A walk to Remember: Pregnancy Edition
I agree that motherhood is one of the most wonderful experiences a woman can have in her life. Being a mother is a lifelong commitment, therefore there is no going back once you've decided to bear a child. At the age of 16, I became a mother. I may say that my pregnancy was unplanned and indeed the result of being a rebellious daughter years ago. I can say that I wasn't quite ready to be a mother at the time, but as time has passed, I've come to see what this child's purpose is.
Anyway, allow me to tell you about how I was able to give birth to this little one a few years back.
1. Normal delivery/CS?
Because I am actually young at that time, my ob-gyn recommended to deliver my child via caesarian section. I wasn't ready for that but because she said that my cervix is not yet fully open, I need to undergo CS immediately.
2. Father in the room?
Actually, he wasn't, He was on duty that time but when his friend called him, he immediately headed to the hospital where I am admitted. That time, he was just waiting in the room and did not allow to enter the delivery area.
3. Due Date?
As I remember, my due date was actually on the second week of July but I needed to undergo CS so his birth was unexpected.
4. Birth Date?
His Birthdate was June 19, 2014, Rizal's Birthday as well. Unexpected date but it was still one of the most happiest day of my life. I didn't expect that I'd gave birth to a healthy child.
5. Morning sickness?
As I recall, I just had my morning sickness from the first to the second trimester. But I can say that it wasn't bad actually. I just sleep always and eat foods that I wanted to eat. There was a moment when my mom cooked a dried shrimp and the smell was so disgusting. I still remember what it is smell like and up to now, I really do not like it.
6. Cravings?
The only cravings that I remember that time were a lot of fries and then fudgee bars and combi.
7. Gender of the baby?
He is a boy. Actually, I also like a girl but still, it is a blessing so boy or girl, it is still a gift from heaven above. If God will allow me to bear another child, I want to have a new baby girl.
8. Place of birth?
I gave birth to Angono Rizal. That time, the father of my child took me so that he will handle all the expenses.
9. Hours of labor?
I did not go to labor at that time. Actually, before the day of my birth, I was just doing some household chores and sleep.
10. Weight?
My loving one only weighs 2.7 kg that time. Yes, he is the smallest baby at that time in the nursing room. But after a few weeks, he was truly going real fast.
11. Baby's Name
We named her John Emmanuel. Eman for short. To be honest, that name came from my most treasured best friend in high school. I told him that I will name my child after him because he was really a good guy who takes care of me while I am in school.
And that's it. That's how my pregnancy went through. Btw, thanks ate @Momentswithmatti for tagging me. I Now challenge @Pachuchay, and @MrsPepper27 to tell their stories as well!!
