Confidently Generous with a Heart Confidently Beautiful with a Heart That is something we can tell to everyone who, no matter how much they give to others, knows the value of being generous. Kind is such a simple word yet meaningful. We can be kind no matter what is the situation is. In my 7 months of being here, turning 8 months on 24, I have seen a lot of changes in this platform, especially on the number of users. If I am not mistaken, there were just 16, 000 users during the time I register here, and look at it now, we are about to hit 60, 000 users. It is something worth celebrating. Many people have shown their interests from reading and writing articles here. Of course with the hope of getting points and upvotes (before there is a pointing system where it serves as the basis for the amount you can get per day). I have met a lot of people and knew their stories. I have even organized a lot of events before that mainly focused on improving one's writing skills along poem writing, haiku writing, essay writing and the like. I have received a lot of tips because of my efforts and I have given a lot of tips also to those deserving ones. They came from my heart and the feeling is just so mesmerizing and incredible. If there's one thing I haven't experienced it here yet, that is to get a tip from sir @MarcDeMesel. Don't get me wrong. But who would not be happy if you receive any amount from him, right? He's so kind and very humble. If there's one phrase I could say to him that is the title of this article itself. ***He's confidently generous with a heart.*** But, just so you know guys, we can all be confidently generous with a heart no matter how much you can give to others. As long as it came from the heart, that would already be an example of being kind. I know the feeling of having nothing because I just came from a poor family that is why I really give something to others especially when I have some because the feeling of receiving something from others no matter what kind of help it is, is something that gives genuine happiness. We don't need to be sir @MarcDeMesel , and other generous people of read.cash just to be called kind. A small kind of help is still an act of being generous. Just a single message telling someone to smile and be grateful is already an act of kindness. Just be you and be happy. Again, let us say: *We are confidently generous with a heart.* Thank you sir @MarcDeMesel for your kindness. You are such a great roloe model. ❤️

Who is your favorite Filipino singer? Have you ever heard of a Filipino singer? Recently, Ez Mil, born Filipino, became trending. If you have been on the internet, chances are you have come across him, who is a rapper whose jaw-dropping performance of his song "Panalo" went viral. **Image** https://pixabay.com/photos/audio-concert-mic-microphone-music-2941753/ **Voices that are as sweet as sugar. Commendable head and whistle tones. Songs that are melodies to the ears and soul.** The phrases above perfectly delineate the voice quality of the Filipino singers. The Philippines is an archipelago which is located in Southeast Asia in the western Pacific Ocean. And this is where I came from. Yes, I am a Filipino, and I am proud of it. One of the best singers we have is none other than Lea Salonga. She is a Broadway singer and actress who is known worldwide for her excellent and compelling voice. We also have many more great singers like Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Lani Misalucha, Dulce, Sarah Geronimo-Guidicelli, Garry Valenciano, and many more great singers, either young or old, around the Philippines. Many Filipinos are outstanding when it comes to singing because of specific reasons. Our nation has a long-lasting tradition of music. Music is then part of our history, and it is granted in our souls. In almost every house, there are musical instruments. Whatever the occasion is, the singing of songs can be heard - it will never be eliminated. A Filipino by the name Roberto del Rosario holds the patent of Videoke or simplified word for video karaoke. Videoke is a machine wherein anyone can sing along to the instrumental versions of a variety of songs. You can also see the lyrics of the piece displayed on the screen in time with the music. Whether young or old, Filipinos can't be discontinued once they hold the microphone and started singing while the videoke is playing. As a matter of fact, videoke is present in almost every celebration. Moreover, parents always boost their children to practice singing at such a young age. Parents are also very supportive of their children in joining various singing competitions. It does not only help them build confidence, but it is also a great way to improve their vocals, which is very helpful to help each and everyone to become good singers. Another reason is that we are being encouraged to sing. We also have choir members in the church where they can make use of their God-given talents in singing, eventually improve it, and use it for the service of God at the same time. If you know the word "harana," that is also one of the reasons. A traditional practice where a young man serenades a lady by playing the guitar and singing at the same time underneath the lady's window of their house at night. It is such a sweet scene, right? There are many more reasons in my mind, but I think it will take me forever to tell it. My mind is a universe of thoughts, and I really wish I can write them all on a piece of paper at once. If ever you want to ask me if I am a good singer, I can also say that I am already good. I can sing well in front of the electric fan while it was turned on, especially in the comfort room or shower room while I had a shower. Sometimes, I like singing aloud, especially when my favorite songs are played on the radio or on the speaker. I don't care whatever they say because I am proud of my voice, even if it is not that good. At least, I am pleased. Filipinos are genuinely known for so many things. On the other hand, we also have Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and many more great boxers in the field of boxing, Gloria Diaz, Maria Margarita Moran, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, and Catriona Gray, and many more witty and beauty queens, as well as many more great Filipinos who bring honor and pride to our beloved country. With these things, I can say that we are indeed globally competitive. ***Who is your favorite Filipino singer?*** Thanks for reading.

Still Here A Poem of Inspiration By Dolores When you're feeling down and the world may seem upside-down It may keep on spinning in your head around, But, please do not let yourself frown Instead, just relax and stay calm. I'm telling you, life is not a piece of cake Don't get affected by others that are guaranteed fake Don't worry, it is okay to make a mistake Just learn from it before it's too late. You may face a lot of ups and downs in life Don't get sad about it nor strife Don't end it by using a knife Instead, have faith and treasure the most precious gift - our life. Know that you may first fail before you may succeed You may cry before getting what you need You may get tired but don't concede Believe in your dreams and always do a good deed. It is not just a poem of inspiration It is also a poem that gives motivation Make your dream come true, not just an imagination Work hard and take it with appreciation. I made this post with the hope of being recognized again. I get spammed for a few months now I think, but I am still hoping that one day, it will be lifted out. I am very sorry to whatever I failed to follow. But if it will still remain like this, I may not leave this platform because it is the first one that does not only reward my hard work here, it also helped me to learn all the thing I have grasped about BCH. Not a Love Story Not all written stories need to have a happy beginning and will finish with a happy ending. Some start and end in the opposite. Unluckily, this one belongs to it. Ready your handkerchiefs, you have been warned. The sky was getting dark, yet here I am walking alone on the road. I can't still believe what had happened a while ago. I promised before that I will not cry from the same man ever again, but here I am crying as my knees are shaking. It seems that destiny is really playing tricks on me. I cried out loud as if there's no tomorrow. I gave him a chance, but he didn't treasure it. He doesn't prove his worth to me. He is just really playing my feelings. I should not be like this if only I have opened my eyes from reality from the start. I continue crying as I walk alone on the cold road. I don't care anymore where will my feet bring me. I must still be thankful because at least, the rain is covering the truth that I am crying. I am about to cross the road when a bright gleaming light strikes my eyes. I can hear a loud buzzing sound from everywhere, but I already stop. I just waited to what will happen next. This incident should not have happened. If only Jake said his true feelings earlier, this incident would not occur. Rachel had given him a chance, but he did not treasure it. No, he did treasure it, but he just faked his feelings because he doesn't want her to get hurt. But, it seems like Rachel still faced the same fate. The only difference is that she was gone first. Jake's tears were continuously flowing down his cheeks as his heart keeps on beating fast. There's a pain in his heart, and then it goes up to his brain. A moment after, he lost his consciousness. He wakes up to the sound of a hospital apparatus. He noticed that he was inside the operating room. He heard one of the doctors. "The patient is awake." From that moment, he knew that he was not in good condition. He can't stop himself from crying again. The doctors are doing their best for him to keep calm, but his emotions are intense. He can't still believe what had happened. He blames himself because of it. The doctors are now panicking because his blood pressure is abnormally increasing. The doctors haven't removed the tumor yet in his brain. Few moments passed, there they saw a flat line on the machine. They did their best to make him alive even if it is almost impossible. Then, his heartbeats come back. The doctors were happy. They continue to remove the tumor, and after a few moments, they confirmed that the operation was successful. But, Jake is still in comatose. The doctor spoke to his family and said that they had removed the tumor, but Jake is in a coma. The doctors said that they couldn't guarantee when will he awake. They cried all night, and they did not stop praying. The next day, Jake is still sleeping. The family of Rachel heard what happened to him. Some of them say that he deserved what happened to him because they blame him for the death of Rachel. Little did they know, Jake only did what he thinks is right because he knew that he would soon die due to his condition. He doesn't want Rachel to suffer and get depressed. Hobbyists **While others have been able to make the most of their hobbies and made them as a source of income, there are many of us who are just contented with the joy and satisfaction we get from doing them.** But, in the first place, what do we mean by **hobby?** Hobby is defined as, you know, those fun activities we personally love to do to excuse ourselves from the stresses of life. Hobbies make us feel satisfied and happy, even when we are going through some challenging phase in our lives. Travelling probably is one of the most exciting and enjoyable hobbies, would you agree? Listening to music has always been one of my favorite hobbies. The love I feel for it can be traced back to when I was still a child. I would either turn on the radio and listen to some sorts of music from my favorite radio station - Core FM, or stream music in Youtube. Sometimes, I also dance with the music, most especially, if the music being played is trending on Tiktok. On the other hand, calm and inspiring music such as those pieces of music from Ben n Ben, gives me the needed refuge whenever I feel like my head is spinning around and I just want to calm myself. It is known that music has different kinds, and I am thankful because I can listen to pieces of music inclined with my current feelings. They keep me inspired and motivated during those moments I needed to prepare for something. It can also be incorporated with other hobbies, and I like their tandem with writing. Silver Necklace Finale I have spent enough time to train at Silver Land's Training ground. As of now, I still don't know what I am preparing for. But right from the moment I saw the mythical suit, I was dazed. I wanted to wear it, but I do not know if I will be allowed. Anyways, today is my final training. I am just following him. He keeps on talking, but I am not interested. I can feel the pain in my body, but I have to keep on walking. When he stopped, I also stopped. And what surprised me is that, we are currently inside the room where the mythical suit is found. I asked him why we are there and he just responded that, this is already the right time. I frowned upon hearing it. I was stuck in the moment. There are things in my mind that I want to say, but it was solved when he speak again. "This suit is actually meant for someone like you. You are the Extreme Silverian Ranger, and it is your duty to save the Silver Land." I do not know what to react. At first, I laugh because I thought he was just joking. But, his faced was so plain, and it seems that he is asking me if he was just a joke to me. Anyways, I grabbed the opportunity. I once dream to become a superhero, and this could be the perfect time to fulfill it. He allowed me to wear it. I was smiling so wide while heading to it. When I started to wear it, it's like it is so cool. When I have fully wore it, I looked at the mirror and I was amazed by my reflection. I was about to turn my gaze when suddenly we heard a big blast from outside. It seems like the chaos has started. All I can hear was the scream of Silverians. They were all shouting. The Silverian warriors started to fight the Copperian Bots and Mechas. The man who is at my side a while ago started to join the fight. The Copperian Bots have caused a massive damage to the city in just a short period of time. Without thinking twice, I started to walk. I still don't know how to use the suit, but with my instinct, I just pressed one of the button, and then I started to go up. "Whoaa" I did not expect that the suit can helo me fly. I used it to go nearer at the bots and mechas. Some of them are using their laser and electronic guns on me, but luckily I managed to dodge them all. I pressed another button and then, an electronic gun came out. I used it to shoot them one by one. When the other Copperian Bots notice me, they immediately chase me. Unluckily, the energy of the suit was drained. I have no choice, but to fight them using my acquired skills from the training. I knock them out one by one while dodging their attacks. Later on, I find it difficult to defeat them just by doing, so I tried to find a way to kill them all at once. I have notices that I haven't clicked yet the last button in my suit, I immediately click it without thinking twice and then suddenly, a big blast happened. I did not expect that it was the destructive option. It was too late before realizing it all. My suit exploded together with the Copperian Bots and Mechas. I have noticed that the silver necklace wasn't damaged. It was in my hand during the explosion and it saves me from the explosion. Though, I received a lot of damaged. Before I lose my consciousness, I heard him saying something. But, I just can't understand it. "Cong.....a...ions! Mis.... Com... ted. " Then, I woke up from my bed. I looked myself in the mirror. I did not feel nor see any changes in my body physically. But, I have noticed one thing. I saw the silver necklace on my neck. I screamed and with this thing that I made, I was scolded by my mom. Sweet Revenge 3 `Title for this Chapter` **/Who is Anastacia?/** Like a beautiful lady with a good heart, Anastacia Sanchez never failed to make John Kendrix Sanchez deeply fall in love with her. It may sound exaggerated, but that was John's exact answer when I tried to ask him about Anastacia. I asked him about his age, and I was so shocked when he said that he is now 36 years old. He still looks young and handsome at his age. If you do not know him, you will probably think that he is just in his early 20's. I tried to interrogate him more, and I am thankful because he did not refuse it. The moment I found out his real age, it comes to my mind that Anastacia is now 36 years old also if she is still alive. I tried to ask about her death date, and it seems that destiny really planned it all. I was speechless for the next few seconds upon hearing his answer. She died on October 4, 2000, and that date was the day of my birth. I do not know if it is just a coincidence, but I was really shocked. Then, I just realized that her name can be deciphered as "resurrection." I felt goosebumps upon learning it all. Is it possible that she was reincarnated? It is hard to believe it because I have different religious views. But, to think of it, there is indeed a chance. Could it be me? With all of this information, I suddenly feel a pain in my head. John called the nurse, and right before the nurse came in, I again lost my consciousness. I heard someone singing a song with sweet melodies. Her soft voice is condemning. I can't help but go nearer to her. When I finally reached where she is singing, my eyes were focused on her face. It is just like I am looking in front of a mirror. Her face looks the same as mine. I do not know if it was the correct term, but it seems like I am her carbon copy. From head to toe, you cannot see any distinction. It also happened that song entitled "One Day," which she was singing was my favorite song. I sat beside her and started to talk. At first, I thought she did not hear my question. That is why I asked her again only to face the same experience. I tried to touch her shoulder, but I feel terrified when my hand just passed through her shoulders. Then, a familiar boy walking in the distance stops when he heard this girl's voice. I haven't seen her face yet because I don't want to interrupt her. But, since she cannot notice me, I stand up and go in front of her. I almost lost my balance while seeing her face. The next moments were so fast that I can't almost understand each situation already. Then, I thought it was a flashback. These were the scenes from the life of Anastacia before. Now I know why the boy awhile ago was so familiar because it was John. But, I still cannot understand why he also looks like Max in his younger look. If it was reincarnation too, why John is still here? Then, the flashbacks of scenes stop at how they started falling for each other. I felt butterflies in my stomach as I watch these scenes. They were so sweet to each other, and the way they look to each other's eyes was so meaningful, full of love. But, after those sweet memories, it changes to darker ones. Another man came to the scene. His face is not clear. I come closer to him, but I can't really see his face. It's like a shallow. From a distance, I saw a woman with thick lipstick and makeup on her face. Like him, I can't recognize her face. Only the makeup and lipstick were clear, and the rest were shallow. I heard the woman said something to the guy. She confessed her feelings, but the guys said sorry. The woman was hurt so much, and it can be seen from her eyes. Her tears stream down her cheeks, and she can't help but burst out her anger. She said a familiar phrase that keeps resonating in my mind. **"Sorry, but I have to do this for myself."** I already that phrase, but I can't remember who said that. I was busy thinking about it when the scene was changed again. This time, I was in a dark forest. It was so terrifying because of the different sounds you can hear. I tried to escape, but I stopped when I witnessed a scene. I saw three people. The two were standing, and one of them was holding something. The other one was lying on the ground while asking for some help. I shouted so loud when I saw the woman on the ground. She was Anastacia. I look up to the face of the murderers, but only the guy's face was clear. Tears suddenly come out from my eyes when I see his face. This cannot be. I turned my gaze to the woman next to him with, I throw words, but it is just like I am wasting my energy because she will never hear nor see since I was only in a dream. Once again, the woman who is holding a shovel, I think, hit multiple times the body of Anastacia. It only stops when a guy came closer to them. The guy is also the guy with a shallow face. His anger burst out when he saw Anastacia on the ground with a lifeless look. He runs to trail the two killers. When he chased them, he punches so hard the face of the guy. The shallow guy was so shocked when he found out that the other guy has a gun. The other guy used it. It created a sound. I am waiting to see the shallow guy fall to the ground, but I can't believe when the woman was the one who fell to the ground. She faced the bullet with saving the other guy. It makes sense because the woman loves the other guy so much even if she did not get what she wanted from him. The other guy holding a gun once again used it, and this time, he used the weapon to kill the other guy. The shallow guy tried to get the gun, but the other guy was bigger and stronger. At the end, he was also killed. Then, I came back to reality with tears flowing down my cheeks. John is asking me, but I was so speechless because of the things I found out. How to Insert Tables in MS Word? **Tables** Here we are again for a new article about Microsoft Word. In this article, we will talk about inserting tables. If you are interested, seat back and relax. Using regular text to compose your documents is fine in most cases. But for something that requires more organization, you might want to try a table. This will let you enter your text in columns and rows, instead of lines or paragraphs. **To create a new table:** 1. Go to Insert and choose Table. 2. Mouse over the grid to select the number of cells you want. 3. Now click insert a table and the table appears in your document, where you can start entering your information. **If you already have some of your information listed, don't worry—you don't have to start from scratch.** 1. Start by selecting your text. 2. Then go to back to the Insert tab and click Table. 3. Now click Convert Text to Table and choose one of the options for separating your text. 4. When you're ready, click OK, and the text will appear in a table. To enter information, just click the cell you want. You can also use the arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate. **To insert a column or a row:** 1. Hover outside the table over one of the cell dividers. 2. Notice the plus sign that appears? All you have to do is click, and Word will add a column or row in that location. **Deleting columns and rows** 1. First, select a cell in the range you want to delete. 2. Then right-click, and choose Delete Cells from the menu. 3. Then click OK. For this post, let's talk about Page Number in Microsoft Word 2016. When you hear these words, what comes first to your mind? If you do not have an idea regarding it, let us take a look to the following information. **Page Numbers** Page numbers can be used to automatically number each page in your document. They come in a wide range of number formats and can even be customized to suit your needs. Page numbers are usually placed in your document's header or footer. **To begin** **1**. Navigate to the Insert tab. **2**. Then click the Page Number command. You'll find a few different options designed to help you with different types of documents. To add page numbers to an existing header or footer, use the Current Position command. Otherwise, choose one of these three options to create page numbers from scratch. No matter what you select, Word gives you several different numbering styles to choose from. All you have to do is click the one you want, and it will be added to your document. As you can see, the Design tab appears any time your header or footer is open, making it easy to customize your page numbers. For instance, if you want to remove them from page 1 (then resume on page 2), you can check the box next to Different First Page. To close your header or footer, click this button there, or press Esc on your keyboard. To open it again, simply double-click the margin to unlock it. If there's a separate section towards the end where you’d like to start the numbering over, you can even apply different styles to each section. All you have to do is insert a section break first. I thought I was cursed because of this but I am wrong because I'am not the only one who was given powers."** **"Tama ka you're not the only one. Enigmatic Magicians 2 Pagkamulat ko sa aking mata, napansin kong nasa ibang lugar na ako. Isang lugar na ngayon ko lang ulit nasilayan. Agad sumakit ang ulo ko when I remembered again what had happen a while ago. Isang karumal-dumal na pangyayari na ang puno't dulo ay walang iba kundi ako, ang pagkakamaling nagawa ko. Hindi ko tuloy mapigilang humikbi. **"Gising ka na pala, ako nga pala si Nurse Cynthia. Ikaw anong pangalan mo?** Sabi ng nurse **"Clyde Joaquin po"** Tipid kong sagot **"Buti kunting galos lang ang napala mo sa sunog. Nga pala nasaan ang mga magulang mo? 'Di ba nila alam na nandito ka? Alam mo ba ang numero nila para matawagan ko?"** Deretsong tanong ng nurse Mula sa mga tanong na iyon, hindi ko na napigilan pa ang pagbuhos ng aking mga luha. Sa bawat patak ay katumbas ng isang kirot sa aking puso na tila dumudurog sa buo kong pagkatao. **"Kasalanan ko, kasalanan ko ang lahat"** Sabi ko habang humihikbi **"Pasensya Clyde, hindi ko ibig tanungin ang mga iyon. Bigla na lamang akong napa-upo sa kalsada tapos may narinig akong bumulyaw, **"magpapakamatay ka ba? kung oo doon ka tumalon sa tulay hindi yung mandadamay ka pa ng iba"** ngunit agad din akong tumayo at hindi man lang pinansin kong sino yung nagsalita. Patuloy lang ako sa paglalakad ng biglang humangin ng napakalakas, pagkatapos non ay kumidlat, binalot na ng kadiliman ang paligid, bumuhos na rin ang napakalakas na ulan. Hindi ko man lang nagawang sumilong, wala parin akong tigil sa paglalakad hanggang mapadpad ako sa isang lugar na kumuha ng aking atensyon. Isang Carnival, ang lugar kung saan ako palaging dinadala ng aking mga magulang. Ngayon lang ulit dumako sa aking isipan ang mga pangyayaring iyon bago maganap ang pangyayaring naglagay sa aking kinatatayuan ngayon. Kasabay ng pagbuhos ng ulan ang pagpatak ng walang katapusan kong luha. May isa palang kagandahan ang pagkakaroon ng ulan, kahit umiiyak ka na pala ay hindi agd mapapansin ng tao unless they will focus their attention unto you. **"Bakit ka pa naliligo sa ulan sa ganitong oras? baka magkasakit ka lang"** sabi ng isang lalaking may dalang payong at papalapit sa akin Sasagutin ko na sana siya ng agad din itong nagsalita **"Teka, umiiyak ka ba?** dagdag nito **"Hindi!"** Malakas kong sabi sa kanya **"Teka bro, huwag ka namang magalit sa akin. nagmamalasakit lang"** **"Pwes, hindi ko kailangan yang malasakit mo kaya umalis ka na sa aking harapan"** Itutulak ko na sana siya ng agad itong nakaiwas, kaya ang ending ako ang napasubsob sa putikan. Enigmatic Magicians 1 **Clyde POV** **"Sunog!"** Ito ang aking isinisigaw habang papalabas mula sa aking kwarto. Agad kong pinuntahan ang kwarto ng aking mga magulang but I can't open it, it was locked. Sinubukan kong tuktukin ito ng pagkalakas-lakas pero hindi parin sila nagigising. Hindi ko na mapigilan ang aking sarili sa pag-iyak. I decided to go out. I shouted and screamed outside saying **"Sunog!"** just to get the attention of our neighbors. Unti-unti na silang nagsilabasan, all people seems to be frenetic already. Ang iba ay agad na gumawa ng aksyon. Ang lahat na ngayon ay nagtutulungan upang mapatay agad ang apoy. Turmoil. Outburst. Devastation. Ang lahat ng tao'y nagtutulungan at nagbubuhos ng tubig sa aming bahay. Naroon lang ako sa isang tabi habang ang mga mata ay nakatitok lang sa nasusunog na bahay. Ang isip ay lumilipad. "Clyde, bakit nasusunog ang bahay niyo?" Tanong ng isa naming kapit-bahay "Hindi ko sinasadya, hindi." Sagot ko "Anong sinasabi mo? hindi kita maintindihan" Tanong pa niya pero hindi ko na ito nasagot ng marinig kong malapit na ang mga bombero "Wee woo, wee woo, wee woo" the sirens from the incoming firetrucks. Buhos dito, buhos doon. Ngunit tila hindi nagpapatinag ang apoy. Patuloy pa rin ito sa paglaki. I can't help so I just cried out loud. It was all my fault. Kung hindi lang sana ako pinanganak na ganito, hindi sana mangyayari ang lahat ng ito. "Nay! Tay!**"** Sigaw ko habang papalapit sa aming bahay ngunit pilit akong hinaharangan ng mga bombero. Nagpupumiglas ako pero wala akong magawa dahil di hamak na mas malakas sila. Ayaw ko namang gamitin uli ang aking kapangyarihan dahil baka matakot lang sila sa akin. Malakas na ang apoy, nadamay na rin pati ang mga karatig na mga bahay. Sana panaginip na lang ang lahat, ilang beses ko ring kinurot ang aking pisngi pero nasaksaktan ako. Isa lang ang ibig sabihin nito, talagang nasusunog ang aming barangay. Ito ay marahil dahil sa kagagawan ko. Nang dahil sa katangahan ko. ---- Makalipas ang ilang oras, napatay na rin sa wakas ang apoy. Wala akong ginawang iba kundi ang umiyak at sisihin ang sarili ko. Tutal, ako naman talaga ang siyang may kasalanan kung bakit ito nangyari. 20 houses are affected from the fire including our house which was totally washed out. mistulang naging haunted ang aming barangay dahil sa pangyayari. Mula sa paligid, maririnig mo ang mga taong nagsisi-iyakan. May ilang mga reporters na rin ang dumating, may isa pa ngang lumapit at gusto akong kunan ng saloobin but I refused it. Ayaw kong magsalita, hindi dahil guilty ako kundi dahil sa pangyayari. It makes me confused, I don't know what to say. Hanggang sa unti-unti na pala akong lumalapit sa mga bangkay na inilabas. Puno ng kaba ang aking dibdib. Sana mali ang iniisip ko, sana. Ngunit nanghina ng tuluyan ang aking tuhod mula sa aking nasilayan. Wala na, wala na ang mga mahal ko sa buhay. Isa akong sumpa! Enigmatic Magicians What if you were born with powers? Maybe, you'll be the happiest and indeed luckiest person in the world. But what if you are not the only one? Akala ko katapusan na ng aking mundo, akala ko lalamunin na ako ng aking konsensya, akala ko mababaliw na ako. Pero hindi, hindi iyon nangyari dahil napadpad ako sa isang lugar kung saan natulungan akong mahilom ang sugat mula sa aking puso. They are the one who helped me to recover. One's Ikigai ***Have you ever heard the term ikigai?*** ***There are times when we just find ourselves in a corner thinking of certain things in life.*** Do you have this nights in your life wherein you can't sleep? You are just lying in your bed and wondering what is the essence of your life. Probably, you are thinking of things to do in your life, and that you are doing the best that you can to joyfully make it happen. We just have to realize that no matter how many trials that will come in our life, we will manage to surpass them all because we have God. Just believe that we can do it, and it will happen. By thinking these things to happen, it gives a sense of chance that it will happen, and that our hard works are worthy. **Now, what is your ikigai?** It is a Japanese concept that means "a reason for being". The word refers to having a direction or purpose in life, that which makes one's life worthwhile, and towards which an individual takes spontaneous and willing actions giving them satisfaction and a sense of **meaning** to life (Wikipedia, 2020) At this point, can you tell what your ikigai is? If not yet, here is the bigger picture. I hope it will clarify what you are thinking. According to Japanese culture, your ikigai lies at the center of four intersecting circles: **Mission:** What you love **Vocation:** What the world needs **Profession:** What you can get paid for **Passion:** What you are good at **Are you thinking about your ikigai? Do you want to know the reason of your being?** Then, answer these things: What are the things you love? What do you think the world needs to you? What do you think is the profession you can get paid for? What do you think the things that you are good at? Get a paper and list down your answers. It takes time to figure out about these things, do not rush. But if you know now what are the reasons of your being, then do it. You do not have to rush in just for you to have something to write. You can think for it. Have enough time to think of it very well. A philosopher and civil rights leader by the name Howard W Thurman once said, “Ask what makes you come alive and go do it.” … “Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” From the elements above, it helps contribute to our happiness, finances and intellectual pursuit, and health. All these things are very important for us to find “the reason to wake up in the morning.” Do not be afraid to take risks in life. Sometimes, you have to take risks to see the better picture. There's nothing wrong about it, it will only be wrong if it is employed in the wrong path. Sometimes you have to follow your curiousity in the good way. Don't just buy anything you want. Being jealous is not bad sometimes but you should minimize it. You are not just picking money anywhere. You need to work for it. It is not bad to buy something as long as you need it. It is not good in the long run. It will only ruin your life. Instead of using your money to vices which are indeed expensive, why not save it and use it to buy things you really need? **#5 If you're still a student, apply for a scholarship program** It is extremely helpful to be a scholar while you are still studying, it will not only help you financially, it will also help you learn how to save money and will serve as an inspiration to strive hard. **#6 Make a budget** You need to have a budget plan to understand how much you can afford to spend in a month. List down all your incomes and expenses, if you see that your expenses are greater than your income consider what expenses are less important, and what expenses you could cut out or spend less. **#7 Drink water instead of sodas and flavored drinks** Sodas and flavored drinks are quite expensive that is why it is advisable to drink water. Bring it Back The sun rises with a great smile on its face. It brightens up again the beauty of nature that nothing can compensate. The birds continuously singing and the wind is calmly passing by. It is such a wonderful paradise filled with nothing but goodness. This scenario always come to my mind. Each time I dream or think of it, I always smile. Unlike in reality, I can see how beautiful the world is without crimes and badness. *A once beautiful world, which has been touched by the cruel hands of humans, becomes duller; scars are everywhere.* Yes, there are many beautiful places on earth but some of the places now are not as good and as beautiful as before. Some people continue to hurt the feelings of mother nature through several activities such as deforestation, kaingin and many more activities that can ruin the beauty of the place we are living in. I hate to say this but, some people are ignorant. They don't see the true value of the nature. They cut trees without thinking twice and this is something unacceptable most especially when they don't plant new trees. Mother nature needs our help. Let us heal her wounds by planting trees, doing good things to the environment, and making the world go green. Our own little ways, if put together, will create a big change - a change for the betterment of ourselves and a change for bringing back what has been damaged. Each help, whether small or big, can still help. It does not change the fact that the quality of it will remain the same. **Imagine this:** There are no pollution. The air is fresh to breathe in. The water on the oceans and rivers were as clear as crystal. The world will be greener, and the people will be happier. Natural tourists spots are becoming more wonderful. Number of tourists who appreciate the beauty, increases continuously. And many more good things. Isn't it good? The better the place, the better the enjoyment. You should not only contribute help just because you are forced to, contribute help, no matter what is the quantity of it, with all your heart. With all these things, we will be able to see a very beautiful world again. A place which looks like a paradise. A place where there are no wars, nor hatred. How I wish the old pictures to come back. The old pictures that keep on appearing in mind. The old pictures that show how good to live in a paradise. Nature is truly a place where we can go and forget about our everyday life, a place where there is no responsibility weighing down our shoulders. Immense Felicity **Do you believe in the saying that money can make the world go round and that money can buy happiness?** Happiness can be defined in many ways. Even how big or small a thing is, as long as it gives you happiness, it will still be called happiness. You can feel it even with the simple things you have in life. There is a saying that says you don't have to be rich to feel happy and contented. Sometimes, we also cry because of joy, and this is commonly known as tears of joy. For me, little things can make me happy.
