In this world full of cruelties and uncertainties, one of the most vulnerables are humans. People seem to take advantage to others when they saw your weakness or observed your innocence about what's the real deal.

The other day, I watched a film on Netflix and it gave me so much lessons. Sometimes, watching movies and series also give us the benefit of the doubt. We somehow end up having realizations and reflect on our own, and I admit that watching one could really have an impact to me.

And in the film "Hotel Mumbai", I saw another side of life — the manipulation among the people. Actually, if you have watched this too, you will tell me that it is about survival, bravery, and humanity. You will look at the side where people helped the others to be safe.

But on the other hand, I looked upon the side where the people who did the terror attacks were manipulated by someone. They were promised to get a bunch of money, and will be given to their families. And some thought they're doing it out of greatness, and even mentioning the grace of God.

But, how can people manipulate us too easily?

• We are an easy target during our downfalls and rough days.

Sometimes instead of helping us or lending a hand, some people would take advantage to our downfalls. There are others who want us to do things that will only benefit them, and since we are on our rough days, we could easily say yes without a decent decision-making.

• Being emotionally unstable can open doors to others and try to influence us.

There are days when we are unstable both mentally and emotionally. And sometimes it is the chance of others to influence us in doing stuffs that we did not like to do — whether illegal or immoral.

I remember hearing stories like this one as well. They have experienced doing bad things because they were influenced by their friends, or someone close to them.

• Some people try to look at our weaknesses and use them against us.

Humans have weaknesses too. We are not born perfectly fine. And sometimes, people try to threaten or intimidate us using those things. In some situations, they would use the card of hitting our core through our weaknesses — so they could easily enter our heads.
