[Sunday Music] Let's Rock! Hello Friends, Here we are for a new **Sunday Music**! A rock'n roll one! **Late 60's early 70's**. Bands will change the history of Rock 'n Roll! The emergence of a harder rock. Much harder, even. The beginnings of a "**Hard Rock**". It remains Rock'n Roll for my part. Simply Rock 'n Roll. Let's start with a track from **Led Zeppelin**'s first eponymous album. The title **Dazed And Confused,** here played on stage with a large part of improvisation. For those who know the original version of the track, you will notice that the band takes us here to other horizons with long parts totally improvised. Many parts. The use of the bow is a master stroke. They clearly have fun to make us travel so much their professionalism is at the paroxysm of their talent. The guitar and the voice juggle on questions answers or on duets of rales. The drums and the bass remain unperturbed in the groove during the long solos of Jimi Page, very inspired. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Led_Zeppelin **Dazed And Confused** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQgYn23Xvck **Dazed and Confuse**d was not originally written by **Led Zeppelin**, but by the American singer-songwriter **Jake Holmes** on his first Album. It was rearranged in the **Jimmy Page** style, first with the **Yardbirds** and then finally with **Led Zeppelin**. Their first album simply titled **Led Zeppelin** was released on January 12, 1969 on **Atlantic Records**. It is now an integral part of the history of Rock'n Roll and music. Another band that worked to democratize a Rock 'n Roll a little harder is obviously **Black Sabbath**. Just like Led Zeppelin, no need I think, to present this electric quartet now mythical! A few weeks ago I shared an Ozzy song here from his solo career, but **Ozzy Osbourne** started singing with **Black Sabbath** in 1968. Formed in Birmingham (UK), Black Sabbath is composed by **Tony Iommi**, the guitarist, **Ozzy Osbourne**, the singer, **Bill Ward** on drums, and **Geezer Buttler** on bass. Based on the principle of making music that would "scare", Black Sabbath is one of the pillars that contributed to the evolution of the rock sound. Incisive, repetitive riffs, supported by a good bass/drums groove, and Ozzy's voice recognizable between thousand at the first sentence. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Sabbath https://read.cash/@SolarPhasing/sunday-music-songs-for-a-sunday-29a68a5a **War Pigs** is the opening song from the band's second studio album called: **Paranoid** (1970). **War Pigs** Live in **Paris** at **the Olympia** in 1970. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3b6SGoN6dA And finally to contrast a bit, and end on something cooler. Soaring. The privately filmed concert by **Pink Floyd** in **Pompeii** in 1972. The complete performance! We will certainly come back to Pink Floyd in the coming weeks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwgirj9ECFA Hope you will enjoy this **Sunday Music**! We'll see you next Sunday for an electronic Sunday Music this time. No idea what will be on the program, though. Wishing you all a peaceful Sunday!
