The ugly fruit of my life – Bergamot tree and its fruit is my essential for daily living. Bergamot peel is used for making Thai curry paste, the leaves also can be used in many ways such as adding to the spicy soup (Tom Yam) for its unique aroma or slice it into small pieces to garnish in variety of menus. Dried bergamot leaf is my fancy to deep fried and eat along with any meat deep fried menus especially fried fish. Even my home is well gated but I love to plant the bergamot tree along the fence line that adjacent to nearby neighbors. With the spike thorn along the branch of bergamot tree is a kind of primary protection from stranger. The fruit itself is the best for home refreshment deodorant for any bad odor especially in the bathroom or toilet. Squeeze it for juice fill in with spray bottle for quick home deodorant. Cigarette smoking smell or newly painted room odor will be got rid of with bergamot fruit, 10-20 fruits or more according to the room size then squeeze for its juice with some water and left it with fruit and juice for overnight. The rough texture of bergamot fruit is not that beauty. But the benefits of bergamot tree are from head to toe. For anyone that never see its fruit, but you are already experiences in other forms of its rich in essential oil and strong scent of perfume with medicinal properties such as Earl Grey tea, high end perfume, anti dandruff shampoo and etc. #MyGarden
