Money: A Trigger to Both Good and Evil **Money itself is nothing** but the value that people place on it has nothing to do with its physical value. We can say money can’t buy happiness but it can buy goods and services which can give us satisfaction and that’s what money is all about. https://www.pexels.com/photo/100-us-dollar-banknotes-3483098/ We use **money as a medium of exchange** for it allows us to trade goods and services. Money is also considered as the **most important commodity** in any person’s life, and overtime, it became a *commodity that controls most aspects of human existence*, ***both for good and evil.*** We all know that no man is an island, therefore a person couldn’t provide everything for himself. We all need to acquire some goods and services from other people. Nowadays, we can achieve all those if we have money but before money even existed, let's have this brief history about a system of exchange called **barter system** which is also the **first stage to monetary development.** Barter system allows us to swap goods for goods, services for services, goods for services, and services for goods. There’s a reciprocal exchange that is usually bilateral but can also be multilateral which made the system complicated. And that results to the abandonment of the system. It is hard to look for someone who have what you want and at the same time also willing to have what you can offer. For instance, a fisherman needs rice but the person who have rice wants meat. So for the fisherman to have rice, he needs to look first for someone who has meat that wants fish and once he already have the meat, that’s when he can exchange it for rice. *It’s complicated right?* And it can also be **time consuming**. Also, another reason why barter system is such an inconvenient, it’s because **goods and services can have unequal values.** An exchange of car for a mobile phone isn’t fair at all. We also can’t divide the goods so that it can be matched to the value of other goods that we can use to swap for it. If 3 shirts is equivalent to one book, and if the man has only one shirt, we can’t cut the books into chapters so that it’ll be equal to one shirt. The barter system was completely abandoned so another medium of exchange was developed. From **commodity money**, people starts using **precious metals** such as *gold, silver and copper* but it results to another inconvenience because it can be **very heavy to carry**. A lot of development happened until the metals were turned to **coins**, **banking** also emerged, until **paper bills** were issued and now we have our **fiat currency,** as well as **other currencies** which we can be use to buy goods and services. Enough with the brief history, let’s now move on to the **significance of money** and ***how money can trigger both good and evil.*** As to what I mentioned above, money is nothing more than a medium of exchange but **money can buy goods and services** which people really want. *Without money, our needs and wants cannot be satisfied.* So money is indeed important and there’s nothing wrong for wanting and finding ways to have more money. Money can’t buy us happiness but the money can buy the things that can bring us happiness. The existence of money can **maximize our satisfaction**. Money also **determines the economic growth of a country**. The increase in savings and investments means more economic growth for us. We use money here to tip comments and articles and that's a good thing. **People use money to help others**. In times of need or in times of calamity, people usually do fund raisings to give it as a donation for the people who needs it. Private citizens and companies also donates money to charities and foundations. Money can be use for helping and it's good. *But we also cannot deny the fact that money have its negative side.* I was in a bible quiz bee back then when a question about **what is the root of all evil** was asked. I confidently answered **money** but I was surprised when I was told that my answer was wrong. We’re you surprised too that it was wrong? Correct answer should be the “**love**” of money. **Money itself isn’t the root of all evil; it’s our love for it**. And we all know how love can turn as mad and make us do things. We, humans, have the tendency to want more and more. We have unending desires to have more and to acquire more and when those desires become too *excessive*, it can **cloud our moral judgment.** Manufacturers sometimes want to earn more so they are sacrificing the quality of their products. Businesses are cheating to their income report so that they could pay lower taxes. The amount of money we have is also being used as a judgment for a person’s social status giving those people on the higher class to have some kind of entitlement. Having money can also result to us being **materialistic**. We just bought a new model of mobile phone but when a new model was released, we’ll want to have that one. Sometimes, companies just give donations to charities and foundations so that they'll be levied with a lower tax. They give money and it's good, but their intention is evil. Ate @Ruffa also have an article about money and she discussed in there how money can turn us into a monster. Give her article a visit by clicking this link --> Turning into a Monster - It's all about the Money! Money! Money! https://read.cash/@Ruffa/turning-into-a-monster-its-all-about-the-money-money-money-5a17359a Final thoughts... **Money is essential, it's a must.** But it can really be a trigger for us to do both good and evil. There are people who tends to give more as they have more but there are also people who were eaten by their love for money so instead of giving more, their greediness to acquire more is the one winning in their system. Loving money is okay for this is the medium we use to buy the things that we want which can give us satisfaction but let's not let money rules our system and cloud our moral judgment. We will always have the desire to have more but let's be careful not to compromise our values and dignity as a person. Always use money in the right way. Earn it through hardwork and spend every bits of it wisely. **And let us always ought to make money as a trigger for us to do good, not the otherwise.** **Read these to start with #Club1BCH** **Club1BCH - The Genesis** https://read.cash/@PVMihalache/club1bch-the-genesis-dbb27252 **Club 1BCH** https://read.cash/@Eybyoung/club-1bch-df96508b **What Is #Club1BCH?** https://read.cash/@bmjc98/what-is-club1bch-914bdccd **Club1BCH is Up!** https://read.cash/@Eybyoung/club1bch-is-up-fbf69cde ***Hey folks! Goals to Grind for This Month of July Hey folks! Who's as excited as me on every beginnings of the month? For those who's already a user in here for a few months now, making goals on every beginning of the month is just a normal thing. First week of the month and you'll see lots of articles about goals and that can be really exciting to read for it is our own way of motivating and pushing ourselves forward so that we'll achieve these certain goals that we are aiming for. I'm already a 5 months user in here but I have only made an article about my goals on the month of March and April for the reason that I was busy with my studies for the past 2 months. So plotting this goals article is kind of unfamiliar for me again. But I really want to work with specific goals this month so let's just see how it goes. https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/monthly-bch-goals-march-e15372a0 https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/monthly-bch-goals-april-47ff9e64 Since I'm making a new goal, first things first, I have already prepared and organized my wallets for easy monitoring of income. I have my wallet in here at *read.cash*, and since it's not advisable that we contain huge amount in here, I have another wallet named *read.cash monthly* so that I can also monitor how much did I earn from read.cash on the whole month. I also have 2 wallets from *noise.cash*, one is to monotor my earnings daily, and the other is obviously for the whole month. Another thing, since I have already organized my wallets earlier, I also took that opportunity to finally write down my seed phrases on a paper, and I also have it printed together with the qr code. Secure your funds by backing up your seed phrases. It's our only key for our wallet. Also, never ever upload it online. Don't send it to yourself on any social media platform, don't email it to yourself, and don't upload it on your google drive. It's not safe. Anyways, without further ado, let's proceed to my goals for this month. read.cash Goals **Published at least 30 articles** First goal and it's already a real challenge. 5 months here and I still haven't did this one. A single article can be so hard to make, can took us fours of typing but since I really want to challenge myself, I'll try my hardest to squeeze my brain to produce its juices so that I can make this possible. I have 31 days to accomplish this one. This article is included in this goal so 29 articles to go! I actually hesitated if I'll really push this one but still decided to go with it so that I can push myself to be more productive and creative. *What do you think with this goal? Can I make this happen?* **Sponsorships** Currently, there are 26 users whom I am sponsoring but I also noticed that some of them are not that active anymore so I am planning to just wait till my payment lasts then I'll remove them on my list of sponsorships. And I'm also planning to offer more sponsorships to encourage more users that there is someone who's supporting them. So I'll be hunting for consistent and interactive users in here in the following days so that I can offer them sponsorships. I may increase the amount I pay to some of my existing sponsorships too for the reason that they deserve it. **Reading Activity** I am quite guilty for reading only a few articles lately. My circle of family in here is getting wider and wider that the spare time I have isn't enough anymore for me to read and comment to their articles. I also want to extend the courtesy to those readers of mine who keeps on supporting me and who keeps on leaving their thoughts on my comment section through visiting their profiles also. But then, time is my greatest enemy in here. I am working right now on our business and it's eating all my time during the day. The only time I can lend my time in here is at 10pm-12mn daily. And more than one hour of that time, I consume to writing my own article. But there's also a saying that if there's a will, there's a way. With proper time management, I know I can make this possible. Since I can't go to each articles one by one, I am thinking to just list down the names of the users whom I will be visiting and then I will just focus to catch up on their articles which I have missed. Let's say I'll visit at least 3 users everyday then I'll allot time to read their articles. Or I can just read whatever it is on my notification and on our group chats and allot time to read as much article as possible. I still don't have a solid plan for this but either way, I will surely give back to you all who's giving me continuous support. I might be late for a little bit but I'll catch up. I will also allot time to explore and read articles from random users whom I don't know. After all, we should always be interactive in here. But for the sake of having a specific goal, I'll set a minimum of **10 articles per day** for me to read. I really wanted to read all of your works but even though I may not able to do it, I'll make sure to read as many articles that I can read that is coming from you folks. noise.cash Goals **Posts** Another thing that I am guilty about is that I am not so active on noise.cash these days. I don't want to reason out my busy schedule anymore, instead, I'll just try to make up for it. I only produced at least 3 posts in there daily and I feel like it's just being monotonous since it's just mostly a post in the morning, during lunch time and before I sleep at night. I will try to produce more quality contents that is not repetitious. Aside from sharing a portion of my life, I will also try to give motivation to people through my posts. **Channel** I also have a channel in there named "Daily Dose of Encouragement" which I was not able to manage for the entire month. From it's channel name, I should at least post in there daily and give encouragement to the users in there. https://noise.cash/c/daily-dose-of-encouragement-kx1p4k91 This month, I'll make sure to keep the channel alive by posting there things than can bring encouragement and motivation to people which is the real purpose of the channel. **Explore** I feel like I haven't done this for ages. Lately, I was only able to reply to the comments on my posts. I barely scroll on my subscription tab and never did I go to the explore tab for the past months. I want to widen my circle so I'll continue to explore on the platform and I'll give my hearts responsibly to all the posts that deserve it. I will also be back to being interactive by commenting on some posts either from my subscription tab or the explore tab. I don't want to be labeled as someone who only posts, leave and wait for tips. I'm not like that. By all possible means. I'll socialize as much as possible. If you'll notice, I didn't put any earning goal first because it's really not all about earnings and second, Rusty is too random so I'm not really expecting that much from it. But I have created organized wallets to monitor my earnings so I'll just update all of you about it probably at the end of this month. **1BCH Goal** I have the whole year to accomplish this goal because that's the time frame I have given to myself so I'm having no pressure with this one. However, I would really love to accumulate this as quickly as possible so consider my article goals as a way to achieve it faster. The market welcomed this month with it being color red so let us take this as an opportunity to earn more BCH for our hodlings. As of the moment, I have a total of **0.70649381 BCH** already. Maybe I'll achieve this goal sooner or later or sooner that I expected. I'll never know. Let's just be surprised when that time came already. This is it for now. I'm claiming for a fruitful month to all of us! ***Thanks for reading this far, and as always, take care. :)*** Read these to start with Club1BCH **Club1BCH - The Genesis** https://read.cash/@PVMihalache/club1bch-the-genesis-dbb27252 **Club 1BCH** https://read.cash/@Eybyoung/club-1bch-df96508b **What Is #Club1BCH?** https://read.cash/@bmjc98/what-is-club1bch-914bdccd **Club1BCH is Up!** https://read.cash/@Eybyoung/club1bch-is-up-fbf69cde

From $20 a month, then it doubles, now it's triple In case that you are wondering what my title is all about, it's my noise.cash journey. And with that dollar sign beside 20, it's obviously about my earnings. Hey folks! It's been more than 5 months since I joined noise.cash and the experience has been great so far. This article's main focus is about the improvement of my income but of course, this won't be complete if I won't share my own experiences by using the platform. I can still remember how did I know about noise.cash and when did I signed up in there. I was just 4 days old user in here when I read an article from **carisdaneym2** about her noise.cash addiction. So me, being a curious cat immediately open a new tab, search for the site, and signed up for an account. Few scroll and I can see that it's kind of similar to another social media platform where I can also post random stuffs and photos. In fact, my third article in here is just about noise.cash and about how I address it as a place where our brains gets to rest. https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/noisecash-a-place-where-your-brain-gets-to-rest-93fbb8bd *As for noise.cash that I discovered just now, it is also perfect for me for I have so many thoughts, random thoughts that needs to get out of my brain. When I think of something, I just have to post it there. I don't need to keep all the things running on my mind. I can let noise.cash be a platform wherein I can pour all of my thoughts and emotions without being crazy during midnight because of all the things running on my mind.* *So if you're like me whose brain can't stop thinking, I highly encourage you to use noise.cash. That platform is really helpful to let go of all the things that you are thinking so that your brain can got its rest.* Above are the 2 paragraphs that I get from my article before and that's exact;ly how I view noise.cash from before. At first, I really thought it's just all about posting and posting as long as I'm not doing anything against the rules so that's what I did. Minimum of 30 posts day, that's how noisy I became. Though I bet that at the very least, only 3 posts out of 30 have a sense at all. I even changed my bio in there before with "***50% trash, 30% random stuffs, 20% motivational***". That was probably the reason why I earned so little in there back then. Well, I don't mind about the income before but seeing the income of others, it makes me wonder why am I only gaining so little amount. First month at noisecash and I barely made $5. Actually, it's just $4 to be exact. So little compared to those who are earning at least $50 monthly. And that's when I realized to slow down a bit with posting such non sense stuffs. 2nd month and instead of just typing and posting what's on my mind, I think about what to post first. That's also the time when I set a goal and that was to earn at least $2o that month. Month of March ends and I was so happy that I was able to reach that goal. The platform itself continues to evolve making steps to eliminate spammers so I became more careful on my content. As the platform gets better and better and so does my income. Next month came where I aimed for $40 and I was so glad I achieved it. From the past months, we welcomed so many change coming from noisecash. Users are becoming more in more each day but sadly, many users who temporarily stopped receiving tips lost their motivation and decided to leave the platform. From what I can see, the algorithm is not 100% accurate and have the tendency to gone wrong but what I know and what I do believe is that all changes that is happening is for the betterment of the platform. From having control with the given tips, to being marked as someone who is at risk for being not eligible, to receiving tips from the hearts, to free tips completely gone, to receiving many hearts which almost doesn't have a value, to receiving hearts with such a high value, and now, I think it's back to normal. Well, this is just for me for I think what I'm getting is more than good enough. *From earning $4 for the whole month to earning the same amount for just a day*. I'm just so glad that as the platform evolves, I was able to keep up with the changes and was able to improve myself also. I'm not saying that I have such a high quality content but I can proudly say that it's all original and all of it are products of my mind. Also, I think that I am doing my part as a responsible user in there for only giving hearts to posts or comments who deserve it, for engaging in the community, for obeying the rules, and for reporting those spammers who's ruining the platform. This month, I usually earn $2-$3 a day and it's already more than enough. I rarely post too. From 30 posts a day from my first month in here, it's now down to almost 3-5 posts a day. Lol. I just said at the beginning of this article that main focus is about my income but I end up sharing more about my experiences. Going back, I have accumulated a total of **$76.06 worth of BCH** this month from noise.cash alone. It is indeed the best platform allowing us to share a portion of ourselves with the opportunity to earn some free BCH on the side. Kudos to all people behind this project for BCH adoption! To those who are still new and those who are struggling in the platform; **Follow the rules** **Engage in the community**, be interactive **Post an original quality content.** There's a lot of tips out there on how you can make one **Never focus on earnings.** This isn't a job. We don't spend here. Be thankful on whatever you can get **Don't leave the platform** just because you got less compared to others. Instead, focus on self improvement. **Don't be a spammer.** Lol Recently, @carisdaneym2 and @dziefem just hosted a mini-contest in there. It is to make a poem for noise.cash and I just love how others have shown their appreciation for the platform through their poem. https://noise.cash/post/lz3v4qvj See the entries by clicking this --> POEMS https://noise.cash/c/poems-v916jkw1 I don't intend to brag in this article. I just want to share how much improvement I get on the following months and I was just so happy that I have to share it. noise.cash has been a part of my everyday life since the past months and I am so grateful for the friendships that I have built in there. https://noise.cash/u/immaryandmerry Appreciation to **Noiseristificationism** fam! Highlights and Realizations From The Book of Genesis *Hey folks! We're already at the end of the month therefore it's also time for my compilations of daily devotion. This article may not be interesting for everyone, I respect the customs of religion and I'm also aware that not everyone is interested on a spiritual kind of article. So I'm really grateful for those who takes time to read this kind of article from me and I do hope that* ***God may be glorified*** *through this sharing of His words that I am doing.* Last month, I have shared my devotions about beginning and ends for I was able to finish reading the book of Revelations, which is the last book for the new testament, then I started reading the book of Genesis which is the first book on the old testament. https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/devotions-on-may-ends-and-beginnings-ff4d61d6 This month, I am still reading the book of Genesis so allow me to share to you the the stories from this book and my realizations about it. The Story of Creation I have already shared this last month but let me share it to you again briefly. I know most of us are already familiar with this story. It's the story of how God created the whole universe in six days and how he took a rest on the seventh day. Click this for the full story. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis%201&version=GNT Truly, God made the universe as well as our descendants. Aside from that, what strikes to me in this story is that how God took a rest on the 7th day. God himself took a break so there's no reason for you not to. We all deserve a break. We all deserve a rest and let's not deprive ourselves with it. Take it easy. Do things one step at a time like how God took His time to create this universe day by day. You're not in a rush. Take one step at a time and know that every step is a progress. Don't be too hard on yourself, take a rest that you deserve. Cain and Abel If you didn't know these two yet, they are the sons of Adam and Eve. Cain was a farmer and Abel was a shepherd. Both of them gave their offerings to God. Cain gave some of the fruits from his farm while Abel gave the fattest portion from some of the firstborn of his flock. God favored Abel more and that made Cain angry to the point that he murdered his own brother. Click this for the full story. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis%204&version=NIV God sees through our hearts and He knows what we desire. Cain gave his offerings just for the sake that he can offer something but Abel offered God the best that he can offer. God doesn't look on what we can offer to Him, what He wants to see is our willingness and our desire to offer the best that we can give to Him. Noah's Ark This is the time when the world was so wicked, when the people became wicked and it made God regret that He made the earth. He decided to wipe everything off from the face of the earth but God find favor in Noah's life. He's a righteous and a faithful man. So when God made up His mind to put an end to all people, He instructed Noah to build an ark so that their families can be spared for He have found Him righteous in that generation. And then Noah do exactly what God said without minding how people think that he's crazy for building an ark for no reason. In the end, God did wiped off the face of the earth by a flood and only Noah and his family survived as well as the every pairs of animals that was on the ark. Click this for the full story. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis%205%3A32-10%3A1&version=NIV I have realized in here that what we need to follow is the Lord. When He told us to do this, we should obey no matter what the people on this world will think about us. After all, God won't tell us to do and won't let us do something that won't be good for us. Let us live based on the standards of the Lord and not by the standards of this world. It is God whom shall we please, not the people from this world. God's Promise to Abraham When Abraham was already 99 years old, the Lord appeared to him and promised that he will make him a father of many nations. But the thing here is that he's already old and his wife, Sarah, was barren. Seems impossible, right? But Abraham remained faithful to God, followed Him, and he hold on to his promises. God fulfilled His promises when Sarah conceived a child, and that's when Isaac was born. Click this for the full story. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis%2017&version=CEV This story proves that when God promised, He will fulfill. And there is nothing that is too hard or impossible for God. This also tells us to just trust God and believe in His promises. It might take time before He fulfills it but let us remain faithful and continue to claim His promises for Him, who promised, is faithful. Abraham's Faith was Tested God fulfilled His promise to Abraham and have given Isaac to him. But God tested the faith of Abraham when He asked him to sacrifice his son, Isaac. It must be so hard for Abraham, he have waited so long to have Isaac but when he already have him, the Lord asked for Isaac to be sacrificed as an offering. But Abraham remained faithful. He does exactly what the Lord says no matter how hard it is for him as a father. Click this for the full story. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis%2022&version=NIV It reminds me that we hold no possession of anything in this world. All came from God and all belongs to Him. What we have is something temporary and let us be prepared to give everything to Him if He asks for it. This also made me realize that we should remain faithful when God put us in trials. Because that's the time when we are being tested and we should past that test. God tested Abraham and he passed. And in the end, God didn't took away Isaac. That's how good He is. He won't actually take things from us, He's just simply testing us. What we should do is to strengthen our faith and just obey on whatever He will said. Esau and Jacob Esau and Jacob are the twins of Isaac. Esau, the firstborn, was favored by his father while Jacob was favored by his mother, Rebekah. Both of them grew up opposite with each other. Esau was a hunter and a brash man while Jacob stays at home and is also soft spoken. One day, Esau went home so hungry that he sold his birthright to Jacob in exchange for a bowl of soup. One day, when Isaac is already old and blind, he was supposed to give his blessings to Esau but Jacob deceived him by introducing himself as Esau so he received the blessing instead. When Esau discovered it, it's already too late. Isaac can't take back the blessing. After that, Jacob went away because of the fear for his brother but 20 years after, he came back and Esau welcomed him with open arms. Click this for the full story. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis%2025%3A19-34&version=NIV Jacob must have started with a wrong foot yet God blessed him. Same for us, just because we are sinners it doesn't mean that we are not worthy of God's blessings. Come to Him in prayer, repent for your sins, ask for forgiveness. He's a very forgiving God. We just have to come for him in repentance and submit our lives to Him, and He will definitely forgive us. He will welcome us with open arms, just like how Esau welcomed Jacob when he came back to their land. Right now, I'm still not yet done with the book of Genesis and there are still lots of stories to tell like the story about **Joseph the dreamer.** I might share those stories next month once I'm done with it. The above stories might already be familiar to you but there's still a lot to learn from it even though we know it already. It's because every time that we will read the bible, it is possible that we can have different impression about it compared to last time. Anyway, what I shared above are my own views about it so feel free to share your own interpretations, views and opinions on the comment section below. :) If you haven't read it yet and you're interested, here are the links for my other compilation of daily devotions on the past months: Devotions on May: Ends and Beginnings https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/devotions-on-may-ends-and-beginnings-ff4d61d6 **APRIL: A Compilation of Daily Devotions**  https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/april-a-compilation-of-daily-devotion-855496b6 **MARCH: Finding my Purpose through Daily Devotion**  https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/finding-my-purpose-through-daily-devotion-bff1abd5 **FEBRUARY: A Compilation of Daily Devotions**  https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/february-a-compilation-of-daily-devotions-fe2934f7 **JANUARY: A Compilation of Daily Devotions**  https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/january-a-compilation-of-daily-devotions-fa658410 Thanks for reading this far, and as always, take care. :)

Room 804 - A Short Story Annoyed from the lack of sleep, I finally get up after snoozing my alarm for the nth time. I sit on my bed, grab my phone, then I was horrified as I saw the time. Geez! I have an 8am class and it's already quarter to 8. I immediately get my towel and go straight to the bathroom and showered so briskly that I don't know if I really did shower. Then I put on my uniform, comb my hair a bit, grab my bag, go outside my boarding house, and I called a tricycle so that I can go to the University faster. By the time I arrived on our college building, I am already 10 minutes late. I entered the building, went up the stairs, but suddenly stopped between room 803 and 804. *When is our classroom again?* It's just the first week of classes and I still don't memorize my schedule. I also can't see my block mates because the classroom has no windows on the hallway side. So I get near the front door, took a peek on the small glass portion of the door and saw that the professor is familiar. *Oh, I knew him!* That's what I thought so I proceed to the back door, then quietly opened it so that I can enter the room. But the door seems to not like to cooperate with me because it made a creaking sound and that's why I caught everyone's attention. I look up to them and becomes more embarrassed when I noticed the they aren't my block mates. Gosh, my face literally turned to red because of so much embarrassment. I just said my sorry to the professor then I went out the door as quickly as I can. That was so dumb of me to not know my own schedule and to wake up so late argh. Next day, I received friend request on Facebook and a notification on my messenger account. A guy from the other block messaged me. He's also the one who sent me the friend request which I accepted since I kind of know him because we're taking the same course. *He said hi, I replied hello.* *He'll constantly chat good morning and good night and I replied the same.* He's actually fun to talk to. A perfect distraction from my past relationship. To be honest, the reason why I'm not myself the past few days is because I was still thinking of my ex boyfriend. We were together since we're high school but we drifted apart before college when he decided to pursue his studies in the City. At first, I actually supported him because that's his dream but then, I guess, long distance relationship isn't really for me. He got his own life now and I'm stuck here. I was broken but this guy from the other block makes me happy. His classes was during the morning and mine is in the afternoon. We sometimes eat lunch together after his classes and before I attend to mine. I am really enjoying his company. Chatting continues, we also constantly say hi and hello whenever we'll see each other on our building. Then there's this one time that I was annoyed for going into classes only to know that our professor wouldn't make it to class that day, I saw him sitting on a shed, waiting for a jeepney, probably on his way home too. He must've sensed my bad mood so he asked me why and I told him the reason for my annoyance. A bus suddenly stopped in front of the shed and then he asked me if I have plans for that day and when I told him no, the next thing I know, we were already riding the bus on the way to the mall. We watched a movie in the cinema that day. It was such a spur of the moment but it made me so happy. I truly enjoyed that day with him and I also enjoyed the following days when we became officially together. *We're happy. He's the sweetest and also the funniest.* Time flies so fast and we're already done on our first year of college. We enrolled together on our second year. The first semester ended and our relationship is sailing smoothly. Second semester comes and that's when *pandemic happened*. We were forced to go back on our own provinces. At first it's okay since the class suspension was just for 2 weeks. But those 2 weeks become months, until the school year already ended. I had it bad with my previous long distance relationship and I'm afraid that the same thing could happen to us. But I keep reminding myself that he's different, that it's different with him but as days passed by, I could feel that we're drifting apart. I did try to hold on... hoping that on our 3rd year, face to face classes will resume and we will got to see each other again. But that didn't happen. What happened is that we just drifted apart, lost contact to each other, and just like that, it's all gone. I don't even know who's at fault but I don't blame him with anything. We didn't see each on our 3rd year even online because we're not from the same class. 4th year happened, still pandemic, and what we had was just online graduation. We both finished college and since then, I haven't heard any news about him. As for me, I worked in the city after college and I worked so hard to achieve my dreams. And when I think that I'm already successful enough, I planned to move back in my province and just work there. So when my alma mater offered me a teaching job, I accepted it. *I'm in the front of my class now doing lectures when I was interrupted by a girl whom I think entered the wrong classroom. And it's just so funny how I remembered every memories I have with him that started in this very same classroom where I am standing right now just by seeing the student who entered the wrong classroom.* I already have my own family now and so he does. We were able to have our closure when we both attended the reunion for out batch. We're both happy now but he will always have a special place in my heart because what we had is something amazing, it's a pure bliss and it's just unforgettable. hey @meitanteikudo , here my entry for the 'door' prompt. It's just literal doors thought. Will I get a passing grade with this one? hmm I actually have another article as an entry but I'm still not confident with it, actually this one too but I don't think I'll ever be confident so yeah, whatever. I'll just publish it anyway. This is just me trying hard to make a story. Lol. Anyways, this isn't my story but thanks for reading! And as always, take care. :)

@immaryandmerry

Silly me, childhood memories. I was just sitting, staring out of nowhere, thinking about what to write when I noticed the scars on my knees. It's funny how I can still remember every reasons for it. I was suddenly reminded about those silly days when I was still a child. Looking back, I can say that I had the best childhood experience. Being able to play many street games, being surrounded with lots of friends and doing all crazy stuffs that a kid can do. *How about you? Can you still remember your childhood?* Today, join me as I reminisce some of my childhood memories that I enjoyed the most. And oh, you can also find this article relatable and it can make you reminisce to your own memories as a kid. I can still remember how **bully** I am as a kid. I actually don't remember it but my older sister always tells this story to us. She said that she hears me one time threatening my playmate that I'll hit her if she won't follow me. *"jojombagin kita dyan"* my exact words as to what my sister says. I was taller than kids my age back then so maybe I have the audacity to bully them. I also remember this one time when I was on my 3rd grade, I had a fight with my classmate and I choked her. I don't really remember why did we fight, she probably don't remember it anymore too and we're actually friends until now. I am also kind of **adventurous** as a kid. I fear nothing, I see no risks. I can give my mom a heart attack if she sees how high I can climb the tree. And how I can play tag with my cousins on a tree. I can also hang like a monkey on the tree so that they won't catch me. There's also a river near home and my guy cousins put a hanging rod on a tree so that we can hang in there then we will let go and let ourselves drop in the water. And my mom don't want me swimming on the river so that when she caught me, I'm preparing to run as fast as I can or else she will whip me with her stick. There's also this one time when me and my cousin who's also my best friend are following our other cousins on where they are but it's slightly far so that when we saw a hand tractor passing by, we rode it and when we are about to get off, we have to jump since it won't stop. So my cousin jumped first and her landing is fine. And when it's already my turn, I ended up landing with my both knees. As I get up, both of my knees are bleeding and I got a huge wound on it. I was on my 4th grade that time. It was also the time when I joined the girl scout. We have to sleep on tent and I want to cry as I wake up because my wound stick to my pajamas. Then I had to go hiking on the mud, and that includes crawling to pass the obstacles and I had to do it with my wound, but funny thing is, it didn't even hurt. *So yeah, a story behind my scars.* There's this also one time where I tripped my cousin and so he did the same to me and there, another wound on my knees. I went home crying that time with bleeding knees. Lol I also had a **near death experience** when I was electrocuted by holding the electric wire. It was lunch time when we are playing jackstone on the terrace of my grandma's house. Then my cousin throw the ball of the jackstone too hard and it went to the roof of their house. The elf of my uncle was parked near the house so we climbed its roof trying to look where did the ball went. So I moved and I moved on the roof of the elf until I didn't notice that I was already on the edge of it. I almost fell down on the elf but I mistook the electric wire as a rope so I held on it. The moment I touched it, my other cousins jumped off the elf but while my other cousin, the best friend, is trying to get off the elf, my feet touches her shoulder so both of our bodies wiggled like we're having convulsions or like a seizure. Good thing is that what I accidentally hold wasn't the live wire so I'm still healthy, alive and kicking by now. I also have this scar on my right hand and that's the result of my **laziness**. It was lunch time, my mom is cooking fried rice *(I don't know why we're having friend rice at lunch)* when she asked me to buy an ice at the store. But I'm lazy so I told her to buy the ice instead and I will continue what she's doing. So mom, being so obedient to me *(jk)* followed what I said. I was mixing the rice when my hand accidentally stick on the pan. *Ouchy*. Then mom went home carrying the ice. Maybe my mom saw it coming eh? Because we used the ice to ease the pain on my hand. One afternoon, I saw an ice bag and I thought I'll play with it but it's oily because what they put there is cooking oil. To remove the oiliness, I put boiled water in it, then I shake it and guess what happened next? It exploded in my arms. Burnt arm for me that time. I'm a genius, yeah? I also have these fighting moments with none other that my brother who was also my mortal enemy. I was playing with my brick game when I saw him eating my big chunk of cheese. I was mad at him so I throw the brick game on his face and it broke. Then what he did is to throw the cheese to me. It his my eyes so I had a blackeye. Not from him, but from my cheese. Lol I grew up close to my cousins and I am also one of the boys. I feel like if they can do it, I can too. So I do whatever they do and I go wherever they go. There's still a lot of memories I can remember but it's already too long so I had to cut it for now. Also, apologies for such an unorganized articles as this. I' just writing this based on whatever memories that is flashing through my mind right now. These days, at a young age, kids already know how to use different gadgets and many of them already owns a phone. They grew up with YouTube and with different online games. Most of them doesn't even do physical games and activities and their only focus is on their mobile phones. We only had a keypad phone when I was a kid and I can only play space impact and snake with it. Then there are brick games that we used to play too. I was also able to play with my cousin's PSP, gameboy and play station. But aside from those, we mostly played street games that is really enjoyable. Back then, we were such a headache to our parents because of playing too much outside home. At lunch time, that's when we can hear our parents voice calling us to eat already. That's when their rapping skills would be revealed as they nag us about how we can't feel hunger as long as we are playing. So here are some of the games that I made my childhood so fun and unforgettable. Street Games **Patintero** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMvoUCJzqJ0 I have known this game as *"harang-taga/harangang-taga"* but it is more well known as *patintero*. If you didn't know this game, above video is the example of how this game can be played. Only that, we play on wider space because it's literally on the street. And we play more harder than the kids on the video because nobody wants to lose. At the end of the game, the losing team will have crawl on the ground and pass through the legs of the winning team. **Marbles/Jolens** We play this on the ground. Each of us that is part of the game will place an equal bet/equal number of marbles. Then we'll draw a circle then a box outside it. On the circle, that's where we'll place the bets and then we'll take turns on hitting the marbles with our *pamato.* If we successfully hit the marbles outside the circle, then it's already ours. We can also hit the pamato of our opponents and when we did that, their already out of the game and we can get the marbles that they already get from the game. (I suck at explaining this. Hope you somehow get it.) We used to compete who got more marbles and we put it on an empty bottle of brandy. **Teks/Cards** Its just cards with different characters from anime printed on it. There's a lot of ways to play this one and we used to brag if we have lots of it. We usually store it on a shoe box and it's truly something to be proud of when we were able to fill the box with lots of teks. **Rubber bands** We used to play "shoot the buwan" with it. There's one rubber band that we make the buwan (moon), then we go far away from it, then we just have to throw the rubber band and try to shoot it at the moon. We can also shoot it on other rubber bands and the rubber band will became ours if we do that. And if we successfully shoot it to the moon, then all the rubber bands that was thrown there will became ours. Then we'll braid the rubber bands and that's what we use to play Chinese garter and we also treat it as jumping ropes. **Hopscotch/Piko** There's different kind or types of *piko* that we can play. We have this so-called *Pikong Palda, Pikong Simbahan (the one on the photo) Pikong Posporo*, *Pikong Talisod* and so on and so forth. This is really a fun game and quite challenging to play for it requires the player to have nice balance. There are still lots of street games that we used to play like tumbang preso, luksong baka, luksong tink, baseball, doctor quack, tatsing, habulan, and so many games that I can't that I forgot to mention but it'll took me forever if I'll share all of it. So I guess I have to cut this off for now. I'm aware that this is already too long. Nevertheless, I enjoyed writing this article and I was just smiling the whole time remembering all the things that I have done and all the games I used to play when I was still a child. For those that can relate, we had the best childhood right? I do hope that you enjoyed reading this article as you also reminisce to your memories. Thanks for reading, and as always, take care! :) Also, I just want to post my sponsor's block in here. They're already 10, just one more and the top 11 will be completed! Serenity *Calm, peaceful, untroubled.* Few months ago I was looking forward to vacation because of so many overwhelming requirements I had. Then here comes vacation but I'm already wishing to go back to school. Wake up in the morning, cook if it's my schedule, prepare for work, work all day, clean the house as we went home, wash the dishes, babysit my nephew. Geez. I need a break! I am physically and mentally exhausted these days. I have lots of thoughts that keeps on bugging me at night. I'm losing my peace of mind and I have these troubles from within. But of course, I have to keep going so let me just share to you ***my ways of coping up.*** ***Shower.*** It has always been my short escape. I feel like as I shower, it's also washing my worries away. It gives me peace of mind, it gives me relaxation and it allows me to think clearly. It also washes all my tiredness away. I don't know if it's just me but shower really makes me feel at ease. Also, it's the one waking me up in the morning when I'm still disoriented. Lol ***Clear blue sky, clouds, greens.*** Blue and green are very good combination right? This kind of view also gives me peace. The sight is such a breather and it's relaxing to look at. Whenever I feel so tired that my eyes and head already hurts, I just find relaxation on the things around me. It's a good thing we live in a province where there's a lot of trees that I can look at. Staring at the trees feels like it's absorbing all stress, worries, and physical pain I am feeling. ***Green for our sights!*** Here's a province vibe for us all. Who doesn't love green hmm? Aside from it's the color of bitcoin cash and it means that its value is rising up, greens are just so appealing in the eyes. Its a negativity absorber as I call it. I don't know what's with trees and sky that I always find it captivating. I love taking photos like that photo above. I don't know what's special about it but I just love staring at it. It emptied my thoughts, it keeps me calm. It just have its vibes that can really bring me calmness that I really need. ***Sunset.*** I want to tell that I also love sunrise but I don't have any photographs of it for I'm not a morning person, but I do love sunrise, really. So it's sunset! I love watching the sun set. It always reminds me of a job well done, that it's finally the end of the day and that it's my time to rest and to have a break. Seeing the sunset brings me this kind of rewarding feeling and it really comforts me. ***And lastly, it's trees again***. I actually just captured this photo earlier. Today's Saturday and I have been working since this Monday. Finally, tomorrow's my rest day. It didn't rain earlier so I have thought of going out for a bike but I went home kinda late so I was contemplating whether I'll just stay at home and take my rest or to went out for a bike and catch the sunset. In the end, the willingness to went out for a bike wins over me so I did go out. And as I rode the bike, and feel the wind brushes through my face, I don't know but it has this effect on me that I suddenly feels so light. Worries, stress and exhaustion is gone. I just let myself feel the wind and be immersed by the beauty of the nature for few minutes before I finally went home because it's already getting dark. I did made the right choice to go out for a bike. I feel more at peace now as I write this. **I can finally feel the serenity.** If you'll notice, except for the shower, **nature** gives me serenity. It gives me calmness, peace of mind and it takes all my troubles away. I have been so exhausted these days and I'm glad that I have these wonderful sceneries around that is helping me to feel at ease. To all of you who's reading this. I know we all have our own works, our own daily battle. I just want to remind you that there is only 24 hours in a day and we have already done enough for the day. Give yourself a break, a time to rest. We may not have the luxury of time to rest all we want but let us not deprive ourselves of rest that we deserve even for just a few minutes or hours. ***Take it easy. Look around you, find peace in nature. Well done today, now, go and take the rest that you well deserved. Enjoy your Sunday folks.*** Hey all. Thanks for reading, and as always, take care! :) All photos are all mine *except* for the shower.

Paying back for the value they have given us We all want to be rewarded in this platform. May it be monetary or through comments. We all want to receive appreciation for our every articles and the support and the appreciation that we get in this platform can be really uplifting. But I just think that if we want to be rewarded, if we want to have someone appreciating our works, we must also be willing to give it ourselves. I have always been encouraging engagement and interaction on this platform for without it, we won't survive our stay in here. **You want more reads?** ***Then read more*****. You want to be noticed?** ***Then be visible.*** There are so much things to learn by reading the articles of others and I think it's just right to pay them back for sharing their knowledge to us. Personally, I sometimes get ideas about what to write by reading the works of others. There are lots of informative articles where we can learn the most. There are also motivational articles that can inspire us in different aspects. Writers write to add value to their readers and so to every articles we read, we are getting values, and that's the knowledge that they have taught to us. And isn't it just right that we pay them back for that value? How can we pay them back? **Upvotes** Of course, we all want upvotes, do we? This is the very obvious way on how we can pay them back. As for me, I give different amount of upvotes depending on how I liked the article or on how much did I learned on the article. I'm really not a fan of giving same upvotes to all because every articles have different values and there are so many articles that deserve more than that. They worked so hard to produce that article so we should at least give them an appreciation to leave a few cents, just some amount that we can afford. I mean, tipping is not mandatory, it's our choice if we will give or how much are we going to give but at least, if you have few cents to spare, pay them back for the value they added unto you. *I hope that this does not sound offending but if it is, I apologize. I don't intend to offend anyone at all.* As for me, I give tips to pay them back with for the value that I was able to get that's why I'm also not a fan of saying thanks for the upvote for I only give some to those who are deserving. I don't give thanks most of the times because I think I did deserve that. Well, that's just for me. You guys saying thanks means that you are appreciative, thankful and grateful and there's nothing wrong with that. **Comments** I am well aware that not all of us are earning enough in here to spare some BCH for upvotes so if there's another way you can pay someone back, it's through comments. But be mindful, I may have always encourage engagement but make sure to comment something that also have value. Comment when you have something related to the article that you can share. Don't just comment for the sake of commenting. It's honestly kind of offending. I actually have that kind of experience. It's just few days ago when I have written an article about father's day. I have already said on the first few paragraphs on my article that my father already passed away but I still receive comments or greetings for my dad. Maybe they just assumed that since it's father's day, it's for him. Anyway, it's not a big deal but it's really offending to know that they didn't even read your article from top to bottom, word by word. Going back, if you appreciate the article and you can somehow relate to that article, then don't hesitate to share your thoughts on the comment section. Receiving comments can be really exciting too. Also, if you noticed wrong on someone's article, you can also give a constructive criticism. In that way, you can help them to improve and to correct what they have done wrong. **Likes** Every likes matters! I don't know if this applies to all but I just liked seeing a high number of likes in my article. I'm more happier when I see that the number of likes is not that far from the number of views because it only means that almost all those who read my article liked it. They might not leave a comment but the likes are enough. Enough for me to know that I didn't waste their time reading my article. Another thing, if you don't like the article, just leave that article alone. Don't downvote or dislike it specially if they write it from their heart. But if they are spammers and their articles are copy paste, then feel free to move them to spam, downvote and dislike their article. Lol **Subscribe** And of course, if you like the works of that specific user, you can subscribe to them so that you'll be notified and updated on their next articles. All you have to do is to hit the subscribe button and with that little appreciation, it can uplift that user big time. **Read!** Lastly and more importantly, don't just write in the platform then leave while waiting for tips. No, you don't do that here. At least have the courtesy to give back the support to people who also supports you. Me, personally, if there's someone who upvote or give a comment to my articles, I also take time to visit their profile and read their articles. And if I liked it, I do give tips, likes, comments and I also subscribe to them. This whole community is nice so let's take an effort to discover what more does this platform can offer to us. *Read and learn, write and earn.* Read to get more value and write to also share some values to your readers. **Engage. Interact. Build a camaraderie.** Don't just accept and don't just expect. *Try to give back*. With that, I'm bringing back the phrase I have already said on my past article. It's to ***"read, tip, comment, and never leave"***. Read an article, leave a few cents you can spare *(not really necessary but if you can, please do it),* share your thoughts on the comment box and tada! You just made a connection through the comment section, and that's what I mean with "never leave". Hey all! Hope I did give you a great read. Thanks for reading and as always, take care. :)

@immaryandmerry

Hey all! Just received a notification today... Cheers to 2500 views!! Thanks all for reading my articles, for dropping a comment, and for every upvotes! I appreciate y'all, big time. Thanks also to my subscribers, sponsors and friends out there. You guys rock! Will continue to pay you guys back with worth to read articles. :) (gonna need to try harder for this one. Lol) =)

@immaryandmerry

Just an update... about life **24-06-2021** `Just my daily busy boring life. Skip if it doesn’t interest you.` I’ve been used to sleeping only 3-4 hours a day since like forever. With academic stuffs, student council, student organization, business, baby sitting (‘coz I do have my nephew to take care of), juggling my time to do all my responsibilities is hard. Well, I do think that I’m responsible enough because I was able to do every tasks I need to do but that costs me my sleep, I am depriving myself of sleep and I am well aware that it’s not healthy at all. It was on 22nd of May when this Academic Year has ended but I still have pending requirements and org stuffs which I was able to finish at the 4th of June. After that, I was excited, I thought I can finally take a break but nah, it wasn’t the case for me. Vacation is for work. 5th of June and I’m back at work. It’s not actually that hard, in fact, I’m already used to it but the physical exhaustion and my lack of sleep is not a very good combination at all. My body’s aching all over and I just feel so tired no matter what. To cut the story short, what I’m trying to tell is that I really want to fix my sleeping habit now. I already started this week. I usually stop using phone and any gadgets at 2am, and then I’ll fall asleep at around 3-4am so I tried to adjust it at 12mn. I started this adjustment since this week and it’s not that easy. You know that feels? When you have more sleep you end up feeling sleepier? That’s what I am feeling every morning. But as days passed by I’m getting less headache and I don’t know how to describe it but it feels light… I feel so light. Anyways, I’m just telling this to update you all with what I’m up to these past few days. I’m digging up my mind thinking of what to write but I end up typing this one. I was able to sleep before 12mn last night. Today is Thursday and it’s my schedule to cook breakfast. I usually wake up at 6am when it’s my schedule but I set my alarm at 5am today planning to write an article about the topic that I have been thinking since last night. The plan didn’t happen though for I end up waking up at 6:30am. Oh shoot! As soon as I saw the time, I immediately get up, wash my face, cook rice, and look for whatever food that is fast and easy to cook at the kitchen. I saw Maling (luncheon meat) at the cupboard and that’s what I cooked. I added scrambled eggs too and fried some banana (saba). In less than an hour, breakfast is ready. Told you it is easy and fast to cook. Lol. At 8am, we’re done with breakfast. I then took a bath prepare for work and at quarter to 9, we’re off to our store. Actually, I’m already in our store as I was typing this one. Most of the customers usually come on the morning that’s why I have been typing this for over an hour now. One word, one sentence, one paragraph, that’s all I can type before another customer came in again. I am only realizing it now that writing here at store isn’t a good idea at all. Since on the 5th of June, this has been my daily life. Mondays-Saturdays our store is open. It’s on morning when we have lots of customers. Then on lunch time, you know when the spoon is already near at your mouth, that’s the time when another customer will come in. They’re really great in timing eh. I mostly deal with customers and Ate is just sitting the whole day (sana all) dealing with paperworks. At noon, I’m checking the deliveries if there’s any then finally, I can use my phone ‘coz it is dead hours and there’s not many customers. At 5pm, closing time, as I am about to put the key on the key hole to lock the door, customers who are office workers will came rushing and will ask “are you still open?” and of course, I don’t have a choice but to entertain them again. And its overtime! 5pm becomes 5:30-6.pm. Lol At 6, we’re already at home. Sometimes I’ll clean the kitchen, put the clean plates and glasses on their proper place then I’ll take a bath to ease that sticky feeling from whole day of work. 6:30pm, it’s our daily family devotion and prayer meeting. At 8pm, we’re done eating our dinner. When Ate and Kuya have meetings at night, I usually take care of my 4 year old nephew and if they don’t have any meetings, finally! A me-time which I always use to read and write articles and do whatever I want to do. So, I just noticed that it’s already past lunch time. I already lost what I’m trying to say because a customer just came in and I think it’s better if I’ll already end it here. If ever you read this, I hope I didn’t waste your time. Gonna grab my lunch now for i'm already famished. Hope you didn’t get bored with my so-so daily life during my kind of school vacation. How about you? What are you up to these days? Hmm. I’m really ending it now. Thanks for reading, and as always, take care! 

Questions: From Why to How Hey folks! 5th prompt from Miss @JonicaBradley is now up and I already see lots of articles from different users in here who also wrote about it. Just want to commend her for creating such a prompt as this, reading the articles of others about whichever topic from the prompt broadens my perspective. For this week's prompt, it's all about questions. Such a great prompt to think about for we're all naturally curious who have unending questions in mind that needs to be answered. Anyway, I want this article to seems like a casual talk so just relax right there while reading this as if that I am talking to you. https://read.cash/@JonicaBradley/writing-prompt-5-questions-c4076047 As I was thinking on what to write about this prompt, I just remembered that I have already written an article related to it from the past. So, before anything else, let me dig up on an article entitled "5W's and an H" which I wrote in here 4 months ago. https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/5ws-and-an-h-17b1a319 ***What, where, when, why, who, and how.*** Above are the 5W's and an H that I am talking about. On that article, I just looked up for the most asked questions on google which I have categorized into 4 categories; Sometimes we ask **serious** questions that needs serious answers. We also ask some **ridiculous** questions that seems to not make any sense at all. Then there are questions that arise from our **curiosity**. And lastly, **simple** questions such as "*what time is it?*" or "*what day is it today?*" that can be easily answered. Well, my main point in there is that whatever questions that we have, there can be answers to all of it, we just have to seek for it. But I also did emphasize that answers doesn't come right away and that there are also **answers that doesn't even answer our question**. The answer can be out of the context or it can be an answer that we don't want to hear. Either way, the thing is, there are always answers to every questions. For this prompt, I want to talk to you about ***how we can turn our question of why's into questions of how.*** Why and how can be both question but the way of asking or addressing the question can hit so differently. Just like what I have said above, there might be answer to all our questions but not every answers are the right answers. **Why questions** mostly deals with explanation while **how questions** often deals with methods or processes. So I had this thinking that instead of looking for explanations, for reasons, for understanding what's happening behind things, why not try to look how things works and to discover the reasons behind certain things by ourselves. There's just some things in our life that we cannot understand. Sometimes, some things just happened and we don't get to know why. But it doesn't just end there. If it cannot be answerable by why, then let's revise our question into how. Instead of asking ***"why are these things happening to me?"*** why not try to ask ***"how can I learn from these things?"*** It can also be applicable in this platform. From asking "*why am I not getting tips from Rusty?*" we ca try to ask "*how can I also get tips from Rusty?*" or "*how can I improve myself more so that I'll get tips from Rusty?*" Why am I different compared to others? *How can I be unique?* Why did I failed the exam? *How can I pass the next time?* Why did he get mad at me? *How can I make it up with him?* Let's stop from asking why and start to look for ways. There are always a reason behind all things and let's start to discover it, not by asking why but by asking how. By asking why, it's like we're just waiting for the answers to be served to us, but by asking how, it's like discovering the answers that we are looking for. Let's turn our why's into how's and be surprised to see that by seeking ways instead of just asking for an explanation, we can see the exact right answers that we really need. And that would be all. I honestly don't know if I was able to explain my point but I do hope that you got it. And since that this article is just like me talking to you, why not drop your thoughts in the comment section and then let's start this conversation. Hey to all folks out there who might also want to be part of this prompt, you can also join just by doing these rules below: The rules are simple. Month 5: Self Assessment and Realigning BCH Goals *As of June 21, 2021 - 11:59pm, I am officially a* ***user for 5 months.*** **So here's a quick review for what I have experienced in here for the last 5 months.** Month 1. It took me two weeks before receiving at decent amount of upvote from Rusty. Beginning is always hard. I was lost back then, my writing style's a mess, my thoughts are unorganized and I am lacking with lots of things. Good thing that I was able to find my niche and what's more surprising is that I was able to earn almost $100 on my first month. Well, it's quite huge for me with the fact that on my first 2 weeks, I only earn $2.50. https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/embracing-bch-through-readcash-44788e4a Month 2. I must say that this is the month that I love the most. This is the very first month that I have created my own goals which I was able to achieve at the end of the month. My goals were to published at least 20 articles, increase my BCH into $150, and my noise.cash earnings to be at least $20, take part on how will I spread bitcoin cash awareness, give back, and to engage in the community and I was so happy that I was able to accomplished all of it. https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/monthly-bch-goals-march-achieved-cbbaed01 https://noise.cash/u/immaryandmerry Month 3. I created another monthly goal which are to published at least 15 articles, earn $100 on read.cash alone and $20 on noise.cash, offer more sponsorships, learn more about cryptocurrency and to venture with trading. This was also the month where Rusty has given me so little of his attention but then again, I was happy because at the end of the month for I was able to accomplished my goals --except for the earnings though. https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/monthly-bch-goals-april-achieved-04a1e10f Month 4. A month of inactiveness. I didn't create my goals on this month for this the season for our finals on the University and I had to focus on my studies. Well, I still visit here from time to time but I was only able to published few articles and my engagement in the community lessened. This was also the month where BCH makes the *from the top make it drop* for hitting $1600 then dropping back to $700. https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/month-4-the-fall-of-the-rocket-ship-fe35064c **Month 5** - I'm definitely back on track with my goals renewed. Self Assessment **Articles** *For the past 5 months, I have already written 77 full articles and this one is already the 78th.* The articles I wrote are mostly personal, motivational, my journey and goals on this platform. For the first 2 weeks, I have published 12 articles that are not rewarded by the bot. But 13th article came and Rusty spamming me with upvotes makes my heart skip a beat. It went like that until my 33th article but on the 34th, Rusty seems to give me too little of his attention. A lot of things happened but I keep going and I keep writing. On my 73rd article, which is just last week, Rusty makes its sweetest comeback and I couldn't be any happier. https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/act-on-it-be-like-it-6e23ed63 All in all, 30 articles I published didn't receive much from Rusty but still, I was blessed with 47 articles who received a decent amount from the bot. Right now, I'm happy to just write and express my thoughts through writing. I still have lots to improve on my writing and I cannot thank read.cash enough, and its team for giving me the platform where I can improve my craft, meet awesome people whom I consider friends and family, with the opportunity to save and earn some free BCH on the side. **Sponsors** I just want to take this opportunity to appreciate the support I am getting from my sponsors. *Right now I have 8 sponsors.* To @carisdaneym2 who introduced and guide me in this platform, and is also my very first sponsor. @lucas who's supporting me since the very beginning. @meitanteikudo senpai! a good friend of mine that I have met here. @scottcbusiness I'm learning a lot about cryptocurrency on this youtube channel. @LykeLyca who shares the same faith as me, and I really like her works. @Idksamad7869 , I'm so proud of all the accomplishments of this boi! And of course, to my newest sponsor who offered me 2 sponsorships, @Bloghound , thanks much! **Sponsees** This started from my goal on my 3rd month in here --to offer more sponsorships. And right now, I am sponsoring 21 great users in here. You guys know who you are, I just want to tell you that you guys got my support, even with small amounts. **Support Group** Shoutout to **Noiseristificationism** fam! I can't mention you all but it's nice to meet such amazing people as you. Thanks for the support! Realigning BCH Goals After my inactivity last month, I am definitely back on track. I will continue to make more concrete goals and the eagerness to accumulate at least 1BCH is unstoppable. And I'm having a great start with it because of the warm welcome that my new found family, ****#Club1BCH**** has given me. I might be still unknown to some of you but it was such my great pleasure to be part of the Club. Thanks all! *As of now, I'm already halfway on reaching my first BCH and I am so looking forward to finally become a 1BCH hodler.* #Club1BCH Read this to start! Club1BCH - The Genesis https://read.cash/@PVMihalache/club1bch-the-genesis-dbb27252 Club 1BCH https://read.cash/@Eybyoung/club-1bch-df96508b What Is #Club1BCH? https://read.cash/@bmjc98/what-is-club1bch-914bdccd Club1BCH is Up! https://read.cash/@Eybyoung/club1bch-is-up-fbf69cde Will publish a solid goal soon, maybe at the beginning of this month. But as of now, I'll focus more on improving my writings, to learn more about BCH and the cryptocurrency in general, to engage more in the community, and to support my folks from the Club1BCH. Anyhow, thanks for reading. I feel like I have made such a long speech with this article. Lol. Cheers to more months and years with read.cash, noise.cash and our beloved bitcoin cash! ***Thanks again. And as always, take care. :)***

To all the best fathers I'll always have hey folks! I know you have seen lots of articles about Fathers today but allow me to share to you my own version of it. ***To my dad who spoiled me to the brim.*** Who never gets mad even if I disobey him, who patiently taught me how to write. *To the first man that I have ever loved...* I was a **Papa's girl** when I was a kid. Back then, if I were to chose whether if I'll go with my mom or dad if ever that they got separated, I always answered that **I'll go with Papa.** Because he's got the longest patience with me. I remember being such a curious kid back then so I really have unending questions and then Papa is there, who always know what to answer to me. He's a joker, he always makes burst out of laughter. But then, I guess God didn't allow me to be with Him for a long time. *I was just 7 when He passed away*. I was just an innocent kid who doesn't understand what's happening around me that I thought he's just sleeping as I saw him laying on his casket. I'm honestly feeling so sentimental today but I do know **all things happen for a reason**. Besides, I still got a bunch of men in my life whom I will be talking about in this article. *So Pa, Happy Father's Day, I'll just see you in heaven when the right time comes. :)* I am the **youngest out of 7 siblings** and I can say that I'm still lucky even though I don't have a father growing up. I am showered with so much love and I couldn't thank my family enough for that. I have 4 brothers and all of them are all dads now. ***To my eldest brother who took the responsibility as our father.*** *He may be strict but he's a softie inside.* He's hard on my two older hard headed brothers but never to me. He's the one who helps me on my Math assignments. He's the one who fetch water from the water pump just so I could take a bath. He's the one who looks after me when Mom isn't around. He's the so persistent one who won't leave me until I eat. He's the one call away brother that we all have. He doesn't have much but he gives his all to us. ***To my ever hard working, kindest and sweetest brother.*** When dad passed away, *he's the one who helps our mom the most.* He basically send me and my other 2 brothers at school. He's the most hard working person I have ever known. And he surely spoiled me the most. There is not a time that he goes home without presents for me. He's far away from us now but he's still my breathe of fresh air. With him, I can cry it all out. All my troubles and struggles, I can share it all to him, and he could listen to me as long as I want to talk. ***To my best buddy.*** *And here comes my third brother who's as crazy as me*. He's an **ally** who always takes my side whatever happens. He's my supplier of load during those times when texting like there's no tomorrow is a trend. He's the brother who's also selfless. When he was still working and doesn't have his own family, he sends all his salary to mom and doesn't leave some for himself. He's a hard worker and I am so proud of him for I can see how he works hard for his own family right now. He's the brother whom I am most comfortable with. It's just so funny how we always tease each other "*panget*" (ugly) whenever we see each other. Lol ***To my mortal enemy.*** *Youngest brother* who might have thought that he's already the youngest in this family but then again, here I come, getting all the attention that he was enjoying from before. Our age gap is only 7 years but it's big enough compared to all my other siblings who only have 1-2 years of age gap. I guess this thing is normal in the family. I mean, the *two youngest siblings being each other's mortal enemy.* But it's only like that when we were just a kid. As we grow up, we finally get along well. I'm missing how he randomly asks me during late at night to go to the nearest *lugawan* (place where they sell porridge). Or how he always treats me at Jollibee. *(bida ang saya. lol).* We rarely contact each other but he never missed out any of my birthdays. A simple text of *"Happy Birthday, bunso. I love you."* can be really the sweetest. Looking back on our cat fights when we were young, it's just so funny how we fight for such petty things. Lol BONUS! I have these 2 brother in laws who also treats me as their sibling. The other one also spoils me, and the other one, as to what Ate Jeaneth address him, is my *Kuya* (older brother) ***tough love****.* I am so thankful for both of them for they have watched me grew up and they are a big part of who I am now. So lucky to have such brothers in law as them. ***And of course, to my mom who's also my dad,*** you rock, Ma! One thing in common with all the brothers I have is how they call me *"bunso"* (youngest sibling/child) even though all of them already have their own child. It makes me feel like I am irreplaceable as their baby sister, that I am their only *bunso.* For the whole day, I was stopping this sentimental feeling for missing my father so much. But then, I was reminded how lucky I am to be showered with so much love from my family. **To all the men in my life, you guys are the man! You all are the best father I'll always have. :)** Happy Father's Day to all Dad's out there. You all rock! Thanks for reading, and as always, take care! :)

Sportsmanship in Education Hey all. In this article, I will just tell you how we should view education as well as some of my personal experiences while studying. **Sportsmanship**, as to what Merriam Webster defined it, *is a conduct. Such as fairness, respect for the opponent and the graciousness in winning or losing.* Competitions in school can be really tough. May it be the students themselves, and sometimes, their parents also. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/sportsmanship There are just those types of student who always want to be on top, and I'm not saying that it's a bad thing, it's actually a good thing, to strive for more but it became so bad when we let this eagerness eat us up. When we can't accept it when someone did better than us. Primary Days I was never the studious type of student but honestly, I'm kind of **competitive** during my elementary days. Well, not the competitive type wherein I see my classmates as an opponent. Maybe it's more like the literal competition like MTAP, journalism, essay writing, and all those contests that you could imagine. Aside from that, I used to be a top student and it may be the reason why it became natural for the people around me to expect me to be on top every time. And that's where the **pressure** build up. That's when I started to have the thinking that I should be on top because that's what is expected from me, and in that way, I can make my family proud. I enjoyed my childhood days when I was in elementary but I guess, if there's one wrong thing that I did back then, it is the fact that I live based on the expectation of the people around me. Junior High School They say **High School life is the best part of a student's life.** It's where you can **break free** and just do every craziness that came to your mind together with your classmates. I entered Junior High School and *the pressure is still on.* We live in a small town with only 11 Barangays and since we're already on High School, almost all of the students from different elementary schools enrolled on the same school as me since there's only limited number of high schools in our town. I took an entrance exam to be part of the **Star section** back then and luckily, I passed. And here comes the real competition for every top students from different schools are gathered in one class. All seems to be used to be on top and no one wants to back down. *At the end of my 7th grade, I landed on top 9. Way lower than what is expected of me. So I was sad. 8th grade came, I was an awardee but not on top, I failed them again. 9****th grade came and that's the happiest year of high school life.*** **I did break free**. *I was not on top and it's okay*. Because that's when I realized that I am trying hard not for myself but for the people around me. I lose the top spot and it feels so good to study without expectations and pressure. 9th grade, I learned to skip classes. Just absent, I still never cut classes. Lol. I learned to *cheat* with my classmates on an exam, we have that so called ***cheating arrangement*** and when there's an exam, ***wonder pets is being activated.*** 10th grade, last year of my Junior High School and I'm completely free. I go to school without worrying if I'll get a high grade or not, I don't care, as long as I have a passing grade. And so my Junior High School days ended and I was awarded *with Honors*. This time, **I was so happy to receive the award for I know that I did it to myself, I did it without stress, and I enjoyed the process.** Senior High School This was the year when I finally moved in with my sister and her family that's why I have to transfer school. And I treated this as my **clean slate**. I'm far from our relatives eyes, *there's no expectation so I can just study and chill. No pressure at all.* And that's what I did. Of course, I still do study hard, only when there's an exam. *I was just a normal student and I'm happy to be one.* 2 years in Senior High School passed so fast. I finished high school with an award, without even *burning my eyebrows*. Lol College Days I'm still currently on college. Well, technically not because it's already our vacation. But I can say that right now, *I am enjoying my college life.* I don't focus on academics that much, I am just complying on every requirements and I'm just making sure to have a passing grade. I don't want to pressure myself. Having passing grades is hard enough so *I'm being easy on myself.* Also, I am more active on other activities. I am an active student. I am the block president, I joined student councils and organizations and so far, ***I am learning a lot and enjoying the experience.*** I didn't know learning could be this fun if only I didn't lose the top stop. And hey, it's okay to aim to be on top and to study hard for it. But we have to make sure that we are enjoying the process. ***After all,*** *****education us a journey, not a race********. Learning doesn't stop, it's a continuous process, a never ending journey. And while we're at it, let's make every step fun, worthwhile and enjoyable, shall we?*** Let's practice sportsmanship in education, where we treat each other fairly, where we respect one another, and where we easily accept defeat and be happy for other's achievements. **Learning should be fun,** and we can have that fun when we try to eliminate the competition and to just enjoy our journey, may it be our journey in school, or our journey in the outside world. **Let's always try to be sport on our every learning journey.** hey all! thanks for reading. and as always, take care. :))

Being Called Crazy is Now a Compliment Before anything else, I just want to say that I don't and will never treat mental health, more so mental illness as a joke. Hope the term **crazy** on my title doesn't seem to be offending at any point. I was having a conversation with my good friend here @meitanteikudo about the crazy moments we have experienced and it made me look back and think of all the craziest and embarrassing things that I have done and experienced in my entire life. Actually, I already have this article's title on my draft for a few months now but discarded it for I can't think of a way on how will I able to pull if off. Hopefully, I'll be able to deliver it well this time with the current thoughts that I have right now. Growing up, hearing the term *"baliw"* (crazy) is just normal for me. I often receive those words and I don't get offended for I know that I am really crazy. Crazy enough to do the unthinkable, and crazy enough to be silly and to just fool around. With that, I thought of being called crazy as a compliment because I see people laugh with my craziness and it's my pleasure that I was able to make them laugh. Going back to the reminiscing or embarrassing moments, the funny thing here is that I can **proudly** share those moments to the people around me as if like it's not embarrassing at all. I mean, how do I say it? Lol. The things is that it was embarrassing when it happen but then it's just all fun when we already got to share it. Oh well, I don't know if that applies to all but I'm like that, I'll be embarrassed for a while but later on, I'll share it to family and friends and then we'll have a good crazy laugh about it. Another thing why I like being crazy is because **being crazy can make us think outside the box.** And it is just exciting and at the same time thrilling to try something new from time to time without having any fear of failing. Also, *normal is boring*, right? *Who likes being dull? To be monotonous? To just repeat the process again and again and to do the same thing daily?* **Being crazy can make us do something spur of the moment, something impulsive, something new, something different, and it gives more colors in our lives.** **I also love how carefree we can be if we are crazy.** It shows that we are an optimist and whatever problems we may encounter, we will always be able to think about out of the box solutions that a normal mind can't even think of. And me, being a **self-proclaimed crazy person** myself loves it when they see me like that. Being crazy makes people around me happy, being crazy makes me shine, being crazy makes me see things lighter no matter how heavy it is. *Being crazy is a compliment for it has a very positive meaning for me.* On another note, **being crazy and having crazy ideas can make us stand out**. Even in the corporate world, more specifically, in the world of advertising. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXWj5BK7evM *Are you familiar with that crazy commercial from RC Cola that boomed few months ago?* I was able to know the people behind that advertising and one thing I remember from their talk is when they said **"be crazy"**, be open for ridiculous ideas, be unique. That way, we can stand out. I'm not saying that we should compete to stand out, what I'm saying is that we should be crazy, to be able to be separated from the rest of the crowd. To be seen as your own you, and to showcase who you really are without being compared to anyone in this world. ***Just be crazy, be you, be unique. Create your own brand and walk that brand with confidence.*** Hey all! Thanks for reading. :) In case that you are interested, I still have some writeups from my previous articles which you can also read. Just click the links below. Darkness as an Opportunity ***Darkness...*** ...is terrifying, full of uncertainties, cold and empty. But it's only like that if we look at it as it is. Darkness is like that if we let it make us blind. Because I'm telling you, there is so much more to darkness than all that scary stuffs. *As we delve into the mysteries of darkness, there is definitely so much more to see.* **I can see darkness as an opportunity...** Opportunity to shine Imagine a covered room with total darkness, then there’s suddenly a small light that will lit up. No matter how small it is, it will shine. In the dark, you can do big even though you are small. In the dark you’re small actions can be seen, your every actions is appreciated. You do not need to compete for you already shine so brightly that all focus is on you. In the dark, every action counts. Start with small, start with a dot, until it gets bigger, until your light gets bigger, and bigger. And then there’s no darkness anymore because you have already dominate it with how much you shine. In the dark there’s no pressure. You just have to be you, your own little light, and using that, you can find your way out of that darkness. Opportunity to focus Now, imagine seeing only one thing, one light in a room, seeing only the goal can make us focus. A little bit of light in the darkness can be our guide. Think of that light as the goal, that even though we don’t actually know our way, as long as we see that light, we won’t be lost. We can stumble on our way to that light but we’ll still be able to reach it. For it signifies hope, to see that there is something certain on the sea of uncertainty. If it’s bright, there is so much to see that we often get lost because we may thought of something as the main goal but it’s not. We can see so much things, there's a lot of possibilities that we don't exactly know if what we're pursuing is the right one or not. While in the dark, seeing only one thing helps us and make us focus. Seeing only one thing gives us the certainty that it’s finally what we are looking for so that we can do anything in our power just to get there. We will stumble, but won’t be lost. The light is the hope, and as long as there is hope, it can help us to keep going. Opportunity to see *I don’t know if this applies for all but here’s how it goes.* As the dark surrounds me, it calms me. We may not see anything with the total darkness but our senses will be heightened, that way, we can feel what we cannot see. Lying down on bed, with complete darkness, as I end my night, I was always left with thoughts as deep as the night, reflecting on the things I have done for the day and how can I make tomorrow better. When it’s too bright, we can see so many things and it can make us lose our focus. When it’s dark and it’s just our thoughts running, we can be able to see what we have not seen during the day. We can reflect on what we have done wrong which we didn’t realize earlier that day, and we can already think of a solution on how we can make it up for the next day. We will always have our own dark side but let’s not be afraid about it. No matter how dark it is, a small dot of light is only what it takes for us to shine in the dark, to overpower the darkness, and to turn it into lightness. Darkness doesn’t have to be scary. Stay calm and dive into it. Dive into your deep thoughts and think of the unthinkable. ***Think of the darkness as an opportunity, because in the dark, you can shine the brightest and you can be the light that you want to be.*** hey all! this is my entry for the prompt: darkness of Miss @JonicaBradley https://read.cash/@JonicaBradley/writing-prompt-4-darkness-30499827 I don't really know if I made some sense at all, so can you be my judge on that part? @immaryandmerry

Act on it, be like it! *Actions speak louder than voice.* *Words are meaningless if not proven with action.* *Actions prove who we are, words says who we want to be.* Having a business that offers credit, there will always be people who don't settle their accounts on time. And of course, we have to take an action for their payments to be collected. Most of them will give a date, and promise to pay on that specific day, but sadly, not all of them fulfills their promises. They'll promise to pay on pay day, on the first week of the month, last week of the month, or any random date but won't show up that day. Until they'll give another promise, then promise after promise, until we end up not believing their words at all. As I reflect on their actions and our actions, it made me think of the times where I'm also not true with my words. When I say something, or maybe promise something, but was not able to fulfill it, accidentally or not, *am I also losing my credibility? Are the people around me will also stop trusting me? Will they also see me as a liar? Someone who is not true to her words? Someone who's only good as speaking but not actually acting on it?* Now, let me ask you the same questions so that you can also reflect on yourself. Remember those times when you promised and not fulfill, when you said a word but not actually do it, when you said a lie and make other believe on it. What do you think did others think about you? Today, I realized **how important is our every word**. **To think before I speak** and to **be responsible for the things that I have said.** *Because I want others to believe in me. I don't want to be known as a liar and I don't want to waste and to lose the trust that the people have given me.* *Importance of words* A single word can hurt us, comfort us, makes us happy, sad, mad, and many other feelings or emotions that we can possibly possess. In simpler term, **words are powerful.** Think before you speak Words are powerful that is why we should be careful on saying it. Joke or not, let us be mindful of every words that will come out of out mouth. A roller coaster of emotions can make us say words unexpectedly. When we're happy, sad, angry, or whatever we are feeling, there's a possibility that we could say a word that we don't even mean. It can be a promise that will make people have expectations, a word that can hurt someone, words that will only result to negativity. So let us be careful with our words. Say only what is true. And let us not let our emotions overpower our judgment that can make us say something that we will regret in the end. Be responsible for what you have said Let's be true to our words and have integrity on it. Act on it and be like it. What we have said is something that we can't take back but we can definitely do something about it. What we promise, let's fulfill. And if we know we can't, let's not make a promise at all. It's better to say that we'll do our best rather than giving the assurance that we can actually do it when we know in our minds we can't. Going back to the third phrase I have mentioned above, words says what we want to be, so if we want to be that someone, we should work hard to be that someone. If we want to be someone who is responsible, then let's start by taking actions on our every words. **Walk the talk** and let's make everyone believe in us through the actions they are seeing in us. We can say and claim a million things about us but it won't be proven and will remain meaningless as long as it stays as words. Let's treat people as our customers that we need to satisfy. And no, I'm not saying that we should please others. What I'm saying is just **a satisfied customer is more trustworthy than a paid salesman**. So let's make those customers satisfied, shall we? ***Be careful with words, speak the truth, and be responsible for it. As we take care with our words, we are also taking care of our credibility.*** ***Act on it, be like it.*** Hey all. Thanks for reading this far. Let me know your thoughts about words in the comment section. And as always, take care. :)

How It's Like to Live in the Province Countryside, far from crowded places, rural areas, calm, peaceful, and simple, that is how I can describe the province life. I grew up in a province and I still am in the province, but it has been more than four years since I moved in with my sister's family. Well, I am still on our province but it's on a different town. Life here is so much different from my hometown. Last Sunday, we were able to visit and spend the whole day at my hometown and it's just so nice to go back, even just for a while. All in all, it was a fine Sunday full of peace, enjoyment and relaxation. Such a breather from all the work, academics and stress that I've been into lately. Anyhow, in this article, I just want to highlight **three great things on how nice it is to live in the province.** No Starvation Nice Neighborhood The Place Itself No Starvation Aside from nice home cooked meals in the province with family, I don't remember a day that I feel starvation. I mean, yes surely I did starve, but that's not because there's no food in the table. We aren't rich, maybe just in the middle class, I'm aware of how my mom makes credit sometimes but there was never a day that we didn't eat 3x a day. Foods can be free in the province. Just look somewhere and there is something to eat. The land is healthy so you can plant fruits, vegetables and root crops. Animals such as chicken and ducks can also be consumed for foods. Free foods from the neighbors also. I remember when I was a kid that every time it's already meal time and I'm still at someone else house, they will make me to eat too. I can be shy and I can try to refuse but they wouldn't just take no for an answer. Haha Nice Neighborhood In continuation with no starvation, neighbors can be really nice too to lend some foods. Actually, we don't really have a big land and we don't have vegetable plants at home but I saw an area near our home where lots of vegetables are planted. It's my uncle's property but since we are all relatives on our neighborhood, everybody is free to harvest some vegetables in there, for free. I'm not a fan of vegetables but freshly harvest vegetables are so delicious right? Another thing is that if it's a small town, there's a higher chance that people know each other. If someone needs help, it will come without you asking for it. The spirit of *bayanihan* is always there. The willingness to help without asking or expecting anything in return is still present on the people in there. We have been through different calamities in our place and every time it will happen, I can always see people helping out each other. When there's a storm, literally and figuratively, you can always lean on the people in the neighborhood. I don't know if it's the case for everyone living in the province but this is our kind of neighborhood and I'm just so lucky to be part of it. The Place Itself And of course, the place itself! If you're up to a simple and peaceful life, a life in the province is for you. It is true that there's not a lot of job opportunities in here but still, it's not that hard to live in the province. It's a place where there are greens everywhere you look and it's very appealing and relaxing to the eyes. It's also hot during summer in the afternoon but you won't feel it that much because of the wind blowing, it's also nice to hangout under the tree. A breathe of fresh air, a peaceful sight, a quiet place, I couldn't ask for more. The nature itself can give you so much comfort. *As for me, who's future is still unknown, I'm not yet sure whether to stay here in the province or to move in the City for more opportunities. I'll never know. But one thing is certain, no matter how far will I go,* ***I will always come home to my beloved hometown.*** I just wanna add that province life is never boring! Haha. Hey folks! I just shared to you another part of me through this article. Thanks for reading. Take care always. :)

Does being different makes us divided? On my point of view, *similarities gives us a sense of belongingness*. Birds with the same feather flocks together. People joined organizations and the people in there share the same goal and interest. People relate to each other for having the same thing in common. In short, ***similarities are the things that binds us.*** But if similarities is the thing that binds us, does that mean differences makes us divided? As humans, we will always have the *desire to belong*, to be part of something, to fit in. But we cannot deny the fact that we will always have our own differences. And because we badly want to fit it, **we sometimes forget that we are our own we, that we are unique and that it’s okay to be different.** To answer my own question, it’s a no. Being different doesn’t make us divided. Being different or having a different opinion or beliefs doesn’t separate us from each other. It is important that we know that because some people lost themselves just because they want to fit in. People sometimes disregard their own opinions and decide to just left their voices unheard because of the fear to be different, to not belong. Also, there’s this stereotyping wherein society expects us to be the same and act the same like everybody else in our group or in the family. **But I’m telling you again, it’s okay to be different.** I am the youngest in the family and as I grow up, as I see the realities within this country and in this world, I have come to *disagree* with my family’s perspective about most things. Especially on social issues and politics. As the youngest, seeing and hearing that I am the only one having different views is terrifying because I feel like I’m betraying the family. I was young and I was afraid to voice out my own opinion. And most of all, I respect my family so much than to trash talk their candidates for election. Lol I vote for different people during elections, my take about covid19 and its vaccine is different. And it’s okay. At the end of the day, no matter how I disagree to them on some matter, we are still family, we share the same blood and we got each other’s back. Also, I have lots of friends growing up, I belong to many groups, and differences such as having a different religion is always present. But it won’t keep us from being friends with each other. I guess what I’m saying here is that *similarities will always overpower our differences*. We just have to accept that at some point, we are different individuals. We may have the same goals but we can have different thoughts about it. ***Similarities binds us but having differences won’t separate us*****.** Let’s not make differences go in our way of being united. Let’s accept and respect all those, but let us focus on the fact that we have much more than similarities than differences. *We may have different gender, race, tribes, color, country, beliefs, age and so on and so forth, but let us not disregard the fact that we are all humans who need foods, clothes and shelter. We share the same air and the same earth, and that’s enough to make us all united. No superior, no inferior, we are all humans and we share the same rights with everyone.* Always be brave to speak up on what you believe, we may have different views, but that doesn’t make us different form the rest of the people in this world. Focus on similarities but never lose your own voice. ****You are you, and you are YOUNIQUE.**** Hey all. This article is in response with Miss @JonicaBradley****'s**** Prompt #3: Similarities. Though I really don't know if I made the right choice writing this. She says we should focus on the things we share with each other but here I am talking stuffs about being different. As I was browsing to my published articles, I see this certain article entitled "Can be be friends?" from 2 months ago and I realized that it's me encouraging users to engage and interact in this platform. That made me reflect on actions in here in the past 2 months. Where's the old me?! I'm lacking interaction. In fact, I wasn't active for 2 whole days. But anyway, that serves as my wake up call too. And i'm kinda feeling light tonight for I was able to read a lot of articles. That's just from my subscriptions tho. I still have lots of catching up and exploring looking for hidden gems in this platform. I guess this is a start. I made it today. I wasn't able to leave a comment to all those articles I have read but I leave few comments on few articles which I was able to relate with. As for now, i'll try to read as many articles as I can while finding my way on how to write again. Became a little Rusty eh from not publishing a lot. And looking back, the articles I have published recently isn't my best piece. Not like the ones I have published from before. Will start anew. From the very basic of finding my niche. Hope to catch uo from where I left before. So hey all to those who supports me out there, i'm gonna work hard to give you articles that is worth your time. Thanks for the support. I appreciate you guys so much. Just see. You'll be hearing a lot from me from now on. :) *this isn't a short post at all eh?

Good Old University Days I can still vividly remember my first week being a freshmen student at our University. The feels, the excitement, the nervousness, and all those mixed emotions we usually feel on our first day of school. During the first week, that's when I was so careful not to go to glasses late. That's also the week that we were able to meet our professors and instructors. That's when we heard of the rule that when a phone rang during class, then we'll have a quiz. (That was from our strict instructor. lol) Second week of our class, we experienced the strictness of our instructor first hand when the phone of my block mate rang while our instructor is discussing. We had a quiz, and of course, everyone failed. That actually happened twice, with different instructors, because of the same reason. Still in second week, I was surprised to be elected as the Block President. I honestly don't know why but my hunch is probably because I look like someone who's smart and responsible because of my eyeglasses. Haha. Yeah, we're more than 50 in our block section and it just so happened that I am the only one wearing eyeglasses so I guess I kind of stand out in the class. And of course, since I was trusted with the position, I did my best to be able to perform my duties and responsibilities as the class beadle. As the President, I realized that we are not strong yet as a block so together with other class officers, we planned to have a Team Building Activity so that we'll know more and be more comfortable with each other. It was a successful event but the funny things is that it's illegal. I was just first year back then and I don't know all the do's and don'ts in the University (yep, I didn't read the student handbook hehe) and I didn't know that conducting activities such as this one should be approved by the College and the University. Anyway, the University wasn't aware of what we did and at the end, we did enjoy our event and since then, we become solid as a block. :) You see, we're already at the classroom in here but our prof hasn't arrived yet so we just took a class picture out of the blue. Another class picture! This was while we were waiting for each other before the parade for the opening program of University Intramurals. We were wearing our monicker shirt, with a blue chips printed on it which is representing our College. This was at 2019. On this year, I joined the women's basketball team in my college just because I want to have some role on the Intrams. Lol. Students from our college who doesn't have any sport to play will have to support our players, they are assigned to different games where they have to stay and cheer. There's a checking of attendance so as long as the team that they have to support have a game, they can't just watch any game that they want to watch. Me, on the other hand, enjoyed the privileges' as a player. When we don't have a game, we are free to roam around and watch anywhere we want to. And as a player, there are also free foods from breakfast to lunch to snacks provided by the college so yeah, I did enjoy staying at the bench, drinking the energy drink provided for us. Haha. I didn't even play the much! It was such a smart move on my part to join the basketball team. Hmm Another thing that I enjoyed inn the University was my unforgettable experience during my first lantern festival being an official student at the University. I won't elaborate this part much since I have already written a separate article about it. If you're interested, here's the link: A History to Remember https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/a-history-to-remember-e3fde886 Another thing that I'm missing the most at out University are these trees that kind of have enchanted spells because we just have to stare at it, walk a bit, and the trees are like absorbing all our negative energies and stress. The Lingap Kalikasan Park located at the end of the University. We sometimes go here to practice whenever we have performances. This is also a great space for shooting for music videos, prenup and debut photoshoots, and this is also a nice place to study and have picnic with your friends since there are lots of huts with chairs and table around the area. The chirps of the birds that you'll here as you stay at this place is also relaxing. Actually, the lagoon isn't this clear before but they were able to clean it while on a lockdown. And here's the new face of our University lagoon now. It's nice to hangout at this area with friends during afternoon, when Mr. Sun is already setting and even during at night. The atmosphere in here is just so perfect. And the green fields of the University Oval. It's also nice to hangout here, and on the grandstand, on the left side of the picture, that's where we usually practice for whatever we have to perform. Specially on P.E. It's just so relaxing to the eyes. Another memory I can remember on this very Oval is that this is where we train for ROTC. ROTC days was indeed fun despite the heat on this open field. And for the most relaxing place in the University, the Baywatch. It's perfect to have picnic and watch the sunset in here. It's also not that clean before, but the CWTS students was able to clean it and after the cleaning drive, it's real beauty reveals to us. This is such a very peaceful and calming place. Oh how I am missing the peace and the relaxation that the views in University is giving to us despite the stress in our studies. Indeed, such good old days at the University! I am still lucky and thankful that I was able to experience the life at the University even for just 1 1/2 semester. I have so much memories in the University and I still have a lot to share but it'll took us forever if I do that so I have to stop myself for now. Hey there first year students who experienced their first year on college on an online setting, I know you would also want this kind of experience. To 2nd and 3rd year students, I know that our days in the University isn't enough and I can relate how much you are missing it too already. To those professionals, you can reminisce on your college days as you read this. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed reading this one. Let's chat on the comment section! You can also share your own experiences or the things you want to experience too in a University. :)

Motivation: A Thing from Within I have been thinking about this thing about motivation since the other night. Before, I can identify myself as a motivator for I am someone who's always positive. I am an optimist and I always see the good things in bad. But lately, I am losing the drive to move forward. It was like I was stuck in one place, losing all my will power to actually get up and move. Of course, I am thinking, what’s wrong with me? I am frustrated because I’m not used to being like that. *Anyway, I already passed that stage so here I am to tell you what drives me to finally move forward.* First, let me **start with our own self.** I truly believe motivation should come from within. Sure, we may have support systems but what can they do if our own self and body doesn’t want to move? We can get inspiration from everywhere, from a verse we read in the bible, from a quote we saw in the internet, from the words of encouragement our friends gave us, and from the support of our family and loved ones. There are so many source of motivation but it won’t work if we won’t make the action. A friend says **“you can do it”**, oh yes you can, we can, but the things is, *do we want to? I mean, do we want to do it? Are we willing to do it?* **The drive, the desire and the willingness to actually act on it should come from us. Self-motivation, this is how I can address it.** After motivating the self, **that’s when we can only appreciate motivations coming from different sources.** This is where their encouragements make sense to us. *This is where when someone says “you can do it” you gain more courage to do it* It just hits differently when someone says to you that you’re doing better when in fact, you know in yourself that you’re not having any progress at all than when someone says the same thing but this time, you’re already on the move, you already have a progress, no matter how small or slow it is. *Are you getting the thought?* I don’t know if this applies to you but to me, personally, I feel like it’s a joke when someone told me I’m doing good but the truth is I’m not doing anything at all. I mean, seriously? I’m doing well? I’m not even doing anything. Compared to when I’m doing something, which I am not confident about, for instance, I am writing this article and I feel like it doesn’t make sense, so I made a friend read it and he gets my thought, told me it’s great, go published it, that’s when I feel the encouragement. `(Ain’t really confident. I hope you’re getting my point. Hehe)`  **Closing thoughts…** There are so many things and factors that can give us motivation. It’s actually countless, and we can definitely get that from anyone, anytime, and anywhere. Motivation is everywhere. We have different things that can drive us to move forward but my take on this matter is that it should come from within. Start with the self, start with yourself. If we won’t and we don’t believe in ourselves, if we don’t push ourselves, other motivations are worthless. At the end of the day, we’re the one who’s going to make a decision whether to get up and move forward, or to just stay where we are, throw ourselves some self-pity because we aren’t making a progress. ***Will you drive yourself to act on it? I can motivate you, but will you allow me? The choice is yours.*** Just want to acknowledge @MizLhaine for tagging me to participate on this writing prompt. And of course, @JonicaBradley for making this prompt. It was nice writing this one. And what an exercise in the mind! Lol Thanks y'all for reading. Whatever you're feeling right now, I hope that you'll find it in yourself to move forward and be motivated by others. :) Lead image from Pixabay https://pixabay.com/photos/sunset-men-silhouettes-helping-1807524/

Devotions on MAY: Ends and Beginnings I have been quite inactive this month but i'll never forget this specific day every end of the month. It's my time to publish a compilation, or more like realizations about my personal devotion for the whole month. I started doing this since January and by God's grace, I hope to do it the whole year. ***Let's have first a short recap about my previous compilations since the beginning of this year.*** JANUARY: A Compilation of Daily Devotions - If you are curious on what devotion I am talking about and how to make one, you'll find all the answers in this article. https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/january-a-compilation-of-daily-devotions-fa658410 FEBRUARY: A Compilation of Daily Devotions - I just shared the books which I have encountered this month as well as some of my sample devotions on each book. https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/february-a-compilation-of-daily-devotions-fe2934f7 MARCH: Finding my Purpose through Daily Devotion - March has been quite different for I shared a passage from the 4o days of purpose challenge which I did last year. https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/finding-my-purpose-through-daily-devotion-bff1abd5 APRIL: A Compilation of Daily Devotions - I also shared the books which I have read here but I focused on all of my devotions on the book of James since that's the book which I learned a lot. https://read.cash/@immaryandmerry/april-a-compilation-of-daily-devotion-855496b6 *Endings and beginnings at the month of May...* ****End**** ***of times*** Yes, by endings, I do mean end of times. On this month, I have come to encounter the book of Revelations which I have been avoiding for so many years already. When I was younger, my leaders told me to read the book of Revelations only if i'm already ready. Things can be terrifying in there so spiritual maturity and preparations is really necessary. Revelations is the last book on the new testament in the Bible. It talks about end times, rapture, tribulations, and all things about the second coming of Jesus. It's true, the things that are written here are kind of scary, unimaginable and honestly, I don't know how those all things can happen. But what I noticed on the book is that even though we may experience many trials and sufferings, God's assurance that He will be with us and He will protect us is always there. To cut it short, aside from what will happen in the end times are written there, main message of the book is that no matter what we'll experience, let's trust God, stick with Him, and endure everything until the end. If we do that, His glory will be revealed to us. The thought of end times can be scary. In just a blink, in just a snap, the rapture might happen. We don't know when, but just like a thief on the night, it'll happen without us noticing. *And since we are talking about end times, I know we have different beliefs about this matter so let me hear your thoughts and feelings about it. I'll be glad to know your insights. :)* ****Beginning...**** Since I already finished the new testament, what I read next is the beginning of the old testament which is Genesis. Yeah, i'm talking about this kind of beginning here. The very beginning where God created the heavens and all that's on the earth. The time where man isn't separated with God yet but because Adam and Eve have sinned, we have sinned, we were separated from God. But let's cut that separation because of sin for now because that is not what I want to share to you with this book. Since i'm still on the 10th chapter, the part where Noah was drunk but Shem and Japheth remains faithful and did not sin. Anyway, this is not also what I want to talk about. Hehe So let's go first to the very beginning... Well, this was just my personal thoughts and realizations about the story of creation where God created everything in a span of 6 days and on the 7th day, He rested. This is nothing spiritual but I just want to tell you that like God, you deserve a rest after a long tiring day or maybe a long tiring week. We may have a lot of things to do, we may be full of worries is we were be able to do all that, some may have been working overtime to keep up with the workloads, some might be working non stop because the work is really non stop too. Well, work is really non stop. It goes on and on. Whatever we do, it won't end. It'll continuously go. So why not take a break, renew your mind, renew your body and your strength so that we'll have more energy to finish everything that is on our plate right now. Take a break, give yourself a rest. It has been a tough busy month, congratulations, you did well on the past 31 days. Another month starts now and let's see this month as an opportunity to be better. ***I believe in you, I know you've got this. Claiming for a successful month of June to all of us. Take care y'all. God bless you, always and in all ways! :)***

3am thoughts and all that keeps me awake all night **be warned:** I don't know if this will make sense at all. I just want to let all these thoughts out so that I can finally sleep peacefully. Ever since 8th grade, sleeping late became normal to me. I can still clearly remember what keeps me all night back then. It was the time when I get so hooked with wattpad that I almost won't sleep until I finish the story. I still remember how I hide my face, and the light coming from my phone under the pillow so that mom won't notice that i'm not yet asleep. Those were the days that I am so addicted to wattpad that 5 or 6 am became my normal time of sleep. But it's okay back then knowing that I got to sleep peacefully during day time without someone bothering me. Senior high school came and I changed a bit. I still sleep late but not to the point that it's literally morning when i'll decide to sleep. Still a wattpad reader but not the same from before. I learned to limit myself. 11pm-12mn, that's my limit. I always make sure to sleep at that time. College came and I know that you guys also know how demanding it can be. I'm a class representative so i've got additional tasks to do. My class schedule during our first year is only on the morning. After classes, I go directly to our store there. Closing time is 6pm and we'll be home before 7pm. There's household chores at home and Ate and Kuya are busy with church, they almost have meetings every night so my nephew was left with me. They'll go home at 11pm and that's when i'll be able to study. I must say, college ruins my sleep. There are times where i'll sleep at 5am, woke up at 6am, leave home at 6:30a, to attend my 7am class. So there are really times when I can't help it but to fall asleep during classes then my blockmates would laugh at me coz i'm a sleepyhead. lol. Anyway, i'm not offended by them. I'm already used to it and I really just can't help it. Lockdown happened and we were stuck at home. And here's another thing that ruins my already ruined sleeping habit. During these times, day literally turned night and vice verse. I'm awake all night, reading stories and watching series, i'll sleep at 6am, wake up call is at 8am for breakfast, will pretend that i'm not awake all night, clean the house, then sleep again. Classes are back, only that it's being held online. Well, it's on my advantage since we're in a asynchronous class setting so I don't even know if i'll consider this online because online meetings are strictly prohibited unless the request comes from us, students. During the first semester, it's a little bit normal for me because I was able to study during day time. The sad part is that, even though I don't have much left to do at night, I still can't sleep. And here's where my frustration begins. I cannot sleep at all despite me not doing anything. Lights off, total darkness, drinking milk at night, no gadgets, but still can't sleep. Can you imagine the frustration trying to sleep from 12mn then suddenly it's already 3am and you haven't slept a wink yet. 2nd semester came and it worsens, I am so unproductive. Can't sleep all night, sleepy all day, and so my school requirements has been disregarded. I started procrastinating, always cramming and this is no fun at all. so yeah, enough with the history about my (bad) sleeping habit. i'm still up right now, obviously coz i'm still writing this one. I really wanna sleep. I guess, I gotta cut it right here. Finally, I can feel my eyes closing now. Writing it down really helps. hmm Good morning and good night. Forgive me for this article, no, I can't even call this an article. Anyway, I don't know what i'm talking about anymore. I'm gonna read this tomorrow and i'll decide if this is worth to keep or if it should be deleted. ***thanks for reading. have a good day. :)***

Resolving Conflicts Conflicts are so common nowadays. It may arise anytime and anywhere. It can start with small things and if not resolved, it can continue to become a bigger one. Conflicts may arise if our expectations are not met. Conflict also happens when two or more people have a disagreement. It may happen from a lot of things and a lot of reasons. Conflict is everywhere. In this article, let us learn more on truth about conflicts and let us seek for ways on how are we going to resolve it. Without further ado, let's begin. Truths About Conflicts **The COMMONNESS of Conflict** Just like what I've said on my introduction, conflict is everywhere. Common factors why conflicts are arising is the disagreement between two parties and no one of them wants to back down because they believe that they are right and they want to prove their point. Stubbornness, really. There are still a lot more reasons where conflict can start but I'll just leave it for you for ponder. To think of the current or previous conflicts you've witnessed or you've had with someone. **The CAUSES of Conflict** We usually have disagreement because of our differences. Specifically because of the differences in our personality. So let me share to you these 4 personality types sometimes the cause why we clash. Actually, @Marts have already made an article about this, so feel free to visit his article to know more about this four temperaments. Though I am also planning to make my own version and tell you a different method on how to know what personality type you have. https://read.cash/@Marts/get-to-know-the-four-temperaments-29973431 For now, let's proceed to a brief description about these temperaments. Choleric Decisive Insensitive Unemotional Tactless Those who are choleric are great leaders, only that they are kind of dominant. But what made them a great leader is their strong personality. It's just that I find them aggressive most of the time. They do what they want to do and you can't get in the way. They are also insensitive so they say what they want to say without considering what others would feel. Phlegmatic Peaceful Soft spoken Caring Gentle They are really the soft types. The opposite of choleric. I really love these kinds of people but what I don't like about them sometimes is that they are a bit slow. Drop a joke then everyone will laugh while they are still processing what you have said. You are talking of a certain topic, then already move on to another but their minds is still thinking about your first topic. So if a choleric person encounter them, perhaps a leader who's choleric, and if the phlegmatic doesn't get what he's saying instantly, conflict may arise. Sanguine enthusiastic funny insincere I myself is a sanguine. The thing about this personality type is that they always want to be the center of attention, not in a negative way though. At least, not all the time. What I love with Sanguine is that they are overflowing with positivity. They are easy going and they always do things with enthusiasm. But some thinks that they are being insincere because they are not the serious kind of person for they take almost everything easy. Melancholic perfectionist accurate critical This one is the opposite of Sanguine and I am for some reason which I don't know, I am also Melancholic. They pay too much attention to details. Very organized and detail oriented. They are also the one who doesn't talk much but they always have an idea about things, they are just too reserve to voice it out. So it is more likely that they are good in writing because that's where they can express themselves. **The CURE for Conflict** Here are some of our possible reactions to conflict. Retreat denial withdrawal suicide This is actually quit good for I personally think it is a brave move to accept defeat but sadly, not everything can accept it. Yes, they can retreat, but not everyone will take it positively. And if worst comes to worst, it can even lead to suicide. Reconciliation one-on-one overlook discuss negotiate This is actually the best reaction that we should have when dealing with conflicts. Discussions are always better than arguments, because arguments is to find out WHO is right while discussion is to find out WHAT is right. Fight lawsuit injure murder This is like the worst outcome that conflicts can bring. It may reach the court, it can result to physical fight, and the worst thing of all, it can lead a person to commit murder. Now that we know about the truths about conflicts, here are some principles to resolve it. ***Personal Effort*** - People who are involved in conflict may talk privately. They have to acknowledge the conflict and have the initiative to resolve it. They can go directly to that person and talk in private. Speak the truth in love and make every effort that needs to be done so that they can lead to peace. ***Plural Effort*** - Take witnesses. They can bring in a friend or a family member or someone that they are close with to listen to both sides and to put some sense into them. Sometimes, they just have to add another point of view so that they'll have clearer perspective on the matter which they have a disagreement. ***Public Effort*** - This was the last resort where they can make others involve. Of course, not in a way that they will join the conflict. it's just like in the plural effort but the difference is that it should be someone that is not close to them. Because that person or people can bring in another perspective without bias. He can give his honest opinion and he can help both parties to settle. There are still a lot more efforts that we could do about resolving conflicts but I just simplified it into these 3 efforts. And we can always resolve conflicts on our own way. Better solution I am seeing here is the discussion. Let's always open our hearts and minds to listen to others. Practice both empathy and sympathy. As much as possible, let us try our hardest to understand one another and let us all have the willingness to resolve the conflict and not make it worse. And if it so happen that we are the one in the wrong, let us be brave enough to accept our mistakes and never do it again. Also, we can be more braver if we lower our pride and try to settle with them despite knowing that we are right and they are wrong. Conflicts may begin anywhere, we can't escape it, but know that we can always resolve it. We just need to find it in our heart the willingness to listen and to understand others. Thank you for reading. May we all live in peace. :)

Different Roles, Different Me `hey folks! I've been quite inactive this month so just treat this article as an update, or more like reasons that's keeping me from writing in here. So, here we go. Enjoy reading! :)` ***as a student*** **PROCRASTINATOR** Above underlined word is the perfect term to describe what kind of student am I. But anyway, I've been real busy with my studies this month, even without procrastinating. This month was a month full of final requirements and final exams so I really have to focus on it. I know you guys can relate how stressful final seasons on school can be. ***as a class representative*** **MEDIATOR** As the block president, I have to come in between my block mates and our professors. This role of mine really stresses me out the most. I have this block mate who wants to report one of our professors on the Office of the Students Affairs. As the mediator, I really don't want to let things out of control so as much as possible, I want to resolve the issue from within without involving any person from outside our class. Another thing that I do in this role is that all class concerns are going through me. May it be coming from our professors or my block mates. Our prof will always ask me to relay information to the class and if the class have concerns about the subject, they will tell it to me and I'll be the one to tell it to our professors. In short, I'm their human messenger. ***as a student organization applicant*** **MOTIVATOR** Another thing that kept me busy this month is because of the application process of the organization that I want to be part of. It is so time consuming. And by the way, I'm a motivator as an applicant. During the process, many of my batchmates have already quit and a lot of them are on the verge of quitting. Everytime an applicant will quit, it affects us so much and it makes us feel us that we're losing a leg. So I am really trying hard to cheer up and motivate my batchmates that we can do it and we can survive the process. ***as an aunt*** **SOFT HEARTED** I have more than a dozen of nephews and nieces and when it comes to them, I just can't say no. So their modules adds up to my already busy schedule. I'm studying in college but since I'm also helping them out, it's like I'm also studying for both grade school and high school. When they are having a hard time with their requirements that even their parents can't do, I am their go-to person and since I can't decline because I just simple can't, there, another lessons I have to study so that I could help them out. ***as a sibling and as a daughter*** **SPOILED** This role of mine doesn't add up with my busy schedule but this is also one of my roles in life that's why I'm still sharing it here. I'm the youngest in the family so is that enough reason why I was spoiled as a kid? hehe. Kidding aside, yes, I am spoiled, but I'm not a brat. I'm close with all of my siblings and mom is like my friend. And as the youngest, most of the time, the things I want were always provided for me. But in return, I'm a very good sibling to them because I always take care of their children. ***as a friend*** **BULLY BUT RELIABLE** I just can't deny the fact that I'm a real bully. But not to the point that I'm hurting my friends. More like silly, naughty, or whatever term it is. I just love teasing and annoying my friends. I'm like their number one basher and supporter at the same time. Also, I am reliable as a friend since I also have a soft spot for them. Like on my nephews and nieces, I can't say no to them. Ask me a favor and if I can do it, then I will do it. I'm like that. Despite busy schedule, I always make sure that if they will need me then I'll be there. So come on, let's be friends! Haha ***as a Christian*** **TRYING TO BE OBEDIENT** As a Christian, I am really trying to obey what God have told me to do. To follow where His calling in my life. I still have so much flaw in being a Christian, everyday is a struggle and everyday is a battlefield which I should survive. As of now, I am trying to have a deeper connection and relationship with Him by being consistent on my daily devotion. And just recently, our 30 Day Scripture Memorization have ended and I was able to complete the challenge to memorize a verse a day. In fact, I'll be joining the quiz bee about the challenge that will happen this 30th of May. ***as myself*** **LAID-BACK** Me, being just myself is a person who is relaxed and easygoing. I don't like complicating things. I'm just a chill person who easily forgive and forget. I don't think about problems, instead, I let problems think of me. I always view things positively, at the very least, as much as possible and as long as I can. I am easy to be with. It's so easy to make me happy and I appreciate simple things. I'm just a simple hooman being, that is how I can describe myself. hey again hoomans! I hope that you were able to know me well even just through this article. These are all me, on different roles that I have. *How about you? Who are you and what are your roles in life? Let me know more about you on the comment section below. :)*

Month 4: The Fall of the Rocket Ship Four months ago, I wasn't even aware of any cryptocurrencies. I only know bitcoin, just bitcoin, as in literally the word bitcoin because that's the one I always see on pop-up ads. Those ads saying that it'll make me a millionaire which I always ignore because of the mentality that it's just a scam. **Four months ago,** during my first month here, I still don't care about crypto. More specifically, I don't pay too much attention on Bitcoin Cash. My only focus is on $$$$ which I am trying really hard to earn here. **Three months ago**, during my second month here, I have learned to love BCH more. That's when I decided to hold on for dear life having the hope that BCH will fly me to the moon. Though I have learned a bit on this month, it didn't give me enough drive to explore what lies beneath and ahead cryptocurrencies. Month 2 and I still didn't make enough effort to know more about this universe that I just entered. **Two months ago,** during my third month here, I explored a little bit. I finally find the drive to educate myself about this universe that is so alien to me. I watch few videos on YouTube about what is cryptocurrency and how it works. Blockchain is the word I have encountered the most. And oh, I tried trading on this month too. Well, just spot trading on Binance and that's where I have come to know different Alts and Tokens which I don't really know from before. **A month ago**, or more like, just this month, as I made my fourth month here, nothing much really happens. I took a break from writing here because I had to focus on my studies. I was trying really hard to focus on my requirements on school but the market has been so distracting. It's bleeding a lot. After the rocket went so high at the space almost reaching the moon, maybe a malfunction or something happens that it fall down so hard bringing it back to the surface of the Earth. It has been 4 months oh such a roller coaster experience and it's just fun reminiscing about it every month and to see the progress and the new knowledge that I have gained on the past months. I'm still a crypto noob and my stay here is still not that long, but let me just share to you how do I remain calm while seeing the market bleeds. I entered the market when BCH value is only **$400**. Nothing too bumpy happens on my first month here since I don't really care about its volatility as long as there's amount on my E-wallet then it's all goods. On my second month, BCH hits **$700** and I am so happy but my happiness drops when BCH drops down too at **$500**. Month three, I tried to recover my loss and seems like the market allows me for the value slowly rise up again to $600. Month four, BCH hits its ATH this year which is **$1600** and that's when I took advantage of it. I have sold my BCH so that I can convert it to USDT to escape volatility. When I already sold it, it was a bit funny because that's the time where I get those people who are wishing for the price of BCH to go down so that they can take that as an opportunity to buy during the dip. So I sold my BCH at **$1500**, then I thought **$1200** is already good enough so I bought at that price. I use all my USDT to buy BCH at around $1000 and $1100. When my order was fulfilled, I set a sell order at **$1500, $1600, $1700** and **$2000** then sleep. I woke up next morning only to see that BCH go down even more at **$700**. To cut it short, I don't want to look at my portfolio right now so that I will remain calm and won't think about my losses. Also, I have faith in BCH that it will rise again, and it'll fly me to the moon. When I started trading, I was afraid to but other coins despite doing my own research, I don't have the assurance that I will earn from the crypto that I'll buy. It's only on BCH that I'll use every penny that was left on me to buy some of it without any hesitation. Another thing that's keeping my sanity is this certain wallet I created on my bitcoin.com wallet. I have this giveaways wallet wherein I funded and use the funds by sharing shareable links on my noise.cash account from time to time. https://noise.cash/u/immaryandmerry Total funds: $2.24 Total spent: $1.60 Supposed to be total left: $0.64 Actual total left (BCH Value - $664) - $1.11 Earned: $0.47 **As you can see, despite all these crazy market going up and down, despite BCH going to dip, technically, I've still got a few more to spare. I didn't actually lost. In fact, there are still quite a few earnings left on me.** Knowing that I entered here when BCH is still $400, and having it at $664 now won't make me panic. I have come from much lower price. I have experienced riding towards the moon and going down again, and yet here I am, still not losing anything. Keep calm and just hold, folks. BCH won't fail us. This bloody market shall soon recover and will fill our eyes with a lot of greens. ***It has been such a crazy four months with y'all. I'm forever grateful that I have come to discover this such amazing haven that has given me an opportunity to earn some BCH on the side. To more months with read.cash and noise.cash!*** =) Lead image: GIF via Giphy. Source: https://giphy.com/gifs/space-fire-kjjRGpezebjaw
