Honestly, I don't. I never build a relationship with people with who I don't feel like it. I'm not a plastic person. If someone refers to me as a friend, it could be a compliment but I would refer to them as an acquaintance.

I haven't, even when dating. I only met one person that I met virtually, which is my husband. I am quite skeptical when meeting up with virtual friends but I am open to it, especially the friends that I've met here.

The weather in the Philippines is getting more hot and cold. It's hot getting hotter as it's summer so don't forget to take care of your skin. As soon as the sun sets, a cold breeze passes by my skin! My knees ache when I wake up or am I just getting older?
Some of us might be experiencing fever or flu as the weather changes every day. I know that getting checked up by a doctor may cost plus the medicine they will prescribe that's why most of us tend to self-medicate. I am not saying that self-medication is not okay, but it's still best to consult a professional especially if you experience another or a different symptom. Let me share something that you can take advantage of without spending too much for a consultation or doctor-check up.

I have once availed of the doctor consultation and mental health care offers through Konsulta MD app. I tried to use Konsulta MD app, when I had Covid last year. I didn't use my Gomo credits though. We paid for it via Gcash and I availed of the chat consultation as it is a bit cheaper than a video call checkup.
The chat consultation was a bit more time-consuming because it took longer for them to give more information. I was a chat support and I understand that they might also be taking 2 patients at a time and if you're talking to a professional, not all of them may have fast typing skills. Plus, they should also be quite more careful in giving out diagnoses or prescriptions. We don't want them to mix up the information with the other patients.
Using your Gomo credits is cheaper than paying in cash. How? The minimum data allocation or load that you can avail of is 30GB for 300 to 400 pesos, depending on the offer. Sometimes they have promos. For a regular check-up, it would cost about 500 pesos or more. Using your 5gb Gomo credits, you can already avail of a doctor consultation. If you'll do the math, you'll be spending less than a hundred pesos for a medical consultation/check-up. (If my math is correct hahaha!)
One more thing that I love is they are open 24/7 and you don't have to rush into a clinic or wait in line which could take 4 hours for a check-up. Just to give you an idea, most clinics or hospitals in the Philippines seem like they don't give urgency to patients. Maybe because most health professionals work overseas now for better offers and opportunities. So no wonder how our medical support fails the system.
*In short, the KonsultaMD app is more convenient, more efficient (somehow), and much cheaper if you use your Gomo credits.*
I also availed of the mental health care offer last 2 months ago that I haven't used yet. Once I feel the urgent need to consult a mental health professional, I will use it asap.

Inhale the future, exhale the past - part 1

People come and go. Some people stay, some may become distant, and some feel like they never left.
Just a random post for today's blog. This is just about romantic relationships that I almost had. Just a little disclaimer, I am happily married. It just so happened that I had a dream about a specific person one night. Just completely out of the blue.
I always believe that dreams have meanings this time I don't know why and what it exactly means.

I just remembered that song because of the word dream hahaha! No romantic feelings are involved. What was my dream all about?
I dreamt of a friend/person who I used to like before I got into a relationship with my now-husband. Let's just call him *Ervil.*
It was weird for me as in my dream, Ervil and I woke up beside each other. Talked about things I can't remember and told me he wrote a song for me. We talked and talked while cuddling and went out, and took a bus to go somewhere. I caught him staring at me and then I woke up.
Who's Ervil?
Ervil and I were colleagues at my previous company. He was my seatmate during training and became one of my teammates when we were endorsed into the production floor. (I worked in a BPO company). Me being a boyish type of girl used to hang out with guys most of the time. We drink, hang out in the smoking area, and roast each other's personalities and lives. (mas gusto ko kasing kausap mga lalaki kasi walang plastikan).
Ervil was one of the people I used to talk to about shitty and silly things in life. Our conversation was purely about experiences and jokes. No malice. We only reply to each other's messages when we feel like it, when we have time.
I had a boyfriend at that time but ended up things with him because our relationship was becoming toxic (the gaslighter). Ervil was also one of the people who would try to cheer me up.
One day while we were chatting, he told me that *'****inablat*** *mo nga ako kanina'* means in tagalog 'tinabla' or in English let's interpret it as snobbed? I didn't even know or felt like he was trying to do or say something. That line made think if he likes me or it was just an expression.
Days and weeks go by, we hangout but with other friends of course. Then I started to joke around and said I like him. That way, I won't be hurt if he really didn't like me. He didn't really say anything but rather say 'I'm just a nobody'. I admit that I felt kilig towards him. I was pretty honest of how I felt but we still remain friends. I don't really know how he feels but I felt like he doesn't want to be in an exclusive relationship and I let it be. I started fooling around and dating with other people, until I met my now-husband.
The relief
It actually happened right after he liked my current profile picture on facebook. It was just my baby picture.
I told a close friend of mine about my dream and told her that it was just so random. I decided to chat Ervil. I don't want to keep that dream to myself and not do anything because it will to my own confusion. I didn't tell him that I had a dream about him.
Now I am glad that I felt relieved because we still remained the same towards each other, as friends. We last chatted a year ago. We mainly talked about our how our lives has been doing, about how I got my license, how's his car doing, and what he's been up to.
Did I regret not pursuing him? No, because I am not the type of person who doesn't know if he likes me or not. I don't want a relationship with no labels.
Our relationship wasn't a situationship. It's like a fling but not a fling because we didn't even pursue anything. We just throw korny and punch lines and more jokes at each other.
Does my husband know? I didn't tell him or I don't know if I will tell him about the dream. I tell my husband every thing. We even still talk about our past relationships experiences. My husband knows that I have a friend like Ervil. I just don't know if he remembers hahaha!

Here's what happened when I got my driver's license.
Review
After failing the written exam on my first attempt to get a driver's license, I need to prepare this time. It's been more than a year since I took my theoretical driving course and I forgot what I've learned there.
I joined groups on Facebook and searched for reviewer materials. I saw one post that helped most people, they used the LTO Ph App and recommended a few videos on Youtube.

I tried the app and it was very helpful. The questions there were the actual questions on the exam too. Honestly, I was still scared of failing the written exam. I answered so many times until I can be consistent to pass. The exam has 60 questions and the passing score is 80% or 48 correct answers.
On the LTOph reviewer app, you can set a timer or set the number of questions to be answered. To be sure that I can pass the exam, I answered 100 questions and got a score of 89. From there, I am pretty confident that I'll pass this time.
The next thing to worry about is the practical exam. I almost became nervous about failing the practical exam too because I've been driving an automatic transmission car and it has been a year since I drove a manual car. I watched videos instead, just to recall a few things and tricks.
LTO Licensing office
Last year I found out that not all LTO offices cater applications for a new license. I went to LTO East on my first try, where I failed the exam. Now that my parents are staying in Bacoor, Cavite, LTO Las Piñas has a licensing office.
I went there around 10am because Lil B woke up the same as me. When I asked the guard for an application form, he said that they already reached the maximum number of applicants for the day. They only cater to 120 applicants for new driver's licenses or non-professional licenses. I asked what's the best time to come, it should be around 6am. They also don't have an online appointment scheduler. Deym, the office opens at 8am and I will need to wait for 2 hrs just to secure a spot.
I went back the next day around 6am and I there were already almost 20 people in line, me included.
Waiting inline
I watched one episode of The Boys in Prime video while waiting for the cashiers to open. As soon as they opened, we paid the application fee and waited for the examination room to open.
I thought I would wait for another hour or two before my turn to take the exam. I decided to play a ranked game on Mobile Legends and as soon as the game started, my name was called. I have to abandon the game, deym.
Written exam
Well aside from feeling confident, I was amazed that I was able to finish the exam in less than 20 mins.
I checked my answers again and counted the number of items that I'm unsure of the answer to, just to make sure that I'll pass.
Fortunately, I did!
I got out of the examination room and proceeded to the practical driving test area.
Practical driving
The instructor told me what to do. Just drive around the track and park the car in reverse.
My husband was a little bit proud of me hahahaha!
I told him, I think I passed the practical driving test too.
I paid the car rental fee that I used for less than 5mins, and then proceeded to the cashier to pay then waited for my Id to be released.
I find it funny that I almost got my license for free if I wasn't honest. Why? I'd been waiting for quite a while and when I heard my name, the personnel got a bit angry and asked me if I had gone somewhere else as she's been calling my name a few times. I said sorry and proceeded to verify the details and biometrics and waited for my name to be called again. I thought I will be called to pay at the cashier but when my name was called the personnel handed me the receipt and my license together with 3pcs of Flattops chocolate. I told her that I haven't paid yet. In my mind, I shouldn't have told her and just get my ID for free hahahaha! But karma is a B, and I don't want anything bad to happen so I still paid for it.
Oh before I forget, let me break down the fees I paid to get my Non-professional Driver's license.
600 for the medical exam
100 pesos for the application fee
250 for the car rental if you don't have a car to use in the practical exam.
585 for the driver's license fee
20 pesos for the ID case.
For a total of **1,555 pesos** ($28) already have my non-pro driver's license.
Fixers
I was actually considering getting a fixer to get my license before. Imagine spending 7000 pesos or more for a fixer and getting the license yourself is more practical. This is also to avoid what we call 'kamote drivers' on the road.
For those who are going to get a driver's license, don't forget to register on the LTO portal online. It is now required and will help you do other transactions online too.
Plus you can receive emails for notifications and reminders too.
I know my face looks horrible but at least I have a new ID now!

I am still gonna do it anyway. I initially intend to post photo dump articles throughout the year 2022. However, since rusty stopped visiting articles and personal dilemmas, I wasn't able to post or dump photos last December.
I already backed up videos and photos from my phone to PC but I still have a couple of photos left in my phone gallery. Let me share a few.
**Christmas 2022**
My husband was able to take a Christmas vacation and we decided to spend the holiday with his parents. We spent a week there our Christmas vacation.
**Spy x Family fam**
We are not big fans of this anime series but we love the concept and sometimes we feel like we are a spy family too. While we were strolling along SM Seaside Cebu, we were looking for gifts for my MIL. Then we saw shirts with Spy x Family prints. I immediately checked what other prints and if they have shirts for kids/toddlers.
**Cebu Oceanpark**
I asked my husband if we can go somewhere near to spend time at least with my FIL. Cebu Oceanpark was one of the nearest attractions to Mabolo, Cebu. My MIL wasn't able to come because she's still sensitive and with NGT. I'll share more photos soon.
**Taoist Temple**
The Taoist temple was just very near to my in-law's place but as much as it was near, we had a little trouble going in. Will post another article for that too.
**Supercat while raining**
You may be wondering why Lil B was just in her diapers and jacket. We didn't anticipate the weather at that time and a lot of passengers vomited on our trip. Yes, Lil B and I vomited too HAHAHAH! It was like a scary rollercoaster ride.
**Repaired**
This has been my baby bag for months. This was given by Lil B's pediatrician before we left Marikina. It was nice and I love that it's transparent, I don't have to open my bag for inspection when we go into establishments.

She love's to play with boxes. This box has multiple uses, it can be a bed, a house, a hiding spot, or a car hahaha!
**Failed one pot spaghetti for New Year**
I still decided to cook spaghetti for our little New Year celebration. I saw a video on FB on how to do a one-pot cooking technique. I tried it as we only have a single induction cooker, one pot, and one pan at home. I failed to use that technique but the spaghetti is still decent to eat.

**She loves cars**
We actually wanted to buy a toy car that she can ride but we can't for now. It will not fit in our apartment and she will not be able to enjoy playing it. Plus, we don't know how we will transport it if we leave Tacloban soon. For now, we just let her go to a playhouse if we have time.

EZ peasy not so easy!

I just want to share a little good news the other day. My father won the EZ2 lottery on March 14 draw!
Lil B and I were watching a movie this morning when my father said *'Con (my mother) nanalo tayo'* (Con, we won). He said it in a calm manner and asked me to check the date and time on his ticket. The draw was for March 14, 2pm. I told him to go to the ticket booth to confirm first. We don't want to be excited just to know that it wasn't qualified or if he didn't win at all.
My father took his bike and went to the ticketing booth. He was asked to return around 6pm to claim the prize as they will need cash first.
When he got home and told us that he really won. He has two tickets so he has to claim 2 prizes for the tickets. He said, he's been betting on lottery tickets for so long and it was his first time winning. Thought it wasn't a big amount but it will help them get by.
Honestly, when my father said he won, I thought he won the jackpot prize in the 6/45 draw which I know he would usually bet on. This time, he only placed a bet for the EZ2 draw.

My father placed a bet using my mother's birth month and day, 03 and 30 however, when he went to the ticket booth 03 and 30 were already full of bets. He decided to bet on the 30, 03 digits instead. The ticket costs 10 pesos each ($0.18) and he won 4,000 pesos ($73) for each ticket.
My father has been betting on the lottery since we were kids and this event made him and my mother happy at least in times of need.
I've been asking my husband to bet on the lottery too because he is sometimes lucky in raffle draws. I only won once ever since in my 30 years of life, won in a raffle draw. I won an air cooler during our year-end party back in 2017. I gave the air cooler to my mother.

I can still remember when I used to earn a few thousands after a year of joining this platform. Not only that we got to earn but we can also gain new virtual friends, we can also have an outlet for something, and we can improve our writing skills too. I can't deny that I missed writing and sharing my experiences. I got hooked to this platform because, some people can relate without spreading toxicity.
We are aware that when Rusty posted an article about giving his last tip, most users lost their motivation to write. We all felt down. I felt down too and ended up withdrawing all of my earnings from this platform.
I tried to check how the BCH's value is doing now and sadly, it's still going up and down the same value since last December. Getting Out!

A lovely day to all! Let's get back to grinding so new and old users can be more active too. Let's spread positivity and love. Before that, I just want to let share what happened in the last few months since 2023 started. It may not be a little positive but letting out how I felt makes my heart a bit lighter.
After I got a little better from getting sick for almost a week, my husband needs to go to Baybay, Leyte again for work. As usual, I agreed to tag along so Lil B and I can get some fresh air or at least get out of the house. It was still raining but I didn't care. We weren't able to go to the playground because it was raining. We just stayed in the car and watched her favorite movies while we wait for Daddy to be done with work.
While we were waiting, my husband's colleague knocked at the window of the car and asked us to eat lunch with her. It was our 2nd time meeting and she invited us to a place called **Westside Bistro.**
I wasn't able to take a picture of the place but I at least took picture of a little hanging out at that place. At that time I already stopped blogging so I wasn't in the mood to take a lot of pictures of the places and things that were happening to me.
Anyway, it was a nice place to eat, to be honest. The only thing is that it's a little out of the way but if you really intend to visit and eat there, you won't have any problems finding the place. It has a pretty spacious parking space and a nice ambiance too.
The food is okay, we ordered chicken and takoyaki as Lil B loves to eat takoyaki. Comfort room is nice and clean too. I would rate it as 7.5 out of 10 but I'd love to come back there to eat if ever we went back to Baybay again.
Lil B enjoyed the place too! There was a toy car there. She loves driving like her daddy. Her cousin has that toy too, so she knows how to play with it. When she saw it, she slowly walked and hopped in the toy car. We don't know whose toy was it but the staff there saw she was playing with it and didn't say a thing. Lil B was driving it all over the place, good thing that there were only a few people eating at that time.
We went home after lunch and relaxed at home with daddy.
I think I will need to check articles I saved here like random questions or articles, POVs something like that. I missed answering those kinds of articles too. Any suggestions?

New Year's day is one of the big and first holidays that the world celebrates. Most people celebrated New Year's Eve and New Year's day by visiting their families and friends, partying while working in the office, and hanging out with people that have a big part in their life. I just wished that we could've celebrated like that too.
It's just sad to say that we celebrated New Year's Day with no blast. I wish that we could've celebrated New Year's day differently for our Lil B. It is also one of the reasons why stopped writing articles on a daily basis. Me, feeling gloomy wasn't enough to describe my feelings at that time. It wasn't just feeling gloomy, I felt like another phase in that we were being tested as a family. Don't get me wrong, every person or family has their own trials or challenges to face but starting 2023 by crying.
Here's what happened...
***NO BLAST FOR 2023***
To cut the long story short, since 2023 started my husband's work schedule got more complicated. He has no days off from work unless the other party or office allowed him to. He barely got time to go home. He was just alone in the office being busy while other people (locals in Leyte) can go home and be with their families at the same time. Even on New Year's Eve, we weren't able to celebrate New Year's Eve/Day together too.
Night of New Year's Eve I felt really sad that Lil B and I got to stay in our apartment alone. I still insist on cooking something just to consider that we at least celebrated and welcomed 2023. I called my sisters and parents thru video call to greet them. When it was already around 10pm of 11pm. I decided to sleep, I decided to put Lil B to bed early out of sadness. I cried that we got to welcome 2023 that way. I told my parents and friends thru chat goodnight so I won't be bothered by happy greetings.
***RAINY 2023***
Since New Year's day, it has been raining every day in Tacloban. The worse part is, the street where we can only pass by to go outside of our street gets flooded about an ankle or higher. We can only go out and pass by if we have a car. We do have one but my husband is in almost every day in the office. If he's too busy at work, he can't come home and help me buy stuff and I ended up ordering food online instead. Aside from it being more pricy, sometimes the rider calls if the street is still flooded. It's a struggle for them too.
Lil B and I can't go out for a walk because it's raining. We can't hang out because my husband is too busy at work. Staying in the 4 corners of our little apartment, depression hit me again. Harder, but this time I got the urge to manage my actions at the least. I admit that it still reflects on Lil B which made me more guilty. I hate it.
***MOMMY GOT SICK ON NEW YEAR'S DAY***
Yes, I had flu cough because of the weather and maybe because my body is telling me something. Lil B and I were just alone in our apartment and I got sleepy most of the time. Good thing that whenever I fall asleep Lil B stays beside me just watching Tv. It's like she knows that I am not feeling well. Mothers really don't have the right to be sick because we still need to take care of our children.
I talked to my husband and asked or rather begged him if Lil B and I could at least go to my parents' back in Manila again. I can't afford to stay and feel that way for a while in Tacloban. I know that it's another hard decision because after 6 months of staying together as a family asking for another LDR setup could be harder. What I am worried about is Lil B's development too. Feeling anxious and depressed most of the time may affect her development too. I can't afford to lose my sanity again. Luckily and sadly, my husband agreed and it might be best for Lil B.
I realized that our Lil B is growing up so fast and is a very happy kid. Sharing this still affects me when I recall those things. Thanks for read.cash for allowing users to at least give us the freedom to share personal things and experiences that others can relate to. This platform has always been my breather and I am back, plus Rusty is back too. There's a lot to tell and I still have drafts here left unfinished and will probably finish it soon too.

It's been almost 3 months since I last posted an article here. I may be not alone when I say that I lost the motivation and the urge to continue @TheRandomRewarder posted an article that he had given his last tip.
Was it just a coincidence that it was my husband's late sister's birthday today and we are also hoping for some good news to come?
I admit that I tried to join other platforms too. I was able to post a few articles but I wasn't consistent in posting because I never thought that when my Lil B grows older, she became more clingy. Before I was able to post one article per day especially when she was asleep. Now, I can't even get up while she sleeps because if I do, she'll wake up after 2 minutes. So yes, I stopped. I heard a few crypto tokens that I have not yet withdrawn because I lack time to do so. I don't do things like that on my phone because I only use my phone for communication and entertainment purposes. My thumb hurts if I spend too much time on my phone.
A lot of things happened during my read.cash away months. I will share some soon, for now, let me just welcome myself back on the platform. Hoping that things will be better for us in the following days and months. Oh, I think I will also need to check BCH's value, I am quite intrigued.
Honestly, I don't know what to tell you guys. It seems that I lost my read.cash momentum when I stopped. Wait, let me just say I was out for quite a while. I was on hiatus too, like Rusty. Everybody needs a break, everyone needs time to breathe. I was even trying to find the ME in myself up until now. I am still trying to keep my sanity so I can still function as a person, as a mother, as a wife, and as a friend.
This article may be short but for sure I will share more things that happened when 2023 started.

Baybay, Leyte play
We had a chance to tag along with my husband for his work last year. He had an option not to attend this appointment because he was on mandatory leave but he chose to attend it anyway. At the same time, we can go out on a quick trip too. Mind you, it wasn't anything fancy like dining out, or going somewhere for quick sightseeing but rather just to take a sip of fresh air for me and Lil B.
We went to Baybay, Leyte. It was about a 3-hour drive from Tacloban.
Let me share a few things that we saw along the way.
The weather was a little bit gloomy but it didn't rain. I took a picture of the mountains because it looks like it snowed.
We saw a lot of a horses along the way.
My husband's appointment was in the afternoon and we left the house at 9 am. Before he attended the meeting we had lunch at a diner near the Metro mall.
After we had our lunch, we checked Google Maps for any place where Lil B and I can stand by for a couple of hours while Daddy is working. Good thing that there was a park nearby.
**Baybay Veteran's Park**
I was a little bit disappointed because the playground wasn't maintained. The slides were not that appealing and they could be dangerous for kids. As you can see in the first picture, Lil B just played with the stairs because at the end of the slide it was muddy. In the second picture, the other part of the slide was broken. Good thing that the slide in the middle was still in good condition.
Lil B on the other hand was a bit shy to play with the other kids there. She was just staring at the kids who slide and run. But as soon as the other kids left, she took her chance to slide. Honestly, the slide was still a bit high for her but she managed to slide alone on her first try.
**snack time**
My husband's appointment ended at around 3 pm. After that, we decided to have a snack with his friend who was also there for work. We decided to go to Visayas State University.
It's amazing that the ambiance and the campus were just like any UP campus. We had a snack with her daughter. We wanted her daughter and ours to see each other so they can be playmates.
After we had snack, we decided to go to their house so the kids can play more.
They even have Macopa or what they call Tambis. Lil B liked the fruit! We even asked if we can take home some so she can have some fruit to eat as her dessert.
We went home a little bit late than what we expected but at least we managed to keep lil B happy and busy for a bit.

It's been a few days since I posted an article. I know some of you might not care but I still love blogging here on read.cash as it has been my home for blogging. Don't worry, I haven't posted in other platform either. I wish I was but taking care of Lil B and taking care of my health is my priority. Happy baby, happy mommy!
Anyway this is just a quick update blog from what's going on. We travelled from Tacloban to Cebu to spend time and the holidays at my in-laws. Some of you might remember from months ago that my mother-in-law was in ICU for months and when we went back here in Cebu, she was again rushed in the hospital so Lil B never got to meet her in person. Now, we're here since Sunday and we are happy that they can now see each other. We are hoping that my MIL can recover faster by seeing her youngest granddaughter.
We can't stay long in the room or Lil B can't play much with her as she still has oxygen tube and NGT connected. We think that Lil B was a bit curious why her Lola has those in her nose. We also noticed that my FIL missed Lil B too. It's been months since they've seen each other and now, Lil B got back to familiarizing her Lolo.
TRAVEL TIME
My husband and I almost had a fight before we got here. We were battling between driving to Ormoc, looking for a place to park the car or commute. We had few options:
1. Park the car on his friend's office
2. Have the car for Preventive Maintenance Service in Ormoc and claim it once we are back in Ormoc.
3. Park the car on her sister's house.
4. Take a bus.
5. Ride a van.
Here are the cons about our options:
1. The parking is full.
2. My husband failed to ask Kia Ormoc beforehand if we can have it scheduled for PMS. What happened was last Saturday was their Christmas party and there are no parking spaces available and they can service the car the following business day. They can allow us to leave the car there but there were no parking space available. They suggested to have it parked to a payparking location which is a 2km away from their branch. We can't park it there because we will have to walk or commute going to their branch just to give the keys plus we have Lil B and a luggage.
3. I know that the third option should be the first option but he and her sister don't get along well. We don't want her sister to feel that we are only taking advantage or so to say show up when we need something.
4. We didn't think that there will be a bus schedule. We asked Visayas liner if they have a trip going to Ormoc on Dec. 17, sadly there were no trips for that day.
5. Riding a van is more difficult because we will have to pay for at least 3 seats and will cost more as if we paid for gas going to Ormoc.
I was so tired before our trip because Lil B and I went to the nearest EastWest bank branch to pay bills. My husband was supposed to do those tasks but wasn't able to because he was still in the office, extended his duty unexpected because of his co-worker.
FIGHTS
My husband and I usually had fights for things like this. I hate to hear things without solving the problem first. I want to hear options or ways to solve the problem before hearing things like 'we should've done this, we should've done that'. I don't want to play the blaming game because it's either his or my fault why it happened. Regardless, we should've decided ahead of time.
I do plan ahead of time but my husband doesn't. I kind of understand why, because of his nature of work but I also don't like when things like this happen because he's takes time deciding what or what not to do.

BLCKLIST on Silver and Me back on Mythic

Who's up for a quick Esports update? I am not a fan of e-sports but I do get to play a few computer or online mobile games.
I don't usually play online games. I got to play an offline mode Dota back then but I got bored. I thought even if I play it online, I'll still be probably bored because the game lasts too long. I only played a few computer games in campaign or story mode like:
Splintercell:Blacklist
Assassin's Creed
Tomb Raider
Batman
Hitman
Call of Duty
And a few more that I can't remember. I don't like playing online games. What got me playing a few online mobile games was one of my ex-boyfriends. I am the type of girlfriend who would adjust and explore my partner's interests so that we can get along better.
That's what got me playing Mobile Legends, it was around 2018. He only played Mobile Legends but the inner boy in me got me hooked on playing PUBG and COD too.
Recently, the International E-Sports Federation had a tournament that was held in Bali, Indonesia. There were different e-sports to compete with but I looked after the Mobile Legends Bang Bang game. The Philippines's representative is the lovely Blacklist International. I just love OhMyVeenus, their captain. I love how calculated she plays and read the opponent's moves. Blacklist won the SEAGAMES and other events too. OhMyVeenus and Wise have been also crowned as one the Hall of legend players.
I was just a little bit sad but at the same time relieved as Blacklist International won silver on the IESF against Indonesia.

They competed against Indonesia in their first game and lost 2 sets which made the team drop to the lower tier. There were issues with the device that they used as they would prefer an apple device but they were a Samsung smartphone instead. Correct me if I am wrong as I don't know the full details of what happened but there were speculations that it was the reason why they lost to Indonesia.
Don't worry about the lower tier, as expected they nailed every game which made them on top again. The grand finals were a battle between Indonesia and Ph again but Blacklist still lost and got the silver spot.
Thoughts?
Honestly, my husband and I were watching the streams and there were a few things that we find unusual about their gameplay. Like it wasn't like time.
Thoughts like maybe they didn't aim to get the gold or maybe they had issues with the device again. Whatever happened, I am still rooting for them and I honestly found relief that they didn't win because they would be too complacent. Plus it's boring if they would always win, there would be no room for improvement or even challenge themselves better on how already good they play.

It's been a while since I got up to Mythic Rank in Mobile Legends.
I started playing ML in its 12th season and it was hard for me to level up and find the heroes to master.
The season is about to end in more than 2 weeks. Usually, random players that you got to team up with are more toxic than when the season starts. The only thing that can help me rank up is to use Tank or Support heroes because most of the time, no one wants to be the tank. Look where it got me.
Now let me use my husband's account to rank it up. He's so busy with his work he barely has time to play.
I play ML whenever I don't have the energy to draft articles. It somehow chills my mind in some way too.

How can I go back to my blogging routine?

Blogging has been a part of my routine for more than a year now. I never thought of doing this but I still tried when I came to know about read.cash. Now, blogging has become a part of me.
What I love about Read.cash?
I met new people. Being a stay-at-home mom and far away from my family made me feel more alone. People that I got to know here made me feel like they were with me.
I got to practice writing. Even if I don't like reading and writing, I can still get my mind going by blogging.
I love reading personal experiences of other people.
It became my journal or diary.
People are not toxic here unlike other social media platforms.
We can't deny the fact that earning is one of the best experiences here.
I know that lately, the @TheRandomRewarder was missing in action. I know most of us sad about it. I on the other hand was sad but I take myself to blame. I've been not consistent like I was before. I haven't posted articles every day, I haven't visited or read articles more than I did before. I haven't interacted with other users like I used to. This is one reason why I kind of accepted why my earnings are so low for this month. I used to earn at least a dollar per article. I used to read and comment on 20 articles per day too.
What happened to my routine?
I lost track of what I am doing. I even drafted a few articles and topics that I have yet to post. Since we came back from Manila last month, I felt lighter. The urge to post one article per day was lessened too. Going back to Manila and visiting my sisters was a good thing for me, mentally. For my pocket or wallet, it wasn't.
Now I am battling if blogging helped me or not or maybe something in between. Perhaps I just have a developing toddler that made me want to focus on her first. I used to draft and post articles when Lil b is asleep but now she wakes up 2 to 5 mins before I got out of bed. I know that I can draft articles on my phone but I get the job done faster when I use a real keyboard.
How can I go back to my blogging routine?
This question has been running through my head for days, weeks now.
How can I go back to blogging...
Without sacrificing attention to Lil b?
Without falling asleep at the time I wanted to blog?
Manage my time without Lil b sticking with me 24/7?
I may not look like a very busy mom because I don't have a job or anything that would keep me busy or have many kids to take care of.
I am grateful that I can take care of and look after Lil B myself. That's what makes everything I do, worth it.

The Horror of a Breastfeeding Mom

The wonders of female human anatomy to bear a child and to provide food naturally in their bodies.
Let me just share a bit of my breastfeeding journey up to this day.
*DISCLAIMER: I am not against formula feeding. Breastfeeding and formula feeding has their own benefits. It's the mother's decision on what they prefer or what could work on their lifestyle.*
As for me, when I got pregnant I was battling between breastfeeding or formula feeding. I was actually inspired by my sister who's been breastfeeding for 3 years now. Me? I've been breastfeeding for 19 months.
How did I decide to breastfeed?
I decided to resign from my job when I got pregnant, and I haven't been employed since.
I weighed the pros and cons financially, bf-ing wins, of course.
Sacrificing my time and body to provide food for Lil B.
Being not employed, breastfeeding and taking care of Lil B myself is the best that I can do.
When to wean?
That should be decided by the mother too. It's always advised to breastfeed the baby up to 2 years old, but again it's a case to case basis.
Me? I have thought of weaning Lil b but as much as I want to, I don't know if my body and my motherly mind can let go of that thought easily. It's more like I want to get a job, have me time, but the mother in me says 'just a few years more or up until you can'. The question I ask myself is *WHEN*?
Running out of milk
This is every mother's worry. Whether for a bf mom or a formula feeding mom. It's very hard to think that we won't be able to provide the first thing that babies need.
I myself had a couple of problems when Lil B was less than a year old. Even if I drink more water, sleep more, get enough rest, drink supplements, STRESS is the biggest factor or reason why my milk almost ran out.
Last night
I got worried. While I was putting Lil B to sleep, she somehow transferred every few minutes from left to right boob. I got worried that she might not be getting milk. I asked her if she wants milk, she nodded. After a few more minutes of sipping she got up and played her toys instead while looking really sleepy. I got up too and put milk on her glass and let her drink. She drank it and after finishing, she played a little more and suddenly asked for more milk. That was the time that I know that she wasn't getting milk from me.
I got worried. This morning I told my husband if we can buy M2 concentrated drink from Andok's.
Right after we had lunch at Andok's, I drank M2 and then the magic happened. I can feel that I got my milk back. I have tried other lactation treats before and the magic really worked.
Reason?
Honestly, I don't know. Maybe I was just feeling a little bit tired physically because we went to my husband's Christmas party the other day. It could also be that I am unconsciously anxious about a few things. Maybe I lack sleep. I don't know. All I know is I am scared that I may ran out of milk too early than I expected.
I plan to breastfeed her up to 2 years old and slowly wean her, but not this soon. Please. Please. Please. I know my body gets tired from breastfeeding but it's very very worth it.

I Would Dye All Over Again

Yes, I would dye over again and again and again. I've had enough. It's time to end it.
HEY WAIT! I've had enough of blonde hair, that's what I meant. Yes, after 4 months I get to dye my hair again.
The last time that I dyed or bleached my hair was before we went to Cebu. It was around August and I only got to bleach my hair once. I tried to do my roots but due to lack of time, I only did one session of bleaching. You can even see the difference.
Months after I wanted to dye or bleach my hair but I don't have the time or someone to look after Lil B. Yeah, why didn't I think of going to a salon? Uhmm, because it's pricy and I don't want to blame other people if they damage my hair.
Anyway, I've been wanting to dye my hair again. It's weird for me to see my natural hair grow. I've been dyeing my hair for almost a decade now. I used to dye my hair almost every month or whenever I feel down. This time, I wasn't feeling down. Instead, I am getting annoyed with my hair falling thanks to postpartum. It's one thing that annoys me. I hate seeing hair on the bathroom floor, on our bed, and even on the floor.
Whenever I brush my hair with my hand, I can see how much hair I've lost, like a bunch. That's why I decided to cut my hair short again, preferred an undercut style but the hair stylist didn't do it. So to satisfy my hair craving, I decided to dye my hair again. At the same time, I can look decent enough when we go to my husband's Christmas party.
Unfortunately, the stores where I usually buy hair dye is not available here in Tacloban. It's either I purchase online or look for a store that has organic content. Due to lack of time, I resulted in buying a boxed dye.
We went to J&F and checked for any hair dyes available. Surprisingly the hair dyes are just cheap, for about 60 pesos. I just picked a color and picked up a few things too like lipstick.
I was also supposed to dye my hair that same night but I fell asleep. The next morning, I prepared breakfast and decided to dye my hair while Lil b was still asleep. After a few minutes of dyeing my hair, Lil B woke up. I let her eat and continue what I am doing.
Oh here's what I used.

Alright, let's start.
I have no hair dye bowl so I had to improvise. Good thing that the dye has a brush and gloves included.
Now, spread the love!!
Lil b even laughs at me while she was eating. Once done, I will need to let it sit for 20 to 30 mins. I won't do over 30 minutes because the chemicals are quite strong for boxed dyes.
One thing I didn't do is to do a patch test. If you are not used to DIYing your hair, a patch test is a must.
Now for the result. Here's what it looks like while it's wet.

TIP
Don't wash your hair before dyeing or bleaching your hair. Natural oil on your scalp and hair will protect it from being damaged.
Whether you use boxed or organic hair dyes, the color will fade faster if you shampoo every day.
The color will fade faster too if you are using an anti-dandruff shampoo
Don't just take care of your hair, the scalp is more important.
I won't be able to bleach my hair after dyeing it a darker shade. I'll wait until my hair is long enough to cut it off again then bleach it again WAHAHA. But most likely I'll use boxed dyes for now because it's easier to apply.

How we spent our yesterday?

Hump day it is! If you are looking forward to the weekend, for my husband it was just his first day of duty at work. Good thing that he wasn't that busy in the office and his boss let him go out for a bit.
I got very tired yesterday, maybe because my period started again. Oh, how I hate being a girl huh?
Apartment viewing
Anyway, I made an appointment for a house viewing yesterday. We are looking for a house or another apartment because we would like to save money for next year and since we lost our parking space here in our apartment.
We got disappointed because we thought we can get a house cheaper than our current apartment, get a bigger space and our parking or garage. Another expectation vs reality moment.

I was thinking if we can negotiate with the landlord about the rental fee but my husband said that it may cost us more in time we will have a few things repaired. A few things that we find a little bit off were:
The gate - one side of the gate's hinge is broken. So we will have a hard time opening and closing the gate at the garage.
Windows on the 2nd floor - there was an aircon installed and free to use for the tenant but the window frame was not sealed.
Roof deck - looked like they put sealant cement so the water won't leak.
Ceiling - there were stains on the walls and ceiling that may indicate that there's a water leak issue.
Oh well, it was a little disappointing as it's hard to look for a house or another place to rent here.
Carwash
It has been more than 2 months since we had the car washed. It's either we don't have money to have it washed or it was raining (the curse).
While waiting, these two humans kept on playing.
I asked my husband if we can have a snack because I am getting hungry and you don't want a woman on her period to be pissed off.
We decided to have a snack at Dunkin Donut and at the same time go to Mr. Diy to look for something as an exchange gift for their Christmas party.
Snack and shop
Mr. Diy was just beside it so we checked if there was something that we can buy as a gift. However, we got out of there empty-handed and went out to Robinson's instead. We thought we can buy an Aquaflask as his exchange gift but the smallest one, 14oz costs 550 and is already out of stock. We went to the department store instead and saw a folding laptop table worth 499.99 pesos ($10). It was funny because when we headed to the cashier to pay it, she said it was on sale for 399.99 pesos. We got sad because we might have to look for another item worth 500 pesos. I told my husband not to remove the price and just buy the table hahaha! No one will know except for us that it's only 399. We had it gift-wrapped and my husband asked me what design is better, I pointed at the ToysRUs gift wrapper and laughed. My husband got weirded out by my suggestion. I told him to be a little playful in things like exchanging gifts.
Then I felt tired and irritated because of my period and I asked my husband to have dinner at the mall because I don't feel like cooking. We ate at KFC but it took more than 30 minutes for them to prepare the food. I almost fell asleep. I just let Lil B watch Big Hero 6. It seems like it is her favorite movie. We've been watching it every day.
Now we are just waiting for my husband to pick us up and go to their office. I miss Christmas parties but I am more excited for Lil B to see more kids there too. I hope my husband wins in the raffle too HAHAHAHA.

This was taken nung nagbalik kami sa Manila. From Airport nagpunta kami sa QC para sa work ni husband. Tumambay muna kami ni Lil B sa Little Tokyo Milktea shop. Buti na lang mabait yung may ari at wala masyadong tao kaya nakatambay kami ng matagal tagal doon.

Talagang hinatak ni Lil B si ninang palabas para magwalk sila ng dog. Iniyakan nya pa na papasok na sa loob ng house at aalis na kami papunta sa house sa Bulacan.
Heto na ang house namin sa Bulacan. Hindi pa namin maparenovate ang first floor kasi naubos ang savings namin kaya magiipon kami ulit.

Lil B's first train ride. NagMRT kami papuntang Guadalupe para makarating sa kapatid ko. :)
Since may shift ang asawa ng ate ko sa bahay nila, pumunta na lang kami sa Ayala Circuit Makati during the afternoon. Para makabonding din nila si Lil B kasi almost 3 months na din since umalis kami sa Manila.
Nov. 17
After 3 months na pagtatago namin sa mga kawork ni husband sa Tacloban, nadala na din nya kami sa office nila. Sabi ko kasi sa kanya, dapat mapakita na kami sa office before sila mag christmas party para makasama din kami nyahahaha.
Nov. 26
Nakainstall na ang Fall Guys sa pc namin! Sa Ps4 ng ate ko lang dati nalalaro to kasi may bayad. Buti na lang nirelease ng Epic Games for free! Lagi din namin kinukuha yung mga free games sa Epic Games sayang din ih baka malaro namin kapag malaki laki na si Lil B. Antagal ko na din di nakalaro sa pc, yung Batman ko baka abutan pa ng susunod na release. Charooot!
Now I can transfer some photos to our pc so I can have enough storage again. I am sure na kayo din bilang mga noisers and bloggers andami nyong photos sa phone, mga random and memorable photos. As what they say, every picture has a story. So keep taking pictures while we can and habang may pangpicture. Noon kelangan mo pa ng camera at film para makacapture ng memories. :)

Breaking Dawn, Breaking Down

What makes a person happy? On the contrary, what makes a person break down? How does a person cope or recover from a breakdown? Was it justifiable? Do we even need to justify the feelings? Are my feelings valid?
It's been a month since things happened to me. Things that I thought I wouldn't do or I thought that I can restrain from doing as a mother. It has been more than a year since I gave birth to my daughter, Lil B as we call her here. Some of you stayed tuned for her monthly dress-up as a simple celebration up to her first birthday.
Let me share it again for good vibes.
I am just here to share what happened and what I found out last month. I was battling with myself, my demons. The demon that I thought wouldn't come inside me almost drowned and ate me alive. The worst part is, it manifested in my one-year-old daughter. The horror of being a damaged mother.
Being a first-time mom caused me to do a total adjustment, from 100 to 500. There were thoughts that I know to myself that I can do it, I feel it physically that I can. Boy, I got it all wrong. My strength was physical, and my weakness is my mentality and mental health.
One of the disadvantages of growing up in our era was the classic way of raising a child. The disciplinarian, authoritarian method wherein you learn things the hard way. I am very grateful to my parents but I just wished that they could've done it differently. Little did they know, their ways of discipline didn't work on me instead, they damaged me more.
Mom Guilt
Mom guilt was just pretty natural or normal for mothers whenever we were not able to do or provide things for our children. I've had a few of my mom's guilt moments but I made sure to make it up to Lil B.
Mom regrets
This brings me to the point of my story. I regret doing this and passing on negative things to my daughter. I am not gonna spill all the details as it still pains me. To my regret, I finally decided to ask for help, professional help.

After 'the deed' I was crying every time I take a bath and put Lil B to sleep. I felt like a totally different person than I thought I was. I never thought of doing such a thing but I still did. I didn't know what got into me, all I know is I just want to be alone, quiet, and have a peaceful time. I felt like I needed to get out, go somewhere, and talk to someone ALONE.
I checked their website and registration and unfortunately, the slots have been filled for that day. I tried registering for 2 days but still did the same thing. I haven't told anyone about what I did except for my husband. Then I decided to tell a friend of mine and my sisters. My sisters weren't that helpful because we are not used to discussing personal feelings, and instead told me that I can be considered harmful to my own child. My other sister suggested that I hire extra help so I can have my peace but that's another expense that we don't want to spend. Talking to a friend who understands helped a lot. She even suggested a few things to do and a few sites where I can get help.
I checked again on NCMH's registration and it opened! I immediately registered and got a confirmation email. I got my consultation appointment.
My husband was on duty on that day but he was able to get home just in time for the consultation. I passed Lil B to him to look after and got out of the apartment and stayed in the car for the consultation session.
It lasted for at least 45mins for the interview, initial diagnosis, and prescription.
I told everything the doctor wanted to know and came up with an initial diagnosis of ***Dysthymia or Persistent Depressive Disorder (PDD).*** Correct me if I am wrong, but it's one form of high-functioning depression wherein you can still function while experiencing symptoms of depression and symptoms may persist for at least 2 years or longer.
The doctor gave me a prescription for Escitalopram (anti-depressant) 5mg to be taken in the morning and evening. The only thing that scares me now is Lil B might also be affected when I take the meds. I am still breastfeeding and though there was just a little amount that can be transferred to breastmilk, I can't still take the risk. I was advised to take the prescription for 6 months so that I can feel the effects and would be better along with a psychotherapy.
The doctor also scheduled me for a follow-up consultation on Nov. 10, however, they don't do online follow-up consultations anymore it will be face-to-face in Mandaluyong City. Honestly, I got scared and my friend made a joke out of it. It was scary because there was a mental facility there.
I can't even afford to do the psychotherapy as it may cost $40 per session, plus the meds which cost $10 for one month prescription. So that's a little over $50 per month.
My friend and I joke about our condition that it's very costly to be a human and we just want to be a hotdog in the freezer.
HAHAHAH!
What do I do about it?
I can't think of any ways to deal with it. I just literally talk to my inner demons to stop thinking things that I don't want to do when Lil B gets fuzzy or out of hand. She doesn't know what she's doing and keep it to myself. I am stopping the cycle. I will not let her be like me.
Good thing that my husband decided to bring us along with him when he went to Manila last month. Honestly, it helped a lot and I am hoping that we can get from fresh air from time to time.

Friday Happenings and Goodbye Noise.Cash

A happy new week and in just a matter of days or weeks it's Christmas time again. You must be feeling excited to celebrate the holidays as we can celebrate it as an almost normal celebration since the pandemic started.
I am getting excited to celebrate the holidays in Cebu at my in-law's side for the first time. I hope it goes well.
What's up with me lately?
Just taking time to get back to my blogging routine plus blogging on another platform.
Take me back to last Friday.
Lil B and daddy had a little playdate while I got my haircut done.
It's my husband's first told accompanying Lil B in a playhouse like this. The last time we went to a playhouse was when we went back to Manila. My husband wasn't able to accompany Lil B because he had a phone call for his work. I am happy that they enjoyed their time playing.
When going into places like this, you can never tell if there will be kids who might get in trouble with other kids. My husband mentioned there were 2 boys on the slide who shouted, 'WE DON'T LIKE GIRLS!', while Lil B was just getting up on the slide. The other kid climbed up from the slide quickly as if he doesn't want Lil B to take a slide. Lil B somehow got scared and rushed back to daddy.
Aside from the part that I got disappointed with my haircut, I am still happy that Lil B and daddy had fun.
Pancake House
We were about to go to J&F (it's funny I would always say J&T) to buy groceries and household stuff that we would normally buy in Shopee however, I felt that it would cost much like charging for shipping fee that would cost as much as the item or less than the item. That's why we ended up buying things on the physical store even if the price is a little bit higher than Shopee.
Anyway, our kumpare called and he was already on his way to Robinson's Mall were we just got off. We went back to Robinson's to meet him and had meryenda. We planned to eat at Dunkin Donuts but the branch is too small and there are no vacant seats. Instead of going to the Dunkin Donuts Palo branch, my husband has been mentioning eating in Pancake House.
Our kumpare will go to the airport as he will go back home to Cavite. We just had a little bonding while eating meryenda and dropped him off to the airport.
J&F
We are supposed to go home but we still decided to do grocery and buy a few household things at J&F.
We just took chance to look for the things that we need at home. The last time we went there, they didn't have the items we were looking for. Seems like we were in good timing and they have restocked some items.

I can't deny that I got sad to see that message. I still remember that I used to earn as much as a dollar a day during December of last year and hoping that might happen again. Unfortunately, it didn't happen again.

Once Upon a Haircut

Hair is our crowning glory. We feel beautiful whenever we style our hair. Whether you have long, short, or no hair at all, as long as you carry it with confidence, for sure you'll look good.
I love styling my hair. I started when I tried to cut my bangs when I was a child. Charot! Well, I might have gotten my mother's skills as she used to have a parlor back then.
This is how I looked after cutting my bangs.
But seriously, I started to cut my bangs when I was in college. My mother was the only one who cuts my hair and haven't been to a salon until I had a job.
I've always felt scared that other hairdressers might ruin my hair that I ended up cutting mine. I wanted to be a hairdresser too but I don't have proper training and experience with other people.
Yesterday we went out to Robinson's Marasbaras. After we had lunch, my husband wanted Lil B to play in a playhouse there. While they were playing there, I told my husband that I'll look for a salon so I can have a haircut. I want to cut my hair shorter again because my hair fall is getting worse. Perks of postpartum.
There were a few salons there. We saw David's salon and upon seeing it my husband told me that I can get a haircut there. I said I'll look for another salon that has a cheaper rate.
I saw a salon near the playhouse and checked if there were people in line, and then I asked how much it'll cost for a haircut. I saw no people in line and they offer $3 (150 pesos) for a haircut. Alright, I bit the offer, sat down and told the hairdresser that I'd like to get an undercut hairstyle. The conversation goes like this:
**Me**: I'd like to get an undercut style and just trim the long hair that will be left.
**Hairdresser**: Are you sure?
**Me**: Yes, I've had an undercut style before. Let me show you a picture of the style that I want.
**Hairdresser**: (prepping me for a haircut) okay
(me checking my Facebook and my previous hairstyle that he can use as a reference but the internet connection was poor)
**Hairdresser**: (shaving ng hair)
**Me**: (the picture loaded and showed him the picture)
**Hairdresser**: *shocked* Are you sure the shaved part is higher?
**Me**: yes because my hair is falling out and I wanted it to be as short as this. Then I can have a part of my hair to cover my forehead too, like long bangs.
**Hairdresser**: okay, but it's too high for you and will make you look like a man.
**Me**: *resting face* okay do what you feel will look good.
From that moment I am already pissed and he cut my hair like he was in a hurry. It took him about 10 to 15 mins to do my hair and I didn't like the result.
Here's how long my hair looked months ago.
Then I decided to cut my hair shorter because I am getting irritated by my hair getting longer. The last time that I had hair this long was back in college around 2010.
I didn't cut it well because I planned to redo or finish cutting my hair once I have the time, which I didn't get. Plus, I don't have hair cutting scissors and shears that I used to have before. I only used regular scissors here.
Then after going to the salon yesterday, here's what it looks like.
This is not the style that I wanted. They did a hairstyle based on what he liked and just because I will look like a guy. I want to tie my hair easily with a man bun. I don't mind looking like a boy because I've been mistaken for one before I gained weight and I am boyish so yeah. I would appreciate his opinions about the style that I wanted if he said it doesn't suit the shape of my face or something like that, not just because I will look like a man. Ugh!
Oh, I forgot how ridiculous what he did to my hair.
See the area of hair ear the door now at the back? That will most likely fly away if I don't blow dry my hair after taking a bath. It wasn't layered properly.
The only salon that I trust is T&J Salon which we don't have here in the province. I've had a great experience in 2 different branches. The first one is in SM San Mateo, where I had my first undercut style done.
I simply asked the stylist to do a ruby rose undercut hairstyle and no questions were asked.
Here's another one from T&J in CyberPark Araneta Center Cubao branch did to my hair. I didn't know what style I like and just simply asked the stylist to cut my hair short or a pixie haircut. The thing is the upper part of my hair is blonde and the bottom layer is my natural dark brown hair which is an undercut that has grown. The stylist said, 'okay, how about I make it look like you'll have blonde highlights?'. I said 'sure! Do your thing.' and I loved the result.
After telling my husband about what happened, he told me don't go back to that salon again and that I should have gone to David's Salon instead. Probably I'll get another haircut by next year or after 3 months. Another option is to buy my own hair cutting scissors and shears. Hmmm....

As the last month of the year came in, let's welcome our December with excitement and happiness! For sure most of you are excited about the Holidays. Did you receive your 13th month's pay? Well, good for you! I miss the feeling of getting a Christmas bonus or the 13th month. As a full-time mom, there's no such thing.
Anyway, before we wrap up 2022, let's see how I did for November. I already know that I didn't earn as much or met my goal but I am still going to post it anyway. This just serves as my tracker.
Read.cash
I was able to publish 16 articles and earned $18.51 in total. My articles and interactions lessened to more than half too. I am thankful that I got a new sponsor @ErickMontajes I also feel bad that I haven't renewed my sponsorships due to the earnings that I got last month and I am hoping that I will make it up to them once I can get my feet back up here.
Noise.app
I mentioned on my October earnings blog that I was able to earn a decent amount on Noise.app. I even assumed that if I get the same rate and tips going for a whole month I can earn as much as $15 a month there. For some reason, I stopped receiving tips for days or even weeks. I thought it was just because I am posting and interacting less, it turned out that other users were not getting tips for days too.
In total, I was only able to earn $5 for the month. It's still not bad compared to what I used to earn in Noise.cash. Probably I'll try to be active in all platforms again.
Hive
I've been joining prompts or contests in Hive which I find enjoyable and interesting. I was able to post 5 blogs last month and turned out that I was able to earn more than I expected. The only sad thing is I still haven't learned how to withdraw my earnings or even how to put my earnings to proper use.
I wanted to join a webinar but having a clingy Lil B puts me in a position where I can't do anything but just look after her every minute of every second. I can't even find much time to draft articles on both platforms and sometimes I ended up cross-posting my articles. Whew!

We Went Back to Manila - 1/4

It's nice to be back on the platform again. It's nice to keep my blogging routine back and going. I am still adjusting to the shenanigans for the last two weeks and I hope I can reach my goal for this month. Well, most likely I am not going to meet my goal but I will still try, I still have a couple of days so HAHAHHA!
From the title itself, yes we went back to Manila unexpectedly. It was work-related and my husband needs to go ASAP. We thought it would not push through but he was informed it was a must.
Stressful decision
It was a very very stressful decision, financially. We are barely saving money and we even almost used up half of our credit limit on my husband's credit card. Our money was just literally enough for us to survive until the next payday.
My husband insisted that Lil B and I will tag along. Booking the next day is very expensive, though my husband's travel expenses will be reimbursed mine and Lil B's will be coming out from our own pocket.
Reasons why we should go to Manila
We can visit our house in Bulacan (which we haven't finished renovating)
It's been raining and during typhoon Paeng my friend, which is also our neighbor visited our house to check on its condition. The last time that my parents visited our house, there was a big crack in the wall, but we were surprised that it hasn't been repaired yet.
We can be an excuse - My husband hasn't told his office that we've been staying here for months now. Once we go back, he can introduce us to his office so we can visit him there from time to time.
Since we can't handle and are unsure of our expenses, the last resort was my husband will be the only one to travel.
My husband asked me if I wanted to go back to Manila and visit a few friends along the way. I told him, yes I would love to but given our financial situation, I wouldn't want to take the risk. I think my husband really wanted us to come so I can take a breather from whatever bad juju we have here in Tacloban. I was becoming more emotional/depressed and I ended up asking for professional help. (I will share about it in time).
Part of me was happy when we confirmed that my husband will travel to Manila. Happy in the sense that I can go back to the city and I can feel myself again. Partly anxious because of the expenses and what are we gonna do financially when we go back. Oh, I forgot to say that it was just a very very short trip. We just stayed there for 4 days, including our travel time.
Booking
My husband asked me to book the flights separately so he can reimburse his travel expenses. I was manually checking airlines to airlines which one has the cheapest flight on the next day. Cebu Pacific surprisingly was more expensive than Air Asia. I usually book flights on Air Asia anyways. We used my husband's credit card as the payment method and then I tried to book my and Lil B's flight. Lil B doesn't have a regular charge but was only charged for an infant fee of 1,000 pesos ($20). When I was about to check out our flights back and forth, the payment didn't go through. Damn, the credit card has reached its limit and we were just over 500+ pesos. My husband needed to go straight to the ticketing office to book a flight and pay in cash.
We went to the mall to book a flight at the ticketing office and when we asked for the total amount for the return flight, it cost 2000 pesos more than what we expected based on the booking that didn't go through. We didn't think that the ticketing office charges more than booking directly from the website/app. Sheesh!
Ohoooy! Let me just end it here and will continue sharing what happened and what more challenges we encountered during our trip.
Just a few more days before Christmas and a lot of people are getting sick. Take care of yourselves, drink vitamins, and fruits and rest whenever you can. We should enjoy this year's Holiday compared to the last two years of celebrating with travel restrictions.

Listening to music never fails to make things better for me. Music is my happy pill whether I feel happy, sad, troubled, sick, or tired of this world.
Not only music makes me feel better but I used to play guitar to make things even better. I used to be a person or a teenage girl who doesn't know how to express my feelings and learning how to play guitar and playing one has been my outlet for feelings.
I can still remember when my father used to force me to learn how to play guitar. I was in 6th grade when he insists that I should learn at least one instrument to play. I even tried to learn how to play a flute, recorder, or piccolo he got from somewhere. He let me learn it on my own and I got tired because he didn't even teach me how, so I stopped.
Then when I got into 2nd year of high school, I had a girl classmate (a transferee) who plays guitar. Damn, I thought she was really good and I got insecure. I suddenly had the urge to learn how to play. I had to. I knew I can be as good as her, until one day I did know how to play guitar. I was one of the girls in the school who plays guitar, not like a newbie. From that moment, I used to strum and learn new songs whenever I get home from school. My mother even scolded me every time she heard me playing in the room because I haven't done my homework yet.
The only thing that I hate when I play guitar is my hands get sweaty, and it drops from my hands when I play. Imagine seeing drops of water on the floor after a song, if I play 5 songs it'll look like water spilled there. UGH
The guitar is the only musical instrument that I can play decently, it has become my favorite. I'd still prefer playing acoustic guitar to an electric guitar. I didn't get the chance to learn how to play an electric guitar when it comes to sound effects like pedals and other things.
Even if I don't have that superb skills in playing guitar, I at least know how to play a song decently. I learned how to pluck, play power chords, read tabs, tune by ear (which I still have a hard time with, especially in noisy places), and a little bit of transposing chords. I can I am on the advanced skill but I didn't get further than that haha! I simply lacked the time to play, learn and step up my guitar skills.
On a side note.
Remember the transferee girl that plays guitar when I was in high school? After being insecure about how good she plays and sings, she even taught me more about playing guitar. Even invited me to play with his former schoolmates/bandmates. Suddenly, my insecurity about her skills became my inspiration and motivation. It made my heart so happy, that she didn't laugh at my skills but instead helped me get better.
I miss playing guitar though...
I wanted to share a clip of me playing guitar but it's not supported. I hope that Lil B learns how to play guitar when she already can.

Through Sickness and Health

I was sick got better and got sick again. Sometimes being sick gets to be in favor in some situations but for a full-time stay-at-home mom, I can't afford to get sick. I wanted to get better right away because even at home I still barely get some rest. I was just thankful that Lil B got better as soon as I got sick.
Lil B was sick
While we were on our way back to Tacloban from Manila, Lil B had a fever and flu. Good thing that her fever only lasted for a day and her flu lasted for a couple of days. I remember I woke up at 2 am in my sister's house and felt warm despite having the AC turned on. It was Lil B, she had a fever. As much as I wanted to go back to sleep, I need to monitor her temperature. I check her breathing too, to make sure that her nose wasn't clogged. I barely got enough sleep but as soon as my sister woke up, had to breakfast, and do their thing, I was able to take a nap.
Having flu, fever or cough will get you paranoid because of COVID-19. I remember we had COVID-19 when we traveled to Cebu a few months ago.
When we got back and bought groceries, I saw Ceelin vitamins in one aisle and I told my husband, I haven't bought vitamins for Lil B for months now. It slipped my mind from all of the things that's been happening. I felt bad and blamed myself because this might also be one reason why Lil B got sick.
Christmas Fever
It's not a happy Christmas fever season. Here in the Philippines, the weather gets more effed up during Ber months. One day it rains, typhoons, then the next day it's sunny as if it didn't rain and no typhoons passed. A lot of people might get flu and fever before and after Christmas Holidays.
Give me your Sipon (cold)
When Lil B had a cold, I remembered I told her that I will take it away from her so she can get better. To my surprise, she did get better, and I got her son. I thought it was just triggered when I cleaned and arranged our things when we got back home here in Tacloban. I had a clogged nose, and headache, and felt like it will get worse to Sinusitis. I've been drinking medicine for 3 days and always get drowsy. On my 4th or 5th day of having a cold, I told my husband to buy Neozep or Sinutab as my headache was getting worse and I can barely breathe when lying down. How can I breastfeed Lil B by not lying down, my back will hurt, and will not get enough rest again to recover.
Goodness gracious, after that day, I got better! I thought I can go back to my routine but no. It wasn't all that.
Hello UTI
After the day I got better from the flu, I got UTI. It wasn't the first time, UTI comes and goes. The only thing that I can think of as what caused to trigger it again was Coca-Cola. While we were in Manila, I was able to drink Coke for 3 days. Yes, for 3 straight days. I took advantage of it because Coca-Cola has been scarce in some places or the provinces. If you found one, it's pricy.
Aside from drinking Coke, my husband told me that it could also be the CR in our house in Bulacan. The water in our house there was disconnected so we have to get water from our neighbor. Plus, the first floor including the CR of our house wasn't finished yet. No electricity and wasn't that much.
Another reason could be the bad weather when I had the flu. I admit that I don't usually shower when it's a cold season because duh it's too cold. I wanted to heat the water but we're using an induction cooker and the electricity bill might go up again. I just change clothes but obviously, it wasn't enough.
The last one could be low immunity resistance. We traveled for a few days and each day was pretty exhausting. I wasn't able to get enough rest, sleep or even eat. I even forgot to drink enough water to keep me hydrated which lead to getting UTI again.

I asked my husband if he can buy Cranberry juice at 7/11 for my UTI. I didn't tell him that there was blood in my urine. He asked me if we can buy it the next day. I told him okay because I don't want to worry him that much too. However, the pain when I pee gets worse. He asked me where else he can buy cranberry juice, I told him it might be available in other convenience stores or drug stores. I told him not to go out as it was already late and they might not have one. One perk of living in the province is other stuff is not available here, which pisses me off.
Anyway, I just drank a lot of water now and then. The next day, I am thankful that the pain lessened. I told my husband not to worry about it as I will get better. The best medicine for UTI is antibiotics. However, I don't want to spend much just to get a prescription for antibiotics. I will have to pay for a check-up, urinalysis, or even an ultrasound before I can get a prescription. It'll cost more than 20$ which is a lot.
Realization

I usually get at least 6 hours of sleep, however, for the past week, I had less because we traveled back to Manila (husband stuff). Since we got back here in Tacloban, I had more than 6 hours of sleep because we had flu, and flu medicine made us very sleepy.
I think I've had enough sleep that I've gained back my energy and we are all back to our normal selves again.

I tried to join a gym when my best friend signed up. I told her that I will just try one session and will see how it goes before I decide to sign up too.
What did we do? We smoked and ate a lot after HAHAHAHAH! I remember that we went to the nearest McDonald's and ordered spaghetti, a burger, and more than what we can eat. That's what usually happens when we try to work out, we always end up eating a lot after. The first time we went out to jog, we decided to go to Dampa after and ordered grilled food and lots of rice. Definitely working out is not our thing.

Did I get more or less healthy? Honestly, I am not sure. Gaining weight after giving birth doesn't make me healthy 100%. It was my dream to gain weight but gaining weight more than what I expected made my body hurt. Even after a year of gaining much weight, I am still not used to it.

I try to hahaha! I do not have a sweet tooth but I do love salty and sour food or snacks. I love Coca cola too! I try to be careful by drinking or eating salty or sweet food by always drinking water after. Nothing beats very very cold water as my neutralizer for everything. I feel like it balances my food and liquid intake.

I don't really care about my body shape in the sense of my appearance but I do care about it because I am not used to having a bigger body. Imagine for 30 years, I've had a petite type of body and suddenly gained about 15kgs more after giving birth. My back hurts a lot, all the time. I can't move the way I used to. I get irritated when I walk or run while something bounces on my chest.
What can I do to change it? I don't know maybe by working out but I can't work out long enough without getting back pains.

What if there is no weekend?
NOOOOOO WAY! All people will suffer, all people will be drained and wala tayong layp! We need a break, kitkat nga eh. Have a break. Have a kitkat. Kahit gaano ka kahealthy or kalakas di kakayanin ng katawang lupa natin na walang pahinga.
I believe that weekends are there because it's there. Char! For at least a couple of days to gain back the energy that was lost during weekdays. Everything has an end, so there should be weekends HAHAHAHAHA MEMA
**If you could change something in your past, what would it be?**
It would be my gender. Char! De pero seriously, I got curious din and almost tried being in a romantic relationship with the same gender but di kinaya ng kaluluwa ko. So for the sake of my curiousity, das mah answer.

I would kiss and hug all the people dear to me. Yieeee di ako iiyak!
What if I become an animal, what would I be?
I would like to be a bird, that always fly away. I don't know where I'm going. I don't know where my home is. Charot na naman hahaha baka napakanta kayo!

**What if I can make a poem?**
I can but probably it will take me a very long time to finish it. It will be titled as 'Life'. Why? Lots of ups and downs are on me. Feelings are juggling, events turning around for some reason, and mind is boggling. I guesss that's how life goes for all people in the world. It's just the matter of how we cope and survive.
My heart is full and somehow recovered from the bad juju that I had lately. Minsan mahirap talaga maging tao. Minsan or madalas gusto ko na lang talaga maging hotdog pero wala akong hotdog eh, tska may little bossing na umaasa sa pagiging hotdog ko.
Life is just unfairly natural, isn't it. Napanuod ko sa tiktok about sa pod cast ni lyz uy and slater young, something about ***life brings you down, to bring you back to the ground***. Parang ganun ang thought, and I totally agree. Minsan madali isipin pano ka lulusot sa isang sitwasyon but kapag andun ka na gusto mo na lang gumulong.

Before we can fly without wings, one must date. Some people were lucky to find their match on the first try. Others like me needed to take time to get to know more people and make mistakes for us to find and know who is match gonna be.
Well, I am happy to say that I found mine. But before we ended up married, I made sure that I stick to some rules so I won't end up with the wrong person again.

What are your most important rules when going on a date?
Do a background check
Whether you met someone online or in person, you better do a background check. If you met them from a friend, in a bar, or somewhere else, ask around to know more about that person. Why not ask them personally? Good question, other people tend to show off on the first date so you better find out for yourself if it's true or not.
Communicate
Communication is the foundation of dating. Probably, you'll not go on a date if you weren't in constant communication with the other party. This is also one way to gauge if you should push through dating or not.
Be honest
About my first rule, we don't have to show off all the time. Some girls or guys don't like that, it's only good for a fling. If you're looking for a relationship, you better tell that person who you are.
Straight to the point
Dating is tricky. Some may look for a fling, one-night stand, friends-with-benefits kind of thing, but the main reason why I date is to look for a partner for life. Have the decency to let the other party know what your intention is so you don't have to waste your time, effort, and feelings for each other.
Introduce to your family/friends
This is the last rule that's important to my list. Letting that person into your life is crucial, so you'll need someone else's opinion to make sure that you're making the right decision for yourself. The right person will not be bothered being introduced to your family or friends because he/she would want to know more about you from other people's perspectives. From then, you would know if you'll go to the next step, exclusively dating.
Personal experience
I have been in different kinds of relationships and I always thought that I'd be married to someone I knew like a familiar person or a friend, but I was wrong.
I've met or even had relationships that didn't match the rules I had in mind. Since my exes were people I already know, I don't have to do the first rule. The other rules weren't met. I have experienced being ghosted, lied to, making me guess what they think, and wasn't introduced to the family. I say, if any of my rules weren't met, it'll be a red flag for me.
Oh before I forget, I am now married to a man who I met on a dating site and had an LDR relationship with. I never thought of doing or being in such a setup but surprisingly, it worked on us. How? I followed all my rules on dating. Now my heart has been flying without wings ♥♥♥
