The Serenity Path I'm catching up. I have tons of things to release and finalize musically. This year, 2025, has been particularly difficult. My wife fell ill, very seriously ill.. then cancer took her last year in 23 days, once she was in the hospital. The mother of my six children, the love of my life. 38 years together. A crushing blow. Every morning, I ask myself what the purpose of my life is now. But I'm moving forward.. I'm holding on. There are the children, of course, all grown up and independent. And music. It's lifesaving. I live alone now. It was hard for the last children who were still at home with us to stay. The memories haunt every room. Every object.. Yes, every morning.. My mother passed away on July 13th. What can I say? Life. I finally rolled up my sleeves and told myself: I have to move forward with my projects. I spent weeks and months there, as if I were outside of time. I still feel like I'm wandering aimlessly. In this solitude, if you don't constantly occupy your mind, you sink. So.. Chronicles of Vvardenfell Chronicles of Vvardenfell* I was released.. by order of the Emperor of Tamriel Uriel Septim VII. I have no idea why. I was transported by ship to Sayda Neen, where I disembarked to complete the paperwork so that I could finally move freely again. I was then recommended to carry reports to the city of Balmora, to a certain Caius Cosades. I was given a weapon, a dagger, and some Septims. Enough to cover some expenses. I won't get very far with this amount, but it's a good start. I'll pay a visit to this Caius Cosades, but I have other plans in mind. I'm going to live freely! My first thought was that I found it picturesque. At night all cats are gray. I don't really have a choice. I have to make up for it. Wandering around the streets while scouting the place, I finally found a merchant's shop open, even at night. Hopefully with lower purchase prices and higher sales. I had to find a place to rest, a bed to recover from the long journey that had brought me here. A personal analysis of the Music Blockchain Come to think of it, I came to the world of cryptocurrencies through music. I was part of a community of artists and musicians who exchanged a lot. I'm still part of it, but I haven't really been active lately. We shared our own compositions or the opportunities to seize, to discover, various information on the subject of music. This community was founded to help independent artists: **Atom Collector Records**. And then I was following these discussions about the possibility of monetizing music with cryptocurrencies with concrete things that were emerging. That was really positive. As I am curious and open. So I started too! It was first necessary to understand how the blockchain and cryptocurrencies in general worked. To discover that each blockchain had its own network, its own wallet for some of them, its own operation, etc.. That some were easier to use than others. A vast universe! Anyway, that's the impression I have. The democratization of cryptocurrencies with each passing day will probably help things to happen naturally. But it's not yet for tomorrow morning.. Rock Studio Sessions Recording - Part 1 I've been very busy these last few weeks on the music side. Not only as **Solar Phasing**. We had an appointment at the studio very early in the afternoon with Stéphane, our drummer. At about 2pm, we arrived with a car filled to the brim with equipment, mostly drums. This is the objective of the day, to assemble the drums, place the microphones, make a first recording of the drums, listen to the recording, correct the placement of the microphones, fine-tune the setting of the various elements, etc... until we are satisfied with the result. Our bass player, Jimmy and our singer Patrick will arrive at 5:30 pm, in order to make a global take of the sound. All together! After a good coffee with a good local pear hooch, we started. Stéphane is in a cabin isolated from the sound. Me too, with my guitar. Eric the sound engineer and owner of **Eloïse Studio** worked hard to get everything ready for the arrival of the other musicians. Conscientiously and very professionally. I let them do their work. I didn't want to get in their way. So I quietly set up my guitar gear in a second sound cabin. And they did it easily. Perspective from my sound cabin. These are amp models, with effects, in pedal or rack models. I use the official Fenders one. And some other brands like Moller (T-Rex) or Fulltone (OCD), for the overdrive. The sound is really good! My patches have been worked on and refined in rehearsal. I know it will sound good. The advantage of this technology is to be able to save instantly the slightest setting. I control my effects and banks with my MIDI controller pedalboard, the **Behringer FCB-1010**, also connected to the external sound card, a **Presonus Studio 24c**. It's a radical choice, I assume it. I did my last gig on December 10th with this equipment too, obviously plugged into a tube amp head and a big Vintage speaker. & I've already done it in the past. I finally decided to do without my pedals (hardware). It's been two or three months already. Live sound captured by a fan on our last December gig. Relaxed! :0)) We left this first session very happy. We had already made a lot of progress! It was not said that we would be able to record some tracks. And we did. I just had to get the files on the Cloud to listen to them before the next one. As a reminder, the first step is to record all the drum tracks of the 10 songs that will be in this first album. All the takes are done live from the beginning to the end. The important thing is the Drums tracks, even if we also record the Bass, the Guitar, and the singer's Voice. Keep track of it.. Today, I spent part of the afternoon saving all of my articles on ReadCash. Still, it was a long job. To simplify the process, I visited all of my articles from the first to the last using the "print" function, then "save as pdf". It also allowed me to re-read many of them. There is material, even if I am not generally satisfied. Some articles could be reworked later because they have a solid base. Several could also be compiled to give a new one much denser and more complete. Others are facts at a specific time, a feeling of the moment, or even remarks on the evolution of my music at a given period, sometimes rants, ideas... not bad that ended up in a vacuum sidereal. It does not matter, having it is already good. Souvenirs. Discoveries. From matter to. 140 blog posts and 37 small publications. Whatever happens I now keep an archive of it all. I will now only need to save after each publication. I remain confident about the future of ReadCash. I am certain that this is a period of transition, of reflection, and that this adventure cannot end with the site being taken offline. I hope so, anyway. But as we are not certain of anything, in this way I am certain that this matter will not go into oblivion.
