The weather is extremely hot of around 38 °C for 2-3 days, finally I got a thunder rain for couple hours. The weather is cooler after the rain. This is not only great for me but also my plants and veggies in the garden as well. Before I go out again for evening searching mission for my lost cat "Black Eyes", I decide to cook my light dinner for clear soup of tender leaves of Ivy Gourd with egg tofu and shitake mushroom. I use dried shitake mushroom so I need to soak it to soften before slice into pieces. Bring the water to boil then add half of instant stock cube. Add sliced dried shitake mushroom, bunch of young tender leaves of Ivy Gourd and sliced of egg tofu. Seasoning it with salt and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Top up with pepper, turn off the heat and it is ready to enjoy. Young tender leaves of Ivy Gourd are collected from my garden where it is creeping along with Gac Fruit and Passion Fruit. This soup is great to eat with steamed rice. #FoodPhotography

Enjoy your food 😊
Million thanks my friend. :-)
What a tasty meal. That shitake mushroom brings so much flavor I'm sure. Btw, I'm waiting for the rain. It's so hot in here.
