I checked my sisters's IG profile and I saw her photo dump post for the month of February which reminded me to post about it too. I almost forgot to do this so let's chek what happened to me last February and dump the photos I have on my phone.

The Lil B got more active and had her 4th tooth came out.
Releasing the baby shark in her. Hahahaha! She got more clingy and won't let me leave her sight. I never thought that her teething stage will be like this.
Valentine's day
We didn't have anything grand for that day but I asked my sister to make a crochet flower for my parents. We never have seen them celebrated Valentine's day when we were still kids up to today because they can't afford flowers or chocolates or just to simply celebrate a small occassion like this. Valentine's day wasn't a big deal to me either but seeing my parents like that made me realize that we should make memories and at least find something to make a small occassion special.
When I asked my father to give the flowers to my mother, she was actually surprised and happy that she got a flower.
Lola passed away
My grandfather's sister passed away and my parents went to Bicol for our lola's wake. They brought these yummy brownies home.
After a week, they brought her back in Antipolo so they can bring the urn together with her daughter and son's tomb.
Daddy's home
Daddy was home after a month due to the COVID cases surge the past holidays and I missed sleeping with this view.
9th month

Family week
My sisters were home too! We forgot to take a family picture with all of us at home. It was another weekend well spent moment. We went to the park and I told my sister to bring our niece with us, she wasn't supposed to come with us but good thing she did.
Lil B and my niece got in a world of a pandemic. Well, my niece was born on 2019 but COVID hasn't spread in the Philippines yet until 2020, so my sister and I both have a pandemic baby. https://read.cash/@Micontingsabit/pandemic-babies-35cea24e
Our niece was so overwhelmed with the play park nearby our home and she didn't stop going to the slide.She was hesistant at first but after she tried, nothing can stop her HAHAHHA!
My sister got tired but we were all happy that we got out and both of our kids got a little vitamin D and vitamin Fun while they stayed here.
Whew! I hope this article will save me, there's a few draft articles here though but I still don't feel like posting them yet. I fell asleep together with Lil B and I still feel tired after our weekend roadtrip. I never experienced being tired like this before. Hopefully I find time to draft the 2nd part of my What happened over the weekend article later.

What Happened Over The Weekend - Last Minute Shopping

Some people do last minute shopping. I can't deny that sometimes I also do last minute shopping, but most of the timet that is because of budget reasons. Why do we always do rush or last minute shopping? Does it excite you?
Before we had our trip to Nueva Ecija for a friend's wedding, we needed to buy other things the groom needs. By the way, my husband was one of the groomsmen. ***I have a question, does groomsmen needed to be single? *

My husband was home. He wasn't able to come home for a month due to the surge of COVID cases in Metro Manila.
When he got here, we spent a day at the mall to buy clothes for the wedding. We went to Ayala Feliz Mall and to our surprise the guards asked for a Pasig QR Pass. I was shocked because the mall's location is still in the side of Marikina (by the way, there are parts of Marikina that is near Pasig, Cainta and Antipolo). As far as I know Pasig is on the other side of the street, so we kind of needed to get a Pasig Pass. We just registered online and got our QR code.
We got to do a little errand date while he was here.
That's were also I first saw that Jollibe has a Chicken burger sandwich. It was pretty lovely and now that will be my new favorite burger. It was actually the pickes that got me.
We also kind of killed 2 birds in one stone and happen to pass by the PhilSys ID registration. There were no people on the line so we took advantage of it.
He needed a long-sleeved polo and I needed a dress. The wedding's motif was shade of purple and silver/gray. I was thinking if what kind of clothes will I buy. I thought a blouse is okay but then it will be hard for me to breastfeed because we will bring Lil B with us on the wedding, so I settled with a dress comfy enough to breastfeed.
We needed to go home right after we bought our clothes and had our snack (coz the mommah is hungry hahaha). We didn't bring our Lil B with us because it was a weekend and for sure there will be a lot of people.
Last week before going to Nueva Ecija (march 3)
My husband went back home again of course because of the wedding. But the groom asked him to buy black shorts that will be used on the photoshoot before the ceremony and then a necktie. My husband as one of the groom's men will surely do his favor. So we needed to go to the mall again to buy black shorts and a necktie. This time we bought Lil B with us, since it's a Friday and there will be only a few people visiting the mall.
We went to a different mall this time, to SM Masinag so that there will be a Department store that we can check for the necktie. Since the car was left in Leyte, we will need to book grabcar because of this little cutie.
Oh this was also her first time visiting the mall! Yey! We checked the department store, roamed around to search for a pair of shorts and the necktie.
***I am very sleepy but I will wake myself up so I can finish this article. I still feel tired after our trip**
Lil B didn't take a nap that day because we went out around 4pm and I thought that she will sleep on the way but she didn't. While we were stroliing at the mall, maybe she was very overwhelmed of the new things that she saw that's why she didn't sleep. I did breastfeed her so she can sleep but still didn't work. Right after we bought the shorts and the necktie, I asked my husband if we can look for a stroller foam because the foam that we are using was a bit saggy and Lil B's leaning on the metal on the side. We went to the baby accessories section and checked. Then I saw a Bee toy pillow and showed it to Lil B. I was shocked that she smiled and giggled and hugged the pillow. She was hugging the pillow and didn't let go as if she wants us to buy it for her. We checked around first if there are stroller foam available, we asked the sales lady unfortunately it's sold out. Oh by the way while we are looking for a salesperson to ask for the stroller foam, Lil B fell asleep!
Okay daddy! You know what to do now. We ended up buying the Bee. :)
After that, we went to the supermarket to buy a few more things that we needed to bring along before our trip. I was thinking of bringing and using her cloth diapers but my mother told me to buy disposables instead so that I will not have a hard time changing her nappies. We also needed to buy food for her to bring, I was thinking of buying veggies but while we were on the supermarket something crossed my mind. What if the food gets spoiled, Lil Be will have nothing to eat? I asked my husband if should we buy baby food for her like Cerelac or something. I was kind of hesitant at first because I know that baby cereals are also considered as junk food for babies. It's not like I don't have a choice because I can still bring veggies and use an insulated bag but what if the hotel doesn't have a fridge? I told my husband just to buy the smallest pack just for back up.
Wedding GIft
I told my husband to buy an air purifier as a wedding gift but he mentioned that the groom has been requesting a tent to him for over a year. Good thing there was a Decathlon outlet just beside SM Masinag. After we bought the things in SM Masinag, went to Decathlon to buy a tent.
While we wait for Daddy to finish the demo and buy other things he need, I told him that we will wait for him on the community area because my back is already aching. I was able to sit and rest my back and Lil B enjoyed there too. I saw a little wooden rocking horse there.
Looks like Daddy has a new Decathlon buddy now hhahah! She was there for at least 10mins while we wait for daddy to finish getting what he needs. I never thought that watching my own kid smile and have fun like that was very satisfying and heart melting. UWU
We were very happy that Lil B was able to get oug the house, of course taking care is still a protocol at home.

When I transferred school in Highschool, I met new friends and my classmates were confused if my last name is my given name (1st name) because my last name sounds like my given name and my given name sounds like a last name. Anyway, my former bestfriend joined Girlscouts then and we had a game that we will look for our partner using animal sounds while blind folded. She decided to do a cat's noise ..'ming'.. I wasn't comfortable being chummy like that so it ended up that she's the only who only uses our petname to call me. Then our classmates and batchmates started to call me that way too.
***What are your hobbies?***
Sleeping. Yes, I do sleep a lot before I became a mom. What can I do, I am a night owl.
Now.. I breastfeed, do the laundry, putting my Lil B to sleep, watching movies, series or anime.
***What is your biggest fear?***
Being alone in the dark. Literally. I don't know but my heartbeat rises up whenever I'm in a room, lights off or pitch black darkness. That's why I don't sleep with no lights, dim light is okay but I don't like sleeping with lights off.
Another fear that I am still in denial is being alone. There's something in my that thinks that being alone is sad and I don't want to be sad but some people find happiness alone, which I don't mind but yeah, that's how I feel.
***What is your favorite childhood memory?***
Well I love being a kid, o . Climbing tress, playing street games, fighting with my siblings,
***What three things do you think of the most each day?***
Give me more patience - being a first time mom is pretty challengin. I am still adjusting to my life as a mom and there are still things that I need to work on myself so that I can be a decent mom.
Money - since I don't have a job, I want to earn and I am happy that I was introduced to this platform so I can earn somehow. I wanted to post articles every day as much as possible.
My husband - being in a temporary LDR family set up, I always think of my husband. I know how lonely he is when he's away from us and knowing that his workmates are locals in the province he's in makes us feel sad in a way but we are working on it so we won't feel like this anymore. s
***What kitchen appliances do you use every day?***
Stove or rice cooker. Of course you can already do alot of things when you have a stove, you can cook anything including rice.
***Do you collect anything?***
Hmmmm. anger and hatred. CHAAAAAAR!
I not a collector but I am a sentimental when it comes to small gifts. I wanted to have a minimalist home but my parents are not hahahhaa. It may not be a collection but there's only a few things that I keep or collect, those are things that holds memories with other people.
***What was your first job?***
Do you mean an official job? I was an information secretary or just simply an office staff to a training center in Cubao. I was lucky to be a working student when I was in college.
***What is your favorite game or sport to watch and play?***
Patintero. Char. I know some people don't consider it as a sport but it is. I remember when we were in Highschool, we were taught of Filipino sports/games and it was the first time we knew that there was a specific scoring system in Patintero and it became our batch's pambansang sport. hahahhaa
Volleyball is really my favorite game and I am happy that I was able to be a part of our Volleyball them when I was in high school. I wasn't a great player though, I was good enough to play.
***How many languages/dialects do you speak?***
Well I only speak 2 fluent languages. English and Tagalog. I hope that I can learn a few more languages or dialects too as my husband is a Cebuano.
***What motivates you to work hard?***
Food and life. Char! hahahaha Of course, my own family. Now that I have my own family, lots of things changed. Perspective in life, goals, personality is not about me anymore. Everything that I do and will do is for my family.

There is no appropriate age for getting married. Well if I am still single, I'd prefer to get married at the age of 35.
But yeah, I got married at the age of 29 because I got pregnant hihi. It wasn't just because of the pregnancy, do you imagine that me and my boyfriend (now husband) just tried if one of us is infertile it was kind of planned sort of. Because, we want to build a family together. Hihi.

Well, I mentioned in my previous random question article that I cheated once, on one of my ex boyfriends. It was actually with my first long term relationship that became toxic and manipulative (which is not an excuse to cheat) but it woke me up that the man for me is still out there. It felt wrong morally, but right in a way that I was able to get out of a bad relationship.
In my current situation, DUH NO! I am happy, very much happy and I got all what I need beside me. No questions asked. :) and we gonna be happy all the way hihi.

Oh LDR, which is hard. Local LDR is manageable but out of the country LDR? Definitely, I am against it. I know how challenging LDR can be to couples and to families too, which is our current situation and we plan to move to where my husband works so we can be together. Boobie Bite

Well, moms may already know what's gonna be my topic for today. Boobie bite. Breastfeeding moms, say hello! I would also love to hear your experiences too. For now, let me share a few moments with my Lil B.

I mentioned in some of my articles that usually breastfed babies are more clingy to their mothers. Clingy in a sense that they always needed to be their mother's side almost all the time as they get their main source of food from us, thaaaa boobies.
Oh wait, I forgot to put a disclaimer.
*I have nothing against mothers who decide to formula feed their babies. Each mother and babies are different, it's every mother's choice to do what they think is best for their child and to them. I believe that a mother's comfort is the babies comfort too.*
Alright, let's go back! Let me tackle a few questions and tell some stories too and this will all be based on my experience as a first time mother.
Why did I decide to breastfeed?
I decided to breastfeed because doctors do recommend it. As what the doctors and what's indicated on every baby milk, breastmilk is best for babies up to 2 years of age.
Since Lil B is a pandemic baby, making sure that she's healthy is my main goal. I am not saying that formula fed babies are not healthy, but to ease my mind that she will be protected from other forms of virus or sickness breastfeeding is the best option for me.
There's always pros and cons when it comes to breastfeeding.

Less effort in cleaning bottles and no getting up in the middle of the night to prepare milk
Budget friendly :)

Well, that's the con that I can think of at this hour. (Sorry I am already sleepy).
I don't have to worry about the cons because since there are COVID restrictions we don't or we barely get out of our house, I mean me and Lil B. As for my back, I can just take a pain reliever for that. I became a full-time, stay at home mom.
Breastfeeding experience
I love breastfeeding. When I just have birth, I was always anxious if I am in producing enough milk for her. I would always look at her to see if she can sip milk from me. I also eat food that can boost my milk production. As what most breastfeeding moms say, the best way to increase milk supply is following the law of supply and demand. The more the demand, the more the supply. I joined breastfeeding groups, checked other sources, pumped every now and then, nurse Lil B and pump the other boob simultaneosly. Set a pumping schedule, power pumped early in the morning. I even bought a pumping kit. I was always scared to run out of milk. In fact I plan to breastfeed her for a year if I am lucky.
Running out of milk
There were a lot of times that I felt like my milk was running out. For the first few months, I got worried because whenever I pump I only got not so much milk. Thanks to my sister, she reminded me everyday to just continue latching. She reminded me that no drops of my milk from my boobs doesn't mean I don't have milk. She reminded me that the pump that I am using might not be fit. She reminded me to not worry and stress out about the milk as the more I think worry, the more probability that my milk will truly run out.
There was a couple of times that I really felt like my milk almost run out. One time I went to my bestfriend's birthday for just a couple of hours and I drank less than a glass of red wine. After I went home to pump milk, I only got 1oz for both boobs which is not normal for me at that time. I usually get at least 2 oz for pumping both boobs. Supplements didn't help that much, then I decided to buy lactation treats. To my surprise, after eating 1 pc of treat, I can feel my milk rushing in my boobies and got more milk!
Bite
There was a time when she was just around 4months old, her jaw kind of locked while she was asleep. It wasn't really jaw lock but her mouth just closed and she kind of bit my boobie. She doesn't have even a tooth yet that time. It was purely accidental.
Her began teething around 6 and a half months. She had high fever before I found out and checked her gums.
AND NOW!
Her 4th tooth is coming out now. Yey! Yesterday, I was putting her to sleep in the afternoon and she accidentally bit my boobie. It was awieeeee, and I told her to not bite and just sip with demo. (no biting, demo* sip lang, demo*) She continued latching for a few minutes, then bit again my boobie. I told her again not to bite, with my eyes wide open and I think I kind of raised my voice a little bit then she cried. And now I regret what I did. :( Then I changed the side she's latching on, I felt that she was about to bit my nips again I reacted with 'oooooooooh!' that moment she knew that I was about to get angry and cried so loud. I know what I did was wrong, but yet I know that she can already understand me. I know that she looks cute when she cries but this cry was different. It was a cry like she was judged for nothing. Then I realized, Lil B was right. She didn't do anything yet and doesn't deserve it. She didn't even want to latch. I felt bad and sad, for what I did. Now I don't know how to take it off her mind.

Mommies, how do you react to that? Give me some tips and advise. I don't want to be that kind of mother, but I know to myself that I have a high tendency to be the mother that I don't want to be.

How Did My February Go?

It was a quick month, February just passed by. Can we blame the calendar or it really just feels like time flies so fast? Well anyway, let's do a quick recap of how I did this February.

Compared to how much I earned on January, which was $57, my earnings got up much more than I expected. I was able to cash out around $70. and of course I spent it groceries and other things that I needed to buy for Lil B's supplies.

Movie Recommendation: In the Heights

Who's up for a movie recommendation? How about we go for a musical? No problem! Here's another movie that I watched when I still have my subscription in HboGO.
I subscribed to HboGo last year. The subscription costs 99 pesos a month but they had a discounted promo of 130 pesos for 3 months. I didn't actually plan to subscribe but one time my mother watched the first movie of Resident Evil and I told her that there are more sequels. I checked Netflix for the sequels but the only have the recent movie and the animated movie. I checked on Google if HboGO has the other Resident Evil movies, says that it is available on HboGo. I went ahead and subscribed for 3 months for the given promo and when I logged in, searched, guess what, it wasn't. So yeah, I ended up having a 3 month subscription. I still took advantage of it, I let my sister log in to my account as well and that's where she watched In The Heights.
She recommended it for me to watch as the songs were written by Lin Manuel Miranda. Did I mention that he also write songs for a few Disney movies like Moana and Encanto. In the Heights is also a musical theatre play first like The Hamilton Musical, and then the director of Crazy Rich Asians adapted it as a movie.

Plot
A musical romatic drama movie/play about the residents of a Dominican-American community, Washington Heights just a neighbor city of New York. This movie basically shows how the life of a multi-racial community adapts and shows how they grow together. This movie shows their community is everything and everyone in the community is their family.
Cast & Characters

Lin Manuel Miranda's role wasn't a main character but at least he has an appearance on the movie.
Stephanie Beatriz, the one who voiced Mirabel in Encanto, was also in the movie. I can't believe that she is legally blind.
Dascha Polanco, I've known her when I watched Orange is the New Black.
I can't say much about the other actors but all the cast did great! Pretty much as great as what you expect in a Lin Manuel Miranda play.
I told my sister that he really has a specific songwriting style that you'll notice right away.
Comments
The community is somehow relatable. How? It's a Latin community and this is somehow similar to a Filipino community in a small town or province. That's may be the reason I liked it too.
Well as mentioned earlier, all the actors in the cast did a really great job! I wonder if some of them really performs in theatre. If you love musical plays, I am sure that you will enjoy watching this too. I think RottenTomatoes gave this movie a high rating and for me, I'll give it a 9/10, I strongly suggest this movie. However, if you are not fond of musicals, just try to watch it too, you might appreciate it too.

Oh No! We Forgot To...

Filipino superstitions. We Filipinos believe in different superstitions. I think superstitions also depends on where you at in the Philipines. There are common superstitions that new generations still do and believing in some, doesn't also hurt us.
My grandmother (lola) passed away, she wasn't an immediate family member but she's my grandfather's sister. Well after our grandparents (father side) passed away, we treated her as our own lola too. She would tell stories about his brothers and sisters when they were still kids.
Anyway, my parents went to Bicol weeks ago when they heard the news. She was dear to us in a way, as she doesn't mind if we tag along in our annual Holy Week tradition in Bicol even if my parents don't have enough money.
Today is the day that they took her to the cemetery so her ashes can be with her son and daughter. Yes, they also passed away years ago. This morning we visited our lola before they go to the cemetery. Of course, I took Lil B with me so lola and our Mama Mary can see her as well. Don't worry, it's not lola's wake so there are only a few people who visited too. Most of them were just our relatives.
My parents and I woke up early, we need to be there around 8am. Lil B just had her breakfast and dressed her up, which didn't take long because I already prepared what she needs to wear last night. I on the other hand, took a bit longer because I didn't prepare my clothes and things last night, I thought the dress I was about to wear is already washed but it is still in the laundry. I need to wear anything black or white because one of our family member passed away. I had nothing to wear basically, 85% of my clothes don't fit me now since I gave birth. My mother was able to find a loose black shirt, damn my mother's clothes can fit me now AHAHHAHAHA! I think I need a haul.
Anyway, I was supposed to book a grabcar but no grabcar was available that time. Kinda surprised me though, instead we took a jeepney going there. Good thing that there were only a few passengers. Oh it was my Lil B's first time riding a jeepney too.
At least she was able to get out of the house and it's nice that she was able to meet some of our relatives. It's nice to get out of the house I may say.
Just a little chit and chat with my cousins, aunts and uncles then they are all set to go to the cemetery. Lil B and I didn't go with them because I don't want her to be exposed outside for too long. You know we still have this COVID-19 roaming around like crazy. Anyway, we went home straight from my aunt's house.
OH NO WAIT! WE WENT STRAIGHT HOME!
I just realized that when we got home. We didn't stop by anywhere to *Pagpag.* Pagpag means to shake/shrug off dirt or dust. We also have a superstition that you don't go home directly after attending a funeral. This is practiced by most Filipinos so that the soul of the dead will not follow you home.
Oh no, lola don't follow us home hahahaha! Just kidding, if you did follow us just guide us and my Lil B. After I realized that, I told my sisters about it and asked if something weird already happened. Well, there was none or maybe I was just freaking myself out.
Well, mama ichu, our lola, I know that you're an a safe place now and your with our other relatives who passed away. Go! Reunite with them and guide all of us.
I just hope that for the next following days, my uncle can have a decision that will help and benefit our clan.
I Am That Kind of Jowa

It was my goal to post something about love for the month of February as much as I can but didn't meet my goal. Well, here's what I got for the last day of love month.
Every person is unique. Every person has it's own personality that may capture someone else's attention and they might find it appealing or capture their hearts in a way that we can't even explain or imagine.
Oh being one single person with a unique personality is also different from being a person who has a partner. In my personal opinion, sometimes you may also change your personality depending on your partner's personality too. That's what we call adjustment or compromise. Do you agree? It's okay if you don't agree, that's just my opinion based on my experiences and from what I can see from my friends or the people I've known.
So, we gotta know. Now, let me try to identify or classify types of partners we have in the world. (hihi, I am not trying to be a love expert, I just want to share and have a nice little discussion with you). Let's make this taglish bukod sa nagmamadali ako, para mas madaling idescribe.

Controlling
Partner na sya lang nasusunod kung ano gusto. Self-centered. Diktador. Magtatanong ng gusto mo para lang masabi na willing to compromise pero at the end decision nya pa din ang ipipilit nya.
Wala namang masamang maging controlling sa ibang bagay, pero wag naman sana sa lahat ng bagay na tipong kala mo pagmamay ari mo yung isang tao.
Submissive
May mga tao na takot maiwan ng jowa kaya kahit ayaw mo eh o-OO ka na lang sa mga gusto ng partner mo. May advantages dn naman ang paggiging submissive pero wag mo din hayaan na itake advantage ka ng partner mo.

Clingy
Ito yung taong ayaw ka mawaglit sa mata nila. Yung tipong ultimo hininga mo kelangan nararamdaman nya sa ilalim ng tenga nya. Yung kulang na lang maging conjoined twins kayo sa sobrang love nya sayo. Eto yung mga tipo ng jowa na minsan annoying pero minsan cute din. Pero ang clingyness ay inaayon din sa sitwasyon at dapat din makiramdam.
Social media flaunter
Post sa FB ng holding hands. Post sa IG ng travel. Post sa myday or IG stories ng dates. Uy, walang masama sa ganyan ha. Cute nga yun eh. Pero don't be fooled by the rocks that I've got. I'm still, I'm still Jenny from the block...HAHAHAHAHHAHA uy kinanta nyo ba ulit?
De pero may mga couples or isa sa magjowa na ganito. Yung tipong si jowa ang photographer para sa social media profile mo tska para makita ng lahat na ang saya ng love story nyo. Pero hindi lahat masaya, katulad nga ng sabi nila there's always a sad story behind a happy picture. (teka ako lang ata nagsabi nun)
Future planner
Ito yung tipo na kapag nagkaroon ng jowa nagbibilang na agad ng anak. HAHAHAHA. BAKIT BAAAAA! Syempre nagjowa ka nga para magkaroon ng pamilya in the future diba HAHAHAH. I admit, naging ganito ako dati sa mga naunang relationships ko. Yung feeling ko sya na ang THE ONE. Oo sya nga, sya nga ang the one na manloloko sken at paglalaruan ako. Bwakanang SHizzzz.
Dito tayo nanlulumo lalo na sa mga long term relationships. Minsan di din totoo yung sa hinaba haba ng prosisyon, dun tayo sa short cut mahahantong (may sense ba?) Anyway, walang masama pero wag din kakalimutan na magtira sa sarili.
Selfless
Another form of being martyr. Love is blind. This is the kind of love na masarap suklian, pero usually kapag may bigay ng bigay meron ding take lang ng take. Nakalimutan ata nila na it takes two to tango ang relationship.
Kaya wag din natin kakalimutan na magtira ng konting pagmamahal para sa sarili.
Mature
Ay, hihi, ay wait. Seriously speaking, eto yung mga taong imbis na magaway makikipagdiskusyon sayo about this, about that. Yung willing makinig sa opinion mo and titignan ang pros and cons at maghihintay sa desisyon mo. Eto yung mga taong magaling magcompromise at magbasa ng ugali ng jowa.
Maturity doesn't come in age, sometimes it is based on their experience on how to handle a situation. OOOOOY inglis! Kaya idol ko yan si Rico Blanco.
Sweety baby
Pabebe. Uy walang masamang maging pabebe. Minsan ang cute din magpabebe lalo na kapag may pinapahiwatig ka or may gusto ka na gawin ng jowa mo. Yung sweet na tama lang dapat. I don't know if depende din sa age to ha kasi. Pano ko ba talaga iddescribe to. Sige nga kayo na lang magdescribe!

Walang masama sa mga nabanggit na klase ng jowa kasi one way or another nagiging ganyan naman talaga tayo. Ako personally, I am a little bit of each NOW, pero nung mga unang relationships ko, martyr, selfless, submissive ako kasi feeling ko di ako mabubuhay nang walang jowa. Bata pako nun at ngayon mulat nako sa katotohanan. Kelangan lang maging balanse tayo sa partner natin at importante eh makilala nyo at mahuli nyo ang kiliti ng bawat isa. Keep everything in moderation.

A little is good but not bad.

Oh no I failed to post an article yesterday because of my headache. I told my husband about it yesterday and he said that I might be due to lack of sleep. I don't think I lack sleep though, I was able to sleep 8 hours yesterday and got to sleep in the after with Lil B but yet my head still aches. My husband also has a habit of self-diagnosing. Last time, he self-diagnosed that he has ulcer and it's annoying that he thinks that he really has ulcer without confirmin or asking a doctor, he said that all his symptoms fit but he just checked Google. Well, Google tells us the worst conditions. So I told him the same thing, I told him that I have migraine. He replied, 'baka mataas na tolerance mo sa pain reliever?' and I answered 'No, this is migraine I checked google'. He didn't answer back, again. HAHAHHAA
Anyway, yesterday it was Lil B's check up. It was just a regular check up as her next vaccine will be next month for Japanese Encephalitis.
It was kind of worried because for the last 3 months, Lil B is only gaining a little weight. I know that since she started standing up and became more active physically, she'd really gain not much weight compared to her first few months. But yesterday on her weigh in she only gained 0.05 kg, from 8.2kg to 8.25kg in a month.
I was a bit alarmed and worried because I am thinking if am I feeding her not enough? Well, I feed solids her 4 times a day. Let me share our meal plan.
***Breakfast****: Yogurt/oatmeal with crackers/bread and she gets to dede after taking a bath*
***Lunch****: Potato/kamote as her carbs/rice, veggies/or green veggies as her ulam or if we have fresh meat like chicken or fish available and then any fruit as her dessert. Dede before taking a nap.*
***Snack****: same with breakfast plan but alternate on what she ate on breakfast. If she ate yogurt for breakfast, I'll give her oatmeal in the afternoon.*
***Dinner****: Same with her lunch, alternate food on what she had for lunch too but a little less compared on what I feed her during lunch.*
This meal plan may not be ideal. Our pedia asked if she's still latching and I am pretty sure that she's getting just enough milk from me. She advised us to give he more food than the usual and give her more protein food.
I feel like she's gaining weight though. Her gaining not so much weight is not that alarming considering the fact that me and my husband have a slim body type (before I gave birth at least).
Now we have mombod and dadbod now hahahaha!
I think I don't have to worry about it, I will just take our pedia's advice to give her more food for now because all of the nutrients that Lil B eats were just burning enough for her physical activities. She's also a sweaty lil girl, I have to condsider that too.
The thing that got me at ease is she did grow about an cm long. Knowing that she's growing and still looks healthy is already enough for me.

Oh by the way, last Wednesday I went along with my sister to visit our OB, we have the same doctor when we got pregnant. My sister initially planned to get an implant as her contraceptive, they went to an NGO office last Monday in Quezon city as the offer free contraceptive implants. Unfortunately, she didn't make it on the line because the slots for that day has already been accumulated, instead she decided to continue to get injectibles from our OB.
Then, yes I went along for a check up. It has been 9months since I gave birth and no mentruation yet. They say, breastfeeding moms usually takes longer for their menstruation to be back. My sister got her mens back after 15 months. The reason I wanted to get checked because I've been having dysmenorrhea like pain that lasts for a minute or two. Last year, I've been experiencing the same pain almost everyday. That's why I had a papsmear so we can check. As for the lab results of my papsmear, there's no cervical cancer detected but there's a mild inflamation. My OB asked me to take antibiotics via suppository for 5 days. After that, the pain stopped but only for a month. Now, it's back again and the pain is a little bit stronger. From the scale of 1 to 10, I rated is as 8 because I have to pause whatever I am doing while I am experiencing the pain.
My OB asked to do a urinalysis to be sure or to see if I have UTI. We waited and after we got the results, my urine is pretty normal but a little bit dehydrated. So UTI is out, for us to figure out why I am having that pain is to do a transV ultrasound which I have yet to do hahaha.
Another pain that I am experiencing is in my chest. I told my OB about that too and I told her that the pain wasn't like that I am running out of breath. I am confident that it wasn't a heart problem because the pain only occurs on a certain position or usually after I carry Lil B. She said it can be muscle pain or costochondritis which can be treated by pain reliever but to be sure, she advised to do an ECG.
Haaaay, I know. I don't want to take pain relievers.
**okay, let's go back and see how am I doing.**
I am feeling meh and I feel like I don't have the liberty to have my me time. Sometimes I feel that my parents are always too tired to take a look at my Lil so I can at least take a bath. I am not being an ungrateful daughter but sometimes I think staying here in my parents doesn't serve its purpose. That's why right after Lil B's birthday we'll move to Leyte, where my husband works.

Last week I need to strip, strip, strip that'll never stop. Whoa. I need to strip, strip, strip, till you just go pop. Whoaaaa. Did you sing it again? HAHAHAH. Oh wait, this is a different kind of stripping. Not the strip that you are thinking of.

Alright, how did I strip? Char! This is stripping is a thorough way of cleaning or washing cloth diapers. Strip cleaning is done to remove combat stains, build up stain/smell or if you noticed that the cloth diaper inserts are not absorbent anymore. This is simply resetting the cloth diapers.
Oh by the way, cloth diapers are lampins but of course to make it look more nice, people came up with designed cloth diapers. Don't worry, I'll share pictures later. This might be helpful for other mommies or soon to be moms too.
*What are cloth diapers?*
As mentioned earlier, it's just simply *lampin,* reusable cloth made of either natural or man-made absorbent fibers.
*Why use cloth diapers?*
There are a lot of benefits of using a cloth diaper. By the way, my sister was the one who introduced us to cloth diapers, that's why when I gave birth I decided to let my baby use cloth diapers too. There are also pros and cons in using cloth diapers.
***Keep in mind that I am not hating on mommies or parents who use disposable diapers, I just want to enlighten and help other mommies or soon to be moms that there are other options when it comes to baby needs. Your choice should always depend on your convenience or your preference.**
**Pros**
Reuseable up to 3 years of age.
Less waste. Save mother earth
More savings over time compared to buying disposable diapers within the first 3 years of age.
Cute designs. (There are brands that you can choose from depending on your preference)
Less skin rash. (Disposable diapers still has chemicals that may harm baby skin)
Can be kept or passed down to siblings or sell it as second-hand item.
**Cons**
More energy and water usage, for cleaning and laundry time.
Upfront investment. (There are other Work-at-home-moms WAHMs, that offers Layaway options)
Some brands or materials are pricy depending on the cloth or design used
Not travel friendly. (You need an extra bag when you travel for used cds)
Not babysitter or daycare friendly. (Most people do not know how to put on CDs correctly that may result to leakage)

Just a side story, one of my friends who just gave birth asked me about the cloth diapers that I put up for sale. I told her that do you plan to use or try it? and she said she's interested to try. Knowing her, I asked her if she's sure because she will need time and dedication to take care of the cloth diapers and do the laundry every other day or at least once a week. She answered, 'Si Kenet (husband) yung naglalaba eh' then I told her just to use disposables as she and her husband is both working.
Personal experience
Good thing that I tried using cloth diapers to Lil B as early as 3months. That time, I can say that I already have recovered on my C-section. Personally aside from the cute designs that I've seen on my niece's CDs, basically I want to help save money. My husband is the only one working so as much as possible I want to lessen the expenses. I am a full time stay at home mom so I can take care of the laundry too.
It was hard to start because I need to familiarize and know what to do and not to do. Thanks to my sister, she was my go-to person when it comes to CD-ing. She also would lend my some of my niece's cloth diaper so I can try what will work for us. My sister gave us 6pcs of cloth diapers for newborns as a gift. Then I bought 2nd hand cloth diapers in Carousell.
It was really hard to build up a permanent stash because there are different types and brands that you can choose from. I joined a lot of cloth diapering groups and brands looking for other affordable ones. Other moms find it pricy but there are still other cheap but good quality cloth diapers, you just really have to look, even on Shopee.
Now, I have different brands and types. I have already achieved enough number of cloth diapers for one week worth of laundry. I'll share the brands and type of CDs we have, before I share that let's go back to the topic of strip cleaning. :)
Stripping
Stripping is also advised to do for newly bought CDs so that the cloth will be more absorbent.
Here's how:
I noticed that Lil B's wiwi became more smelly even if she's still on her and she got a little few rashes. I asked my sister again regarding the issue then she asked me to strip the diapers. Anyway, we've been using the cloth diapers for about 5 to 6 months. She told me that sometimes after frequent use of CDs it may cause for the cloth to become less absorbent or smell build up, that could be the reason why my Lil B had rashes.
I decided to strip all the CDs all in one laundry but I need to buy a few disposable diapers for her to use while I am stripping her CDs. Why? Because it may take time washing all of the CDs since you cannot pull all of it in the washing machine, plus the inserts and she has more than 40 CDs and at the same time I have to take care of Lil B.
I went to the grocery store to buy disposable diapers and I was stuck in the diaper isle. I cannot decide what brand and size to buy.
Now, let's do the stripping.
STEP 1: regular wash the CDs
STEP 2: stripping time!
I used dishwashing liquid because the detergent rlr is pricy.
STEP 3: Soak CDs shells for 4-6 hours and inserts overnight.
STEP 4: Rinse the CD shells and inserts until no more soap bubbles can be seen (unli banlaw)
Oh I wasn't able to rinse it right away because my motha was doing her laundry too. It's not advisable to leave it soaked in water for too long too. Instead, I soaked the inserts again with boiling hot water. I didn't include the shells because the material may be damaged in hot water)
STEP 5: Wash it with your regular detergent. While I soaked the inserts with hot water, at the same time I washed the shells regularly.
It took me 2 days to finish washing the CDs because of my motha but I am still glad that I finished it and the CDs look clean and bright, looks like brand new to be honest.
Stuffing
Of course after drying up the CDs, I need to prepare them for next use. I need to stuff the inserts in the shell. I find it somehow fun and therapeutic, sometime I do stuffing when Lil B is asleep or I let her play with her newly washed CDs while I stuff it. It's also kind of a hobby to count it every time I wash it. Just to make sure everything is present hahaha!

Raphabumbum Cds were the pricy ones but I cannot deny the quality of the material used. Even though its a bit expensive, it's still worth the price. Oh I have one more, my sister gave this as a chirstmas presetn to Lil B.
It's actually a terno set with sando. I only used disposable diapes when Lil B was just a newborn baby and I immediately used CDs to take advantage of it because other moms who used CDs a little be late find it hard to potty train their babies because of course they want their babies to wear cute CDs.

If you are interested to use modern cloth diapers, just make sure that you will be dedicated to CD-ing and there's nothing wrong if you use just the traditional lampin. Lampins are very helpful to those moms who lost jobs and cannot afford to buy disposable diapers.

Syempre dun tayo sa talino kasi wala akong ganda eh hahahah! Tska sa teknolohiya ngayon, pwede mong mabili ang ganda. facial dito, derma jan, nose job dito, microblade ng kilay jan.
Mas madali ding gawing puhunan sa buhay ang talino kesa sa ganda, kasi ang talino kahit tumanda ka maslumalawak pa ang kaalaman mas magagamit mo din sya sa maraming bagay. Kung ganda, sa mga bagay na ginagamitan lang ng ganda pwede mo sya magamit, tska high maintenance maging maganda eh. shuskoooo
***TAHIMIK OR MAINGAY?***
Depende sa klase ng tahimik at ingay. Pero generally, mas gusto ko yung maingay. Yung tipong white, gray noise or natural na noise tska music na kaya indahin ng tenga ko. Dun kasi ako mas narerelax.
Ayaw ko din ng sobrang tahimik, nakakabaliw sya sa isip ko. May sabit na nga ako edi mas magkasabit pa ako nyan.

Pandemic babies

It was a very great weekend spent in our home as my sisters and our husbands were home. It was just very nice to think that my sisters and I weren't close when we were kids or when we were still students but there was a point that we started being close. I don't know maybe maturity hit us that's why we don't fight that much and try to understand each other instead.
Since we are complete in our parents' home, I asked my sisters if they want to go to the park the next morning. Restrictions have been lifted to level 3 so kids can already go outside. Even if the restrictions are lifted we are still hesitant to go anywhere, specially in crowded or closed areas or establishments. I told them that we should go while it's Friday as there will be more people and kids during Saturdays and Sundays. Good thing that they agreed and sister M was forced to wake up early hahahah!
The 2 kids were already dressed and we took a tricycle to go there instead of walking because we have kids with us.
As you can see, there weren't many kids in the play park.
As soon as we got there, I asked my niece to get try the slide. Oh by the way, let's name her Lil H. She's 2 y/o and it's her first time to go on a park and a place to play. She was hesitant to try the slide as she doesn't know how it works but my sister M, her mother, showed her how to slide and then she immediately followed. Well, as expected she enjoyed it. There were 3 types of slides and she tried all of them. There was a swing and see-saw too!
When she got the hang of it, she goes on without our help getting on the slide and going into other slides. She ran like there's no tomorrow. She ran going to the other slides, going to the see-saw, and going to the little horse.
Seeing her play around, made us realize that kids have been really affected by the pandemic. It's hard to think that Lil H and Lil B was born during this time but we are still trying our best to that they can still experience the normal way of playing as a child.
My sister takes her out every morning walking in their subdivision. I can say that they are pretty lucky to live in a neighborhood with no public transportation jeepneys passing by, they get to walk around nearby their house. Just to get a bit of Vitamin D as well. Lil H has a few friends in their neighborhood too but there's no playground in their neighborhood that's why we can say that she was really overwhelmed playing in the park.
Lil B on the other hand was just with us because she can't walk yet. She was also overwhelmed with a few kids running around and surrounded by a few more people. We still managed to get in to the see-saw, we wanted the kids to try the swing but the other kids were still using the swing. In parks, swings were always the best seller hahahah!
After a few minutes of playing, chasing Lil H we decided to sit and take a break. Sister M was also tired chasing after her daughter running around like there's no tomorrow.
Then I noticed an ice cream vendor standing under the tree. We bought ice cream of course, (kikim) as what Lil H say it.
Surprisingly, a large sweetconed ice cream costs 20 pesos. Then my niece noticed a balloon vendor and suddenly called Jj.
Look how happy she was, of course since it's her first time seeing a Jj balloon , the titas bought her one.
Oh let me share how happy my Lil B too.
We were also lucky as the day wasn't hot, so the kids get to enjoy playing. Then we decided to go home after an hour.
It was really a nice day and I hope we can do it again soon.

I always document special memories whenever my sisters or my husband is home. My sisters and I grew up sleeping in just one little room and now that we have our own families, it saddens me to think that we will need to part ways. So we have to save good memories for now. :)
And we hopenthat this pandemic will end soon., So kids can go back to enjoying their childhood.

I am a masochistic B** char! Maybe I would like to take the credit as the one that sacrificed? Hahahahah mas charot! Well, seriously speaking, it's hard for me to see my loved ones turn into zombies. I will not have a reason to go on if they turned first. Do I worry if I might kill or eat my loved ones? Yes, but before I turn I still can think of ways not to before I turn. Hmmm just like the teenage mother who gave birth in the series. OOOPS!

Prepare, escape, go somewhere else that is more equipped. If there's a place like that before they come.

I think I prefer a small group. A big group is hard to manage and someone may not follow instructions. It would also be easy to decide because you don't need a lot of people to vote for a specific decision.

Women traditionally change their last names when they get married. Most men or husband doesn't know how inconvenient it is to change their wife's name can be.
Imagine, you've been using your father's last name since you were born and let's say you've been using it your whole life then change it once you get married. Simply you will need to change your identity, your Id's, your marital status and sometimes your whole being too.
Should we get married?
By the way, I got married last year, a few months before I gave birth. When I got pregnant, my husband and I discussed if we will get married before or after I give birth. It's actually not a big deal to me because I know that he will be a responsible father and husband. I didn't even think of myself aside from the assurance that he will take care of our baby once I gave birth.
Of course, both of our parents wants us to get married before I gave birth because you know how traditional older generations could be. There were only 2 thoughts in my mind that time.

Do we have enough money for a wedding?
I don't have a job that time but my husband has enough savings that we can use. My father in law told my husband that we should get married before I give birth so that we will have less paperworks when it comes to Lil B's name or in the birth certificate or whatever. In short, they want our baby to be a legitimate child.

Identification
Of course, after our wedding I will need to change my name. Oooops, do I have to?
Well, there are few ways or options on what name can a woman use after getting married. (I will not quote on the law but I know that it is in the law, I just don't have enough time to do the research hahaha! And I will just use layman's term so we can easily understand)
Maiden name (simply using your name, change it to MRS. as and indication of your marital status)
Traditional way of using your husband's last name
Using your husband's full name and use the prefix, MRS.
Hyphenated last name (your surname-husband's last name)
So technically, you don't have to do all the paperworks if you still want to keep your maiden name. It was just very traditional to change our last names as not all women know about these laws, which was actually nice for women to have options like this so we can still keep and have our own identity. Sometimes after being married, women tend to be always associated with their husband but mentally or psychologically, keeping our lastnames are somehow a relieve that we were not just labeled as a 'wife of someone'. You get the idea?
My Id's
Well before I got married, I lost my wallet contaiing my Id's. I think it was way back 2017. I have voter's id, philhealth id, and TIN id and a few secondary id's. I have't requested for an SSS or UMID because I don't have a fixed working schedule and it was hard to line up in the sss office, probably it will take a day for me to do so.
Well, I was only able to get a new philhealth and TIN id which are secondary ID's. When I planned to get a replacement voter's ID, COMELEC didn't approve any replacement ID requests that time because it was the time when the gov't debates for a National ID instead. So yeah, those are the IDs that I still have until now. When I got married, my husband asked me to get a valid Id to avoid any problems on requirement for a particular investment. I still haven't requested a new one yet because I find it hard to leave my Lil B at home.
Now I plan to get a postal ID, UMID and a driver's license with my married name too. Oh by the way, I am planning to use the hyphenated last name so I can still keep my name along with my husband's lastname. I just hope that my name will fit in an ID size paper HAHAHAH!
NATIONAL ID
WOW! For years of debate and the gov't decided to implement the national ID, which I have been waiting for. Well, getting a new voter's ID years ago would've been easier.
Anyway, getting a national ID is very easy. You can register and set an appointment online but now you can walk-in. I believe there are PhilSys booth in Ayala malls and SM malls.
We have a nearby Ayala mall here and I would always forget to drop by to register there whenever I buy groceries, plus when they put the restrictions to alert 3 more people were lining up in the booth. The first time I attempted to register failed because I only have IDs using my maiden name, so I will need a PSA copy of our marriage certificate before I can proceed. As soon as I have a copy, the more people lined up on the booth so I wasn't able to register immediately and then I would always forget to register whenever I pass by the mall.
Last week, we went to another Ayala Mall and we accidentally passed by a PhilSys booth. Good thing that there were less than 10 people on the booth. We went to the mall to buy clothes for the wedding that we will attend next month. After we bought the clothes we went back to the Philsys booth and registered.
Yes, I always bring my PSA copy marriage certificate with me HAHAHAH! It's always in my wallet but I still forget to pass by the booth in the mall near our house.
You only need one valid ID (primary or secondary) and National Id registration form that will be given on the booth. Just simply fill it out and they will assist you on the line.
As you can see in the picture, there were 3 lines that and it was around past 5 pm but they are still open and still calling for other people who wants to get the national ID.
We waited for our turn and they will encode the information written on our forms and then register your finger prints and do an iris scan.
No worries! They will ask you to check the information before submitting the request and printing the claim stub/form. It was just quick maybe less than 30 minutes if there are no people on the line.
According to them, residents from Metro Manila can receive the ID's within 3-4 months and 3-10 months for provincial residents. I just hope that our ID's will be delivered sooner than that.
Is the national ID a valid ID?
Well, I've been seeing posts especially for those people who are openning a bank account, the banks do not accept National IDs as a primary ID as it doesn't have any signature. This is the loophole when the government suddenly implemented the National ID. They haven't integrated businesses that requires ID or signature on IDs as a requirement. Banks are also particular about identity and most of the time they need a wet signature on paper on any documents to be signed and as well as in IDs. I checked PhisSys' FB page and they are now working on it. I just hope it gets sorted out soon too.
One more advantage of getting a national ID is it doesn't have an expiration date. Yey! No renewal fees.

Baby Cosplay: #9 Karasuno's Tobio Kage-Shasha

Parents have their own dreams for their child but in our generation, we don't have to tell them what they would like to be. But for now, our Lil B will be who ever we want to be hahahaha!
It seems like it was just a few months ago when you just got out of mommy's tummy. I can still remember your kicks when you were still in my tummy and now you are kicking me in full force, from head to toe o.o
A few days ago, daddy was home and my sisters visited too. All of us were here during the weekend, it was fun! It was very timely because it was Lil B's 9th month too. I am grateful as they can help me taking pictures and where the ones who have good quality camera so I was able to take advantage of that as well.
As soon as they got here, I immediately asked them to take photos and assist me. Boy, it's getting harder to take pictures at this age that's why I needed more help and assistance.
Oh by the way, it's another anime character from Haikyuu. I love volleyball that's why I got interested in that anime too. Good thing I found a onesie on Shopee for around 200 pesos and you can also ask the seller to customize the number. I picked Tobio Kageyama's jersey number, #9, as it was also Lil B's 9th month.
Though the onesie is already okay with the theme, I still wanted to costume as real as possible. I asked my nanay if she still have a scrap black cloth that can fit a pair of shorts, so we can make a real jersey. I borrowed a volleyball from my brother in law too. Then we just bought siopao as our meal. Why siopao? Because Karasuno's new coach has a convenient store and they would always buy siopao after their training.

She actually loved playing the ball. Hmmmm will she be a v'baller too?

We were about to start taking pictures and I realized that she wasn't wearing shoes. I haven't bought her shoes because we dont go out that much.
It's almost pictorial time and her cousin really loves to pose and wants to be in the picture too! No problem!
Sometimes I feel like I am pressuring her I m sorry lil b. Her head hit the floor while she was playing the ball though, good thing I still have fast reflexes I was able to slide my hand on the floor before her head hit the floor, I know just like a real volleyball player save. HAHAHAHA CHAR!

She dances by head banging whenever she hears music
She has 3 teeth now. Her top tooth is already coming out
She can already grab or hold food and puts it in her mouth.
She can already stand up for at least 10secs and tries to take a step. I think she was able to take a step once or twice.
She knows how to play her saliva by trying to make it bubble.
I've been making a collage every month and it's almost full.

Happy Sunday Read.cash family! Let me just post something short for today while I am still recovering my body from the past few days. I was a bit busy because I want to maximize husband's stay for a few days. It's been a month since he came home. Lil B and daddy surely had great time while he's here. This week, I'll be posting more because we still have something to do next week, you know family stuff.

By the way, I wasn't interacting that much when I first started posting here on Read.cash because Lil B was just about 3-4 months old and I rarely have time to go online on read.cash aside from posting an article. Now that I can interact more to other users, I usually get an impression or they always find my username funny (in a good way, I think hahaha!) or interesting, perhaps? And for sure, they already know by my username that I am a Filipino.

**How** did I come up with my username?
Honestly, it just popped up in my head when I was creating a social media account. When I was young.... I never needed anyone.... Ooops sorry. Don't sing along hahah! Well when I was young or around highschool years, almost everyone wants to have a cutie patootie username or email addresses. I tried to be on trend honestly. Bad move, I hate being jeje. My teenage self used ming2meoww as my email address or username. I know, I know, that's why I changed it into something more catchy and nonsense with a little bit of my personality too. I was choosing between Micontingsabit or Micontingtililing, obviously I chose the first one.
For those who haven't checked out my previous article, Micon is my nickname and I thought that whenever I am surrounded with friends I would always act naturally crazy, adventurous, or just simply insane hahaha. As we refer crazy as 'may sabit', why not make it sound like that.
Well, so much for being creative hahaha! I also use that username in my social media accounts. I don't like having different usernames as I am a very forgetful person and I just want all of my online accounts be identical.
Advantage?
It was very easy to create and account in other online platforms. Whenever I try to create an online account that requires a username, it seems like no one has thought of the same username. I don't have to worry if my username is taken or not.
One more thing is some users here find it funny that I can get to interact with them, some of them also thought I am a guy. :)

Of course I have to test how cold the water first upon turning on the shower or faucet then my toes, my knees, my shoulders, my head. Did you sing it? HAHAHHAHA! Gotcha! But no joke, I do it that way. It's not good to wet your head first medically speaking because the temperature the water and sudden change of temperature of your body from hot to cold (vice-versa) may also affect your body not in a good way. If there are nurses or doctors reading this, let me know if it's wrong. I am open to any suggestions, advise or correction of the info. :)

When I was still single, I spend at least 30 mins. Now that I am a breastfeeding mother, my bathing time will depend on the situation.
If there's someone who can look after Lil B, I take my time showering. That is one of the times that I can have a me time, so better make the most out of it. I can spend 30 minutes to an hour, plus I can now control my pooping time. I poop before I take a shower so it can be longer.
If there's no one to look after Lil B or if my sister and mother is busy, it usually take less than 30 mins. Sometimes less if they cannot pacify Lil B.

Oh by the way, I am a very cheap person so I don't usually use a lot of products.
**Soap** - Safeguard, papaya soap (Top Gel), or sulfur soap or moisturizing soap available at home. Sometimes I use 3 soaps if I have the time because there's a lot of soaps at home that no one uses.
I use Safeguard for my body and face.
Papaya soap for my face if we have one.
Moisturizing soap (Dove) - we or I don't use moisturizing soap because I am a very sweaty person and I feel like I would sweat more and I'd feel malagkit after a few hours.
**Shampoo** - Head and Shoulders
Oh boy we have it in our genes. All of us or even my cousins have a history of dandruff so we would always buy H&S shampoo. I also don't shampoo my hair everyday because anti-dandruff shampoo can also dry your hair. Did I mention that I bleach my hair most of the time when I change my hair color? So yeah, shampooing your hair every other day is healthy for my hair and scalp. Natural hair oil is also good for your scalp and hair. :)
**Conditioner** - any brand available

I am catching up for yesterday as I was busy cleaning our apartment coz the husband/daddy is home! Plus I washed or stripped my Lil B's cloth diapers, so I have to use disposable diapers for a couple of days while thoroughly cleaning the diapers.
Okay Tagalog muna para mabilis. Bakit nga ba Salamat o Goodbye Shopee ang title?
Napansin ko lang na less and less na ang pagorder ko ng kung ano ano sa Shopee. Uy! Achievement yon! Nakakaloka yung payear-end eme ni Shopee pero di naman kami nagsisisi kasi usually yung mga binili ko dati is mga kailangan ni bb at mga special requests ni mister (bilang pera naman nya yon). Bihira ako magorder ng para sken kasi una sa lahat, wala akong pera (pero pwede naman ako magsabi kay mister hahaha), pangalawa, wala akong maisip na mabili para sa sarili ko bukod sa pagkain ang gusto ko HAHAHAHHA!
Pero tignan pa din natin kung may katuturan ba ang mga napamili ko nitong Feb.

Yes, bumili ako ulit ng LCD ng phone ko kasi nasira ulit ang screen. Nahulog ko sya at dahil sa sidewalk na bakubako sya nalaglag nabasag. Pero replacing the LCD screen is still cheaper than buying a new one for me hehehehe.
Di ko din alam kung bakit lately parang hindi na tight ang grip ng hands ko kasi andami kong nalalaglag all of a sudden. Sabi ng sister and husband ko baka dahil sa pagbubuhat ng baby, parang may carpal tunner syndrome daw for mommies ganun. Pero iresearch ko yan next time.
Pa cute lang sa bahay to hahaha char! Nakatry kasi ako nung silicon na scrub and napansin ko na maganda sya ipanghilamos talaga so para magamit ko yung mga tiratirang papaya soap dito eh bumili ako nung bote. Tinunaw ko yung sabon sa tubig ts nilagay ko jan sa foaming bottle with silicon scrub.
Nitry ko din yung gel toilet cleaner. Actually okay sya, maganda pero after ilang days parang yung dumi na naiipon sa toilet naging red? why? how? hahahaha pero malinis at mabango naman. Madali nga lang maubos kung trigger happy ka maglagay nyan dahil sa design nya hahaha.
Dahil mahal ang mosquito patches at kelangan marami akong ilagay sa damit ng anak ko nauubos sya agad. Yung 100 pesos na 12 patches pwede lang sya maglast in a week. Pero bumibili pa din ako ng Baby Care Mosquito lotion kasi yun talaga effective kay Lil B mabango pa. We usually buy Citronella spray sa kakilala ng kapatid ko kaso madalas na out of stock , gusto din kasi ni husband yun kasi mabango kaso wala na kami makuha madalas. Kaya naghanap ako sa shopee if meron. This nakita ko to, okay naman sya for its price and yung dami kaso nadisappoint ako kasi akala ko spray talaga sya katulad nung binibili namin dati ayun pala citronella spray lotion. Ayun, eh di naman naglolotion yung asawa ko mas gusto nya yung naiispray lang sa damit or sa uniform nya. haist. Pero okay ang product kasi gamit sya ng mother ko, mas prefer lang talaga namin yung naiispray sa damit.
Eto mga eklat eklat para sa asawa ko since may apartment na kami sa Leyte, soon kasi susunod na din kami doon. So ayan, mga maliit na bagay hahha.

I might be already late to post about this, but I am still gonna post it anyway. I know that couples usually go out during Valentine's Day (feb. 14) as a sign of their appreciation or love for their partner. As for me, Valentine's day wasn't an occassion for me. Why? Because I treat everyday as Valentine's day.
I feel like it's so mainstream that boys/guys will suprise their wife/girlfriend with flowers and chocolates. Sweet right? But sometimes I find it ugggh, I am not bitter to be honest. I just don't feel like it, but I will still appreciate any Valentine gesture. (Pakipot pa!)
There were only a few valentine's date that I can remember from my former boyfriends. I don't know why, by the way I am not being selective but I can't just really recall some of the valentine's date I had with them. Imagine being in a longterm relationship and I can barely recall any valentine's date with them.
Well, let me just share the valentine's date that I can still remember, with my husband. **yiiieeeee!
2020
We were still dating that time and he invited me to go out. I can still remember that he let his friend borrow his car that day because I said we can commute or we will just eat dinner. Apparently it was a wrong move! It's not convenient to commute during Valentine's day.
We met in Araneta Center, Cubao as it is where we first did our EB (Eye-Ball, so 90s) hahahaha! I wanted him to try the ramen in Souper Hot Ramen in Cubao where in you can pick all the noodle, veggies or meat that you want and it'll cost only 1peso per gm
Yet, we still went to UP Town Center to have dinner. It was the first time to dine in Marugame Udon. I love ramen and I have tried an authentic cheap ramen in Ermita, Manila and that's actually favorite ramen house. Since Manila is quite far, he wanted me to try Marugame Udon instead. I was actually surprised, that I find it better than Ramenagi (especially when it comes to the price). I still find Ramenagi so overpriced, to the point that I cannot enjoy it.
Then we went to UP Fair. We didn't really plan to go there and we didn't buy tickets. Usually the last day or Feb 14 solds out first. So we just hung out beside the venue while listening to the bands perform live.
Oh by the way, this is his first valentine gift.
I kept the flowers. Also the first time that I kept flowers hahaha.

I was already pregnant that time. HAHAHAHAH I know so fast. It was really funny because my husband wasn't the type of guy who will get you something as a surprise. Since I was also pregnant, I was a bit emotional and I felt like he's not gonna suprise me that may make me feel not bad but sad because he was in the province. I know that he doesn't have any idea what to do so I told him an online store wherein my bestrfriend used to order flowers for her girlfriend. I simply gave him a hint! hAHAHAHAHHA!
I was surprised that in the evening of Feb 14 2021, a delivery came. It wasn't a bouquet of flowers but he knows that I don't like fresh flowers. Here's what he got me.

Well this year, I wasn't expecting and I also didn't give a hint but I was surprised that he messaged me.
We are also kind of saving up for other more important expenses that's why we only had a little online date as well. I ordered pizza and milktea and he also ordered pizza and milktea on his end. Oh by the way, he was still in the province that's why we had to order matchy food so we can feel a little real date hahaha.
Just a little simple date because he'll be here soon! We will have our own date once he gets here.

It's not just today but everyday. Lil B makes me smile everyday. From the moment the wakes up, she always gives a contagious smile. Let me just take this time to post while the Lil B is sleeping. I also think that my whole personality is being challenged at this stage of being a mother. Why? Wait, let me just introduce my lovely sponsors, check them out and have fun too!
I know that today will be flooded by valentine date posts, I will share a little bit of our Valentine's day later. For now, I just need help, advise or suggestions from other parents or mothers here.
Some of you may already know my daughter, she's turning 9months this week and she's starting to be more active.
She is now on the stage that she tries to stand up on her own. She just simply need something to hold on to (or me or someone) when she stands and lets go. She is already trying to balance her body and sometimes attempts to take a step. Of course she still does fall but the more she tries and the longer she can stand on her own.
I am also one of the moms who gets a good night sleep cause she doesn't wake up in the middle of the night. Pretty lucky for a sleepyhead mother too, I may say.
Last week
This actually started last week or a few weeks ago. I don't know if she's teething or her tooth on her upper gums will come out soon, but she was so very clingy. I know that breastfedding moms usually have a clingy infant/toddler because of the breasfeeding bond, but for me it was kind of a bit different. She doesn't want to be put down anywhere or should I say she wants to be with me all the time. I know, I know, all babies need attention and babies are very clingy to mothers but how more clingy she can get for the next days, weeks or months.
Yes, I admit I have an issue with clingyness. I don't like to be around with someone 24/7. I get pissed off easily, especially with my ex- boyfriends. If they get too clingy, thank you next is the next step. However, being a mother is different. Being with your child 24/7 is very challenging to a person like me. I can't just say, thank you next to my Lil B. Don't get me wrong, I love her, I love being a mom but sometimes I think how can I be myself again. huhuhu.
I am an active, very playful person, literally playful. One advantage of being like that is I can play with her all the time regardless of my energy level. But there were times that I just want to rest for a bit. By the way, me and Lil B are staying with my parents while my husband is in the province for work. He'll be here this week too, for just a few days.
Back up
Sometimes I also find it annoying that my father will get Lil B while she's playing alone with her toys or sometimes in the morning my father gets her while she's still asleep. My father carries her for a few minutes, around 5 to 10mins tops, then brings her back to me and ends up crying. So the relaxing me, needs to carry her.
One more annoying thing about my parents is they like to put her to sleep. Great right, but wait there's more. They like to carry her when she cries. Imagine me putting Lil B in her crib then cries but..she just woke up. They carry her and say 'antok ka? sige sleep ka'. Hey, she just woke up, they do this most of the time. I don't know but it gave me an impression that they want her to be a sleep all the time. I don't usually ask them to take care of her unless she's asleep, then I'll take a bath. I don't ask my parents to take care of her all the time because they have other things to do. I don't ask them to take care of her, I only ask them to check her or swing the rocker while she's asleep so I can do other things like eat, do the laundry. I don't ask them to take care of her, while I fold her clothes. Sorry, it just bothers me that they want to let her sleep when she just woke up. Lil B is also an active little human being and it seems like they can't keep up. I am still grateful by the way. I just ask them to take care of her, whenever I do groceries or if me and my husband needs to do something outside.
Good night not good night but still good night.
Oh I mentioned in some of my articles that Lil B already is resisting her sleep. Last night was different and I almost lost my patience. Yes, almost.
I didn't even let her take her 2nd afternoon nap because it was already late so I decided to feed her around past 7pm so she can go straight to sleep right after that. Let's say I can put her to bed around 8pm or 9pm but I was all wrong. She was about to fall asleep and her eyes just closed then suddenly she turned around and tries to get up. Usually I just don't let her get up, I will just hug her then let her turn to me so she can go back to dede-ing. She refused, she strongly refused to dede and still wants to get up. I still didn't let her get up but she managed to turn around and then suddenly her head fell on his arms and became quiet for a few minutes.
By the way, she doesn't sleep like it was the first time though. I thought if she stays like that for a while I will need to turn her around so she can sleep well. But NO! I thought that she was just tired that's why she was quiet. She was quiet because she already fall asleep and then got up! SHE TOOK A POWERNAP! Yes, babies do that too! Literally from 0 to 100 energy level. She's supposed to be asleep around 9pm or before 10pm but because of that powernap she was awake until 12am but still sleepy.
I thought that she will play for a few minutes and I let her play crawling around the bed but she wants to stand up. She wants to practice balancing which we did for maybe 30 mins or more.
We almost stayed up until 12md until my father noticed that she's still awake. Goodness he carried her while they were watching a movie and then she fell asleep after a few minutes.
Why didn't I carry her so she can fall asleep easily instead? It's because I get random chest pains and my back was aching from doing the laundry. I need to strip or clean her cloth diapers thoroughly which is a bit longer process than regular washing which I haven't finished until today.
I am just thankful that being a mother was still on the top of my head than being a selfish b**** that I was. I now have gained more patience too.
Oh by the way, Lil now always resist sleep whenever it's her nap or sleep time. Now she's sleeping and look how cute she is when she fell asleep.

On the other hand, we plan to go to the province with my husband as soon as Lil B learns to walk. Experiencing these things made me think that I we are ready before we go on our own.
I am open to comments, suggestions or advise. It might sound like I needed salvation but I just need more tricks on how to get through it.

I don't like sweets or chocolates and I don't like flowers either as it will die in just a few days. But I'd choose chocolates or I'd prefer white chocolates than flowers because I can't eat the flowers. lels!
Oh by the way, I'd appreciate flowers too but I'd prefer unique ones, doesn't die or food that's shaped like a flower.

I'd rather stay in because aside from the fact that it's more convenient, I don't like to go out that much. For sure there will be a lot of couples in different places ansd restaurant to celebrate. No traffic, no different people, no waiting in line. Plus we can do more things... in the sense that we have more time to celebrate together.

I am trying to remember any memorable Valentine's date that I had with my exboyfriends. I can only recall 2 dates out of my 5 ex-boyfriends.
1, with my 3rd ex boyfriend and I only wanted to hangout and spend the day watching movies or something because I usually get tired after I work so I'd rather rest in some of my days off but +1 for him as he prepared something and when I got in his room, there were flowers and chocolates on the bed. I was like 'hehehehhehe'. Yeah I don't like chocolates and flowers but I appreciate it. Hihi
2, was with my last exboyfriend, now husband. We had our first valentine's date in UP Town Center, we had dinner in Marugame Udon which became our favorite udon restaurant then we decided to go to UP Fair but didn't get in but I still enjoyed my time with him while listening to live bands performing . That was the time that he asked me if he has a chance to be my boyfriend. Of course, i said yes but I want to make sure to myself that my he wasn't a rebound. I told him to give me more time to see and know him better.

That's a lot, I take my man somewher nice. I'll buy you, your friends and your pamileee. Char! Maybe I'll spend it by taking my whole family to a a place that we can all.enjoy. spend it on food that we haven't tasted before. Go to a quiet, peaceful place. I'd be happy yo take my friends with me too. I remember that me and my bestest friends used to go out dueing valentine's day with or without partners.

For a married person like me, the right time is the always. Maybe there's a right time to confess that you love someone but make sure that your love is genuine when you say it. As for me, I will say it to my husband anytime as much as possible just like... 😜😜 Char! Simply because that's how I feel and I do always miss him too. We might say it as a habit, but we do it with feelings. Growing up, I think I never heard my parents say 'I LOVE YOU' to each other as if it's a shameful thing to say infront of your kids. I don't want that, I want my Lil B to be able to say what she feels about us too.

This one is a tought question. I love watching movies but I don't usually watch love stories. I'll go with RomCom movies instead. White Chicks char!!! HAHAA The only movie that I can think of is the 50 first dates. HUHU. It's just that I can't imagine life with Alzheimers Disease. I cannot bear the thought of losing my special memories all these years. I cannot bear hurting my love ones see me like I don't know them. I know that the movie is too good to be true but I am hoping that there might be someone out there as patient as the leading man could be, go Adam Sandler!
