Stop Thinking, Start Writing
January 28, 2022
The hands of the clock kept running and chasing time, yet my mind was still stuck at one point. The inevitable writer's block had just played and it seemed like my eyes were glued on a certain screen and my mind stopped processing and formulating thoughts as they just went in and out of my mind and were too tough to form them into words. Thoughts were overwhelming, yet, they were scattered and can not be written down.
My fingers just kept tapping this cellular phone and I seemed so lost and didn't know where to stop. I kept juggling from one tab to another, searching prompts on Random Generator. The more I juggled, the more complicated it was to think and form content. Until I gave up and opted to let this day pass and my drafted articles would be my savior. I took a breather and A Break From Thinking Through Reading, A Writer's Struggles that will never end as they would keep coming when emptiness takes over.
And a few minutes before the long hand of the clock hits noon, I came across with @Eunoia's article about, Writing Is Either Destiny Or A Challenge, Make It Yours? Then a light bulb went on in my head and his article just gave me an idea of what to write down.
I then asked myself, why make things complicated when I have everything in my own feed? What's Holding You Back? Unblock Your Writer's Block! What are you waiting for? Stop thinking, start writing! After several hours of struggling, I settled down in one place, and finally, The Will To Write was resumed and I just Let Everything Flow.
Indeed, we all must learn how to write as it is one of the basic skills we have to acquire as a person. From when we were young until we grow old, writing is and will always be part of our lives. However, writing and making content and blogs are two different stories. We can write anything, everywhere, at any time when it comes to ordinary writing. Yet, we can't write easily at any time when it comes to content writing.
Just like many of us on this platform, writing wasn't my forte too before I stepped into this digital world. This is either a challenge or a destiny, but both I should say. We were destined to step on this platform to challenge our capabilities to write. And due to our common denominator, we accepted that challenge until writing becomes our forte. From Reluctant To Versatile Writers, The Art Of Shaping Words has molded us to become real writers in our own genres.
And it is true that, When Writing Becomes Your Passion, Your Mind And Fingers Will Work Like A Keyboard. Although thinking about what to write each day is another challenge that we have to withstand. But when writer's block takes over, we just have to unblock it shortly before it totally ruined our motivation to write. There are a lot of stories to tell and a lot of inspiration around where we could get an idea of what to write about. We just need to be imaginative and Be Creative In Writing.
So if you feel like your mind is blocked and your thoughts are stuck, stop thinking and start writing. Shortly, those thoughts would be released and your fingers would correspond to your mind. And just let your imagination travel farther and express your thoughts through your fingers.
Instead of stressing out yourself of thinking about what to write each day, why don't you read other articles or check your previous articles? You wouldn't know what reading will give you. And why don't you try collecting your articles' titles and form a story by connecting them?
Just give it a try!
Happy writing and thanks for reading.
Drafted this yesterday after reading Eunioa's article.

I have experienced writer's block and it is dreadful. Especially when what you want to write doesn't find Expression. But, recently, I have less and less of those as I read through articles and engage other writer's works. That has been helpful.
