It's the first day of school today for most schools public or private, and since my son is at the age that needs to go attend school. He felt pressured that he peed on his shorts. He was crying while bringing his things for the study session. Earlier when I was preparing to leave I told him to be a good boy because he will have his first day of school today.
He was crying and calling for his mama.
Mom called me that my son is crying but I was busy with work. At noon break I called him and ask him why is he crying. He just told me that it is better when I am with him than with her Tita. Poor child.
And the usual bribe happens. " Be good and Mama will try to go home after her vaccination tomorrow okay, I'll bring you treats if you behave and follow what Tita is teaching."
Learning at home is different compare to when you are learning at school. The time a student spent studying is longer compared to when they are at home. So many distractions, I experienced it when I was the one who tutored my niece last year during the pandemic and the class resumed.
I told Mom not to pressure him and let the kids hear some instrumental music, that way the kids will be more focused on writing and learning. I actually had a lot of playlists on meditation and classic musical songs for my son because I thought I will be there on his first day.
Around three in the afternoon which is their siesta time, Mom sent me this picture. My son requested to let me see his writings. Not bad though and I felt so proud although this is just basic in writing and although he is old for his age to learn this, as his mom I felt proud because even though I am not around he managed to show me this.
This simple thing that my son does and the words he utter just give me warmth. You'll know when you became a Mom. We just finished having video calls and he is bragging about all the things he did during their lessons. He got a star from his Tita and he complete writing the A, B & C.
After the call I get emotional. I don't know. Maybe I just want to be there with him during his firsts. And this is one of them. I want to share the happiness he has but since I'm at work all I can do is cheer and pray for him, for the kids to be exact. To be strong and to be eager to learn because it will be only for their future.
I am also thankful to my Mom and my sister since they're the ones assisting the kids with their modules now. I praise and thank God for their patience in tutoring the kids. I also thank the Lord for Papz for being the one in charge of cooking since the ladies are busy with the kids, for preparing their snacks and dinner also.
Is it the start of the class also in your area? how was it?
Anyways, my schedule for 2nd dose is moved tomorrow instead of last Friday, so good luck to me!!

Maayo ng imo anak mam. Usa sa nakakapasadya it maguyang ay makita kag achievement it anak. Sana matapos na ang pandemic para naman ma experience ng ating mga anak ang face to face classes. Iba pa rin kc pag nasa school talaga sila.
