Pawsome catventure I
My vacation happened during finals week. But my requirements will not stop me from having a good time. Speaking of good time, I can think of 4 animals who had one last May 20-23.
As pet owners, it is difficult to travel because we can not help but worry what to do with the pets. Should they be left behind to a trusted person or should you include them in your travel plans.
For the three of us, we decided to bring our pets along our stay in the province. First is me alon with Oreo, and Presto. Then there is my older sister and Moshi. Last one is Ate C (my sister's bestfriend) along with her dog, Beau.
I knew that it would be difficult to enjoy when I have to worry about the pets but it is still fun. And I like to think that our pets had a great time too.
On the way
We rented a vehicle since we did not want to go through the trouble of commuting with pets. It is a great decision since we were able to have the space we needed.
Here is Moshi, Oreo, and Presto. Moshi is not inside a carrier since when she was a puppy, we tried that and she vomitted throughout the ride. She gets dizzy easily so we let her sit with us and be comfortable. The kittens are in a carrier since I am unable to hold them both at the same time. Moreover, I needed to attend a class on the way to Batangas so I can not keep my attention on the kittens to make sure that they are going through various places and disturbing the other passengers.
Moshi likes looking at the view as we travel. It calms her when she can see outside as compared if we just let her sit on the floor. She also likes it when she is cuddled. She does not care even if my sister's legs go numb.
And after mny hours stuck in traffic, we finally got close to our destination. After we enter this arch, we only needed to travel for 20-30 minutes to reach the place where we were staying. It was nice sight to see since our legs are all aching and going numb already.
Arriving at our destination
Once we arrived at our destination, we of course needed to get our things out of the vehicle. I left the kittens outside first since many people will be moving out and about to settle their things.
I opened their carrier and let them watch the view outside. They did not want to leave their carrier at first. Probably because they are still new to the place.
So I set their food bowl near their carrier so they can eat when they want. They did not eat it immediately. But still after a few minutes they started eating. Once they are done, they became curious about the new environment.
I carried them to the kubo (hut) so we can relax there. They made claimed that soot as theirs. They slept there the whole day when we arrived. They only wake up to yell at me to say that they are hungry.
Moshi and Beau looks like they are guarding the place. It is funny to see. They are curious about the place. Beau liked the grass and he kept playing with the goats. Moshi on the other hand, enjoys the space to run around.
This is the kittens' version of the picture above. I was a bit late in taking a picture of it because I was laughing a lot so Oreo was already on the move.
Closing words
I still have some more pictures of the pets that I want to share. I will save it for next time though. For now, I just want to share what they looked like when they arrived at Batangas.
