Three Decades and a Year

After a few days of spacing out in the world, here I am trying to bring back my daily routine of posting in @Read.Cash . I am trying to be as active as I can because I've been slacking on posting lately. Don't get me wrong, I still do draft articles on a daily basis, I just can't seem to finish it and hanging out in my account. I hope that read.cash can put a separate tab on drafted articles so I don't have to scroll all the way down to my published articles.
Anyway, let's see if I can come up with something sensible this time.

It took me a few minutes to write, delete, rephrase, delete, think, type, delete and bite my nails.
Oh yes, it has been three decades and a year and I am still bitting my nails as if I didn't grow up.
I deleted what I typed earlier because I can't seem to finish it. I have a lot of unfinished business, you know. Instead let me just tell you a bit about my day. This is going to be a blog Blog, if you know what I mean.
31st
I celebrated my birthday yesterday. Yes, I just turned 31 years old. We only had a simple celebration, nothing fancy. Food, cake and my familty are enough for me. My husband is still in the province so yeah, we only had a videocall earlier. I miss him and I feel like I need a hug from him so I can go on with my life but yeah, no can't do.
Going back...
My sister ordered a cake from Cake2Go
and then I ordered food for our dinner via GrabFood. Of course I checked what stores offer discount so I can choose from there. I saw that PandaExpress has a 200php discount for a minimum purchase of 1,000php. I checked the family size meal and boom boom boom, placed the order.
Here's what we ordered:

Fried rice
Mixed veggies
I remembered the first time that me and my husband ordered food in PandaExpress in Megamall, we were still dating that time and there was a fortune cookie included in the meal. When the food was delivered, I was surprised that there were still fortune cookies included. I picked one, and here's my fortune.
I sent this to my husband and I told him that I will smile. UGH. So much for a person who looks suplada or a resting B*tch face.
I really just look like that and a lot of people told me that they thought I am suplada. I know why, I have a poor eyesight and hearing. I also don't look on other people's facing when I walking so the tendency is I can't recognize people I know right away, unexpectedly unless you call me by my name real loud.
Well, frowning is also my trick when I don't want to talk to people. Hehehehe me jaz layk det.
Day before my birthday
I got a surprise visit from my beshiewaps, just the two of them. The other one was locked away with her jowa and seemed to erase us on her life. Charing!
Two of my highschool beshies dropped by to our house for just a quick pangasar, we also forgot the date and then realized that it's my birthday the next day. I can't entertain them that much because the bebi is likot likot. They hung out at the park after they left our house.
Then the next day, (0404), they greated me in our Telegram group.
From us four, I was the first one to get married and have a kid.
Morning - my birthday gift but not for myself
A few weeks ago, I've been checking, searching for a playpen online. Lil B doesn't want to stay in the crib because it is getting too little for her. She's an active baby and would always want to crawl and stand. I was afraid that she might take long to learn to walk, that's why I think she needed a much spacious area that she can move around with.
I have saved some listings in my Carousell account and added to cart some same items on my Shopee account. Then the night before my birthday, I saw a new listing for a 2nd hand playpen that was just in our city. I contacted and got a good deal with the seller. The next morning I asked the seller to send a video so I can at least see the condition of the item and she sent it via Viber. I saw her last name and asked here if she knows someone with the same last name. It was a small coincidence that my mother were friends with her mother too.
As soon as I received the item, I assembled it right away and set aside the old crib. I put her stuffed toys and a few toys that Lil B have and I also put her cousin's toys in it.

I was so happy too as this type of play pen is sturdy and foldable. Me and my husband really loves space savy things. I put inside the foam from her old crib so she can have a something soft to sit on and we can also sleep in the playpen too.
I can say that this is a great birthday gift for me and for Lil B too. I told my husband that it was my birthday but Lil B was the one who got a gift hahahhaa! It was a great gift for me because I don't need to carry her most of the time. She doesn't cry as much as before while she's in the playpen but she just needs someone inside with her. My back was saved from aching, I can also have time to draft or post articles here in read.cash too. Win win!
Afternoon - another gift and early gift for Lil
After we had lunch, my friend told me that my order already got delivered. She wasn't an online seller but she was my former workmate. We were under the same sports apparel account and they have a 40% discount quarterly that they can use online. I took advantage of it and asked her to buy something for us. I purchased shorts for my husband, shoes for Lil B for her birthday next month and I thought I can include one small item for me too, cap.
I don't know why but I love caps. I feel pogi when I wear a cap and as a lazy person, I don't have to worry fixing my hair that much. Just let the cap work on my hair HAHAHAHA!
Well as for the shoes, this is one problem when you purchase online and you are not sure what size to get for a particular brand. I purchased 15cm, size 9C shoes for Lil B. However, it was TOO BIG for her. Even too big for my 2y/o niece. Huhueheuehue
She looks like she has Mcdonald's shoes. It was my first time purchasing shoes for her size and I failed heuhuehue. Well, I'll be back to checking 2nd hand shoes online for the meantime.

I just like to share a little bit of what happened on my special/ordinary day. I am happy that we had a simple celebration but I miss my husband. Haaaaaay.

I was? maybe I still will be.
I was a smoker and vaper, I probably still if I didn't get pregnant or if I don't breastfeed my Lil B, or if I am still working.
Why do/did smoke? It was because I can't handle or manage my stress level and it somehow helped me calm down in times of trouble, mother mary come to me, speaking words of wisdom, let it beeeee. CHAR!
Anyway, my hand shakes when I am in deep stress, my chest pounds too so yeah, inhaling such dangerous stuff in my lungs helped me get by.

I think I've answered the question already hahaha! Now, let's go to when, how and why?
I first tried it when I was in college. My current jowa that time, D, our classmate Aldrin and I were on our way home and we suddenly decided to stop by the riverbanks for a few moments of tambay and for them to smoke. We were chillin in the riverbank play park and I suddenly asked Aldrin if I can take a hit. D looked at me like 'whoa wait what' and I told him I'll just try, then he gave me a nod. By the way, I don't ask permission to my jowa if I want to do something unless I ask their opinion. I CHOKED, it was bad, I don't want to do it again, I told myself never never never and eeew. Aldrin laughed at me and told me 'good' (*Buti naman).*
Like any other teenager or just plainly out of curiosity. I just wanted to try and know why by father smokes. (He is a chain smoker)
***Cigarette, vape, e-cig or tobacco? Nicotine patch perhaps?*** Let me add a heating cigarette device like Iqos - yes, less smoke, less smell, no ashes (*upos).* Cigar or tobacco - no too heavy and too strong uuugh. Nicotine patch - nope. Cigarette, vape, e-cig - Yes.
Cigarette variant, menthol I'd go with Marlboro blue or black (green if I have no choice) Winston purple is my usual variant.
Vape-I prefer the mods than pod. I can say that I am a cloud and flavor chaser. I used to go up to 100w I don't do tricks though, aside from the circle one hahaha! If I can do a Gandalf trick char.
Let me also share a few vape mods that I had. Yes, I had different kinds (some of you may already know that I love the color yellow)
I also had Athena Squonk mod. The picture on the right was my favorite mod and atomizer. The mod was a Wismec Luxotic MF, a multi function mod where in you can convert it to a dual battery box mod or to a single battery bottom feed/squonk mod.
There are atomizers that has juice tank but I still prefer a drip tip atomizers for more flavor and I also find it inconvenient for me to bring a bottle of juice if the juice rans out in the tank. That's why I bought a squonk mod which is convenient for me because it has more juice storage and I only need to bring the mod whenever I take my quick break at work.
Vape juice flavor? Milky, menthol sometimes fruity. I'd go for 3mg nic but I kept a 6mg nic juice for tough times.
I used to hoard juices, specially when I just started vaping so I would know what flavor I like and find a go to brand or flavor. Good thing I had a vape master who helped be build my vape when I was just starting. He basically taught me everything I know about vape.
***If you have been or you are still a smoker, when did you pick up the habbit?***
I made it a habbit out of stress to my jowa that time, D. I learned how to smoke just to get back at him and when he saw that I can smoke, it blew his brains out. I wasn't a chain smoker though. Having a confused, working student life, family problems and entering a rebellious phase, that's what got me sticking up to smoking. I take 5 sticks in a good day, many if I am drinking, but I make it a point to last a pack for a week.
When I got to vaping, one 60ml bottle is good for 2 weeks but on a rainy day, I take turns in smoking and vaping.
I was also told that vaping would help me to stop smoking, but it didn't, well at least for some people I know. I still find the smell of the cigar appealing to me, maybe because of the variant? I don't know haahha! I can't deny the fact that it smells S*** to people who don't smoke.
***Any amusing tales with regards to smoking?***
Nothing that I can recall but I remember one time when I got home late, and then the next day I realized that I put my pouch on the fridge. When I took my pouch, I saw my cigarette sticks cut right at the filter. I am not sure if it was my mother or father who saw it, but probably my father because he knows right where to cut it.
Oh I just remembered that my older sister used to smoke too. One time our mother got mad because she saw a cigarette but in the bathroom, scolded my sister and told my father to scare the shizz out of her. My father didn't say much, well who's to blame. HAHAHAHAHA!
***Does your family know you smoke?***
They know but I wasn't fully out that I smoke up until 2019. I just don't smoke infront of my parents, inside the house or better if I don't smoke at home.
I feel like smoking at *their* home is disrespectful hihi. Ooooh can't wait to have my own home charingerZ!!!

Hmmmm, I have a few in mind but when I think about it I don't them to inhale 2nd hand smoke. Probably we can still have a heart to heart talk but not a lung to lung conversation. I am not going to tag them but it you happen to pass by my article, feel free to open a conversation below. Hahahaha.
Again, I repeat. I do not encourage smoking nor vaping. We do have different bodies and a certain factor may affect one but not for others. If you do smoke, I encourage you take actions so you can stop soon. Alternatives could help, but in the end it is still your body so take care of it.

Places My Foot Has Stepped To

Travel. Who likes to travel here? Me? I don't travel that much. Aside from the fact that I have motion sickness, I don't have enough money and will to travel. I am such a person who would love to stay at home. Okay, maybe travelling once or twice a year is okay with me.
Summer is here too! Weather is hot, too hot to handle just by an ordinary water at home. We needed to get out. We need to get away to ease the heat out of our body.
It has been 2 years since the pandemic started in the Philippines too. I know that your feet are getting itchy to go beaches, resorts or anywhere.
I am not a travel buddy but I've been to a few places. Let me share some places that I've been to.
**Camalig, Albay**
I think Albay is the farthest place that I travelled. It's 12hr+ landtrip travel from our city, depending on the route you till talk and what time you'll travel.
We don't go there mainly for leisure but for our Holy Week family tradition. Oh by the way, it is my father's home town.It has been years since went back to Camalig.
Can you see the Mama Mary at the back of the picture? It was somehow like an ancestral life sized status figure or sculpture(?). I don't know what's the term but you know what I mean. It has been years/decades that people in Camalig have been devotees to her. We also join the procession every Holy week organized by the church. It has been believed that our Mother Dolorosa (Our Lady of Sorrows) has somehow miraculous in its own little way. One instance was when the Mayon Volcano last erupted. Volcanic ashes where every where and they can't seem to think how it is that when the volcanic ashes were all over the town, it was our home or where our Mother Dolorosa stays were not that much affected. The ashes where just on the streets, it didn't go through all the way to the house which we find it a bit odd but we are all thankful.
Right after the *Soledad* people will wait and until it gets blessed and devotees will grab every single flower that was on the *karo.*
I can still remember when was still a kid, we always climb up to the *Karo* after the proccession going back home.
Seeing the Mayon Volcano wasn't new to me, we've been going there since we were kids. I can still remember that we used to travel by renting a jeepney and passing through an unfinished or developing road somewhere that resulted to our hair frizzed by the sand and soil along the highway.
I hope that we can go back to Bicol soon and I hope that our tradition will go on as long as there's someone who can manage to go there.
**Cavite/Tagaytay 2014**
If I can still remember, one of our classmates in College invited us to their house in Cavite since we already graduated, like a graduation celebration. However, it was only the guys who can come. *Wait, I just had a flashback whew!*
Alright going back, we just graduated (irregular students) and we were invited to go to Cavite right after Christmas. I just remembered what happened as my ex was there and I brought my new boyfriend that time with me, as a plus one. There was a bit of a drama as it was just a few weeks after me and my ex broke up. *He was the boyfriend who didn't meet me up on my birthday.* So yeah, quick drama happened. Drinks happened and we managed to go to Picnic Grove. Imagine how cold the weather was that time. It was also my first time going to Tagaytay and I only had shorts with me as my lower garment. GRRRRRR
We also went to a lake? Somewhere in Cavite, I forgot what it's called but it has a deep well. They were still developing the place that time so yeah, I forgot the name of the place.
**Tagaytay 2017**
We also had a chance to do a quick getaway celebrate two of our friends' birthday. We just rented a car and planned a day that some of us can go. We only rented a sedan so just a few person can join. Fortunately, seats were just enough for us who have the same rest days and after we got out of the office, we travelled right away.
It wasn't my first time in Tagaytay, but it was my first time to visit other attractions there like Skyranch and People's Park.
It was just a day trip because we still have shift the next day. So much for a quick getaway.

I posted this article months ago. We went there for a quick barkada getaway. Me and my office workmates managed to snuck our way just to make this happen.
Oh I just remembered, one of us here just made up an excuse so she can get out of the office early. She actually pretended that she has diarrhea, went to the clinic and advised to take a bed rest for a few hours so the medicine can kick in, we told her to pretend to go to the bathroom every now and then so that the nurse on duty can give go sign for her to go home. Quite an actress! One of us requested to VGH (voluntary go home) because luckily the volume of the calls coming in was very low.
**Boracay de Cavite 2019**
Some of my officemates were looking for other people who want to join their trip. They rented a van and of course to lessen their expenses, they needed more people to join the trip. Fortunately, me and my current jowa that time can squeeze in to our schedule and join in. Right after our shift (midnight) we prepared and waited for the others to end their shift.
We travelled around 1am in the morning so we can be there early. We took the route where in we don't have to pay for toll and also because there will be no heavy traffic as we are travelling that early. We got there around 3-4am and to our surprise it was still close. The person who organized this trip didn't check what time it is open to public because the beach was inside the Marine Camp. So, we checked online and also asked the guard. We were told that they will open the gate to public at 6am. Gosh we needed to wait for 3 more hours.
Good thing that we have a tent and we waited outside the camp. We've also been warned by the guards to be careful and be mindful as there are wild pigs (*baboy ramo)* roaming around.
We waited, chitchat about our lives and experiences. Around 4 or 5am there were soldiers marching going outside maybe for a quick jog. Then around 6am, the guards let us in. Whew!
It was a 5 to 10min ride from the gates to the beach.
It was a semi unprepared trip but it was worth to wash our stress away.
**Papaya Island, Batangas 2019**
Another quick trip. Our Team Leader organized a team building in a form of getaway. He organized it, looked for a travel package from someone he knows so that all of us can come. The also somehow made a deal with other agents to cover some of our team's shift as a favor and then waited for others who will end their shifts.
I can't recall it all because, I slept all the way while travelling. We got there and took a quick breakfast, ride a boat going to the island. Of course, there was a quick island hopping too.
Oh I remembered that I didn't engage on the activies much because I had my monthly period that time and I just got out of my shift. I basically had no sleep and still have a shift after that.
Team buildings in BPO are usually a team alcohol session hahahah!
We had fun, chillin' in the middle of nowhere, fresh air, no work, but me no sleep. We were having fun but I came to a point that I needed to sleep or else I may passout. So I slept and didn't notice that I slept too much for me not to enjoy the remaining time to stay there.
Well, we still have alcohol drinks to finish so we had shots while we were on the boat going back to our ride.
I know that restrictions are on level 1 now but we should still be careful and take care of ourselves. Vitamins to go pipz!
I know that your feet are also itchy to go somewhere far away or your skin may long for a dip in to the sea water.
GO!!! Enjoy, while you still have time, while you still have energy to have fun.

Babies For Sale?

I just feel like I need to let my feelings out when I heard the news weeks ago. I am sure that some of you have watched it on the news or in KMJS. Yes, I am pertaining to the mother who sold her baby.
This might be not new and there have been incidents reported like this but I just want to spread awareness for other people and for other parents to be careful who they leave their child with.

I totally understand that life is hard and raising a child is hard in all aspects. Physically, emotionally, mentally and financially. There are also a lot of ways to get by life. People or families who are financially challenged tend to have 2 or more jobs just to sustain their source of living. Some even cut off expenses that may benefit the in the future like education, just so they can save money for food. Other people borrow money from any loan companies just to open up a business that soon may grow and help them financially.
*Diskarte.* Resourcefulness. That's how people get by specially in this time of pandemic. Did you notice? Online selling is now a convenient way to put up a business. Less cost and effort for both buyers and sellers. It's definitly a win win situation. Just open up or post on any platform and look for prospective costumers.
However, online selling is not always good. Products such as material things, skin care products, hair products, office supplies, services but can you believe that in some platform, some people formed a group of selling babies online.
Yes, I know. WuhtTheShiz! What I can't even believe is that there are other people, parents, who also put up their child, their babies for sale. Human trafficking yes, such a sad thing to say.

It really breaks my heart to hear news like this. I can't stomach how other mothers can do such thing. You can't blame me for being upset for what she did, I would understand if she sold things so that she can pay her debt. One thing that annoys me is she sold her baby for a nonsense reason, for a debt for losing online sabong, for gambling reasons. She even secretly sold her baby, her husband doesn't know. She told her husband that the baby was with her parents (grandparents) and the father only found out a few days after.
They featured this story for 3 weeks. They were asking assistance so that they can get their baby back. KMJS for sure will be glad to help and recover the baby but one thing is for sure, the mother will be receiving a case for human trafficking.
What happened?
According to the mother, she cannot think of anyway to pay back her debt. They don't have any appliances or investments for her to sell to earn money. However, she saw a group on facebook that they are looking for a baby for sale. She joined the group and contacted by a person who offered 20k for the baby. The mother sent pictures of the baby and haggled her way up. They ended up having a deal for 45,000 pesos then set up a place and time for selling.
The mother stated on the interview that as soon as she got the money and seated on the taxi, she wanted to get her child back but the buyer blocked her on messenger and no way of contacting the buyer. She went home. Her husband asked where the baby is and she said that the baby was with her parents, she made up an excuse out of fear that her husband will be mad.
*THE HECK! Of course he'll be mad*
Anyway, when she got home she got a brand new phone and kept the remaing money because she wanted to have the baby back.
When KMJS assisted them on their case to get the baby back, they immediately consulted a legal professional and told the mother that they will help but she may go to prison for what she did. She agreed as long as they can get the baby back and she regrets what she did.
The first time they attempted to get a contact to a person who knows where the child is, failed. The person didn't show up.
Weeks of searching and on the third week of featuring this story on KMJS, they managed to get the child back. This time it was only the father of the child who met up and talked to a contact person who may help them. They recovered the baby from a Nigerian national and was about to sell the baby overseas too. The police arrested the Nigerians and took the baby to DSWD. Yes, the gov't took over their child. No wonder, because of what the mother did.
DSWD will take care of the child first before they fully hand her over to the parent, oh the father. I think they also need to do an assessment or test to see if the baby has any signs of abuse or trauma? Maybe physically or in any way possible.
By the way when the mother visited the DSWD branch where their baby is, they didn't let her in. They didn't allow her to see the baby, even if she brought supplies, they didn't let her in. They only allowed the father to see the baby.
Now, the mother is ready for the case that will be filed against her.
I can't imagine how confused the baby was. From around 7 months, babies start to notice and recognize people. I can't imagine how this baby felt seeing different unknown faces carrying her. I can't imagine how she cried longing for the smell, hug and touch of her family.
I felt bad and my heart was literally breaking watching the news. For sure, everybody's thankful enough to get the baby back but who knows what kind of trauma will be stuck to the baby. She can't say a single word to describe or tell what happened.
Must watch
Human trafficking exists in black market. Children, babies missing or kidnapped are not new either. There's also a scheme that people should be aware of. A scheme that blinds the people who were badly in of money.

This is about teenage parents who didn't have a home to settle with, no job, no way to support their family, their baby. The father of the child was a thief. One day, they got schemed and fooled that someone will help them but kidnapped their baby instead.
My feelings were just over the top when I heard the story in KMJS. I don't want to judge but that was just plain sad and horrible thing to do for a baby.

Having a good time is fun as long as you are being responsible to your body.

So Much To Say But Nothing To Say

Mind rumbling. Thoughts crashing. Nails bitten. I am trying to fit in my thoughts today. There's a lot to say but can't. There are a lot of ideas but can't. Something's bothering me, I know. I can't manage. I can't stop thinking all of them at the same time. I can't stop staring at something and doing nothing. I can't stop. Yes, I can't stop.
It's been 2 days that I haven't posted anything here. I don't know why. Bad day? Nah. Blank day, yes. Author's block? No, just I am completely spaced out.
I tried use the The Most Dangerous Writing App again. I did. I typed. Copied. Then I stopped right there. Why? I just don't feel like posting it. Plus I also had difficulty when I get into the website. It only lets me set the timer to 5min. Once I choose 10 or 15 minute duration, the site doesn't respond. Hmm. I just picked 5mins instead. I tried to write about something that can perhaps light up my mood, that can light up anyone's mood. I failed. I tried to answer random questions or prompts saved on my bookmark list, but can't. I tried to write about a specific topic, I did, but I can't continue. Another topic saved on my drafts that I hope I can post and finish soon.
Time?
I know that I only have a few minutes to finish an article because I taking care of Lil B. The more she gets older, the more that she needs my attention. I am already noticing some things that she does when I am not fully attentive to her. I am sorry love. Mommy's gonna do better next time.
Her birthday is also coming up, next month she's gonna turn 1. We haven't baptized her too. We plan to do her baptism and birthday in one celebration. Yes, killing 2 birds in one stone. Thing is, I haven't prepared anything yet. Why? It's hard to plan something without my husband by my side. I don't want to be the decision maker when it comes to these things, it should be both of us. I find it hard why? Because husband is working. The reception doesn't cooperate in the province too. I hope that I don't rush her birthday celebration too.
Tasks
I feel there's so much to do all at the same time. I need to be a mom and be a wife.
I need to take driving classes. I need to plan Lil B's birthday. I need to sort things out for our house. I need to stop.

Pero take note, walang relationship na laging masaya lang tska boring yun. Mas nakakatuwa isipin na habang mas tumatagal o sinusubok kayo ng relasyon, mas marami kayong makkwento sa mga anak, apo at sa ibang to about sa mga naapagdaanan nyo.

We can all admit that we do have times that we just stare on our computer or phones, fingers in our keyboard but somehow find it hard to draft or finish an article.

I was trying to finish an article earlier but my mind got lost somewhere. I stopped and tied TMDA instead. I failed to finish that article because I was in the mood of playing Mobile Legends. The season just ended and I dont want to be stuck on the rank with shuuupid random players hahahahaha!
Alright, at 3am and here's what happened.
**1st attempt: FAILED! S**et to 15 minutes
I was actually having fun and was able to write a few things that popped in my mind. I was already getting the hang of it and find it really cute and challenging. I was already feeling kind of sleepy and I didn't expect that when you stopped writing, the borders and font on your screen will turn red and dissolve. That effect was really alarming and will make you panic on what to do! Deym you!
**2nd attempt:** Failed, set to 15 mins
Of course I can't remember what I wrote on my first attempt. I thought maybe trying again will give me more content and will run smoothly.
Well, it kind of ran smoothly for a few mintues and then for the second time, I lost it. Why? How? The baby cried and of course I would attend to her. Lil B cried while I was typing and she's beside me.
When she cries while sleeping, I usually wait for 10 seconds before I make padede to her so she can continue sleeping. She cried but after a few seconds she slept. She cried again and somehow kicked the table, no reaction so she slept again. Well, she kicked the table again and I thought she felt that it hurts so she cried again. HAHAHAH daym you laptoptable. So you know what happened, I lost it again.
This is my **third attempt** today and at least I was able to finish it. I set it for 5 mins so I can finish it faster so I can sleep and if lil b wakes up I won't lose it again.

Do you celebrate anniversaries? Do you count how long you've been together? How do you celebrate your anniversary?
To be honest, I am not thrilled to celebrate anniversaries. Even in my past relationships, I didn't get a habit celebrating anniversaries, counting months or years we've been together because counting gives me the though that there's a point to stop. I would also overthink situations long before it happen.
Oh by the way, today marks our first wedding anniversary. We didn't plan anything for our first anniversary as we are saving up for something, but we did do a small celebration in advance. Yes, he can't go home today because he's at work, in the province.
Well, let me share a little bit of our love story.....
How I met your father?
My husband and I met on a dating app, Bumble. Both of us we very skeptical about dating sites, but I guess the world has its own way of meeting up two people. I got out from a 9 months? toxic relationship and been single for morethan half a year. Then he also got out from a 6 year? toxic relationship too.
He we talked for a bit at first because I wasn't in the mood to talk to strangers, so I uninstalled the app. After a few months, I got bored again and reinstalled the app that was New year of 2020. I greeted a few guys that I've talked to before and he's one of the guys who greeted me back.
From there, I only felt his vibe a bit different from others. I felt at ease and comfortable which is weird for me. Then after a few days/weeks of talking we decided to meet up. It was also the first time that I agreed to meet up with a total stranger. I made sure to be careful and asked my bestfriend to come with us, she didn't hesitated to come and she was also excited for me.
Fastforward...
We dated a few more times for weeks and on a Valentine's Day he asked me if he can be my boyfriend. I told him to give me more time because I know that I can easily be attached to someone and I just want to make sure that he is not a rebound. A few weeks later, I was ready, I was sure, without any reservation, I wanted him. We became official. :)
Just as soon as we officially became a couple, COVID and lockdowns happened. We became an LDR couple. 6months no physical contact, no face to face dates, no hugs, no kisses. It was hard for me, I wasn't used to that kind of relationship. I wasn't sure if it's gonna work. To my surprise, it was only the not seeing each other personally was our challenge but we got by. We managed to get through it and what's more surprising on my part was I never felt at more ease, at peace, safe and bothered that he's gonna cheat. It was the first time that I felt so secure in a person, while being away from me. He made me feel secure without any efforts. It was somehow natural for him.
Knowing his work and time, he could really get very busy. I would understand if he cannot call me or message me, plus I am not a clingy type of girlfriend (clingy is okay, being too clingy for no reason sometimes is annoying, just to be clear). I wanted to give him space because I myself value my alone time but even if he's busy he still managed to update or even call me. It wasn't a 24/7 cctv camera situation but he made sure to see me or talk to me every night before we go to sleep.
After 6 months of being away from each other, he managed to go back to Manila for a week and for sure we missed each other. We tried to live in together for a couple of months and then boom! Guess who's knocked up? HAHAHHAA.
Then we were blessed with our Lil B, before I gave birth his parents wanted us to get married so that we don't have to worry about our baby's legal documents soon.
Did we change?
Me? ahahha yes, a lot. From physical to every aspect of my being. I've changed. I even told him that before I gave birth that I may not be the one he married. That things may change drastically after I gave birth, which it did but I would tell him to be more patient and understanding with me or in the situation. No worries, I am still the same person he knew but with less patience HAHAHAHA.
Him? Nope, he didn't change at all. We are still on an LDR setup but he goes home frequently now than before. He still manages to find time to call us even when he's busy. He still manages to greet us goodnight everynight. Oh one thing changed, sometimes I feel like he only calls me to see Lil B, not me. HAHAHAHA. That's why I love him more everyday.
How did we celebrate our first anniversary?
We actually celebrated in advance, last week when he got home unexpectedly. We had a quick date after we applied for a Postal ID. The 3 of us had a quick date.
I even told my husband to consider that as an advance wedding anniversary celebration. :)
I don't like anything fancy or grand, maybe once in a while yes I would appreciate it but I would appreciate it more if we celebrate it together. Well given in our situation, we can't be together but it's not a big deal. I have a ring on my finger with his name and he has a ring on his finger with my name, that's what matters to me.
Besides, we still have a lifetime to celebrate for our anniversary. What's important is we got each other's backs and we promised to be each other's pain in the aSH.

I suck at love letters and messages because I always say how I feel. Good or bad. Important or not. Maybe I suck in giving sweet messages, I'll show it instead.
I am just lucky to have my husband in every little way. He's hand perfectly fits mine and I only want to tell you that I miss you whenever you're away. I miss your smell, I miss the feeling when you skon touches mine, I miss annoying you in person. I miss everything, sometimes I get pissed off if I don't hear your voice. Just don't forget that I love you and I will always be beside you. He may not read this and he knows this already.

I do apologize if most of my articles are mommy stories, it just so happen that I was just a first time mom and I started posting articles when my Lil B was around 3 to 4 months old. I have nothing to write about that time and all that I can share was my birthing and me as a first time mom experience.
I am not a bloggy, flowery, wordful type of person and my vocab is mmmeeeeh, that's why I find it hard to start writing articles here on @Read.Cash. I also do not know what topics are catchy, I do not know anything about crypto too. So, I just typed and typed and hope that someone will notice my articles. Months passed by, I've gained subscribers little by little, slowly but surely. I've gained sponsors. I've gained virtual friends that I can talk to about certain things, which is very nice and therapeutic in a sense. I've read articles that kept my sanity.

Kung magkaroon ka man ng kaibigan sa online class, hindi ba nagiging awkward kapag nagkita na kayo in person? Mas palagay ka pa dn ba magkwento kapag nagusap na kayo in person?

**Cheated on an exam**
Gradeschool. No.
High School. Yes. HAHAHAHAHA. Actually eto yung pinakamemorable na part samin. Team work ang klase.
Pagquarterly exams namin, alternate ang bigay samin ng papers. Like for 2 hours na exam 1 hour per subj. Example, Biology and Algebra, 1st row magtake muna ng Bio then 2nd row Algebra then alternate na sa next rows. Ngayon, kapag ang pinakamagaling sa math tumayo na at nagpasa na ng paper, kinakabahan na pero may iniwan syang mga bakas. Nagsasaboy sya ng papel sa kung saan saan after nya tumayo. Minsan ginagawa din namin, na nagpapalit kami mismo ng papel. Kaya sa loob ng 2 hours, meron samin na isang subj lang sasagutan for 2 hours. Nagsisipaan kami ng upuan, kapag magtatanungan kami yung nakaupo sa harap ng blackboard, kakaskas ng konting chalk sa daliri tapos pasimpleng isusulat ang sagot sa board kapag nakatalikod ang bantay.
One time, halos maperfect ng isa naming classmate yung exam sa isang subj. Pagkaiwan nya ng mga bakas, sabay sabi na magmali ng isa o dalawang item. Dapat magkakaibang number yung mali namin para hindi halata kasi pagparepareho ng mali alam na yern!
Ang pinakamalupit dito eh yung teacher namin sa Music. Saamin kasi hindi class adviser ang nagbabantay. Iba ibang teacher per section ang nagbabantay, salitan sila. Kaya gusto lahat ng estudyante na si Sir Guerzon ang magbantay (Music Teacher). Sisilip pa yan sa labas ng corridor kung may ibang teacher na pakalat kalat. Tapos sasabi sya samin na magCCR lang daw sya *wink* tapos wag lang daw kami maingay. AYUN! it's time na HAHAHAHAHAHAH!
Nalala ko din 3rd year High School kami, nagalit ang teacher namin sa Trigonometry kasi hindi nya matanggap na andaming nakapasa sa exam nya. Halata daw na nagkopyahan ang klase pero walang umamin. Wala talagang umamin, walang tumahol kasi buong batch namin damay HAHAHAHAHA! Ayun, binalikan kami sa ibang bagay ng teacher na yun. Binalikan kami sa grade sa recitation kaya biglang madaming mababa ang grade.
Alam din kasi ng teacher na un yung hirap ng curriculum namin. May chance kaming madrop out kapag di ka pasok sa bracket lalo na sa mga Math and Science na subj. Yun kasi ang major subjects samin, marami kaming math and science na subject sa isang year.

Gradeschool, no. Nakakatop three din naman ako kaso di sapat.
Highschool. Oo ata, kasi wala nakong pakelam, mataas man ang grade ko nun parang di pa din enough sa magulang ko.

Hindi naman masyado, pero nung college ako usually late ako kasi galing akong work.

College years, yes. hahahhaa Malapit lang ang school namin sa SM Sta. Mesa tapos meron pa sila dun na 20-25 pesos na sine ata. Ayun tambay kami don HAHAHAHA

Wala naman, pero naalala ko na nagpass out ako nung may event ang Girl Scouts nung HighSchool ako.

Hindi naman talaga ako yung naginitiate, bali gumanti lang ako sa iba. Nauso noon yung ballpen na may kuryente pag pindot mo. Retractable kasi yung pen. Tapos badtrip yung mga classmates ko, attendance daw kasi from classroom lumipat kami sa Bio lab. Tawang tawa kami kasi lahat nabiktima nila. Tapos yung may pasimuno, binigay sa Bio teacher namin yung paper tska pen tapos pinindot nya den. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Pero in fairness di naman sya nagalit natawa lang din sya samin.

Di naman nawawala ang field trip nung gradeschool.

OO. HAHAHAHA. May times kasi na binabaha yung school namin. Bilang nasa public school kami wala kaming janitor so kapag binaha ang school, suspended ang classes pero kelangan namin magtulungan maglinis kapag humupa na ang baha. So minsan kapag nagkukulitan na, nagbabasaan na kami. HIHIHIHIH!
At dito nagtatapos ang estudyante serye ko. Charot hahahah! Jusko, ngayon iniisip ko na kung ano kayang klaseng estudyante ang anak ko paglaki HAHAHAHAHA.
I just can't wait na lumaki sya at ishare ko at mga ninang nya ang mga kalokohan namin nung teenager pa kami hahaha.

I Carried You - pregnancy questions

It was 10 months ago when I gave birth and I still can't forget how it feels like and how happy I was hearing and holding my Lil B for the first time.
Thanks to my fellow mommies here (too many to mention), @Momentswithmatti tagged me to this prompt. How can I say no to this, I love answering questions especially this is one of my most precious memories.
Alright, you ready? Oh if you are a mother, I'd love to see you do this prompt too. I love reading different experiences.

CS/C-section, it was an emergency CS. I was pretty confident that I will have a normal delivery but things turned around. I had a c-section because my water broke and my cervix wasn't dilating fast enough.
Here's what happened.....
I went to my OB for check up in the morning and she already checked if my cervix is already open. It was about 1cm that time, time check around 9to 10am. It was around 8pm the same day when my water broke. We went to the hospital, checked my cervix again and the nurse said it was around 2cm but water was already gushing out as if I took a bath. She called my OB told about what happened and told me that we may need to have a c-section. I waited for my OB and around 9pm, she checked my cervix and again, water gushed out and told me that it was nearly 2cm wide. At that rate, my water may run out if they will check it every now and then that my put the baby in danger.
I didn't know what to do so I needed to call my husband and i am glad that I didn't wait because I was actually planning to wait for a few more hours to see if I will progress. They prepped me right away for c-section and once they got her head out I heard them saying **'uy chord coil, buti na lang!'** My Ob told me that it was almost too tight that's why they needed to cut it before letting her totally out.
I know that chord coil can be seen in the ultrasound but understand why they didn't see it. Why? When I had ny CAS (Congenital Anomaly Scan), the doctor didn't see her left body parts and her face. She hid her face and totally tucked in.

I can still remember my mother asked the magbibinatog to always drop by our house every afternoon. Then after 3 or 4months my *paglilihi* stopped but he still drops by our house hahahaa.

Bebi gorl! It was seen clearly during my first pelvic ultrasound. I was planning to have a little gender reveal for my in-laws but my mother can't wait.
Well, she did look like a boy up until now that's why I want her to have earrings.

To my hometown, Marikina sitiiiiiii! I gave birth to the same hospital my sister did. We were lucky enough to have a maternity hospital nearby because I don't have to worry on other patients in the hospital. I mean, I don't have to worry about getting COVID in that hospital because they only cater women, pregnant woment and children.

I was kind of waiting and hoping to feel the pain of labor and I always ask my OB how would I know if I am already in labor. She said, 'It's very painful and you won't miss it for sure'.
Well, I was pretty attentive enough to notice that MAYBE I am already in labor but I didn't tell my sisters or parents. Here's how it went.
Around past 7pm, dinner time we were chitchatting while finishing our dinner, I felt a very light poke at the back of my pelvic bone thinking it was just a normal back pain. Suddenly at around 8pm, I noticed that poking feeling comes and goes, so I monitored how long the interval was. It was about 15 to 20 mins interval, then I knew that I was already in labor but I still didn't tell my sisters because I was still waiting for a severe pain.
Around 8:30pm, I played Mobile Legends with my husband while on videocall and when I lost, I took a wiwi and then boom! My water broke. The poke like sensation was still there.

I weighed more than 60kgs. Oh wait, the baby. hahahahha! Sarreh, Lil B weighed 3kgs. My OB actually was a bit shocked during the last few weeks of my check up as I gained weight faster and she asked me to stop taking multivitamins.

This is the first time that I am going to reveal Lil B's name. Her name is Saoirse Marion.

We were checking out a few names online as my husband wants to name her with a meaning. So that when she goes to school and if the teacher asks what her name means, she have something to present.
One of the names I suggested was to use their sister's name, Marjorie. She passed away years ago so we didn't get a chance to meet her.
One day, my husband told me that she might have found a name but doesn't know how to say it. Then he told me it means FREEDOM, he was hesitant at first to share the name until he said it. I told him that it is pronounced as *Seer-shah.* It's an Irish name, that's why it is complicated to spell and to pronounce. Check this link for more cute Irish names. By the way, I agreed to this name but my husband still tried to think of other names because he doesn't want her to have a hard time introducing herself to other people. I told my husband that's why she needed a second name. I suggested Marion as it is a combination of our names. One of his friends commented on this name, that she might grow up as a lesbian if that's going to be her name. I was like, WTF?!?? Why????! And if she will, so what. Anyway, I told my husband to think of other names that he wants for our baby before I give birth but he didn't hahahaa. So yes, I gues that's her name. Being a Mom VS. Being a Wife

A sudden realization of life hit me just the other week. Being a first time mom, I was excited and at the same time challenged on how my life will be. It was a total adjustment from 0 to 10. Not what I imagined but I at least I got a heads up from some people in my life on how my life would be once I become a mother.
Lil B just turned 10months and honestly I've been counting on how long my life has changed from a careless, idgaf person that I was, to a trying-hard-to-be-a-responsible mother.
I know that life of a mother is hard, from my mother's experience, to my sister, to my friends and my other relatives but I can't emphatize because I wasn't a mom yet. All I know was it was harder to control a toddler than infants. It's hard to raise a child but what I didn't know is it was different from taking care of a child and taking care of your husband or just simply to be a good wife.
See that? How are we gonna do that? How are we gonna be happy in a certain or different aspects of life?
Have I told you that I wasn't blessed with lots of patience? I do love challenges and adventures but being a mother is different, being a wife is different.
Last week my husband went home again and he would always thank me for taking care of Lil B. He knows and feels that I am tired. That's what I also love about my husband, he appreciates and acknowledges my efforts as a mother. When he thanked me for taking care of our baby, I told him *'It's not a big deal, I can adjust so she can be healthy. Pero* ***ang hirap pala maging asawa at nanay at the same time****. Di ako prepared, pero I can get by.'*
That thought passed my mind when we attended a wedding in Cabanatuan. I don't know what to do. Of course, priority is taking care of Lil B but how can take care of my husband at the same time. I felt rattled, tired, rushed, restless and other words that you can describe. Imagine we just went on a short road trip and I am already tired and restless, what more for those moms who are working in the office and at the same time taking care of their kids, those moms who had to work 2 jobs. I even told my husband when we had a small fight, *'hindi ko na naaasikaso si bb ng maayos'.* I want to do things for my husband at the same time I needed to be a mom. For the record, my husband does help me in taking care of Lil B and preparing our things but he is so relaxed that it usually takes him longer to finish.
I admit that I want to have an alone time or date with my husband, it's been a while since went out on a date. We can't even celebrate our first wedding anniversary together because of his work. **I also feel like I am failing as a wife.**
I also felt sorry for my husband because I know he feels like she doesn't know how to take care of Lil B and everytime he comes home he would tell me *'Hon ang laki na nya noh, dati takot na takot ako buhatin sya ngayon nanapak na.'* I would always laugh and tell him, kaya nga we needed to be together na and I think she's big enough so I can already manage chores at home.
I am also happy that when my husband comes home, the Lil B gets very excited and would only come to me if she needs more comfort or milk but most of the time **she likes to be with daddy**. She's even more maarte when daddy is home, she's like making pacute everytime.
I am really thinking that I am gonna be the *Kontrabida* hahahah. One time I let my husband feed Lil B her breakfast and Lil B did something then my husband told me *'Hon si bb oh, pagalitan mo nga'.* I told him, *'nako eto na simula na ata ako maging kontrabida hahahha!'.*
Now that my husband is back in the province, Lil B's crying more and I feel like she's looking for daddy, which kind of breaks my heart a little. Don't worry lil B, daddy's is in the cellphone hahaha!
I just want to have a short message for all the boys/men, father, boyfriends out there.

Baby cosplay - Boku No Hero Academia 10

Damn. Time flies so fast. My husband and I still think about how little Lil b was when she got out in the world. Then last week, we just celebrated her 10th month. Imagine that! Just two more months, she's na gonna be a year old Lil b.
Hmmm, to be honest I was already running out of ideas who she gonna dress up as. Good thing I already bought onesies before so I wouldn't feel rushed for her monthly milestone photoshoot. By the way, I wasn't as prepared as before because we were kind of a little busy when my husband gets home.
Oh mahgash, in 2 months it's already her birthday. 😯😯
Anyway, I already bought a Boku No Hero Academia (My Hero Academia) onesie.
I only purchased the student's uniform for Physical Activities or their PE uniform because I don't think that I can get a specific costume as one of the characters. Instead, I would like her to be a part of the academy and be one of the students. She has her own quirk you know, or she might be the next Almight! Who knows hahhaha!
Oh I also have a cloth diaper with My Hero Academia print hihi.
Since I wasn't prepared this month for her monthly milestone this month, I kind of felt like my efforts wasn't enough to get a good photoshoot that day. By the way, we were also a bit tired before we did the photoshoot because it was our lola's 40th day since she passed away. So we went to our tita's house for the padasal and had a little bonding time as well.
We got home in the after noon, with a very very irritating temperature.
Anyway, I was asking my sisters and husband what's gonna be Lil B's powers? Still thinking of a concept until I saw my IronMan and Captain America stuffed toys. I got it! She's gonna be a super strong baby, and use my stuffed toys as props as if she defeated the Avengers hahahah!
We just did a quick photoshoot because Lil B wasn't in the mood. I let her sleep before we take pictures and when she got up, she doesn't feel like taking pictures. We only got a few pictures that she looks happy. Huhu.
For the food, there wasn't a signature food on the anime that we can buy. Instead, we just choose to order fried noodles and frappe which I also made as a prop.

Milestones
Now let's see what are her milestones during her 10th month.
4th tooth came out
She knows how to wave Bbye.
She plays pickaboo (bulaga) just by covering her one eye.
She's more clingy to daddy when he's home
She can stand firmly now and just sits up when she's tired.
She got out in the world and visited a few places.
She can babble Mamamamamama, dadadada shouts, rayaaaaa (her cousin)and tatatatatata (her lolo)
Likes to watch disney songs Encanto songs, Lava song in Moana, or kpop songs
She dances to every sound that she can hear.
She can now crawl in a distance (from living room to our bedroom) as long as there are no distractions
She doesn't like to be put in the crib but likes to play and sit down on the sofa.
She also gained a few pounds, I really thought that she will lose weight because she can't eat well when her upper teeth came out.
Well, that's all for now. If I still ran out of ideas I will resort to my last option and it's just gonna be another low cost cosplay HAHAHAHAH!

I Blonded My Hair

A lady's hair is their crowning glory, well it's everyoone's crowing glory. That's why boys, girls, men and women take time fixing or doing their hair. There's nothing wrong with hair care, there are men who also has hair care routine just like other men who has skin care routine.
Well, let's talk about my hair.

*Oh by the way, I just want to put a little disclaimer that I am not a hair professional but I've been dyeing my hair since 2012. I've tried several products that damaged and worked on my hair.*

It has been a while since I last dyed or bleached my hair. It was hard for me to resist when I got pregnant and after I gave birth because, I would always dye my hair almost every month or after less than 2 months. My friends already got used to it and would also share what color might look good in me.
When I got pregnant, of course I cannot dye my hair due to its smell and it's contents that my harm my Lil B inside me. After 9months my roots grew and my white hairs were waving hello. Of course after giving birth, I still can't dye my hair. I was only able to dye my hair around 2-3 months after giving birth. I just bleached my hair.
And now...
After 6 to 7 months of not dyeing again...
The horror of white hairs are becoming stronger than ever! 6 to 7 months = to 6 to 7 inches of natural hair and white hairs. That's when I decided to do something about it.
It's time...
Oh wait...
I decided to dye or bleach my hair again for the wedding that we will attend. My husband wants us to go because he also wants to introduce us to his co-workers too. Well, he wants to flaunt his lil B hahaha! Of course if that's he's reason, I can't just simply show up as a haggard wife and mother. He's also supportive about me dyeing my hair too.
Unfortunately, time is our enemy that time and I wasn't able to bleach my hair the way I wanted to. I was supposed to bleach my hair 2 because of my roots, but instead I did one session of bleach and just applied a purple conditioner so my hair hair won't be bright as a sun.

So here's how it looked like....
Last week, the husband went home unexpectedly and I found a chance to retouch or do my 2nd bleaching session. He and Lil b can have a quality time hihihi.
I asked my sister to do it because I want to make pantay the color so I asked her to use a foil so I can have better results.
Oh I would also like to share the products that I used.
I found a super duper affordable bleaching powder on Shopee!
If you have long hair, I strongly recommend to prepare a bleaching mixture in a large or big container so that you won't have to mix again if it's not enough. The tendency is the mixture or the proportion of the bleaching powder and oxidizing lotion will not be the same as your first mixture unless you have a measuring cup. Remember, the ratio should be 1:1.
Alright, let me share the steps on how I bleached my hair.
Prepare the bleaching powder, oxidizing lotion, brush, hair pins, container and gloves. Don't forget to use gloves as bleaching powder are strong and it stings to the skin. You might also damage your nails.
Mix the bleaching powder and oxidizing lotion. As mentioned above, it should be 1part bleaching powder and 1 part oxidizing lotion. If you are using a boxed bleach set, just follow the instructions on the box, if you are using a bleaching powder better use a measuring cup. I don't use a measuring cup because... hahahhahaha, I got tips from the store where I buy hair products. The consistency should be like a ***melted icecream.***
Apply to hair. I would like to share a few tips.
Do not wash your hair before bleaching.
Apply oil to your SCALP, not to your hair.
Start from the bottom layer of your hair. (hair near you nape)
Apply at least an inch away from the roots/scalp
Then after applying bleach to all parts of your hair, you can now apply bleach to your roots. Why apply bleach to the roots last? Because it lightens faster than the tips of your hair strand and the longer the bleach stays in your hair may damage your scalp too.
Use a foil to have even and better results.
After applying, check your hair to see if you have achieved the blonde or lightness that you want and rinse. 30 mins will do but do continue checking every 10mins.
Do a 2nd bleaching session if you still want to achieve a lighter color. REMINDER: the lightness of your hair will depend on your hair type and color. Some people have dark hair but thin hair strands like me so I only need to bleach my hair once or twice. I know some people who have dark hair and thick hair strands, that may need a longer incubation (foil method) time or a few more bleaching sessions.
Apply purple shampoo or toner (optional). If you will dye your hair again in a different color, no need to use purple shampoo. This is only used if you want have a blonde hair, silver, platinum blonde hair. It neutralizes brassy color after bleaching so your hair won't look yellow.
I have used Wella T18 toner - I do not recommend it as it works like bleach too and stronger.
I don't recommend Clairol Shimmer lights Purple Shampoo - good effect but my hair became so DRY after using it once or twice
I've used, Lorea'l Purple shampoo - pricy and you need to use it several times to see its effect.
I also have tried Technicolor's Purple shampoo. I liked it at first or the first batch that they manufactured but the 2nd time that I purchased their purple shampoo, it seems like they only mixed a purple dye and a conditioner and the purple tone will stay.
*I also apply the purple shampoo like a hair dye and leave it for 5mins, leaving it on too long may turn your hair purple too but can be washed out.

I know, I know... I will still do some purple shampoo sessions whenever I take a bath. :)
The top part of my hair looks lighter because I used a foil hahahaha. I am trying to bring back this hair.
I was able to achieve this shade by only using a purple shampoo after bleaching. I think that was 5 sessions of using purple shampoo or 2 weeks. I don't use it everyday though. It was also easy for me to achieve last time because I have short hair.
Don't worry my hair is damaged due to bleaching ahahaha!
I put argan oil (just 1 to 2 drops) to damp hair before letting it dry. You can also try to use baby oil (just a few drops too).

Uy, may tumakas ng date nung isang araw hahahaha! Hindi ko alam pero ang feeling ko tumakas kami ng date, kaming mag-asawa. Ay teka pasensya na English na naman ang title ko pero tagalog na naman ako. Since maaraw at mainet, sabi ko kay husband kain kami dun malapit sa Highschool ko dati kasi may Razons dun na nakainan din namin 2 years ago. While walking, nakita namin bigla na di pala sya Razons, Rodics pala magkakulay and halos parehas ng font kasi sa logo. Pero di kami kumain doon hahhahaah! Dun kami sa tabi na nun pumasok and kulit kasi ng name tska natuwa si husband kapangalan daw ni Lil B.
Pagkapasok, maganda naman ang ambiance and malinis. Okay din ang tables and chairs plus, kami lang yung andoon hahaha. Binigyan kami ng menu....
Tinignan ang price, napalunok ako ng konting laway HAHAHAHAHA! Sabi ko kay husband, 'Hon kunyari Anniv date nalang natin to ha' HAHAHA! Ayun syempre wala na kaming nagawa kasi andun na kami sa loob. Nagorder n lang kami while waiting kami sa food, nagpicture muna kami kasama si Lil B syempre.
Nakakatuwa kasi ang likot at ang daldal ni Lil B while andun kami. Syempre di ko naman makakalimutan na magdala din ng snacks niya.
Waiting pa kami ng ilang minutes and picture then, dumating na ang food. Nagulat kami, kasi ang dami ng serving. I was expecting na konti ang serving nya as in yung serving na kulang pa para sa isang tao ganern, pero NO, enough na sya for 2 people which made the price reasonable naman. Masarap din sya infairness kaya worth it naman ang pagkain namin doon. Before we started eating, biglang bumuhos yung ulan sa labas at buti na lang nasa loob na kami ng kainan. Good thing that we decided to eat dun kasi baka inabutan kami ng ulan while bitbit namin si Lil B.
While we were eating, nakakatuwa kasi pati yung mga staff dun naririnig kung gaano kaingay si Lil B and ginagaya nila so sumasagot naman yung anak namin kapag naririnig nya. Lagi na lang syang napapansin kung saan saan and sabi nung nagserve samin na buti di sya iyakin. Well, di naman talaga sya iyakin unless gutom or antok na, pero maingay sya hahahha! Either dadaldalin ka nya or sisigaw sya para makuha atensyon mo. Pagpasensyahan nyo na si Lil B, di pa nya alam ang concept ng paghina at paglakas ng boses.
Hindi na kami nag madaling kumain kasi kami lang naman yung andun. Ayaw din matulog ni Lil B kapag nasa labas naooverwhelm ata sa kakaibang surroundings kaya kahit antok na antok na sya, pinipilit pa din dumilat.
Nagdiscuss din kami about sa plans namin, regarding Lil B's birthday, binyag, san kami magsettle and pano, etc. Isa talaga sa goal namin eh yung maging magkakasama kami.
Honestly, I envy those families who are together. I know that I shouldn't think about it that way, I guess I wasn't just used to it. We are already working on our situation so the three of us can be together, Lil B is growing fast and I can see the twinkle in her eyes whenever she sees her father home. :)

Maximizing Time Together - Postal ID edition

I always document or post articles of our activities as a family. Why? Because my husband goes home every now and then. Most of the time he can only go home for just a few days for work reasons and there were only rare times that he can go home for a full week on his days off.
Well, well, well, hubby is home for a week. It wasn't planned but I am still happy that he decided to go home so we can spend time and he can also relax his mind off from work for a few days.
I mentioned in my previous articles that whenever my husband is home, I feel rushed and I always feel like the days will run quickly and I needed to set a schedule everyday. Since the alert levels are lowered and Lil B is already quite big enough to see the world, we can also take her with us if we have to do something outside our home. It's also nice to take her out because at her age, she should already be observing other things than what we have at home. It's good for her development too.
Daddy was home just this Tuesday and of course we took time to rest and he can also enjoy his quality time with Lil B. I also noticed that whenever my husband is here, Lil B seemed to act sweeter and pabebe-er to her daddy. There were times that she would go to daddy than to me. I don't mind it to be honest, instead I felt happy that she doesn't feel distant to her daddy given in our situation.

Yesterday, we took a chance to go to the post office and get our Postal ID. I don't have any IDs other than my PhilHealth and TIN ID. I am also excited to get my first ID with my married name. Oh remember when my husband and I applied to get a National ID which we will get within 6 months? I will also share something about this later. So for the meantime, let's see what happened yesterday.
*Should we bring you or not?*
I asked my husband if we should bring Lil B with us, he says yes but we planned to go to the post office after lunch and she usually takes a nap after lunch time. My father told me to bring her so she can have a different view or surroundings but after we had our lunch, he told me not to bring her if she's sleepy. I was also hesitant to leave Lil B to my sister and father at home. Good thing that she took a nap after eating, so did daddy. At around 2pm, both of them woke up and we decided to go to the post office. Yes, we also decided to bring Lil B with us.
How to get a Postal Id?

Postal ID is the easiest and fastest ID application that you can get. You also have a Rush ID option to release your ID within the next business day. Well, that also depends on your post office. When we got to the Post Office, I checked the signs and reminders posted before we go to the counter and noticed that Rush ID applications takes 5 business days to be released. I do understand that they have to adjust the timeframes due to the volume of applications that they receive everyday.

Our post office only required 1 copy for each document that you will submit. Remember to bring the original PSA copy of your birth certificate/marriage contract too.
We already have a print out of our application forms but the lady who assisted us on the counter still gave us blank application forms, just in case. Then we prepared the requirements and submitted it on the assigned window.
Hubby's requirements were good, I on the other hand got a bit of a problem because I forgot to get a baranggay certificate. Good thing that the person in charge, also looked for a way so we don't have to go back. He asked me what other IDs do I have (Philhealth and TIN), I gave my TIN ID and checked it. Then he told us that I can use my TIN ID instead but the address on the ID's and the application form doesn't match. The address on my TIN ID was our old house which is already owned by my uncle and the address on my application form was our apartment address here. He asked me to change the address that's registered on my TIN ID instead and it should be good. We agreed and then paid for the fee and waited for our number to be called on queue.
The fee is 504 pesos but for Rush ID, that's 650 pesos each. We opted to get the Rush ID as I needed a valid ID as soon as possible. We prepared and checked our documents again while waiting on the line for our ID picture and biometrics to be taken. My husband went first because I still have Lil B with me. After my husband's turn, I went to the booth to take the picture and biometrics. The kuya told me to retouch if I needed to while he scans the documents. I told him 'de kuya okay na to', me thinking di naman ako gaganda kung magreretouch pa ko hahhaha! I just took off my cap and tied my hair back.
Now, biometrics part again, it's digital so I have to wipe my fingers dry for a few seconds before I put on my finger on the scanner. First attempt, madiin daw masyado and the kuya asked if my fingers might be wet. So I made punas punas ulit my thumb and the kuya told me to just lightly press my finger instead. This always happen in any biometrics as I really have a sweaty hands, and feet, and armpits HAHAHAHHAA! I am a very sweaty person.
Then he asked me to check all the details before he save it and while he's encoding the details he asked me to check my last name. I told him, yes as I will use my last name hyphenated to my husband's last name. Oh by the way, I still find it annoying that when I say my hyphenated last name, other people correct me as if I am doing it wrong.
Side story, one time I went to the hospital for a check up and my OB requested to do a urinalysis. The nurse who took my request and listed my name asked my last name and told her to put Mine-Husband's last name. Then she asked if I am married, I told her, yes I am and I will use that format as my last name. She quite lectured me that once a woman gets married, we take over our husband's last name and just simply puts my husband's last name on the form instead. That kind of got me but I don't want a long conversation out of it and since she's quite a traditional aged lady, I just shrugged it off.
Going back, the kuya saved the request after checking the details and gave the claiming stub. I can claim the ID 5 days after. By the way, the Postal ID is valid for 3 years only.
YEY! I can't wait to have my ID and I can also claim my husband's ID too.
***Oh by the way, while he was scanning and saving the request I also asked the kuya because while we were waiting in line, we heard a lady asking someone where she can claim her National ID. I immediately turned my head around and observed her. I asked the kuya about it too, he told me that National IDs can be claimed in the post office too for those who don't want to wait for it to be delivered at home (which could take 4-6 months or longer). Of course, I asked how and when I can I claim my National ID. I told him that we submitted the application in Pasig (Ayala Feliz) and he asked me to track the request online. There's a tracking number on the claiming stub and once it's indicated that the ID is already in our city's post office, I can already go there to claim it.***
I emphasized this part so if you already have applied for a National ID and still haven't received it for months or years, maybe you can try this one and let me know if you got it. If some of you have alreasy tried claiming their National ID from the post office, let me know too. Sharing is caring!
Since I am just waiting for a few more days for our Postal ID to be released, I can now enroll in a driving school Theoretical Driving Course so I can get a student permit. I need to take the Theoretical Driving Course while my husband is home so I can use his laptop because I already dismantled my pc.
My husband is bugging me to get a driver's license and get my IDs as soon as possible too. Now, I plan to get a UMID soon too.
I strongly recommend for students or people who are 18 above to already get their postal IDs too.

Saved a Thousand Peso Again

What a lovely day! Sorry I am just so happy because my husband is back home after a week. It wasn't planned because I told him to go to Cebu so he can celebrate his parent's birthday this week. Well something came up the other day and he thought that I was angry, so he decided to book a flight. It was annoying that he didn't tell me that he would go home to us but quite sweet too. *Me kilig* char! I know that's his little way to say 'I'm sorry'.
Alright, let's go to back to the main channel!
My husband has been complaining about his phone's battery as has been draining quickly and the back cover of his phone already popped up. By the way, he's using a Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro phone since 2020, which we bought as a 2nd hand phone. It was still in a very good condition and we took advantage of its price. I actually love that phone and specially its camera features.
We were kind of in a tight budget lately because of what happened on our Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija tour. We have to pay for the damages on the car that we rented. (Check out what happened here). Instead of buying a new phone, we decided to buy a replacement battery instead. Oh, some of you might already know that my husband and I love to DIY. He replaced his laptop's fan, I replaced my phone's LCD just a few months ago and now, we decided to replace his phone's battery. **Here's how:**
*Purchased a replacement battery on Shopee* - I know that buying spare parts online is very risky. I have to check and evaluate before deciding from which store will I check out the item from. I also have to consider the timeframe for delivery so I can install the battery when my husband is home. The battery was delivered within 3 days after I checked out my order and good thing he decided to book a flight and just got home today.
*Tools* - We already have tools prepared as he purchased it last year when he repaired his laptop last year. The tools came to be pretty handy for us since we love to *butingting* our gadgets hahahha!
*How to repair/replace parts -* Oh we are not technicians, we just came to be a little bit butingtingero when it comes to gadgets. Before we replace the battery, of course we needed a guide on what and how to do it. Well Google and Youtube are quite helpful when it comes to these things. Tadah! After watching the video, we proceeded to follow how to remove the battery. Well we don't have to worry opening the back cover because it battery is already bloated that caused the back cover to be removed. Removing the back cover is time consuming and the hardest part when you repair a phone.
Let's see if we did well.
Step 1: remove the cover
Step 2: remove the screws and remove the cover
Step 3: remove the battery and motherboard connection
Step 4: Remove the battery. This was tricky as the battery still has a pretty intact adhesive.
I also made a mistake when I tried to remove the battery. I watched a video that they slid a little bit of alcohol to remove the battery, which I followed and didn't work. So my husband took over in removing the battery and followed JerryRig's instructions to remove the battery.
step 5: don't close and put back everything yet. It is a must to film everything from removing the parts to replacing and testing the part so you have a proof if it's defective since I bought it online.
Whew! It's done and good as new.
One thing that we noticed is the label on the battery seemed to be not original or OEM unlike what it says on the product description.
Now since the battery works fine, we already put back the cover to close it and test the battery's life span, drain it so we can charge it properly.
TADAAAAAH! We saved money again. Now my husband will not be annoyed whenever his phone dies. I also love the fact that my husband flaunts to his friends that I've been fixing things for us.
Anyway, if I can make it as a living I would chaaar!

Just a little side story that I want to share because of the title, 'Drunkness and a Leg Fetish', I remembered some people close to me at work. We used to drink whenever we had a chance. Our previous company also didn't mind how we dress as long as it's decent enough to go to the office. Decent enough meaning, we can dress down everyday. Dress down meaning we can wear shorts. The people close to me would tell me not to wear shorts cause they were blinded by the light. Char. Let me share a few pictures years ago, just to give you an idea on what my style is.
Some of my guy friends, being boys and being a little too protective and conservative of me, would tell me not to wear shorts or would joke around and say 'Did you run out of pants again?'. Of course I would tease them back, punch them or put my leg on their face (not literally hahaha) and of course curse them. Then one time, when we had a drinking session fetish came up and some of them have leg or feet fetish. That's the first time that I heard a guy share something like that, wo they would share and we would tease women's feet that they've seen.
Now, let's go back to this fun prompt and bring back some memorable unmemorable memories. Here's how it goes:
Let's get it on! I will also share some stories, if I can still remember some, because there were too many drunk stories. HAHAHAHAHA! I might add a few questions too.
When and what was your first alcoholic drink?
I was still in 3rd year highschool and my first was red horse.
STORY TIME!
Our school organizes like night party after our Christmas party wherein it is open to all students in the school. We can dress up, party, dance, have fun and mingle with the other students. We call it Socialization party.
After our Socialization party, my bestfriends and I, the four of us went to the riverbank which was just a few minutes walk from our school. Jaed asked us if we wanted to buy beer in the convenience store before we go there. We were wearing civilian outfit so no one will know that we are still minors and students. Well Jaed was the one who bought the beer cause she looked like she always buy beer from the store. We wrapped the bottle in paper bag and went to the riverbank. We looked for a spot where we can hide and drink. We did drink it but it took us time to open the bottle. We don't have a bottle opener with us and we've been trying tricks on how to open it from the videos that we watched like using a coin, a piece of metal, the edge of a table. It took us a while and I felt like we look very suspicious doing something in one corner hahahaha!
Since it was already late in the evening, there were patrol cars roaming around the area and we panicked. We immediately wrapped the bottle and act like nothing happened. We decided to go home as we panicked but we hesitated to leave the bottle there. Trish found a way to dispose the bottle. After the patrol passed by far enough from us, she slid the bottle from the paperbag into the river. Then we quickly walked away, like nothing happened.
When was the first time you got drunk?
It was around 2008, October when my bestfriends and I had our Octoberfest (because it was Trish's birthmonth). Since we were already in college and we had different class schedules, we decided to celebrate Trish's birthday every week of October which became our Octoberfest celebration. We would always buy icecream afterwards.
When was the last time you got hammered?
HAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH. Deym, I have to check my timeline for this. I also took time erasing my answer for the thought that 'oh no, this happened after that'.
My former workmates wanted to chill and drink after our shift. We were still waiting for our salary day for us to drink but our peronal anxiety is already going strong, then I decided to buy our drink instead. I still don't have much responsibilities so I didn't mind.We bought, Primera cause it's sweet for my taste and red horse.
We went to my friend's apartment for the drinking session. We talked about how bullshit our lives are HAHAHHAHA. Then I realized that the two of us didn't eat enough during our lunch break. We drank some more beer and smoke some more and tadaaaah our worlds were spinning in the tune of Kylie Minogues's 'I'm spinning around, move out of my waaaay. What's the most stupid or craziest think you did under the influence?
Punching one of my ex, because he was also drunk and got jealous. I am He basically made a scene on my bestfriend's birthday, infront of my bestfriends family, workmates, and college friends. So for him to cut it out, I punched him in the gut.
I don't know if that's something crazy but it was the first time that I punched someone infront of everyone and I still find it funny.

Oh I think I answered that earlier. I love anything flavored. Flavored beer or cocktail drinks, wine, moscatto or mompok char! not mompok hahahha.
We also love mixing drink. Affordable of course, we have tried mixing gin or tequila to sprite, pineapple juice and blue gatorate. We also have tried mixing condensed milk, strawberry juice to gin. We also have tried the ones they called bloody mary drink, that's red horse and strawberry juice.
I don't like to walwal na these days, maybe because I am tired to get too hammered and I just want to drink to relax.
What's the brand or kind of alcohol beverage that you won't like to drink again?
GSM blue, I still find that drink cursed. HAHAHAHHA! Oh one more, The Bar. Those two drinks are NO NO to me. Look at the girl on the picture below. That's what GSM blue and The Bar got me.
Have you ever cried drunk?
HAHAHAHA. of course! I cried when I broke up with my exes. It doesn't mean that if I am the one who broke up with him/them, I don't get the license to cry. Those relationships are long term relationships and I've loved them with all my heart.
My bestfriends will laugh and joke about it because it was the truth. They would laugh and tell me 'I told you so'. T'was hard and painful for me too, but the truth will set you free.
Deym, I think the alcohol missed my body HAHAHAHA! Now, let me add a few more questions that passed by my mind while answering this.

We played a card game, I actually forgot what it's called but please feel free to comment that game if you have played it.
Who put the whole card deck shuffled in a table and each person who will drink will pull out one card at a time on the deck. Each number from Ace to King represents a thing to do.
I can still remember that there's a CR pass, all girls take a shot, boys take a shot, one card says a rule that must be followed and that rule will be given by the person who draw the card, etc.
We can't forget when we played that game, the rule was no cursing. Each people who cursed will take a shot. Man, that person got drunk real hard!
***Worse place you've been drunk***
At any bar. I hate getting drunk at a bar, aside that there's a lot of people, I don't want to be a burden to my friends (which happened a lot of times). That's why I got careful throughout the years of drinking session.
I remember literally passing out when I just stood up. My bestfriend asked me to go with her workmates for a drink one evening. Right after my shift I went to the bar and joined her. By the way, she introduced a girl that she's getting to know with that time so I went to see them. I forgot to eat dinner before having a drink and that's what got me feeling drunk after a few bottles. I was puking in the bathroom and my bestfriend brought me to their home.

Right after I released all the saints in my body, I washed my face and felt the coldness of the water. There was a hand dryer beside the sink and me being too drunk, laid my head or my face on the hand dryer while drying my hands. Suddenly I felt a tingling sensation on my cheeks. Yes, I was electrecuted. HAHAHAHAHAHAH! My face was still wet at that time so yeah, bzzzzzzzt! HAHHAHAAHHAA! My bestfriend was there with me and I told her, 'Tol, nakuryente ata ako' and she laughed to death
***Did someone dare you to do such thing? What was it?***
My friends were asking me about my boyfriend that time and I felt like we were not in a good place and I told him about what happened. After that, they asked me to break up with him. Our relationship is already falling apart and I feel like I am the only one saving it and he's just waiting for me to let go. Like he's just keeping me just to say that he's in a relationship. My friends being so pushy, told me why shouldn't I break up with him. Then yes, I did and it was worth it HAHAHAHA.

What Happened Over the Weekend pt3 - Fuel for adventure!

Whew what a weekend! I never imagined that I will be so tired after going on a short trip. We were back home last Sunday and I felt like I just recovered from the energy that I lost throughout the weekend.

Now here's what happened on our trip. I'll try to make it short as possible.
***Itinerary***
March 4 - 9am pick up the car in QC
Go to my sister's house, borrow car seat
Wait for friend, which we will name N, at home
Go to Bulacan around lunch time
Going to Cabanatuan - before 6pm
check-in hotel sleep
March 5 - 9am hubby will go to the venue for the photoshoot
me and Lil B stay at the hotel, check out at 12nn
go the venue, wedding, reception, done!
March 6 - go home
*March 4*
Yes, that was our plan. We did follow our itinerary but time-wise, NO.
*Wait for N at home, before going to Bulacan.* Didn't happen. I understand that he will be coming from Cavite but we already have an agreement and then on that day, he thought to drop by SM North so he can buy a gift for the couple. Then I told my hubby that we can just pick him up from there and asked him to have his lunch there too. We were supposed to leave our house around 10am or 11am but we decided to have lunch before leaving.
We got the car seat from my sister and went to SM North to pick up N.
Going to Bulacan was no problem. However, we got there around 3pm. I introduced Lil B to my friends and at the same time we checked out a few house units there.
We left Bulacan nearly 6pm, according to waze or Google Maps we will arrive in Cabanatuan within more than 2 hours.
We decided to take the shortest route on the maps but it was a very bad decision to do so.
The route that we chose to take was via Plaridel Bulacan, there are just a few cars passing by and we noticed that the road was bad. After a few more minutes of driving, the road got worse.
Instead of 2 hrs travel to Cabanatuan, we took more than 3 hours and as soon as we can already see cars along the road an establishments I asked my husband we can stop over to eat, we haven't had dinner and little b's dinner time has passed. My husband continued to drive for a few more minutes and I felt like he wasn't looking for a place for us to eat. We were all frustrated because of the route we took in Plaridel, I told him that Lil B is already hungry and we stopped over to Jollibee to eat.
After eating our mood turned positive and we have an hour more of travel.
We arrived at our hotel a little past 9am we just passed by to check in and then we were off to the wedding's venue, remember our friend N, he will stay at the resort's dorm so it was another 30mins travel from our hotel. So yeah, we took another hour before we can prep our things to the hotel and rest.
*March 5 - wedding day*
Since my husband was one of the groomsmen, he needs to be there as early as 9am, but before we slept the night before he was informed to be there at 7:30am.
I know that the call time wasn't real, that it was just to bluff the entourage and make sure that all of them are there and prepared for the photoshoot. I didn't tell my husband about that but he left the hotel at 8am. I told him not to rush and be careful when driving. When he got there, he took his breakfast and just waited for the photoshoot. Lil B and I were left at the hotel because we have nowhere to stay at the resort if we will be there that early too.
We just chilled and took our breakfast and prepared our things before we checked out and transfer to the resort.
Oh by the way, the hotel was nice and refreshing! Take a look.
The room was nice too, considering for it's price. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take pictures of the room when we got there but it was pretty cozy. It costs 1600 per night and considering how big the room and how nice the bathroom was, it was pretty worth it.
Alright, after we had our breakfast we dressed up and prepared Lil B. I was thinking how are we going to take a bath at the same time? We don't have a tub so I can put Lil B there while I wash myself. Whew! Good thing that the sink looks like a bowl and the water drain was retractable, so I was able to make it like a small tub and let her play with the bottles while I wash myself. Of course I was still beside her.
Nes picked us up from the hotel and checked out then transferred to the resort. Ordered lunch and relaxed for a bit. The wedding ceremony is at 2pm, we got there at the resort at 12nn and ordered lunch. I told my husband that I don't think that we can make it on time, instead he can go to the church first with the other groomsmen and we will go to the church after we ate our lunch.
We didn't have a problem with that so everything went smoothly until the reception. After the event, they also had fireworks. Man, I love fireworks. We immediately went outside of the venue and watched the fireworks display.
Then on our way back to our room, I asked my husband to about the room and ask for the breakfast for the next day because we will check out at 5:30am, there's another event or wedding that will take place so they gave us a discounted room rate instead.
While, we were on our way back to our room one of the groomsmen's phone was lost so Nes helped to find the phone and I asked my husband to order our food for breakfast. It was already around 7 or 8pm and Lil B was already crying. I told him to order right away so we can go back to the room and rest. He was still taking to the person in charge and it took him 10mins or more while asking for the breakfast. I asked him to get back in our room but he still haven't ordered the food. I got pissed and immediately went back to our room instead. HAHAHAHAHA.
By the way, my husband most of the time talks slow and uses a lot of tagalog words to describe or explain a thing and he moves like a turtle sometimes, a total opposite of me because I want to get things done right away so we can relax afterwards. That was just a little fight and discussion but as soon as he realized that I am tired and will not give in to the conversation he apologized and hugged me. I told him that I'm tired and we both want to rest, plus I have a lil B to take care of 24/7. I told him that I can't focus on taking care of Lil B, we were off her eating and sleeping schedule for days too. Yeah, we done fighting and I told him to go to his workmates/friends outside and have a chat. They had a mini reunion and then Lil B and I slept out of tiredness.
*March 6 go back to Metro Manila*
I was surprised because I woke up someone's knocking at the door and when I checked the time it was already 5am. Gosh, we only have 30mins to pack up our things.
Well, good thing that my husband already packed our things before he went to bed. Awwwww, so I only needed to change clothes and Lil B's clothes too.
We had our breakfast that time too while having our breakfast the groom woke up early and checked us before leaving.
We also walked around the resort for some Vitamin D and took pictures for memories to keep as it was our first out of town event.
By the way, the bride and the groom were also our witnesses when we got married last year. Gosh that might be the sign for them HAHAHAHAH!

***The car that we rented was just less than a month old and we scratched the car. My husband was the one driving and parked the car when we heard the bump. It was already in the evening and they thought that it was only a scratch on the tires but before we left the hotel I saw a big scratch below the door frame. *kamot ulo kaming lahat****
Yeah that's what happened last week and that's what got me tired for the whole week. Now I think I already recovered and we promised not to do long trips anymore HAHAHAHAHA!

What Happened Over The Weekend Pt2. - Last minute changes

What's up lovely read.cashers! Now I found a trick so I can let Lil B stay on her crib. She just simply needs something to eat HAHAHAHA! While she's enjoying her little snack, let me do my article.

Oh wait before I share what happened on our trip going to Cabanatuan, let me share the stress that I had before that. Yes, the last minute changes.
Road trip preparation
The wedding that we attended was scheduled on March 5 and we were set to leave our house in Marikina on March 3. My husband left his car in Leyte because he takes the plane going here. Since the wedding was out of town, we needed to rent a car.
***Car rental***
I've been asking my husband about the plans on how are we gonna go to Cabanatuan, oh by the way we have another person who tagged along on our ride. I've been bugging my husband weeks before our trip so I can find a car rental with a low rate as our trip will be on a weekend. I told him that I needed to look and reserve one ahead of time as usually car rentals on a weekend are always fully booked.
My husband's friend who tagged along seemed like he doesn't want to spend such money to rent a car. He asked his wife's relative if he can borrow the car. They agreed so there less expense, check! After a few days, my husband told me that the car was a no go. *Me scratching my head*
I checked online and I was able to find a car rental service with a reasonable rate, however they wanted to confirm what time we will need the car. I asked my husband about it but he's still undecided. To my mistake 2 days passed and I totally forgot to respond on the car rental service. So when I told the owner that we will pick up the car in the morning, he thought that we will not reserve the car on that day and someone already took the spot. That was 2 days before our trip, so I was shooked and I immediately looked for another car rental service. I almost run out of luck looking for an available one and the prices are up. Good thing that I was able to find a good deal for3 days.
HOWEVER! When I confirmed a day before our trip, the owner informed me that the car rental should be returned on March 6 9am. Again, I was shocked, I took a screenshot of the deal they told me and then the owner told me that it was her wife who replied. I told him that we cannot return the car that early, I sent him the messages again and I'd be happy to compromise the time but we cannot assure that we will be in Quezon city at that time and we were given the rate for 3 days so I expected to at least cover no longer than 6hours for the 3rd day as initially it was the deal but no specific time of return. Then after our negotiation, we settled to return the car at 11am. The car owner was also aware that it takes 3-4 hours travel from Cabanatuan to Metro Manila.
Yes, one stress down.
***Room accomodation***
My husband was one of the groomsmen and she was the only one who can be accomodated on the venue/resort.
Again, I asked my husband about this and he still seemed unsure. Instead I already looked for cheapest hotel that I can find near the venue or the church. I presented the options and if we can fit in a room, so we can share the expense. My husband and his friend can't settle on the decision because we are also considering our friend. I asked my husband if they can ask the groom or the venue if they have an available room for us. The groom told us that there's one more available room and our friend can fit in the dorm which only costs 800. Which they haven't confirmed yet. I told my husband that at this time, we don't have a choice because the wedding was just days away.
I still searched for other options, then I saw the Airbnb app on my husband's phone. I check the venue location and check if there are any Airbnb available but there wasn't any. Nearest was at least 20 to 30 mins away from the venue. But I found with a cheap rate and while we were doing our last minute shopping, I sent the reservation fee via gcash. ANOTHER BAD NEWS, after I sent the reservation fee they informed me that the room was already taken on that day. I was like O.O wtf did you even offer me that room. I went ahead and find another one but of course it's a bit pricy than the previous hotel. They agreed to have a room reserved without reservation fee and we can do walk-in. I didn't confirm at first as they told me that we can walk-in.
Whew, boys boys boys these boys really don't like to plan ahead. They got my eyes rolling like crazy!
But I asked them to finalize the plan before we leave the house. So they decided that we will just book an overnight stay to the hotel that accepts walk-ins, our friend will sleep on the venue's dorm and then after the wedding, we will book the vacant room on the venue so we can rest after the reception. WHEW!
These guys are used to be spontaneous in their decisions and just go with the flow wherever their feet lead them. In my case, I can't do that because I have Lil B with me. I want to plan things ahead so when we get there, we can all just relax and do my thing as a motha.
Don't get me wrong, my husband appreciates everything that I do but there were times that he still gets into my nerves hahahahah! I love you hon! My husband was also used to being alone and spontaneous when travelling. I told him that we can't be like that anymore, we have a little one to think of when travelling like this.
When we had our trip, certain realizations came into my mind which I will share on the next part. HAHAHHAA.
It took me a to recover. My goodness. We will never do long trips again with a baby, char!!!!

Pero yung compliment na hindi compliment eh yung pinagkakamalan akong lalaki, tibo o bisexual. HAHAHAHAHA. Kasi androgenous kasi yung itsura, pananamit at kilos ko noon, tapos payatot pa ko. Kaya para sken compliment yung akalain nila na ganun ako hahaa.

Yes. Masaya ako na napaliligiran ako ng pamilya ko, ng mga kaibigan ko kahit nasa malayo yung iba. Why? Kasi sapat na sa akin yung naiintindihan nila ako at nakikinig sila sa sasabihin ko. May mali man o panget man akong nagagawa nasasabi nila sken ng hindi ako nasasaktan.

Siguro average lang. Minsan nasa pakiramdam mo din yan kapag di mo feel kasama yung isang tao, di ka komportable tska di ka magsasalita gaano kahit nangangapa ka sa ugali. Pero wag kalimutan na don't judge the book by its cover, dapat magbigay tayo ng benefit of the doubt once in a while sa ibang tao para makilala natin sila ng tunay.

Siguro yung magkasama kami araw araw. Iba kasi yung LDR na relationship. Sometimes you get used to na magkalayo kayo at walang masama doon, pero mas masarap pa din sa kalooban ko na magkasama kami in person. Mas naasikaso ko sya, yung matanggal ko man lang pagod nya sa trabaho ganun.

Mas naging at peace ang utak namin, at malaki ang tiwala namin sa isa't isa kasi nagstart kami sa LDR dahil sa work nya. 6 months dn kami hindi nagkita nung naglockdown pero hindi sya pumalya sa pagtawag sken kahit hanggang ngayon.
Nagkakaintindihan kami or kapag nagkakainitan kami ng ulo, hindi nya pinapalipas ng gabi na di kami okay. Marunong kami magsorry kung may mali kami sa isa't isa, regardless kung sino nagstart ng away.

Some of you might have read my previous articles and some of you may already know that I am a mom.
Just so you know my cravings for alcohol and smoking went to zero when I got pregnant. When we knew that I was pregnant, I do admit that I still think about smoking or drinking but the craving was gone that I can just be simply brush it off when i think about it.
That was went I was pregnant, how about now?
After i have birth my cravings to alcohol and cigarettes still didn't go back. But there were stressful times that I wanted and tempted to drink and smoke.

There are people or moms who still drink and it says that beer contains malt, which helps to increase breastmilk supply. (That's why I drink milo everyday). Other people say it's safer to drink wine, other people say that you can drink beer. How about for breastfeeding moms? Some say that you can breastfeed after 2 hours from drinking alcohol.
**Based on my experience, I drank red wine just half a glass because it was by bestfriend's birthday, I was just there for a couple of hours and when I got home I needed to pump milk but then supply was low. It was new to me as usually I get out of the house for 2 hours to do groceries and have my me time and get at least 3 to 4oz. I thought it was just one time thing and continuous pumping it'll increase again. It didn't, it was gradually decreasing more until I can only pump less than an ounce. I did everything for a week but still no go, I decided to buy lactation treats and well it worked and I was so relieved as a pure breastfeeding mom.
After that, I decided not to drink any alcohol again for the time being until my baby has been fully weaned.
***DO I STILL SMOKE?***
I am asking for everyone's understanding and I do appreciate if you won't judge me.
We all know that being a first time time is a sudden adjustment of lifestyle. I've been smoking since I was in college and I wasn't able to stop until I got pregnant. Smoking was my breather, my relaxant, my peace of mind, my calming toy back then. I restrained myself from smoking as a mom, especially a breastfeeding mom.
I didn't smoke until my 5th month postpartum. I was just fascinated by a new smoking device that my bestfriend bought. I tried it and yes, it was different from a regular cigarette, much lighter to my chest or lungs. **(I'll share a few details about this later.)** Good thing that I out of our house as I asked my bestfriend if she can drive my husband to the airport going back to Leyte and she agreed. Of course I promised my husband, that I just tried it out. He wants me to quit obviously. I didn't breastfeed bb right after I got home, of course I bathed and washed thoroughly before I touch and feed Lil B.
Attempts to stop smoking
How about drinking? Oh nooo, hahahha! Drinking ocassionally is okay just not at the moment while I am still breastfeeding, but I plan to wean Lil B after her 1st birthday due to other personal and husband reasons.
Alright, I tried to stop smoking of course. I can already feel the effect of smoking in my body gradually back then. Why didn't I stop? Do you love coffee? Then why didn't you stop drinking coffee? Yes, it was for the same reason, same cravings and both bad for health if you take too much.
Vape
Remember when smoking ban was implemented? Our company followed the ban. No more smoking areas, but there are still a lot of employees who find ways to look for a spot to smoke. That's why the guards told the employees in our building to smoke at the roof top. It was on the 5th floor and you'll have to take the stairs. We have to go to the ground floor thru elevator and climb the stairs up to the roof top. We can't just directly take the fire exit stairs as the alarm will be triggered. We only have two 15-min break and climbing up takes time and smoking made it harder for us to rush back in the office.
Oh I forgot to tell you that the company removed smoking areas but turned it into vaping areas. Yes, that's why I turned to vaping.

When the smoking ban was implemented, a lot of smokers turned to vaping. There's also an arguement that vaping is safer than smoking, and vapes are more dangerous as it explodes.
I admit that I don't like vapes before because I'd still choose cigarettes over vape but when I tried it, there was a relief. If I will compare how my lungs feels after vaping, it was very light. After a few weeks of vaping, I tried smoking again and I can feel how heavy the nicotine or the tar into my lungs as I inhaled it.
I've known a few people who were heavy to light smokers who turned to vaping and don't smoke cigarettes anymore. After a month or just a few weeks of vaping, they don't like how cigarettes smells and taste like. Mind you, these people are also cigarette smokers for years or even a decade already. Some of them tried vaping (vape pods), just for a few weeks and months then decided to quit vaping and quit cigarette smoking too. I was actually glad that it helped them stop. I on other hand still find the smell of a cigarette pleasant to my nose.
`DISCLAIMER: Not all vapers stopped smoking but it helped them manage their nicotine and tar intake. This still depends on one's preference, mind and body, the effects on other people may not be the same to others.`
For the people who are healthy here or doesn't smoke nor vape, well good for you. DON'T TRY TO EITHER.
Oh may I add this note as well, some kids think that vaping is cool. It isn't, I feel like they are disrespecting the vaping community, they are disrespecting the people who wants to stop cigarette smoking. These people wants to stop or change something for health reasons and vaping actually helped many smokers to stop. There were also cases that their lungs were all cleared after vaping.
For all I know, anything that doesn't belong to your body system is harmful. So as what vapers say, do not vape if you don't smoke. For non-smokers, just simply don't smoke.
Vape issues
There were a lot of vape issues that came up. Exploding devices, vape juice contents are more harmful, vaping causes lung damage. If you think about it there were also issues in cigarettes that can also lead to lung cancer. There are visual reminder on every pack of cigarettes on the effects of cigarettes.
We, vapers take pre-caution in our vape devices. There are different types of vapes too. The first one was the e-cigarette, which is pretty safe to use. Vape mods are more complicated, then vape pods are somehow similar to e-cigarette, more compact but longer battery life and more juice storage.
Here's my take on certain issues: (only my opinion)
**Exploding devices** - a lot of exploding devices are due to mishandling. I personally have experienced it and cannot blame the device, it is my responsibility and I should've been more careful. My vape mod (device didn't explode), I simply forgot to turn off the device before putting it in my bag.
One device that was broadcasted on the news was owned by a teenager. I assure you that no vape store sells vape to minors, they are very strict to that UNLESS a person of legal age buys one for a minor OR they are not authorized vape sellers. The same underage vaper bought a second hand vape. Take note that he's a minor, he doesn't know much about vape yet, it could also be his first time using a vape. When buying 2nd hand products make sure that you know specifics before buying better yet, you must be knowledgeable enough to a certain product to check its quality. We've checked on the news what happened and as far as I can remember the batter of the vape the kid bought wasn't in a good condition, that may result for the vape to explode.
There are certain maintenance that you do when you own a vape:
Change cottons as frequent as you can
Change coils
Clean vape mod parts
Check battery charger
Change battery wrap
Yes, we do change the battery wrap as soon as there's a tear on the original or previous wrap. If you own a vape pod, you don't have to worry about these things. You just simply need to change the pods.
**Vape juice** - they say vape juice are more harmful as it contains chemicals. That's what I thought too but if you buy from authorized or licensed juice manufacturer there shouldn't be a problem. Usually vape juice contains Flavoring, Water, Propylyne Glycol or Vegetable Glycerin (or both) and Nicotine. Nicotine is the harmful ingredient that can also be found in cigarettes.
There's an issue about vape juice that contains Marijuana which says that it causes lung failure. I don't know specificilly what happened to that medical case as I didn't follow it after wards but just a piece of advise, better check the contents before buying from a specific brand. There are a lot of local juice manufacturers that are still not fda approved.
Another alternative or step to stop smoking

This is the device that my bestfriend uses, this is also the one that I tried. She introduced this device to me and when I tried it, I can feel that it wasn't as heavy as a regular cigarette.
*How does it work?*
It was like an e-cigarette but you still have cigarette sticks to put in. It's a cigarette heating device. It doesn't but the cigarette stick which brings tar and cigarette ash. It simply heats the tobacco in the cigarette stick. **Advantage?** Little to no smoke, smoke fades quickly, little to no smell, no cigarette ashes and lighter to the lungs.
Oh another advantage for me is, you can control your frequency of smoking. You can only use the device up to one to 2 consecutive use, then you need to put it back on its charging pack for next use. The charging pack is portable by the way.

I wanted my father to try this device so he can stop smoking. He's a chain smoker, he smokes less than 2 packs a day but now that he's retired, my mother limits her to smoke less than a pack per day.

I've been wanting to share this to you all especially to smokers out there. I know cutting off smoke in your habits is hard but we should at least try. It saves money, time and longer life!

Again, I am sharing this not because I am encouraging people our minors to do so. Well, if you are a non-smoker and you already have a job or you already have your own money, it's your decision but I hope that you take care of your health.
