one of my clients approached me and scheduled for home service, a few hours later another couple of clients booked a two-hour schedule. And around 3 pm another one booked a schedule.
I thought I can rest yesterday but it's the opposite. But I am super thankful because this chance to earn just happens once in a while.
Although I felt very exhausted after my home service I felt successful for the day. Thanks also to my partner who continued the laundry rinsing of our clothes after I spin them in the washing machine for me to take a bit of rest before my home service.

A Froggy visit
May 28-10
**hello, awesome read dot cash family! I hope everyone is all well and happy.**
It's been 3 or 4 days now that I did not make it to publish an article although I tried to visit here every day to check some of the precious works of yours read cashers. And for those, I failed to visit I'm sorry but I promise to catch up to you guys.
Last night or I should say at dawn before morning a frequent visitor appeared again near the door inside the small terrace where we tied up Crocroo our pet Bantam rooster.
Near Crocroo's feeding bowl was the water bowl in a small ice cream container in which I stored water every day for him and for the other animals that feel thirsty.
Some of the cats from the neighborhood took a sip of water from the bowl too.
Sometimes, even my neighbor's dog and chickens came in to satisfy their thirst from Crocroo's water bowl.
Since then an unusual visitor keeps coming to the bowl every night and it disappears in the morning.
At first, was cute brown froggy appeared near the door and when I tried to approach the creature it hops its way to the bowl and it sits there until the last time that I check it before I go o sleep at that time.
I don't know if this kind of frog was the so-called bullfrog. They are bigger than the usual frog that I used to see back in the province in the rice fields.
The good thing is my cats never mind the frog's presence during its visits.
Then last night the frog was way bigger than the one that comes first. Actually, it's the second time that I noticed its presence at the water bowl. It silently sits there as if owning the water for the moment.
It did even not move when I started clicking to take a photo of it. Seems Mr. Froggy enjoying the flash of my phone's camera lol.

What I fancy more between the two choices
May 24-9
I have been drained with ideas already. And my brain can't work diligently to construct articles every day due to my tiresome job. Thankfully, a lot of our virtual friends here come up with all the best helpful ideas to conquer mental blocks at times.

So here we go before you get bored with my unnecessary intro lol.
>Chocolate or Cheese
Oh, I love chocolates, especially the dark ones but I prefer cheesy foods.
We can find a lot of foods with cheese even my long-time favorite halo-halo is more creamier if there is cheese in it.
Cheesy pizza, spaghetti, lasagna, Caldereta, cheesy sandwiches, and the all-time Filipino favorite pandesal is more yummier if there is melted cheese in it as a filling.
There are a lot more menu that is way tastier if they combine cheese in them. So I go with cheese 😁.
>Airplane or Boat
When I applied as an OFW, I was getting nervous thinking about how could I manage my flight without throwing up lol. Because riding the local buses made me feel dizzy and uncomfortable during the trip. Luckily, I find refuge in the bonamine tablet that I take before the trip to prevent me from uneasy feeling.
But when I finally step inside the plane for the first time and took off from the land and go higher from the ground I was amazed that I just sitting by the window well relaxed and comfortable. Only occupied my mind at that moment was what would be my luck in the foreign land that I am heading for.
On the other hand, I only experienced riding a pump boat and a roro by the river and the sea. What I want to experience is not just by boat but to have a luxurious ride with a cruise ship (praying)lol.
How about you guys, do you want to join me in riding a cruise ship in the future though it's just an impossible dream? lol😁.
**>Lipgloss or Lipstick.**
When I was a little younger I prefer to use lipgloss but now lipstick is preferred for me to wear when I need to glam a bit before going out to such a special occasion.
During my teenage day lipgloss is in demand in our circle as it makes the lips shimmer, soft, and glossy that it complement a chick aura.
>Beach or Snow
I would love them both to experience it someday although beaching was sometimes I did before.
But to be specific about what is to choose, I would go with the snow. It would be good to play snowman and play with snow, isn't it!
As I watched some people online enjoying the snow I envy them in the sense that I want to experience that someday too.
>Jeans or SweatPants
Sweat pants are preferably used when doing our usual errands at home or even outside.
Sweat pants for me are comfortable when moving around unlike the jeans one. At times if an occasion that I am going to attend was not that formal and for a family gathering only I can go with sweat pants alone lol, but it depends on the people that are going to the event too of course.
>Ketchup or Toyomansi (for Pinoy)
I love toyomansi over ketchup. My partner is my opposite because he likes ketchup more.
If our dish is fried or even simple vegetables only it makes it even more tempting to the palate if there is a toyomansi combined with chilies as dipping.
