It's started with the disappearance of my Amby. Amby is our Dog, he's the sweetest and a clingy one. After he was rescued on our neighborhood, Mama save him from falling into deep sleep together with his sister. They both lived and happily grow in our simple home. They were treated as my Mama's child so basically they are my siblings lol. I actually publish an article about his disappearance: My Sweetest Amby.
My sweetest Amby, after a week of looking, Amby was never found. I'm sure he's starving now if he's still alive. He love foods so much that you can think of him as a pig. But it's okay to be like that, we indulge him. I even buy bread at the bakery for him. And because he's special, he's the only one who'll get the biggest and yummiest part because he's my baby. I treat him with care and love.
It was April 9 when he disappear and after looking for him in every place that he might go, in the market, on the next neighborhood, she even go to the plaza because we think he was just lost but to no avail, there is no Amby on that places. We are so upset and can't still believe that in just a night, we lost a dog and it's my favorite at that. I am so brokenhearted but what can we do, we did everything just to look for him but, nahh, still not Amby.
Lossing a dog that you treated like a family, a kids or a baby is just painful. It's more painful that when you lost your ex and choose someone bitter! But seriously, this one is more painful than when I cut myself with a blade. Physical wound can be tended but emotional pain on lossing a dog is far more different from it. We didn't put a fliers on different walls but Mama ask around if someone saw our Amby.
And then after this unfortunate events, another one comes after that of Amby. One of Mama's dog Barney, didn't eat for a day that's why Mama become anxious. Barney doesn't want to eat and will only eat Viands and it should be meat, she doesn't like it when it was with a rice that's why she just give her a meat, or chemkin. Pork is very expensive that's why she bought chemkin. She eat it and that's good. But not everyday is a happy day, Mama is not that well off to buy her dogs wants.
So their viand is fish with rice. But Barney who's very choosy when it comes to food didn't eat. And that continue for in a day, then Mama tries to feed her a pure fish with no others food like rice but still, she just ignore it. She's so thin na even id it's been just 2 days. But actually, because Barney is so choosy talaga when it comes to food, sometimes she doesn't really eat but once Mama give Barney's food to her sister, she will get mad and that's where she's going to eat. But she will not eat all of it.
She will leave a lot on her plate and only the fish or meat will be eaten, she's really a picky eater. Sometimes she eat once a day or two and that's just eat. Actually, she become different after she gave birth to her Puppy before but it's been a year already. After giving birth she become a picky eater. And just like Amby she's also very clingy. Actually, all of our neighbors is her friend. Even those strangers, she will walk closer to them, smell them and that's eat.
And yes, I remember this is the reason I think why she become like this, she eat raw meat from our neighbor. They sell meat and will bring it here and every morning they will give some to them and that's where it all started. 3 of our dog will go to the neighbors once they heard the sound of the tricycle. They already familiar with the sound of it. And they will run like a mad dog to get their treat. But it stopped when the one who's managing it resign.
They become more picky to the point that some of them will not eat for a day. But they eat bread, and they are not very fond in dog foods so Bread is the key. And then it's May 22 when she didn't eat for a day, even meat or fish she will ignore it. The next day she's like a drunk man who can't walk on her own, and that's the result of not eating for a day. And then May 23, she's just lying on her bed and she's having a hard time na on breathing.
Mama tried her best just to force feed her, milk, fish, dog food and meat but no. She won't eat. So Mama leave her like that, she thought she was poisoned that why she tried to force feed her of sugar but still no, seems like she can't open her mouth. And the May 24, morning Mama feels that Barney won't make it na because she's really having a hard time breathing and her eyes looks different na.
Mama then decided to dig the ground at the back of her house me because she said that she feel it, she feel that Barney will gonna die and she's just readying herself, she also bid her goodbyes to Barney so that Barney won't suffer anymore. She dig it while she's cooking for her eatery, like 6:15 AM something. After just maybe an hour, Barney took his last breath inside my Mama's house.
To some, Dogs is just an animal who can they pet to be a guard on their house. But to us, they are like a family, a kid. I know some people who instead of having a real kid decided to pet a dog and treated them as their child. I have a classmate like that. I also want that but I will find my Juwa first who will agree to get a dog as a baby and won't demand a real one baby, lol. before getting one. But we're still sad about this. It's hard to move on specially thay you are so used in having them beside us. I just hope that Amby was just lost at napunta sa mabubuting tao.

Some dogs get their bodies far where the owner can't find them, this happens when they knew they were dying.. like our dog before, a short dog color ash or somewhat like the color of a monkey. Her face was like monkey also and she sits like a monkey,jiju.. she went missing and we kept looking for her but none. Some said maybe it took its body to where she wanted to lay in peace. Bka gnun din nangyari ky Amby. As for Barney, she is happily running in the meadow na with her fellow dogs. Un nga lng naging sick xa b4 she drew her last breath
