The village health volunteer keeps contact me to follow up my symptoms at every morning and late afternoon as I am being classified as low risk profile from 35 new cases of a new cluster of Covid – 19 nearby where I live. One thing that I am so happy to live life in Thailand is there are plenty of tropical fruits to enjoy all year round. Probably 1-2 weeks, these bunch of barracuda mangoes from my backyard garden will keep me busy for variety of menus. Normally I will eat once it is well ripe. The left over will make it to mango jam, dried stick of mango and mango puree that I can keep it longer for all year round. We are Asian and love to enjoy both of unripe and ripe mango. When I moved in to my current home probably 6 years ago, I planted so many fruit trees, herbs and trees for shading, wind screen and etc. No fancy ornamental plants or pot plants as I only stayed home for 1-2 weeks and then left home for travel again. The ugly fruit of my life – Bergamot tree and its fruit is my essential for daily living. For me, banana is staple fruits to enjoy for my daily consumption. When you get older, age-related long-sight or presbyopia is inevitable. Even it is not a disease but you find it more difficult to see or focus on near objects especially when reading. At each day, I normally spend my day on computer screen for longer a period of time. Another hot sunny day of 37 °C in the late morning, I have a quick walk around my garden to enjoy the beautiful yellow flower of pumpkin. I only provide moderate watering without weeding, those pumpkin seeds on ground can strive to survive and manage to have flower buds. I am not sure that pumpkin flower bud is male or female flower. I am so happy once I see my cats get along well to each other. There is only one cat in my family that now have a strong sense of territory and sexually active instincts to fight, bite, chase after to expel their younger brother away. Sometimes it is quite heartbreaking that after you take a bath for your cats and then they will enjoy to play and rolling around on the dirt and dust.
