Kako is 7 Days Old
Yep, it’s time to take off the baby diapers... Kako is one week old today and looking forward to putting on the big boys pants soon.
A lot has happened in those quick seven days, but as with any 7-day-old, I'm just getting started.
First off, I want to thank read.cash for the opportunity and also each and every one of you for the warmth welcome, support and for “raising” me to this day — it couldn't have been possible without you. So thank y'all for that, and also for sticking with me for few cool stuff and the lots of boring I’ve offered you so far and for the other stuffs I've got for you as I head towards a month.
The journey so far... Week 1 wrap
I signed up to read.cash on Monday, January 18, 2021. Prior to that, I already started my introductory article, so within 1 hour, I published my first article which contains need-to-know information about me. From then, my journey commenced and I have been able to publish only one article daily. So I have published a total of 7 articles before this.

My content seems predictable and my insights are recycled. I offer nothing new and my content brings no surprise.
Perhaps that's why people are ignoring me.
My content is selfish, I talk about myself, my experiences, all things revolving around me. I need to do something different, like write an interesting story that's not about me, share intriguing insights into a topic or situation, make people laugh and write about something others can not write about (that's if there is).
The only path left is to lean out of the edge and become interesting, noteworthy and yes, remarkable. A hard nut to crack. I don't see me doing noteworthy or remarkable content as I'm just an amateur writer trying to learn and earn and also help push the bitcoin dream forward.
I joined here primarily for earning. but there should be more to it. I have been offered a community who are ready to read and contribute to my success, I can share my thoughts however they come and they still get some appreciation. At the moment, a few individual visit my post probably because I mentioned then in the content or just to support another newbie. What if I stay longer on the platform (and I'm no longer a newbie) and I don't mention any user in my article will they come around on their own to check out for new posts? No one is going to stick around unless they find my content interesting. Being able to interest my readers is a crucial part of growing here on read.cash.
**It's never too late to stop being boring.**
I have to improve, I have to start being interesting. But am I supposed to do it exactly? How can I be interesting? I have read some content about improving content quality but it’s hard to wrap my mind around their recommendations.
Some of the points I picked from the articles I read
**1. Be wrong and Be right**
People are trying to do the right things and it becomes so common that many of us are bored by it. If one dares to be wrong, such an individual will find lots of people paying attention to him/her.
You can also gain attention by being right … but only if you’re more right than everyone else. Run a mile faster than anyone else, explain your topic more clearly than anyone else, be funnier than everyone else, and people will take notice.
**2. Communicate what others can’t**
Be a writer of things others dare not to write about and you’ll never lose their attention. Hmmm... what are other users on read.cash not writing about? Well, is probably sex and sexuality.
Perhaps I should post images of (half) naked women.
This could get me more attention - ever noticed that some advertisements feature a scantily clad woman? That’s because it works. It draws the attention of not only men (as you’d expect), but also women. For whatever reason, nearly everyone finds their attention drawn to it. But then this will likely get the article removed and me banned, muted it moved to spam. Which is won't then been my boring self getting a couple of readers.
**3. Make people laugh**
I seem far too serious, and forget to entertain. As a result, most of my readership who started with me, end up falling asleep. And what’s the best way to wake people up? Humour. As long as it’s appropriate for your audience, humour can wake your readers up and get them paying attention again. The challenge is that humour has never been my quality. So how do I introduce some humour to my content? it will take practice and I may probably never get it right.
The list of suggestions on how to improve the content to be more interesting goes further, but I will just stick to being me. Of course, I have my readers at heart, so I will work on improving my content as much as I can to make it interesting and worth reading.
I'm boring, but not hopeless. I can be better.

**The first thing I do when I pick up my phone every morning?**
Visit read.cash. Since I joined read.cash and published my first article, I always look forward to seeing how well the post was doing, how many views and likes, and to check if there are comments to reply to. And whenever I log in, I first check my wallet balance, to see if I have been tipped and next is to visit the notification section (if the bell icon is red, which indicates mee notifications) for comments to reply to and new posts from my subscriptions to read. Then I will go to the "My articles" page to see how my posts are performing (number of likes, comments, views, and tip amount on each article).
**My first visit to read.cash**
I was told about the platform by a friend, @Macronald when he was talking to me about joining the Bitcoin cash community and the various ways I could earn BCH, and read.cash according to him is his favorite platform. He sent me links to some articles on read.cash that helped me in my learning process. That was when I first visited read.cash, unfortunately, I can't recall the specific day I visited one of the resource links.
**The first article I read?**
The first article I read on read.cash is A complete user guide to read.cash by @Macronald. it was among the articles I mentioned I sent to me. The article contains links to the various resource on read.cash that will help a new user onboard with ease. I learned all there was about the platform from that single article.

**The first user to tip my post?**
My first tip on the platform come from my first article. A tip of $0.03 from @Eybyoung . and left the second comment *"Nice entrance! Hmmm, I bet you will do good in the platform..."* I was excited when I received the notification, and seen my $0.00 change to $0.2 gave me something to smile about. Then the second tip came from @Laurenceuuu followed by @tired_momma . Thank you guys for making my first day here awesome.
**First time I tipped a post?**
Few hours before writing this article, I gave a tip of $0.1 in BCH on an article and it felt nice to give back a little of that which I have received. I plan to tip more.
**My first tip from the bot?**
Only a few users like @MarcDeMesel can afford to tip higher than the bot, then you have to be very good and lucky to receive tip from Marc and I'm neither. My wish since joining (5 days ago) was not to wait for too long before the bot recognizes me as a worthy tipable user, and my wish was grant earlier than I expected, you can't imagine the excitement. The first tip I received from the bot was on the article 46,927 and since then, the bot has been generous. To achieve my 1BCH goal in 2021 first step is to start earning BCH. Not just earning, I need multiple sources of earning BCH. The journey has started with registering on some platforms that offer the opportunity to earn cryptocurrency especially bitcoin cash.
**read.cash**. Of all the platforms I have joined on my quest to earning bitcoin cash, read.cash is the first and my favorite. I seem to spend more time on this platform more than others. My journey here just started, I don't expect to start earning just yet. What is required at the moment is consistency and perhaps some luck. Luck that the Ransome rewarder bot will start tipping me sooner than much later.
**noise.cash**. I joined noise.cash two days after registering on read.cash but I am yet to post anything. Now it makes me wonder why. I just have a lot going on now, with time, I will try to spread my time across the platforms I have recently joined. I will start making some noise soon.
**publishOx**. I have registered on Publish0x and applied to become an author. now I await a response from the team. I hope it will be a positive one. I saw @MorePVM post on earning more with little effort. It is a good idea which I have to key into to maximize my earning from an article. It's true Publish0X doesn't pay in BCH, the plan is to swap all tokens earning from the platform to bitcoin cash.
**BCHjolly**. Every cent counts. I heard about BCHjolly from @Macronald, I signed up and deposited $1. I have been able to earn some cents. I won't request for withdrawal till I earn above the $1 I invested, that's if the BCHjolly is active long enough. it's a risk I was willing to take with an amount I can afford to lose without breaking a sweat. I will leave it to mine for a month before requesting a withdrawal. hopefully, I will be able to earn more than my capital, then subsequent earnings will be profit.
**Trading**. I have heard about spot trading on Binance, but I'm to get into that. it seems I will need to capital to trade with. I also read about one on bitcoin.com where you swap to a stable token like Tether (USDT) when BCH price pumps and swap back to BCH when the price dips. When I have earned some Bitcoin cash, I will start with the latter, it seems easier than the former, then I will read more on Spot Trading on Binance to understand better.
Buy
I can't buy as much as I would love to but The teaching job here doesn't pay much - My salary is so little that I barely make savings. In Some months, the money was already spent before I even receive my pay. I will try to squeeze out whatever amount I can whenever I can to buy some Bitcoin cash.
Hodl
Hodling is similar to saving. If I earn and spend, I won't be able to achieve my Bitcoin cash goal. So there is a need to hodl about 90% of what I earn. Start hodling now!
The 1-2-3 strategy isn’t just about making 1BCH, it doesn't end there. It’s about having motivating plans to achieving my long-term crypto goal.

My Bitcoin Cash Dream
*Despite being a crypto snob, when I was first introduced to the world of Bitcoin cash and read.cash… I fell in love*.
I fell in love with the thought of using my amateur writing skills to share my thoughts and earn some currency in Bitcoin cash while doing that. I also fell in love with the idea of getting rich with Bitcoin Cash. But the road between loving it, actually writing tip-able content, building a good reputation, and making good amounts of Bitcoin Cash is a long one.
**The Dream**
The dream is to:
Have as much Bitcoin cash as possible and rank among the top hodlers of Bitcoin Cash in Nigeria
See an increase in Bitcoin Cash adoption in Nigeria.
And an increase in the acceptance of Bitcoin cash as a means of payment for goods and services.
How feasible?
**For now, I will concentrate on the first, holding more BCH.**
I currently don’t earn much as a salary, so I may not be able to invest in Bitcoin Cash at the moment but will do that whenever I have the opportunity. So, I will have to earn my BCH from websites that offer such an opportunity. The immediate goal is to have a minimum of 1BCH. I have read a lot of articles revolving around the “Club1BCH”, it’s surely the trending topic on read.cash. The words, passion, and motivation conveyed by the said articles piqued my interest and motivated me to set the goal of joining the club before 2021 runs out.
**How do I plan to achieve this goal?**
At the moment, read.cash and noise.cash are the road to my awesome BCH goal. It won’t be an easy run, but I have to try. I joined read.cash two days ago and noise.cash today. I have been able to earn $0.30 in tips from users. The site’s bot is yet to recognize me, guess I am under probation. I was rightly informed before I joined that it may take weeks or even months for the bot to visit my articles. So, I am not surprised that I am yet to receive any tips from it. For now, I will concentrate on writing and publishing articles consistently, at most one article per day. I think the quality is way better than quantity, and I know you would agree with me.
I hope publishing just one article per day isn’t too small? Is there a better way to improving my chances of earning from the bot sooner than later?
Believe me, when I say, the wait for when I will hear from the bot scares me. I don’t know how long that will take, I wish I have a clue. Anyway, I will just have to post patiently.
I joined noise.cash a few hours before publishing this article, but I have not made any noise yet. I already understood how the platform works, just reading, observing, and subscribing to relevant chambers and some genuine users. Hopefully, immediately after this post, I will go over there to leave a shout-out. From my observation, the earning potential of read.cash is better than that of noise.cash, but then the noise is easier as you don’t need hours on the system or phone typing a long article.
While I earn from these two sites, I will be on the lookout for more ways to earn crypto online. I have heard about trading with crypto. I will look into that soon and hopefully will get to also earn from that.
After all said, to achieve my Bitcoin cash goal, I have to overcome the temptation of changing my Bitcoin cash earnings to fiat probably to take care of financial obligations. I can do that, but it has to be the last resort. I have to hodl most if not all of whatever I will earn. Hodling is key.
I’m open to genuine earning ideas and suggestions on how to go about my Bitcoin goal, and my use of read.cash and noise.cash.

46927 is my user number. I'm the 46,927th user to join the platform. I guess you never took note of your number. I did, and yes I'm that jobless and bored at that moment, that I took note of something so insignificant. But why do I have the feeling you wish you did take note of yours? You don't need to answer that.
**Not so fun info about**
My boredom didn't get any better, I had to google the number 46927, and as usual, Google didn't disappoint, as it will almost always have something to show.
The only thing related to the number are working tools like the "*46927 Pinch-Off Pliers Set*", "*Nemco 46927 LEG ADJUSTABLE 3/8-16 replacement par*t" and *"46927 Pinch-Off Pliers Set"*. There would probably be more, but there are no other stuffs interesting about the number than my user number 😁
Lemme bore you no further. I dedicated this article to my interest in thinking note of things so trivial and my star of boredom. Well, it gave me something to blab about and have you waste your precious minutes reading something that have added no value to you.
