Most of us always worry about everything in life, especially during this pandemic. We worry about our future, financial problems, friends, food, and being alone. Worrying is becoming a part of our daily lives. We always feel it every time we don't comfortable with someone or any situation/problems.
Is worrying helping you solve everything?
NO, right? Usually, worries are not good for us. Besides, it can affect our bodies. When we excessively worrying, this can lead to feelings of high anxiety and may cause us to be physically ill. Worrying about the future is simply trying to make sense of anxiety that has been triggered.
On the other hand, when it comes to your health there is something good to say about worries and repetitive thoughts.
Some stressful events like a job interview or a test can make anyone feel a bit anxious. A little worry or anxiety is helpful for it can help you get ready for an upcoming situation. For example, if you’re preparing for a job interview, a little worry or anxiety may push you to find out more about the position. Worrying about an examination may also help us study more and be more prepared on test day.
However, excessive worry or ongoing fear or anxiety is harmful when you can’t focus on reality or think clearly. People with high anxiety or who experience excessive worry have difficulty shaking their worries. When that happens, they may experience actual physical symptoms.
Can Excessive Worry Make me Physically Ill?
Yes, it can. Chronic worry and emotional stress can trigger a host of health problems. The problem occurs when fight or flight is triggered daily by excessive worrying and anxiety. The hormones also cause physical reactions such as:
Difficulty swallowing
Dizziness
Dry mouth
Fast heartbeat
Headaches
Inability to concentrate
Irritability
Muscle aches
Muscle tension
Nervous energy
Rapid breathing
Shortness of breath
Trembling
It makes you unfocus or distracted for you are thinking about how to solve everything and forgot to look for the solution. Worrying can convey negativity in everything which affects your mind and body. In the end, you end up failing and not teaching your goals.
Worrying is the feeling of being overly concerned about a situation or problem. A little worry or anxiety is sometimes helpful but most of the time, worrying or excessive worries can damage our mind and health.
Worrying too much is not good, so always do your best to calm yourself whenever there are situations that make you worry.
Lastly, always surrender everything to Him because He will not letting you alone in any situation.
I really pity some people who are having anxiety attacks.. If they only know what Christ have given us, they will be free...
