It's my second time eating this bread and it's really yummy. I just don't mind the gluten and lactose in it. 😂. It's crunchy on the outside, filled with chocolate pudding. I got lost and felt hungry while finding the shop for food supplements, so I bought this one. It's almost 5 in the afternoon, so I need to look for a place to settle and eat a proper meal. It took me a long time to decide whether to pursue my plan today or not because of the weather. I woke up at 7:30 and checked outside, it was gloomy and I was demotivated to go out. But here I am, quite late already to see the boat racing competition. It is still cloudy but already fine.. I'll probably just wander around the beach if there isn't competition anymore. I was waiting for the dragon boat racing competition,but I didn't see any signs.. So I just roamed around the beach.. Later in the afternoon, different groups were shouting and partying at the waterfront. As I went near them, they were the participants of the competition because of their trophies and clothes.. Where the hell did they hel the competition? Hayst.. That was the main reason why I came here.. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the view..

Check out what happened to me last Sunday. The supposed to be watching the championship competition of dragon boat racing become wandering around the town. But at the end of the day, I settled on the beach and just relaxed while watching people enjoying the place and calming water. Today is Cheung Yung Festival here in HK, probably in China too... It's the day when people are visiting the graves of their families, clean them, and offer prayers. It's similar to our All Souls Day every November. And another holiday for me. I might just gonna stay in bed the whole afternoon. I'm lazy to walk around today. So far, so good. I had a long sleep. Beach and ice cream.. Do you know that this ice cream truck, Mobile Softee has been operating in Hong Kong since 1970. That's so long. I actually have tasted it and it's just the same as vanilla ice cream in McDonald. Lol. But it's softer and yeah, yummy. This truck is roaming around HK. There are a lot actually. Who loves scented candles? These are mine. The lavender scent helps me relax at night. I'm making my entry to HL and the topic is about staying fit. Some want flat stomachs. There is an easy exercise to achieve a firm and flat stomach. You don't need to go to the gym. Have you heard about stomach vacuum? This helps strengthen our abdominal muscles. I'm doing this by deep inhaling in my nose, then slowly exhaling while holding my belly. I guess it's effective for me 😅 been doing this for a long time. Not perfect, but well enough to show off, haha.

Happy weekend everyone. It's nice to see our kumquat bonsai tree growing well. Some fruits are now ripped and are ready to harvest. Some don't allow people to eat this kind of fruit. This is what I like about primary schools here in Hong Kong. They encourage students to do exercises on weekends, to stay fit and healthy. This is one of the reasons why a lot of kids here are fit and slim. That's aside from the food they are eating. I experimented a new dish again. I was supposed to cook an eggplant omelet, but I don't like frying it, so I cooked it inside the oven instead. The slices of eggplant were coated with egg and seasoned with cinnamon(😅 just wanna try), salt, and Italian herbs. A minute before I took it out, I garnished it with sesame seeds for more flavor. I had a good afternoon today and had a little walk at Central Market. It was my first time visiting the market and it is such a great place. One of the shops is selling Halloween props. This creepy granny and the dragon fighting with the anaconda are cool. I just went to Central to buy some supplies and food. Back to reality again tomorrow. Why does Sunday seem so short? 😅

Sometimes, I wished to be like a bird, free, can fly high, and not afraid of falling. Even how strong we are, at some point, we become weak and become afraid of flying. Sesame balls in ginger soup, who wants? This food is famous every Mid-Autumn festival and Chinese New Year. The round-shaped sesame balls made from glutinous flour symbolize togetherness and family reunion in Chinese. It's similar sense as why Filipinos are serving sticky food every New Year.
