Tools to Start well as a Freelancer
You want to do freelancing and you have not yet started?
One of the advantages of the freelancer who offers his services online is that he can work from home, quietly at his own pace by arranging his working time as he sees fit. The key is to do quality work and to deliver it on time. If you are good in what you can offer and that you respect these rules: **Quality/Punctuality**, there is no reason why you can't evolve in this environment. The long-term goal would be to try to become completely financially independent. You will have to work hard and be patient: "Rome wasn't built in a day". (Yep, a proverb! :0) ). But if you really want it, you will get there!
A first advice: **stay professional!**
**Freelancer vs. Fiverr**
There are different sites where you can create a profile and propose your services. The most relevant in my humble opinion are **Freelancer.com** and **Fiverr.com**. On both sites you can create a profile for free to offer your services. You will see that these sites really cover all the needs. Despite their different approach. **Freelancer** offers jobs that you can apply for, whereas on **Fiverr** you can offer your services. They are complementary, I think. Starting with these two would be a good start. Fill out your profile thoroughly and completely, in a simple but professional manner. A few sentences that correctly describe what you can offer is enough. https://www.freelancer.com https://www.fiverr.com
Some music for the atmosphere, while reading.
**The Cranberries - Dreams**
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yam5uK6e-bQ
**On the cryptocurrency side**, you have for example a site like **FreelanceForCoins** which allows you to offer your services while being paid in cryptocurrencies. I myself have done an assignment or two in 2020 where I was paid in **Bitcoin Cash**. From memory I have done the correction of the **French** and **Spanish** version of this video below, as well as the entire **Italian** translation (my wife did the Italian one). The project was initiated here on **ReadCash** (on another profile), where I first did some small translations for different things, then I went to **FreelanceForCoins** for the work on this video. The site seems to be a little bit in pause today, maybe it should help to relaunch the dynamics. https://freelanceforcoins.com/
**BitcoinCash Register App**
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjChgfXwkjU
**Twitter via Tweetdeck**
Another great tool I use is **Twitter**. Coupled with the **Tweetdeck** application which is really useful because you can save real-time searches on keywords. And therefore track supply and demand offers in real time. It's about being kind of on alert all the time so you can take advantage of any opportunities that might come up. Here is an example of a search on a few keywords, or a combination of keywords. **Twitter** can also be used to promote the services you can offer. Frankly it is one of the best tools for this, if not the best.
Don't hesitate to explore this avenue! A "*Hi, maybe I can help you, what do you need?*" in response to someone who is looking for someone might work well. Be polite and helpful.
A second advice: **be persistent**! Because "Hard work always pays off"! :0) https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/hard-work-always-pays-off-0b0ff5b5
Get organized and work methodically. Deliver quality work, within the time limit. There is no reason why you can't start living this way. Freelancing is truly a rewarding lifestyle. The only boss is you, ultimately.
Get to work!
When I'm not necessarily writing about **music**, I try to write articles that might be helpful. Quite honestly I've started making money with my music a little more seriously in the last year. I mean, if I could have read the right article at the right time, I would have saved a lot of time! Truly! I hope you find this article useful!
I hope you all having a great week! :0)
Thanks so much to read and support me!

Don't you think it is totally unfair to punish all Russians for a decision taken by their government? How are the Russian people responsible? Is cutting them off from everything, isolating them from the world like pariahs, etc. going to prevent anything?
Seriously!

The things we have to do.
The things we have to do.
A little blog to emphasize the importance of planning things and setting goals. It's a good way to move forward efficiently. I've always been a bit of a mess, I must admit. Now I try to be much more structured and thoughtful about what I want to accomplish.
This week's goal is to finish the tracks "**Going Home**" and "**Do You Feel It**". When I say finish, I really mean present them in their final versions, mixed and mastered. One of the two tracks will be launched on all the streaming platforms as a single to start the momentum of the upcoming album: "**Electronic Patterns**". As a reminder, the release date is scheduled for late March or mid April 2022. **It's on the right track!** https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/going-home-2022-preview-mix https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/do-you-feel-it-2022-preview-mix https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/sets/electronic-patterns
These are tracks that are really good to listen to, mainstream, we'd say. I also plan to mix alternative versions for my licensing library. Both tracks have potential, even in the corporate niche. At least that's what it seems to me. So I'm going to test this opportunity.
I think I'm moving towards a more minimalist side, very few tracks (channels on mixer) to emphasize an idea. There is still work to be done on the track "**Time Reflection**", but a solid base is already recorded. I share again the track with you.
https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/time-reflection-preview-10-03-2022
Ok! The things we have to do... I use an app to take notes. Locally, on my machine. Not on the web. For privacy and security reasons. This application has become essential. I can take notes on everything and nothing at the same time, but especially on "**To do!**" lists. Everyday. As I tend to forget a lot of things very quickly, because my brain works too much (haha ha), and zaps from one thing to another, I can also set different "reminders". That's handy! I don't do it that often for these alerts, but it can be very helpful. I've been using this app for about 3 or 4 years now, it's part of the daily process. I won't give you the name of this application because there are many depending on your needs. It's up to you to choose one that suits you. Let's say it's a kind of data base of note trees that you can rearrange at will with a simple drag and drop.
So. Don't hesitate to take notes and centralize them, to update them regularly, on all the subjects that interest you, you'll be amazed at the usefulness of all this mess afterwards. Whether it is for your work, your ideas, or even for more fun things: a playlist to discover, articles to read, etc..
**Space Station X** (a Demo from 2020). Probably for "**Missing Time**" future Album. And "**Electron Rock** Groove Compilation".
https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/space-station-x
Coming back to the tracks I'll be working on this week, **Luminescence** for example, is ready to be mastered. Final phase of the process. Both versions are ok for mastering (including the 432hz). **Electro Waves** is also mixable, and therefore finalizable. This experiment was recorded a bit like a modular synthesizer jam will remain as is. A good mix should do the trick! Rendez-vous on Monday! https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/luminescence-432hz https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/electro-waves-modular-experimental-alternate-mix
@Unity had fun writing lyrics "**I will March Forward**" and performing it on one of my musical compositions: "**Electron**". You can discover this challenge on his blog. It's an interesting experience and I think it was done with the means at hand. I didn't ask him the question about how he proceeded on the technical side. I will do it. https://read.cash/@Unity/i-will-march-forward-my-song-f7bdd437 https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/electron
I must admit that I haven't had the time yet, yesterday I was busy rehearsing with my rock band **Alchemic Journey**. We work many hours when we meet, at least once a week. And I come home drained of all energy.
In any case I am very honored by this initiative. Thanks to him! Well done, man! :0) So.. Don't hesitate to go to to listen to this song with Indian Bengali vibes on the voice intonation. https://read.cash/@Unity/i-will-march-forward-my-song-f7bdd437
Reminder.. I have to write the following part of this article: **You would love to start recording some music**? https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/you-would-love-to-start-recording-some-music-b9e89086
I wish you all a fantastic week! :0)

[Sunday Music] Let's Rock!
Hello Friends,
Here we are for a new **Sunday Music**! A rock'n roll one!
**Late 60's early 70's**. Bands will change the history of Rock 'n Roll! The emergence of a harder rock. Much harder, even. The beginnings of a "**Hard Rock**". It remains Rock'n Roll for my part. Simply Rock 'n Roll.
Let's start with a track from **Led Zeppelin**'s first eponymous album. The title **Dazed And Confused,** here played on stage with a large part of improvisation. For those who know the original version of the track, you will notice that the band takes us here to other horizons with long parts totally improvised. Many parts. The use of the bow is a master stroke. They clearly have fun to make us travel so much their professionalism is at the paroxysm of their talent. The guitar and the voice juggle on questions answers or on duets of rales. The drums and the bass remain unperturbed in the groove during the long solos of Jimi Page, very inspired. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Led_Zeppelin
**Dazed And Confused**
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQgYn23Xvck
**Dazed and Confuse**d was not originally written by **Led Zeppelin**, but by the American singer-songwriter **Jake Holmes** on his first Album. It was rearranged in the **Jimmy Page** style, first with the **Yardbirds** and then finally with **Led Zeppelin**. Their first album simply titled **Led Zeppelin** was released on January 12, 1969 on **Atlantic Records**. It is now an integral part of the history of Rock'n Roll and music.
Another band that worked to democratize a Rock 'n Roll a little harder is obviously **Black Sabbath**. Just like Led Zeppelin, no need I think, to present this electric quartet now mythical! A few weeks ago I shared an Ozzy song here from his solo career, but **Ozzy Osbourne** started singing with **Black Sabbath** in 1968. Formed in Birmingham (UK), Black Sabbath is composed by **Tony Iommi**, the guitarist, **Ozzy Osbourne**, the singer, **Bill Ward** on drums, and **Geezer Buttler** on bass. Based on the principle of making music that would "scare", Black Sabbath is one of the pillars that contributed to the evolution of the rock sound. Incisive, repetitive riffs, supported by a good bass/drums groove, and Ozzy's voice recognizable between thousand at the first sentence. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Sabbath https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/sunday-music-songs-for-a-sunday-29a68a5a
**War Pigs** is the opening song from the band's second studio album called: **Paranoid** (1970).
**War Pigs** Live in **Paris** at **the Olympia** in 1970.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3b6SGoN6dA
And finally to contrast a bit, and end on something cooler. Soaring. The privately filmed concert by **Pink Floyd** in **Pompeii** in 1972. The complete performance! We will certainly come back to Pink Floyd in the coming weeks.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwgirj9ECFA
Hope you will enjoy this **Sunday Music**!
We'll see you next Sunday for an electronic Sunday Music this time. No idea what will be on the program, though.
Wishing you all a peaceful Sunday! Thank you for your great support! :0)
With Love.

Memories From Childhood: Music First Steps!
This article is a follow-up to "**Memories from childhood**" which explains why I wanted to make music. The events that triggered this desire. You can take the time to read it first before going any further, but it's not required. https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/memories-from-childhood-576e0e61
I joined my city's municipal music school in the late 70s. Probably in 1976, I don't remember exactly (How old are you in CE2?! Maybe it was even CE1). The first two years were dedicated to the learning of Solfeggio which is the basis of the language of music. Music theory: time, rhythm, harmony, scales, etc.. With exercises to work on at home with rhythmic reading and singing with a score, all accompanied by the beating of the bar with the right hand and with the help of a metronome with a previously fixed speed. There was also an introduction to the flute. This allowed to tame this instrument while waiting for better. After these two years of "hard" learning, we could finally choose an instrument and start learning to play it. The serious stuff could begin.
Once back in class for a few hours, once a week, we could be quizzed at any time on these exercises to work on at home. It was very serious. Our teacher, **Mr. Bernard Noyer**, was a very good teacher, but was also very strict about homework and classroom discipline. Looking back, every time I think of him, I thank him a thousand times over for sharing his passion for music with us. He was really passionate about it. For the anecdote, it is a person who for a psychological cause found himself from one day to the next completely paralyzed of the legs. In the hospital during his rehabilitation, he learned to play the solfeggio and the accordion. In autodicdate! One day he finally recovered the use of his legs and decided to become a music teacher: theory and accordion. I guess music played a major role in his total recovery. :0)
**Miles Davis & John Coltrane** - **So What** - **Live in Stockholm in 1960**. One of my favorite piece of jazz live.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Amyp4v-I84
I would have liked to **play the piano** as I explained **here**, but I had to decide to choose another instrument. Knowing that I had to choose an instrument that the music school had a teacher. I think it was my father who suggested I choose the saxophone. "*It's an instrument with a beautiful sound*", he said. For the piano it was complicated. A piano at home, the space, the price, etc.. He finally convinced me, not without some reluctance. So I chose the saxophone. **The alto saxophone**! My parents sacrificed to buy me a brand new **Selmer Mark VII alto saxophone** at the local music store. I think they had to spread the payments over a whole year. They had faith in me. Thank you so much! :0) https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/memories-from-childhood-576e0e61
Learning the saxophone was not that easy. It is a demanding instrument, both in terms of breath and technically in terms of fingers depending on the scales used. But I quickly started to get the hang of it. At the same time I continued my solfeggio lessons in order to progress even further in the theory, until I reached a conservatory level later on. I also have good memories of camaraderie with other musicians from the music school. We would also get together to play, start improvising. At the end of the first year, we were asked to join a band that played mostly standards by **Glen Miller**, **George Gershwin**, etc., called "**Le petit orchestre**".
On Friday evenings, 25 or 30 musicians would get together to work on a repertoire, always under the direction of **Mr. Noyer**. It started to become really interesting to play music. Several concerts were planned during the year. Meals in the restaurant included, the trips in the bus where we made the clowns to the end. What a bunch of kids! I also quickly joined the municipal band, where we played marches and hymns during local or regional commemorations. All this was a great learning experience too. We had a nice dark blue uniform with a cap and sometimes we had to play while walking. A lot of fun here again with the musician friends! :0)
One evening during a concert with "the small orchestra" the regional television FR3 came to film us during the interpretation of **Rhapsody In Blue** of **George Gershwin**. A beautiful event where it was necessary to remain serious and to give the best of oneself. Maybe even this film archive still exists on the INA website. It is very likely. I'll have to look for it. :0)
**George Gershwin** - **Rhapsody In Blue** by the **Royal Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra**.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-MJZJjJs4A
In the meantime, we played a lot of duets with Jean Baptiste, who played the trumpet. We started to improvise, to create. We listened to a lot of jazz: **Glen Miller Orchestra**, **Miles Davis**, **John Coltrane**, **Dizzy Gillespie**, etc. We participated in parties with local organizations where we played jazz standards rearranged in our own way. And we were successful! It was fascinating to be able to get off the beaten track of sheet music and play freely. It was a very important turning point! This freedom. All these moments were a very good school.
And then.. one day there was the time of the mopeds at 14, the girls too. And the saxophone started to stay well stored in its case. Until..
**To continue.. How I start to play guitar at the end of 80s!**

[Sunday Music] One Love!
Welcome to the **Sunday Music**!
*One love, One heart . Let's get together and feel all right.*
We're going to start this Sunday with good vibes coming straight from Jamaica. Some cool music! And if we evoke **Jamaica** and **Reggae**, there is a name which is essential: it's **Bob Marley**, **The King of Reggae**! Born on February 6, 1945 in Nine Miles, Jamaica, his musical career began in 1962. **The Wailers** were formed very quickly and the group met with success in Jamaica in 1964. They start recording some really good Albums: **Catch A Fire**, **Burnin'**, etc.. before becoming **Bob Marley** (& The Wailers) at the end of 1973. This is a key period because when the album **Natty Dread** is released in 1974 with the song **I Shot the Sheriff**, **Eric Clapton** made a cover of the song and opened the doors to the world wide success to Bob Marley and his Reggae vibrations! And what a great artist! Look at him playing live on stage, it's a celebration! Celebration of life. He's living his music at 200%. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Marley https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/sunday-music-imagine-76a27ec6
Then came the albums **Rastaman Vibration**, which definitely made him a world star. **Survival**, in which he evokes his assassination attempt in December 1976 through the song "**Ambush In The Night**". Bob narrowly escaped with only a bullet lodged in his arm. He then left Jamaica for London and produced the great Album **Exodus** in 1977, from which is extracted the title that I share with you today **One Love / People Get Ready**.
**One Love**!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdB-8eLEW8g
**Bob Marley** has always been a very politically committed person, an eternal defender of the oppressed, he has also always preached peace, love and unity through his songs. **Uprising**, released in 1980 is his last Album at the apogee of his career. **Could You Be Loved**, **Redemption Song**, etc.. He was diagnosed with cancer in 1977 and died in May 11, 1981. His music will be still here!
We could choose dozens of songs about this Reggae Music pioneer, but to extend this Sunday musical moment, we can't leave without sharing Bob Marley playing and singing on stage. **Here, Live in Santa Barbara in 1979**.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgIM8yaF6es
..
**Eric Clapton** playing the Bob Marly song **I Shot The Sheriff** at the Crossroads Festival 2010!
**The Crossroads Guitar Festival** is a music festival created in 1999 by Eric Clapton. This is a benefit concert to finance the **Crossroads Centre**, a drug addiction center in Antigua, founded by Eric Clapton in 1998.

The reflection of time
Hey friends, hope you are all well! :0)
I haven't had much time these past few days to blog. I'm setting goals for myself musically. Let's face it. If you start spending every 15 minutes on the internet, you're not doing much of anything. I've done a tremendous amount of work in this past week. Whether it's working on my upcoming album with **Solar Phasing**, but also on a lot of things I had to do with soundtracks and other sound effects I produce for the video game industry, documentaries, and other multimedia projects. I have officially released 5 new tracks in my **Songtradr** library. I still have many more to prepare and upload next week. And finally, the work with my rock band **Alchemic Journey** as the concert season is about to start. Many phone calls and emails for canvassing. Two dates officially planned, and 5 or 6 where it is already ok, but the planning is not defined yet. We will have the dates in the coming weeks. The season looks to be musically rich! https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/spreading-the-word-of-your-art-d86f7653 https://www.facebook.com/AlchemicJourneyOfficial/posts/352552546882628
The biggest work of the week has been the development of the basic idea of the song "**Time Reflection**" which now has 4 well structured parts. I'm happy with the way things are going. There is still some work to do but the hard work is done. The melodies will come naturally. If necessary. To the question: "*is it necessary to have a drum part on pieces like this one?*". It's a good question, and it bothers me I confess. But I think not. My wife definitely says "no!". Some songs are fine without it. And this is one of them. I'll see. I have time! Announced for late March, mid April 2022, **Electronic Patterns** is on track! https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/time-reflection-preview-10-03-2022 https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/sets/electronic-patterns
**Time Reflection** in a very advanced version.
https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/time-reflection-preview-10-03-2022
There are some track names that I think are not yet finalized. There are two tracks that have the word "Time" in them. I'd rather not. They are "**Time Reflection**" and "**Time Travelers**" which I will probably unveil next week and which really has a **Jean Michel Jarre** touch.
Here, below, a picture of the official work in progress playlist of the tracks on **Soundcloud**, there are still some missing that I should reveal soon (3 or 4). They are not yet in the final order for the Album because this detail is constantly changing. Just to see what would be the best choice. https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/sets/electronic-patterns
I also published a version of **Luminescence** tuned on 432hz. But what is 432hz?
Google say: "*Music tuned to 432 Hz is softer and brighter, and is said to* ***provide greater clarity and is easier on the ears****. Meditation music tuned to 432 Hz is relaxing for the body and mind and also more harmonic and pleasant than 440 Hz which is the frequency that most of the modern day music we listen to is tuned at".* [..] *"The 432 frequency music* ***heightens perception, increases the mental clarity of a person and unlocks intuition****. Generally, this solfeggio frequency has been proven to be a healing frequency since it reduces anxiety, lowers the heart rate, and blood pressure.*".
I am very interested in these concepts, whether it is **432hz** or **binaural** music. Music and the brain have a special relationship. We come back to the magic powers that music would possess? Able to relax and even heal. Scientific studies that go in this direction are beginning to appear. It's very interesting! And.. Fascinating! For the most curious of you, I refer you to a work that took me about a year: the album "**On The Edge of The Galaxy**". And which is a first approach on the work of harmonies and textures able to act on the brain waves. The result is a whole album that I think is capable of altering your state of mind positively. Try it! :0) https://solarphasing.bandcamp.com/album/on-the-edge-of-the-galaxy

[Sunday Music] Imagine..
Welcome to the **Sunday Music**!
*Imagine a word at peace..*
In these troubled times, it seemed appropriate to me to propose a song that is in a way a hymn to peace. **John Lennon** with the help of **Yoko Ono** wrote this song inspired by the hope of seeing one day a world at peace. For those who know a little about his career with the Beatles and after, alone or with Yoko, **he had already sent a strong message about peace** with the song: "**Give Peace A Chance**". "**Imagine**" was released in the United States on October 11, 1971 while the country was at war with Vietnam. The song is inspired by some of Yoko Ono's poems and evokes a world without religion, without war and without borders, with humanity as the only nationality. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Lennon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3_0GqPvr4U
For the record, John Lennon founded **The Beatles** in 1957, the famous British musical quartet from Liverpool, England. The Beatles are composed of **John Lennon**, **Paul McCartney**, **George Harrison** and **Ringo Starr**. They revolutionized the history of music in the late 1960s, and wrote some of the most beautiful songs to this day. I think everyone has heard about the Beatles, and is familiar with some of their songs. John Lennon's Imagine has also been around the world. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Beatles
**Imagine** by **John Lennon & The Plastic Ono Band**
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOgFZfRVaww
As bonus..
Here the Fab 4 (The Beatles) performed "**Don't Let Me Down**" in their last public performance on the roof of their Apple Corps headquarters on January 30, 1969. The Beatles broke up the following year. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Beatles%27_rooftop_concert
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCtzkaL2t_Y
Another legend of the English rock, of the blues also mainly, **Eric Clapton**. Eric, who had strong links with The Beatles and particularly with **George Harrison**. Eric Clapton plays here live his song "**Wonderful Tonight**", a beautiful ballad and love song. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Clapton
Clapton played for a while with the **Yardbirds** in 1963 before leaving to play with **John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers** in 1965. But it is probably in 1966 with the band **Cream** that Eric Clapton begins to really write the history of his legend. Cream is only a pretext for long improvisations on stage mixing blues and psychedelic rock. At the time it is even possible to see written on the walls of London: "*Clapton is God!*", so much his guitar play marks a whole generation. **Jimi Hendrix** will somehow dethrone him, but that's another story. Eric will then form **Blind Faith** with **Steve Winwood** in 1968, for the time of an album and a tour before definitively heading towards a solo career, which will also reveal itself very rich. And always current, his last album "**The Lady in the Balcony: Lockdown Sessions**" was released on November 12, 2021.
For the anecdote, Eric Clapton contributed to the world discovery of **Bob Marley** since he covered one of his songs which became a hit very quickly: "*I shot the Sheriff*".

Ukraine: fire in the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, in Zaporijjia!
The largest nuclear power plant in Europe in fire touched by a Russian attack!

What awaits us tomorrow?
We are going through difficult times. First the Covid pandemic and now the war at the gates of Europe. And tomorrow? The end of the world? Are we facing a risk of escalation towards the unthinkable? What awaits us tomorrow? As if, wars are everywhere in the world, and have never stopped, but when it's here in Europe (or at least at the edge), it's the end of the world! They tend to present it like that.
The tense atmosphere of the moment brings back the scenario of a potential **nuclear winter**. And in the madness of men the end of humanity, even! The **nuclear winter** is a climatic phenomenon that could occur after nuclear bombings. As the sun no longer shows its face, the temperature drops. The dust clouds created by the particles expelled during the explosions could remain like this for years. Life on earth would be disrupted. If there is any left. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_winter
A track of mine called: **Syncopated Machines In A Nuclear Winter**. A kind of Avant-Garde experiment on a science fiction subject. A post apocalyptic dialogue between **Machines**.
https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/syncopated-machines-in-a-nuclear-winter
About rumors.. false. I'll take a simple yet very telling example. During a conversation at home with my family a few days ago, I asked a question:
**In France, during an identity check in the street, are you obliged to present an identity card to the authorities?** (The law requires you to do this, understand the question).
They all said: **Yes**!
But the answer is: **No**!
Most of people think that is: **Yes**!
The false rumors that are spread. Nobody checks? I checked, the answer is: NO!
I see people every day taking sides and defending subjects or causes they know absolutely nothing about. They know absolutely nothing about the history of events. They know absolutely nothing about the subject. And they're out there explaining to you that this is the way it is.. and nothing else. Ok! If you want your arguments to be solid, back them up. Research and learn about it. Otherwise there is no point in debating. All this reminds me that in the past there was a debate. Two opposing sides could discuss it. We could debate! Today, if you go against the official discourse, you are part of the conspiracy mire. But what the hell? Wake up!
More today than ever: "***Think for yourself! Because otherwise others will do it for you!***". Beware of the news channels and their version that would be the only and authentic truth. They love to amplify situations and make them look good. They love to make audience. They love to fear you! And.. very often they misinform, voluntarily.. or not. The pandemic was very revealing in this respect.
Now imagine a country where all the national news channels tell the same version that is biased or even false. Pure lies. What is going on? You will adhere and believe this lie. You'll just believe it. You will believe the lies they are telling. But is it possible?
Not everything is white, not everything is black. In these troubled times, I think that many heads of state and other politicians, or even influential people, should be careful, both in their words and in some of their actions. It is necessary to keep restraint, and not to throw oil on the fire. We should prefer diplomacy and dialogue towards peace. Rather than threats. Because towards this demonstration of who has the biggest, the consequences of a nuclear war on the planet would be devastating. I dare to hope that this scenario is in the realm of science fiction. But in reality, the risk seems real. We are in 2022! Humanity should evolve. **Nothing justifies war!**
And yet.
Now imagine a cyber war that would bring down the internet and networks, or that would bring them to a halt. What about cryptocurrencies? And Bitcoin Cash! No internet networks, no cryptocurrencies! Is there an alternative? Good question. Are people already thinking about this possibility? Good question!
The line between science fiction and reality sometimes seems narrow.
**So.. what awaits us tomorrow?**
Anyway! I'll be back tomorrow to present you a nice evolution on the work in progress of my latest Album: **Electronic Patterns**. The track is called "**Time Reflection**", and has gone from a very basic 3 minute demo to a track with many evolution probably lasting about 10 minutes. I didn't have the time to export a mix of this brand new version. For today, I leave you with the original idea, a very minimalist basic idea. See you tomorrow for the updated version. :0)

Spreading The Word of your Art!
As an artist we have a lot of work to do besides composing, recording, and mixing the music. You also have to work very hard and consistently on promotion, marketing and all the other business aspects. It's not enough to say, I'll upload some tracks on Youtube, and that's it.. success will come to me! Alas, no! I said it in one of my previous blogs, "**only hard work pays off****"**! https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/hard-work-always-pays-off-0b0ff5b5
If you are a musician and want to start sowing your artistic seeds on the huge spider that is the World Wide Web, I'll try to give you some keys and a few avenues to explore to start with a solid foundation. Note that these tips would be just as valid for other art forms: painting, digital art, photography, etc.. The principle is the same with a few exceptions. Note that these are just my tips and are in no way "gospel words". I share with you my modest experience in this universe.
The two main places where you should upload your music are **Soundcloud** and **Youtube**. These two are almost indispensable today. It will be a strong point to publish your music there. It goes without saying that you should have created your musical identity, an artist name, and even a visual universe. Once your music is online you will have to share it on social networks, etc.. to promote it and attract potential music lovers. We will come back to this point later in an upcoming article. https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing
**Soundcloud**
https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/space-station-x
In order to publish your albums or singles on **streaming platforms** you need to use an **aggregator**. This is a service that will publish your music on **Spotify**, **Apple Music**, **Amazon Music**, **Google Music**, **Deezer**, **BeatPort**, and many others. In this regard, I can only strongly recommend **Songtradr**. With **Songtradr**, for the price of $4.99 per month, you have a **Pro Account** that gives you many tools and advantages to monetize your music. With the possibility to send your music in an unlimited way on all streaming platforms: Singles, Albums, or even Compilations. If you release 2 or 3 times a year, the service is already charged yearly (remember: $4.99/month) much cheaper than anywhere else. Of course, **Songtradr** pays you the royalties generated by the streaming of your music every month without taking any share on it. Once you have more than $10 you can cashout at any moment and have the money in 2 or 3 days. Sending your tracks there need to be methodic by completing the right information and tags to be discovered by anyone. I recommend Wav format. You can upload different versions of a song. Once this part done, you can start with a solid base in the monetization music system. https://www.songtradr.com
**Youtube**
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrQx5oP9grc
But **Songtradr** also offers other very interesting services that will also allow you to earn money for your music. For example, all your tracks in your Songtradr library that are also in videos on **Youtube** will be able to be linked to your Songtradr account that will then manage your rights for you and get your royalties back every month. Same thing for **Twitch** and **Tik Tok**. But the best opportunity is the licenses you could sell. For licensing there are various opportunities like **Network TV** making your music available for various TV shows and TV promo. Or the **Stock Music and Youtube Licensing Resellers**. You will probably even be surprised to see that you make money this way because content creators use your music in their videos, etc. And this aspect is not negligible financially. You'll also have access to **Business Overhead Radio** which allows restaurants, cafes, gyms, hotels, airplanes and other commercial environments to play your music. Not to mention, licenses for **Apps, Games and Platforms**. And finally, the **Big Sync Musi**c. Songtradr manages all this for you. You just have to validate optin for each of your tracks. Your music is also available for music compilations release. On all these services 20% of your revenue will be retained by Songtradr. That's fair!
The only thing you have to check regularly are the producer offers that are published regularly for various projects. One of the best service offered! You can submit up to 5 leads per project by being Pro. Great opportunities and the possibility to enter one day by the big door in the world of big productions: Movies, Series or Documentaries. Everything is possible! Upload all the music you have. Do not hesitate.
**You now have entered the world of monetization of your music.** Work hard and believe in yourself. Be patient. Keep at it. Your efforts will eventually be rewarded.
We will see in the next articles how to go further, royalty free sites, blockchain, NFT, promotion, etc..

[Sunday Music] Songs for a Sunday!
**Sunday Music is back!**
We start this **Sunday Music** with a guitarist that I appreciate a lot, **Gary Moore** and his famous ballad **Parisian Walkways**. A very melodic guitarist with a rare intensity of playing. Gary also played with **Phil Lynott**'s band: **Thin Lizzy**. He will then (re)concentrate on a nice solo rock career, even hard rock, to then return to his first love, the blues. Gary Moore passed away on February 6, 2011 after suffering a heart attack while sleeping in Barcelona, Spain. This live version of **Parisienne Walkway** will not leave you indifferent. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Moore https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Lynott https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thin_Lizzy
Enjoy!
https://youtu.be/vkUpfw4Hf3w
Let's continue this Sunday in music with an English rock band that played in concert for free in front of the Berlin Wall in the 80's, with more than 175 000 people listening: **Barclay James Harvest**. We can classify their music in the Progressive Rock of the late 70's. The good majority of their compositions being very soaring titles. The title is called: **Poor Man's Moody Blues,** and is played live too. The live versions really allow to realize the quality of a band. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barclay_James_Harvest
https://youtu.be/5F8ekYH54rk
Something more dynamic and catchy to have a balance. We don't need to introduce **Ozzy Osbourne**, the **Black Sabbath** singer who once decapitated a bat thrown on stage by a fan. He had to be vaccinated against rabies. The event had created controversy, the singer thought he was dealing with a plastic bat, an imitation. Anyway, here Ozzy recovers from his ejection from Black Sabbath for drug abuse and enlists the virtuoso guitarist **Randy Rhoads** (died in tragic circumstances very shortly after) to release the great Album: **Blizzard Of Ozz**! The first title of the Album played live in 1981: **I Don't Know**. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ozzy_Osbourne https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Sabbath https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randy_Rhoads https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blizzard_of_Ozz

Folks, we'll see you next Sunday for a new series of discovery or rediscovery. I hope you enjoy these moments in music. For my part, it is with great pleasure that I go in search of music, by feeling, when writing the blog. Nothing is planned in advance.
I wish you a peaceful Sunday. :0)

Hard work always pays off!
Hello Friends! :0 )
I announced yesterday that I was going to share a track from my upcoming album "**Electronic Patterns**" today. I did, but not the one announced yesterday, which is not quite finalized as I intend. I will share with you "**Welcome To The Core**" in its final version this time, as soon as possible. Instead, a little surprise, a brand new track named: ''**Do You Feel It?**". Finally, the tidying up is good, since I found this idea in my archives. Once reloaded in my recording software, as it inspired me immediately I started to work ont it. I spent a good part of the night and all the morning of this Friday. And here it is, almost finished! In preview! Let me know if you like it?! I like it! :0) https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/sets/electronic-patterns https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/welcome-to-the-core-preview https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/do-you-feel-it-2022-preview-mix https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/the-big-cleanup-a6e114e1
**Do You Feel It**
https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/do-you-feel-it-2022-preview-mix
**I like it?**
Yep, I like it! What a groovy "easy listening" cool track. Very inspiring I think. :0) Simple things are not so easy to do.
I'm really progressing towards the finalization of this Album.. long awaited! Since the summer 2020. I can already tell you that it will have 12 to 15 tracks. I really hope to offer you something very good. If **Electronic Pattern**s is definitely Berlin School experimental music oriented, it will also include some more "mainstream" tracks like this last one: "**Do You Feel It**", but also "**Going Home**". And perhaps one more. Well, some surprise too! Some of you here on **ReadCash** have already paid money to pre-order it, I will quote you when the time comes. For those who would be tempted: see below at the end of the article if you want to support me pre-ordering this Album: "**Electronic Patterns**"! You will get it as a bonus, on a cloud for life. With all my previous discography as a gift. **Electronic Patterns** is expected to be released in late March, mid April 2022. Thank you so much for your patience! And for your great support, of course! :0) https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/going-home-2022-preview-mix
People must know that to publish an Album it is tens, I say, hundreds of hours of work. If you like artists, think of supporting them! Buy their music. Share the tracks. Comment when you can. And mainly, enjoy their art! They create it for you!:0)
I haven't publicly shared the sample below yet, so you have it as a preview. It's a brand new idea, also fresh from this morning: "**Dancing Days**". Despite the electronic sound, it really sounds like a **Celtic riff**. I think I can develop something very nice from this basic idea. :0)
https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/dancing-days-demo-preview/s-pODGBJKpiK2?utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing
On this project I'm using some really great synths, some hardware and some software. Korg Volca's, ARP 2600, some Moog, and many other legends of electronic music. Analog, modular, or both. These synthesizers have an infinite richness, a wonderful palette of colors. Yes, I fell in love with these old machines. They are very inspiring instruments. This year I will save up to buy a clone of the famous ARP 2600, probably from Behringer. I've read articles and seen videos about it, it's a solid replica of the original at a really affordable price. Approximately 500 euros. I dream about it! Haha ha.
I hope to share you more new music stuff during this weekend. Maybe finalized tracks. Ready to mastering! Who knows.. It's well on its way. I do want to get some vinyl pressed one day. Depending on the success of this album, I'll think about it.
I hope to have communicated to you some good mood for the weekend. Through my words and/or my music.
Remember: **Hard work always pays off**.
Keep at it! :0)

The big cleanup!
Day 15 (Day 14). https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/the-old-time-of-computing-and-gaming-64c2cabd
There comes a time when you have to sort out the contents of your hard drives. Files tend to accumulate quickly. If for some time I try to be much more organized in this classification, it was not always the case. Obviously, after a while, it's a total mess! For the music I produce, there are tons of folders and files that accumulate. The ideal would be to keep a real database up to date. A sort of hierarchy by name to catalog each folder in each directory. It is possible to do this with a simple spreadsheet for example, with annotations. This would greatly simplify things later on. Catalog all the tracks under development. Try to put a name or a label on them to remember them. In any case, to archive them meticulously. Last night I almost accidentally started digging in old unclassified archives from 2018 to 2020. On my various hard drives, I have archives from 2006 onwards, whether it be recordings of **Solar Phasing** or the rock band I created called **Alchemic Journey**. https://audius.co/solarphasing https://soundcloud.com/alchemicjourney
Tomorrow I will share the updated version of "**Welcome To The Core**" From my incoming Album called: "**Electronic Patterns**". I'm finalizing the track today to export a mix. With drums, etc.. Give this preview a listen before the new version! I would also take the opportunity to make a quick assessment of the evolution of the work. I'm still optimistic for a release for a late March/early April 2022 release. Finally! :0) https://audius.co/SolarPhasing/welcome-to-the-core-preview-400469 https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/sets/electronic-patterns
https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/welcome-to-the-core-preview
Okay, but let's go back from 2018 to 2020. When I say "**unclassified**", that means they are loose in a master folder. With just a date for a folder name, it's hard to know what they are! Sometimes, even a name does not evoke much. To my great surprise I found a good twenty ideas in the process of development that had completely left my memory. Forgotten! If you hadn't exported a demo of the title, you should obviously start by relaunching the project to listen to each of the compositions. Even though, one idea can hide another one! From a basic idea two different directions. And finally when you listen to it, you say to yourself: "*Oh yes, ok, it's this idea! Hey that's cool! I'll come back to it*".. or not! In this case, trash! Otherwise, you rename, move the file if necessary. Next. For a tiny percentage of this sorting, it takes hours. But it must be done. In any case, I want to proceed this way from now on. But you know, for images it's the same thing. Maybe even worse! We accumulate tons and tons of them every day. Hello sorting, the day you want to do it.
Let's organize, let's classify! Let's be methodical!
Don't miss my article about "**Backing up your crypto datas: seed, private key, etc..**". This is also all about organization and methods. https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/backing-up-your-crypto-datas-seed-private-key-etc-c921b780
I realized, really surprised, that I was very prolific these last years. While searching through these repertoires, I realized that the next album "**Missing Time**" (after "**Electronic Patterns**" is almost finished, too. Well advanced in its evolution. That's good. The hindsight is good too. Necessary! Also.. I'm going to upload a lot of sounds and other soundtracks for **indie games developers** and **other multimedia projects creators** in the coming days. Some things completely free, others at affordable prices. I also need to refocus on this aspect of my work. For all the sounds I offer for free, I'll have to do the math on the various sites: Freesound, Itchio, GameDev Market, etc.. , there have been thousands and thousands of downloads. It's rewarding! And even if I don't make a dime off of it, I'll keep doing it. This is my way of helping this community. :0)
**One very important thing!**
Archive your work in various media and places. External hard drives, SD cards, USB Flash Drive, or on the Cloud. Remember to do this regularly! Two copies are better than one! Because the day a hard drive fails you, it will hurt to lose everything. Remember to make regular backups! Once a week, if not once a month at least. There are now cloud services that are not very expensive. It's worth thinking about it.
**The big Cleanup**, as a title of the article, could have been about the legendary **spring cleaning**. In my music corner, things accumulate quickly too. Haha ha. The good times will be here soon. Spring is coming soon. The sun is warming up. We need that warmth more than ever!

The old time of Computing.. and gaming!
Day 14. (Day 13). https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/because-of-being-a-night-owl-65d2b5d5
**Old time, good time!**
I remember buying my first PC ("**Compatible PC**") in the late 1990s. I had owned an **AMIGA 600** for a few years and it had suddenly broken down. An infinite sadness for me, because the **Commodore Amiga** was a dream machine! No matter what you wanted to do with it. This will probably be the subject of a future article because I am sure that some of you loved this wonderful machine. But let's go back to that first "**IBM compatible**". It was a big tower with an **AMD DX 40** that I bought second hand at a reasonable price. A nice machine that ran **Windows 3.1** and was functional for office work. But for games it was not really the case! First because **Windows 95** had just been released and was a real revolution for multimedia, and I was still running Windows 3.1, a very unstable system and rather capricious with games. But the limitations came mainly from the technical characteristics of the machine, a modest processor: 40Mhz, very little Ram memory: 8Mb, and a graphics card nothing more basic. For example, when I ran **DOOM** for the first time, I had to disable the sound to get an acceptable frame rate.. haha ha.
For a better reading journey: one of the more expressive guitarist, **Carlos Santana**. With **Revelations** and **Europa**, two beautiful instrumental compositions. Here, Live at Hammersmith Odeon in 1976. One of my favorite guitarist! :0)
https://youtu.be/dzOMbUuBQ18
**Shareware?**
There was this CD I got with a magazine that was a compilation of the best **Shareware** games. The principle of Shareware was to offer you the beginning of the game, generally one episode out of the three or more of the complete version. You could then play enough to get a good idea of the game and become addicted. At the end of the free episode, the contact information to buy the full game was displayed, and you could order by mail, or by BBS (a dinosaur that still hasn't died out). I was able to discover a multitude of gems of all kinds while playing enough to want to continue the adventure. This was the case of **DOOM** that I bought in boxed version afterwards. The Internet was just emerging, slowly. France often having a train of delay.. (It's what I feel, sorry) difficult to find an offer proposing services, moreover affordable. With probably 56k (?!) per modem! It was easier to buy magazines that offered CDs with contents. There were myriads of them compared to today. That was cool too! Do you remember games like **Eye of The Beholder**, **Wolfenstein 3D**, **Bio Menace**, **God of Thunder**, **Duke Nukem** (the first and the second) before **Duke Nukem 3D**, and many more..
**A rabbit named Jack!**
Among the most outstanding discoveries was **Jazz Jackrabbit**, a **Sonic-like** platform game, incredibly fun and with a fine tuned gameplay. A cool green rabbit named **Jack**, a colorful universe, with crazy races, well thought levels with hilarious enemies. It was really a good slap on the PC. Jazz Jackrabbit is a game I still play without any problem today, and still with as much pleasure! It has not aged a bit. **Jack Jazzrabbit**, it's **Epic Megagames**. For the record, Epic MegaGames became **Epic Games** better known for the **Unreal** series, but also for the **Unreal Engine**, etc.. Today, they have also launched the **Epic Games Store**, which regularly offers free games. It's really worth it, just for that! Feel free to download the client if you like gaming. https://www.epicgames.com/store/fr/
Today you can find the complete saga of **Jack Jazzrabbit** on **GOG** at an affordable price. This **Jack Jazzrabbit Collection** includes **Jazz Jackrabbit CD-ROM version** and **Jazz Jackrabbit Holiday Hare '95**. A preinstalled version of **DosBox** allows you to run it on any recent system: Windows, Linux or Mac OS X, in one click. And even more more fun, the **Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Collection** including: **Jazz Jackrabbit 2 - The Secret Files** and **Jazz Jackrabbit 2 - The Chritsmas Chronicles**! My favorite platform games, before **Sonic** (yes, it is!) or **Rayman**. https://www.gog.com/fr/game/jazz_jackrabbit_collection https://www.gog.com/fr/game/jazz_jackrabbit_2_collection
Thank you so much to @foryoubtc09, a new sponsor! **You Rock** the **Bitcoin Cash** galaxy! :0)
**Command lines**
It was quite an era with this computer, because games that used **MSDOS** had no problems. Well, let's say not much.. comparatively speaking. Haha. You had to be quite a tinkerer and try to understand the problems to find solutions. And often the creation of special DOS boot floppies was necessary for some applications or games. You said "Floppies"?! :0)) Note that this was an excellent school for the initiation to computers. I owned some Amstrad computers before the Commodore Amiga 600, a CPC 6128 and a PCW 8256, the CPM they had on board was a system relatively close to DOS in terms of commands. So I easily swallowed the DOS. **MSDOS 6.22**. I still have the floppy disks install. Today, I have built two dedicated PC for retro gaming, and old software archives. Once is enough, but I have two. Opportunities at really low prices. An another article to come about it. Keep in touch!

Because of being a night owl
Day 13. (Day 12). https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/promptcash-an-easy-solution-for-instant-bitcoin-cash-payments-086c3df2
After a little break for three days. Deserved rest.
But mostly.. I was severely lacking in sleep. Working on music. I think artists are night owls, late sleepers. All my life I have gone through these phases of insomnia. Until I tamed it, adopted it. After 50, we start to feel much more this accumulation of fatigue. Your sleep is no longer the same, disturbed, light. If at 20 years old, once you were awake, you could hang around for a few more hours daydreaming, now it's over, once you are awake, you have to get up. Or adopt a healthier lifestyle for a better sleep? Maybe. If you have any advice, I'm interested. I think I've tried so many things. Nothing works. Yes, a good rhythm, sometimes.. early to bed, early to rise! Very early in fact. 4 or 5 o'clock in the morning. But it doesn't last long, a week or two, before I shift again. Inexorably! :0)) I regularly have nightmares. This has been going on for a few months now. My lady, who is very lucid, tells me that these are family problems that I have to solve. She is right. So right. Family is always very delicate. My subconscious is trying to give me a message. I guess. All my family (from my part) is in Spain, I live in France. Communication is not so easy. When you are in front of a person, things are different.
Before going further, here is an EP of electronic music I discovered last week, really good. Take the time to listen if you like old synths and Berlin School. It's on **Bandcamp**, not possible to integrate it directly to ReadCash. https://solarphasing.bandcamp.com

**Rocking the summer!**
With my rock band **Alchemic Journey**, we hope that all measures regarding the health crisis will finally be lifted this spring. At least that's what the government suggests here in **France.** Mainly the "sanitary pass", which became "vaccinal pass", since then. I say this in passing, but 4 out of 5 members of the group are not vaccinated. It's a choice. In the last two years we have had many dates cancelled or postponed. Nevertheless, let's consider ourselves lucky because we have been playing every summer quite regularly, about ten concerts a year. If these measures were lifted, it would allow us to book dates for the whole summer. In previous years we started playing concerts in the spring and sometimes even before. And into the dead of winter. In the meantime, we are planning to **stream live concerts** from our rehearsal room. We are currently working on the technical side to get high resolution video with sound out of the mixer. That would be perfect. Once all the technical details are worked out, we could repeat this possibility on a regular basis. At the same time, this would allow many of our supporters around the world to see us play live for them. About 14,000 people follow us on Twitter. It would be a good experience! Keep in touch! :0) https://www.facebook.com/AlchemicJourneyOfficial
**I love gaming**
Gaming is the best antidepressant, the doctors will have to recommend it by prescription! Haha.. ha. What do you think about that?!
This weekend I also took the opportunity to play a little bit. Relaxing on other things than music. I am a long time gamer, I said it several times. Since Pong at the end of 70's. I missed a lot of games these last months. I'm trying to buy some and give them a try. For example, **Kings Bounty II**. I'm a fan of this series: **King's Bounty**. I played the first and all the extensions. It's **Heroes of Might & Magic** which led me to discover King's Bounty universe. Well, I have a strange feelings for now about **Kings Bounty II**, now in full "dating" 3D, with a different approach. More like an RPG than Strategy. Another thing, you are no longer in an open world like in the first. You are now "guided" on a path. Freedom is gone! But, after a few hours of playing, I will continue. Because generally a game I don't like, I don't play it several hours in a row. Despite everything, It still looks interesting. But this graphical choice, etc.., is very destabilizing, I must admit. I really loved the old graphical art and view. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1135300/Kings_Bounty_II/ https://store.steampowered.com/app/25900/Kings_Bounty_The_Legend/
**King's Bounty: The Legend**
VS..
**King's Bounty II**
If you played the **Boulder Dash** original, maybe you would give a try to **Boulder Dash Deluxe**, a fresh remake of this addicting game. I remember playing it on **Amstrad CPC 6128**. I still have one! :0) I bought **Boulder Dash Deluxe** and have some great fun with it. A really cool casual one. Great content, with 180 levels, and integrating the original game too! Once the game is well in hand, it's a 100 miles hour gameplay! Fast and smooth, at the same time. https://www.gog.com/fr/game/boulder_dash_deluxe https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amstrad_CPC
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZv7V2AQD3M
Every week I will suggest you a couple of games, and I'm also thinking of making some reviews.
**What games do you play? Please, leave a comment about it!**
**So.. Are you a night owl?** :0)
Thanks to continue to read me.
Wishing you all a fantastic week! & Much Love! :0)

Prompt.Cash: an easy solution for Instant Bitcoin Cash Payments!
Day 12 - (Day 11). https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/bitcoin-cash-the-third-crypto-in-french-heart-38c42851
I think I've been looking for a solution to **sell my music** with **Bitcoin Cash** for over a year. Or more.. I don't have the time or the inclination to update my coding skills again. It's been a long time since I wrote a line of code. More than a decade. I was looking for a reliable and easy to set up solution. I had momentarily put this idea aside, absorbed by other things. And then I was away for 6 months.
I would like to be able to sell my music directly from my website with **Bitcoin Cash**. Official releases, which are distributed on all streaming platforms, but also other things. Alternative releases. Unfinished works. Different things. Give access to some pages with bonuses, etc.. The possibilities are many. Including licensing. There is also the fact that I create a lot of sound for indie game developers, etc.. A lot of free tracks or sound effects, but also quality soundtracks with low cost licenses. That's my choice. It's my way to participate in the history of video games. I'm a long time gamer. Since the late 70's and the arrival of Pong on a TV screen. Small developers often don't have the budget for this kind of thing. We can even imagine a monthly payment to give access to an exhaustive sound library. Things like that!
Lets play some music for a good mood and some ambient while reading. I discovered this one on "**Deeper**" channel on **NoiseCash** this morning: **Ben Böhmer - Wagnis**. House music. Soft. https://noise.cash/c/deeper-0lv6v38l https://noise.cash/u/SolarPhasing
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SS7-5S7ANrU
**The advantages of Bitcoin Cash?**
The first thing is that there is no middleman between the seller and the buyer. 100% of the revenue goes to the artist. The payment fees are very low, in the order of a few cents at most. The speed of the payment process for the buyer who pays in Bitcoin Cash and is immediately redirected to the download of the music he has just bought. With a smartphone you scan the QR code and that's it! **Why Bitcoin Cash?** I think nobody here will ask that question, haha ha. But.. in case of: do you know a better cryptocurrency that offers the same benefits?
**Prompt Cash**
Last night, I was looking at my private list of users related to Bitcoin Cash on Twitter and I discover this Tweet about **Prompt.Cash**: https://prompt.cash
https://twitter.com/bitcoininfo/status/1493670219868426245
Saying..
"prompt.cash
BitcoinCash Payment Processor - Prompt.Cash
Instant BitcoinCash (BCH) payments directly into your own wallet (non-custodial). Fast and secure low-fee transactions"
"*Hey, may be, It's what I'm thinking?!*". It looks like!
**What does Prompt.Cash offer?**
It's a **Bitcoin Cash payment gateway** that offers a few other useful services, such as integrating a Wordpress blog widget with the Prompt.cash **Wordpress plugin**. However, this service requires a subscription ($20/month). Which for a small independent seller like me is quite expensive monthly. However, the first year is free. Nothing prevents you from using the product for a full year, building a loyal customer base, and then deciding if paying a subscription of this amount is viable/profitable for you.
The free account allows you to integrate scripts that you can customize with the API. So the service is quite usable too for free. The wallet is yours, the money arrives directly on it with the public key of an existing wallet or created for the occasion.
Anyway, I'm going to test both solutions: integrating small pieces of code on the page of an Album (free), or through the Wordpress Prompt Cash plugin which offers more options (paying after the first year).
Look at some of the functionalities in the image below. A really cool one is you can accept payment with SLP Tokens too. Easy to setup. Imagine people having some of your tokens paying with them to buy a product. In my case, for an amount of x tokens, getting a full album, a single, a special track, etc.. That's cool!:0) The **SmartBCH bridge** can be useful too: BCH to SmartBCH. An **URL shortener** is also available. https://prompt.cash/bridge
**Let's give it a try! & We will see..**
**Concretely**
I create an account on **Prompt.Cash**, set my public key (xPUB) of my Bitcoin Cash wallet where it is requested and save the information. I then go to the administration of my **Wordpress** site and search for the Prompt.Cash plugin by typing "*Prompt Cash*" in search. Ok, here it is, I have it! I reread the preview of the functions. Everything is ok, this is what I'm looking for! I click on "Install" and there it is, the plugin installed in a few seconds and need to be activated. In a few minutes all that part is done. The admin place on Prompt.Cash website is clear and functional. https://prompt.cash
Check out the video. It's well explained.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TIpZW1P_9M
So, check out the Prompt.Cash gateway website, create an account to go further and see if this service can help some of you. https://prompt.cash
For my part, I will create some landing pages on my **website** tonight or tomorrow morning, test it.. and see if it's perfect one for me. I have to update my website on all parts. It's a new one not updated since I installed it a couple of months ago. I need to work on it seriously to made it fully functional and exhaustive. https://solarphasing.com

Bitcoin Cash: the third crypto in French heart!
Day 11 (Day 10). https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/you-would-love-to-start-recording-some-music-b9e89086
I was blogging a few days ago where I was expressing my loneliness **in the world of crypto currencies** and **Bitcoin Cash** in my small town in France. It seems that this is not a generalization. I was very pleasantly surprised to learn by reading an online press article today that, Bitcoin Cash was the 3rd crypto currency in the hearts of the French. https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/about-bitcoin-cash-from-a-small-french-town-f0a039b4
The popular French news website "**Le Figaro**" announced that 8% of French people invest in digital assets including crypto currencies. These figures are based on a study conducted by the firm KPMG, Adan (the association of professionals in the sector of digital assets and blockchain technologies in France. This kind of study is a first in France. It was launched to establish a profile of people interested in crypto currencies in France. https://www.lefigaro.fr/secteur/high-tech/dans-le-portefeuille-de-cryptomonnaies-des-francais-20220214
For 60% of these investors it is men under 35 years and with an annual income of less than 18,000 euros. Surprising for the income. Then, for 21% of them they are aged between 35 and 44 years, and finally for the oldest above 60 years only 10% of them trust cryptocurrencies. Most of them live in the Paris region or in large provincial cities. This explains the fact that in this process of democratization of crypto currencies, large cities have a definite advantage over a small town like mine, which is located on the Swiss border, not far from Geneva. For a good part of these holders of crypto-currencies, 61% have launched into the adventure less than three years ago, after the crash of 2018.
**The very good surprise is that Bitcoin Cash only comes in third place in the hearts of these French investors**! With in order of preference of their in investments, **Bitcoin** (BTC) for 49%, **Ethereum** (ETH) for 29% and finally **Bitcoin Cash** (BCH) for 28%. Note that for only 1% Bitcoin Cash would already be in second place. In conclusion: **Bitcoin Cash** is taking a nice slice of the cake in France!
BNB or DOT seems to doing well too. This seems logical to me in relation to the inflation of transaction fees on the Ethereum network. Investors with modest incomes are retreating to more profitable networks.
To read more about this publication, check out this link! https://www.lefigaro.fr/secteur/high-tech/dans-le-portefeuille-de-cryptomonnaies-des-francais-20220214
"*Why do we buy cryptocurrencies? For half of the crypto owners, the first reason given is to get interesting returns. But quickly behind comes the motivation of a long-term investment and a way to protect against inflation (for 22% of them).* "
For me, **Bitcoin Cash** is definitively at the first place!
I'm not a holder, I spend all my earnings on **Bitcoin Cash** as I need or want. The first advantage in my opinion is the amount of transaction fees. From $0.1 to only a few cents. The speed is second. For example, if I need to send $100 to someone on the other side of France, or in another country, it's done in minutes (transaction verified). Directly into his wallet! Maybe we should emphasize these advantages even more to attract more people to Bitcoin Cash.
I hear you say it often: "*The real Bitcoin is Bitcoin Cash!*" Okay, folks, you've convinced me! **Bitcoin Cash is Bitcoin!**
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZwnVfl1gnA
I'm thinking to work on tracks **dedicated to Bitcoin Cash**. Probably an EP. Which I would leave in the public domain under a Commons license. Anyone could download it for free. A kind of electronica anthem to the cryptocurrency Bitcoin Cash. For the moment, I'm still focused on the next release: **Electronic Patterns**.

You would love to start recording some music?
Day 10 (Day 9). https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/enriching-the-reading-experience-81b3734c
You would love to start recording music, but you don't know where to start and what equipment you need?
The first question is what instrument do you plan to use to record music: a guitar, a keyboard, an accordion, etc..? With several instruments? Alone or in a group?
In all cases we assume that your recording studio will be your PC or MAC. That is to say that you will record your productions on this machine. You will start with very little equipment by installing what is commonly called a "**Home Studio**". A mini Home Studio of course, but a Home Studio nonetheless. You will be amazed at what you can produce with very little equipment and a very affordable starting budget. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Home_recording
It will be difficult to cover this vast subject in a single article, so let's assume that you want to produce electronic music. We will deal with the various other topics in other articles to come. Also, we will develop this first article in more detail later. Let's lay the foundations.
**For electronic music**
Basically you will need a PC or a Mac, a recording software (DAW), sound banks and effects to process the sound, (for sound banks and effects, some software offer a number of these in the included library), and a simple MIDI master keyboard.
Let's start by installing a software to record music. For free if possible at first! You will see later if you want to go much further in this adventure and in your musical productions. At that point, you will probably need to buy a license of a more professional software. There is a large choice and at different budgets. But to start, among the free software, on the Mac you will find "**Garage Band**" (little brother of **Logic Pro**), very well known and with an easy handling, which is an excellent first choice to start. Moreover, it is provided with each MAC, and has quality sound banks. So you will be ready to produce your music quickly. On PC, among the freeware, you will find **Tracktion "Waveform Fre**e", a free DAW (also available on Linux and MAC) to start producing quality music without any limitations. Easy to use and very complete. https://www.apple.com/mac/garageband/ https://www.tracktion.com/products/waveform-free
Note: there is a plethora of recording software for all operating systems, including Mac IOS and Android. I propose you only two of them, judicious for first steps, but free to you to go on internet to consult specialized articles on the subject. Personally I use **Samplitude Pro X**, **Samplitude Music Studio** for light and portable projects, and much more rarely **EnergyXT**. One of the best for Electronic Music is **Fruity Loop**. https://www.magix.com/int/music/samplitude/pro-x/ https://energy-xt.com/energyxt.html https://www.image-line.com
This is one of the first electronic track I recorded, all with free software plugins, a PC and a midi master keyboard. It's a scifi space opera track called: "**Ancient World**". https://open.spotify.com/track/780phprykGYfgyeIJ7AQfH?si=f657104029804129
https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/ancient-world
**Let's choose a keyboard!**
Whether you know the basics of music or not, you need a keyboard. It's better! Note that there are two kinds of keyboards: those that can produce sounds because they have a whole collection of them internally. They are real synths! And those that do not have sounds, they are Master MIDI controllers that can drive hardware synths modules, software synths (standalone or plugins), or sound banks installed on your machine (standalone or plugins too), through the MIDI protocol. All keyboards with sounds integrated can be also used as a Midi Keyboard now (with a MIDI USB/MIDI in/Out interface). You have this possibility. If you have a low budget Yamaha Arranger Synth, or anything like it, you can use it as a Master MIDI Keyboard too to start playing with sound. I recommend to buy a dedicated Master MIDI Keyboard because you just have to plug it on you PC or MAC with the supplied USB cable, which also serves as a power supply. And you ready to use it on your DAW via MIDI protocol by USB. You will find some small, light and transportable.
Check out **Amazon**; you will find some good MIDI keyboards starting at $40. I recommend **M-Audio** ones, **AKAI** or **Novation**. But **MidiPlus** are affordable at very low budget and will do the job the same. You will choose one according to your budget, but also your motivation. No need to invest money in an expensive device if you are not sure you really want to pursue this adventure after your first steps. I recommend a keyboard with good quality and price. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=midi+master+keyboard&rh=n%3A11091801%2Cn%3A11973721&dc&crid=BDFRZ8IMK8QS&qid=1644919466&rnid=2941120011&sprefix=midi+master+keyboa%2Caps%2C864&ref=sr_nr_n_2
**You now have a machine with recording software installed, a MIDI keyboard connected?**
Now let's look at a very important thing to do before you start recording or playing, and that is to set up the sound routing through your software and machine. Many beginners run into problems at this stage because there are some very important settings to make in your software. First of all you have to make sure that it recognizes your keyboard as a "MIDI in" instrument in the MIDI options, and of course activate/select this function on the recognized device if it is not the default. All recent MIDI keyboards are recognized, it is now a standard. On PC, I highly recommend to install the **ASIO4ALL** drivers to manage and reduce latency during recording. You will have to select ASIO4ALL in the Audio In and Out options of your recording software.
You're ready to rock!
**To go further..**
Ideally, you should use an external sound card dedicated to music, but it is not essential at this stage. Ok, see you soon for more! :0)
**Keep in touch for the next article on the subject: creating a project!** Using a plugin instrument, or a sound bank.
I hope these publications can help some of you here on ReadCash. In any case, don't hesitate to ask your own questions. I will be very happy to try to answer them! I see some musicians here on ReadCash posting their works, It's great!

Enriching the reading experience
Day 9 (Day 8). https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/backing-up-your-crypto-datas-seed-private-key-etc-c921b780
First of all! I had promised for today a fresh new track. I just finished mixing and uploading it. See below. :0)
Some time ago, I initiated the **Sunday Music** here on my blog **ReadCash**. Every Sunday, I proposed a music choice just to share good vibes. It can be particular artist, or a genre, a mix of genres and artists, etc.. So every Sunday, you have music to discover, or re-discover on a dedicated publication. So obviously, when I publish my articles during the week, and no matter what the subject is, you will discover music too. Mine, since I am above all an artist musician composer under the name of **Solar Phasing**, and/or those of other artists of all styles and from all over the world, known, less known, or not known at all. Music is based on emotions and feelings. If it is good, it is good. Simply put! https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/sunday-music-mirage-berlin-school-krautrock-92d7acd5
This musical sharing is a way to enrich the reading experience and share good vibes. Whatever happens, you have and will always have music to listen to on my publications. Obviously nobody is obliged to listen to it, everyone is free to do it or not. It's just there, at your fingertips. However, I believe that a majority of my readers click to listen, whether it is to enrich the experience or out of curiosity. Thank you for reading me, first, and then for taking the time to listen to the music. :0)
I was away from **ReadCash** for a period of 6 months, which is a long time. On some social media, 6 months later, nobody knows you anymore, haha ha. Just kidding! :0)) I'm back since 10 days, and I think I'll keep posting blogs regularly. I've set this as my goal. Like a challenge. To share my life experience and my work on music. From one subject to another. Writing is liberating. Gratifying, too. I like it. I like to read people too on different subjects. We love to write. We all learn from each other, sharing is an enriching experience.
**Ok, great! But today Sunday Music?**
Today, It's not a really one.. but it's one?! I mean, I schedule to write a short **Sunday Music** blog every Sunday. Today it's more a long one to explain a bit the idea and the context of things. A recap.
Let's dive into **French Electronic Music** with **Jean Michel Jarre**, a live concert from Théâtre Marigny, Paris -France, from his "**Oxygène**" well known Album! Enjoy. :0) https://jeanmicheljarre.com
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fcyNbSsmIk
And.. Something more experimental. It's modular electronic experimental conceptual compositions from the 70's, published later on 2000's, by **Eliane Radigue**: **L'Ile Re-sonante.** (Golden Nica, Ars Electronica 2006, Shiiin, 2005). This is a sonic experience, and not every one will like it, but feel free to clic "play" to discover the mood this french compositor tried to transcribe. Kind of a meditative Drone. Evolving, slowly. For a peaceful Sunday.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RrsiGmLp_E
**Album or EP design.**
Conceptual Albums are something fascinating. Because an artist can record tracks, which may not be directly related to each other, and then, once you have enough of them, release is as an Album. But it is more interesting for a musician-composer like me to start with a concept idea and create an Album developed on that idea. I now work this way, with a few rare exceptions. My next works after the release of **Electronic Patterns**, like **Machines** or **Missing Time** are all conceptual ideas. **Machines**, is based on the idea that after an nuclear apocalypse on earth, machines start to communicate with each other. But they couldn't before. **Missing Time** is based on an abduction experience with Aliens, and missing time, related to the UFO phenomenon. https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/sets/machines https://soundcloud.com/solarphasing/sets/mt-classified
Trying to build a story with a musical development of the Album in a coherent way. The tracks, their title, their relationship between them, etc.. Telling a story, but in music. There is a multitude of conceptual albums, for the most famous, let us quote for example **Pink Floyd**. https://www.pinkfloyd.com/news/
**About my current music work**
I continue to work on my next album which is called "**Electronic Patterns**". It's been ten days now, and each passing day, I'm getting a little bit further. It is now a goal! To conclude this project, release the Album, to move on to another one, new or pending. I had promised on my last post to share a new track at the next blog. I will share some today. https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/backing-up-your-crypto-datas-seed-private-key-etc-c921b780
We are always very happy to come back home. There is a kind of proverb in France that says "We only feel good at home". And It's true, I think. so let's "Going Home"! It's one of the tracks, I don't like the term "commercial" very much, but I would say: "Grand Public" or "easy to listen" about this **Electronic Patterns** Album, which is completely influenced by the **BerlinSchool** electronic music wave of the 70's. Which is still going on nowadays. So, for today.. **Going Home**! Freshly mixed, nearly finished. The **theme** may be familiar to you, as I had shared a little bit of this composition during the recording process on one of the Trailers of the Crowdfounding campaign. Well, I think I like it. Let me know if you like it too! :0)

Backing up your crypto datas: seed, private key, etc..
Day 8 (Day 7). https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/about-bitcoin-cash-from-a-small-french-town-f0a039b4
**For Security**.
The first piece of advice I would give to anyone new to the world of crypto-currencies is to save the seed phrase, usually twelve words long, and all other information related to your newly created wallet, as this data will allow you to restore the wallet at any time in the event of a problem. This should be done in a meticulous and organized manner so that you know which wallet a particular seed phrase or private key belongs to.
For any new wallet, make this backup of your data with all the details before you go any further! So, it's done! It should become a habit. It's very easy to forget to do this very important thing when you've moved on to something else just after. For example, on **ReadCash** or **NoiseCash**, and many other places too, if you clear your browser's cache, you also clear your wallet login data. Without your seed phrase, the content of your previous wallet is lost. Forever! So.. If you are currently using a wallet for which you have not yet made a backup, or if you are not sure whether you have done it correctly or not, don't delay, make it as soon as possible, by security. Nobody wants to lose their Bitcoin Cash! :0) I read just this morning the testimony of a person who lost his wallet on **Noisecash** because he forgot to backup it. That's what inspired this blog. https://noise.cash/u/SolarPhasing
To have some background music ambient while reading me: my track **On A Long Distance** from my **In Slow Motion** EP. This track have been licensed to **Vidar Hokstad** for his science fiction book serie: **Galaxy Bound**. With two other more. Check out his **Gate Network** about the Scifi world he is building. https://galaxybound.com/books https://galaxybound.com/starchart/
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfK1GEWN0BI
**Saving methods.**
For the seed phrases, you can write them down on paper for safety, which you will keep in a protected place and only known to you, or at the very most, to the person close to you who is authorized to find these documents if necessary. One copy is not enough! Make replicas of this data kept in safe places. Don't store anything on the cloud on the internet, or even in an email. Instead, save all that information on a USB flash drive, SD card, external hard drive, and even, some will smile, a 1.44-inch PC floppy disk. Who would think that you would have hidden confidential information on one of those old obsolete floppy disks. A .txt file only weighs a few kb, you can save it on a machine that will never be connected to the Internet. I suggest you forget about your smartphone or iPhone as a backup media. It's really not a good solution. You might lose it or have it stolen. And it is common knowledge that your phone is spying on you 24 hours a day. An up-to-date copy of all this data on several media is recommended. In case one of the backup media fails.
There are several methods to save this very sensitive data: a software dedicated to the backup of passwords for example will do the job perfectly. I particularly recommend **KeePass** which is a proven and free software! For more experienced users, an encrypted file or an encrypted container on a machine will also do the trick. "**Trust nobody!**". :0)) X-Files ref.. You will also need to save the access passwords in both cases. So that you can be sure to be able to open these safes no matter what happens. Remember to regularly update all your backup media (or papers), as well as to regularly check their operation at the same time. https://keepass.info
**KeePass**: A safe and free alternative! https://keepass.info/features.html
**KeepPass** is available on all versions of Windows, but is also available on Linux, MAC, Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows Mobile, Backberry, Palm OS, and a few more. These are unofficial reliable porting versions. I let you check by yourself all the options that this software offers. The main one being obviously a **high security** for the backup of your sensitive keys. You will probably also adopt it for your login passwords on the different websites you use every day. I sincerely think it's the best in its category and it's completely free! It has some really useful features including: automatic login on sites, when they allow it, advanced password generation, the ability to attach files to each entry in your catalog, a QR Code for example, to classify your entries with directories, as you wish by customizing them with icons, colors, etc.. The software locks on your desktop after a certain period of non-use. The copy and paste in memory is protected and is deleted after a certain period of time. Several secure login methods to the program are provided. The list is long. A must! https://keepass.info/features.html
Let me know if I forget something very important.

About Bitcoin Cash from a small French town.
Day 7 (Day 6). https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/an-update-about-the-music-blockchain-0d459e36
**A fact.**
Yesterday I was exchanging some opinions with a **ReadCash** member about cryptocurrencies and their global adoption by people all around the world. What he was saying in his publication was very relevant about how, in the end, not that many people use or know about the world of cryptos, compared to the entire global population. And having adopted it as an alternative or an opportunity to more freedom. Cryptocurrencies over **Paypal** are only available in USA, and now in UK. As **Bitcoin Cash** is one of the crypto assets Paypal choose, we can hope more and more people adoption when Paypal cryptos will be opened in much more countries.
**ReadCash role.**
About this massive adoption, it is very important to mention that **ReadCash** (and **NoiseCash**) is one of the most important democratization and adoption initiatives of cryptocurrencies, through the **Bitcoin Cash**! And maybe even the entire cryptocurrency universe. I don't know, let me know, but I don't see of any other. With a philosophy and a human dimension like Readcash. The website we love have a major role! We would probably be very surprised to find out how many people have now adopted **Bitcoin Cash** from landing here! Thanks to the devs to build our favorite blogging platform, and to the all donators, especially @MarcDeMesel, without whom this would not be possible. This man is a visionary! :0)
Not to mention that through **ReadCash**, hundreds, even thousands of people, can now get their heads above water, and finally see a better future for themselves and their families. We can sometimes read through various testimonies how difficult life can be in some countries. All these people who were struggling to survive on a daily basis and who testify about the opportunity to pay their bills and eat their fill. But also, building projects, sharing experience, knowledge, and their history. Creating communities to spread the word all over the world! :0)

**Let's go back to the previous discussion.**
I pointed out to this readCash member that I myself, living in France in a small town of 17,000 inhabitants, in my friends or close acquaintances, no one except only one, used or is interested in the world of cryptocurrency. Do you believe it? It's real! I sometimes talk about it with musicians I meet or work with or play music with, and they don't get it! They clearly don't see the potential and the possibilities. Definitely don't seem interested or challenged. Other than small questions of curiosity, no real interest. Even a certain indifference. As if the subject was disturbing and scary. Maybe they see it like the stock market, volatile and very risky. They are afraid. Or even thinking that it is illegal.
When I play live in the summer with my rock band, I wear a "**Bitcoin Cash**" shirt that I bought from a link shared here on ReadCash in March 2021, recommended by a well-known user on ReadCash. It is currently my favorite Shirt! I feel like an advertiser you know, haha.. ha.. (joking). From memory, I think there was only one person who asked me about it at a show, which was "*Oh yeah, Bitcoin! Do you have some? Are you saving them?*". I said, "*Be careful, it's not Bitcoin, it's Bitcoin Cash! It's not the same thing at all! Not even the same philosophy*!". And then, "*Oh yeah?!*", and he walked away. He would have seemed interested I would have taken the time to explain it to him what is Bitcoin Cash. At each concert I often talk with many people. I can see that they notice my shirt, and the "**Bitcoin Cash**" logo, but no dialogue or questions takes place, for the moment.
It often seems that there are so many people involved in the crypto sphere. But in everyday life in your circle, there are no much crypto lovers, most likely. On the websites we use, we're among enthusiasts, so we're used to perhaps thinking that this is something that's very common IRL. But no, not at all. At least not in my region in France in a small town of 17000. Leave me your comments to tell me how the situation is in your countries, your cities and even villages, it will be interesting. :0)
But don't worry, more and more people will take the plunge, because it's inevitable. It's the future !

**A few words about the work on the current album.**
I've been working on drum parts with two Korg Volka series hardware synthesizers since yesterday. The Volka Beats and the Volka Sample. By synchronizing them with my DAW via MIDI, they allow me to create drum parts in real time. With a multitude of variations and subtleties. It's the first time I work this way with these little machines. They are incredible! Incredibly powerful! And very organic.
I will do an article to present these **Korg synths**!
I'm on NoiseCash, and **MemoCash**, under the same nickname: **Solar Phasing**. & You'll find me everywhere with this nickname, since it's my artist name. https://noise.cash/u/SolarPhasing https://memo.cash/profile/1PWN2vVxXZ3EmAsXoTmX3nBD56sfewpLZL?p=posts#activity

An update about the Music Blockchain!
Day 6. (Day 5). https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/electronic-berlinschool-patterns-aa173f13
One year after my **last article** on the subject, where are we? https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/january-2021-blockchain-music-news-93de05f7
My point of view is a point of view as an artist who produces music, and therefore expects services that allow you to commercialize your music, whether by streaming, selling albums or tracks, aggregating your albums or singles on different streaming platforms such as **Spotify**, **Apple Music**, **Amazon Music**, and many others, selling derivative products, selling licenses for the rights to use your music, and the creation of NFTs. I think I'm not forgetting anything.. Also, It would be ideal to have all these services on one strong platform, like: **Audius**, for example. https://open.spotify.com/artist/0FarK4tJsP9D043gqpMCzN https://music.apple.com/fr/artist/solar-phasing/1414238216 https://music.amazon.fr/artists/B07FQSFQZT/solar-phasing https://audius.co/solarphasing
There is various projects on the blockchain music, but very few really stand out, and especially.. have the potential assets to really succeed. Indeed! On paper, the majority of these Music Blockchain Platform seem promising, but in reality, for the moment, things are different and are evolving so slowly, and sometimes not even, that we are at some point entitled to ask ourselves the "why?"! But, we need to keep faith. Have we the choice?
Some of these platforms are probably using us, artists, to speculate and make money, and maybe even a lot of money. No more, no less! And the longer this hype of promise lasts, the more money they will make. Before they give any back! In the meantime, your tracks are played and you don't earn a cent of royalties. Either because the remuneration system has not been implemented yet, or because for the moment your earnings are still not available. However, for some of these platforms, we are now two years or more after their creation, or their smashing announcements of (revolutionary) music industry. For most of them, the interfaces have not evolved, or only a very little, and with only a few additional features proposed, like the implementation of NFTs, for example, for the most important.
Some music of mine, for a best reading experience. Just click!

Thank you so much for my new Sponsor @francis105d1 !! :0) You #Rock the #BCH World!
Now I'll give you a quick overview about the actual situation. These words are my own. I will not be soft. I will take the time to develop more details for each platform in the near future.
**Audius**
Last year at this time the challenger in the field was **Audius**. And you know what? It still is! Unquestionably! The price of the **$Audio** token has gone from a price of **$0.20** last year in January 2021 to a high at **$4.95** in march 27, and is now hovering around **$1.05**. The token has still gone up by a factor of 5, despite the cryptocurrency market barely starting to recover. For sure, It's a token to follow because it will go high again and up to his best price, and more very soon. In August 2021 **Audius** announced a partnership with **TikTok**. The future looks bright with strong crypto backers and great worldwide artists supporting the project. https://audius.co/solarphasing
Below you can look at the table of Tiers. So, for example, to be able to release some NFTs you need to buy and stack 100+ $Audio on your Audius Wallet on the platform, or to got them from the October 2020 rewards as early supporter. Today, for the Tier 3, 10 000 $ Audio is $10 000. If you sold your previous Audius rewards, gasp! Note that you can see on the profile of the artists to which tier they belong, the corresponding badge is displayed. As the platform is build with a governance token, the more tokens you hold, the more power you have in decisions. "*Don’t just own the masters. Own the platform*", they said.
Important! The lastest news, February 07, 2022. Very good news!
**Monetization on his way!**
Check: **Proposing $AUDIO Rewards On Solana**. https://blog.audius.co/posts/proposing-audio-rewards-on-solana
[...]"*$AUDIO Rewards is the culmination of many months of team engineering effort, building upon existing entities in the Audius ecosystem and adding new ones – including a bridged SPL $AUDIO token on Solana. The engineering work completed for Rewards establishes key technical infrastructure* ***and paves the way for monetization development****, though it itself is not monetization – it is a system designed to provide small amounts of $AUDIO to many users and incentivize top of funnel activity*."[...]
[...]"*Solana already processes hundreds of thousands of Audius transactions every day, supporting key protocol functionality such as listen counts. Establishing an SPL token is the next major step in the protocol’s integration with the Solana ecosystem, enabling fast and cheap transfers of $AUDIO for $AUDIO Rewards and future monetization efforts*."[...]
**Audius** still look very strong to keep the challenger in this music blockchain adventure! If you ask me to recommend you only one? **It's Audius**! As artist or Music Lover. Both. Collabs and remixes is part of everyday there. Check it out! https://audius.co/solarphasing
**Emanate**
I remain very divided and undecided about **Emanate**. Maybe I didn't understand all the issues. But.. simple and basic things like creating playlists are still not even available yet. However, you can already subscribe to the platform's services. Which ones, in the end? I let you visit the site, as a music lover. I don't think you will want to subscribe. An artist who would not have stacked **5000** or **10000 EMT**, depending on the subscription subscribed, **Music Lover** or **Pro**, will not even be able to recover his royalties, still for the moment not available to withdrawal. Pay us money first! https://emanate.live/solar-phasing
A better look at the subscriptions, and the services.
Hold or pay! Both sides, you need to put money out.
But "Hey guys!", without the artists, no music catalog! :0)
**EMT** value is now at **$0.019** and was at his high at **$0.19**, so, 10 times down now. Wait & see.
The whole interface suffers from its prehistoric ergonomics. A major flaw, I think. Which for my part does not encourage me to invest in it. For the moment, I sold my first 5000 EMT stacked. I will see later..
One thing cool about Emanate (as for Audius) is that the community is engaged in Remixes Contests with nice prizes., or artists collaborations. The community seems active on this subject. The newsletters are frequent announcing these events. So, if you like this creative side, check **Emanate**. You can also distribute your music online throught Emanate. Let me know if I miss something I don't understood about Emanate!? https://emanate.live/solar-phasing
**Rocki**
Since the last year at the same period, nothing really new on **Rocki**. You need a KYC verification in order to cashout, but.. once done.. you still can't! What a surprise.. I've seen the old Token "$Rock" jump to 8 bucks or more last summer. As they migrated and created a new token on **Binance Smart Chain**, now you can't check how the old $Rock was doing over the ETH Mainnet ($8 or more, I don't remember exactly). The price is now $0.15, still better than Choon (yep, Rocki was previously Choon). But $8 to $0.15, what a dive. But still nice, I think. https://rocki.com/track/157311465
You will find an **Artist Found** on top right of the website to help you with NFT creative process, and more. It's a good point! I've been accepted, I now need to apply. I will keep you in touch with this part too. It can help some of you. Let see how Rocki will go forward. I need to check how music NFT creation operate. https://rocki.com/track/157311465

**Musicoin**
After his first swap in December 2020, **Musicoin** should have done a second one so as not to leave on the side of the road all those who for one reason or another could not do the first one. 90% or more of the holders. Ok! This second swap should have taken place in May 2021, but things did not go as planned. First thing, the migration of all the Data to a new server. The migration to the **Skale** blockchain was also difficult, and even with a few extra developers, the devs team had to fix many bugs. The test server phase should open soon to some users. And if everything goes well, the migration to the main chain, with a **new website** and the **second swap**!! & I hope it strongly!
The team is in the process of validating and signing an agreement, and an organization has also been created to manage the legal and administrative side of the project. Fingers crossed, **Musicoin** is about to rise from the ashes. Remember that it is a community project from now on. So you can participate too. Join the **Telegram Channel** for more informations. Don't hesitate. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjDjNbI0ortAhWUEMAKHbX1DCsQFjABegQIARAC&url=https%3A%2F%2Ft.me%2FMusicoin&usg=AOvVaw1iCejj7AgdkVXzV_3bs_ef
I still have **Aurovine** to explore, I haven't had the time or opportunity to do so yet. And he is relaunching. We have to be patient. As usual. There are some others blockchain music platforms, but I won't have time to explore them all before the end of my Album in preparation: "**Electronic Patterns**". https://www.aurovine.com

Electronic "BerlinSchool" Patterns
Hello to all of you! :0)
Day 5. (Day 4). https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/memories-from-childhood-576e0e61
I'm going to spend most of this week working to finish, I hope, quite quickly the album "**Electronic Patterns**". To summarize very quickly, it is a project that I started in May 2020 which is based on a concept of what I would call patterns, that is to say repetitive electronic sequences, with arpeggios or melodic lines, which create the base, the heart of the piece. With possible transitions, bridges, in order to link certain tracks together. Something very experimental in the end. **Electronic Patterns** is very strongly influenced by the **BerlinSchool**. Which is a completely new direction completely assumed. I've already released one or two things in this spirit, but this time I'm clearly announcing it as a **BerlinSchool music Album**!
For good vibes while reading. One of my favorite Album in this kind of Electronic Music: **Klaus Schulze - Continuum**.
https://youtu.be/UkXeOMSwdZQ
**Berlinschool music**.
The **Berlinschool music** is an electronic music movement created in the 70's, itself derived from **Krautrock**, inspired by artists from **West Berlin**, in **West Germany**. Artists like **Tangerine Dream**, or **Klaus Schulze** for exemple are the precursors. Today, artists like **Lisa Bella Donna** continue to perpetuate this style which is still going strong and which I like to define as the "*progressive rock*" of electronic music. It's a musical movement that has always been very experimental. https://www.tangerinedreammusic.com https://www.klaus-schulze.com https://lisabelladonna.com
Nowadays, **modular** or **analog** synthesizers are very fashionable again because the grain of these machines that were born in the 70s is very organic, very specific. The possibilities of approaching the work on the sound or the creation of sequences are infinite. Many companies market clones of these originals synths, whether they are hardware or software models. Some original models have been re-released. The software models of these legendary **Moog** or **ARP 2600** synths, and many others models, come close to the originals to perfection, while adding a multitude of innovations and possibilities that were not available at that time. What a cool rebirth!
**Let's get back to the point**.
When I started working on **Electronic Patterns**, I honestly thought I would finish it pretty quickly. I already had 4 or 5 potential compositions and I was very inspired. So the process was moving along normally. Then fate intervened, first with the definitive failure of my studio monitors. The crowdfunding campaign launched to be able to replace them only allowed me to collect a hundred euros in total. Initially, I had planned an amount of 250 euros (I will explain later why it failed.. unprepared). So I revised downwards the purchase price of the replacement of my monitors. I bought **Presonus Eris 3.5** monitors, for about 90 euros. These monitors of 2x 25 Watts are of very good quality by the way. This power is more than enough for Home Studio work, and Presonus is a very famous brand, mainly for its **Studio Live** mixers. So.. Quality/Price, I recommend them! https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/electronic-patterns-album-gofundme-bdce8c77 https://www.thomann.de/fr/presonus_eris_e3.5.htm
Then, with hindsight, I can now conclude that this health crisis slowed down the project very strongly, and even stopped it for a while. Unconsciously, the mood was altered. I was no longer in the original vibes. I started to go in circles, not knowing or even managing to continue to move forward on the project. I had to completely detach myself from what was happening in the world outside the room where I play and compose music to find the trigger. The desire. The inspiration. I then recorded a new good dozen of potential ideas at the end of the year 2021. And took the necessary step back to have a global vision of this ambitious project. Ambitious, because it will be the most accomplished, I think, already. But also, because the Album will comprise a number of tracks much higher than what I initially published. A duration also superior by the same occasion. I hope to offer you a beautiful journey in this electronic music universe.
This is the artwork concept for the cover, which I created in digital art, and which will probably be the final cover. Very simple, but evocative with the title of the album.
I fell very ill at the end of December 2021 until mid January 2022 with a severe pneumonia which affected me enormously physically, and thus psychologically. I am still slowly recovering.
Finally, at the beginning of February, I took stock of what I was going to do for 2022, and I naturally started working on **Electronic Patterns** again. I have all the necessary tracks. That's a good first step! If I add one or two more, that will be a bonus. Who knows! To get back in the mood, I spent two days listening to the raw material over and over at the end of last week. I have a logbook with lots of notes and ideas. I can now move on to recording the missing parts of the different pieces for those that need it, and then to mixing. Then will come another phase of global re-listening. Mixing again. Then, if everything is OK: the Mastering! A release in March or April 2022 would be judicious. https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/in-the-process-of-9569b1e5

Memories from childhood..
Hey friends, I hope you are having a beautiful sunday! In peace. :0)
Day 4. (Day 3). https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/making-some-music-nft-0d324836
As far back as I can remember, which is quite a long time ago since I'm already well into my fifties, the first memory with **music** goes back to when I was a very young child. I realize now that it is not so easy to remember these things so far back. But there are events that mark you. For life!
At the end of the school year, we used to prepare a dance show for a party that lasted two days, Saturday and Sunday. In June, at the end of school. In France, this is called "La fête des écoles". Maybe in other countries, yours, this event also exists. I remember that we used to practice assiduously throughout the year for this show. Expected as much by the children as by the parents! And all the townspeople for that matter. The big square of the city was full of people, with animations and rides, games, pancakes... and "Barbapapas"! I have this particular memory of one year when we all had to dance dressed in beautiful red traditional Mexican costumes, accompanied by beautiful, lively Mexican music. The girls as well as the boys. Each boy had a girl as a partner for some specific moves. Obviously in the limit of the possible pairs. Too bad for the others.. hihi. This Mexican song is a very known air. I am trying to remember this melody right now, but I can't. Maybe it will come back to me one day. :0) I remember we were dancing and jumping around in a crazy farandolle, all holding hands and with an elaborate choreography. I think this is my first great memory that is surrounded by music. The party, the joy, the laughter, and that music that carries us along!
Probably my fav electronic artist, **Lisa Bella Donna**. **Ascension**. So talented! BerlinSchool..
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fhF5nXsyJU
Then there is this Christmas morning, when I unwrap my present at the foot of the Christmas tree, I discover with surprise a small brown electric organ. A **Bontempi** organ for children. Just some basic sounds, but it was fun and very intriguing. Monophonic, maybe even. I don't remember it. I just tried to play known melodies: "Au clair de la lune", "Frère Jacques". The musical ear already. I wasn't allowed to play it very often. Alway ask before. I played it in the living room, where this organ sat like a trophy on a large piece of furniture. It was a very frustrating thing. Haha ha. To not do what I wanted, when I wanted. I quickly abandoned it. Maybe for this reason. The prohibition to touch it without permission. And not having it in my bedroom. It's mostly that frustration that I remember about this first instrument. But. Don't worry, nothing traumatic, haha.
I have a brother and a sister. We have all 7 years between. A strange coincidence, or a funny fact! My sister have a Vinyl Player. And when she was not working, she was listening music all the day. Sometimes very loud. I remember being fascinated by **Abba** voices. I really loved that. **Waterloo** was playing on a loop. I felt something special in these voices harmonies. For sure. It's a strong memory too, in relation to the music. The arrangement of the voices. How they were blending together, to form one. So when she was leaving and I knew she wouldn't be back right away, I would turn on the Vinyl Player and I would also listen to Abba on repeat. My dad listened things like Motown music and stuff like that, Flamenco, Spanish gypsy music. Some french singer, etc. I used to play those LPs too. **But these Abba voices is a great memory!** It is a very important one on the fact that I finally became a musician. Then composer. And song writer. That's for sure!
From "**Relics**", my first **Solar Phasing** EP. The track is called: **Ancient World**. https://solarphasing.bandcamp.com/album/relics

In fact, maybe I should have started there, but my mother sang from morning to night, very beautiful songs that she knew by heart and her voice was magnificent, with a perfect pitch! So right! She was a seamstress and sewed all the time, for us and for others. A true artist! She would draw a pattern, cut the pieces, and have the garment ready for you in no time. It was always beautiful. There were always people at home who came for her sewing. On her old **Elna** sewing machine. All the while singing! No need for a radio. All those melodies put you in a good mood. She sang so well. :0)
And then... **that moment that changed my life forever**!
Every time I visited this old lady with my mother, we drank tea, good tea, with little butters, and there was this piano in the living room. This piece of wood that fascinated me. With the cover of the keys always closed. They were chatting, about everything and nothing. A friendly weekly ritual to spend some quality and cool time together. And I always turned around the piano. And one day, finally, she told me: "*You want to play it? Go.*". With a big smile. I go. I opened it and pressed a key of this real big and beautiful piano. The sound spread in the room with a natural reverberation. An harmonic wave surounded me. In a long decay. And.. **A Brand New World**! Opened! I'm talking a little about this magical moment in this publication. It is that day I knew I wanted to make music. I knew I wanted to discover and learn what was this magical portal that opened. Once back at home, I said "**Mum.. I want to make music! I want to play piano**". And I started learning music at the music school town very quickly after that. It's a lifetime, until now. Learning and experimenting. https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/this-is-how-it-all-started-when-time-stopped-5f056926
The continuation a next time.. These memories are all linked about why I became musician/composer.
I decided to give myself this Sunday quietly. To do nothing. With my family. Not to saturate on my music. I'll start again on Monday, early in the morning. Fresh. I worked well this Saturday, I think. Concretely. After two days of re-listening to the whole project. I moved some equipment, set up some other things I'll need, I'm well set up for the rest.
I hope you enjoy reading me as much as I enjoy writing these blogs. Friends, see you soon. Much love. ! :0)
