Chicken and Potato Soup - I was in hurry this morning to go outside for searching mission of my lost cat "Black Eyes" as it was forecasted that it may be rainfall in the afternoon. Only had some quick bite of breads, banana and soy milk for breakfast. Even I had only light breakfast, I don't feel any hungry. So today lunch will be a Chicken and Tomato Soup that potato will be my source of carbs to fill me the energy during the day. I use chicken thighs with bone for today. Cut chicken thighs with bone in chunk then clean with water and rinse off. ฺ Boil the water, add some seeds of white pepper grain, lightly crushed of 5 garlic cloves and 1 crushed root of coriander as it might help reducing any stinky smell from chicken. Add sliced onion, sliced of carrot, sliced stalk of Chinese celery and chunk of potatoes then bring the water to boil. Add the chunk of cut chicken thighs once the water is well boiled, do not stir to avoid blending any stinky smell of chicken with soup and cover with lid for well cook (probably 10-15 minutes depends on the size of cut chicken). Add sliced tomatoes, remove the air bubble and dirt from the soup to get clear soup. Seasoning with pinch of salt and light soy sauce then turn off the heat, top up with white pepper and garnish with Chinese celery leaves. There are so many ways to cook Chicken and Tomato Soup according to your delicacy preferences. This is my style and let's enjoy. #FoodPhotography
