Decrease your worry and live more.
Living as a kid is very fun and fantastic. We just play, eat, sleep and repeat those things every day. We just worried about our homework and small things like toys, snacks, and playmates but once we have those, our worries fade swiftly. As a child, we did not bother where to get money to pay bills nor buy food for we have parents who think about those things.
As we are growing up, more responsibilities are adding to our shoulders and they are getting harder. Most of the time we realize that life is not as easy as we thought when we were young. We even thought that being a kid is better than being an adult for there are too many complicated problems and situations to be handled and responsibilities at home and at work. For instance, being on time at work, do reports, pay bills, take care of the kids, parents buy food.
Due to many responsibilities, we sometimes forget to enjoy our lives. We are preoccupied with many things. Things that we wanted to finish on time and things that we wanted to achieve in just a short period of time. There are no problems in having a mindset of working hard to pay our bills, make our family's life easier, and achieve many goals. But the problem is, we push ourselves too much to reach the top of our own mountain that we forgetting to enjoy every step in our journey. We are rushing everything that sometimes ended in falling and hurting ourselves. We should not live with too much stress and worries in life because if that happens, we exactly live less.
"We only live once, we should worry less and live more". It is easy to say yet very hard to apply in our own lives. But it does make sense, right?
We only live once. We must enjoy life by hanging out with friends, eat our favorites, travel here and there, buy all we want but the problem is, not everyone is capable to do it and can provide for their own and family needs without working because we are not born rich or very fortunate like others. This is the reason why most of us work too hard. However, it still not enough which gives too many worries, especially to those who have too many responsibilities to their families.
For us to live more and worry less, we must know how to de-stress ourselves in spite of having too many responsibilities.
How do we live more and less our worries?
Stay away from news where most information is too much exaggerated and fear-based.
Love yourself. Avoid competing with other people. Remember, everyone is unique including you. Always embrace yourself.
Give time to your loved ones. Having quality time with your family gives you happiness and makes you calm. Besides, this is also another way to enjoy life and to give and show them your love.
Treat yourself: Take a break and do the things that you love that make you happy. For instance, cooking, meditation, dancing, listening to music, or playing a certain sport.
Lastly, be grateful.
Living as an adult is not a piece of cake. Too many responsibilities, challenges and problems are always on our ways. These even make us worried, stress and anxious that we oftentimes forget to live more.
But remember, life is also full of fun and happiness. We only need to learn how to balance everything and remember to enjoy life too.
We are living not only to pay bills and work work and work. We are living to enjoy life while doing our responsibilities.
