Mentions, comments sorting, highlighting
Mentions You can finally mention people in your articles, comments, forum posts. So, if I type **@btcfork** - that should potentially trigger a notification to @btcfork. (You don't need to make it bold or something) The same thing works in comments and forums - just type @username and that user will be pinged. Funny thing is that if somebody ever uses 'username' as his username - he might eventually get a notification about this article :) Unread comments count Yes, finally, you can see how many new comments are there for an article that you have previously visited.
Highlighting new comments When you visit an article that you have previously visited - new comments would be highlighted now, which is very useful. Don't like it? Hit refresh :) Or annoy us in the forum to add a preference to turn this off. https://read.cash/forum/readcash
Sorting comments Yep, you can now sort the comments - using default threaded view...
...or a flat view using "newest on top" or "most upvoted on top".
Subscribe to all comments You can now subscribe to get updates whenever a new comment activity is there in the article. You'll actually get only one notification about the activity and you won't get another one unless you actually visit the article again (to prevent you from avalanche of notifications on popular articles). And to spare our database, which has to remember all these. Just click the blue bell icon.
Search your comments and articles You can now search only your comments or articles:
Forum updates We've also added the same bell icons to the forums, so you can subscribe to get notifications about new posts, replies and threads.

awesome additions!!! Very useful things, thanks you! I didn't even use the search up until now and this brings me to a question. Is there a place where I can see all my comments? Another feature suggestion (it's probably on the list but anyhow): It would be cool to be able to filter the notification list by type (new article, comment reply, upvote and so on)

because a lot of times interesting stuff I want to potentially react to (comment replies) gets drowned in upvote Infos and new article notifications

alternatively a visual clue could be provided on comment notifications, maybe even only those I haven't replied to yet. another helpful feature would the ability to Mark notifications as read and only show unread ones. that way one could use it as a sort of inbox.
Wait, but there is a clue about unread notifications: https://i.imgur.com/t3yRh8N.png As soon as you open Notifications - these all are marked as read, so I typically just open all these in a new window to respond. Basically, there's no way to "read" a notification, since it's just a blob of text :) Maybe you need something like "flags" in Outlook/"stars" in Gmail clients to mark it? The unread notifications are always shown on top of read ones.

However, this doesn't work well if you don't use a separate tab and if you access read.cash from different devices and only for short bursts of time. Don't put too much energy into this... it's workable.

Thank you! Yes, it was necessary, but as usual - you just don't have time to do everything at once :) So many ideas, so little time.
Wow a lot of new things have been added since the last time I made a post here. A lot of fun things going on here. I'll have to try to stick around more to stay up to date. 👀
If this keeps growing like this read.cash will be bigger than medium before it's aniversary, as always, great job
